PUBG Studios has released PUBG update 2.60 for PlayStation and Xbox consoles today. This is for patch 29.1 and this includes new content for the Rondo map and also features balance changes. Read on for what’s new in the PUBG April 18 patch notes posted down below.
Rotations featuring Deston will have a 20% probability for each map. For Weeks 1, 3, and 5, fixed and favored maps will each have a 22% probability and etc. maps will be 11% each.
The map service for Ranked is updated on a season-by-season basis.
Please note that the features and updates described below are subject to change or removal due to issues such as bugs, in-game problems, and community feedback. The images used are intended as visual references only; the actual game may look different as the builds are continually developed and refined before release.
World: Rondo
The following features are available only in Rondo.
New Feature: Destructible Terrain
Unveiling the Destructible Terrain feature, the first chapter of the environmental destruction feature we’ve announced in our 2024 Roadmap.
You can now destroy terrain to create cover when engaging in a battle within open areas.
Terrain made of concrete, cement, rock, or stone is not destructible.
The Frag Grenade, Mortar, Panzerfaust, Sticky Bomb, C4, vehicle explosion, and Pickaxe can be used to destroy terrain.
The maximum depth of destruction is 1.3m.
If you destroy terrain near an externally located wall, the terrain beyond the wall will also be destroyed.
Objects within the destruction range will only be destroyed if they were previously destructible.
Items in the area of effect will not be destroyed, and installed items will be converted into dropped items.
Folded Shields installed within the destruction range will have their durability reduced, and deployed Emergency Pickup will not be canceled.
< Dev’s Comment >
We’ve all had moments of frustration when we faced enemies in areas with limited cover. The Destructible Terrain feature we’re introducing with this update was designed to provide a breakthrough in such situations. As outlined in our roadmap, our goal is to go beyond mere environmental destruction and open up new strategies and tactics. Through this addition, we aim to infuse PUBG with greater dynamism and unpredictability, fostering advanced strategy. Furthermore, we will continue to develop and expand upon the environmental destruction feature, including this update’s destructible terrain feature.
New Weapon: Pickaxe
Introducing Rondo’s new melee weapon, the Pickaxe! Looks quite perfect for destroying terrain, doesn’t it?
Inventory slot: Melee Weapons
Damage: 60
Weight: 40
Can be used to destroy terrain.
World spawns.
EMP Zone
The following changes have been made to the EMP Zone to enhance the overall gameplay experience.
The frequency of occurrence has been reduced.

The time it takes for the EMP Zone to activate after the warning message has increased.
The explosion sound upon creation has slightly decreased.
Emergency Cover Flare
Modifications have been made to the Emergency Cover airdrops deployed when you throw an Emergency Cover Flare.
Emergency Cover airdrops per Emergency Cover Flare: 3 → 2
The size has been slightly reduced.
Both the distance between each airdrop and its descending speed have been reduced.
In-Game Challenges
We’ve improved the In-Game Challenges in response to player feedback.
Challenges
Some challenges have been removed or modified due to their misalignment with the difficulty level, being too challenging to complete, or overlapping with the rewards. Additionally, new challenges have been added.
e.g., Loot 1 Self-AED
The challenges that require you to travel a certain distance or deal a certain amount of damage have been modified.
Rewards
Rewards that overlap with the challenges or have low acquisition rates have been removed or changed.
The number of Emergency Cover Flares available as rewards has decreased.
Area Modifications
Taking into account player feedback and thorough gameplay analysis, we’ve enhanced some of the terrain, objects, and environmental elements within Rondo that were hindering active engagements or increasing the difficulty beyond our intentions.
Lo Hua Xing
Reduced the height of the railings in front of the antennas.
The statues behind the buildings near the river have been replaced.
The railings and windows on the Market’s second floor have been removed.
Improved environmental objects that obstruct the player’s view.
Modified specific objects that discourage active gameplay and added new objects.

