Remnant 2 Update 1.000.006 Fires Out for Heaps of Improvements This August 8

Gunfire Games has released Remnant 2 update 1.000.006 on consoles and PC, and this brings a host of balance adjustments, performance improvements and more. Check out everything new in the official Remnant 2 patch notes for August 8.

Remnant 2 Update 1.000.006 Patch Notes | Remnant 2 August 8 Patch Notes:

Size: 1.7GB (PS5)

–Performance and Crashes-

– Initial optimizations to improve overall performance.
– Updates to improve hitching and potential crashes.
– Fixed multiple reported crash bugs.

–Quality of Life–

QOL OVERVIEW: While we still have quite a few things we are working on regarding Traits and long-term grinding (for those that wish to partake), we wanted to make a few changes in this patch to ensure players had more freedom to experiment. Players should find it much easier to Respec and they should also end up with more Scrap overall. We aren’t done here by any means, and these are not the larger changes we’ve mentioned on Discord and Reddit, but in the short term, they should help to ease the burden or reconfiguring your build and experimenting with different options.

– Increased Trait Cap by +5.
– Tome of Knowledge now grants Scrap and EXP when the player has reached Trait Cap.
– Orb of Undoing now has unlimited uses. Players can sell any extras for Scrap.
– Removed the Trait Requirement for equipping a second Archetype. Players may now slot their second Archetype as soon as they obtain / convert another Engram at Wallace.
– Removed the Scrap Cost for converting a Mysterious Item into an Engram (1000 to 0).
– Lowered the Lumenite Cost for converting a Mysterious Item into an Engram (10 to 5).
– Slightly Increased Scrap Gain from Breakables.
– Increased Scrap Gain from Regular and Rare Chests.
– Increased Scrap Gain when killing Aberrations.
– Reduced the cost of Bloodroot.

–Balance–

[ Archetypes ]

Explorer Archetype

– Increased the duration of Explorer’s Scavenger Buff per pickup from 15s to 20s.
– Increased the duration of Explorer’s Gold Digger Buffs from 15s to 20s.
– Increased the healing amount of Gold Digger Healing Fountain from 1.5 to 2.0 HP per second.

DEV NOTE: We wanted to make sure Explorer could maintain Scavenger longer between fights and give them more freedom while Gold Digger Fountains were active. We increased the durations by 5s each and boosted the Healing Fountain to be more enticing.

Archon Archetype

– Increased Archon Havoc Form Lighting Hands damage from 28 to 56.
– Increased Archon Havoc Form Blink damage from 100 to 150.
– Reduced Archon Havoc Form Cooldown from 120s to 90s.

DEV NOTE: These changes are in response to bug fix that allowed Havoc Form Lighting Hands to deal ridiculous damage. We made some overall adjustments to compensate.

Challenger Archetype

– Adjusted the damage falloff for Challenger’s Close Quarters perk. At maximum range, Challenger will always maintain a 10% damage bonus to All Damage.

Handler Archetype

– Increased the Handler’s Pack Hunter Range from 25m to 40m.
– Increased the Base Max Health of Handler’s Very Good Boy Companion.

Summoner Archetype

– Increased the Base Max Health of Summoner’s Hollow and Flyer Variants.

[ Weapons ]

– Switched Aphelion scaling to Boss/Special Damage Scaling instead of Standard.
– Increased the Fire Damage for Shatterstar (Savior Mod).
– Reduced the Fire Rate on Nightfall in Standard and Dreadwalker Fire Modes.

DEV NOTE: Nightfall was dealing far more damage than other weapons in both modes (almost 20% more w/ Dreadwalker active compared to other guns with their Mod active). When considering damage and the Mod ability (harder to hit, life siphon, and fire rate), it was pushing Nightfall too far above every other Long Gun. It now sits closer in line with other high-damage weapons.

– Reduced the AOE Burst Damage of Enigma’s Overload Application from 40 to 30.
– Reduced the Subsequent Tether Damage of Enigma Primary Fire from 75% to 65%.
– Reduced the Magazine Capacity of Enigma from 30 to 25.
– Increased the total Reserve Capacity of Enigma from 120 to 125.

