A gamer at heart, James has been working for MP1st for the last decade to do exactly what he loves, writing about video games and having fun doing it. Growing up in the 90's gaming has been in his DNA since the days of NES. One day he hopes to develop his own game.
Remember Dead Rising? The former Xbox 360-exclusive released way back in 2006? It’s being brought back from the dead, as Capcom has announced Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster!
While there’s no release date yet, we do get an announcement trailer featuring the game’s updated visuals.
For those not familiar with the game, here’s a synopsis of the original (via Wikipedia):
The story follows photojournalist Frank West after he becomes trapped in a zombie infested shopping mall in the town of Willamette, Colorado. Frank must uncover the mystery behind the outbreak before a rescue helicopter arrives in three days to evacuate him. The game features multiple endings depending on the conditions met by the player.
The game is played from a third-person perspective and features an open world for the player to explore in the form of the Willamette Parkview Mall. The player must survive by scavenging for items around the shopping mall to fight zombies and hostile human non-player characters known as psychopaths, while rescuing friendly human non-player characters known as survivors. In addition, the game features a set time limit of 72 hours, which the player will have to complete the story within before the time expires.
While we’re not expecting the same level of brilliance as Capcom’s Resident Evil remakes, let’s hope this one at least is a good enough upscaling of the game.

Create-a-Wrestlers appearing as bald for some reason
Hair for characters got messed up (view comparison here)
Quitting and crashing game client to desktop
Crashing issues
If the problems above are included in today’s fix, Visual Concepts hasn’t listed them. We’ll monitor the situation and update the article depending on what the community says.
For those playing the game, leave a comment below and let us know if some of the issues have been resolved.
Given we just got the Divine Trials update earlier this month in Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, don’t expect anything major in today’s title update. Ubisoft has pushed out PoP: The Last Crown update 1.31 (PS5 version 1.003.001) and this should bring in bug fixes more than anything else.
Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown Update 1.31 Patch Notes for June 26:
So far, Ubisoft has not mentioned anything about today’s title update just yet. Perhaps it helps solve the King Boss fight issues. For reference, here’s the latest fix about it mentioned by Ubisoft:
Addressed:
Players can get stuck with a lock door leading to “King Boss”, even with all three gongs activated. Leaving them unable to continue the main story.*² *³
Rare crash that could occur during “King Boss” boss fight following the main story and during fights in Boss Revenge/Boss Rush.
*²Active fix for players stuck at the door leading to “King Boss” in their save file:
If a player has a save file with a locked door, but they
haven’t passed through it yet, so the path to “King Boss”‘ area on the map is fogged, then the player will have to redo the 3 gongs to unlock the main door.*³
have already visited the area leading to “King Boss”, and might have even tried to fight him, then the player will have to go to visit any area that is not The Tower of Silence, then go back to the door and reopen it. If this didn’t help, the three gongs will have to be redone.*³
I mean, that’s a fix, but perhaps a better one has been rolled out? If the patch notes are revealed, we’ll add it to the article.

Baby is an “Infection-Type” Raider who infects Survivors and civilians, turning them into his servants!
New Survivor Skins “Bulla (GT)”, “Launch (Blue Hair)”, and “Launch (Blonde Hair)” Arrive!
You can use Launch (Blue Hair)’s passive skill “Sneeze” to revive fallen allies faster than usual by startling them awake.
And you know what happens when Launch (Blue Hair) sneezes, don’t you?
With Launch (Blonde Hair)’s passive skill “Expert Driver [Item Recovery]”, you’ll be able to pick up items, open item boxes and use vending machines while riding a vehicle.
Bulla (GT) can use the same “Charming Pose” and “Capsule (Single-Wheel Motorbike)” active skills as her mother, Bulma!
With Charming Pose, you can strike an adorable pose to distract the Raider and create an opening. Meanwhile, Capsule (Single-Wheel Motorbike) gives you access to a motorbike and you can get an extra boost of speed by pressing and holding the right button!
