Battlefield 2042 “Letter of Commendation” Given to Players Who Complete Season 7 Battle Pass

For those that managed to complete the Season 7 Battle Pass for Battlefield 2042, you might want to check your inbox, as DICE has sent out a “Letter of Commendation” to players. For those not aware, Season 7 is the last seasonal content for Battlefield 2042, and this seems to be DICE’s proper send off to players given there’s no more Battle Pass to grind through once the current one is done.

Here’s what gamers will see in their email inbox:

LETTER OF COMMENDATION

HEADQUARTERS:

Dear,
On the occasion of ___ of the NON-PATRIOT primary elite unit, I offer my sincere congratulations on completing the PREMIUM BATTLE PASS.

Such an achievement deserves recognition.

You, and your squad’s dedication and contributions have been highly recognised with command and you have my highest admiration.

The pages of history will reflect the magnificent performance of SQUAD for which has shared in this achievement.

The fight doesn’t end here, No-Pat. The battle for power hangs in the balance and we still need every boot we can get on the ground.

FIGHT ON. REMAIN FREE. THE BATTLEFIELD AWAITS YOU.

Sincerely,
OZ –

For those curious what the “See What’s Next’ button does after clicking it, it just leads to this page:

Yeah, sort of anti-climactic, isn’t it? That said, the fact that BF2042 reached seven seasons is an achievement in of itself, as when the game was released to lukewarm reception, everyone presumed the game was dead, and that DICE would leave it to work on the next Battlefield game. Thankfully, that didn’t happen, as the studio reworked the specialists, the maps and more to make it what it is today.

Even if the seasonal content is over, that doesn’t mean DICE is abandoning the game. On the contrary, the studio just released the Dead Space crossover event this week, which you can read about here.

As for the next Battlefield game, EA hasn’t revealed it officially yet, but did confirm that it’s in a playable state, and how it’ll be “another tremendous live service” title.

Have you gotten a letter yet? What would you want to see from DICE as an appreciation gift to players?

[Thanks, DANNYonPC!]

The First Descendant Hits 10 Million Players in First Week; Over 4,000 Game and Store Cheaters Perma-Banned in Seven Days

Regardless of what you think of looter shooters, Nexon’s AAA entry in the genre, The First Descendants, is a confirmed hit, as the studio has announced that the game has already hit 10 million players in just the first seven days of availability!

The announcement was made on the official The First Descendant Twitter:

Regardless if The First Descendant is a free-to-play game, 10 million players is nothing to scoff at. The game’s popularity is evident, as its subreddit has over 83, 000 members, and a few hundred are almost always online.

Of course, this being an online game, that means cheaters and toxic players will infest it somehow. Thankfully, Nexon is on the case, as over 3,400 accounts have been banned in just four days!

According to Nexon, they are inspecting “abusive gaming behavior to ensure that all Descendants can enjoy the game in a pleasant environment.”

Nexon adds:

  • – The outcome of the crackdown on abusive users includes enforcement actions taken based on Descendant’s reports and monitoring.
  • – If you would like to vindicate yourself in relation to a claim on the exploitation of the Open Store’s payment process, please visit our official website > Customer Service > 1:1 Support and make your inquiry.
  • – If you would like to vindicate yourself in relation to a claim on the exploitation of the payment process through chargebacks, please contact the platform store where you made the payment.

The crackdown period ran from July 5 to July 11, and so far, there are 3,481 users perma-banned for “creating, distributing or using unauthorized programs,” while 639 users were given a 30-day ban for “abnormal gameplay” that was detected.  Finally, 608 users were handed permanent bans for “unfair gains by exploitation on store payment process.” You can check out the list of banned players here.

In case you didn’t log on yesterday, a patch was released that brought in content changes. You can also check out the roadmap to see the major updates planned for the year.

The Finals Update 1.000.041 Released for Patch 3.4.0 This July 12

Embark has released The Finals update 1.000.041 today for patch version 3.4.0. This update includes balance changes as well as Polish and Turkish translations. Check out the what’s new in July 12 patch notes for The Finals down below.

The Finals Update 1.000.041 for Version 3.4.0 Patch Notes:

PS5 update 1.000.041

ISEUL-T CUP, Pond Dweller & The Pro Circuit!

