Just a day after releasing the War Sails DLC alongside the v1.3.6 patch for Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord, Talesworlds has released a follow-up hotfix today that aims to resolve key issues from the DLC and base game.
While most of the fixes are centered on War Sails, there are still a handful of bugs squashed for the base game, which console owners will see as Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord update 1.027.
With the announcement of The Game Awards nominees, it's safe to say we have officially arrived at the season of news and rumors surrounding the event.
For the complete patch notes, head on below.
Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord’s November 27 Update Fixes Issues With War Sails and Base Game
War Sails v1.0.2
The following changes are specific to the War Sails expansion and are not part of the base game.
Changes
Improved the initial loading time of War Sails.
Troops
We increased the armor of high-tier Nord troops to enable them to fulfill their intended roles.
High-tier Nord armors have been buffed. This includes both body armor and shoulder pieces.
Nord Huscarls are now equipped with their intended armor.
Nord troops now use their intended helmets.
Nord troops also use gloves and vambraces in higher tiers.
Replaced high-tier longbows on lower-tier Nord archers with short bows.
Other
Added helmets to the northern marine troops who were missing them.
Nerfed Aserai mariner troops’ Bahriyyah’s bow.
Nerfed Battanian mariner troops’ javelins.
Further decreased the HP of Fahda’s ship from 4800 to 3100.
Fixes
Fixed an unhandled case where the Vlandian Merchants are defeated in the mission, but the player wins the mission (in the “Escort the merchants” quest).
Fixed a bug that prevented seeing quest-related dialogues after a save is loaded during the “Speak to Gunnar and Sister” quest.
During the second phase of the “Defeat The Sea Hounds” quest mission, ship controls for the captured enemy ship would stop working if the player exited the direct control mode. This was fixed.
Fixed an issue that prevented ally ships from attacking Purig’s ship and crew in the final storyline mission.
Crashes
Fixed a crash related to boarding in the second storyline mission. More specifically, this could occur after defeating the first sea hound ship, when making the choice about which ship to control in the dialogue with Gunnar.
Fixed a crash that occurred if you spammed F in conversation transition between Gunnar and your sister when the “Speak to Gunnar and Sister” quest was active.
Fixed a crash that occurred when trying to barter with your sister.
Fixed a crash that occurred when a lord party was trying to disembark.
Even though Black Friday doesn't officially start until, well, this Friday, the deals have already begun rolling out nationwide at many retailers, both online and in-store.
With the announcement of The Game Awards nominees, it’s safe to say we have officially arrived at the season of news and rumors surrounding the event. We are already seeing the effects behind the scenes, from the recent rating for a PC port of Death Stranding 2: On The Beach to Hasbro confirming that Exodus will be part of the The Game Awards lineup.
But this appears to be just the tip of the iceberg, as yet another recent move suggests that an announcement related to the Control franchise could be imminent.
This year, we brought to light that an unannounced Warhammer RPG, in development by the infant studio Thought Pennies, was cancelled around late 2024 due to a loss of funding from its publisher.
“Control: Resonant” Trademarked by Remedy
This speculation of ours is tied to a recent trademark discovery, as a product titled “CONTROL Resonant” has recently been registered in Europe. The product in question is classified under several tags, including video game services, miscellaneous products (likely for marketing purposes), and the production of entertainment in the form of TV series and cinematographic films.
Now, you might wonder whether this trademark is unrelated to the game franchise, since the owner’s information is hidden, but we can quickly dispel those doubts. If you look at the trademark representative listed in the description, you will see it’s “Nordia Attorneys at Law”, the same representative used by Remedy Entertainment for all of their trademarks.
But what could this project be about? As fans of the company know, a sequel to Remedy’s critically acclaimed game, Control, was announced back in 2022 and entered full production in February of this year. Therefore, it wouldn’t be unreasonable to assume this trademark is related to the sequel.
However, if we recall correctly, this isn’t the only project in the works for the franchise. Another major project revealed in 2022 was Remedy’s collaboration with Annapurna Interactive for the creation of film and TV series adaptations for both Control and the Alan Wake franchise.
It's no secret that Death Stranding 2 is coming to PC, even if it hasn't officially been announced yet by Kojima Productions.
Given that The Game Awards event is no stranger to announcements related to video game series and films, if we hypothesize that Control will have a presence at the event, a live-action project reveal would make sense. But an announcement tied to the main game’s sequel would be just as plausible.
Finally, it is worth noting that analysts currently project a 2027 release window for Control 2. Given this timeline, a teaser or reveal at this stage would fit the typical marketing cycle perfectly. However, until we receive word from the studio, we remain waiting for an official confirmation from Remedy.
Techland has unleashed a beastly update for Dying Light: The Beast today, and it adds a slew of new features all for free. Called the version 1.4 patch, console gamers will see this download as Dying Light: The Beast update 1.004 (complete version 1.004.0000), and this adds the community-requested New Game+ mode.
Alongside New Game+, players can also expect a significant visual upgrade with the implementation of ray tracing, and a slew of improvements to V-Sync, and more.
It's no secret that Death Stranding 2 is coming to PC, even if it hasn't officially been announced yet by Kojima Productions.
For the complete patch notes and new features, head on below.
Dying Light: The Beast New Game+ Added in via Patch 1.4/1.004
NEW GAME+
You can now replay Kyle’s story in New Game+ while keeping all gear, weapons and character progression from your first playthrough. Enemy difficulty is increased, but you’ll also encounter higher-tier weapons and loot to match the challenge. New Game+ can be repeated multiple times – each completed run further raises the game’s difficulty level and unlocks access to even stronger and rarer weapons, as well as the toughest enemies in Castor Woods.