A bridge has been added to the South of Rai An.
Added new objects and ridgelines to areas with limited cover while also improving the terrain in these areas.
Enhanced the textures and resolution of some environmental elements.
Minimap
Minimap has been updated to mirror the above changes.
Gunplay
Based on player feedback, we’re making the following gunplay adjustments.
SCAR-L
Rate of fire: 625 RPM → 650 RPM
Horizontal recoil decreased by approximately 4%.
Vertical recoil decreased by approximately 4%.
AKM
Damage: 47 → 48
Panzerfaust
An equipping animation has been added.
The spawn rate at the Cable Car spot has been reduced, while the general world spawn rate has been increased.
Mk12
The sound of gunfire when equipped with the Suppressor has slightly increased.
Firing From the Driver’s Seat
Limited the angle at which you can aim when firing from the driver’s seat of vehicles other than the Motorbike/Dirt Bike/Mountain Bike/Quad.
Increased bullet dispersion when firing from the driver’s seat of all vehicles.
< Dev’s Comment >
In this gunplay update, we’ve incorporated some of the insights you shared with us, focusing on minor adjustments and balance tweaks rather than significant shifts in the meta.
After considering player feedback highlighting the limited usability and low win rates of the SCAR-L and AKM, we’ve implemented adjustments to enhance their performance. Firstly, we’ve introduced a slight damage boost for the AKM to provide it with a competitive edge in terms of damage output, among other ARs. Additionally, we’ve made alterations to the SCAR-L, which include a slight increase in its rate of fire and a reduction of both vertical and horizontal recoil by 4%. These recoil adjustments aim to offset the perceived increase in recoil resulting from the rate of fire adjustment. The revamped SCAR-L, now boasting reduced recoil and a slightly higher DPS, is available in Update 29.1.
Many of you probably have been eliminated in a flash by the Panzerfaust in hot drops or close-quarter combat. As an explosive weapon, the Panzerfaust is intended to deliver significant firepower. However, we’ve recognized that its current state, allowing for rapid firing with limited opportunity for opponents to react, has posed a challenge. Feedback on the Panzerfaust has been diverse, ranging from player sentiments to input from Esports leagues. As a response, we’re introducing a new equipping animation for the Panzerfaust, which prevents firing immediately after picking up or equipping the weapon.
The Mk12 currently stands as the prevailing choice among DMR weapons, and we’ve received significant feedback about the difficulty in discerning its firing sound when equipped with the Suppressor, especially in comparison to other DMRs. This has raised concerns about the weapon potentially being overpowered when both the Suppressor and the Lightweight Grip are attached. Consequently, although we are keeping the Mk12 unchanged for now, we are slightly increasing the gunfire sound when the Suppressor is attached. This adjustment aims to enhance its visibility during mid-range engagements.
While not commonly utilized, we’ve noticed that firing from the driver’s seat can be remarkably effective in Solo mode, posing a challenge for opponents. This tactic can provide a significant advantage in specific directions since the driver can take cover within the vehicle and fire from multiple angles. To address this, we’ve implemented adjustments to make it more realistic. By considering arm positioning and the vehicle’s structure, we’ve restricted firing angles to prevent shooting excessively far to the rear. Additionally, we’ve increased bullet dispersion to reflect the inherent difficulty of firing one-handed.

