Assassin’s Creed Shadows Gameplay Trailer Slices Out, Full Reveal at Ubisoft Forward

Ubisoft has shared the first look at Assassin’s Creed Shadows gameplay at today’s Xbox Games Showcase. The game launches on November 15, and the new trailer showed off both of the game’s protagonists and their unique playstyles.

You can watch the new trailer here:

We got a few minor details from the Xbox Wire as well:

Assassin’s Creed Shadows launches on November 15 for Xbox Series X|S, giving players a chance to explore 16th Century Japan as Naoe, an adept shinobi from the province of Iga; and Yasuke, a powerful samurai and Assassin’s Creed’s first fully playable historical figure.

Today’s gameplay trailer gave fans their first glimpse at what’s new in Assassin’s Creed Shadows – we saw how the two protagonists, Yasuke and Naoe will differ (and complement one another) in equipment and abilities, as well as the game’s wider world, and Shadows’ changing seasons. Stay tuned for a full gameplay walkthrough reveal tomorrow during Ubisoft Forward (starting at 12pm PT / 3pm ET / 3am HKT).

That’s right, the full gameplay reveal will show up at tomorrow’s Ubisoft Forward event and feature around 13 minutes of brand-new gameplay for us to sink our teeth into. So far though, we’re pretty happy with this first look at the game. It’s stacking up to be more of the same RPG goodness the last few titles in the series have been, but with a way cooler setting.

Black Ops 6 Brings Back Traditional Prestige, Theater Mode; Omnimovement, Customizable HUD

Microsoft not only gave us our first look at Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 today, but a ton of info regarding multiplayer has dropped as well. First off, Black Ops 6 will be bringing back the traditional Prestige system and even Theater Mode is returning as well.

In addition to the returning features, Treyarch unveiled our first look at what the studio calls “omnimovement.” This, coupled with the new advancements in animation, will shake up how movement is played out in Black Ops 6’s multiplayer.

Black Ops 6 Multiplayer Info From Call of Duty Direct:

Omnimovement

For the first time ever, players can sprint, slide, and dive in any direction (forward, sidestepping, and backpedaling) and move like a true Black Ops action hero. This innovation immediately allows the player to move like never before and seamlessly chain combat maneuvers together, like sliding, diving and a newly enhanced supine prone, all with a full 360 degrees range of motion.

If you can sprint in any direction, then it logically follows that you can slide and dive in any direction, too. This opened a world of new movement options. With a simple – and extremely engaging – prototype up and running, the team instantly knew this was much more than a modest improvement to the way you maneuver your Operator in combat:

Watch it in action:

Intelligent Movement

Omnimovement isn’t the only movement innovation coming to Black Ops 6. There’s a new set of features known as Intelligent Movement, which is designed to drastically reduce how many buttons or keys you’re pressing to perform various movements. The spark of the idea behind Intelligent Movement was wanting players to focus on what they wanted to achieve with movement, rather than how to achieve it. Every player, regardless of skill level, input, or experience with Call of Duty, can engage in Omnimovement and become an action hero in Black Ops 6. There are three categories that you can enable (or disable) in the Player Options:

  • Sprint Assist
  • Mantle Assist
  • Crouch Assist

Designed with both Omnimovement and player expression in mind, you also have the freedom to fine-tune these settings depending on your style of play.

However, those who don’t want this new movement system when playing, you’ll be able to change it in the setting menus. Gamers will be able to play around with combinations of actions or enable or disable a related command for, to make it suited for their own experience.

Enemy Hit Zones

In past Black Ops games, when you eliminated an enemy, they reacted to taking damage based on the Hit Zone you struck them in, and depending on where that was, you observed an animation based on both the location of the shot, and the deadliness of the damage. With the return of Black Ops 6, the number of Hit Zone regions has more than doubled, from four to nine.

With more than twice the number of regions to target, you can expect a much wider variety of visual takedowns across Campaign and Multiplayer modes. Now it can be determined, for example, if an enemy was shot in the left or right leg and play a bespoke death animation related to the shot. Or, if an Operator takes a high caliber sniper round to the right arm as they’re sprinting, that appendage will snap back and spin them around as the weight of the body carries forward as they collapse to the ground.

Check it in action:

World Connectivity

Another innovation is World Connectivity, a much more subtle but recognizable set of animation overhauls based on the concept that the player’s movement and reactions are connected to the in-game world in a dynamic way and based on the player’s choices.