LEGEND LEVELS
Legend Levels is the classic Dying Light end-game progression system that extends your character beyond the main skill tree. Once you reach Level 15, all earned XP is converted into Legend XP. Higher difficulty settings and higher New Game+ tiers increase XP gains, so the more you challenge yourself, the faster you progress.
Each Legend Level grants Legend Points that you can spend on passive upgrades such as increased health, improved combat stats and stronger Beast Mode performance. Every level also raises your maximum health by a fixed percentage, helping you stay competitive in higher NG+ tiers.
Legend Levels also introduce a large set of new rewards to unlock: 22 new weapons (melee and firearms, including vintage guns), 2 complete outfits (12 gear pieces) and new legendary vehicle skins.
Even though Black Friday doesn't officially start until, well, this Friday, the deals have already begun rolling out nationwide at many retailers, both online and in-store.
RAY TRACING
Ray tracing is now available, bringing even more realistic lighting, shadows, and reflections to the game, allowing you to experience our immersive and visually stunning world with enhanced atmosphere and depth.
How to enable ray tracing?
The suggested way to activate Ray Tracing is to set the Video Quality Preset in your game settings to Ultra. If you need more tweaking you can also enable or disable individual Ray Tracing options in the Advanced Video Settings menu to balance performance and visual quality.
System requirements:
A Ray Tracing capable graphics card (NVIDIA RTX, AMD RX 6000/7000 series, or Intel Arc)
At least 8 GB of video memory
16 GB recommended for 4k
Performance and Visuals
The game is designed so that all settings – from Low to Ultra – preserve the same core look and artistic style.
Ray Tracing improves reflections, lighting, and shadows, delivering more realistic visuals, though please note this may impact performance
If your system has trouble maintaining smooth performance, try selecting a preset below Ultra and tweak individual Ray Tracing settings for optimal results.
Please note when Ultra mode is enabled, Frame Generation is automatically turned on to improve frame rate.
VRR, V-Sync, and Input Latency
For best results, use a VRR (Variable Refresh Rate) display with a refresh rate of 60 Hz or higher. VRR may be labeled as FreeSync, G-Sync, or Adaptive Sync depending on your monitor.
If VRR is detected, the game automatically disables V-Sync to ensure the lowest input latency and smooth frame delivery.
If VRR is supported by your setup but disabled, please try to enable it in your system, driver settings or display settings. If VRR is not working still, please enable V-Sync manually in the game menu (Intel and AMD cards) or try enforcing it in the driver (Nvidia) to prevent screen tearing (if observed)
Note: Using Frame Generation may increase input lag, especially if V-Sync is on.
If controls feel delayed:
Enable VRR and disable V-Sync
Ensure Latency Reduction is enabled
If lag persists, disable Frame Generation or switch to a preset below Ultra
It was a big night for Lies of P: Overture at the 2025 Golden Joystick Awards, where the expansion took home the award for Best DLC.

ADDITIONAL FIXES AND IMPROVEMENTS
Environmental & navigational fixes:
Resolved over 200 parkour and environment navigation issues, including climbing and ledge-grab problems, as well as blocked traversal routes.
Adjusted multiple environmental elements – such as monkey bars, beams and scaffolding – to improve overall parkour flow.
Ziplines: fixed mismatched UI/action prompts for a more consistent gameplay experience, and addressed double-jump behaviour that could cause unfair falls.
Vault poles: added an interaction prompt to clearly indicate they can be used (similar to ziplines or ladders), and fixed double-jump behaviour that could lead to unintended falling.
Fixed a blocker in the High Noon quest that prevented players from progressing due to a specific rock formation asset.
Gameplay:
Reduced XP loss in Survival Mode through a global rebalance, with additional tuning focused on early-level XP loss and Night modifiers.
Streamlined early-game experience:
Reworked stamina curves to give players more stamina at the start of the game (total stamina remains unchanged), improving early combat encounters.
Added a rare weapon near the first campsite during the HUB1 quest to better reward exploration.
Introduced minor UI updates in the Skill Menu to make basic move sets more visible.
Reinforcements: adjusted reinforcement amounts when players chain noise-generating actions, especially when using firearms or explosions.
Vehicle challenges: improved obstacle destruction logic to prevent players from being blocked by objects that should be destroyed by the vehicle.
COOP fixes:
Resolved an issue where the host could get stuck on a black screen if another player cancelled and immediately restarted a COOP challenge.
Fixed several cases of Convoy activities spawning in front of players.
Fixed instances where AI did not exit the surrender animation.
Fixed an issue where the Banshee could float in the air when the biters she was standing on were killed.
Following Everstone Studios' announcement that Where Winds Meet has already amassed over two million players since it launched the studio is aware of the current issues the game is facing.
Performance & Stability:
Improved overall game stability by addressing frame rate drops, crashes and asserts across multiple systems, with over 35 issues resolved.
Graphical improvements:
Addressed over 70 visual issues, including incorrect textures, floating assets, clipping models and misaligned architecture.
Improved lighting and shadow rendering across multiple environments, including fixes for improperly lit interiors and exteriors, as well as various graphical artifacts.
UI and Audio:
Fixed a pop-up screen appearing on game launch when Epic and Steam accounts were connected.
Resolved discrepancies between VO and subtitles across multiple languages, with over 12 localization issues fixed.
Improved Quest Marker functionality by addressing multiple incorrect or missing markers.
Corrected instances of debug strings appearing during gameplay and fixed several UI display errors across menu sections.
Audio: resolved over 20 issues involving missing or incorrect sound effects, including weapon collision SFX and ambient audio during various missions.