Techland has pushed out Dying Light 2 update 1.47 (PS5 version 1.047) today on all platforms, and this is for the Nightmare Mode addition! According to the studio, this is the “most challenging way” to play Dying Light 2: Stay Human, so expect to fight tooth and nail to survive. Read on for the complete patch notes and details on the new mode for the game.
Dying Light 2 Update 1.47 Patch Notes for April 18:
PS5 Version 1.047
Nightmare Mode
If you like challenges, we’ve got what you need. Nightmare Mode is our new highest difficulty for those wanting to truly experience the nightmarish reality of the Dying Light universe. Enemies are most cunning and brutal. They will put up even more of a fight now, which is important, as you’ll now realize everything you’ve relied on in previous playthroughs aren’t so reliable! And survival becomes essential with limited information and UI elements. To sum up the Nightmare Mode experience:
Level 5 Chase with Tyrants
Being in a menu no longer stops the game — Watch out as you are crafting stuff in real-time! Luckily for you, the Pause menu works as normal though
Flashlight now dims and flickers when in constant use, and can even cut out
Lower immunity from each inhibitor
Higher chance of looting rare quality items
Survivor Sense shows only weapons and quest items
Tactical Stamina — Regeneration takes longer to kick in, and when exhausted, you’ll only be able to shove until your stamina is full once again
Player armor and resistance reduction
Higher stamina drain when paragliding at night
Volatiles have shorter sight, but Chases trigger faster
Stamina regenerates at a slower rate
Health does not regenerate automatically
A larger amount of Legend Points is awarded
Players lose all Legend Level XP towards the next level up on death at Level 50 and above
Efficiency of Boosters has been reduced
Moreover, if you manage to finish the game (or NG+) on this difficulty, you’ll unlock the exclusive Waltz Outfit. Please note: This reward requires you to complete the entirety of the main story on Nightmare difficulty! Are you brave enough to enter the Nightmare?
Night Changes
The Nightmare Mode Update will also incorporate various changes to the night itself. We grouped these changes into two sections: all difficulties and Easy/Normal.
Changes made in all difficulties:
Lowering the number of Volatiles, mostly on the rooftops
Volatiles are also receiving these nerfs:
Vision arc decreased to from 100 °to 90°
Recognition time changed for 1-6s (min-max)
Lowering the number of Spitters in the night population on Difficulty Ranks 1-6
Reduced range of hearing player’s footsteps for Biters
Reduced visibility of flashlight for Biters by 50%
Reduced vision range of Spitters and Suiciders
Changes made only for Easy and Normal: Increasing the recognition time for Volatiles:
2 secs, if player is very close to a Volatile; up to 7 secs if player is 20 meters from Volatile
Removal of Volatiles from Chase Level 1:
No additional Volatiles spawn during Chase Level 1
Co-op for Community Maps Grab your friends and wreak havoc together on maps created by you, our community, because co-op is here! Try to prove yourself as the best Pilgrim amongst your pals or just enjoy the crazy scenarios designed by our players as a group!
But what’s co-op on Community Maps without the Community Maps? That’s why we’re adding a whole bunch of new DevTools functionalities, so our creators can come up with even more creative, challenging and diverse maps. Your toolbox has been expanded with:
Pixelated visual filter
Additional prefabs in the Editor
More gameplay scripts to be overridden
Colorful rubber skins for meshes
Bloody Ties assets!
Gear Loadout System
In response to your requests, we are introducing the Gear Loadout System to Dying Light 2! In the Inventory menu, you can now switch between 4 customisable loadouts to quickly equip the gear, weapons, consumables and accessories that suit your current needs and playstyle.
Cutscene Improvements
With the Nightmare Mode Update, we’ve updated over 70 scenes and dialogues to improve the overall quality of the cinematics. There’s a lot of changes in terms of improved lighting, smoother (or more advanced) animation, special effects, and many other qualitative changes that should be visually noticeable to the player!
What’s changed?
Character animation improvements
Refinement of camera animations
Improved dialogue lighting
FX upgrade
Improved transition from dialogue to combat
Numerous qualitative improvements to dialogue
Interaction with some NPCs will be more immersive
Power Shot Skill Rework
We reworked the Power Shot skill to give players more agency. Now, when you charge a power shot, your reticle will begin to shrink. Release it at the right moment to fire a perfect shot for extra damage!
Tactical Stamina Management Mode
We’ve added a new stamina management mode – Tactical Stamina! An intrinsic part of Nightmare mode, with this turned on, stamina regeneration takes longer to kick in, and when exhausted, you’ll only be able to shove until the bar is full again. This preset can be selected via the Game Options panel. And no, you can’t switch it off on Nightmare difficulty!
Main Menu Redesign
The latest update will refresh the design of the Main Menu by enriching its visual layer. Now, the character outfit will be better presented here. Additionally, we want to make the Events & Alterations, Special Offers, and Community Maps more visible by introducing a new information panel on the right side of the screen.
Scalable Player FOV Correction
After the Firearms update, many of you started asking about more FOV (field of view) flexibility and we’ve delivered. With the Nightmare Mode Update, we are adding a slider allowing you to reverse the distortion of the player character when changing the FOV. When set to the default (100%), the player character appears the same regardless of the FOV value and when set to zero, the player character scales accordingly to the FOV.
Grappling Hook Customization
The update also introduces a new skin type, a bespoke one made for one of the most important tools in a Nightrunner’s arsenal: their Grappling Hook! Be sure to visit the Pilgrim Outpost to grab the First Pilgrim Grappling Hook skin for free and swing through the Villedor in style!