This is related to the overarching idea of keeping the player in a “flow state,” minimizing the jarring between different animations, for example. Take this a step further, and you have an example feature known as Corner Slicing. As you round a corner or go through a doorway, your weapon dynamically rotates in that same direction. Since this is dynamic, the rotation becomes more dramatic if you’re slowly sneaking through, clearing a room, whereas it won’t affect you at all if you’re barreling full speed around that same corner. This doesn’t affect gameplay as it’s purely a visual adjustment, but when real-world Operators were observed clearing a building, they always moved with anticipation of that next firefight.

Watch corner slicing in action:

HUD Customization

For Black Ops 6, the player experience is all about focusing you on what you need, when you need it. Advancements in HUD (Heads Up Display) design echoes this mantra, with a variety of changes you can make based on established presets. From the minimap, to the ammo widget, to in game notifications, the Black Ops 6 HUD combines exceptional designs in a clean, streamlined experience. As always, the Multiplayer medal acquirement notifications hit hard and the scorefeed makes eliminations even more gratifying, along with plenty of new innovations.

For the first time in a Black Ops game, players will be able to change their HUD in dramatic ways to suit their needs. For example, you may want your HUD centered so you don’t have to look at the corners of your screen as often. Perhaps you plan to play Hardcore mode anywhere and want all the HUD elements removed accordingly. Has the mini-map been in the top-left corner of your screen for far too long? Then move it! Streamers have a layout optimized for their setup. These are all options, and everything connects you to the in-game world, from the Lobby, into combat, and back again, where your player progress and achievements are celebrated in a big way.

The Return of Classic Prestige

Black Ops 6 will mark the return of traditional Call of Duty Prestige.

Players can look forward to experiencing some classic, recognizable aspects of Prestige once you reach your maximum player level. At this point, you have the optional choice to enter Prestige. This essentially starts your ranking up afresh, relocking the gear you grinded through from levels 1-55, enabling you to go through the leveling journey again.

Black Ops 6 will have 10 of these Prestiges, each with a valuable set of rewards to earn and equip to showcase your impressive in-game status. But you aren’t done yet, as those completing Prestige 10 will graduate into Prestige Master, with 1,000 additional levels to climb through, and a classified reward to uncover if you’re dedicated enough to make it all the way to the end.

The full Prestige system is available at launch in Black Ops 6 so players can play at their own pace without ever being slowed down by seasonal level caps.

Alongside that info, content creators were invited, which confirmed that the three-perk system per loadout is back! More info is available below (via CharlieIntel):

— Classic Prestige returns
— Simplified Lobby UI with “invite friends” back
— New minimal HUD with custom presets
— Loadouts with Primary, Secondary, Melee
— 3 Perks per loadout
— Equip 3 Perks of the same Category to get Perk Speciality
— 5 attachments, up to 8 with Wildcard
— Traditional Scorestreaks are back
— Winner’s Circle is back
— Best play is back
— Shooting range is back
— 16 maps at launch, 12 6v6 + 4 Strike maps
— Classic three lane maps
— New Omnimovement – deep, slide, sprint in any direction
— Intelligent movement to auto sprint & mantle
— Hit Animations – 9 hit spots to give realistic effect when dying

More info regarding Black Ops 6’s multiplayer will be revealed in Call of Duty Next this August 28. For info on Zombies and single-player, head on over here.

Black Ops 6 Zombies Returns to Round-Based Combat; Campaign Story and Mission Details Revealed

Following today’s lengthy Xbox Games Showcase, we got an extended look at Treyarch’s next Call of Duty title. They shared some great news: Black Ops 6 Zombies will be a return-to-form with round-based waves and feature two maps at launch. We also got an in-depth look at the game’s campaign setting.

You can watch the extended breakdown below:

Without further ado, let’s dive into what we learned during today’s Black Ops 6 Direct:

Black Ops 6 Zombies

As confirmed by the stream and the subsequent Call of Duty blog post, round-based zombies is back! There will be two maps at launch named Terminus and Liberty Falls. The Dark Aether storyline that began in Black Ops: Cold War will carry on in Black Ops 6 as well, giving players a narrative thread to follow as they mow down hordes of the undead.