Fixed several co-op audio problems, such as missing VO lines and dialogue synchronization issues.
With a patch this hefty, don’t be surprised if a follow-up update is required to fix any nagging issues. If ever we get one, we’ll be sure to let our readers know.
If you know someone who wants to get the game, Dying Light: The Beast is discounted in the PSN Store’s Black Friday sale.
Console gamers will see this download appear as ARC Raiders update 1.000.011, and this is a super small download, and while it doesn’t bring any new content to the table, it does fix some nasty bugs and exploits.
Exploit mitigation mechanisms have been added for all locked rooms across all maps.
Fixed the gun exploit that allowed you to shoot quicker than intended by swapping to a quick use item and back.
The exterior access to Spaceport’s Control Tower locked room has been blocked off.
Fixed the issue that sometimes caused low resolution textures in the Main Menu.
Fixed players being able to push each other by jumping on each other’s backs.
Fixed lighting artifacts that would sometimes occur upon entering maps.
Raider Voice now correctly respects the selected voice option after restarting the game.
Given the support the studio has shown, don’t be surprised to see another patch released before the big December content drop. While ARC Raiders players just got the North Line update this month, the official roadmap confirms we’ll be getting the Cold Snap update in December. We should be hearing more about it in the coming weeks, and once we know more info, expect it here on MP1st.

REPO players will see a new update available for download today, November 27, which will show up as version 0.3.2. This is a super small download, and is a minor update that addresses specific issues.
If you’re annoyed at the Tumble Climb stamina bug, rejoice! It should be fixed with this update.
Tumble Climb – Initial stamina drain now only affects the player who started climbing.
That’s about it for this week’s fix. There was a patch released two weeks ago that brought in balancing changes, which we’ve included for reference.
CHANGES
Toggle Grab – Items are no longer dropped when opening the pause menu.
Upgrade Tumble Launch – Renamed “Launch” to “Tumble Launch” for consistency in UI.
BALANCING
Tumble Climb – Stronger. Now scales with range upgrades. Consumes a percentage of max stamina, more upgrades will still lower stamina cost. Consumes a small stamina burst at the start of each grab. Acts more like a grappling hook now. Slightly more expensive in the shop.
Enemy Gambit – Money bag prize is now worth more.
Enemy Bella – Now attacks for half as long. Only rings bell at players she can reach. Bell ring count resets faster.
Enemy Loom – Does not give up while near players anymore, unless stuck or can’t reach the player.
Death Head Battery Upgrade – Reduced diminishing returns when stacking multiple upgrades.

Called Patch 6 by the devs, console gamers will see this download appear as Rematch update 1.201.201. Expect a ton of gameplay adjustments to be part of today’s rollout.
In this game mode, there are no goalkeepers, just several elevated goals to score in! The first team to reach 15 points wins. Interceptions and passes build a heat gauge, and the higher the heat, the more points you’ll score!
This game mode will be available for a limited time, from November 26th to December 3rd, 2025. During this event, the Quick Match 4v4 and 5v5 queues will be temporarily disabled on all platforms. We will look out for your reaction to the addition of this game mode, as well as the temporary removal of queues.

Players who leave Ranked games early will temporarily be unable to queue up for a short time. We’ll keep an eye on the reception and effectiveness of this feature and tweak it as needed

Aside from the War Sails expansion, all players will be required to dowbload the latest patch for the game that applies balance changes and various gameplay improvements.
Here are the major highlights you’ll find in v1.3.4…
Alliances & Trade Agreements Common enemies bring kingdoms closer to forming alliances, which encourages them to stand together against each other’s foes, while trade agreements incentivize caravan traffic between partner kingdoms.
Reworked War, Peace & Tribute Decision Scoring Each conflict is now evaluated through a refined war progress score, resulting in more logical declarations and outcomes, while reducing the number of short wars.
Stealth & Disguise Stealth and Disguise mechanics now power prison breaks, new hideout scenes, and hostile town infiltrations. Guards react to light, sound, and movement while you sneak, create distractions, eliminate targets quietly, and hide bodies. Disguise lets you scout and operate in hostile towns, though suspicious actions will quickly raise an alarm.
Fast Mode Fast Mode is a new optional module that can be selected from the launcher on PC. It speeds up the passage of time: years are shorter, characters age faster, while skill progression and population turnover are tuned to match, making multi-generation dynasties and succession easier to experience in a single playthrough.
Last week, we reported that Electronic Arts is pushing a free trial for Battlefield 6 this week, which we're assuming is to capitalize on the Black Friday consumer madness.
Deserters & Patrol Parties War now has additional consequences. After battles, fleeing survivors may regroup into tougher roaming bands, especially in war-torn regions. Towns can counter this by building Guard Houses, which produce patrol parties that protect villages, fight bandits, and assist nearby battles.
Random Events These short moments of decision break up l
Parley with Enemy This feature lets you start conversations with nobles inside enemy settlements from a safe distance, without immediately risking a full battle.
Movement Control over Caravans Through dialogue, you can change a caravan’s home town and instruct it to avoid specific kingdoms. Caravans were also adjusted to focus on maximizing trade amounts, value, and profits.
Reworked Army & Party AI Armies and parties now keep a closer eye on their strength, wounded troops, and food when choosing targets or deciding whether to press on, pull back, or disband, which cuts down on detrimental marches and makes their actions more calculated.
Reworked Settlement Projects We reworked settlement projects to balance impactful and situational projects, while introducing new options that give the player finer control over how they develop and manage their fief.
