The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered Update 2.000.010 Fixes Missing Campaign Unlockables

[summaraize]

Yesterday’s content patch for The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered, which coincided with the release of the game on PC, should have been a time to enjoy the game. But for some, the update released for it became a bane, as it caused issues witht the campaign. Naughty Dog seeks to amend that with The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered update 2.000.010 download that’s out on PS5.

This should fix any issues related to missing items in your campaign, though there’s a lot more to it than that.

The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered Campaign Unlockables Missing Issue Fixed in Patch 2.000.010

The issue fixed by in this patch is the following:

  • Restores campaign unlockables, such as additional weapon holster and skill points, which had previously been lost after continuing progress from a save created prior to Patch 2.0.0.

Naughty Dog adds, “To ensure progress is restored, players should access save files created prior to April 3, 2025 at 10 am PT/1 pm ET to restore lost unlockables. Earned unlockables may still be lost if you continue to play from a save created after April 3, 2025 and before updating to patch 2.0.1.”

Aside from this issue, Naughty Dog is also aware of players losing access to No Return skins previously obtained before the 2.0.0 patch. The studio advises players affected to reach out to their feedback page for help. Based on the studio’s wording, more patches seem to be on the way.

Those on PC, no word yet on when you can expect a patch, but based on the community, there’s a handful of issues plaguing players.

  • Audio issues (skipping)
  • Crashing at specific instances of the campaign
  • Various animation glitches in cutscenes.

Outside of that, the game’s performance on PC seems to be doing fine.

Have you noticed any issues on PC or on the PS5 after the patch (aside from the missing unlockables)? If so, leave a comment and let the other players know.

Helldivers 2 Turnaround Inspired by One of Gaming’s Best Redemption Arcs According to CEO

[summaraize]

When Helldivers 2 launched, it reached heights never-before-seen by a PlayStation game on PC. While players were happy with how Arrowhead Games Studio handled the live-service aspect of the game, it ran into a huge roadblock when Sony suddenly mandated gamers on PC to register for a PlayStation Network (PSN) account if they wanted to play the game.

This resulted in the game getting review-bombed on Steam to the point that it dipped to a 19% approval rating. Thankfully, Sony heard the backlash and pulled back on its PSN requirement.

Behind the scenes, things were not in a good place either, when the PSN brouhaha was happening, as most of the Helldivers 2 devs based in Sweden went on vacation since they haven’t taken one in years. This put newly-placed CEO Shams Jorjani in quite a dilemma.

Helldivers 2 CEO Said They Were Inspired by No Man’s Sky, Given Both Games Had a Similar Journey

Helldivers 2 Update 1.001.203

Speaking to The Game Business, Jorjani explained the situation they were in when he came in as CEO of the studio in May last year.

According to Jorjani, “When I was asked to step in [as CEO], they gave me the keys to the car… and told me: ‘we’re going off on vacation, because we haven’t been taking much over the last few summers. And I was like: ‘we’re running a live service game, people can’t be off for the next three months!’ But that’s what happens in Sweden. We take our summer vacations very seriously.”

And then it got worse, as that’s when Hermen Hulst, then co-CEO of Sony Interactive Entertainment, called. Jorjani had to explain that while they didn’t have a short-term plan to fix things, they did have a long-term one.

“Maybe the lowest point during my tenure so far. I had to explain to the CEO why things were in the state they were, and what we were going to do to recover. And I had to say the awkward truth that there is nothing we can do in the short term. But in the long term, we have plans that will get us back on track,” per Jorjani.

This was when Arrowhead announced its 60-Day plan in August last year, which outlined some of the big changes incoming to players if they were patient enough. Jorjani admits they were inspired by Hello Games’ No Man’s Sky, since both games had a “similar journey.”

Jorjani adds, “I was inspired by No Man’s Sky and the team over there. They had a similar journey. The game was hyped, then bombed, and then they put the head to the grindstone and just updated the game.”

(Editor’s Note: For context, Helldivers 2 and No Man’s Sky had vastly different launches. While Helldivers 2 was a massive hit out of the gate, No Man’s Sky was very buggy and performed well below expectations).

For those unfamiliar with No Man’s Sky’s development and release, the sci-fi action-adventure game was revealed in 2013 with so much hype by Sony and even studio boss, Sean Muray. There was a ton of promises made that unfortunately, weren’t kept when the game was released in 2016. This resulted in a massive backlash against the game and the studio.

However, instead of giving up, Murray and his studio worked non-stop on updating the game for years. Slowly but surely, the studio managed to live up to its promise. Today, almost 10 years later, No Man’s Sky has a thriving player base and is still getting massive support from the studio.

It’s safe to say, Helldivers 2 has recovered from the backlash, and from a 19% Steam rating, it has climbed up to positive rating on the platform. It’s proof that even if a game launched with issues or it stumbles big-time along the way, there is a chance to turn things around.