DEV NOTE: Enigma was performing too far above our goal for AOE clear, so a few adjustments were made. There is still an issue with it ignoring Armor which will be addressed in the future. However, when that happens, we will reevaluate the numbers.

[ Enemies ]

– Reduced damage on Nightweaver’s grab attacks (Wall and Lunge).
– Adjusted the hitbox of Magister Dullain’s tongue attack to better match the visuals.

[ Multiplayer ]

– Reduced incoming damage in Multiplayer from 25% per additional player to 15% per player.

–Bug Fixes–

[ Progression & Rewards ]

– Fixed multiple reported crash bugs and instability issues.
– Progression Blocker: Fixed an issue that prevented players from completing the tutorial if a crash happened when interacting with Ford.
– Progression Blocker: Fixed infinite loading screen issue present for some players when selecting “Skip Tutorial” on character creation screen.
– Progression Blocker: Fixed an issue with Plasma Cutter preventing the Final Boss from transitioning into its second phase.
– Progression Blocker: Fixed Tal’Ratha boss fight lockout if game was exited during cutscene dialogue.
– Progression Blocker: Fixed the Astropath boss fight failing to start if game was exited during cutscenes.
– Addressed issue with Trait points going negative. Negative Trait points have been flipped to positive. This will also fix issues with the Second Archetype being locked out.
– Addressed issue with players not receiving trophys in multiplayer games.

DEV NOTE: This will not retroactively reward ones that should have been previously unlocked. In future patches we will look into attempting to retroactively award as many as we can, however some will likely not be able to be awarded this way and will need to be reacquired.

– Players who completed Oracle’s quilt will now receive Half Quilt award as well as Full Quit Reward if they had not previously received it.
– Fixed an issue where scripted deaths from the Bone Harvester, Empress Guards, and Red Prince caused actual deaths and ended Hardcore runs.
– Fixed an issue with Weapons not unlocking after a Hardcore playthrough.

DEV NOTE: Unfortunately, hardcore awards will not be retroactively awarded for previous completions of Hardcore mode.
– Fixed an issue with Weapons not unlocking after completing playthroughs at different difficulties.

DEV NOTE: Unfortunately, difficulty-based rewards will not be retroactively awarded for previous completions of the game.

– Players who listened to all Mudtooth’s stories but did not receive all of the rewards can visit Mudtooth to receive their rewards. Players who did not receive the Iron Cylinder (Gunslinger’s Engram) from listening to all his stories will now find it in his store.
– Fixed an issue preventing Explorer and Archon Armor from appearing on the vendor. Players will need to first convert the appropriate Mysterious Item into an Engram at Wally
– Fixed an issue preventing Mudtooth’s Elixir from appearing in his inventory. After completing the game, players will need to first unlock Explorer (Golden Compass) at Wallace.
– Fixed issues where Clementine would stand in random locations in Ward 13 after the cutscene in Blackened Citadel.
– Fix for Trophy when meeting the Flautist if co-op player was spectating at the time where the Flautist was met.
– Fixed an issue preventing Revivalist Trait from being awarded. It should now be rewarded after reviving another player 15x.

[ Archetypes ]

– Fixed an issue with Archon’s Havoc Form Lighting Hands. Casting Speed now properly ramps up the Lighting Hand without going infinite.
– Fixed an issue causing Hunter’s Focus not granting the proper Weakspot Damage Bonus
– Fixed an issue causing Hunter’s Shroud granting multiplicative damage bonus
– Fixed an issue causing Invader Perk S.H.A.R.K. to not apply its damage bonuses
-Fixed an issue with Gunslinger’s Bulletstorm Sound not terminating.
-Fixed a bug allowing Male Engineer to ignore falling transition when Overclocking.

