If rumors are to be believed, it looks like Marvel has been busy lately, as a new leak suggests that a Blade video game is in the works at Ubisoft

Initially spotted by YouTuber JorRaptor in his recent YouTube video, actor Alex Martin revealed that he is working on a new Ubisoft title via a post on Instagram.

The same day, Alex posted two new pictures alongside fellow actor Edwin Gaffney in their motion capture suits. One of those pictures includes Gaffney holding a clapperboard that says “Marvel” under the production and the director’s name is B. Tariq.

What ties this all together is the fact that Bassam Tariq is the director for the upcoming Blade movie from Marvel that releases sometime in 2023. Also, both the actors used the hashtags “ubisoft” and “ubisoftgames” in the images with them holding the Marvel clapperboard which draws more attention.

Recently, we also heard from Jeff Grubb that EA is working on two Marvel projects, with one of them being a Black Panther game. It looks like Marvel has become really invested in the gaming industry with the upcoming plethora of confirmed and rumored games they have in development.

Maybe we’ll get an official announcement about Marvel’s Blade game from Ubisoft at the upcoming Disney & Marvel Games Showcase, but until then take this rumor with a grain of salt as we cannot confirm anything until an official announcement is made by Marvel or Ubisoft.

Update: Ubisoft has outright debunked the Blade rumors! Sorry, vampire slayers!