Remedy and FBC: Firebreak Interview – Unraveling The Oldest House

[summaraize]

While Remedy Entertainment is mostly known for big budget single-player games with an engrossing narrative, the studio is taking a huge departure to what they’re known for with FBC: Firebreak; a multiplayer co-op game based in the same universe as Control (and Alan Wake).

MP1st got the chance to talk to Remedy as part of our FBC: Firebreak preview, and we asked a lot of sutff about development budgets, the game’s live-service component and more.

Answering the questions were Thomas Puha (Communications Director),  and FBC: Firebreak game director Mike Kayatta.

Unraveling FBC: Firebreak With Remedy Entertainment

MP1st: What performance is FBC aiming for at launch on consoles and PC?

Thomas Puha, Communications Director:  We are aiming to have, as always, as great a technical performance as possible across all the platforms. But especially with an online game, there’s some things we’ll only really know once the game is out there. No matter how much closed technical testing we do on things like matchmaking, etc, before launch.

We are aiming for lower PC requirements than Remedy games traditionally have as we want to ensure a wider variety of PC’s can run FBC: Firebreak, so we’ll be Steam Deck Verified for example. Of course, we always wanted to make our games playable to a wider audience in the past as well, but it didn’t always work out that way.

While PVP is different from PVE that we are making, in a game like this, the responsiveness and frame rate are key, so we’ve focused a lot on ensuring those are smooth as possible, but as I’m sure you can see from the trailers and videos, FBC: Firebreak looks really good too, so we haven’t had to compromise too much on the visual side of things.

MP1st: Based on the preview event, Remedy has said there are no FOMO Battle Passes, but there will be cosmetics that can be purchased with real-world money. Based on this, the game is not going to use the now-standard Season Pass/Battle Pass business model confirmed? But there will be purchasable currency packs?

Thomas Puha, Communications Director: We’re not going to have any time-restricted content delivery mechanisms. That’s what we mean by no FOMO.

Firebreak is a mid-priced game, however all future post launch playable content will be free. Separate from this, we will be implementing both free and paid cosmetics, such as wearables, weapon skins and some other things, nothing that will influence gameplay.

We’ll be revealing more about our post launch a bit later, but ultimately we can confirm that none of this content will be released on limited time rotation. We want to ensure that whether you play daily or play every other week, you’ll have the opportunity to acquire all the same items.

MP1st: Remedy has said FBC: Firebreak is AA. What constitutes a game to be classified as AA? Its launch sale price? Smaller team? I mean, we want to say the development budget, but those are almost always never made public.

Thomas Puha, Communications Director: Good question. The whole AA and AAA “classifications”, what do those really mean?

For us it means the cost of the game’s development, meaning the budget, the development team size and the amount of content and features we ship on day 1. These are all intricately linked to each other.

Then there’s things like, we aren’t doing a lot of VO localized into lots of different languages, being more economical there, which is easier when you don’t have cut-scenes which are some of the most expensive things to do in video games. The aim as always is put out as great of a game as possible.

FYI

The initial 25 million budget was announced way, way back in 2021.

MP1st: Given the game has no PvP component, will console players be able to use mouse and keyboard controllers without penalties in FBC?

Thomas Puha, Communications Director: We are looking into this currently.

MP1st: How is Remedy looking to rope in new players who haven’t played Control or Alan Wake? Will there be a primer video of sorts in-game, or will players be able to understand everything that’s happening even without proper knowledge of the Control universe?

Mike Kayatta, Game Director: You definitely don’t need to have played Control or Alan Wake to understand the world of FBC: Firebreak. And that’s not because we try to catch players up on those events through summaries or exposition – you can enjoy everything in this game to its fullest without ever knowing those stories. So, it’s been less about onboarding those folks and more about making sure that the space and time we’re exploring in Firebreak is self-contained. As for explaining important concepts like the Hiss, the FBC, and the Oldest House itself, we tackle that organically on a case-by-case basis.

MP1st: Any chance we’ll see an Alan Wake skin? Maybe Max Payne as part of the rewards?

Mike Kayatta, Game Director: We’ll announce cosmetic types and specifics at a later time, but we can say that our general approach to this and all such game connections is to celebrate the RCU without parodying it because Firebreak is part of that universe—not an outsider looking in or a commenter on it.

MP1st: Remedy is possibly one of the best studios when it comes to managing expectations, not overflowing on goals and budgets. What makes the studio different from the rest that they’re able to weather storms like the one we’re seeing now.?

Thomas Puha, Communications Director: We’ve been around making video games for 30 years. There’s been some really tough times at Remedy during that time, but somehow we have always managed to find a way to keep moving forward.