Update 3.4 is coming in hot with multiple features and changes fighting over the spotlight! ISEUL-T is entering The Arena as the latest sponsor on the next stop of the World Tour – The ISEUL-T Cup! The Pro Circuit also goes live with this update, however, both of these changes are sharing that spotlight with a certain green someone in our latest store update…

Introducing the Pond Dweller:

Also, we have quite the list of changes this time including several changes to Bank-It, shorter wait-times in Terminal Attack, the addition of party chat while in the main menu and the ability to equip multiple weapon animations to the same gun.

Those of you with a keen eye will also notice that we’ve added an info panel that explains the World Tour’s FINALS event – check it out in-game.

Finally, both Polish and Turkish translations of THE FINALS are now live with this update, so make sure to throw a “Cześć” or “Merhaba” into team chat at the start of a game!

Full list of changes included in this update:

Balance Changes

Gadgets

Breach Charge

  • Decreased minimum damage applied at outer edge of explosions to 0

  • Increased damage radius from 2m to 2.5m

  • Set damage fall-off to scale linearly from the max damage radius to the outer radius

Dev Note: Previously, our area of effect (AoE) Weapons and Gadgets had several ‘damage shelves’, where damage would fall off radically at the edge of the inner radius of a blast and at the edge of the outer radius. This could result in AoE damage feeling somewhat inconsistent. These changes now cause damage to fall-off linearly from the inner radius damage value, down to 0 at the outer edge of the radius, which we believe will feel much more consistent. The radius of each AoE weapon has been increased slightly as a result of this, as the outer edge of explosions now does much less damage than it did previously.

C4

  • Decreased minimum damage applied at outer edge of explosions to 0

  • Increased damage radius from 6m to 6.5m

  • Set damage fall-off to scale linearly from the max damage radius to the outer radius

Explosive Mine

  • Decreased minimum damage applied at outer edge of explosions to 0

  • Increased damage radius from 3.5m to 4.25m

  • Set damage fall-off to scale linearly from the max damage radius to the outer radius

Frag Grenade

  • Decreased minimum damage applied at outer edge of explosions to 0

  • Increased damage radius from 4.5m to 5m

  • Set damage fall-off to scale linearly from the max damage radius to the outer radius

Game Modes

Dev Note: These changes are the first part of a series of improvements we’re planning to make to each of our game modes over the course of Season 3, including our Cashout and Power Shift modes. These changes will cover a range of areas, from pacing to scoring. The goal is to smooth out some of the rough edges in each of our modes, hopefully leading to a better overall experience across all our modes.

Bank It

  • Removed team wipes

  • Decreased respawn time from 17 seconds to 10 seconds

  • Added the ability for players to change to a different Contestant while dead

Terminal Attack & Ranked Terminal Attack

  • Decreased lobby duration from 15 seconds to 10 seconds

  • Decreased warm-up duration from 25 seconds to 20 seconds

  • Decreased round duration from 150 seconds to 130 seconds

Weapons

CL-40

  • Decreased minimum damage applied at outer edge of explosions to 0

  • Increased damage radius from 2.6m to 3m

  • Set damage fall-off to scale linearly from the max damage radius to the outer radius

Dev Note: As with the AoE Gadgets, our AoE weapons have also been updated to get more consistent feeling damage fall-off.

MGL-32

  • Decreased minimum damage applied at outer edge of explosions to 0

  • Increased damage radius from 3.75m to 4m

  • Set damage fall-off to scale linearly from the max damage radius to the outer radius

RPG-7

  • Decreased minimum damage applied at outer edge of explosions to 0

  • Increased damage radius from 4.5m to 5.5m

  • Set damage fall-off to scale linearly from the max damage radius to the outer radius

Content and Bug Fixes

Animation

  • Fixed a bad transition animation between the Winch Claw and using the ability to lift items

  • Fixed an issue where players could not play emote animations consecutive times

  • Added support for enabling multiple custom weapon animations at once. If multiple animations are equipped, an animation will be randomly selected from that list when triggered

Characters

  • Fixed a bug that caused ‘General Goodboy’ pet to be rendered with blurry artifacts

  • Fixed various smaller issues with cosmetic items, such as various clipping issues

Gadgets

Thermal Bore

  • Fixed an issue where the Thermal Bore could become stuck in mid-air

Game Modes

Bank It

  • Fixed an issue where it would sometimes not be possible to respawn

Practice Range

  • Added Season 2 trophies for Ranked, Terminal Attack event & season

Ranked Terminal Attack

  • Fixed an issue where the full rank score gain could sometimes not be given to players due to the losing team abandoning the match

