Diablo 4 update 1.25 (PS5 version 1.025) is now out on PC and consoles, and this is for patch version 1.2.2! This adds new Malignant Rings into the game, adjustments to Season of Blood, and more! Read on for the complete D4 update 1.2.2 patch notes.
Five new Unique Rings have been added to the game, one for each class. These are based on popular Malignant Powers from Season of the Malignant, and are immediately available in both Seasonal and Eternal realms.
Ring of Red Furor (Barbarian Unique Ring)
After spending 100 Fury within 3 seconds, your next cast of Hammer of the Ancients, Upheaval, or Death Blow is a guaranteed Critical Strike and deals 10—30% (multiplicative damage) [x] bonus Critical Strike Damage.
Tal Rasha’s Iridescent Loop (Sorcerer Unique Ring)
For each type of Elemental damage you deal, gain 10—15%[x] increased damage for 4 seconds. Dealing Elemental damage refreshes all bonuses.
Airidah’s Inexorable Will (Druid Unique Ring)
When casting an Ultimate Skill and again 5 seconds after, Pull in Distant enemies and deal 0.5-1.0 Physical damage to them. This damage is increased by 1%[x] per 1 point of Willpower you have.
Writhing Band of Trickery (Rogue Unique Ring)
Casting a Subterfuge Skill leaves behind a Decoy Trap that continuously Taunts and lures enemies. The Decoy Trap explodes after 3 seconds dealing 2.0-3.0 Shadow damage. Can occur every 12 seconds.
Ring of the Sacrilegious Soul (Necromancer Unique Ring)
Automatically activate the following equipped Skills on Corpses around you:
Raise Skeleton every 1-2 seconds.
Corpse Explosion every 1-2 seconds.
Corpse Tendrils every 8-16 seconds.
Developer’s Note: Creating the Malignant Rings are a way for us to take popular Seasonal content that resonated with Players and reintroduce it in a way that can persist beyond the Season and into the Eternal realm.

Earlier this year, it was reported that Nintendo was showing off the Switch 2 to developers in preparation for its 2024 launch. Well, months after the report, Nintendo has finally commented on the rumors, calling them “untrue.”
This comes from the Nintendo Boss himself, Shuntaro Furukawa. According to the Japanese publication Mainichi, Furukawa did not mention the Switch 2 release during Nintendo’s financial reporting.
“Rumors are circulating mainly on the Internet as if they were public information, but they are inaccurate.” Furukawa said, calling reports of it being shown off to developers “untrue.”
“This electronic apparatus comprises a first device and a second device. The first device and the second device can be detachably attached to each other. The first device has a first surface, and a first display and a first connection unit which are positioned on the first surface. The second device has a second surface, a second display that is positioned on the second surface, a second rear surface that is on the reverse side from the second surface, and a second connection unit that is positioned on the second rear surface. The second connection unit can be connected to the first connection unit in a first orientation or in a second orientation that is the reverse from the first orientation. When in a first connection state in which the second connection part has been connected to the first connection part in the first orientation, the second rear surface is positioned so as to cover the first display. When in a second connection state in which the second connection part has been connected to the first connection part in the second orientation, the second rear surface is positioned so as not to cover the first display.”
An image of the patented device can be seen below.
Furukawa addressed this during the call, saying he applied for it with the knowledge that it would show up publicly, but it didn’t mean that it would be used in any product. Patents are often secured for legal purposes, with many never actually ever being used.
With the Switch being in its last year, we expect to hear about the successor real soon. In the meantime, be careful about which rumors you follow, as nothing is ever official until it’s official.

That’s all for this week’s Destiny 2 update. Stay tuned for our Xur and Trials of Osiris posts on Friday.
Torn Banner has released Chivalry 2 update 1.30 (PS5 version 1.030) on PC and consoles, and this is for Reclamation patch version 2.9! This patch includes a new map, a new weapon and more. Read on for everything new in the Chivalry 2 2.9 patch notes.
New Team Objective Map | The Reclamation of Montcrux: The crown jewel of the latest Chivalry 2 update finds the Agathians fighting back against the Tenosian Empire’s invasion. The new 64-player map promises a challenging uphill battle for the attacking Agathian faction, who must break through the fortress’s walls with petards while avoiding a rain of ballista fire from the defending Tenosians as the bombarbs continue to fire against the Agathian siege towers and camp. Should they break through, Agathians must then lift the keep’s gates and disable the bombards launching above, reclaiming the fortress for Agatha.
New Limited-time Game Mode | Last Peasant Standing: The peasantry of Aberfell are having a feud! As a fragile peasant owing fealty to the Agathian Knights or Mason Order, scramble for what limited weapons you can find to defeat the enemy team through multiple rounds. Victory goes to the team that wins five rounds in total.
New Weapon | Siege Crossbow: Unlike its more lightweight predecessor, the Siege Crossbow (available for the Crossbowman subclass) fires bolts that can deal notable damage to non-objective siege weapons and constructables. It also has the power to pierce through them. Be wary when hiding behind barricades! While it may deal considerable damage, use caution when reloading, aiming, and shooting, as this is a bulky weapon and you are limited in the amount of shots you can fire. Make them count!
New Free-for-All Map | Desert: Take to the Tenosian desert once more — but this time, in a glorious contest where every knight fights for themselves!
New Campaign Pass | Reclamation: Embark on our new progression-based Campaign Pass: Reclamation to unlock new armors, weapon skins, heraldry and more! Rewards range from the impressive Agatha Templar armor sets to a variety of Warhammer skins and many more.