We did go over budget on Alan Wake 2, not an uncommon thing in this industry when you are always pushing the envelope and game development is unlike any other software development out there, so knowing how long it takes to really polish ideas into a great game, it’s always hard to tell. There’s always a big challenge in trying to match the creative ambition with realistic budgets and how many units you can sell.

We’ve always been careful about our budget sizes, the scope of our games and not hiring too many people, too quickly. It feels like a lot of people at Remedy do multiple roles and jobs!

MP1st: FBC Firebreak story stems from the aftermath of Control, and takes place six years after the events of it. That would also, assuming our years are right, mean the game takes place two years after Alan Wake 2? We learned from Alan Wake 2 that time isn’t linear, with the past and future happening all at once in some instances. Could we expect more time-related things in FBC Firebreak that may connect it to the other games, and even future ones?

Mike Kayatta, Game Director: Right now, the only story details we’re discussing are the state of the FBC, specifically. It’s been six (linear) years since Control, lockdown is still in effect, and Firebreak’s job is to put down the growing crises.

Remedy AA

MP1st: I know it was mentioned we could play the game alone, with a friend, or two friends/randoms. Obviously there’s a very online focus here, but will there be any offline modes available? What about servers? Will they be dedicated, or peer-to-peer hosting?

Thomas Puha, Communications Director: No offline modes and the game is peer to peer.

MP1st: Looking at both Alan Wake 2 and Control, the studio really pushed things on a technical level. Not specifically to the visuals, but also storytelling. Obviously this being more online and co-op focused, that’s a little harder to do, but the studio is known for pushing the boundaries of things. So, is there something we can expect from FBC Firebreak that’ll surprise in the way its done that just screams, “yeah this is Remedy”, and ties thing into a bigger picture?

Mike Kayatta, Game Director: Narrative is very important to Remedy and to Firebreak. Being a coop multiplayer game though, we’ve of course had to approach it in a very world-first sort of way to make sure we don’t fight against people talking on mics or harm our replayability by asking people to watch specific story beats occur and re-occur over and over. So, lots of thought has gone into the presentation of the environments and how characters feel being inside of them. There are few precious places for direct storytelling, but we have sought to make the most of as many as we could without detracting from the gameplay forward nature of this type of experience.

FBC: Firebreak is set to launch this summer on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.

Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves Reveals New Guest Character and It’s…DJ Salvatore Ganacci?

[summaraize]

The guest character reveals for Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves continue to get weirder and weirder, as SNK has just announced another celebrity joining the roster.

Introducing DJ Salvatore Ganacci, who will kick it alongside Cristiano Ronaldo as a guest character. No, I’m not joking about Ronaldo either.

Mortal Kombat May Have Met Its Match, as Fatal Fury’s Guest Characters Are Even Stranger

Perhaps his addition isn’t completely farfetched, as Ganacci is contributing music to the game, so at least he has some ties to it, even if it is pretty strange to see. Now, for those who aren’t familiar with him, SNK has provided a bit of background, as well as context to how he fits in the game’s story.

The Story Behind the DJ

Salvatore is a justice-dealing Artist who has arrived in South Town looking for inspiration to help finish his latest (and hopefully greatest) anime music video. When his good friend Duck King tells him about the KOF tournament on the horizon, Salvatore decides it just might give him the spark he needs. Combining DJing and martial arts, Salvatore is nothing if not versatile—mixing music, muscles, and mayhem leaving even the most formidable opponents stunned and disoriented by his extraordinary abilities.

About Salvatore Ganacci

Salvatore Ganacci is a groundbreaking artist whose unique approach to electronic music, captivating performances, and innovative visual storytelling has set him apart in the global music scene. Known for his bold style, creativity, and unorthodox methods, Ganacci continues to redefine the genre and captivate audiences worldwide in constantly new ways, not just a DJ he’s a force of the sound.

And in case you missed it, here’s the Cristiano Ronaldo reveal for Fatal Fury.

We’ve joked about some random guest appearances in games like Mortal Kombat, but I think Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves takes the cake when it comes to “I did not see that coming.” Seriously, who’d have guessed that we would see a DJ and a professional footballer hashing it out in a fighting game? For sure not me.

Fatal Fury: City of Wolves arrives on April 24, 2025, on the PlayStation 5PlayStation 4Xbox Series X|SSteam, and the Epic Games Store.

Nintendo Switch 2 Pre-Order Date Delayed Due to Tariff Concerns

[summaraize]

The Nintendo Switch 2 pre-orders in the US were set to kick off next week on April 9, but that’s not happening now. Nintendo has announced today that the Switch 2 pre-order date has been delayed indefinitely following US President Donald Trump’s announcement of imposing new tariffs on several countries.

Several of the countries penalized by the new tariffs are directly involved with video game hardware manufacturing, which means this is not good news.