Recruiting Notables as Supporters You can now recruit notables as supporters via dialogue. With enough relation and a one-time payment, they’ll back your clan, generating daily influence and shifting loyalty in your favor, but if relations drop too low, they can withdraw that support.
It's no secret that Death Stranding 2 is coming to PC, even if it hasn't officially been announced yet by Kojima Productions.
New Weapon – Slings We also expanded the arsenal. Slings offer a fast ranged option with multiple ammo types, giving both you and certain troops a new way to pressure enemies at range.
Post-Knockout Troop Takeover You can now take direct control of another troop after getting knocked out in battles and sieges. Less spectating, more raiding!
Crouched Ranged Attacks & Reloading You can fire and reload while crouching with short bows, light crossbows, throwing knives, and throwing rocks, letting you stay low behind cover or move more naturally during both stealth missions and regular battles.
Overhauled Spear Bracing Spearmen will now fight with their spears more often, switching to swords when close combat makes it the better choice. Spear bracing has been reworked with smoother animations and improved aiming. AI also targets the riders more accurately while bracing, making properly timed spear walls far better at stopping cavalry that tries to push through.
Improved Melee, Ranged & Cavalry AI Melee, ranged, and cavalry AI troops received improvements to targeting and movement. Cavalry charges and tracks targets in a more refined way, horse archers move with less zig-zagging and stay with their formations more. Melee troops now aim better and don’t shy away from mounted enemies. Ranged units lead projectiles at moving targets more effectively, better avoid friendly fire, and hold position once they are in good range.
Even though Black Friday doesn't officially start until, well, this Friday, the deals have already begun rolling out nationwide at many retailers, both online and in-store.
New Main Menu Videos, Armour Pieces, Weapons, Shields, Scabbards & Holsters New main menu videos were introduced for each culture, and several new armour pieces and equipment sets were added, including items that support stealth gameplay. Sturgia in particular received new shields and cultural bonuses, while newly added scabbards and holsters polish the overall look of troops.
Overhauled Mission Atmospheres We fine-tuned atmosphere visuals with updated lighting and improved skybox textures. Towns, castles, and other scenes now have a greater range of custom environments tailored to cover specific times of day, together with improved global illumination.
New Music & Sounds To further improve the immersion, we introduced new music and ambient sounds to support stealth missions, as well as broader audio additions.
Import/Export Hero Cheats If you like to tweak your campaigns, new Import and Export options let you edit hero equipment, skills, attributes, gold, and appearance through save files and bring those changes back into the game.
Expanded Modding Capabilities We expanded modding support with a wide range of new options. We added FMOD audio event support, made atmospheres and campaign time moddable, and introduced new ways to influence AI and mission behaviour through agent and weapon settings. We also added better support for custom world maps and a new XML Editor. Many of these improvements were inspired by feedback from our modding community.
Mount & Blade: Bannerlord War Sails Features Overview
With War Sails, we’re bringing full naval warfare to Bannerlord for the first time. You’ll be able to command your own ships, lead fleets across the seas, and take part in large-scale naval battles as part of your campaign.
War Sails is a single-player expansion that plugs directly into the base game: new region & faction, new naval battles, and a lot of ways to get into trouble on the water.
The Nords & the Northern Kingdom War Sails adds a new Viking-inspired faction: the Nords, based in the northern region.
You’ll travel through jagged coasts, taiga forests, and frozen fjords, visiting scattered settlements that feel almost like ships rising from the sea. There, you can trade, recruit warriors, work with Nord clans, or try to challenge their power yourself.
Naval Battles We’ve built a naval system inspired by historical medieval sea battles. You’ll command ships that are affected by wind and waves, decide when to ram, when to board, and when to keep your distance.
You can seize opportunities by boarding already engaged ships, prepare for an incoming attack by creating a floating fortress, or take a risk to tie down several enemies at once – giving your allies an edge elsewhere. You may also ram an enemy ship to sink it – or at least throw men off board, shatter oars, and compromise buoyancy.
Well-placed arrows and ballista fire can also ignite and destroy enemy sails and ships, forcing crews to abandon their stations.
It’s no secret that Death Stranding 2 is coming to PC, even if it hasn’t officially been announced yet by Kojima Productions. Still, seeing the first game did eventually make its way over, the news of a PC version happening for the sequel should come as no surprise.
It’s not really a matter of if, but a matter of when, and it looks like it might be happening real soon, as the PC version has received an official ESRB rating.
Even though Black Friday doesn't officially start until, well, this Friday, the deals have already begun rolling out nationwide at many retailers, both online and in-store.
Death Stranding 2 PC Version Is All But Confirmed
Death Stranding fans who have been holding out for the PC version of Death Stranding 2, we have some good news for you, as the ESRB has officially rated Death Stranding 2 for PC. Now, there’s nothing new about the rating itself in terms of the content of what the PS5 version had, but the rating does at least confirm that the PC version is coming, as typically the ESRB doesn’t issue a rating for non-existent games. There is one interesting tidbit: it looks like Sony is publishing this release, whereas the original Death Stranding was outsourced to 505 Games.
As for when it’s coming? Well, that’s anyone’s guess, but with The Game Awards happening soon, we’re fully expecting the announcement to be made there. Whether or not Kojima Productions is showing anything else off, specifically OD or Physint, that’s anyone’s guess.
Death Stranding 2: On the Beach was previously released as a PS5 exclusive this past June. With the PC version all but confirmed, we’re expecting it to be released likely around the same time next year, if not earlier. Expect plenty of PC-specific features to arrive with the new release.

HoYoverse has just released Zenless Zone Zero version 2.4 (2.400.000 on PS5), which is a major update, adding a new quest in the Pantheon storyline, a new playable banner agent, events, and so much more.