Horses
Fixed a crash that would occur when a player tackles another player into a horse
Fixed an issue where the player would be locked in sprint mode after certain actions while horses are present in a given match

We have been discussing the state of the matchmaking queues and looking to refine the existing queues based on player feedback. As a result, the main queue is now TO only, and 40 player mixed modes are back on the main page. Note that 40 player mixed modes in standalone servers is different from matchmaking servers in the sense that they do not include horses.

Following a very recent patch, developer Hexworks has unveiled their plans for the remainder of the year in a new Lords of the Fallen roadmap. The roadmap, which covers content planned through December, includes new questlines and armor sets and even a New Game+ mode, as well as continued fixes, optimizations, and balancing.
As shown in the graphic, players can expect multiple new quest lines to be added before the end of the year, all of which include unique new armor sets and weapons. Additionally, the game will receive two new spell packs, an inventory and stash expansion, continuous balancing and stability fixes, and an entirely new questline event.
Perhaps the most exciting piece of content on this roadmap is the introduction of a New Game+ mode, complete with game modifiers. These modifiers will allow players to change their subsequent playthroughs in all sorts of ways, truly customizing the experience to their liking. It’s sure to add a hefty chunk of replayability to the game.
Saül Gascon, Head of Studio at Hexworks, also commented on the team’s commitment to making Lords of the Fallen what the players want:
At HEXWORKS, we’re incredibly proud of the open relationship we’re fostering with our community. We are actively listening to their constructive feedback and working diligently to deliver what we believe, collectively, will elevate Lords of the Fallen even further. Every addition to the game is a labour of love, as we strive to push both it and the genre’s boundaries.
Hexworks has also confirmed that this is just the beginning of their support for Lords of the Fallen. Beyond 2023, the game will continue to receive meaningful updates, which the team plans to announce at a later date.
If you’re interested in Lords of the Fallen, you can check out our review here. We gave the game a 7.5/10 and said “just like the original that preceded it, Lords of the Fallen is a solid Soulslike game. Hexworks set a high bar for themselves, and while they didn’t quite reach the heights they were going for, they should be commended for what they have accomplished.”

The World of Warcraft console version has been a hot topic of discussion amongst the community for a long time. However, there was nothing concrete to go on until today. Speaking in an interview, WoW’s Vice President and Executive Producer, Holly Longdale said that the team is “well positioned” to make the console port of the popular MMO a reality.
Of course! Yeah, we talk about it all the time. I think we’re pretty well positioned, which is kind of why we talk about it. It’s a complicated question. For a console audience, the approachability is likely going to be different.
She further stated that World of Warcraft console version is not on the agenda at the moment as the teams are fully occupied with the Worldsoul Saga. However, they plan to reexamine the possibility after completing their current projects.
Right now, we’re focused on the Worldsoul Saga. But if that comes up then we’ll reexamine things but, man, we’ve got enough to deal with right now.
A console port of one of the most popular MMOs would indeed be something special. However, until an official announcement is made, it is better to keep your excitement in check. We’ll just wait and see how things unfold in the upcoming months. Stay tuned.