New Feature “FAVORITES” To Be Added
We’ve added a Favorites feature to the list of skills located in BATTLE SETTINGS -> TRAINING. Any skill you mark as a Favorite will be displayed at the top of your skills list no matter how you choose to organize it!
New Feature “LEADERBOARD” Coming!
A new Leaderboard will be placed next to the News Board at the base.
After ranked matches begin, players who earn the most rank points will be displayed on the Leaderboard!
Besides rank points, we also have an event planned that will be related to the Leaderboard.
More details regarding that event and the Leaderboard will be released in the coming days!
Season 6 Ranked Matches Coming Beginning Of August!
During the ranking period, you can earn rank points from wins and losses in online matches, as well as from the medals obtained after a match.
After accumulating enough rank points, you will be promoted to a higher rank, with rewards being distributed based on the highest rank achieved during the ranking period.
Aim for the top ranks to get fantastic rewards!
*Rewards will be calculated and distributed after the season ends.
Main In-Game Adjustments and Specific Changes
Dragon Balls can now appear from all item boxes and destructible objects. Also adjusted the number of destructible objects in one area of the WATERFRONT WARZONE map.
Long-distance visibility effects on Dragon Balls you have placed will now only be visible to yourself and allies.
└Conditions for Dragon Balls to only be visible to the Raider and not the Survivor team:
・The Raider places the Dragon Ball.
・A Dragon Ball is relocated due to being caught in an area’s destruction.
・The time expires after the Raider summons Shenron.
└Conditions for Dragon Balls to only be visible to the Survivor team and not the Raider:
・A Survivor places the Dragon Ball.
・The time expires after a Survivor summons Shenron.
*Both Raiders and Survivors can see an effect for Dragon Balls when the following scenarios occur:
・When a Raider drops a Dragon Ball from their Knockback Gauge being reduced to 0.
・When a Survivor drops a Dragon Ball from being defeated.
・When a Dragon Ball appears from an item box or other type of object.
・When a Namekian is saved and a Dragon Ball appears.
Supply drops will no longer appear when the Raider is at evolution stage 2 or below, even during the defense phase. Once the Raider reaches evolution stage 3, supplies will begin to appear.
Raiders heading toward a locked target while attacking with Ki Blasts will now accelerate while moving.
Increased acceleration when pressing and holding Jump while in flight as a Raider. Also, while in flight as a Raider, you can now press Jump twice to drop down instantly.
Increased fall speed after pressing Hide while in flight as a Raider.
Reduced the number of Cooldown Drinks that appear from vending machines, and additionally reduced the number of Cooldown Drinks that appear from item boxes during battles with Broly.
Cooldown Drinks and Super Cooldown Drinks can no longer be used during Dragon Change.
Evasions performed by survivors not in Dragon Change no longer grant invincibility.
Evasions during Dragon Change that turn the user invisible for a moment now cannot be used multiple times within a short duration. Also, evasions during Dragon Change that do not turn the user invisible no longer grant invincibility.
The following Raiders have been adjusted based on current battle statistics.
Raider “Cell”
Increased the blast radius of evolution stage 2 Cell’s Super Attack “Full-Power Energy Wave”.
Increased the attack radius and added an explosion to evolution stage 3 Cell’s Ki Blasts and slightly reduced their speed.
Increased damage from evolution stage 3 Cell’s close-ranged attacks.
Raider “Frieza”
Increased health.
Increased the blast radius of evolution stage 2 Frieza’s Super Attack “Full-Power Energy Wave”.
Made it more difficult to cancel out evolution stage 3 Frieza’s Ki Blasts.
Increased the damage from evolution stage 3 Frieza’s close-ranged attacks.
Increased damage from evolution stage 4 Frieza’s close-ranged attacks.
Raider “Majin Buu”
Increased the speed, attack radius and range of evolution stage 1 Majin Buu’s Ki Blasts.