Zombies will also feature powerful weapons, power-ups, and of course, secrets and easter eggs, just like every good COD zombies experience. We’re looking forward to seeing a deeper dive into the game mode at some point down the road, but Treyarch didn’t talk too much about it for now.

Black Ops 6 Campaign

We did, however, get a lot of juicy details regarding the game’s campaign. The story is set in the early 1990s and follows Black Ops Cold War’s narrative and characters. It also ties in directly to the flashback sequences from Black Ops 2. Much of the story will center around the ongoing Gulf War (which makes sense given the game’s rumored title prior to its reveal).

During the campaign, we’ll see the return of Frank Woods, who will act in a different role for the CIA after the events of Black Ops Cold War. Underneath his guidance is Troy Marshall, a stubborn operative who shares a lot of similarities with Woods. Both of them work with CIA handler Jane Sparrow.

After a mission gone wrong forces Woods and Marshall to go rogue, they’ll also recruit newcomers Felix Neumann and Sevati Dumas to their cause. Neumann is a tech wizard and Dumas is a dangerous assassin. Russell Adler will also see a return from Cold War, though his motivations this time around are obscured.

There’s a lot of mission variety in Black Ops 6. Players will visit locations like old sewer systems, lavish casinos, and massive Iraqi palaces. Each of these missions will feature unique gameplay built around stealth, action, and/or espionage, and they’ll feature numerous methods of completion to encourage player freedom.

In between missions, you’ll return to the Safehouse, an abandoned waterfront manor that once acted as a KGB Black Site. You’ll be able to explore this hub to find secrets, engage in target practice, and receive mission briefings. It operates similarly to Cold War’s hub, but it’s a bit more expanded this time around.

All in all, Black Ops 6 is shaping up to be a great return-to-form for Call of Duty. We’re excited to get our hands on it, and we’ll be seeing more of the game following the Call of Duty NEXT event on August 28.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 launches on October 25 for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC. It’ll also be available day one on Xbox and PC Game Pass.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle Gameplay Trailer Whips Out, Confirms 2024 Release

Bethesda has given us our first look at Indiana Jones and the Great Circle gameplay, and so far, the game seems to capture the mood of the original films.

Check out five-minute showcase reveal where we see cinematic cutscenes, exposition and gameplay!

An Intro to Adventure

From the hallowed halls of the Vatican and the sunken temples of Sukhothai to the pyramids of Egypt and the snowy peaks of the Himalayas, Indy’s latest journey will send him around the world in a race against time as he hunts down mysterious and powerful artifacts. But Indiana isn’t the only one on the trail of these artifacts. Working with Gina, Indy will face off against Voss and his men in the hunt for the secrets of these relics.

An Icy Journey

An intercepted message sends Indiana and Gina to Nepal tracking down one of the artifacts deep in the Himalayas. Their treacherous trek through the mountains leads them to a frozen battleship tucked away in the peaks. This is just one of many locations their journey will

A Battleship Showdown

Capture at the hands of Gantz spells trouble for our heroes and a fight over the stone breaks out. A fight that is quickly interrupted as the ship shakes free from its hold and begins careening down the mountainside. MachineGames are known for their love of high-stakes action and incredible set pieces, and moments like these are a good reminder that wits aren’t the only thing in Indy’s arsenal. Sometimes he’ll have to rely on his fists, whip, gun, and even the occasional grenade toss from a companion.

A Rocky Surprise

“Working with Indiana Jones makes you want to pull experiences from the wide range of set-pieces that made you go ‘Wow!’ as a kid,” says Game Director Jerk Gustafsson. “We all remember the thrill of seeing Indy’s daring and often narrow escapes, and we want to have those kinds of moments in the Great Circle as well.”

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle will be available later this year on Xbox Series X|S and PC, and day one on Game Pass.

Perfect Dark Gameplay Reveal Trailer Shows Off High-Tech Espionage Action

During today’s Xbox Games Showcase, we got our first taste of Perfect Dark gameplay, the reboot of the classic N64 shooter. The snippet showed stealth, hacking, and an all-out firefight, along with some active narration that gave us some insight into where the game is set.

You can watch the trailer below:

Here are some details from the official Xbox Wire:

Perfect Dark is a first-person secret agent thriller in a near-future world. With the blessing of the original Perfect Dark studio, Rare (not to mention some of the leads from the original titles), Team Perfect Dark has pulled inspiration from elements of the first two games, but crafted an entirely new story and universe around them for this reboot.