Here’s a look at all the major content that is now live for players to try out.
Even though Black Friday doesn't officially start until, well, this Friday, the deals have already begun rolling out nationwide at many retailers, both online and in-store.
Zenless Zone Zero Version 2.4 “On the Precipice of the Abyss” Has Arrived
Here’s the highlight of the patch (via Press release)
“With the assistance of the Krampus Compliance Authority — a TOPS-affiliated enforcement organization tasked with disciplinary oversight — the Proxies successfully averted a disaster beneath Timesworn Hill and glimpsed deeper mysteries waiting within Yidhari’s dreamscape. Fleeting visions revealed the figures of Sarah and Ye Shiyuan together — an unexpected sight, given that the senior member of Yunkui Summit is not thought to be involved in the conspiracy of the Exaltists and their Creator. Meanwhile, his younger sister, Ye Shunguang, now ascended as the new master of the Qingming Sword, joins the Proxies to embark on a journey to uncover the truth. As the Miasma recedes, the old mining site buried a decade ago resurfaces, hinting at new dangers and unseen forces stirring once more.
Amid the shifting order and chaos, two agents join the fray. Dialyn, an S-Rank Physical Stun Agent from Krampus brings her experience as a cheeky customer service specialist to the battlefield. Using two unique resources, Customer Complaint and Positive Review, she excels at stunning enemies while calling up teammates to directly unleash their Ultimate abilities in combat, amplifying the team’s damage. Banyue, an S-Rank Fire Rupture agent and a revered martial arts master, has fused countless techniques into a combination style of immense power and splendor. His combat technique relies on alternating Adrenaline and Wrathful Fires to sustain his continuous actions and fluid combos, rewarding players who master his rhythm.
Two new Bangboo companions also join the battlefield in Version 2.4. Birkblick from Krampus features a multifunctional sensor array that transforms into a floating cannon during combat, scanning and bombarding targets with energy blasts. Meanwhile, the cheerful Bild N. Boolok wields a massive block hammer to smash enemies.
Beyond these new arrivals, Version 2.4 also welcomes back Agents Hugo (Attack – Ice) and Ellen (Attack – Ice). The beloved Bangboo auto chess event also returns with new upgrades — now featuring PvE special stages and offering exclusive rewards, including a free Bild N. Boolok. Meanwhile, the event Lightstream Notes invites players to enjoy New Eridu alongside Ye Shunguang, discovering fleeting moments of lightheartedness amid the deepening shadows.”
Now, get out there, agents, we have a new mystery to unravel!

Summary –
Best Brand OLED Choice: LG – Very expensive, but offers some of the best picture quality for an OLED brand.
Best Brand QLED and QD-Mini LED: TCL – Deals under $1000, even for their biggest size. Best dollar/per inch, and offers a premium experience without breaking the bank. QD-Mini LED technology has become very competitive compared to OLEDs.
If You Can Afford It, Go Big on an OLED
There are only two big-name brands I really recommend: Sony and LG. Samsung would also be a recommendation, though that’s only after you’ve done enough research into whichever set you want from them. I’ve owned Samsung for years, and it’s usually my go-to brand, given some of the steep discounts they roll out from time to time. But as a long-time owner and someone who works in consumer installation and repairs for internet and television providers (as in cable service), they are the brand I see with the most ssues. Still, their LED line has served me well over the past few years, so it’s one of those things you’ll want to do a lot of research on.
Following Everstone Studios' announcement that Where Winds Meet has already amassed over two million players since it launched the studio is aware of the current issues the game is facing.
LG is going to get the hard recommendation here, but only because they’ve been at the OLED game for so long and in many cases offer the more “affordable” pricing over Sony. You don’t win the best OLED television award for twelve years straight without backing it up, and LG has undoubtedly proven to be one of the most dominating manufacturers when it comes to OLED technology. I’m still rocking an LG OLED C2 as my PC monitor (that’sright, a TV as a monitor), which came out three years ago, and I’m still being blown away by how incredible the picture quality, colors, and black-and-white contrast are. Of course, since then, the company has launched new and improved versions of their C series (now on C5) along with other flagship series, the G5 and M5.
You can’t go wrong with any of them, but fair warning, they’re insanely expensive. A majority of their sets retail for thousands before any discounts, which is why so many wait for these yearly deals to drop, as many sets see upwards of $1000 or more off. I can tell you, I didn’t pay anywhere near full price for my C2, but being a 43 inch, it was still on the pricey side for dollar per inches.
Yeah, I’m not kidding when I say they’re expensive, but hey, if money isn’t a problem, then an LG OLED should be the set your looking at. Not only are they fantastic for movies, TV shows, and live events, but they’re also incredible for both gaming and PC use. While many PC gamers will likely be looking at monitors that can support insane frame rates, an OLED television isn’t a bad alternative, especially since you get more inches per dollar than with an OLED monitor.
Of course, that all depends on your setup too, so if the space at your desk limits you, then the LG UltraGear OLED series is an excellent choice. LG is the first to have a 5K2K monitor that supports refresh rates of up to 165Hz in UHD (4K), and 330Hz in full HD (1080p).
For those looking for the centerpiece of their entertainment, LG currently has deals running on a number of its OLEDs that see the price marked down by $500 to even a few thousand dollars.
Although LG has the awards, Sony OLEDs, specifically, the Bravia line, do have LG’s OLEDs beaten in many areas. For one, I think their motion handling, processing, and upscaling technology are much better. The Sony Bravia XR A90J is, in my opinion, one of the best OLEDs out there, but it also comes with a price to match its status as the “best.” We’re talking $1500-$2000 for their smallest set, when LG can have them beat at around $1000.
