The Division Resurgence, Rainbow Six Mobile Quietly Delayed, No Longer Expected in FY25
Announced two years ago, and originally set to be released in fall of 2023, the mobile version of The Division franchise — titled “The Division Resurgence” — has been delayed once again. Alongside it, Rainbow Six Mobile has also been pushed back.
The news comes from Ubisoft’s latest sales report, where the company announced that they are not expecting both games to launch no sooner than April 2025 (which is the beginning of Fiscal Year 2026).
Full-year 2024-25
The line-up for the rest of FY25 includes Assassin’s Creed Shadows and Star Wars Outlaws. Rainbow Six® Mobile and The Division® Resurgence are no longer expected in FY25 as the teams are taking the necessary time to ensure that these experiences deliver on expectations with optimized KPIs in the context of a demanding yet very large market
The last official news we got for it was a CGI trailer mentioning how it’s being prepped for a fall 2023 release. Needless to say, that hasn’t materialized at all.
While The Division’s mobile version might not be ready just yet, the main game in the franchise, The Division 2, is still going strong. Not only did Ubisoft announce a new roadmap and confirmed that new story DLC is set for next year, there’s even a Seasons 2.0 change incoming that’s currently being cooked at Ubisoft after player feedback was less-than-stellar.
As for Rainbow Six Mobile, it was announced two years ago, and Ubisoft has remained quiet about it ever since.
