Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone Update 1.57 COD HQ APP Changes

Greater File Control: Keep the titles and individual modes that you’re currently playing and uninstall the rest to free up storage space.

With Black Ops 6 on the way, Call of Duty will take up more space on your device if you choose to keep all of your previous content installed since a new game is being added on top of your existing files.

Prepare for the Black Ops 6 download and future Call of Duty updates by actively managing what you have installed. To free up additional space, you can remove content that you’re no longer playing, including full titles and individual modes (e.g. uninstalling single player once you’ve finished the Campaign).

Players can uninstall content within the Call of Duty user interface or via their platform’s install manager. After content is removed, you can reinstall it at any point if you wish to return to those games or modes in the future.

Players will be able to take a tour of the new Call of Duty on October 21 after downloading the pre-launch update.

Meet the New UI: Access featured titles and modes on your Home page, previous titles under All Games, and the latest purchasable content under Store.

At launch, the new interface will include three main hubs: Home, All Games, and Store. Each hub displays all of its content on one page, eliminating the need to scroll. Here’s a rundown of what you’ll find in each section.

Home

The new UI features a landing page that brings together a variety of Call of Duty content. The Home tab showcases various tiles which each serve different purposes:

  • Game Tiles – Unlike the previous Call of Duty UI, players will now be able to directly access games, which have their own self-contained user interfaces. The newest annual title – Black Ops 6 starting on October 25 – and Call of Duty: Warzone will be shown on the Home tab. Other games are accessible via the All Games tab.
  • Featured Tile – This tile can showcase a variety of top content such as modes, maps, and Battle Passes depending on what is new and most relevant at the time.
  • What’s Hot Row – Similar to today’s What’s Hot row, these tiles highlight new playlists, bundles, etc. and give players easy access to that content.
  • Last Played Tile – This tile gives players quick access to what they played most recently. When you first log in to the new interface, this tile will be a fourth What’s Hot option until you’ve played a game within the UI

Depending on your preference, you can access game content through both the Game Tiles and any modes or playlists that are elevated to the Featured Tile or What’s Hot Row.

All Games

Cycle to the All Games tab to view your full library of Call of Duty titles dating back to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare® (2019). Cross-launch into owned titles, purchase unowned titles, and manage your installations from here.

Store

This tab will give players a path to access the Call of Duty in-game stores and showcase any other top purchasable content. The full Call of Duty in-game stores will be accessible at the game-level of the UI within Black Ops 6, Call of Duty: Warzone, etc. This tab sends players to those full stores.

New COD UI Phases

Phase 1: Pre-Black Ops 6 Launch (October 21 – October 24)

Initially, there will be a transition period from October 21 through 24 when the new UI goes live before Black Ops 6 launches.

During these few days, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III and Call of Duty: Warzone will be the primary Game Tiles on the Home tab and players will cross-launch into those games. Modern Warfare III will retain its legacy UI. Call of Duty: Warzone will retain its legacy UI until the Season 01 update.

The Store tab will direct players into the full Modern Warfare III and Call of DutyWarzone in-game stores via cross-launch.

Phase 2: Post-Black Ops 6 Launch (October 25 – )

When Black Ops 6 launches, it will replace Modern Warfare III, making Black Ops 6 and Call of Duty: Warzone the primary Game Tiles on the Home tab. Players will be able to instantly access Black Ops 6 and cross-launch into Call of Duty: Warzone.

Players who wish to continue playing Modern Warfare III can access it via cross-launch on the All Games tab or the Last Played Tile if that’s the content you’ve played most recently.

For players who have purchased Black Ops 6, the Store tab will now direct you to the full Black Ops 6 in-game store.

Black Ops 6 will have its own individual user interface designed to easily get players into the modes and content they want to play. Players can access Campaign, Multiplayer, and Zombies from the Black Ops 6 game UI. Look out for new updates to the gunsmith, playlist selection, and social showcase within Black Ops 6!

Phase 3: Season 01

When Season 01 begins, the UI will enter its fully realized state. Black Ops 6 and Call of Duty: Warzone will continue to be the primary Game Tiles on the Home tab and players will be able to instantly access both Black Ops 6 and Call of Duty: Warzone for a faster, more direct path to gameplay.

The Store tab will now direct all players to the full Black Ops 6 and Call of Duty: Warzone in-game stores based on what you have installed.