But again, if you’re already looking at a Sony Bravia, well, money probably isn’t a big concern for you. Sony’s Black Friday deals see discounts between $250 to up to $1200 on some sets.
Now, if it’s an OLED monitor, Sony has their new INZONE line, which, for OLED, are the M9 II and M10s. They both come in at 27″, with the M9 II being a full 4K with 160Hz support, whereas the M10s is a 1440P monitor, with 480Hz support. As a PC gamer, I would settle for 1440P over 4K, given how demanding 4K can be. 1440P is a good in-between, and with high refresh rates, that’s where you’re going to see the difference the most, especially in competitive games. Current deals slash $250 off both models.
On a Tighter Budget? QLEDs and QD-Mini LEDs Offer Affordability, With Picture Quality, Coloring, and Brightness Levels Competitive to OLEDs
Everyone always says to go with an OLED, but given how pricey they can be, paying what can amount to thousands of dollars is a very tough thing to swallow. Luckily, there is an alternative, one that has been catching up to OLED technology in just the last few years while remaining at a significantly lower price in most cases. I’m talking QD-Mini LEDs and QLEDs. QLEDs use quantum dot technology in combination with LED, where QD-Mini LEDs, as the name would suggest, use tiny LEDs. Both forms of technology are fantastic, but QD-Mini LEDs seem to be catching on a whole lot more in the television space, thanks to their advantages in contrast, color, and HDR.
While we're still knee-deep in Season 1 of Battlefield 6, the latest update for the game not only implemented gameplay improvements, but it also had data for the game's upcoming seasons.
While I’ve yet to come across a QLED or QD-Mini LED that offers near true blacks like an LG or Sony OLED, they are nearing that level of darkness every year as the technology continues to advance.
But leading the pack in QLEDs and QD-Mini LEDs, it would have to be TCL. If you had asked me what I thought of TCL televisions over a decade ago, I would have probably said to take a look at another brand. But over the last few years, the company has really been taking charge of innovation in the consumer space, while remaining reasonably affordable. And that last part, I really mean it, because most of their sets cost only a fraction of the competitors while offering some of the best-in-class image and features.
To put things into perspective, if you wanted to buy the biggest television (98″) on their site that uses QD-Mini LED, it would set you back only $5000 before any discounts. Compared to Samsung’s QD-Mini LED Neo line, which starts at about $15,000 before discounts, or to an LG OLED, which can cost anywhere between $15,000-$25,000. Of course, the latter is a different technology, but that price difference is drastic. I’d argue that TCL has both these brands beaten when it comes to features, too, supporting an array of what would be considered “premium” things, found in what I consider to be budget-friendly TVs.
All their QMK televisions are on sale right now, with many at 50% off or more off. The fact that you can find an 85″ QD-Mini LED for under $1000 is an insane value. I reviewed the TCL QM7 last year, and it ended up being one of the best televisions I have ever tested. This is the go-to brand if you’re looking for something that’s going to give you a next-gen experience, at an affordable price.
The QMK Series isn’t the only line of QLEDs and QD-Mini LEDs that TCL has on sale either, as their newly released line, the iFFALCON, is also on sale for a limited time, dropping below $1000 for their biggest sets.
Shift Up, the studio behind Stellar Blade, previously confirmed it was already working on a sequel.
I’ve also been pleased with my Samsung QLED in my living room. I use it mainly for TV shows and movies. They are a little pricier depending on the series, and as I mentioned, I would do a bit of research on them, as a common complaint is quality control. I’ve been happy with them, though, and own two separate sets. Their black and HDR levels aren’t as good as the TCL model that I have, but if you’re going for size and pricing, they might have TCL beaten with some of their models.
Honestly, some pretty good Black Friday deals on TVs from all the brands. There are other brands out there, though, for the best picture quality and features, these would be my top picks with LG being the overall OLEDs if you can afford dropping potentially a few thousand dollars, and TCL for QD-mini LEDs and QLEDs for prices that are far more friendly, yet maintain quality that is up there with a premium experience.
Last week, we reported that Electronic Arts is pushing a free trial for Battlefield 6 this week, which we're assuming is to capitalize on the Black Friday consumer madness.

It was a big night for Lies of P: Overture at the 2025 Golden Joystick Awards, where the expansion took home the award for Best DLC. The win marks another milestone for Neowiz and the team behind one of the most successful souls-like games of recent years.
Following the award, Lies of P director Choi Ji-won spoke briefly about the next game in the series, often referred to as Lies of P 2.
Shift Up, the studio behind Stellar Blade, previously confirmed it was already working on a sequel.
Lies of P Sequel Promises to Exceed Expectations
While it doesn’t yet have an official title, Choi assured fans in an interview with GamesRadar that the sequel “will not disappoint,” highlighting the hard work and achievements of the team during Overture’s development as proof of what players can expect next.
Choi went on to explain that Overture was approached almost like a full sequel rather than a traditional expansion. The lessons learned from that project, he said, will play a major role in shaping the upcoming game. With 15 to 20 hours of content, Overture stands out as one of the most ambitious DLCs of the year.
Building on that success, the director promised that the next chapter would push the series even further. Although it hasn’t been officially revealed yet, the sequel has been in development for some time. Neowiz is currently working on at least 5 projects, but the team remains fully committed to making the new Lies of P entry their best work yet.
When asked what fans can expect from Lies of P developers in the future, Choi said, “You can expect the most fun that we can achieve within the game.” He added, “Please stay tuned for it; we are working really hard, and I will not disappoint you at all.”