[ Gear / Items ]

– Fixed VFX alignment for Nebula and Hellfire primary fire.
– Fixed an issue preventing Plasma Cutter from dealing the correct damage type to certain enemies.
– Fixed an issue causing Shieldbreaker Mutator to not grant the correct amount of shield.
– Nightfall Mod visual effects terminate correctly now.
– Fixed an issue allowing Dreamcatcher to trigger Dreamwave before it was properly earned.
– Fixed an issue that allowed Crystal Heart from stacking with itself.
– Fixed an issue causing Ring of Flawed Beauty not granting the proper Weakspot Damage Bonus
– Fixed issue with Anastasija’s Inspiration causing infinite damage stacking on Summoner’s Minions.
– Fixed an issue preventing some Boss & Special Melee Weapons from receiving proper scaling.
– Fixed an issue preventing Godsplitter from triggering “Was this supposed to happen?” Trophy
– Fixed an issue allowing Severed Hand to be spawned repeatedly.

[ Enemies ]

– Fixed issue with Primogenitor health bar incorrectly tracking and causing players to become stuck.
– Fixed issue with Root Knight’s puddle projectile dealing damage on hit.
– Fixed issue with Nightweaver projectiles homing in on player incorrectly.
– E.D. Alpha (Aberration) in Tower of the Unseen now respawns after player dies and re-enters the aberration room area.
– Fixed issue with Block Ruin (Labyrinth Enemy) sound effects
– Fixed issue where players could defeat the Gwendil: The Unburnt without taking any damage by standing on the stairs under the wooden bridge
– Fixed issue where killing the Many Faces (Corruptor World Boss Golem) when it’s jumping between platforms would cause it to fall off the world in The Great Bole.

[ Misc Fixes ]

– Fixed multiple locations on final level where players could get out of bounds of the level.
– Fixed issue with player’s not receiving fall damage by holding throwable consumables or melee weapons in throwing position.
– Fixed collision issue causing players to get trapped along some edges in Morrow Sanatorium.
– Fixed issue when using certain melee weapons, the character’s face distorted
– Fixed issue where Player could be locked out of Postulant’s Parlor when application was closed after playing the board game.
– Fixed issue where Player was unable to open door to Sentinel’s Keep when exiting game while inputting the Seeker’s Key in N’Erud

  • New: A small portion of Elimination bonus is exempted from bonus withholding due to mismatched MMR and LP. This value increases based on the player’s MMR.
  • Skill & Rating Bonuses have been dramatically reduced.
  • Elimination bonuses are increased slightly
    • We mentioned in our July 2023 Ranked blog that we would be bumping up the Elimination Bonus slightly. In our attempt to reduce the Master spike, we identified the need to instead reduce the overall points given within the whole system. Instead of bumping as planned, we took a different approach and reduced placement scores to make eliminations more valuable when compared to the now lowered placement score.

GAMEPLAY UPDATES

Monster Density

We are increasing monster density in Nightmare Dungeons and in Helltide.

  • Bosses above Level 60 will have more health. Examples:
    • Bosses at Level 60 and below remain unchanged.
    • Bosses at Level 80 have 50% increased health.
    • Bosses at Level 100 have 100% increased health.
    • Bosses at Level 120 have 120% increased health.
    • Bosses at Level 150 and above have 150% increased health.

Bosses and Events

Developer’s Note: We are making adjustments to the health values of high-level boss monsters.

  • Level 35 and higher boss monsters will now have a 100% chance to drop a Legendary item.
  • Treasure Goblins now have an increased Legendary item drop chance from Level 6-14 and guarantee a Legendary item drop starting at Level 15.
  • Legion Events are now more rewarding and guarantee a Legendary item drop starting at level 35.

General

  • We have made multiple improvements on how damage and other effects interact with active barriers.
    • Bonus damage or bonus effects that are applied on-hit or when dealing damage will now apply that same effect through barriers.
      • Ex: The Exploit Paragon Glyph will now apply Vulnerable to enemies that have an active barrier.
    • Cheat death effects will now work properly when the player has an active barrier.
    • This also affects PvP play.
    • Varshan will now break through any Bone Wall segments he dashes through.
    • The cost for refunding Skill and Paragon Points has been reduced. The reduction starts small at lower Levels and hits a maximum of 40% at Level 100.
      • Ex: Level 50 – 12%, Level 60 – 18%, Level 70 – 24%, Level 80 – 30%.
    • We’ve increased the stack limit for Elixirs from 20 to 99.
    • An additional Stash Tab can now be purchased at the Stash with gold.
    • We have restored the cast time for Leave Dungeon back to 3 seconds.