A Battle Pass tab will be introduced in Season 01 with similar functionality as the Store tab, directing players to the full Battle Pass within Black Ops 6 or Call of Duty: Warzone.

With the Season 01 update, Call of Duty: Warzone will also have its own individual user interface with improvements similar to the Black Ops 6 UI.

Changes to Features and Settings Management

Players will be able to manage some global settings at the top Call of Duty level of the UI that apply to all games. Settings in this bucket will be automatically imported from your previous title.

Other settings that are more game-specific can be managed at the individual title levels of the UI (e.g. gameplay settings related to new mechanics like Omnimovement). Settings at this level will not be automatically imported from prior games.

If we do get a changelog affecting gameplay, we’ll add it to the article.

Horizon Forbidden West Update 1.029 Pushed Out by Guerrilla

Guerrilla Games has released Horizon Forbidden West update 1.029 on PS5 today (nope, PS4 did not get an update — we checked), and this is an unannounced patch for the action-adventure game. Don’t expect any new content from this given there was no previous announcement.

What’s New in Horizon Forbidden West Update 1.029:

Download Size: 1GB

Oddly enough, Guerrilla has not released any patch notes just yet. Usually, the studio releases the changelog within a few minutes of the patch going out. Our take? This is for the PS5 Pro performance patch, which is coming to a lot of games. Of course, there is a chance this patch is related to the upcoming Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered out next week, though there doesn’t seem to be any logic why this game would have a patch for its predecessor.

Hopefully, this patch also brings with it bug fixes, as the game still has a few bugs even if it has gotten a good number of updates since release. We’re checking to see what’s been fixed, and if we spot anything, or if the community spots something, we’ll update the article with the info.

Report: Next Game from Hazelight Studios to Be Called “Split Fiction”

Last week, Hazelight Studios’ founder Josef Fares teased their next project on social media, hinting at the title of the upcoming game while suggesting it will once again focus on cooperative gameplay. Now, Dealabs has revealed further details and confirmed the game’s title as Split Fiction.

According to the ever-reliable billbil-kun, Split Fiction will incorporate a new mechanic tied to the use of split-screen or shared-screen modes. But it’s not just any split-screen. The game will implement dynamic screen-sharing, with the screen dividing vertically, horizontally, or even obliquely, depending on the gameplay situation.

This hint posted by Hazelight studio could indicate the presence of dynamic screen sharing in their new game Split Fiction (Credit: Dealabs)

Hazelight Studios has been working on Split Fiction for at least two years, and it will be released under Electronic Arts’ EA Originals label, just like A Way Out and It Takes Two. Billbil-kun also suggests we might get an official announcement in November 2024, which would line up with Hazelight’s tenth anniversary. However, whether we’ll get a release window or just more gameplay insights remains uncertain.

In related news, It Takes Two has been a massive hit, selling over 20 million copies worldwide. This sets a high bar for Split Fiction. Whether the new game can meet these expectations and continue the studio’s streak of innovative co-op experiences remains to be seen.

As always, it’s wise to take rumors with a grain of salt until official confirmation arrives. If the rumors hold true, we might hear more about this exciting title soon given the teases.

No patch notes are available yet, but according to PC players, it adds the Scene Occlusion setting. We’re hoping that the patch fixes some of the game’s stuttering issues happening on both versions as well. In addition to that, we’ve also experienced a bug on the PS5 version where you can sometimes get stuck in an environment when an enemy dies near a unmovable object near where James is.

Once the official patch notes are out, we’ll add it to the article, so refresh this from time to time.

Report: Black Ops 6 Kuwait Ban Reason Mentions Saddam Hussein Portrayed in a “Heroic Image” and More

The State of Kuwait has officially banned Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 from being sold and played in the country. The announcement came a few days ago, but the reasons behind the ban were not immediately clear. Now, new details have emerged explaining why Kuwait decided to ban the game.

Why Is Black Ops 6 Banned in Kuwait?

In a post on X, a user named CANCEL revealed the reasons behind the ban. According to CANCEL, the Kuwaiti authorities were concerned about how the game shows the Gulf War, which is a sensitive topic in the country. The specific reasons shared include the presence of the Kuwait war in general, scenes of burning Kuwaiti oil wells, and representations of characters in ways that upset the Kuwaiti side. CANCEL also mentioned that Saddam Hussein is portrayed “in a heroic image,” which further contributed to the ban.