Master Banishers Achievement Bug (Sometimes it doesn’t pop as intended due to an issue)
After Haus and it’s latex-ridden cult of severed heads, Dead Island 2 returns with the second DLC, SoLA Festival. Is this worth the ticket price, or are the fans going to be disappointed by the concert beats? As long as you’re not expecting anything remarkably different from what the main game offers, you may be in for a bloody good time, emphasis on blood.
Beat to the Beat
The SoLA Festival area can be accessed after completing the main story quest The Giant Slayer. Going in around that player level isn’t recommended however, unless you bring a few friends along for cooperative play, as this expansion will put you into some challenging and often annoying boss fights. Some battles will drag along for several minutes, and dying means you have to do it all over again – and you will die a lot –, a punch in the gut that kills part of the sense of progression and enjoyment of this festival. With a playtime of around four hours, it’s not without its walls and repetitive moments.
But Dead Island 2 was never about brains, unless we mean the splattered ones. It’s a fun game with a fantastic melee combat system that throws some simple fetch quests for good measure, but if you own the original, you know what you are getting into with SoLA Festival. Only this time, it’s more one-note than ever, making Haus even seem extremely diverse by comparison.
SoLA Festival is about bloody beats, concert stages, pool areas, and lots of zombies. More often than not, there are some smaller areas or hubs to complete before you can unlock the next one, and you’re going to the stage to turn up the beat and draw the attention of waves of zombies. There are a few new zombified faces, along with a couple of new weapons: the Ripper is a mix of baseball bat and circular saw, and the Sawblade Launcher is a ranged tool of decapitation.
Clearly, it’s not huge in content, but it’s still fun in a familiar way. The areas are vibrant and always worth exploring right up to the last corner, and if you decide to take a breath and look around, you can see that this looks like a fantastic place for a festival, minus the corpses all over the place. A few set-pieces are entertaining, such as the wind turbine to which you feed zombies, but others are more on the bothersome and repetitive side, the orgone ball from the mood speakers being the highlight for all the negative reasons.
The Same Old Tunes
This SoLA Festival DLC isn’t going to change anything about your love for Dead Island 2. It’s more of the same in a different setting, it looks great as always, and combat remains exciting, pulpy, and crunchy. The lore is disposable, although you’ll meet a new face and a familiar persona that I’m going to keep undisclosed as to avoid spoilers, but the bulk of this content expansion is the action – run, crush, repeat, a loop that is as predictable as it is satisfying.

This update focuses on making changes to multiplayer.
For some main weapons, we’ve strengthened their unique characteristics or made them easier to handle.
For the Big Bubbler, we’ve changed it to increase the amount of time you can safely act by making it harder to destroy, even from positions that make it easy to attack the weak points.
For the Splattercolor Screen, we’ve changed it to make it easier to control opponents’ movements by increasing the risk of touching the screen.
For the Triple Splashdown, while it is difficult to time its use when opponents actively attempt to shoot the player down, it is extremely powerful when opponents don’t shoot the player down. Therefore, we have simultaneously changed it to make it harder to shoot down and narrowed the area of effect.
For the Kraken Royale, we changed it to ease an issue where, from the perspective of opposing players, it felt difficult to stop countdown progression when combining Kraken Royale with Super Jump in certain modes.
We plan on releasing the next update at the end of the current season. It will focus primarily on weapon balance adjustments and adding features for Sizzle Season 2024.
The next update is also planned to change it so that when a player’s rank in any mode is within rank 1,000 for the previous season’s X Rankings, the rank change due to the season switch will become S+0.
This change is to alleviate a problem making matchmaking in X Battles difficult immediately after the season switch for players with particularly high X Power.
Bug Fixes

Fixed an issue causing brella canopies to disappear roughly 16/60th of a seconds sooner when launched at the same time that they ran out of durability compared to when not launched.

Fixed an issue in which, after using Killer Wail 5.1 and performing a command that emptied the special gauge during a Super Jump, the next time the player used Killer Wail 5.1, the special gauge would instantly emptied empty the moment it was used.
Made it so that the New Squiffer’s aim would not become unstable by fixing an issue with the Zipcaster where, when the player took damage while jumping after clinging to a wall, their upper-body posture would become unintentionally unstable.
Fixed an issue in which, when defeating an opponent at the same time that they used Triple Splashdown, the sound effect indicating the activation of Triple Splashdown would sometimes not play even though the ink fists from Triple Splashdown would occur.
Fixed an issue in which the effects of the Respawn Punisher gear ability would be applied if a player was defeated by an opponent equipped with Respawn Punisher and then fell off the stage or into water before being defeated by another player.
Fixed an issue where sometimes, when a player participates with an unstable wireless environment, defeating that player while they were using a special weapon would cause the next special weapon that that player uses to not be displayed correctly.

