Collectible Fallout 76 Helmet Recall Issued Due to Mold Exposure

fallout 76 helmet recall

If you’re one of the people who bought the special edition of Fallout 76 to get the real-life Power Armor helmet, you might want to read this. It seems the CPSC (United States Consumer Product Safety Commission) has issued a Fallout 76 helmet recall due to mold exposure!

Over on the CPSC’s site, it states that the “hazard” is as follows:

Mold can be present on the fabric insert inside the helmet, posing a risk of respiratory or other infections in individuals with compromised immune systems, damaged lungs or an allergy to mold.

The “remedy” recommended is for a refund, and their data states there are about 20,000 of these units out in the wild.

While the game seems to be improving after a rather disastrous launch, it still can’t catch a break — especially after considering the whole canvas bag controversy that happened around launch.

This game can’t catch a break. Started playing maybe 2 weeks ago. I’m enjoying it but it needs work.