Raider “Vegeta”

Shortened the amount of time it takes to automatically switch when evolving due to the effect of the passive skill “You’re only wasting your time at this point.”
Added an explosion to evolution stage 2’s Super Attack “Break Cannon”.
Made it more difficult to cancel out evolution stage 3 Vegeta’s Ki Blasts.
Increased the cooldown time reduction of the evolution stage 3 active skill “Call Nappa”.
Added an explosion to evolution stage 3 Vegeta’s Super Attack “Galick Gun”.
Increased the damage from evolution stage 3 Vegeta’s close-ranged attacks.
Other Changes
Raider models can now be rotated to a profile position on the RAIDER CHARACTERS screen.
Certain interactions during Dragon Change have been changed, such as saving civilians or controlling the startup system.
Adjusted the collision detection for the super time machine to more closely reflect its outward appearance.
Items will now always appear when a destructible object that automatically restores itself is destroyed in X Area while training in Practice Mode.
The camera has been adjusted so that an opponent is not as easy to lose sight of when landing a hit with a close-ranged attack or vanish move as Raider “Vegeta” evolution stage 3.
When using an active skill, such as Charming Pose, against Raider “Vegeta” evolution stage 4 that requires it to hit his face as a Great Ape in order to work, the skill will now automatically be aimed at his face.
When fighting Raider “Vegeta” on the DANGEROUS GROUND map, the starting position of the Saibaman has been adjusted, as there were cases where the Saibaman was planted in the ground close to a Survivor immediately after a match began.
Overview of Resolved Bugs
Fixed an issue with the rate of descent for falling Super Dragon Balls and supply drops changing depending on the refresh rate.
Fixed an issue with the following Raiders, where firing multiple Ki Blasts at a Survivor they’ve locked on to would cause the lock-on to remain even if the Survivor moved far enough away for the lock-on to be cancelled:
└Raider “Cell” evolution stages 2, 4
└Raider “Frieza” evolution stages 1, 4
└Raider “Majin Buu” evolution stage 3
└Raider “Ginyu Force” evolution stages 2, 3
Fixed an issue where the following Raiders would no longer send Survivors flying if they hit them with certain Super Attacks that caused the Survivor’s Limit Gauge to fall to 0 and their Dragon Change to become undone:
└Raider “Frieza” evolution stage 1 Super Attack “Supernova”
└Raider “Majin Buu” evolution stage 2 Super Attack “Innocence Cannon”
└Raider “Vegeta” evolution stage 3 Super Attack “Galick Gun”
Fixed an issue with the following Raiders where the gauge on the UI would not reach maximum at the correct time after gaining Evolution Energy from delivering a finishing blow:
└Raider “Frieza” evolution stage 1-4
└Raider “Majin Buu” evolution stage 1
└Raider “Broly” evolution stage 4
Fixed an issue with the homing blasts from the Super Attacks of the following Raiders when activated from a certain distance. The blasts would fly towards the reticle and not the Survivor locked on to, regardless of whether or not the Survivor was locked on to at the time the attack was activated:
└Raider “Vegeta” evolution stage 3 Super Attack “Finish Breaker”
└Raider “Ginyu Force” evolution stage 3 Super Attack “Purple Comet Crash”
Fixed an issue with Raider “Cell” evolution stage 1 where an attack could not be executed while finishing a wall climbing action.
Fixed an issue with Raider “Cell” at evolution stage 1 where landing an attack head on against a Dragon Changed Survivor who is on the ground would not cause them to be sent flying.
Fixed an issue where hitting a Survivor as Raider “Majin Buu” at evolution stage 2 with only the blast from the “Innocence Cannon” Super Attack would not cause them to be sent flying.
Fixed an issue where, when landing an attack from the front with Ki Blasts or a Super Attack against Raider “Vegeta” evolution stage 4, the attack would sometimes reach his tail and deal damage.
Fixed an issue where players could not attack as Raider “Vegeta” at evolution stage 1 when pressing the attack button from a certain distance.
