Cyberpunk 2077 Update 2.100 Patch Notes | Cyberpunk 2077 Update 2.1 Patch Notes:

New features

  • Fixed an issue where Arachnophobia and All the President’s Men achievements were not granted despite meeting the requirements.
  • The Relic Ruler achievement will no longer unlock after acquiring only one Relic Perk. Please note that this fix will not reset an already unlocked achievement.

  • Reduced the minimum stick tilt angle required to stay in sprint when playing on a controller.
  • Secondary stats in cyberware changed via the “Chipware Connoisseur” perk will no longer have their values randomized after saving or loading.
  • After reaching level 60 in the Netrunner skill, the Overclock ability will now properly reveal the enemies within 10m and allow you to hack them through the cover.
  • Adjusted the Synapse Burnout quickhack. Decreased the max damage bonus from +400% to +300% for Tiers 3-5. Decreased the max damage bonus from +600% to +400% and lowered the bonus per RAM unit from 12% to 10% for the Iconic variant.
Made player movement smoother and more responsive:
  • V can now start sprinting immediately after shooting rather than after a delay.
  • Fixed an issue where sprinting with held input was canceled by jumping, falling and other actions that don’t cancel toggled sprinting.
  • If V jumps while sprinting, sprint will now resume upon landing even if V was shooting while in the air (but not at the moment of landing). Also works for aiming, scanning and using melee weapons.
  • Fixed several issues with the “Multitasker” perk: sprint couldn’t be started while already shooting; sprint was cancelled by jumping, dodging/dashing or running out of Stamina; weapons were rapidly going in and out of the sprinting position (held closer to the chest).
  • Fixed an issue with the “Ninjutsu” perk where crouch sprinting couldn’t be activated with the hold crouch input.
  • During a slide with the “Ninjutsu” perk, pressing sprint or dodging/dashing will now make V crouch-sprint.
  • Sprinting “area” on controller sticks increased slightly to prevent accidentally stopping sprint.
  • Fixed an issue where sprint couldn’t be toggled during dodge/dash.
  • Dash slide! Pressing crouch during dodge/dash from a standing position makes V either slide (for forward dashes only) or crouch.

  • Slide direction can now be adjusted slightly sideways with directional inputs.
  • Slide can now be more consistently performed during a diagonal sprint.
  • Sliding can now be properly canceled with backward directional input.
  • Automatic vaulting during dash will no longer happen for backwards or sideways dashes. Regular vaulting with jump input is still possible in any direction.
  • Automatic climbing during dash will no longer happen if directional input isn’t held.
  • Automatic vaulting and climbing during dash should now be more consistent.
  • Fixed an issue where shooting was blocked while falling after an air dash.
  • Double tap dodge/dash can now be performed while another directional input on keyboard is held (resulting in a diagonal dodge/dash).
  • Fixed an issue where sprint was canceled by double-tap dodge/dash.
  • Fixed an issue where slides did not fully execute when playing with the Dynamic Control Scheme on a controller.
  • After crafting an item with the Active Chimera Core or Cerberus’s Decoded Behavioral System Component, the crafting specs required will disappear from the Crafting panel.
  • Players who completed all of Regina’s gigs prior to Update 2.0 will have the Neofiber cyberware they received as a reward replaced with Axolotl.
  • Stats from arm cyberware will now be applied correctly regardless if they are drawn or not.
  • Fixed an issue where V’s HP wouldn’t drop below 25% due to BioDyne Berserks’s effect remaining active permanently. Please note that this fix is not retroactive, as it won’t affect cases where this issue already occurred prior to 2.1.

Vehicles & Traffic

  • Opened the previously closed-off highway that spans Westbrook, Santo Domingo and Heywood.
  • It is now possible to lean while riding bikes. Use LShft/LCtrl on keyboard or Left Stick on a gamepad to make the rider lean – Up to lean forward, or Down to lean back. Leaning only changes your Center of Mass. Lean back and apply the gas to do a wheelie, lean forward and apply the brake to do an endo. Changing your Center of Mass changes how much traction you have at either end. Lean forward a little mid corner to induce oversteer, lean a little back to induce understeer. In the air, lean forward/backward to do flips, steer to do spins!
  • Added 5 new bikes to purchase from the Autofixer website.

  • Added a new car – the Porsche 911 Cabriolet. Visit the Autofixer website for more details.

  • Added an option to mark vehicles as Favorite in the Call Vehicle menu.