Localization

  • Added support for Turkish and Polish languages

Maps

Kyoto

  • Made various fixes to improve the quality of building destruction

  • Fixed various issues were there were gaps in the map

Matchmaking

  • Fixed an issue where the matchmaking region could be wrongly set for new players on consoles

Stability

  • Fixed several issues that could cause client crashes

  • Fixed one issue where players could sometimes spawn into a game and be unable to attack or use Gadgets

Studio Wildcard has pushed out yet another Ark Survival Ascended patch, and this seems to be another minor update that implements fixes to the game. Players will see Ark Survival Ascended update 1.048.025 available for download today, and you can read on to know what got changed once you’ve installed the mandatory title update for the game released this July 11 (July 12 for those outside the US).

Ark Survival Ascended Update 1.048.025 Patch Notes:

The only thing released by Studio Wildcard is the patch notes for the PC client yesterday for version 48.25, which should be the same for the console patch released now given the version numbers.

  • Fixed an issue where custom structure cosmetics weren’t showing in some cases unless a player relogged

Yep, that’s about it. There was also a patch released a few days ago that also included a short list of changes:

v48.23 (Steam Client) – 07/08/2024

  • Added additional security around EOS protocols
  • legacy patchnotes moved to reply below

v48.23 (PS5 Minor Client) – 07/09/2024

  • Added additional security around EOS protocols

While these are minor updates, the bigger one called the “Aberration” patch is scheduled to be released on September 4.  Expect the game to be upgraded to Unreal Engine 5 once it’s out which will give significant improvements in performance, graphics and more. Once more details about that is released, we’ll be sure to let our readers know.

The Outlast Trials Next Update “Project Lupara” Out July 16 and Brings New Villain, Map & More; Sales Now at Over 2M Sold

Red Barrels is set to release The Outlast Trials’ first major update next week, and players can expect a new villain, new map, new abilities, cosmetics and a lot more! Called “Project Lupara,” it will also include a new in-game currency, which we’re not sure whether it will sit well with the game’s player base.

Before diving in, Red Barrels has also announced that The Outlast Trials have now sold over two million units to date! Not a bad achievement for a horror multiplayer game, right?

Read to dive in to see what horrors await players next week? Here we go!

The Outlast Trials Next Update “Project Lupara” Features:

Release Date: July 16 (consoles and PC)

New Prime Asset: Franco “Il Bambino” Barbi

The perverse son of New Orleans mafia don Salvatore Barbi. Franco is driven by craven entitlement, greed, and psychosexual violence fueled by his impotence and insecurities, a freakish ‘big baby’ obsessed with his ‘Pacifier’; the titular boom stick he sucks on when he’s not using it to blow someone to smithereens.

New Map: “The Docks”

Enter “The Docks,” Franco’s drug manufacturing domain from which he infantilizes the world, dragging weak and powerful alike to his level. Solve its deadly puzzles and escape Franco’s tantrums to escape alive.

  • Poison the Medicine: Reagents will come face-to-face with Franco in the new story Trial, “Poison the Medicine”, which will transport players to “The Docks,” a brand-new map and Barbi’s home turf.
  • Mansion Escape: Return to the final Trial, Farewell Mansion, for a completely new experience; Mansion Escapes now evolves in difficulty as you release Reagents. Witness an all-new Ending when you succeed.
  • Fuel the Release: Justice requires power, and power requires fuel. Carry the fuel, power the court, and secure your liberty.
Teach the Police Officer: Defining laws creates crime; replace the precinct’s training film with Murkoff’s reels and make future crimes your own.

New Game Mode: Escalation Therapy

  • Reagents partake in a new rogue-lite game mode pitting them against a never-ending series of randomized Trials with variators until they succumb to a Permadeath and begin anew.
  • Reagents will begin with nothing and build their loadouts from Murkoff’s limited selection of upgrades.
  • The longer you can survive, the bigger the reward.

New Player Ability: The Barricade

This Rig can be used to block paths, giving Reagents the time needed to complete their objectives while pursuers are forced to bash their way through or take the long way around.

Introduction of Difficulty Options

Players can choose from four difficult settings: Introductory, Standard, Intense, and Psychosurgery.

New Lobby Mini-Game: Stroop Effect Test

The stroop effect is the delayed reaction time people have when viewing conflicting stimuli; the Stroop Effect Test asks participants to correctly select the colour of a word, where the word spells the name of a different colour. For example, the word RED written in blue text, or the word BLUE written in yellow text.

