Battlefield V gamescom Embargo Now Set for Tomorrow Due to Florida Incident (Update)

YouTuber Westie has mentioned that the Battlefield V embargo has been pushed back yet another 24 hours due to the Florida shooting incident.

While we reported a few days ago that the Battlefield V gamescom embargo would lift later today, EA has held off on the embargo lift due to the unfortunate incident that happened in the Madden tournament in Jacksonville, Florida. The embargo is now set to lift tomorrow, August 28.

This was confirmed by a slew of YouTube content creators over on Twitter.

In case you can’t read the text, here’s what it says:

As a result of the unfortunate events in Jacksonville yesterday, we’ve been asked to respectfully delay releasing our rotterdam footage till tomorrow due to the sensitivity of the matter and out of respect for those affected. I hope you all understand the decision.

Whilst you may still see some footage go up from people who did not get the memo in time, I will not be posting anything and you will notice that all EA accounts will likely remain dark. Please keep those affected in your thoughts today.