Fixed an issue in Marlin Airport where players would sometimes land in a different location when using Super Jump to go to certain locations near the spawn point.

Fixed an issue where, if a Golden Egg was thrown off the stage after transferring between inkrails, the Golden Egg would sometimes reappear far away when returning to the stage. Instead, it will now return to the base of the last inkrail ridden.
Fixed an issue in which, when a Fish Stick was standing in a Flipper-Flopper’s area, the inking status of the top of the Fish Stick affected the determination of whether the area had been inked back.
Fixed an issue causing some terrain to not be displayed correctly at Inkopolis Square when a Splatfest or Big Run is taking place
Fixed an issue where, when trying to join a room with a password and accidentally entering an incorrect password, matchmaking would sometimes be started alone without a message informing players that the password was incorrect.
A gamer at heart, James has been working for MP1st for the last decade to do exactly what he loves, writing about video games and having fun doing it. Growing up in the 90's gaming has been in his DNA since the days of NES. One day he hopes to develop his own game.
According to a recent article from The Verge, Sony is looking to developers to create PS5 Pro “Enhanced” versions of their games that support 4K upscaled resolutions, 60fps frame rates, and even ray-tracing. Other improvements that Sony deems worthy of the Enhanced label have been revealed ahead of the console’s rumored holiday release, as well.
As reported early yesterday, Sony is supposedly asking developers to add a PS5 Pro-specific graphics mode to their titles. This mode will use PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution (PSSR) to upscale titles to 4K resolutions and run them at a targeted 60fps. The graphics mode will also enable ray-tracing for enhanced visuals.
While these are the standards Sony is shooting for, there are other modes that could qualify for the PS5 Pro Enhanced label as well. For example, 30fps games that run at a specific resolution can target higher resolutions, such as 1440p games being upscaled to 2160p (4K). Boosting the frame rate separately is also a viable strategy for earning the Enhanced tag, so if a game runs at 30fps at 1440p, enabling it to run at 60fps at the same resolution would qualify as a sufficient enhancement. Even just enabling ray-tracing could be enough, meaning that any of these three qualifiers can also satisfy the requirements on their own.
Sources did clarify that the game’s resolutions will have to see some sort of maximum improvement in order to be considered Enhanced, however. If a game runs at a variable resolution and the maximum potential resolution doesn’t change from, say, 2160p, then the game won’t be labeled as Enhanced. They could, however, still see improvements as part of the PS5 Pro’s rumored “ultra-boost” mode, which will work to help VRR modes run at better frame rates and higher resolutions. Fixed resolution/frame rate modes won’t see a change without developer updates, however.
As always, until we have full confirmation, take this information with a whole bucket of salt. The PS5 Pro has been heavily rumored to be arriving sometime during the holiday season this year, and these enhancements make sense, but things could always change.
To keep up to date on all things PS5 Pro, stay tuned in to us here at MP1st.