Introduction of Daily & Weekly Tasks:

Accomplishing tasks gives Reagents a sense of pride, and earns them various rewards.

Introduction of Catalogs

  • Behavioral Attire shapes your persona on the path to rebirth. Complete tasks. Earn Stamps. Become a better you.
  • Standard Catalog “A New You”: A collection of previously available and new cosmetics.
  • First Deluxe Catalog “Project Lupara”: A collection of brand new cosmetics to go along with this update.

New Limited Time Event

  • The Bambino Special Event will run for the first four weeks following the update.
  • Franco Barbi appears in certain Trials and MK-Challenges, alongside Mother Gooseberry or Sergeant Coyle, and in Trials and MK
  • Challenges set in The Docks map.
  • The event will have two parts (each split into two weeks) where Franco will appear in different Trials.

New DLC, “The Exotica Pack”

Travel the world from inside your cell! This new exclusive set includes four legendary outfits, E.S.O.P.s , cell items, cell posters, and player icons to customize your horrific journey. Available on July 16 for USD $19.99.

New MURKOFF COLLECTIONS Comic Book Chapter

Chapter 3 of the Murkoff Collections releases July 12, bringing with it the chilling backstory of our latest Prime Asset, Franco ‘Il Bambino’ Barbi.

In addition to the upcoming major update, Red Barrels has confirmed that this is just the first of a number of upcoming major updates for the live service game. Some of the details about that has been shared in the game’s roadmap.

Once the patch is live, we’ll be sure to let our readers know.

King Arthur: Legion IX Review – Dawn of the Roman Undead

There’s no rest for the undead, as King Arthur: Legion IX clearly proves. A tactical game with a grim style and a dark fantasy take on the Arthurian myth, you control Gaius Julius Mento and his growing army of the undead in a succession of RPG exploration and turn-based battles. But is this follow-up to 2022’s King Arthur: Knight’s Tale an improvement over the original or simply more of the same?

The Dead Await

King Arthur Legion IX Review

The dark atmosphere and occult penchant of King Arthur: Legion IX is noticeable since the first moments of the adventure. The first area serves as a tutorial of sorts for movement and combat, and does a decent enough job of showing you the ropes, as you move to the next area, searching for Nova Roma and setting up a colony, expanding it by embarking in various missions and moral choices.

One debatable thing about this game is that you are restricted to finding and unlocking a few new heroes for your party, out of a total of six, with some missions limiting you to five characters. Considering that you start with a group of three and quickly stumble upon the fourth member, this offering will feel a lot on the slim side, as it doesn’t really goes into detail about unit choices and dilemmas; you simply reassemble your old legion and go with it. There is a nice but somewhat shallow leveling system for the heroes, with various active and passive skills, gear, and more, which while not going into great depth, does provide some potential for interesting choices and builds.

King Arthur Legion IX Review

Battles are compelling and there’s definitely a decent amount of mechanics at work, requiring some learning to emerge victorious. If a party member dies, your chances of victory significantly decrease, but rest assured that just like every good undead, they will be resurrected after battle. The combat system is intuitive, featuring action points both for movement and active skills, which result in a nice tactical layer that feels very familiar, right up to the popular overwatch action, but is nonetheless compelling and challenging – some battles can be very hard, not so much due to a specific foe, but more because of the number of enemies that will keep on spawning and hunting you down. Some battles also task you with other mandatory actions, from destroying totems to lighting cauldrons, requiring your full commitment to leave the area alive… or less dead, so to speak.

The range of actions from your party is respectable, with melee and ranged attacks that can be spiced up by various spells, some of them binding damage to various enemies, or raining fire from the skies. It’s definitely not groundbreaking but works as expected, but it still feels like a more streamlined approach than what can be found in King Arthur: Knight’s Tale.

Exploration of the areas is pretty much by-the-numbers, with markers directing you to the main and side-quests with no surprises, apart from a few chests and landmarks that you can find if you take the time to search the places. The areas have this nice fantasy Avalon ring to them, with good detail despite veering a bit on the generic side. Where the game resoundingly fails is in the voice work, with voices from the three starting characters that are all alike, very guttural and monotone, trying to convey these bad-ass personas but only sounding like the same voice actor read all the scripts and the result was slightly remixed, with a notoriously bad outcome. The voice of Albina Virgila, the female mage, adds some variety, but is also subpar.