  • Electroshock VFX released by Microgenerator will now have VFX when playing without Phantom Liberty.
  • Fixed some instances where the animations after installing cyberware at Ripperdocs would not trigger.

UI

  • Added an option to mark weapons as Favorite, so that selling, disassembling or dropping them is locked.
  • Changed how Resolution Scaling modes are presented in Graphics Settings. Added a toggle to switch between DLSS Super Resolution, AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution 2.1 and Intel Xe Super Sampling 1.2. Depending on your selection you can customize other options, e.g. enable Dynamic Resolution Scaling.
  • Added a tooltip describing how to gain XP in each skill in the Skill Progression panel.
  • Attempting to attack or shoot in areas where combat is disabled will now display an “Action Blocked” popup on the HUD.

PC-specific

  • Ray Tracing: Overdrive Mode – exits preview status and includes several image quality improvements.
  • Introduced ReSTIR GI – Further improves path-traced lighting quality in RT: Overdrive mode, especially darker areas with no impact on performance, minimizes ghosting.

  • Fixed an issue where V’s and NPCs’ skin could have a metallic-like effect when Ray Tracing was enabled.
  • Fixed an issue where some characters’ hair didn’t cast shadows when Ray Tracing was enabled.

If you experience issues with the game freezing on Steam when the controller is connected after the game is already launched, please make sure to change PlayStation Controller Support in Steam settings to “Not Enabled” instead of “Enabled” or “Enabled in Games w/o Support”.
  • Added support for Samsung HDR10+ GAMING for NVIDIA GPUs. To enable this feature, your display has to support the technology and have the “Game Mode” enabled. The HDR10+ GAMING toggle can be found in Settings in the Video tab.

Console-specific

  • [Xbox] Fixed an issue where a “Save failed – insufficient space” popup would appear when trying to save despite not reaching the save limit.
  • [Xbox] Added a new error message that will appear when Phantom Liberty is installed on an unsupported drive.

Misc

Since this is an unannounced patch, Bloober Team has not revealed the official patch notes for this update yet. menasfactory on Steam discussion did find a bug in the game’s third act. Here’s what they said.

Director Act 3: Bug – Falling down

In act 3 of the Director’s new story there’s a point where everything is supposed to be upside down and I fell down into the emptiness.
Hopefully, this is a bug that will be fixed with today’s update. In the meantime, you can check out our thoughts on the game in our review.

Layers of Fear on the PS5 is the best-looking, best-sounding, and best-performing console version of the game yet. Playing with headphones is a must for the biggest scares, though many of the thrills are psychological rather than jump-based. Packed full of four different stories all interwoven to varying degrees, there is also a good deal of content to play through. Combined with multiple endings, Layers of Fear represents a great value for fans of horror games.

We will update this post as soon as we can if Bloober Team decides to reveal the official patch notes later today. We will update you in the future if more Layers of Fear patches are released soon.

Update: Official patch notes have been added.

BF2042 Update 1.000.049 Released for Patch 6.2.0

DICE has released (Battlefield 2042) BF2042 update 1.000.049 this December 5, and this brings patch version 6.2.0 to the game. Players can expect vehicle adjustments, nerfs to the VHX and MCS, and more! While there’s no new content, this is still a significant patch that changes the meta somewhat.

BF2042 Update 1.000.049 Patch Notes | BF2042 New Update Patch Notes for Dec. 5:

Size: 2.9GB (PS5)

Highlights:

  • MCS-880, G428, VHX weapon balance changes.
  • Suppressors & Subsonic Ammo balance changes.
  • Air vehicle aiming improvements such as computed impact points, aligned crosshairs for all air vehicle cameras, and HUD aim indicators.

AREAS OF FOCUS

Weapon Balance Pass

With Update 6.2 we are deploying a series of Weapon Balance changes and improvements based on your requests and in line with the overall game intent of these weapons. Take a look at some of the specific changes below and more broader changes within our changelog!

MCS-880 Rebalance

With the recent introduction of a pure Close Quarters map in Redacted, player feedback highlighted that the MCS-880 was performing beyond expectations, and we agreed. This was particularly creating unfair instances of one-hit-kills at longer ranges. Going forward, OHK’s will no longer be possible over 25 meters with the MCS-880 and it will be rarer to do so between 20  to 25 meters. Additionally, the #4 Buckshot (Ammo Type) performed the strongest at almost all ranges with Update 6.0, this will now be reduced to its intended short-range role.