For previous fans and new players alike, the new game offers a fresh take on the secret agent experience, and is a great opportunity to jump into the world and character. Though fans will have moments that resonate with the history and memories of the original games, no prior knowledge is needed in this new experience.

At the widest level, Perfect Dark will be a single-player experience, with a set of missions – but with choices offered in how you complete those missions. Looking at the trailer, it’s clear that traversal and gadgets are a huge part of this – we see new parkour abilities used throughout, both for movement and combat. The developers tell me that the focus was on creating an intuitive movement system, which will let players find interesting ways to tackle their objectives. Add to that a combat system that allows for both melee and gunplay, stealth mechanics, and liberal use of gadgets, and Perfect Dark is a game that will present players with an objective, but let them figure out how they want to achieve it.

Team Perfect Dark doesn’t want this to feel like any one genre – it takes in elements of first-person shooters, immersive sims, and stealth-action, but blends them into a seamless whole. The goal is to offer a true secret agent fantasy – and letting players use their various tools and abilities in the way they want is key to this.

Perfect Dark’s near-future world has been impacted by what’s known as “The Cascade,” in which the planet has suffered from a series of environmental disasters, rendering entire regions inhospitable to human life. In the wake of the disaster, a hypercorporation known as Core Mantis steps in to create a solution known as The GEN Network, and deploys it in Cairo – restoring ecological balance and creating a freshly walled city, insulated from the hostile environment outside to become a center for technological innovation.

In its wake, other hypercorporations step in to continue that regeneration – but, as you might expect, not all is as it seems, and their motives may be less altruistic than they appear. It is key that the setting communicates a hopeful future, seeing a world with both destruction and restoration, the bleakness of the past countered with a sense of promise.

It’s into Cairo that Joanna enters. The setting was chosen to offer a counterpoint to other secret agent stories, and media at large – ancient Egypt and modern Egypt have been seen by many, but a near-future take on the country is truly something new. Cairo itself allows for a balance of deeply old and startlingly new that suits the speculative fiction at the heart of Perfect Dark.

Gadgets are a pillar of the secret agent genre. In the trailer, we get a tease of Joanna using a gadget to analyse NPC voices and create vocal “deepfakes” to trick security systems or impersonate other characters, as well as create distractions.

Gadgets can be used for misdirection and manipulation, but we also see that Joanna can use a tool to scan an NPC and learn details about them – it wouldn’t be a secret agent story without some fieldwork, and the developers tell me that parsing the world, around you will be a key part of understanding how to tackle your objectives.

With this first look at combat, it’s clear this is another aspect of player choice. In the trailer we see lethal and non-lethal weaponry, close-quarters combat, abilities that allow you to take down multiple enemies at once, and more. We can also go loud or go quiet, offering a risk-reward for both methods. Team Perfect Dark wants to create a “symphony” of mechanics, merging traversal, close-quarters-combat, gunplay, unlockable abilities, environmental elements, and gadgets into a unified experience for players.

We still have no release date for Perfect Dark, but the game looks great! We can’t wait to get our hands on it whenever it launches for Xbox Series X|S and PC.

DOOM: The Dark Ages Revealed for 2025, Coming to Xbox, PS5, and PC

Bethesda revealed DOOM: The Dark Ages today during the Xbox Games Showcase with a fiery trailer full of gory, frenetic action. The game will come to Xbox Series X|S, PC, and PS5 sometime in 2025 and will launch day-and-date on Xbox and PC Game Pass.

You can watch the action-packed reveal trailer below:

Here are some more details from the official Xbox Wire:

Stand as the unrelenting champion against evil in DOOM: The Dark Ages, a single-player action FPS epic like nothing id Software has made before. Prepare for battle in 2025 when DOOM: The Dark Ages arrives on Game Pass, Xbox Series X|S, PC and PlayStation 5.

Wage war as one man matched against Hell’s legions in a dark fantasy setting expanding the DOOM universe. Witness the origin of the Slayer’s rage and his rise from a kingdom’s last hope to Hell’s greatest fear in this pulse-pounding, cinematic prequel to DOOM (2016) and DOOM Eternal.

Go medieval on battalions of demons, made up of all-new threats as well as familiar foes reforged from DOOM’s classic bestiary. Bring their malicious forces to heel with heavy duty shooter combat in a heroic story of epic proportion, powered by the latest idTech engine.