Generation Zero Update 1.41 Patch Notes | Generation Zero Guerrilla Research Update Patch Notes:
GUERRILLA RESEARCH UPDATE – PATCH NOTES
Greetings, Survivors!
It’s November and we’re excited to talk about the Guerrilla Research Update, releasing tomorrow at 10am CET. As you might have seen on our Social Media channels, it contains Weapon Augmenting, new free cosmetics, a new cosmetic DLC, and some much needed fixes. Let’s get right into it!
WEAPON AUGMENTING
We love to give you more ways to customize and adapt the way you play Generation Zero. Weapon Augmenting is a big step in that direction: it offers new challenges, reinforces and empowers your individual playstyle and diversifies the existing range of weapons more than ever before! Not to mention giving those of you who have been hoarding their resources something to spend them on.
Weapon Augmenting consists of two parts: Research and Crafting.
The Research is done in the new tab of the same name. It has you complete different gameplay challenges in order to unlock Augmentation Designs.
Each Design has 3 tiers (Bronze, Silver, and Gold) which become stronger as they progress, but of course the challenges required to unlock them also become harder to complete.
These Designs can then be applied to a weapon of 2-5 crowns rarity.
The application of these Designs happens at the Consumable Crafting Station, which is now split up into a Consumables part and an Augmenting part. This is how it works:
First, you select a weapon you would like to augment.
Then, you select the Design you want to apply. The application costs an increasing amount of resources based on the quality of the Augmentation Design.
Note that overriding or removing an Augmentation does not refund any of the crafting materials used to apply it. However, upgrading to a higher tier of the same Design will subtract the cost of the previously equipped tier.
There are Primary and Support Augmentation Designs. 2 and 3 crown weapons can have a Primary Design applied to them, whereas 4 and 5 crown weapons can have one Primary and one Support Design.
We decided not to allow Experimental weapons to be augmented as they’re already quite strong and the interaction between an Experimental weapon’s innate effect and augments might lead to a lot of unexpected scenarios. It could still be something we want to consider in the future, but for now this feature will stay exclusive to the regular weapons.
NEW PROCEDURAL MISSIONS
After we released the first three Procedural Missions, we heard a lot of feedback about them from you. Mainly there are two things you thought could be improved: the length of the missions and the rewards.
For this iteration, we’ve added three new quests for you to complete on a weekly basis. They should now take you around 10 minutes to complete and we’ve tweaked the rewards you get from them to be more satisfying.
Resistance Dead Drop
Find a cache of resources stashed by the Resistance and figure out a way inside.
Resistance Radio Maintenance
Perform repairs and maintenance on parts of the Resistance’s radio infrastructure.
High Value Target
Take out a high value Machine that’s roaming around a radio transponder.
We will continue to monitor your feedback around Procedural Missions and keep finding ways to make them more engaging, fun and challenging. Please let us know what you think about these new ones, especially compared to the previous three! We highly appreciate your input.
PAID DLC – “ADVANCED INTELLIGENCE COSMETICS PACK”
This cosmetic DLC was made to let you and your Companion mimic the menacing look of the enemy. The apocalypse is here, and this DLC offers a makeover to make you and Survivor’s best friend look the part with a wide range of weapon and companion cosmetics.
CONTENTS
Machine-themed weapon skins: Made to stand out, these fresh appearances are based on the different Machine classes: FNIX, Prototype and Apocalypse (left to right).
What’s amazing about the FNIX and Apocalypse variant of these is that they’re emissive, meaning certain parts of them will glow in the dark! Here’s how that looks:
Companion Swag
On top of this, we’re happy to include a skin (which also glows!), Light Kit and Voice Box to make your Companion sound like they’re one of FNIX’ finest!
Get ready for a lean, green killing machine with the Apocalypse cosmetics for your steel buddy – they won’t know what hit’em.
Vocoder Voice Pack
Lastly, this pack includes another Voice Box for the Companion – the Vocoder kit. Think “space robots from your favorite 80’s scifi show”, that’s what it sounds like. Funky! Listen to a preview
FREE COSMETICS
For those of you who are still unsure about the cosmetics pack, no worries! We got you covered. With the Guerrilla Research Update, all of you will be able to loot 6 new weapon skins and one new Companion Voice Box!
The Resistance has found a way to express themselves and the chaos that they’re going through in these beautiful weapon looks. These skins will be added to Rival loot pools for everyone when the update drops!
Companion Voice Box: 56k
Inspired by 80s telecommunication sounds, this Voice Box is perfect for those missing the time when your mother had to hang up the phone if you wanted to download something from the internet. It will also be available from all suitable loot sources after the update. Listen to a preview
Last but not least, the ability to mute the Companion has been added in the form of the “Disconnected Voice Box”. Simply choose the option in your Companion customization menu and your trusty friend will be a silent protector from now on.
…AND MORE
As always, we have a slew of bug fixes and improvements that are also included in the update! Namely, we’ve made some performance enhancements and the game should now be running smoother. In future patches, we’re going to emphasize performance even more, so expect more of these changes coming soon.
The Kotenok finally displays the correct stats between the 4C and 5C variants. Machines have been made easier to loot and several quests have been updated to prevent mission blockers.
PC versions have received a significant change in performance when tabbed out of the game and multiple missing textures, terrain holes and missing collisions have been fixed.
We hope you enjoy this update as much as we did developing and testing it!

THE FABULOUS FEAST FAME PASS
Dress up for some culinary adventures with the Fabulous Feast Fame Pass, a food-themed buffet of Costumes to unlock to suit every palate. The tantalising takeaway is available from 10AM GMT 7th November to 10AM GMT 12th December.
The Hot and Fresh Costume is an a-dough-able pizza slice to wear. Toppings include pepperoni and hugs. Cooler heads might like the Melon Slush Costume. It’s a colourful cup with swirls and straw, and looks so tasty!
The Sweet or Salty Costume has both flavours of popcorn, in bucket pants or atop your head, so no need to choose!
Guac a load of the Avo-Guy-Do Costume, a ripe outfit that’s a half avocado sliced to the pit. It’s the perfect accompaniment to the Chipper Costume, a full bag of crisps that look good enough to dip.
You won’t spill anything in the Baked Beans Costume, despite being a full can with an open lid. We’re also far too amused with the bean-inspired Toot Emote. Yes, it’s a parp.
Our free Wearables are snack-sized unlocks for everyone. Look pan-tastic in the Stainless Helmet, go head over meals for the Chef Hat, or look a-peel-ing in the Banana Boots.