G428

The G428’s role is to be a close-range DMR, as such we are reducing the Standard Issue Ammo 2-hit kill range from 40 meters to 20 meters. We’re also including a new 4-hit kill range over 125 meters. These changes will readjust this weapon into its close range, as intended.

You will also see further changes such as High Power ammo remaining viable at longer ranges, and more broader changes to recoil, accuracy and more to bring this weapon in line with other DMRs.

VHX

The VHX-D3 has received mixed feedback with some of you being for or against its damage output. While we will continue to monitor and tweak this weapon, we have decreased its starting accuracy and increased its dispersion build-up in response to players feeling it is packing too much of a punch.

Suppressor Minimap Stealth & Subsonic Ammo

Update 6.2 will also include changes to Suppressors, Subsonic Ammo and their beneficial intent of Minimap Stealth. While also factoring in the combined benefits of these two components being used at the same time. Check out our changelog further down in the Update Notes to discover more.

We’ll continue to react to feedback and to monitor both of these aspects of gunplay, our intention is to promote as much variety in weapons and builds as possible and we’ll continue to work on that goal.

Looking more broadly, we’ll continue to look for opportunities to improve both Shotgun, Suppressor and Subsonic Gunplay, and you can continue to expect more improvements in these areas in the future.

Air Vehicle Impact Improvements

Throughout recent months we have heard players request further improvements when it comes to vehicle aiming and crosshair alignment. With Update 6.2, the Vehicles Team will be rolling out computed impact points that take into consideration several factors such as Vehicle Velocity, Angular Velocity, Gravity and Drag to draw an accurate impact point of up to 300m.

Additionally we’ve also aligned the Vehicle Crosshair on all cameras that are available on Air Vehicles with this point, ensuring that player crosshairs are as accurate as they can be.

This feature will behave as a reliable impact point on vehicles with one weapon such as on Jets, however Air Vehicles that feature two weapons under their wings like the MD540 Nightbird will perform slightly different. We will therefore calculate the distance on both weapons and draw the average of both as the impact point so the actual weapons depending on your distance to target could still hit the sides of this center point but players will now be able to anticipate and read this.

Air Vehicle HUD Improvements

A common request from our air aficionados is for improvements to be made that would allow for an improved state of communication between Gunner and Pilot. The Vehicle Team have been working on bringing a feature from previous titles into Battlefield 2042 where the HUD will now feature aim indicators which will highlight the direction of aim for the Gunner and Pilot.

As a Gunner, this should now help orient yourself in respect to the direction that the Pilot is heading in, and it will also allow for the Pilot to understand what your current priorities are when it comes to engaging with ground targets.

Battlefield 2042 Update 1.46 Fires Out for Version 6.2.0; Patch Notes Listed

Battlefield 2042 update 1.46 has been pushed out by DICE, and this brings the patch version 6.2.0 changes to the game. Expect a nerf for a few guns, vehicle adjustments and more.

Battlefield 2042 Update 1.46 Patch Notes | Battlefield 2042 Update 6.2 Patch Notes:

Fight Crab 2 Early Access Pincers Out February 13; Demo Arrives Earlier

The next chapter for crab fighting is nearly upon us, as Calappa Games have announced that Fight Crab 2 will be entering early access this coming December. Get ready to do battle with giant crabs.

Fight Crab 2 enters early access (via Steam) on February 13. But wait, there’s more! A playable demo has also been announced and will be part of Steam Next Fest 2024, from February 5-12. BUT. WAIT. THERE’S. MORE. The early access announcement was accompanied by a new trailer.

About The Early Access

Why Early Access?

“We plan on improving the game based on feedback from the community, so that we can provide a more polished and complete game as the final product.

Since this game heavily features PvP, balancing is very important. In order to implement good balancing and creating a fun and exciting environment for players, feedback from players before full release is crucial.

We will be in Early Access in order to get feedback and polish our game as early as possible.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We expect to spend around 12 to 18 months in Early Access before full release.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“All game modes will be playable in Early Access, but we plan to flesh out several parts of the game for the full release.

Career Mode:
We plan on adding more events and bosses to this mode.

Game Balance:
We plan on observing the online environment during Early Access to tweak balancing issues.

Network Features:
We plan on testing network features frequently in order to provide a stable network environment upon release.