These details came to light after authorities in Kuwait reviewed the game. According to CANCEL, they tested the game’s story mode and found parts that caused concern. The decision to ban Black Ops 6 was made because of the four main issues CANCEL mentioned.

Activision, the publisher of the Call of Duty series, reportedly tried to contact Kuwaiti officials to talk about possible changes to the game. However, according to the same source, they haven’t received any reply to their request for a meeting.

Kuwait is the first country to ban Black Ops 6, but it’s unclear if others will follow. The game’s portrayal of the Gulf War could also raise concerns in other Middle Eastern countries, especially with its detailed focus on events like the invasion of Kuwait and the burning of oil wells during that conflict.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will be available on October 25 for the PS4, Xbox One, PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.

Atomfall Gameplay Released With Exciting First Look at the World

Rebellion has just released the first-ever deep dive video for Atomfall. The video breaks down many of the game’s core mechanics and provides a fresh look into the world that we’ll be exploring when the game releases.

Atomfall Gameplay Deep Dive

About Atomfall:

Opening in the style of a classic 1950s news reel, this latest trailer offers a closer look at Atomfall’s setting in the North of England. Atomfall is inspired by the real-life events of the 1957 Windscale disaster and the story picks up five years later in a fictionalised quarantine zone that encompasses rolling countryside, valleys, caves and even a picturesque English village.

But this picture-perfect postcard setting is a hostile landscape that hides a dark mystery. To get to the bottom of what happened at Windscale, you will need to navigate military encampments, delve through abandoned bunkers below ground, and risk your life in Pagan ruins. Your trusty metal detector will also help you uncover a few secrets buried beneath the surface!

Central to the dark mystery are the host of eccentric characters and cryptic organisations that inhabit the quarantine zone. These individuals have been cut off from the outside world for years and left to their own devices, so are anything but normal. Your interactions with them are important and will shape your journey. But be careful, they aren’t all friendly and you will need to get to grips with an array of ranged and melee weapons if you are to survive.

Based on the footage above, inspiration is definitely being taken from both the Bioshock and Fallout franchises. Let us hope that it plays and looks just as good as when it releases because it does look really good, and personally, I wouldn’t be against having more Fallout-esque titles.

Atomfall is slated to release in March 2025 for the Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Windows PC, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, and PlayStation 4. It’ll also be included on Xbox Game Pass day one for subscribers.

A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead Review – We’re Here

It’s spooky season and we’re all on the lookout for a great horror game. While Silent Hill 2 is deservedly taking up a lot of that attention, perhaps there’s another new game that’s worth your spooky time. A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead, the latest hide-and-seek horror game from Remothered developers, Stormind Games manages to be one of the better horror games of 2024.

A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead places you into the world of the blockbuster horror series, mostly set some four months after the initial invasion of the aliens. Alex, the character you’ll control, learns she’s carrying Martin’s child. Under any normal circumstances, this would be cause to celebrate, but babies make a lot of noise, and in this world, noise gets you killed. So Alex must sneak her way to a safe location before giving birth. Making the task more difficult are the complications of each character’s relationship with each other. Martin’s mother, Laura, who, following some mysterious events, hates Alex and only puts up with her because her son loves her. Alex’s father, Kenneth, is also around to help guide Alex on her journey.

Character Personality Trait +1

The characters are what really make A Quiet Place’s story work. Each character feels fully fleshed out, with believable back stories that have impacted their view, not only of the apocalyptic situation they find themselves in, but of each other. Villains, if you can call them that, aren’t mustache-twirling psychopaths. Instead, they’re layered with motivation and morality hang ups, and this is true not only of the writing, but the voice performances as well.

Navigating the world of A Quiet Place requires you to do so stealthily. Movement is slow. Almost painfully slow, but considering the subject matter and the near-constant threat of the monsters, it does a lot for increasing the tension. Everything must be done methodically. Opening doors, drawers, and walking all are done by barely leaning the stick forward. I played on PS5 and I would imagine this is going to cause some issues with a mouse and keyboard, where typically movement is either sprint, run, or walk. Just walking doesn’t really cut it.