Not a Foul Stench

King Arthur Legion IX Review

King Arthur: Legion IX doesn’t represent a true step forward from King Arthur: Knight’s Tale, and in some regards it’s even a simplified version of said game. The value for those who own the first one is debatable, but if they are looking for more of the same, this is a good option although it may disappoint in some aspects; on the other hand, new players may get more enjoyment from this tactical game, assuming they are looking for a challenge and aren’t bothered by the lack of playable characters or the middling writing.

Score: 7.5/10

Pros:

  • Enjoyable tactical combat
  • Can be a good challenge for fans

Cons:

  • Limited and restrictive character selection
  • Mostly terrible voice work
  • Somewhat of a streamlined version of the previous game

Report: Journey to the Savage Planet Sequel “Revenge of the Savage Planet” in Development, Codenamed “Lodestar”

Back in 2020, the indie action-adventure game Journey to the Savage Planet made its debut on both consoles and PC, and was developed by Google first-party dev team (now defunct)  Typhoon Studios.  It seems a Journey to the Savage Planet sequel is under development titled “Revenge of the Savage Planet,” and we have the first details.

Journey to the Savage Planet initially released on Windows, PS4 and Xbox, and it later became available on platforms like Stadia and the Nintendo Switch. However, the closure of Google Stadia and the dissolution of Typhoon Studios left fans uncertain about the fate of the Savage Planet universe. However, a glimmer of hope has emerged after the original team behind Journey to the Savage Planet formed a new studio called Raccoon Logic.

Until this year, the project the new studio is working was unknown, but in May a sequel for Journey to the Savage Planet was hinted through a discovery in the Canadian Intellectual Property Office—a registration for a title called “Revenge of The Savage Planet.”

Now, thanks to a casting call made on the Actors Access website earlier this year, we can confirm that the sequel is being developed under the working title Lodestar. The description of the call reads the following:

Project LODESTAR (working title) is an indy videogame, a follow-up to “Journey To The Savage Planet” by Tycoon/505/Stadia Games. This role is for a short intro talking head video to play at the beginning of the game. The role is for a sci-fi formally dressed spokesperson

In addition to the this casting call, the creators of Journey to the Savage Planet have been busy casting roles for humorous in-game commercials. These spoof ads will play on virtual TVs within the game. Here are some of the roles they’re seeking:

  • Slappi Xtreme Smartbot – Kid
  • Slappi Xtreme Smartbot – Mother
  • Nu-Grob2 – Testimonials
  • Smile Syndicate – Job Candidate
  • Chisler Financial – Infomercial TV Presenter

The most recent casting for the game was conducted in March 2024, which esems to indicated that development is proceeding as planned

So, while the sequel remains unconfirmed, the signs point to Lodestar as the next chapter in the Savage Planet saga. Xbox Game Pass users, meanwhile, can revisit the original title, living the zany escapades of the first interstellar explorer who dared to venture where no one had gone before or you can buy it in your platform’s storefront.

When it was released, Journey to the Savage Planet was reviewed favorably, with the game sitting at a respectable 76 on Metacritic currently.

The First Descendant Patch 1.006 for Hotfix 1.0.2 Pushed Out This July 11

The First Descendant patch 1.006 is now available for download (last-gen is version 1.06), and this is for Hotfix 1.0.2 that brings content changes, bug fixes and more. Read on for everything new from Nexon below.

The First Descendant Version 1.006 Patch Notes for July 11:

Patch Details

Content Improvements

– Added the ‘Start Public Operation’ function (matchmaking) to Infiltration Operations (Hard). ‘Start Public Operation’ is available even if you change the selected reward, but if you select an additional option, only ‘Start Private Operation’ will be available.

– Removed the sequential type Immunity Spheres from Named Monsters. They have been changed to either the default or extermination types.

# Director’s Comment

The Dev Team acknowledges the community’s concern about the monotonous patterns of Named Monsters and strives to enhance them.

In particular, we’ve noted that the pattern involving breaking spheres in a specific order isn’t appropriate for public matching and have decided to remove it immediately.

As new patterns are developed, we will soon update the patterns of existing Named Monsters one by one.

As Named Monsters frequently appear in Hard difficulty and Special Operations, we will continue working towards diversifying their patterns.

– Increased the quantity of rare basic materials dropped from Encrypted Vaults three-fold. The Elite Vulgus that appear in Field Missions and Infiltration Operations will now drop them too.