Additional Features:
We plan on adding more co-op options, skins, and playable crabs.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“At the start of Early Access, all main game modes will be available:
– Career Mode
– Local Matches
– Online Matches
– Tutorial Mode

We plan on tackling the following as we work on the full release:
– Game balancing tweaks
– More content for Career Mode
– More playable crabs

We’ll add more and more content in updates until the game is finished.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The game is still incomplete while in Early Access, so the price is lower than the planned full release price. This means the price will likely increase when the game is fully released.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We will make use of the Community Hub and gather players’ opinions on Steam in Japanese, English, and Simplified Chinese. Players’ opinions and suggestions will likely be referenced and used during development.”

Soon, my friends, you’ll be able to live your best life as a crab, battling other crabs.

GTA 6 Platforms Confirmed for PS5, Xbox Series, But Not PC

After having its trailer leak, Rockstar Games has officially announced Grand Theft Auto 6 today rather than the original plan for tomorrow. While the trailer had much to show, one thing was absent: the mention of platforms. Well, we now have the answer, as the studio has confirmed that it’ll be available on both the PS5 and Xbox Series consoles. As for PC gamers, it looks like GTA 6 will be skipping out on the platform, at least for now.

In a press release sent to us, Rockstar Games confirmed that GTA 6 will be released on the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S sometime in 2025. Here’s what they had to say about the game itself, confirming

“Grand Theft Auto VI continues our efforts to push the limits of what’s possible in highly immersive, story-driven open-world experiences,” said Sam Houser, Founder of Rockstar Games. “We’re thrilled to be able to share this new vision with players everywhere.

Grand Theft Auto VI heads to the state of Leonida, home to the neon-soaked streets of Vice City and beyond in the biggest, most immersive evolution of the Grand Theft Auto series yet.”

What was somewhat surprising is that the press release made no mention of a PC version of Grand Theft Auto 6, leading us to believe that Rockstar will skip the platform for its launch. This shouldn’t come as much of a shock, as past Grand Theft Auto games have also skipped PC during their launch and were released at a later date.

It’s still a massive disappointment if that’s the case, as the games have an enormous following on PC.

There has yet to be any public statement from Embracer on the studio’s closure.

Embracer Group warned earlier this year with their restricting plans that there would be several significant changes, including cancellation and consolidation within the publisher. Prior, Saint Row developers Viloition, who have been in business for over 30 years, were closed down, with reports that Timesplitter developers Free Radical also being at risk of closing their doors.

We’ll continue to monitor the situation, and should any new developments arise, we’ll be sure to issue an update.

It’s been a rough year in every industry, as companies all over the globe have had layoffs despite reporting record-breaking profits. The gaming industry seems to have it the worst, as it has become nearly a monthly occurrence all year. An industry that has, for most, been rather light on layoffs, is now experiencing them in full, in a year that many gamers would consider to be one of the best for releases.

Our hearts and prayers go out to all affected by the closures. Let us hope this starts to slow down as we head into 2024.

The Last of Us 2 Remastered Roguelike Mode “No Return” Gameplay Trailer Slices Out

One of the biggest surprises with The Last of Us 2 Remastered reveal was the announcement of new roguelike mode, “No Return.” While Naughty Dog has shown bits of it off already, they’ve released a new gameplay trailer, giving us a deeper look at The Last of Us 2 Remastered No Return Mode.

The Last of Us 2 Remastered Roguelike Mode “No Return” Gameplay Trailer:

This looks to be a fantastic addition to the Remastered, and while it won’t feature co-op, we can’t help but feel this would be an incredible experience if it had some. Maybe a post-launch update will eventually add it, much like how Returnal added co-op? One can hope, right?

Oh, and in case you missed the news, preorders will officially go live tomorrow for The Last of Us 2 Remastered W.L.F. Edition. A breakdown of all its content can be found below.

Here’s the rundown on everything included in this package:

  • Steelbook Case – The Steelbook case showcases Ellie’s journey through Seattle on the front, and Abby’s journey on the back. It’s a companion piece to The Last of Us Part I’s Firefly Edition Steelbook case.
  • Society of Champions Trading Cards – Each of the Society of Champions trading cards found in-game in The Last of Us Part 2 are available in this collection, made using the in-game files themselves. There are eight holographic cards.
  • W.L.F Patch – A patch inspired by the W.L.F. soldiers from the game is included, portraying a wolf on a yellow background.
  • Enamel Pins – There are four pins included in the pack, including one based on the bracelet Dina gives to Ellie and one based on the birthday cassette from Joel.

