DICE has fired out Battlefield 2042 update 1.17 on all platforms today, and this is to add a new weapon in Battlefield Portal! DICE has tagged this as patch version 2.0.0.1, and there is no downtime associated with this patch. Read on for what’s new in the BF2042 September 5 patch notes.

On September 5 at 08:00 UTC we are releasing Hotfix #2.0.0.1. There will be no downtime, and you can continue playing whilst we make it available. Do restart your client to grab the Hotfix once it’s live.

  • The M95 sniper rifle is now available to Unlock for play in Battlefield Portal.