Nintendo Re-Evaluating Impact of Tariffs on Switch 2

Switch 2 Price tariffs

While Nintendo hasn’t officially announced any price hike for the Switch 2 in America, there’s a very good possibility that’s what’s about to happen. Nintendo’s statement (via The Verge) confirmed the pre-order delay but also mentioned how the June 5 release date won’t be affected.

Pre-orders for Nintendo Switch 2 in the U.S. will not start April 9, 2025 in order to assess the potential impact of tariffs and evolving market conditions. Nintendo will update timing at a later date. The launch date of June 5, 2025 is unchanged.

The “assess” part can’t be good. While there is a chance Nintendo keeps the price as is, there’s also a big chance that the price will increase. Regardless of if it’s a $10 increase or somewhere between $50-$100, it’s still not a good thing to see happen to the upcoming consoles, especially since some of its games are already priced higher than even the PS5 and Xbox Series titles.

If it does fall in the $500 range, would people still bite? I’d assume they would, but begrudingly. Can you imagine the scalped price for these consoles? While Nintendo is implementing safeguards to dissuade scalpers from snagging a console, you can bet someone will still be able to get one to sell at an exorbitant price.

For those hoping there’ll be a cheaper Switch 2 unit like in Japan, that doesn’t look like it’s happening anytime soon. There’s also a possiblity that these tariffs could impact PlayStation and Xbox products as well, and we’re keeping an eye on it, and will report on anything that happens.

Monster Hunter Wilds Down on All Platforms on April 4, Capcom Investigating

[summaraize]

Following the release of Title Update 1 for Monster Hunter Wilds, which was initiated by a maintenance period that lasted for a few hours, the game’s servers are running into connection issues once again.

Players are reporting that Monster Hunter Wilds servers are down and having connectivity issues on all platforms on April 4.

Monster Hunter Wilds Down With Connectivity Issues (Update)

Update: Issues with the servers are now sorted out according to Capcom.

Original Story:

Capcom has acknowledged the issues and mentioned, “We are aware of issues occurring with Monster Hunter Wilds online connectivity on all platforms. We are investigating the cause and working towards restoring normal functionality.”

Today’s server outage follows the crashing issues players experienced on PC after installing Title Update 1, which Capcom offered a workaround for.

In addition to that, the developers also addressed cheating problems in Arena Quests and Challenge Quests ranking. Capcom released a statement about it. “Hunters, we’ve confirmed that the rankings for Arena Quests and Challenge Quests include some times which are either fraudulent or the result of bugs. Please be assured that we will be removing obviously abnormal times from the rankings and players found to have cheated will not receive rewards,” the devs noted.

Capcom added, “As a result, when accessing the Arena Quest Counter you may see an error with the code EW_3671F stating that your quest completion time has failed to upload. If this happens, please select the option to discard the unsent time and accept another quest or else you will unable to transmit subsequent times.”

The rewards will be distributed after the tabulation period has passed and the final rankings are confirmed, which will exclude any fraudulent times. The devs also confirmed that accounts who have cheated or used external tools may be suspended.

Going back to the server problems at hand, if we get an update from Capcom, we’ll be sure to let our readers know, so refresh this article from time to time.

Invisible Woman

We’ll be fine-tuning Susan’s protective capabilities to create a more strategic gameplay experience.

Loki

To balance Loki’s influence in matches, we’re making a small adjustment to the frequency of one of his key abilities.

To emphasize strategy over speed, we’re modifying Mantis’ health and buff mechanics.

  • Reduce base health from 275 to 250.

Rocket Raccoon

Rocket’s healing abilities will see some adjustments to enhance team survivability while balancing his mobility.

  • Decrease the healing area of Repair Mode spheres from 70 health/s to 50 health/s, but add a new effect of one-time healing of 55 health to allies hit. Projectile speed reduction increased from 4.5 m/s to 7 m/s.
  • Extend cooldown for Jetpack Dash from 6 seconds to 10 seconds; reduce dash distance from 10 meters to 8 meters.
  • Reduce C.Y.A. (Ultimate Ability) damage boost from 40% to 25%, but add a new effect: during the ability’s duration, linked allies will receive an additional 100 Bonus Health points per second, capping at 150. After breaking the link, this bonus starts to falloff after 1 second at a rate of 75 per/s. Additionally, increase the energy cost from 3700 to 4000.

ADJUSTED OR REMOVED:

Ammo Overload (Rocket Racoon – Winter Soldier)

A slight change for this battle-hardened hero!

  • Winter Soldier loses the Infinite Grit ability he once had through his team-up with Rocket Raccoon.

Chilling Charisma (Luna Snow – Namor)

Things are heating up as synergies change!

  • Namor has lost the Frozen Spawn ability from his team-up with Luna Snow.