The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered will launch on January 19, 2024, for PS5. For those who already own the PS4 version, there will be a digital upgrade available for $10.

GTA 6 Reveal Trailer Leaks, Game Releases 2025 (Update)

With just a day to go, the (Grand Theft Auto) GTA 6 trailer has leaked! As expected, it is officially titled “Grand Theft Auto VI,” and it will be released in 2025.

Check it out now before Take-Two Interactive has it pulled!

Update 2: Take-Two Interactive has released the official trailer which is a good response given it’s already out there.

Update: As expected, Take-Two has nuked it from Twitter, but it’s out there now, and people have been uploading it on video hosting sites. I suggest just waiting for tomorrow’s trailer to get the full effect.

https://twitter.com/gta6trailerleak/status/1731795100546539836?t=xhVrDR1r-sEOZPRyL9lm4w

The trailer indicates that the game’s protagonist will be female, and based on what’s shown so far, it looks insane! Of course, if you’d rather experience it without the annoying “Buy $BTC” text covering it up, you’ll probably want to wait until tomorrow at 9 am ET/6 am PT/10 pm HKT for the official reveal.

With today’s leak culture, we shouldn’t be surprised this got leaked, but I do feel for Rockstar, as the game got leaked big time last year with the hack, and now this.

Let’s hope there’s more news to come out tomorrow outside of the reveal.

Call of Duty Warzone Stats Reset Confirmed for Season 1; Player Count and Squad Options Confirmed for Urzikstan

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone Season 1 is launching this week, and while there’s plenty to be excited about, one thing players will want to know is that their Warzone stats are getting a reset once the new map, Urzikstan, arrives.

This was confirmed via a call with Call of Duty developers with content creators to discuss the upcoming Warzone season. Among the chat was a confirmation of a Warzone stats reset and new information concerning the map’s player count, queue options, and more. Content creator Modern Warzone posted these details on X, which you can read in the summary below.

  • Player stats are being reset in Warzone when Urzikstan launches on December 6.
  • Urzikstan is “20%” smaller than Al Mazrah.
  • It will be 100 players at launch.
  • Singles, duos, trios, and quads are available at launch and for the full season.
  • Enemy pings will show in Killcams.
  • Emotes and gestures are not planned for the new Season of Warzone on Urzikstan.

Some big stuff was revealed there, especially the Warzone state reset. While stat resets are typically met with backlash, the improvements this season over what was essentially Warzone 2.0 are significant enough. Plus, Warzone 2.0 wasn’t exactly well received by players, so wiping those stats and starting fresh may be the wise decision as we’re sure plenty want to forget their time with the title.

What do you think? Are you glad or disappointed a state wipe is coming?

World of Warcraft Down With Server Issues This Dec. 4, Blizzard Investigating (Update)

For those on Azeroth trying to login but can’t, it’s not just you, as the World of Warcraft (WOW) servers are having issues this December 4, and this is something Blizzard Entertainment has acknowledged.

World of Warcraft Down With Server Issues This Dec. 4:

Update: Blizzard has announced that login issues have been resolved.

This server outage has been acknowledged by the official Blizzard Support Twitter account:

And also by Blizzard on the game’s official Discord channel where mod Elleiana gave a few things players can do while waiting:

Things you can do while servers are down:

  • Be calm.
  • Drink some water.
  • Take a shower.
    Go for a walk.
  • Pet your pets.
  • Touch some grass.
  • Do some housework/chores.
  • Learn a new skill.
  • Draw a picture of a sheep.
  • Call your parents/grandparents/loved ones. (You really should call them anyway)

Blizzard forum member Ghöstey posted the following:

Found something:

“WoW got hammered by an infrastructure change with very unexpected results, we’re working to get everything back up asap.”

“The root of this one is an update to the teeny little service that bootstraps the VMs and delivers OS updates etc. Deployed fine in test, on Live, WoW did not approve and we locked up our file stores globally. We’re left with a lot of manual cleanup to get things moving again.”

“Thankfully WoW’s site reliability engineers are awesome and are churning through the work, we’re making sure there’s no other surprises waiting for us and then we’ll get you back in as quickly as we can.”

In other WoW news, Blizzard has recently said that they are “well positioned” to bring World of Warcraft to consoles.

Once we know more about the server outage, we’ll update the article. If you can connect, leave a comment below and let us know from where you’re connecting from.