Developer’s Note: Leave Dungeon ability was being used as another method of easy escape from danger in dungeons, particularly for Hardcore players. However, we recognize that this is outweighed by the downside of the game feeling less responsive. We’ve heard your feedback, and are reversing this change.

Malignant Hearts

  • Caged Heart of Spellbreaking
    • Changed to: Upon taking Elemental Damage, gain 10-20% Damage Reduction for 5 seconds.

Generic Unique Items

  • Temerity
    • + All Stats affix replaced with Max Life.
    • Barrier is now based on maximum Life.
    • Now properly accounted by conditions checking for the player having a Barrier.

  • Fixed an issue where the Determination malignant power wouldn’t function against the Resource Burn affix for Nightmare Dungeons.

  • Fixed an issue where players could leave their Party after dying in a Nightmare dungeon, re-enter their party, and then re-enter the dungeon and not have their revives count towards the Dungeon’s revive cap.
  • Fixed an issue where Animus carriers killed before the Animus objective was triggered would not drop Animus, blocking dungeon progression.
  • Fixed an issue where the Reset Dungeon button often malfunctioned.
  • Fixed an issue where Keeper Xor’lim sometimes would not drop Garan’s Key in the Garan Hold Nightmare Dungeon.

Gameplay

  • Fixed an issue where Charge didn’t carry all enemies hit along with the Barbarian.

  • Fixed an issue where guaranteed Overpower attacks from the Rathma’s Vigor key passive were not benefiting from the Paragon Legendary Node Bloodbath.
  • Fixed an issue where the automatic Corpse Explosion casts from the Sacrilegious malignant power could ignore the damage reducing effect from the power when using unenhanced Corpse Explosion.
  • Fixed an issue where the Untimely Death aspect only increased Overpower damage on the Blood Lance that was cast and not other lanced targets.
  • Fixed an issue where when the Decrepit Aura Malignant Power was equipped twice, the power with the lowest number of near enemies required to activate was not the one that would trigger.

Rogue

  • Fixed an issue where Poison Trap could be infinitely cast without spending Energy by using the Concealment skill near zone transition areas.
  • Fixed an issue where the Shadow clone’s taunt effect from the Trickery malignant power could Taunt other players in PvP, and the taunt was not breakable by Unstoppable effects.

Sorcerer

  • Fixed an issue where the Elemental Dominance passive didn’t function correctly when using Core and Mastery skills that dealt Damage over Time.
    • Ex: A meteor cast at above 50 mana that would take you under 50 mana would not get the full damage bonus.
  • Fixed an issue where the Omnipower Malignant Power wouldn’t properly consume additional mana, which would then not trigger other interactions with additional resource consumption.
    • Ex: the damage reduction from the Mana Shield passive.
  • Fixed an issue where the Omnipower malignant power was inconsistently launching the appropriate number of projectiles. In addition, the tooltip has been updated to better describe the power.

Developer’s Note: The previous tooltip was a bit misleading as it did not consume the entirety of your mana pool. It will consume as much as it can depending on the number rolled on the affix.

  • Fixed an issue where the effects from the Dark Dance malignant power would reset the Align the Elements passive.
  • Fixed an issue where the random location teleport effect from The Oculus could cause players to get stuck in the environment.

CLASS BALANCE UPDATES

Hello wanderer, welcome to Patch 1.1.1!

We’ve made quite a few balance adjustments to Classes. Our goals with this patch are as follows:

    • Sorcerer

  • Fixed an issue where progression in the Final Straw quest could be blocked during Co-op play.
  • Fixed an issue where only the first player could activate Points of Interest during Co-op play.

