The Division 3 Boss Leaves Ubisoft to Join Battlefield Studios

It seems the PlayStation-exclusive perks for the Battlefield franchise aren’t just for Battlefield 6, but even for the recently released battle royale mode, Battlefield RedSec.

Not only did BF6 beta players receive PlayStation-exclusive rewards, but even in the final retail version, PlayStation Plus members even get bonus XP just for squadding up.

It doesn’t end there: a new DLC pack can now be obtained by PlayStation Plus members.

Battlefield RedSec Continues PlayStation Perks for Gamers

The Rogue Ops Pack contain the following:

• “Going Dark” PAX Assault Soldier Skin
• “No Limits” Soldier Patch
• “Target Spotted” Player Card Background
• “Jacked In” Weapon Charm
• “Lead Rain” Dog Tag
• “Aggressive Tactics” Vehicle Decal
• “Night Raid” UH-79 Vehicle Skin
• “Seasoned” Weapon Sticker
• “Lamina” Parachute
• “Arctic Reign” L110 Weapon Package
• “Early Grave” P18 Weapon Package

Testing it ourselves, if you’re an existing PlayStation Plus member, you’ll see it appear as $0.00. You can check out the Rogue Ops Pack’s PSN Store listing to redeem it for yourself.

For those on PC or Xbox, you’ll need to pony up $19.99 to get this, which is quite pricey. If you’re on PS5, chances are you’re glad that this is free, but I doubt Xbox and PC gamers feel the same way. This continues Sony’s unannounced co-marketing deal with publisher Electronic Arts for the Battlefield franchise, which we’re assuming will continue in future installments of the game.

If you’ve yet to play Battlefield RedSec, here’s an easy way to download and install it for PC and consoles. If you’re not a fan of battle royale games, Season 1 of Battlefield 6 adds a slew of content and gameplay improvements, which you can read about in the official patch notes.