Payday 3 Syntax Error DLC Details Revealed: New Heist, Weapons, and More

The first Payday 3 DLC, Syntax Error, is right around the corner, and the devs have revealed a bunch of juicy new details about what we can expect when it drops sometime this month. The new update will include a fresh set of weapons, a new enemy type, a brand-new skill line, and more.

All of these updates come from today’s Dev Update, which you can watch here:

Here’s the bullet points of everything that was announced in the video:

Payday 3 Syntax Error DLC Details:

  • The Story Continues – Syntax Error picks up right where Touch the Sky left off. The gang’s found intel on some incredibly valuable drone operating software, and it’s being stored at a data center called ScryDigital. The team will have to dodge an advanced AI security network and make off with the software to find out who’s still hunting them.
  • New Cosmetics – The Syntax Error DLC releases alongside a new Tailor Pack that contains four outfits, four gloves, and four masks. Additionally, a new handful of free cosmetics will be available to all heisters.
  • New Weapons – A new weapon pack containing an SMG, a shotgun, and a marksman rifle will also release in this update. These guns aim to fill a void in the current lineup, allowing for a more diverse selection.
  • New Enemy Type – The Techie is a new enemy that hides himself around the map and pilots drones to attack heisters. Players will have to seek him out and take him down to stop the constant barrage of technology. The Techie will initially only show up in Syntax Error heists, but Starbreeze promises to bring him to other heists in the near future.
  • Scrambler Skill Line – The Scrambler Skill Line is a new set of abilities that will be available to all players. These skills are aimed at combating the new Techie, including one that allows heisters to hack the enemy drones for their own use.

Starbreeze also confirmed that players who do not own Syntax Error will still be able to join and play with friends who do own it. This is a nice touch that’ll keep friend groups on the same page even if they don’t all want to pick up the DLC.

If you’re interested in Payday 3, you can check out the latest update here.

Payday 3 Syntax Error releases sometime this month. We’ll be sure to let our readers know when the patch notes drop.

Call of Duty Warzone DLSS 3 Support Coming With Season 1; Path Tracing and DLSS 3.5 For Lobbies

4000 series Nvidia card owners will be delighted to know that DLSS 3 support is coming to Warzone this week with the launch of Season 1, with Path Tracing and DLSS 3.5 available in lobbies for both Warzone and Modern Warfare 3.

This news comes as part of the Nvidia RTX Games celebration, where the company announced that there are 500 games and apps that now support DLSS, Ray Tracing & AI-Enhanced Technologies.

But buried in the celebration post is news that DLSS 3 support (already included in Modern Warfare 3) is finally coming to Warzone. This feature will fully be available for 4000 series Nvidia cards once Season 1 starts.

“For GeForce RTX 40 Series gamers, Season 1 sees the debut of NVIDIA DLSS 3 in Call of Duty: Warzone, multiplying performance. GeForce RTX 20 Series and 30 Series gamers can boost performance with DLSS Super Resolution.

And if performance is high enough already in your opinion, you can instead enable NVIDIA DLAA, an AI-based anti-aliasing mode that utilizes the same technology developed for DLSS. DLAA uses a native resolution image to maximize image quality, rather than boosting performance, for an even richer, more detailed experience.

Additionally, all GeForce gamers, dating back to users of the GeForce GTX 900 Series, can activate NVIDIA Reflex.

NVIDIA Reflex is synonymous with responsive gaming, and can be found in the latest and greatest games. Reflex reduces system latency so your actions occur quicker, potentially giving you a competitive edge in multiplayer matches, and making single-player titles more responsive and enjoyable. NVIDIA Reflex is now used by over 50 million players each month, is available in 9 of the top 10 competitive shooters, and is activated by 90% of GeForce gamers in over 90 supported titles.”

This isn’t the only surprise either, as full ray tracing and even DLSS 3.5 are coming too, though they’re restricted to the game’s menu at this time.

“Full ray tracing, otherwise known as path tracing, is a demanding but highly accurate way to render light and its effect on a scene. Reflections, shadows, ambient occlusion, and more are all amped up, letting your Call of Duty content shine with incredible detail and realism. Inspect your Gunsmith weapons with enhanced detail, see your characters with pixel-perfect lighting and shadowing, head to the Firing Range to test your beautifully rendered loadouts, and marvel at immersive pre-game moments with you and your assembled squad.”

It’s but a step, and we expect full Path Tracing and DLSS 3.5 support to eventually arrive in all modes of Warzone and Modern Warfare 3 (as well as the new Black Ops) later next year.