  • Fixed an issue where follower NPCs could not function properly in scenarios where players were mounted during Local Co-Op play.
  • Fixed an issue where the quest progress tracker of other players wouldn’t display properly in certain situations during Local Co-Op play.
  • Fixed an issue where the Season Info would not properly display when Player 2 created a new character during Local Co-Op play.
  • Fixed an issue where a player engaged in conversation with an NPC would see a black screen if another player in their party teleported away.

Dungeons

  • Fixed an issue where progression in the Seaside Decent Dungeon could be blocked when the Butcher or a Treasure Goblin spawned behind the barrier.
  • Fixed an issue where the Determination malignant power wouldn’t function against the Resource Burn affix for Nightmare Dungeons.
  • Fixed an issue where the Resource Burn affix for Nightmare Dungeons was applying from close enemies and not just distant enemies.
  • Fixed an issue where the Boss in the Den of the Blighted could be damaged through the fog wall.
  • Critters, non-combative creatures,in Nightmare Dungeons with the Death Pulse affix will no longer explode on death (this explosion was never dealing damage).

Gameplay

Barbarian

  • Fixed an issue where Charge didn’t carry all enemies hit along with the Barbarian.

  • Fixed an issue where Call of the Wild and Aspect of the Stampede were not properly affecting the passive portions of Companion skills and the active portion of Wolves.

Necromancer

  • Fixed an issue that caused more Blood Orbs than intended to be active at the same time. Blood Orbs now function like Crackling Energy in that they cap at 30.
  • Fixed an issue where shields held by a Necromancer would cover their face in loading screens. Fixed an issue where the Necromancer’s Imperfectly Balanced passive could only have 1 point allocated to it.
  • Fixed an issue where the Decrepit Aura malignant power wouldn’t trigger when mounted.

Release Notes

Content and Environment

General

  • The Narbondellyn mission “Major Key” should no longer fail to progress in groups.
  • The “Web of Lolth” mission now properly states it requires 5 players instead of 10.
  • The dual bosses in the Acquistion’s Incorporated “Renaer’s Salvation” mission each deal less damage now.
  • The Red Wizard of Thay in the Neverdeath Graveyard mission “The Missing Doomguides” has had his abilities to summon undead diminished slightly. He also has a few less guards in his ritual chamber.

Demonweb Pits (Dungeon – Master)

  • The achievement “Really Mighty Party” should now be granted correctly.

Heroic Encounters

  • The Proto Engine and Arcane Chaos will now properly display time remaining when moused over in the map.

Infernal Citadel

  • Parties that get separated during the Abyss portion of the Hall of Chains should no longer get stuck trying to corral.
  • Collision has been added to stop particularly mobile adventurers from skipping portions of the dungeon.
  • Sub-objectives have been added to the Hall of Chains to make it clearer what the party should be doing, and the mission now requires actually clearing all portals and gas spores.
  • Players should no longer be forced into combat in one specific portion of the Hall of Chains.
  • Minor damage and health adjustments throughout the dungeon.
  • Reduced damage on the Glabrezu gifted power ‘Pincher Attack’.
  • Greatly increased gas spore poison damage reduction on the Balor gifted power ‘Fire Aura’.
  • The overall difficulty of the Infernal Citadel Dungeon has been reduced.

Manycoins Bank Heist Skirmish

  • Warlocks and Conquerors will now actually use and deal damage with their powers (they dealt little or zero damage previously)
  • Assassins, Wizards, and Shieldbearers have had all of their damage outputs decreased to offset the fixes to Warlocks and Conquerors.
  • Rust Monster ‘Shred Dust’ ground hazard deals substantially less damage game-wide, as it was very hard for melee players to counterplay.
  • The overall difficulty of Manycoins Bank Heist has been additionally reduced. Enemies should generally be easier to dispatch and output less damage.
  • Dev Note: We hope Manycoins Bank Heist feels more consistent as a result of these changes, and, generally just easier. We will continue monitoring Success Rates for this Skirmish and hope to see an increase after these latest changes.