Blast, bludgeon, bisect and break through the enemy ranks using the Slayer’s superhuman strength, lethal arsenal and unmet tenacity. Supplement your trusty Super Shotgun with The Dark Ages’ new weaponry, including the face-shattering Flail and revved-up, throwable Shield Saw.

Inspired by the original DOOM (19 93), players overcome the odds in The Dark Ages in firmly grounded, heavy-hitting clashes featuring destructible demons, vicious melee strikes and more. With the right combination of ranged bombardment & melee aggression, anyone stepping into the Slayer’s boots will make Hell quiver in theirs.

DOOM: The Dark Ages’ cosmic-scale conflict calls for the heaviest ordnance possible, and the Slayer heeds. Enter the cockpit of your Atlan – a daunting skyscraper-sized mech capable of toppling Hell’s behemoths with titanic metal fists – and reclaim the skies aboard the Slayer’s Mecha Dragon, strapped to the jaws with jet engines and overwhelming firepower.

Report: Black Ops 6 Releases Oct. 25, Will Have 16 Maps at Launch, Story Synopsis Surfaces via Xbox Store Leak

While the Call of Duty Direct show is set to kick off later today, it seems info regarding Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 has leaked, and it includes the game’s release date, which is now confirmed for October 25, 2024 on all platforms.

This time around, Microsoft themselves are to be blamed for this leak, as the Black Ops 6 Xbox Store listing went live a little bit earlier than intended. While the listing has since been pulled, the damage has been done as not only do we know the release date for BO6, but it also confirms that there will be 16 multiplayer maps available at launch. It also reveals the Black Ops 6 story synopsis as well.

CDN media

Developed by Treyarch and Raven, Black Ops 6 is a spy action thriller set in the early 90s, a period of transition and upheaval in global politics, characterized by the end of the Cold War and the rise of the United States as a single superpower. With a mind-bending narrative, and unbound by the rules of engagement, this is signature Black Ops.

The Black Ops 6 Campaign provides dynamic moment-to-moment gameplay that includes a variety of play spaces with blockbuster set pieces and action-packed moments, high-stakes heists, and cloak-and-dagger spy activity.

In a best-in-class Multiplayer experience, players will test their skills across 16 new maps at launch, including 12 core 6v6 maps and 4 Strike maps that can be played 2v2 or 6v6.

Black Ops 6 also marks the epic return of Round-Based Zombies, the fan-favorite mode where players will take down hordes of the undead in two brand-new maps at launch. Post-launch, players can look forward to even more exciting maps and groundbreaking experiences dropping into both Multiplayer and Zombies

This apparent misfire by Microsoft confirms the pre-order images that were datamined last month as well. Of course, this info was not supposed to go live until much later today when the Call of Duty Direct airs after the Xbox Games Showcase which is set to air at 10 am PT/1 pm ET.

Alongside the info, images for Black Ops 6 have surfaced as well via the game’s Steam page.

Stay tuned for a lot of Black Ops 6 coverage later and throughout the week as more news is uncovered.

Report: Alan Wake 2 The Lake House DLC to Launch in October

Following Alan Wake 2’s first DLC “Night Springs” which got a surprise release yesterday, it seems the other expansion for the game will be out in a few months’ time, as new info has surfaced stating that Alan Wake 2’s The Lake House DLC will be released in October.

This was (accidentally?) casually mentioned in a news post by IGN about Night Springs. While we already know that Alan Wake 2 will be getting two expansion DLCs per the studio’s announcement, the release window for The Lake House has not been revealed by Remedy Entertainment just yet. Even on Remedy’s own PlayStation Blog article on Night Springs that got published recently, Vida Starcevic, Senior Community Manager at Remedy, only mentioned, “Look forward to the Lake House expansion later this year” and didn’t mention the October release window.

What do we know about The Lake House DLC for Alan Wake 2?

Not a lot of info has been shared about the upcoming — and final — DLC for the game. What we do know is that players will once again play as both Alan Wake and Saga Anderson, and players will be back in Cauldron Lake.

Per the official description from Remedy, “The Lake House is a mysterious facility situated on the shores of Cauldron Lake set up by an independent government organization to conduct secret research… until something goes wrong. Explore the Lake House and embark on two separate adventures as the realities of Saga Anderson and Alan Wake collide again.”

