Payday 3 Voucher Not Working: Devs Provide Update Regarding Special Edition Content

Are you running into an issue where your Payday 3 voucher is not working? If you were one of the players who bought the Silver, Gold, or Collector’s Edition, worry not: your Payday 3 Special Edition content should be accessible in just a few short hours as part of the latest patch. That being said, we’ve got some clarification on how these bonuses will be added to your game and the timing of said bonuses if you’re in the Asia or Japan region.

According to the official Payday 3 Twitter/X page, EU and NA Collector’s Edition owners should be able to start redeeming their voucher codes. For digital purchases, items should start granting to your account within the next 24 hours:

As noted in the tweet, it might take a little longer if you’re in the Asia or Japan regions. Those entitlements could take until Monday to properly fulfill, so players in those regions hoping to get their hands on pre-order content this weekend might be out of luck. This also applies to content from Gold and Silver edition purchases:

One last thing to note, players who purchased the regular or Silver edition will not be able to upgrade in order to receive another edition’s benefits. This was also confirmed via the Payday 3 account this morning:

Including the word “currently” could mean that they might eventually implement a way for players to upgrade which edition they own, but for the time being, we wouldn’t count on it. Make sure that if you’re going to buy the game, you buy the version you really want.

We’re still waiting on the planned changes to progression that the devs discussed last month. Hopefully this content is enough to hold players over in the meantime.

We’ll be sure to let our readers know as soon as there are more updates.

Overwatch 2 New Tank Mauga Announced, Play the New Hero This Weekend Before Official Launch on Dec. 5

At BlizzCon, Blizzard Entertainment revealed the Overwatch 2 new tank named “Mauga.” Officially launching this December 5. Now if you want to play the new hero before its official launch, you can do so starting today!

For a limited time, players will be able to test out the new OW2 tank from today up to November 5! Read on for the new hero info straight from Blizzard via the press release sent out.

Mauga is charging his way onto the Battlefield in a trial weekend, available now through Sunday, November 5. Mauga is a powerful, brawling Tank Hero who will tear through the competition with his incendiary and volatile chainguns. Keep reading to find out how you can jump into Overwatch® 2 right now and play Mauga this weekend before his full release in Season 8.

Check Out Mauga’s Burning New Abilities
Mauga features a kit that is designed to bash through the front lines and brawl his opponents in close-quarter combat, by wielding two powerful Chainguns that can either be fired individually or in unison. Ignite enemies with his Incendiary Chaingun “Gunny” to burn them when they take enough damage, then finish them with a critical hit from his Volatile Chaingun “Cha-Cha.” Paired with his Berserker Passive, which grants Mauga temporary health whenever he deals critical damage, he’s a mountain on the battlefield.

Mauga’s not just a leading star—he also brings a host of new abilities to support his team as well. Mauga can break his way through the front lines with Overrun, a charging ability that cannot be stopped by any crowd control abilities, and stomps into opponents dealing a powerful knockback. When the fight gets intense for his team, he has Cardiac Overdrive to engage both of his hearts and create an aura that reduces incoming damage, allowing allies to heal themselves while dealing damage. Finally, when he really wants to tango up close with his foes, Mauga can unleash Cage Fight, his ultimate ability. Cage Fight traps nearby opponents in a cylindrical fighting ring. This barrier blocks enemy incoming damage or healing from the outside, forcing those trapped inside to face Mauga with Gunny, Cha Cha, and the barrage of infinite ammunition. If you can’t take him down quickly, the last thing you might see is his charming smile.

Mauga will be playable in OW2 from today until Sunday, November 5. Once the weekend is over, the new tank hero will be back once Season 8 starts on December 5. This might be the ideal time to jump in, as there’s also a new crossover content with K-Pop group Le Sserafim happening right now.

There’s more Overwatch 2 incoming from BlizzCon, so stay tuned here on MP1st for tomorrow’s reveals.

Blizzard has announced the.Diablo 4 first expansion titled “Vessel of Hatred” and it’s is coming next year, along with a never-before-released class in tow.

Announced during the opening of this year’s Blizzcon, below you’ll find a trailer for the Vessel of Hatred expansion.

Diablo 4 Vessel of Hatred Trailer

Blizzard didn’t elaborate much about the expansion, though we know it’ll take place in a region called “Nahantu” with the story centered around Mephisto. Other than that, it’ll include a never-before-seen class, with a current target release of “late” 2024.

We’ll keep an eye out for more information as it becomes available, though don’t expect to hear much about it as it’s still a way out. In the meantime, Diablo 4 players will have to keep playing through Season 2, and hopefully, Blizzard will drop hints about the expansion throughout the rest of the season and upcoming ones.

