Remember when we reported last week that EA has sent out Battlefield 2042 Technical Test invites to a select list of people? Well, those who are in, the Battlefield 2042 Tech Test pre-load is now live! It clocks in at 17GB on PC!
This has been posted on the game’s subreddit by user Breezy2G, which we’ve been tipped off to by other participants from the Tech Test as well. Note that the file size is for the Tech Test only, so don’t expect the full game to be that small in size.
Another thing that has surfaced is the confirmation that Battlefield 2042 on PC will use Easy Anti-Cheat to combat cheaters! Those who play Apex Legends will be familiar with Easy Anti-Cheat, and this is definitely good news for those hoping that cheaters won’t be rampant in DICE’s upcoming shooter.

For something more official, the Battlefeild 2042 standalone short film titled “Exodus” will air tomorrow! The latest entry in the Journey of the No-Pats series has been released earlier, and includes new screenshots once again.