Fixed an issue with Raider “Vegeta” where, during the animation when changing from evolution stage 1 to 2 or from evolution stage 2 to 3, the distance to send Survivors who get too close flying back was shorter compared to other Raiders.
Fixed an issue where the stomp from Raider “Vegeta” at evolution stage 4 during a close-range attack would not hit Survivors positioned to the Raider’s rear sides.
Fixed an issue where, when using the “Kaioken Assault” Super Attack against Raider “Vegeta” at evolution stage 4, the final stage of the attack executed using Instant Transmission would not hit his tail.
Fixed an issue where, when Raider “Ginyu Force” evolution stage 2-4 was hit with the “Symphonic Destruction” Super Attack from a Survivor from above, the attack from Guldo caused by the “Teamwork” passive skill would not hit the Survivor.
Fixed an issue where using Raider “Broly” evolution stage 2’s Super Attack “Planet Crusher” from certain spots on the HIGHLAND RIVER map caused Broly to be moved outside of the map.
Fixed an issue with Raider “Broly” at evolution stage 3 where, after hitting a Survivor with consecutive Ki Blasts launched by repeatedly pressing the corresponding button, hitting them with regular Ki Blasts would no longer cause damage.
Fixed an issue with Raider “Zamasu & Goku Black” where, if the buff to damage from the “Divinity Unleashed” active skill wore off while using the “Blades of Judgment” Super Attack, any blades launched after the effect had worn off would still carry the increased damage buff.
Fixed an issue where the Attack, Evade, Jump and Super Attack inputs would not work for a few seconds while stationary as Raider “Zamasu & Goku Black” at evolution stage 4 after the animation in which his appearance changes from the “Half-Corrupted” active skill finishes.
Fixed an issue where, while a Survivor was flinching from a Raider’s active skill such as “Solar Flare” or due to their barrier being destroyed, the flinching effect could be cancelled by interacting with an interactable object that was nearby. Another issue where it was possible to use radar-type items while flinching was also fixed.
Fixed an issue where, if the Raider sent multiple Survivors flying back with an attack and one Survivor collided with another, the Survivor that was collided with would stop being blown back.
Fixed an issue where, if a Survivor was sent crashing to the ground at a certain angle by a Raider’s vanish move, the Survivor would not recover from the impact and would instead remain lying face down.
Fixed an error where, while Type B Avatars or Avatars with certain character skins equipped (e.g., Bulma) are in a state of panic due to being in an area that’s about to be destroyed, the effect from landing would not display after falling from a high location.
Changed all “Shapeshift” active skills excluding “Shapeshift (Camouflage)” by adjusting the behavior of the barrier upon cancellation of the skill via either entering Dragon Change or receiving an attack, in order to bring those skills in line with “Shapeshift (Camouflage)”.
Fixed an issue where Dragon Change could not be used while using the following Survivor skills:
└Grappling Device
└Shapeshift (Missile)
└Fake Death
└Listen
└Hovering Device
Fixed an issue with the “Wall of Defense” active skill where long distance attacks could still be stopped even after the activation stance had ended.
Fixed an issue where, when a Raider is bound by the active skill “Shapeshift (Hand)”, if another character that is called by the Raider skill sends the Survivor flying back with an attack, it would still take some time before the Raider was freed.
Fixed an issue with “Shapeshift (Bat)” where any action besides pressing the active skill button again (Interact, close-range attack during Dragon Change, etc.) would not end the transformation.
Fixed an issue with the Survivor active skill “Galactic Patrol Ship” where it would be possible to leave the ship even while undergoing effects from active skills such as “Time Freeze” from Raider “Ginyu Force” at evolution stage 1.
Fixed an issue with the Survivor active skill “Galactic Patrol Ship” where the ship would not be destroyed during an area’s destruction or sent flying when coming near a Raider during their evolution animation.
Fixed an issue where, during the motion from the “Slide” passive skill, it was not possible to use radar-type items or cancel the use of radar-type items.