You’re tasked with moving ever so slowly, while watching out for things that can increase the volume of your movement. You’ll be avoiding puddles, leaves, and broken glass and approaching one of these is a really effective way of adding tension to an already tense situation. A Quiet Place even implements a clever gimmick that listens for loud noises in your room using the DualSense’s built in microphone. Admittedly though, I kept this featured turned off outside of testing (I’ve got dogs and a toddler…).

Layered on top of this, Alex suffers from asthma, which kicks in while overexerting herself, crawling through dusty warehouses, and finding herself face-to-face with the monsters. If Alex’s asthma gets too bad, she’ll have an asthma attack, which forces you to complete a QTE to keep things under control. Luckily, you’ll find tons inhalers around the world, as well as conveniently placed pill bottles that help alleviate symptoms. This overly-gaminess stretches out into level design as well. See, littered around the world are things that Alex can run into and kick, but not everything she runs into will make noise – just the ones covered in red paint. Similarly, if Alex can mantle or drop down off of a ledge, it’s been conveniently painted yellow. While I can understand why this is implemented (it is a game after all), I cant help be feel it detracts from the immersion that is otherwise really well handled.

This all leads to A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead’s greatest issue… it’s just too easy on the normal difficulty. Alex creates a tool early in the game which measures the noise she makes compared to the ambient noise. Certain places are louder than others, but overall simply moving slowly is enough keep your volume down, even in the aforementioned puddles and glass. It’s always very clear where you’re supposed to be headed. All of the hand-holding ultimately really detracts from how scary the game is. A good horror game makes you feel helpless. Consider the opening hours of Resident Evil 7, when you’re being stalked by Jack Baker. Finding your way around the house is difficult. You get to points that are blocked and have to backtrack to find keys or parts to a puzzle. There’s almost nothing like that in A Quiet Place. You’ll find dead ends, sure, but getting past them typically means just looking for an opening nearby. And that opening always leads to the solution. The fact that there’s a big, scary monster lurking somewhere nearby doesn’t really impact the situation because usually you can just not move and it won’t bother with you. On rare occasion, I did find myself having to back away slowly as it approached me. Those moments were genuinely great.

Yet, despite these criticisms, I couldn’t help but press on. The story is just that good. The gameplay worked well enough to keep me engaged for the 6 hours it took to complete. I wanted to know why Laura hated Alex. I wanted to meet back up with Kenneth because he felt like a father to me. I had to keep my unborn child safe. All of this works so well. Fans of the films should find themselves right at home with A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead.

Verdict

A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead shines in its character depth and gripping story, pulling you into its apocalyptic world. Despite some immersion breaking decisions, it manages to create tense, methodical moments of stealth that kept me on edge. Fans of the film series, and horror fans in general, will likely find it to be a creepy experience worth their time.

Score: 7.5/10

Pros:

  • A gripping story, worthy of the Quiet Place name
  • Deep characters with grey motivations
  • Tense atmosphere that relies heavily upon methodical stealth

Cons:

  • Overly gamey mechanics break immersion
  • Overly easy at times.

Bloober Wants to Show What They Can Do on Their Own, Feels They Found Their Niche With Horror

Earlier this month, developer Bloober Team released the Silent Hill 2 remake, which is probably the studio’s most high-profile release, and the best reviewed as well. However, the studio isn’t done there, as they also recently revealed “Cronos: The New Dawn,” which is an entirely new game based on their own IP.

Speaking in an interview, studio director Wojciech Piejko mentioned how the studio felt the pressure when it was revealed that Bloober was the studio tasked to re-imagine Silent Hill 2, and how the negative comments did not go unnoticed. Now that’s out of the way, the studio now seeks to show gamers what they can do on their own ideas.

“It was tough for those couple of years before [Silent Hill 2’s] release, They made it. We made it. Bloober made it. And now, it’s very good spirits inside [the studio.] We want to show what we can do on our own, how we can evolve our ideas.”

In the same chat, producer Jacek Zieba  mentions how Bloober wants to be known as a “horror company,” and thinks that they found their niche with horror video games.

“We want to be a horror company. We want to find our niche, and we think we found our niche, so now we just–let’s evolve with it. […] And how that happens is more complex, but it also happens organically in a way, like with [2016’s] Layers of Fear, people in the studio were like, ‘Okay, we made some shitty games before, but we [can] evolve.”

Based on what was shown for Cronos: The New Dawn, it looks like Bloober is on the right path. Will it be as good as Silent Hill 2? We can’t say for sure, but this time around, the expectations are much, much higher, and we here at MP1st hope the studio can deliver on that when the game’s released next year.