Items and Economy

General

  • The Thrall of Zuggtmoy fashion set will no longer clip player extremities and eat the face off Dragonborns.
  • Fey Longbow can now be upgraded past Uncommon (Green) after being restored.

Demonweb Store

  • The Mystic Bolt Artifact set should now properly bind on pickup when characters are seeking to purchase the artifact pieces from the Campaign Store, rather than being bind on equip.
    • The change on the purchase binding should only affect future bought artifacts, and characters can still earn the artifacts from their original earned sources as needed.
  • The Realm Engine Core Artifact set is now purchasable in the Demonweb Campaign Store.

Menzoberranzan Store

  • The Eye of Odran Artifact set should now properly bind on pickup when characters are seeking to purchase the artifact pieces from the Campaign Store, rather than being bind on equip.
    • The change on the purchase binding should only affect future bought artifacts, and characters can still earn the artifacts from their original earned sources as needed.

Rewards

  • Drop rates on Master Abyssal Gear have been increased.
  • Chaos Between Realms Battle Pass: In the Engine of Change campaign within the Chaos Between Realms Battle Pass, the third Premium Task reward is now the Epic Collar Upgrade Progress Pack.
    • This pack gives an account-bound Epic Mount Collar Choice Pack, 75 Insignia Powder, and 5 Shards of Greater Empowerment.
    • Previously, this Premium Task reward only gave the Epic Mount Collar Choice Pack. However, player feedback noted that this was egregiously low-value compared to player expectations. This change should add reasonable value to the pack, while maintaining the previous reward, in case the Epic Mount Collar Choice Pack was a factor in some players’ choices to unlock Premium Tasks for this Battle Pass.

Dead by Daylight: Alien Crossover Releases Aug. 29, Trailer and PTB Patch Notes Reveal Abilities and More

Announced last week, Behaviour Interactive has today confirmed that the Dead by Daylight: Alien crossover release date is August 29! In addition to that, players can download the Public Test Build of it starting today!

As one might expect, the Xenomorph is the latest Killer about to join the Dead by Daylight roster. There’s also a new Survivor in tow and that’s none other than Ellen Ripley! The new level will be the Nostromo Wreckage, which will allow fans to go to the depths of space for this upcoming chapter.

Read on for the new trailer alongside the PTB patch notes for the Dead by Daylight and Alien crossover.

Important

  • Progress & save data information has been copied from the Live game to our PTB servers on July 31st, 2023. Please note that players will be able to progress for the duration of the PTB, but none of that progress will make it back to the Live version of the game.

Content

New Killer – The Xenomorph

Killer Power

Hidden Pursuit

A series of tunnels become available on the map when the Xenomorph is in play. By accessing a Control Station, it can enter these tunnels to quickly move around the map, detect the presence of nearby Survivors, and speed up the cooldown time of its Runner Mode ability. Exiting a Control Station tags nearby Survivors with Killer Instinct.

Special Ability: Runner Mode

The Xenomorph enters Runner Mode automatically when not on cooldown. In Runner Mode, the Xenomorph walks on four legs and becomes stealthier, reducing its Terror Radius. While in Runner Mode the Xenomorph also has access to a brutal Tail Attack.

Map Feature: Control Stations

Seven Control Stations are scattered across the map. Survivors can interact with these stations to get a Remote Flame Turret, while the Xenomorph can enter and exit the tunnels underneath the Control Stations.

Special Item: Remote Flame Turret

Turrets can be placed in the map to counteract the Xenomorph. When the Xenomorph enters the radius and line of sight of a Turret, the Turret attacks; this attack staggers the Xenomorph and will cause Runner Mode to end. If a Turret successfully knocks the Xenomorph out of Runner Mode or fires for too long, it overheats, and must be repaired by a Survivor. The Xenomorph can attack Turrets to destroy them.