It’s worth noting that Lies of P is unlikely to receive any major new content updates beyond minor bug fixes, as the developers are now focused on the confirmed sequel. The last Lies of P update was released on September 22, 2025, fixing a specific issue where some players couldn’t obtain the “Extreme Potential” achievement after using the “P-Organ Recalibration” system.
Blizzard Entertainment has released a new Overwatch 2 update focused on fixing several gameplay bugs and improving stability. For console players, this patch appears as version 4.16/1.000.080.
The update includes general minor fixes for gameplay and Stadium mode to improve overall performance. For the complete patch notes, check them out below.
Shift Up, the studio behind Stellar Blade, previously confirmed it was already working on a sequel.
Overwatch 2 Retail Patch Notes for November 26
General Bug Fixes
Fixed an issue where Junkrat’s Mythic skin could cause the game to freeze when selecting certain components.
Stadium Bug Fixes
Fixed an issue in Stadium where Lucio’s Radio Edit power remained active even after being removed from the build loadout. This power is now available again.
Fixed an issue where Winston’s Salvaged Slugs mod did not reduce his ammo when using primary fire.
As you can tell, this isn’t a major update, as it mainly fixes small bugs and minor issues. The Overwatch 2 Season 19 mid-season update, Patch 4.15/1.000.079, was released on November 11, 2025, and was a much bigger patch overall. It added the limited-time Spirit Showdown and Junkrat’s Loot Hunt events, along with hero balance changes, lore updates, and several bug fixes across all platforms.
If Blizzard Entertainment releases another update soon, we’ll make sure to let you know right away here at MP1st.
Following the hotfix for Fallout 4 released last week that didn’t really resolve some of the game’s key issues, Bethesda has released the game’s big November update, which aims to do just that.
Console gamers should see today’s download appear as Fallout 4 update 1.41/1.000.006, and this is a small download that aims to resolve some key issues plaguing players for quite some time now.
It's finally here! The best PlayStation Store sale of the year is here, and it's the annual Black Friday PSN Store deals! As one might expect, this one brings the goods in full force.
Not only that, but all players of Fallout 4 should receive the Varmint Rifle, which is the first of many planned Creations content drops. For the complete list of changes made, read on.

Console players hoping the November update added storage expansion, Bethesda said they need a bit more time before they roll out this community-requested feature,
There’s also a December update planned set to be released in the coming weeks. Bethesda also added, “In the meantime, to help prepare for mod storage expansion, console players may want to ensure their mod load order is protected.”
Once the December patch is out, expect it here on MP1st.
Ubisoft has pushed out the latest major update for Assassin’s Creed Shadows, and this one brings a collab with the Attack on Titan franchise. Not only that, but it also brings a new story quest for free to eceryone who owns the base game.
The developers call this the 1.1.6 patch, but on consoles, it will appear as Assassin’s Creed Shadows update 1.016.033, and it is a hefty download on all platforms.

Special Collaboration: Attack On Titan
With a kidnapped Titan-Shifter as their weapon, a mysterious, power-hungry faction has infiltrated feudal Japan, setting their sights on total domination.
But when an attempt to rescue the Shifter fails, the lone survivor (with a dark secret) recruits Naoe and Yasuke to help her stop the group from unleashing the terror of a Titan on Japan.
Please note that this is a time-limited quest that is available from November 25th – December 22nd.
The quest giver is in the Yamashiro region, North of Hanazo Tower (the icon is displayed on the map). Note that the quest will not be within the objective board until the player interacts with the quest giver.
Unlock conditions: Unlock Yasuke as a playable character.
During the quest, players can find customization for their hideout (banners and a statue) and upon quest completion, players will earn a crystal katana for Naoe.
Alongside the story quest, there will also be an Attack on Titan Dual Pack. Inspired by the Attack on Titan universe, this pack will include outfits, weapons, trinkets, and a new mount. Available from the in-game store starting November 25th.
Starting with Assassin’s Creed Origins, the series began to include more role-playing elements.
New Story Quest: A Puzzlement
Who is up for some friendly competition?
“A Puzzlement” is the 3rd story drop coming to Assassin’s Creed Shadows. In this fun and humorous quest, Naoe and Yasuke encounter two old acquaintances having a loud argument about a mysterious door in south Wakasa. They task our protagonists with figuring out how to open it.
During the quest, Naoe and Yasuke will learn new skills from each other:
Naoe will learn how to perform her own spectacular version of Yasuke’s war kick ability.
Yasuke will learn how to stealthily dispatch enemies in a non-lethal way.
You may also finally be able to settle the debate as to who would win in a straight up duel between our two protagonists. Have no fear, the duel is purely friendly, and totally harmless.
As the name suggests, “A Puzzlement”, also introduces a brand new and intricate environmental puzzle for players to discover.
Corrupted Castles
Improvements have also been made to Corrupted Castles. The chances of encountering the same castles from the previous season have been reduced, and the available castles each season will now provide a better distribution of Daisho per castles.
Following Everstone Studios' announcement that Where Winds Meet has already amassed over two million players since it launched the studio is aware of the current issues the game is facing.

Added 6 Heroic Weapons and 8 Armour Pieces to unlock with Accolades.

GAMEPLAY AND BALANCING TWEAKS
Assault – New Feature
Added a set of Jump Pack Dash attacks for Assault, that are much quicker and responsive than normal sprint attacks. Dash attacks should be affected by all perks that affect Sprint attacks as well.
Change from PTS: Jump Dash attacks deal 50% more damage
We are going to continue expanding and improving sandbox gameplay for all classes. After Assault, it’s going to be Tactical’s and Vanguard’s turn, however those changes will not be in Patch 12 as we would like to focus on Tech Marine.