If you’ve yet to play Silent Hill 2, go read our review of it here where we state, “Bloober Team manages to make this horror classic better in every way, and in turn become a classic of its own. Hopefully, this very promising start means we’ll see Bloober Team continue to remake the rest of the series’ games in the coming years.”

Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero Reaches 228 Million Minutes Played While on Discord, Does 3x Player Count and Time Played of Tekken 8, Mortal Kombat 1

Even in its early access period, we already know that Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero was a massive hit, as it managed to beat the Steam all-time player highs of Tekken 8 and Street Fighter 6. It seems even on social platforms, the game is raking in big numbers as well.

In a press release sent out, Discord revealed the following info highlighting how big Sparking Zero is doing on the platform stating:

Players have flocked to Discord on PC in large numbers to explore the Dragon Ball Z universe and test their skills. With over 228 million minutes played while on Discord and 78 million minutes streamed to their friends in the first three days, the excitement and engagement for Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO surpassed other fighting titles like Tekken 8, Mortal Kombat 1 and Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot in the first three day launch period by around three times the total player numbers and time played on Discord.

Given fans had to wait 17 years from Dragon Ball: Budokai Tenkaichi 3 to Sparking Zero, it’s understandable why fans of the franchise are piling on in droves. Of course, the game being a solid fighter helps a lot with that as well. Speaking of which, if you haven’t played it yet, go read our review of it here, where it’s mentioned, “With a massive character roster and high flying combat that perfectly emulates the series, Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero delivers a Kamehameha of gratification for fans of the series and is something that would have made series creator Akira Toriyama very proud.”

Metal Gear Solid Delta: David Hayter Says He’s Doing “Some Things Voice-Wise” He Can’t Talk About Yet

While Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater was originally envisioned as just a graphical upgrade, Konami is doing more than that with changes to the controls, and more. Could new dialogue be part of it? It seems that’s a possibility based on what Snake’s voice actor, David Hayter, revealed recently.

In a video interview with Malaysian publication Kakuchopurei, Hayter was asked about the in-development Metal Gear Solid remake, and how involved he is in the process. Hayter states that he is helping with promoting the game, and he is privy to some behind-the-scenes stuff that’s happening. In addition to that, Hayter mentions that there “may be some things” that he’s doing voice-wise that he can’t talk about just yet.

Well, you know from the beginning Konami and I started talking about…you know I came aboard to help do promotion, and work with them. They’ve let me in on what they’re doing behind the scenes, I got to play a little bit of the game, you know, a little a few months ago. There may be some things that I’m doing voice-wise that I can’t really talk about yet, but I’m, you know, I’m working to support the game and I’m pretty involved which is nice.

Does this mean Konami is adding new dialogue in the game? Perhaps it’s new codec conversations, which would be our best bet given it’s a bit easier to integrate into the game with less work rather than featuring new cutscenes and whatnot. That said, we’d love to be proven wrong.

You can watch the entire interview here where they talk about Hayter’s Solid Snake influences and more.

Unfortunately, there’s still no release date for Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, and given we’re already in October, chances are, the game won’t be out until sometime in 2025.

Dragon Ball Sparking Zero DLC Pack 2 Reveals Vegeta Mini and Gloria From Dragon Ball Daimi

Though the series Dragon Ball Daimi launched the same day as Dragon Ball Sparking Zero, Bandai is wasting no time in getting characters featured from the show, as Dragon Ball Sparking Zero DLC Pack 2 will be headlined by two characters featured from it.

Dragon Ball Sparking Zero Crosses Over With Dragon Ball Daima

Revealed earlier today by Bandai Namco, both Vegeta Mini (Kid Vegeta) and Gloria (an original character from the Daimi series) will be joining the expansive roster of Dragon Ballk Sparking Zero soon. Though there’s no release date for them or DLC Pack 1, the publisher did provide a short teaser, giving us a sneak peek of what they’ll look like.

Again, no release date has been confirmed yet, and for those wondering if these will be the only characters part of the second pack, they shouldn’t be, as the game is set to receive three DLC Packs, with over 20 new characters planned for it. That means that each DLC pack should feature at least 5-6 characters unless, of course, they do more than the planned three packs.