Perks

  • Ultimate Weapon
  • When you open a locker, this perk activates for 30 seconds. Survivors entering your Terror Radius scream and reveal their position and gain Blindness for 30 seconds. This perk then goes on cooldown for 40/35/30 seconds.
  • Rapid Brutality
  • You can no longer gain Bloodlust. Hitting a Survivor with a basic attack gives you 5% haste for 8/9/10 seconds.
  • Alien Instinct
  • This perk activates when you hook a Survivor. You see the aura of the farthest injured Survivor for 5 seconds and that Survivor is oblivious for 16/18/20 seconds.

New Survivor – Ellen Ripley

Perks

  • Lucky Star
  • When you hide in a locker, this perk activates. You leave no pools of blood and make no grunts of pain for 10 seconds. When you exit the locker, you see other survivors and the closest generator’s aura in yellow for 10 seconds. This perk then goes on cooldown for 40/35/30 seconds.
  • Chemical Trap
  • After completing 70%/60%/50% progress on any generator, this perk activates. While standing next to a dropped pallet, press the Active Ability Button 2 to install a Trap, which stays active for 100/110/120 seconds. The aura of trapped pallets are revealed in yellow to all Survivors. When the Killer performs the break action on the trapped pallet, the trap explodes, and they are slowed by 50% for 4 seconds.
  • Light Footed
  • When you are healthy, this perk activates. Your running footsteps are silent. This perk goes on cool-down for 28/24/20 seconds after doing a rushed action.

New Map – Nostromo Wreckage

Explore the mysterious crash site of the iconic Nostromo. Visit landmarks familiar to the fans of the Alien franchise, in a unique setting where you will find yourself chased in and out of the ship. Run the Killer around the shuttle that brought Ripley to the world of the Entity. Navigate through the alien landscape, and you may yet escape from the remains of the wrecks.

Killer Tweaks

  • The Knight
    • Pillaged Mead – Decreases the amount of time it takes for a Guard to complete their Order action by 15% (was 25%).
    • Tattered Tabbard – Increases Patrol time for all Guards by 8 seconds (was 6 seconds).
    • Town Watch’s Torch – When Survivors escape Guard Hunts without being hit two times (was 3 times), The Knight gains Undetectable Status for 25 seconds.
  • The Demogorgon
    • Killer Power – Undetectable after teleport lasts 5 seconds (was 3 seconds).
    • Rat Tail – Increases speed of opening a Portal by 50% (was 35%).
    • Unknown Egg – Decreases the cooldown after traversing the Upside Down by 2.5 seconds (was 1.5 seconds).
    • Violet Waxcap – Increases the duration of the Undetectable effect gained when emerging from a Portal by 1 second (was 0.5 seconds).
    • Leprose Lichen – Reveals the auras of all Survivors while traversing the Upside Down. After emerging from a Portal, the auras of all Survivors within 16 meters of an active Portal are revealed for 3 seconds.

Features

  • New setting to toggle VSync on and off.
  • New setting to change the FPS limit.

  • Setting for resolution option update.

Bug Fixes

Bots

  • Bots are now more likely to be productive within the Terror Radius.
  • Bots’ behaviour has improved when facing Killer sidekicks, such as The Nemesis’ Zombies or The Knight’s Guards.
  • Bots no longer attempt to confuse the Killer by crouch-walking during a chase.

  • Reverse Bear Traps no longer cause Bots to freeze when the Exit Gates are opened.

Perks

  • The Blast Mine notification no longer appears after a delay.
  • The Play with your Food cooldown no longer shows in the HUD when undetectable.

Platforms

  • Steam experiencing a network issue will no longer cancel an existing lobby.

UI

  • The “Match Found” message will no longer appear during matchmaking. Instead, the UI will go from “Searching for Match” directly into “Joining Match”.
  • Display the remaining time when hovering the mouse on the store character item.
  • Fixed an issue where Bot Loadout slots greyed out when nothing equipped.

Misc

  • Fixed an issue where the wrong killer’s power could appear in the Loadout menu, preventing equipping Add-ons.
  • Disconnected players can no longer spectate the game they disconnected from.

Once the actual patch is live to everyone, we’ll be sure to let our readers know.
