Battlefield 2042: DICE “Committed” to Continuing Support Beyond Season 5, More News in the “Coming Months”

Battlefield 2042 Update 1.48

In today’s Battlefield 2042 Development Update for Season 5 (which runs through the same info we posted last week), DICE sprung a surprise, as the studio confirmed that Battlefield 2042 support is indeed incoming beyond Season 5!

Note that while the video shown today was the same one we saw at a BF2042 press event for Season 5, DICE did end up having one surprise, as they also included a different ending to the video, confirming what many of us had wondered, and that’s that Battlefield 2042 support will continue post Season 5.

Longer term, we’re continuing to work on the game beyond Season 5. We’re committed to continuing the Battlefield™ 2042 journey and are working through the best ways to bring
new content and experiences for you all. Expect to hear more from us on what’s planned in the coming months.

You can hear about the post-Season 5 stuff at around the 7:25 mark.

While there’s no timeframe when we’ll get to hear about this new slate of content post-Season 5, the fact that it has been confirmed by the studio is very welcome news to many BF2042 players.

Chances are, we’ll be getting new maps, new weapons and possibly new modes in whatever comes after Season 5. Once we know more info about that, we’ll be sure to share that news to our readers.

Battlefield 2042 Season 5 launches this June 7.

Every day we experience more hackers. There was not much fun compared to other Battlefield experiences. With this trainwreck called 2042 (updates and still fail) its becoming a freakin horror show for players who have/had real skills and previews experiences.

Fix that.

Fix the bullets that fly trough mountainbike, rocks, building, containers.
Who ever is responsible for developing creating and releasing this dissaster.
Fix this crap. You backstage a whole community and atill do..

No clan tags.
Nobody speaks anymore with or to eachother.

Its a wannbee solo superheroe crap game for kids. And regardless Who you are after a while this crap is as boring as hell.