This seems like a slip up by IGN, and we’ve contacted Remedy Entertainment on whether this release window mention by the publication is something they shouldn’t have announced yet or just guesswork. If we hear anything back, we’ll update the article with the info.

If The Lake House DLC does release in October, it does make a lot of sense, as Remedy can align its release with the game’s first year anniversary on October 27.

For those that haven’t booted Alan Wake 2 recently, a game update was pushed out alongside the Night Springs DLC and it adds Photo Mode alongside other bug fixes.

Nobody Wants to Die Releases July 17, Gameplay and First Details for the Cyber-Noir Detective Game Detailed

Critical Hit Games along with publisher PLAION has revealed our first look at “Nobody Wants to Die,” a cyber-noir detective game coming to consoles (PS5, Xbox Series X|S) and PC this July 17.

If you ever wanted Tom Cruise’s Minority Report made into a game, this might be the closest thing we’ll get, though it doesn’t seem to feature as much action or will let you stop crimes before they happen just like in the 2002 film. Watch the gameplay trailer to see what a detective in New York City in 2329 can do.

Game Description:

Nobody Wants to Die’s gameplay trailer showcases the signature investigation methods the game is built upon, highlighting the captivating mechanics players will utilize to uncover evidence and analyze clues in its enigmatic city. The trailer highlights a variety of in-game investigation tools featured in Nobody Wants to Die’s first crime scene, including a UV lamp to analyze blood splatter patterns, a hand-held x-ray that can reveal secrets laid beneath surfaces, and time manipulation techniques. Watch until the end for a glimpse at some of the investigations available later in the game.

Nobody Wants to Die Game Details:

  • In development for six years
  • Noir adventure” set in dystopian 2329 New York
  • Gamers play as James Karra, a detective in the ‘Mortality Department’ on the hunt for a serial killer targeting the city’s elite
  • People can store their consciousness in memory banks and transfer them to other bodies, basically becoming immortal
  • Interact with other characters through dialogue choices
  • Investigate crime scenes with the ‘Reconstructor’, using time manipulation and advanced tech to reconstruct events and uncovering clues about each murder
  • Investigations are ‘in-depth’: Comb through scenes for clues, examine your surroundings, use an X-ray device, UV light, etc to piece together exactly what happened

This looks to be an interesting concept, and one we can’t wait to get our hands on given it focuses on deduction more than action, which is refreshing to see nowadays.

No One Wants to Die scribbles out this July 17 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.

[Thanks, shinobi!]

Remedy Reveals How Alan Wake Keeps His Hair and Beard Shiny and Clean

Have you ever wanted to grow a beard like Alan Wake? Now you can, as Remedy Entertainment has finally revealed the secret to getting hair like Alan Wake in Alan Wake 2’s latest DLC, Night Springs.

How to Grow Hair Like Alan Wake

If you’ve played through the Night Springs expansion for Alan Wake 2, which was just released today, chances are you’re probably leaving it with more questions than answers. I know I am, as there were a bunch of weird twists and turns in this rather bizarre collection of stories. One of those stories just so happened to be centered around one of Alan Wake’s biggest fans, Rose, a waitress from the Oh Deer Diner. You might call her obsession with Alan Wake stalkerish, as she will do anything in order to win Wake’s love.

This includes venturing off to his mansion, where several items belonging to Alan Wake are, including a note containing the secret to how Alan Wake keeps his hair and beard so shiny and clean. The note reads:

HAIR/BEARD REGIMEN – TWICE A WEEK

  1. Wash thoroughly with cold water
  2. Gently pat dry with high thread count towel
  3. Brush 3x with honeycomb (bought locally at the farmer’s market)
  4. Apply shampoo to dry hair
  5. Rinse with cold water
  6. Gently pat dry with high thread count towel
  7. Condition often

GENERAL RULES

  • Never wear hats
  • Once a month, rub 3 mixed eggs (bought locally at the farmer’s market) into damp hair scalp, and beard
  • Avoid chlorine, heat, and inexperienced barbers.

Finally, the secret to growing healthy long hair and a thick beard. Sure, it’s a lot of work, but no one can deny the end result. It’s just a shame that you’ll have to part ways with your hats if you love wearing those, but that’s a sacrifice worth making if it means not going bald in the end.

Expect our review of Alan Wake 2’s Night Springs DLC to hit the site soon.