Dimensional Shortcut (Magik – Psylocke)

A temporal reconfiguration for these powerful souls!

  • Psylocke has lost the Psionic Disc ability previously attained from her team-up with Magik.

Gamma Charge (Hulk -Doctor Strange/Namor)

Changes in synergy for these heavyweights!

  • Doctor Strange loses the Gamma Maelstrom ability previously gained from his team-up with Hulk.
  • Namor now gains the Gamma Monstro ability through his team-up with Hulk.

A disconnect in family synergy!

  • Captain America loses the Charged Aegis ability from his team-up with Thor.
  • Storm loses the Charged Gale ability gained from her team-up with Thor.

I can already tell from this list that many in the community won’t be happy, especially with the nerfs made to several characters that some felt were already pretty “weak” regarding their damage output. Though it’s possible that these values look a lot worse than they actually are, but we won’t know for sure until the season begins.

Thankfully, we won’t have long to wait, as Marvel Rivals Season 2 launches on April 11. In the meantime, if you’re interested in reading up more on Season 2, be sure to check out our “Everything you need to know about Season 2” story for Marvel Rivals.

Helldivers 2 Patch 1.002.203 Slaps Emergency Hotfix to Auto-Cannon

[summaraize]

Arrowhead Game Studios has released Helldivers 2 patch 1.002.203 on a Friday, and this is an emergency hotfix for the Auto-Cannon, which now makes it usable once again.

This is small patch, so don’t expect anything major outside of that important fix.

Helldivers Auto-Cannon Reload Issue Now Resolved in Latest Update Download

The only thing included in the patch is a fix for the Auto-Cannon reload bug, and it now reloads normally. That’s about it. Given we got a patch the other day, that included fixes to crashing and laser weapon rel;oading issues, this is to be expected.

In case you didn’t see the patch released earlier this week, here’s a look at the fixes it brought to the game:

Fixes From Previous Patch Released on April 1:

Crash Fixes, Hangs and Soft-locks:

  • Fixed game crashing on legacy hardware when player drops into a mission
  • Fixed crash after exiting the armory when switching from certain weapons
  • Fix an out-of-memory crash when large amount of particles are present

Weapons and Stratagems

  • Fixed shooting and reloading issues with laser weapons

Social & Multiplayer Fixes

  • Fixed an edge-case allowing some mismatching version to still connect to each other

Missions

  • Fixed issue on Illuminate Defend Evacuation Site missions where illuminate dropships stopped coming if too many were destroyed before they dropped off the enemies.

Miscellaneous Fixes

  • Fixed white boxes showing in seldom cases in the Super Store

There are no known issues that have been mentioned by the developers as being worked on, though that doesn’t mea there’s not another patch on the way. Once we spot another one, expect it up here on MP1st.

Monster Hunter Wilds Crashing Issues Surface on PC After Installing Title Update 1

[summaraize]

Capcom just released Title Update 1 on all platforms, which should be a time to celebrate and incentivize players to go on  a hunt, right? While console gamers are able to do that now, PC hunters are running into issues, as a lot of players are reporting on crashing issues after installing the content patch.

If you’re seeing a crash right now, it’s not just you, which means there’s nothing wrong with your PC.

Players Reporting Monster Hunter Wilds Crashing Issues After TU1 Install on PC

The screen above is what people are getting, and we can chime in that it’s happening to us as well. Players on the game’s Steam page are posting threads on how MH Wilds is crashing after launching the game with the TU1 patch installed, with some triggering the crash by item trading with NPC’s.

It’s gotten so bad that some are reporting they can’t even complete a hunt without the game crashing. Some reports on Reddit are claiming that teh game crashes 15 seconds upon booting the game, and others are getting stuck on a black screen. Another report has surfaced that claims the update has softlocked the entire game. Needless to say, there are a bunch of issues that has surfaced with the patch.

Monster Hunter Wilds Item Trading Crashing Issues Workaround After Title Update 1

Capcom has acknowledged the crashing problems when item trading, stating, “We have confirmed that the game crashes when you talk to Nata and select Sekka to trade items at the Village Intermediary.”  The developers have a workaround, and it involves waiting.
“If this problem occurs, it can be resolved by waiting a certain amount of time or by resting at the BBQ Menu,” Capcom’s developers shared.

Some of the know issues after today’s Title Update 1 rollout include:

  • An issue where players are unable to search for SOS Flare quests of a certain difficulty (★).
  • Certain SOS Flare quests are shown as “?????,” preventing players from joining the quest.
  • A cutscene is not added to the gallery even when players have proceeded through the story enough to unlock it.
  • The text for the Cosmetic DLC Pass is not displayed correctly in the Claim Content menu at the Support Desk.
  • Some display issues may occur when clearing widgets from the Hunter Profile.
*This issue will resolve by closing and going back into the “Edit Top Page Widgets” screen.
  • In the past Challenge and Free Challenge quest ranking results, some results may appear to be blank, and the weapon icons may be replaced with a question mark.
  • Trading items with Sekka through Nata at the Village Intermediary menu will cause the game to crash.
*This issue will resolve after waiting a short while or by resting at the BBQ Menu.