Honkai: Star Rail Version 1.5 Releases on November 7, Trailer and Details Revealed

Developer miHoYo has announced the next Honkai: Star Rail update following its recent release on PlayStation. Version 1.5 drops November 7 and brings three new characters, a new area, and more!

Here’s the reveal trailer, which released today:

Here are the update details straight from today’s press release:

After solving different kinds of intergalactic conflicts, the Trailblazers will set foot in an uncharted and spooky area for the very first time! A while back, the Creation Furnace Artisanship Commission was shattered, and the heliobi trapped inside were able to escape and find refuge in the Fyxestroll Garden. Heliobi are created from accumulated grievances and can inhabit individuals, manipulate their senses, and control their souls and even their bodies. The Fyxestroll Garden is already filled with yin energy and is littered with ancient suppression towers, stone monoliths, and gnarled trees, which contributes to its creepy atmosphere. Since the arrival of the heliobi, it has become one of the most dangerous places in the Xianzhou Luofu.

To solve the crisis caused by heliobi, Trailblazers will assemble a ghost-hunting squad and embark on the quest to unravel these mysteries. During this exciting experience, Trailblazers might get a helping hand from one of the Xianzhou’s most formidable forces: The Ten-Lords Commission, the authorities of the supernatural, guardians against evil forces, and the arbiters of life and death.

Characters from the Ten-Lords Commission are willing to weigh in and support Trailblazer’s journey. Huohuo, for example, a trainee judge from the Ten-Lords Commission, will join the playable cast as a five-star Wind-Type character who follows the Path of Abundance. Growing up, Huohuo was a timid Foxian girl who, during her childhood, faced an unusual ordeal when she was possessed by a heliobus. In order to save her life, the Ten-Lords Commission had to contain the heliobus within Huohuo’s tail. Afterwards, she developed an unusual affinity towards malevolent things. Recognizing her ability to pacify this monstrous being, the Ten-Lords Commission graciously welcomed Huohuo into their ranks. During battles, Huohuo’s Skill allows her to bravely wield her banner and restore hit points to a single ally and adjacent teammates. Her Ultimate is also helpful as it can rejuvenate her allies’ Energy and bolster their attack.

Another four-star new character, Hanya, also works as a judge at the Ten-Lords Commission. Hanya is a Physical-Type character following the Path of Harmony, and she specializes in reading the karmic sins of the criminals and employs her Oracle Brush to determine their sins. Aside from dealing physical damage to a single target during battles, Hanya’s Skill can also afflict the target with a Burden state. When an ally executes a set amount of attacks on an enemy marked with Burden, they will not only deal increased damage to that enemy but also regain a Skill Point.

In addition to the Ten-Lords Commission, players can recruit Argenti, a noble and admirable member of the Knights of Beauty. Argenti is a five-star Physical-Type character following the Path of Erudition and a devoted admirer of Idrila the Beauty. Treating and helping others with courtesy, and offering sincere praise to all is Argenti’s code. Elegance is Argenti’s middle name and even manifests itself in his combat. Argenti’s Ultimate ability is genuinely distinctive, as it triggers different effects based on the amount of Energy consumed. When expending a small amount of Energy, Argenti’s Ultimate damages all enemies. However, when consuming all his Energy, Argenti’s Ultimate inflicts even more significant damage multiple times and includes additional harm to a randomly selected target.

Additionally, while Huohuo, Hanya, and Argenti debut as playable characters, Trailblazers can look forward to various exciting events, such as helping March 7th restore her cherished photographs to their original conditions. Furthermore, the game will introduce a Guest Book feature update, allowing Trailblazers to check on the visiting history of their friends to the Astral Express. Lastly, the Genius Society’s latest update, “Simulated Universe: World 8,” is also set to launch soon for those who crave more challenges.

Once the update is out, we’ll be sure to let our readers know. For all other news on Honkai: Star Rail, stay tuned in to us here at MP1st.

Modern Warfare 3 Weapons: Guns, Equipment and Killstreaks Complete List Available

With the next Call of Duty right around the corner, Sledgehammer Games is keeping us informed on what to expect. As such, we’ve got a complete list of Modern Warfare 3 weapons coming to the game, including guns, equipment, and killstreaks you’ll be able to equip at launch.

Without further ado, let’s dive into everything available in-game:

Modern Warfare 3 Weapons Complete List:

The Pre-season of Modern Warfare III brings an impressive arsenal of 37 different weapons (as well as 6 Aftermarket Parts) to complement the 77 armaments carrying forward from Modern Warfare II and the six seasons of free weapon content. This brings the total number of weapons available to 114. Here’s some additional context to assist you as you build your weaponry from the largest selection ever seen in a Modern Warfare game:

Modern Warfare 3 Weapon Select

  • Distinguishing Markers – Both MWII and MWIII weapons are easily distinguishable in the Weapon Select menus, as each features the logo of the game it originates from (see above).

