While the (internal use only) Battlefield 2021 reveal trailer is making the rounds, it’s a bit confusing as to why EA hasn’t released anything just yet. Well, one fan took it upon themselves to show what a good teaser for the game would look like, and I have to admit, it’s just what fans might be looking for in terms of building hype.

Reddit user GreenyMyMan crafted this short “teaser” for Battlefield 2021, that features a countdown and a rocket, and ending with “Battlefield” logo — just the perfect length for a tease and all.

Now if only EA pushed something out like this, and not just “soon,” no? But what do I know? I’m not a multi-billion dollar corporation with a huge marketing team.

In other Battlefield 6 (or whatever this year’s Battlefield game is titled) news, EA calls it a “relaunch” of the franchise, and will “unbelievable player counts.” The upcoming shooter which will be revealed this June, has also been confirmed to be coming to both last-gen (PS4, Xbox One) and current-gen consoles

If fans have to hype it up, I have my worries. Current fans have been cheering on several successively worse games for a while. They really ought to just show us what’s up and be plain about it.

It would have to be some trailer. I will never be touching some garbage EA, garbage Frostbite engine, garbage 90% online focused game. Nope, can’t do it, not even going to watch the video lol.