No word yet if Capcom will release a patch to fix the crashing issues, but we wouldn’t be surprised to see one. We’ll be updating the article as more news develops, so stay tuned.

As for what’s to come next, the studio shared on a Dev Note earlier this week they had plans to address and bring the following in future patches:

  • Making appearance change available from the very first playthrough
  • Preparing new Gear Preset and Skill Preset systems
  • Allowing players to freely switch difficulty back from Easy to Normal mid-game
  • Investigating platform-specific issues with achievements

The First Berserker: Khazan is now available on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC.

Zenless Zone Zero Newest Agent, Trigger, Is Now Available; Zhu Yuan Is Back

[summaraize]

The second part of Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.6 is now live, bringing the highly anticipated S-rank Electric Stun Agent, Trigger.

That’s not all, though, as S-rank Ether Attack Agent Zhu Yuan is also back and available for a chance to roll from Signal Searches.

Fingers on the Trigger

Zenless Zone Zero

Calling all Zenless Zone Zero fans! A new agent, who goes by the name of Trigger, is now available in the Singal Search shop! As with any searches, the rate of getting her on your guaranteed S-rank roll is 50/50, so good luck to you all who want her! But wait, she’s not the only agent to show up this round, as Zhu Yuan is making her first return to shop with the same drop rates! Both characters will be available in the shop for the next 18 days, so if you’re looking to add some powerful agents to your lineup, now is your chance.

Additionally, if you aren’t interested in this wave or don’t have enough to roll Trigger, her Agent Story is also available. Dubbed “Out of Sight,” this Agent Story offers roughly 2-3 hours of gameplay, with a story that sees Trigger confronting her past, dealing with the aftermath of her mistakes, and learning how to forgive. Trust me; it’s a fantastic piece of content you don’t want to miss.

As for what’s next for Zenless Zone Zero, we should expect version 1.7 as soon as this chapter comes to a close in the next month or so. As with all versions, we’ll probably get new agents, a new location, and a continuation of the main story. We’ll keep you updated once details on the update become available; otherwise, have fun!

Yakuza 0 Director’s Cut Announced for Switch 2; Features New Cutscenes, Dubs, and More

[summaraize]

Yakuza 0 is getting a Director’s Cut, nearly a decade after its original release. This was revealed during today’s Nintendo Switch 2 Direct, with the title being confirmed as a Switch 2 timed-exclusive.

Here’s what’s coming in what is being called the “Definitive” edition of the game.

One of the Best Yakuza Games Just Became A Lot Better

We knew today would be filled with a bunch of surprises, but I can’t say I was expecting Yakuza 0 to show up again, let alone with brand-new content. Besides obviously having the original game, built to run on the Switch 2, Yakuza 0 Director’s Cut comes with brand-new content, including fully voiced English dubs and new cutscenes. Here’s a breakdown of everything we know is coming in this version.

  • Never-before-scene cutscenes
  • Red Light Raid online 4-player online mode with up to 60 unlockable characters
  • French, Italian, German, Spanish Text
  • English Voiceover

How exciting!

It seems like this version of the game is timed exclusively for the Nintendo Switch 2, though SEGA has yet to confirm which other platforms it will arrive on.

As for those who recently played Like A Dragon: Pirate in Hawaii and never played Yakuza 0, you’ll be excited to know that the game features not only a full-length campaign for the long-time series’ protagonist Kiryu but also one for Goro Majima, the very star of Pirate in Hawaii. Oh yeah, it’s a good year for us Majima fans, and I cannot wait to get my hands on this. Luckily, it’s launching the same day as the Switch 2, which is on June 5.

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 Graphical Modes, PS5 Pro Enhanced, And Other Details Revealed

[summaraize]

It’s April, which means we’ve entered launch month for Sandfall Interactive‘s debut turn-based RPG, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33! While the studio is busy preparing for the big day, they’ve begun their big marketing push, revealing a brand-new character trailer along with some new details.

For those wanting details on what kind of graphical modes the game will feature, it seems that on consoles and PC, there will be plenty of options to play around with.

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 Will Have Plenty of Graphical Options for PC Players

First on the agenda is the newest spotlight trailer, which features Sciel, one of the many companions traveling with you to destroy the Paintress. Sandfall Interactive offers a bit of backstory in the trailer, as well as in the text, which seems to hint at a tragic past.