# Director’s Comment

The most efficient way to farm rare basic materials is still through Encrypted Vaults, but for those who prefer hunting monsters, we have updated Field Missions and Infiltration Operations to drop these materials too.

The Dev Team will closely monitor the overall farming status and do our best to create a joyful environment for all our Descendants.

– Reduced the time from two 90-second to two 60-second occupations for the Kingston ‘Vulgus Data Transmitter’ Hacking Mission.

– Improved the Battle Pass Battle Supply Shop button’s visibility by redesigning it in the format of the Bonus Shop banner.

# Director’s Comment

You can get season-limited skins for free from the Battle Supply Shop. Complete pre-season challenges to claim your special skins!

– Updated the Library window from closing when the map is opened and closed through the Acquisition Information pop-up.

– Improved the duration of party invitation messages to make them easier to confirm and accept.

– Improved the duration of the Descendant Instructor’s lines.

# Director’s Comment

Many Descendants have commented that the Descendant Instructor’s dialogue contains many useful game tips.

Currently, it’s not possible to revisit previous dialogues, but we are planning to fix this.

We will continue to make improvements so that Descendants can easily access the information they require.

– Moved the guide NPC you meet after first arriving in Albion closer.

Optimization Improvements

– [PC] Improved the stability of the shader preparation process by reducing the CPU load during shader generation.

Currently, we are actively monitoring this issue, and if you encounter issues with a 13th or 14th gen Intel, please refer to Intel’s official guide.

– [PC] Lowered GPU memory usage when set at High or higher quality.

– [PC] Fixed an issue where character skins were displayed abnormally in low graphics settings intermittently during extended play.

– [PC] Fixed a bug that allowed frame limits to be set when using Nvidia and AMD’s Frame Generation.

– [Common] Fixed an issue where shadows were intermittently displayed abnormally depending on the view.

– [Common] Made various other fixes for optimization purposes, and we will continuously monitor them.

Bug Fixes

(1) UI/UX

– Fixed an issue displaying unused items in the Library.

(2) Descendants

– Fixed an issue where Descendants could not get out of DBNO when their HP was below -100% from module settings.

– Fixed an issue where Kyle would occasionally go up into the air when using ‘Superconductivity Thrusters’ during ‘Repulsion Dash’.

– Fixed an issue where Esiemo could not get back up while using ‘Arche Explosion’ and being inflicted with Knockback.

(3) Modules

– Fixed an issue where the increase in Firearm ATK per stack in the ‘Sharp Precision Shot’ module was summed instead of multiplied.

(4) Equipment

– Fixed an issue where a weapon’s attribute damage did not apply damage over 100,000.

– Fixed an issue where higher values were displayed as the Ultimate (Gold) option despite the Reactor’s Skill Cooldown and Skill Cost stats being preferable with lower values.

– Fixed an issue where lower values were displayed as the Ultimate (Gold) option despite the Weapon Change Speed stat being preferable with higher values.

(5) Field

– Fixed an issue where ‘Amorphous Material Pattern: 118’ and ‘Shape Stabilizer Form 8’ were not dropped at ‘Frozen Valley: Vulgus Strategic Outpost’ in Fortress (Hard).

– Fixed an issue where Elite Vulgus in the White-night Gulch ‘Upper Hatchery’ Battlefield Missions did not drop rewards.

– Fixed an issue where monster spawning was interrupted at some Vulgus Strategic Outposts.

(6) Instance Dungeon

# Director’s Additional Comment

It has come to our attention that the community is worried about possible nerfs to Tamer and Gley’s infinite magazine builds.

This meta is very strong, but since it is within the scope of what the Dev Team has planned, there are no immediate plans to do so.

In addition, some weapons are more powerful than Tamer and there are a variety of character builds that rival Gley’s infinite magazine, so please enjoy them fully. We’ve been looking forward to seeing Descendants use creative builds to take down powerful Colossi swiftly, so we’re quite delighted to see this in action now.

We are well aware that as many Descendants begin farming in earnest, various discussions are taking place regarding drop rates. There is no variable drop rate system in The First Descendant. We are using the fixed rates displayed in the game. The Dev Team has reviewed the acquisition rates across all servers and confirmed that they are dropping according to the rates displayed. We are currently working on various measures to ensure the community can trust the dev team such as disclosing item drop amounts for each content. And we also prepare ways to improve the farming experience. The First Descendant will continue to communicate transparently and honestly.

For what’s in store for the game this year, head on over here for the roadmap.