Though given that these are likely themed-based, we assume each DLC pack will feature characters from their respective movie or material. So there’s a high chance we’ll see Beast Gohan and Orange Piccolo in DLC Pack 1, with DLC Pack 2 featuring more mini versions of characters and other demons.

Hopefully, we’ll get the DLC Pack 3 reveal soon and, with it, a release date for the first pack. Fingers crossed it comes out before the year is up!

If you haven’t played the game yet, go read our review where we state, “Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero delivers a Kamehameha of gratification for fans of the series and is something that would have made series creator Akira Toriyama very proud.”

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Weapons Intel – Every Primary, Secondary, and Melee Weapons at Launch

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is out next week, and while there’s plenty to do to get yourself prepared, one thing going into the game that you should know about is all the available weapons. Lucky for you, we (and Activision) have you covered as we break down every weapon in Call of Duty Black Ops 6, including what level you can unlock them at.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Weapons Overview

Primary Weapons (25)

Your main and usually hardest-hitting weapon utilized for most of your time in combat. Expect a varied and interesting selection of weapons in each category, as well as the individual Attachments for each Primary Weapon, which are – except for some Optics – unlocked as you level each weapon up. The Gunsmith is available for all Primary Weapons. Run the Wildcard “Overkill” if you wish to equip a second Primary Weapon in the Secondary Weapon slot. Choose from:

Assault Rifles (7)
SMGs (6)
Shotguns (2)
LMGs (3)
Marksman Rifles (4)
Sniper Rifles (3)

Secondary Weapons (6)

Your back-up weapon, used in emergency or context-specific situations. These weapons are carried in addition to the Primary Weapon you pick, and more adept Operators tend to choose a Secondary Weapon that complements their Primary Weapon in some way. Running the Overkill Wildcard will allow players to equip two Primary weapons, as well. The Gunsmith is available for Secondary Weapons. Choose from:

Pistols (4)
Launchers (2)

Melee Weapons (2)

Your third weapon is a close-quarters armament with no ranged ordnance. Bring out your Melee weapon using the same key or button press as Melee (for controllers, this is the Right thumbstick). Tap this for a gun butt melee. Hold to bring out your Melee weapon, which will remain equipped until you swap back to your Primary or Secondary. There’s also the Weapon Cycle setting (accessed via Controller > Combat > Dedicated Melee Weapon Activation > Hold Melee/Weapon Cycle), which allows players to use the weapon swap button to cycle between Primary, Secondary, and Melee weapons if they so choose. The Gunsmith is available for Melee Weapons (Cosmetics only). Choose from:

Knife (1)

Baseball Bat (1)

Player Levels: Weapon Unlock Criteria

Now that you know the weapons that’ll be available in Call of Duty Black Ops 6 at launch, which one do you think you’ll be maining? I myself will probably stick with one of the assault rifles like the AK, or maybe go with the Jackal, which was the meta during the previous betas. Of course, that likely will change at launch and throughout other seasons with weapon balancing and the introduction of new weapons, but I have a good feeling it’ll still be a viable weapon at release. Otherwise, which one are you planning on using? Let us know!

Metaphor: ReFantazio Update 1.04 Patch Notes Finally Released, Adjusts Camera Shake

While the latest patch for Metaphor: ReFantazio has been available for download since yesterday, there was no word on what got changed. Thankfully, the studios has now revealed the official Metaphor: ReFantazio update 104 (PS5 version 1.004) patch notes that detail the fixes made to the RPG.

Metaphor: ReFantazio Update 1.04 Patch Notes:

1.04 – Xbox, PlayStation 4/5:

  • Adjustments made to the Camera Shake Off feature
  • Fixed an issue where New Game+ start save data wasn’t generating correctly under certain conditions
  • Other minor fixes

1.03 – PC (MSPC & Steam):

  • Anti-aliasing feature implemented. Anti-aliasing can be adjusted in SETTINGS > Graphic Settings
  • Adjustments made to the Camera Shake Off feature
  • Adjustments made to audio volume balance

Note: Today’s patch for Windows PC and Steam increases the game’s Master Volume. Please turn down your computer’s volume before starting up and readjust the in-game Master Volume setting. We apologize for the inconvenience!

  • Fixed an issue where New Game+ start save data wasn’t generating correctly under certain conditions
  • Other minor fixes

That’s about it. Hopefully, the next update will have its patch notes available ASAP.