Baldur’s Gate 3 was a massive success, both critically and commercially, and rightly so. It was a phenomenal RPG experience with a truly tremendous amount of finely crafted content. While developer Larian has already confirmed that they won’t be working on the series in the future, D&D parent company Wizards of the Coast is already talking to other studios in an effort to start on the next Baldur’s Gate game.
In an interview with PC Gamer following the BAFTA awards, Wizards of the Coast senior vice president of Digital Strategy and Licensing Eugene Evans briefly discussed the company’s efforts to continue the Baldur’s Gate franchise:
“We’re now talking to lots of partners and being approached by a lot of partners who are embracing the challenge of, what does the future of the Baldur’s Gate franchise look like? So we certainly hope that it’s not another 25 years, as it was from Baldur’s Gate 2 to 3, before we answer that. But we’re going to take our time and find the right partner, the right approach, and the right product that could represent the future of Baldur’s Gate. We take that very, very seriously, as we do with all of our decisions around our portfolio. We don’t rush into decisions as to who to partner with on products or what products we should be considering.
Larian created a much-loved cast of characters, who were even celebrated by their nominations, the voice actors behind them and the talent behind them was celebrated at the [BAFTAS]. And they are now essentially part of D&D canon. I think it’s too early to express specifics and I think that there’s a much bigger question about how we approach Baldur’s Gate in the future. But I would like to think that all of those characters, for the sake of the fans, could potentially appear in future products.”
It makes perfect sense that Hasbro and Wizards of the Coast would be hungry to capitalize on the overwhelming success of Baldur’s Gate 3. Whether they’re able to do so without Larian is a different story entirely, but they’ve already begun working on other D&D video game projects in the interrim, says Evans:
“So first of all, the level of engagement doesn’t surprise us in some ways, because D&D fans are just so engaged with the hobby. They love every expression of it, whether it was the movie that was greatly celebrated by the fanbase, or Baldur’s Gate 3. But certainly it has demonstrated, or confirmed if you like, the voracious appetite the fans have for content around D&D, in particular video games. Which is good, because we have been investing in new D&D game development ourselves.
Those games will appear over the next five years, and they will cover all genres, all platforms. And I think there’s room within the D&D universe for many expressions of what D&D is all about, as long as we remain true to the things that people love about D&D and keep it authentic to the IP. And we’re committed to doing that.”
Whatever the future holds for Baldur’s Gate, we hope it continues to reach the highs of Larian’s own behemoth. It’ll take a truly talented studio to maintain the same standard of quality. We can only hope that Wizards of the Coast picks a willing and capable studio to further the great foundation that’s already been set.
Nixxes has revealed the upcoming Ghost of Tsushima PC requirements today ahead of the game’s May 16 launch. In the same announcement, Sony also revealed that Ghost of Tsushima will have full cross-play functionality and be the first title to feature PlayStation PC trophies support thanks to their new in-game overlay.
The PlayStation overlay will include players’ Friends list, Trophies, Settings, and Profile, and can be easily accessed by pressing SHIFT+F1 on the keyboard. This means that PlayStation trophies can now be earned in PC games that feature the PlayStation overlay! As of now, Sony hasn’t announced whether the overlay will retroactively be added to existing PC titles like God of War or the Horizon games.
Ghost of Tsushima PC will also feature full cross-play compatibility with PS4 and PS5 for its multiplayer mode, Legends. This means that players on all platforms will be able to connect and party up with each other to take on the unique Legends PvE content.
The most intriguing part of today’s post, however, is the section about the required specs, so let’s dive into those.
These required specs are pretty hefty, just like PlayStation’s other PC ports, but players should still be able to enjoy the game at very low settings on pretty outdated systems. Additionally, Nixxes’ other ports have been well-optimized for Steam Deck, so it’s likely that Ghost of Tsushima will be a great game to take on-the-go if you have one.

Dead Island 2 SoLA Features:
New Story: A deadly virus sweeps through The Valley, turning its inhabitants into ravenous zombies as a chthonic rhythm calls from beyond: The Beat of the Autophage. Lured to the festival by an enigmatic warning message, players must explore SoLA’s ruins and put a stop to this otherworldly menace.
New Location: A visceral, gore-drenched music festival in LA echoing to the sound of The Beat which threatens to turn the living into zombies, and with the potential to be heard across the world.
New Enemies: Including the Whipper, a new apex variant enemy, driven mad with self-loathing by the Autophage. Their compulsion to self-mutilate has turned them into a horrific nightmare of disemboweled intestines, allowing them to lash out at range. Next up, the Clotter, an unsettling apex variant that can decompose into a revolting pile of gore, making it immune from damage in that form, and then reform elsewhere to continue the fight. As if that wasn’t enough, they are also capable of firing a powerful jet of putrid blood from its heart.
New Legendary Weapons: Introducing the Ripper – a deadly fusion of a baseball bat and circular saw, turning it into a percussive machine of dismemberment – and the Sawblade Launcher, a heavy weapon firing rotary sawblades; the perfect weapon for ranged decapitation and dismemberment.
Chances are, this patch also includes bug fixes and whatnot, and once we know more about it, we’ll update the article with the info.