“Meet Sciel, the Cheerful and Serene Warrior. A farmer turned teacher, Sciel is warm and outgoing, enjoying life day by day. She is at ease with death, having long accepted the brutality of their world. But her teasing smile masks a dark and painful past. Though deeply committed to the Expedition, she is untroubled by the specter of failure. They will do all in their power, and it will either be enough, or it won’t.”

As for performance and graphical options, the studio confirms that the PC version will feature a variety of customizable options, ranging from Low to Epic presets, so that players can fine-tune their experience to their liking. You can probably expect the usual stuff, from texture quality, resolution, frame caps, and likely upscalers and frame-gen support, though whether that’s Intel, Nvidia, or AMD (or all of them) is something yet to be confirmed.

On the console side, both PS5 (standard) and Xbox Series X|S will feature a quality and performance mode, though the exact specifics have yet to be announced. PS5 Pro’s enhanced features have also been confirmed, and we expect to hear more about them as we approach the launch.

For preloading, PlayStation gamers will likely have to wait until March 22, 2025, as, typically, that becomes available two days before the official launch. Xbox gamers, on the other hand, can start preloading the game right now! The title also supports Play Anywhere and will be available day one on Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.

And finally, trophies and achievements. For those hunters out there, Clair Obscur Expedition 33 will feature a total of 55 Achievements or 56 Trophies (Platinum adds an extra). The complete list isn’t live yet, but the studio did share a few of them in the press release. For those worried, none of these reveal any story details and are more along the lines of hitting a certain number or pulling off a specific feat.

  • Expeditioner – Reach level 33.
  • Overcharge – With Gustave, use a fully charged Overcharge that Breaks an enemy.
  • Follow The Trail – Find all of the journals from prior expeditions.
  • Professional – Defeat a boss without taking any damage.
  • Connoisseur – Find all 33 music records.

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is launching on April 24, 2025, on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam, Epic Games Store).

Path of Exile 2 Update 1.022 “Dawn of the Hunt” First Major Update Now Live

[summaraize]

The first major content update for Path of Exile 2 early access is now live on all platforms.  Console players will see it as Path of Exile 2 update Path of Exile 2 Update 1.022 (version 1.022.000), and it includes a ton of new content, improvements, and bug fixes.

Grab those spears and blades, as the Dawn of the Hunt is finally upon us.

Path of Exile 2 Update 1.022.000 Brings Loads of New Content and Features

Because the patch notes are so big, we decided to include only the big stuff, which is mostly the new content and features added with this update, as well as the bug fixes.

New Content and Features

  • Added a new playable character class, the Huntress.
  • Added the new Amazon and Ritualist Ascendancy Classes for the Huntress.
  • Added the new Smith of Kitava Ascendancy Class for the Warrior.
  • Added the new Tactician Ascendancy Class for the Mercenary.
  • Added the new Lich Ascendancy Class for the Witch.
  • Added over 25 new Skills, primarily Spear Skills.
  • Added over 100 new Supports.
  • Added 2 new item classes, Spears and Bucklers.
  • Added over 100 new Unique Items.
  • Added 8 new Endgame Maps, each with new encounters and new rewards.
  • Introduced 4 Unique Strongboxes – special chests with unique encounters.
  • Introduced 12 Rogue Exiles – others like you who have been exiled and are openly hostile. Each one has their own skills and personalities, and are much smarter than the average monster. These Exiles use unique items that they will drop if you successfully kill them.
  • Introduced Azmerian Wisps – spirits that can be found throughout both the campaign and the Endgame. As you approach these wisps, they will flee, leading you past monsters. Any monsters it comes into contact with are infused by the spirit, making them more powerful and the spirit more rewarding. Let them get away for too long and they’ll dissipate and return to the woods.
  • Added 15 new Socketable items with new modifers that you can craft onto your items.
  • Introduced the Twilight Reliquary Key. When consumed at The Reliquary Vault, a new area on the Endgame Map, it grants you access to a vault with a chest that drops a special foil version of a Unique item selected by our supporters! They can contain any Unique found in Path of Exile 2, though if the selected item is a Pinnacle Boss drop then only special keys dropped by the relevant content will be able to provide these items. The Twilight Reliquary currently has 453 options for foiled Unique items that it can yield.
  • Essences can now have Vaal Orbs applied to them to corrupt the Essences with a range of unpredictable outcomes. Greater Essences are possible to be upgraded to four new Corrupted Essences.
  • Continued to incrementally improve the sound, art, effects and environments.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed a bug where skills that allow movement during their actions wouldn’t apply their slow at full effect if used with higher values of attack or cast speed, and not held down.
  • Fixed a bug where you could un-reserve and re-reserve Minions to resummon them instantly while they were in the process of resummoning.
  • Fixed a bug where cancelling a Skill with the Infernalist’s Pyromantic Pact Ascendancy Passive Skill allocated would still cause the player to gain Infernal Flame.
  • Fixed a bug where Wind Dancer stages could be kept after weapon swapping to a weapon set that did not have Wind Dancer activated.
  • Fixed an issue where some Triggered Skills were able to generate Energy, such as Burning Inscription.
  • Fixed a bug that could cause Shattering Palm’s ice shards to occasionally fail to explode.
  • Fixed a bug where Ignited Ground created by Incinerate was not dealing damage correctly compared to other sources of Ignited Ground.
  • Fixed a bug that could cause Support Gems applying to Persistent Buff Skills to apply twice.
  • Fixed a bug where Sunder’s aftershocks could hit enemies too many times.

