Ubisoft Pass Existence Leaked by Ubisoft Store

Ubisoft could be bringing their own subscription based service

A ResetEra user spotted a possible new feature for the Ubisoft Store. This leak takes the form of a placeholder image for a new subscription service. This placeholder image was live on the Ubisoft Store for a short amount of time. It appears to be the placeholder for an unannounced service called the Ubisoft Pass.

Ubisoft Pass leaked?

There hasn’t been any confirmation from Ubisoft about the nature of this placeholder image. However, it’s easy to assume that this is going to be a subscription service much like EA Access. The word “Premium” leads some users to believe that this service will be delivered in tiers with multiple benefits.

Of course, the main concern about this supposedly upcoming subscription service would be the price point. Some users speculate that the price would be of $5 to $10 USD per month. However, this is pure speculation as the image doesn’t show anything regarding a price for the service. With E3 around the corner, it’s easy to assume that Ubisoft will further explain the ins and outs of this new streaming service during their conference. Other than that, we’ll be on the lookout for new details regarding the Ubisoft Pass and the Ubisoft Pass Premium.

In the current climate of subscription-based game services, it’s definitely not strange to see Ubisoft throwing their own alternative to the mix. Especially considering that Ubisoft has a library of legendary titles spanning multiple console generations. Franchises like Assassin’s Creed, Splinter Cell, Rainbow Six, Prince of Persia, and many more would give Ubisoft more than enough material to keep players satisfied.