Melee
Power Axe:
Chained Whirl Slash now can be performed after Overhead Strike.
Overhead Strike damage is increased by 50%.
Perk “Riposte” became a default behaviour – After performing a Power Backstep, hold attack to perform an Overhead Strike.
Perk “Riposte” is changed – Overhead strike damage after Backstep is doubled.
Blocking versions can now enter Power Stance.
Heroic Double Edge Relic (Chainsword):
“Trampling Stride” Perk now works with a Heroic Perk Combo.
Double Heavy Combo now can be performed after a Whirl Slash sprint attack.
Heroic Power Gladius (Power Knife):
Damage buff now lasts for 1 second after the first instance of damage instead of being wasted on a single enemy.
Change from PTS: Fixed issue where damage buff lasted indefinitely.
Firearms
Heavy Bolt Rifle: Base damage increased by 13%.
Heroic Combi-Melta (Bolt Rifle): Increase damage by 15% for both Bolter and Melta firing modes.
Multi-Melta: The change allowing the player to shoot from the standing position immediately after firing from the blind (removing the previous delay) has been reverted. The interval between shots is now enforced when transitioning to the standing position.
Bolt Pistol: Base damage increased by 13.5%.
Volkite Pistol: Base damage and volkite explosion damage increased by 10%.
Patch 11 Heroic Weapon Changes from PTS
Heroic Heavy Bolt Pistol:
Increase Gun Strike damage by 20%.
Add 6 ammo to max capacity.
Heroic perk will now instantly kill enemy enemies that are calling for reinforcement.
Heroic Sniper Bolt Rifle: All ammo restore perks will not trigger when using this weapon.
While it was clear that its a very powerful weapon in PTS, we don’t want to reduce its effectiveness, but we do want to raise its skill cap.
Heroic Thunder Hammer: Assault’s Ground Pound will also spawn a shock zone.
Heroic Power Fist:
Damage bonus for light attacks is increased to 200%.
Increase radius for heroic perk activation to 15 meters.
Issue Fixed: Sometimes perk didn’t activate properly.
Heroic Heavy Bolter:
Works like a fencing weapon as originally intended.
Fixed UI display of accuracy value.
Classes
Tactical
Signal Jammer: The perk has been reworked.
Old: “Enemies marked by Auspex Scan cannot call for reinforcements and automatically explode upon attempting to do so.”
New: “After marking an enemy with Auspex Scan, other enemies cannot call for reinforcement and automatically explode upon attempting to do so for 90 seconds.”
Sniper
Precision Targeting: Now perk works against Extremis and Terminus-level enemies.
Guardian Protocol: Removed cooldown.
Ambush: Now also slows down nearby enemies for 10 sec.
Bulwark
Emergency Countermeasure: Cooldown is decreased from 90 to 45 seconds.
Vanguard
For too long, Vanguard’s role was to be a vessel for the squad’s healing perks. With these changes, we want to reinforce ranged/melee hybrid playstyle for him. But we are not entirely done with Vanguard changes. We would like to take a closer look at his ability.
Grapnel Launcher damage now scales based on difficulty.
Retribution: The perk has been reworked.
Old: “After you are grabbed or knocked back, you deal 30% more Melee Damage for 20 seconds.”
New: “When your Ranged weapon’s magazine is empty, Melee Damage increases by 25%.”
Change from PTS: Damage buff increased from 20 to 25%.
Moving Target: The perk has been reworked.
Old: “Each Melee Attack you land reduces the Ranged Damage you take by 5% (up to 30%). If you do not land a Melee Attack for 5 seconds, the effect ends.”
New: “Killing an enemy at a range of 30m or more restores Ability Charge by 5%.”
Tenacity: The perk has been reworked.
Old: “After killing 10 enemies within 5 seconds, Diving Kick’s Damage increases by 40% for 15 seconds.”
New: “After a Ranged kill Majoris-level or higher enemy, Diving Kick’s Damage increases by 130%. Cooldown 15 seconds.”
Change from PTS: Fix interaction between Shock Wave perk and Tenacity caused by double damage scaling.
Collateral Damage: Increase damage by Diving Kick to 50%.
Inner Fire: Now works according to description.
Assault
Act of Attrition: The perk has been reworked.
Old: “Enemies hit by Melee Attacks take 15% more Damage for 3 seconds.”
New: “Enemies hit by Damage from Melee Attacks executed while sprinting or dashing Melee Attacks take 25% more Damage for 5 seconds.“
Battlefield Conditions
Great Responsibility: Increased HP bonus from 100% to 150%.
Retirement Barge: Reduced HP debuff from 66% to 50%.
Poorly Fit Suit: Reduced damage by 33%.
Equipment Malfunction: restricted from appearing on the Exfiltration mission.
This change is going to open a huge can of worms for gameplay balancing, but it has to be done. The game damage numbers should not be restricted by net code and should be accurate all of the time. We will be monitoring which builds and perks combinations will become problematic. It’s pretty clear that some damage buffs combinations from multiple sources are already insane (looking at you Blocking Power Fist). For now, have fun.
Sniper damage buff from Cloak Ability lasts a little bit longer to fully affect entire burst and full auto weapons.
Improved sound indication for unparriable attacks.
Pyrecannon Heavy Stance behavior with sprint now matches other heavy weapons.
After its release earlier this month, Activision has now set Call of Duty: Black Ops 7's first season rollout for December 4! Same as with any other season of Call of Duty, expect new maps, weapons, modes, and a lot more.