  • Fixed a bug where Resonating Shield recovered Stagger much faster than the inherent Raise Shield Skill.
  • Fixed a bug where Blink could be used to travel through walls.
  • Fixed a bug where effects that consume shocks could only consume a single shock at once. If the target has multiple active shocks, they now consume (and benefit from) all of them.
  • Fixed a bug where the “more Projectile Damage after Piercing an Enemy” stat granted by quality on High Velocity Rounds did not function.
  • Fixed a bug that could cause Shield-based attacks to not deal damage.
  • Fixed some wonkyness with Skills that could occur when using Flasks, such as Plague Bearer poison nova stacks being cleared.

  • Fixed a bug where skeletons impaled on offerings could sometimes still use skills if commanded to do so.
  • Fixed a bug that could cause Emergency Reload to empower fewer attacks than intended.
  • Fixed a bug with Second Wind Support and Demon Form where the additional Cooldown would still tick while in Demon Form.
  • Fixed a rounding issue that could cause skills used by an Infernalist to sometimes fail to generate Infernal Flame.
  • Fixed a bug that could cause Lingering Illusion to stop functioning when supported by specific support gems if you had very little unreserved spirit.
  • Fixed a bug where Stomping Ground Support would not function if you had a Wand or Sceptre equipped.
  • Fixed a bug where spell-related Support Gems could not support Skeletal Arsonists.
  • Fixed a bug where Long Fuse Support did not prevent grenades from being Detonated.
  • Fixed a bug where Crossbow Shot could consume more than one bolt when firing more than one projectile.
  • Fixed a bug where Eye of Winter passing over multiple ailment ground effects only got the extra damage bonus from the most recent one, rather than all of them.
  • Fixed a bug where the Collapsing Horizon Unique Quarterstaff was providing its Elemental Gem Level bonus multiple times to Skills with more than one element type.
  • Fixed a bug where Shield Charge was not correctly interacting with active block mechanics.
  • Fixed a bug where the damage gained as extra elemental damage on Detonating Arrow was applied at the same time as non-skill sources of damage conversion/gain instead of before them.

  • Fixed a bug where a Skills Cooldown could stop when under the effects of multiple sources of reduced Cooldown Recovery Rate.

  • Fixed a bug that could cause Mana Tempest to stop draining the player’s mana.
  • Fixed a bug where Shockwave triggered by striking Tempest Bell was not correctly scaling with Knockback.
  • Fixed a bug where Thorns were not causing Stun, Freeze, Electrocute, Pin, Armour Break, Daze, nor Knockback.

  • Fixed a bug where Fiery Death’s explosion was not considered as a triggered skill (and therefore could be supported by some supports that don’t apply to triggered skills).
  • Fixed a bug where more poisons than should be active could damage the same target when the poisons had different limits.
  • Fixed a bug where projectiles that cannot chain, such as Lightning arrow, were chaning off of terrain.
  • Fixed a bug where Marks could deal off-hand hits when dual-wielding, causing zero damage because they don’t have off-hand damage stats.
  • Fixed a bug that caused various aftershock-related stats that were intended to apply specifically to *your* skills to also apply to skills used by totems.
  • Fixed a bug that could occur if using Iron Grip and Iron Will in combination with an effect allowing spell damage increases to apply to attacks.
  • Fixed a bug where Impact Shockwave was not scaling with area modifiers.
  • Fixed a bug where Aftershocks caused by Slam Skills you use with Maces through the Split the Earth Notable Passive Skill were not scaling with area modifiers.
  • Fixed a bug where Shattering Palm ice shards could fail to deal damage when weapon swapping.
  • Fixed a bug where sources of less minimum or more maximum Physical Attack Damage, such as Heft Support or the Ryslatha’s Coil Unique Belt, were not working correctly with damage conversion.
  • Fixed a bug where the benefits of Heft Support were applying twice to Minions.

  • Fixed a bug where Seismic Cry, and other delayed cooldown skills, could consume two Cooldown charges when supported by Second Wind.
  • Fixed a bug where Gathering Storm was not affected by ground duration modifiers.