Fixed an issue with the Survivor passive skill “Young Talent” where the effect would still activate even during an area’s destruction or a Raider’s evolution animation.
Fixed an issue with the Survivor passive skill “Battle Instincts” where the effects from that skill would not activate if the player used the active skill “Power Unleashed” without their Dragon Change level changing.
Fixed an issue where the effects from the Survivor passive skill “Battle Instincts” would be active and remain active when used with the active skill “Power Unleashed”, even if the conditions to activate the effects of Battle Instincts had not been met.
Changed the Survivor passive skill “Battle Instincts” so that if the conditions for that skill’s effects to remain active are met when the active skill “Power Unleashed” finishes and the effects of the activation before Power Unleashed was used have yet to expire, the effect of Battle Instincts will reactivate.
Fixed an issue with Transphere Super Attacks such as “Spirit Ball” that can track Raiders, where the attack would still track the Raider even if they used Instant Transmission due to area destruction.
Fixed an issue where a Raider could be hit by a Survivor’s close-range attack or certain close-range Super Attacks while being sent flying back by another Survivor’s use of the Transphere Super Attack “Gigantic Charge”.
Fixed an issue with the Survivor costume (Bottom) item “Police Uniform Pants” that allowed the following costume (Backpack) items to be equipped simultaneously:
└Leather Tote Bag
└Messenger Bag
└Nylon Scissor Case
└Leather Scissor Case
└Nylon Waist Pack
└Leather Waist Pack
└Nylon Pouch
└Leather Pouch
└Pan’s School Uniform: Bag
*When equipped with certain costume (Top) items such as “Hoodie” which hide the pistols and other items around the waist, the above costume (Backpack) items may still be equipped.

If your framerate is unstable, please check in the ‘SYSTEM’ > ‘Graphics Settings’ > ‘Raytracing Quality’ settings from the title menu or in-game menu to check if it has been unintentionally set to ‘ON’. Once set to ‘OFF’, Ray Tracing will no longer be automatically enabled.

For the rest of the Year 2 characters set to be released, head on over here.
According to a recent datamine, we may have confirmation of the next set of Mortal Kombat 1 upcoming DLC fighters, and it includes a handful of fan-favorites. Characters like Ghostface from Scream, T-1000 from Terminator 2, and more seem to be set to join the roster of the world’s goriest fighting franchise sometime in the future.
This datamine was completed by a YouTuber named Interloko. In a recent video published to their channel, they walk through their process of digging through game files and show proof that their information is entirely from what they’re seeing in that data. They also give a fair disclaimer that things are always subject to change and that what’s being shown in the files may not ever make it to a full release.
So what’s been discovered? For starters, Interloko confirmed a full list of characters that had been previously rumored, but that he was able to more definitively confirm this time around:
Ghostface
Conan the Barbarian
Cyrax
Sektor
Noob Saibot
T-1000
Of these characters, a few had been up in the air. For example, Ghostface and Conan were previously rumored according to files that seemed to refer to them rather ambiguously, but thanks to new labels, Interloko was able to nail them down. Additionally, Cyrax, Sektor, and Noob Saibot were also confirmed thanks to their names appearing more clearly in files as well.
Other previously datamined additions such as Cassie Cage, Jade, and Kung Jin are still more nebulous. As of right now, no new content has been unearthed to suggest that they might be coming to the game. Still, their names have come up a couple times, meaning there’s a chance we’ll get to see them in-game somewhere down the line.
Here are some images from Interloko’s video which show the specific strings of text that reference many of these characters:
Now, as always, we’ll lay down a warning: take all of this with a grain of salt. Sure, the facts here are pretty damning, but there’s always a chance that these characters never see the light of day due to all sorts of random circumstances. Until we see an official announcement trailer, nothing is set in stone.
Are you excited for the potential of these upcoming DLC characters in Mortal Kombat 1? Let us know down in the comments.