New Modules
Base Modules
Exotic Module
When an Overdrive is activated, the player triggering it and Friendly Exofighters equipped with this Module will both receive a temporary boost to attack strength.
This module is built with Overdrives in mind.
Since this module also activates among team members with the same module equipped, mindful coordination with your allies is key to making the most of it.
Ace Module
The Ace Module is for those who never stop fighting.
When a fighter equipped with this module has the highest score among all fighters upon reaching a set score threshold, that player will receive every buff. However, they’ll remained detected by hostile Exofighters.
This module lets you power up based on your performance.
As long as you have the highest score, your attack, defense, and movement speed will increase.
Aim to get the highest score before anyone else.
Action Modules
Z – Impact Strike
Reduces the damage of Linear Strike and the like in exchange for emitting a shockwave upon activation.
This shockwave will explode after reaching a distance, blowing back the enemy considerably.
This module alters the properties of the Zephyr Series’ Linear Strike.
The shockwave has the capability of snagging Hostile Exofighters and small enemies, making it easy to link with other skills.
K Enhance Dome
Reduces the cooldown time for all skills for both the player who activates it and any allies while in the Dome Shield.
This module alters the properties of the Krieger Series’ Dome Shield.
This increases the fighting capability of your team by allowing you and your allies to use skills more frequently.
Various other Modules have also been added.

change how the Exosuits fight.

Legendary Pilot
This special award is obtained by reaching Suit Level 50 for 30 Exosuits.

Game Balance Adjustments
Exosuit Adjustments
Exosuit: Zephyr α
There was a disparity between the Primary Attack range and the Skill attack range, making it difficult to inflict instantaneous damage. As a result, the Primary Attack damage reduction has been reduced to allow damage to be dealt even when in closer than optimum range.
Also, there were many cases where, when fighting against shooting-type exosuits, you would lose before doing any damage. Because of this, its health has been reexamined.
Health has been increased from 350 to 400.
The distance-based damage reduction for the Dragon Chakram Primary Attack has been softened.
Exosuit: Barrage
Out of all of the exosuits, this exosuit was designed to excel at dealing massive damage amongst many targets. However, due to Burning Heart’s instant firepower, it was able to deal massive damage to one enemy target.
As a result, Burning Heart’s damage has been decreased. The risky health reduction trade-off in exchange for that instant firepower has also been made more severe to adjust its practical applications during gameplay. Additionally, the default Barrage’s Health has been reexamined, as well.
Furthermore, the Stun Grenade’s cooldown has been extended, as when paired with the B – Boost Grenade, it had a high rate of preventing Hostile Exofighters from moving. Additionally, to make it more effective against enemy dinosaurs, each hit will deal a higher stun value, making it much easier to stun medium-size dinosaurs and above.
Reduced Health from 500 to 450. (Default suit only.)
The damage of the Burning Heart Overdrive has been decreased. VS Dinosaurs: From 5000 to 4000. Versus Fighters: From 1600 to 1000. (Applies to all Barrage Series.)
The health reduction of Barrage when using the Burning Heat Overdrive has been increased. (Applies to all Barrage Series.)
Stun Grenade’s cooldown time has been increased from 10 to 14 seconds. (Applies to all Barrage Series.)
Hitting a dinosaur’s head with a Stun Grenade is much more likely to stun them. (*Applies to all Barrage Series.)
Exosuit: Krieger
Due to the long length of Dome Shield’s cooldown, it was difficult to protect allies as a Tank Suit immediately after its destruction.
By reducing the cooldown of Dome Shield, we expect that it’ll be quick to recover after it has been destroyed, making it both easier to use and giving Tank Suits more opportunities to shine in combat.
Dome Shield’s cooldown has been reduced from 23 to 19 seconds.
RIG
On Rigs with high durability, shields can frequently be used in combination with the Rig Loading Module.
However, it was easy to defend against attacks from both Dinosaurs and Hostile Exofighters, making this Rig used more frequently than others.
As a result, we have increased the Shield’s cooldown in order to change when it’s selected. We expect this to make other Rigs more viable options to choose, as well as enabling Tank Suits to flourish more often.
The cooldown of Rig Shields has been extended from 17 to 24 seconds.
Dominator
Sometimes Triceratopses summoned by Dominators had difficulty in defeating enemies due to reasons such as there being few locations for Hostile Exofighters to fall.
To account for this, the damage that Hostile Exofighters take when hitting a wall is increased. These adjustments make it so that the Dominator is both reliable and viable to use on any field.
Increased damage when a Triceratops summoned by a Dominator knocks a Hostile Exofighter into a wall: From 400 to 600.
Game Mode Adjustments
In Dino Survival, when PVP Priority is selected for the Final Mission Priority Setting, rules for Escape, Neo T. Rex Battle, and Neo Triceratops Battle rules will not be included.
The conditions for Capcom Collab Missions have been lowered.
The required Score and Suit EXP for certain Medals has been increased.
A wider variety of contributions will now be commended more often on the results screen.
when a time-out occurs during Savage Gauntlet matching, The game will start with a Bot replacing The player who timed out.
Bug Fixes
Exosuit Adjustments
Exosuit: Vigilant
Fixed a bug where the firing speed of Vigilant α’s Primary Attack would sometimes vary based on framerate.
Exosuit: Roadblock
Fixed a bug where after a counter blast is fired while equipped with the R03 – Road Forger module for the Roadblock β and the exosuit is then unequipped, the counter blast damage would increase.
An issue was fixed where the effect of R – Intimidation for the Roadblock series would not sometimes work properly depending on the target’s distance.
Exosuit: Murasame
Fixed a bug where damage would not accumulate under specific circumstances even when blocking while using Vajra Counter.
Exosuit: Skywave
Fixed a bug where when Skywave α’s lightning bolt is blocked, the blocking player’s damage would incorrectly vary based on the direction they were facing.
Other
Fixed a bug for some Action Modules where the damage-boosting effect would not correctly apply to α and β series exosuits.
Fixed a bug where the controller would not vibrate when taking certain attacks.
Increased the number of anti-aliasing options.
Enemy Adjustments
Fixed a bug for Rathalos and Neo Triceratops battles where enemies would sometimes become transparent.
Fixed a bug for the Neo Triceratops battle where players could become stuck in certain positions.
Fixed a bug where incorrect damage values would be displayed when a Kinetic Rock would reflect off of a Neo Triceratops’ shield.
Fixed a bug where deploying a shield with Roadblock β while near a Sniper Neosaur could sometimes trigger a self-destruct.
UI Adjustments
The text for how to obtain The The Influence Emote was fixed.
Other typos in the game text have been fixed.
Achievements/Trophies
Fixed a bug where the “Cretaceous Eradicator” achievement/trophy wouldn’t be awarded despite the Battle Records listing 100,000-plus dinosaurs being defeated.
Other minor bugs have also been fixed.
We will let our readers know when the next Exoprimal update is out in the near future.
Embark Studios has released The Finals update 2.5.0 (PS5 update version 1.000.026) for several balance changes. The team also plans to fix the the effects of the Stun Gun in a future update. You can check out the April 10 patch notes posted down below.
The Finals Update 2.5.0 Patch Notes:
PS5 Update Version: 1.000.026
Today, we’re bringing you an update with some balance changes and dev comments on future changes to both the Stun Gun and the Cloaking Device!
The second Community Challenge has come to an end. Congratulations on reaching the goal! We were never worried (maybe a little worried), enjoy your brand new Boombox — and special shout out to player “Goo and Sledge” for pushing the platform an astounding 185km!
Also, you may have noticed that we have switched to using Embark ID as our main Display name in-game. You can change your Embark ID display name by visiting the Embark Portal.
Now! Let’s get into the changes included in Update 2.5.0:
Balance Changes
Gadgets
Data Reshaper
Range increased from 5m to 15m
Target FOV decreased from 25 degrees to 12 degrees
Dev note: to account for the increased range.
Stun Gun
Dev Note: We’re aware of player frustrations around being stunned by the Stun Gun and are planning some changes to get it to a better place. However, these changes require more testing before we deploy them so it will be update 2.6 before these arrive.
Specializations
Cloaking Device
Increased the activation cost from 14.2% to 33%.
Dev Note: This does not change the maximum sustain time, but makes it drain faster when toggling it on and off too frequently.
In addition to this change, we’re also investigating changes to the visibility of cloaked players, but these will not be deployed until the 2.6 update as they require more testing
Mesh Shield
Decreased health from 1000 to 750
Weapons
KS-23
Bullet dispersion reduced when jumping, sprinting, or zoomed in, to make the weapon more accurate
Security
AFK/Idle rule enhancements
Added detections for software such as cheat tools and injectors, leading to suspensions
Be on the lookout when the next patch for The Finals is released very soon.