Like a Dragon Gaiden Was Planned to Be DLC, But Evolved Into a Full Game; Took 6 Months to Make

Within the span of a few months, the Like a Dragon series (or Yakuza for us old-timers) is going to be getting two full-featured-length games. While that’s a big endeavor for most studios, it seems that studio RGG has built a system to manage that easily. However, it doesn’t seem like that was initially the plan, as Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name was originally conceived to be a DLC for Infinite Wealth that eventually evolved into something bigger.

In an interview with Automaton, Like a Dragon Gaiden writer Masayoshi Yokoyama confirmed that the spin-off, Like a Dragon Gaiden, was originally intended to be DLC for the upcoming Like a Dragon sequel, Infinite Wealth.

“There isn’t a huge difference Between Like a Dragon Gaiden and Like a Dragon 8. By this I mean that, in a sense, Like a Dragon Gaiden was derived from Like a Dragon 8. We could have just told of Kiryu’s past through a thirty-minute interlude as part of Like a Dragon 8, but we decided it would be a lot more interesting as a game of its own, which is how the project came to be. Though this meant having a whole extra game to make, it still uses the same engine, so we thought “It’s not like we have to make it from scratch,” and decided to go with it. In the end, it took us about half a year to make it. “

He goes on to say that while originally planned as DLC, it eventually grew big enough to be engaging for a full experience.

“… we first considered making it as DLC, but then decided it was engaging enough for a physical edition. But, for a physical edition, we needed more content, so we decided to add some. This is how things escalated. “

What’s surprising is that the team built Like a Dragon Gaiden in a little over 6 months. The team goes on to explain in the interview how each member of the studio is assigned a specific task for every game they make. So development goes smoothly since the person who’s always been in charge of a certain thing is still handling it in the follow-ups. Talk about optimization!

Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name launches November 8, 2023, for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

Report: Alan Wake 2 Datamine Reveals More Control Tie-Ins for Upcoming DLC and Expansions

Spoiler warning for everyone out there: Alan Wake 2 has been datamined, with information surfacing for not only New Game Plus but also for one of the game’s upcoming expansions.

If you haven’t beaten Alan Wake yet, now might be the time to turn back as we’ll be discussing the content of the datamine, which some might consider spoiler-ish. Still with us? Alright, don’t say I didn’t warn you.

Typically, we don’t take 4Chan leaks seriously, as often there is no proof provided, but in the case of the datamined content for Alan Wake 2, video proof of what the user has claimed has now surfaced, adding credibility to this leak.

First, we already know that Alan Wake 2 is getting a New Game Plus, with Sam Lake previously teasing that the free DLC would be significant. Based on this leak, when NG+ is added to Alan Wake 2, new endings will also be introduced at the end of NG+. For those who beat the game, it ends on a cliffhanger, which NG+ seemingly addresses.

Further, a character briefly teased throughout the game makes a full appearance. Like some characters, such as Thomas Zane and Alice, they’ll communicate with the character via video recording. That character? None other than Dr. Darling himself, who many will remember being a character prominently shown throughout Control.

Per the leaks, he supposedly ties Alan Wake 2 into the planned Lake House DLC, which has been previously confirmed to feature both Alan and Saga.

There’s nothing on the Night Springs DLC from this datamine, despite being the first planned paid DLC to drop. That may be due to it being potentially more of a side story, as it’ll feature other characters instead of Alan and Saga.

Nonetheless, it’s clear that Remedy plans to push the whole shared universe idea even further with upcoming updates and DLC. Alan Wake 2 already featured plenty of that, from Ahti the Janitor to the Federal Bureau of Control.

We can only speculate that this will all eventually lead into Control 2, though whether Alan Wake or Saga Anderson will be featured throughout it will be interesting to see.

Alan Wake 2 is now available for purchase on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

  • Various improvements to cab lighting.
    • Added a second spotlight component that illuminates the air condition panel.
    • Corrected the behaviour of the reading light and cab light. Reading light requires the battery to turn on, the cab light illuminates regardless of battery state.
    • Increased the brightness of the cab and reading lights.
    • Disabled input to the Reading Light fuse (to match real life input)
  • Added PZB reverse status message
  • Added missing “Schnellbr. durch Seitenfahrschalter” CCD message
  • Implemented country dependent “Quick Release” behaviour.
    • In Germany, the Quick Release only fills the brake pipe to 5.0 bar and does not manually overcharge the brake pipe (automatic overcharge is still active and boosts the EQ/BP to 5.2 bar).
    • In other countries, Quick Release will allow the BP to rise to 5.8 bar and holding the lever in this position also overcharges the EQ/BP up to 5.8 bar.
  • Range of improvements to Vectron functionality and logic
    • Changed Electric Brake Valve logic to be absolute (standard/old behaviour) in Germany and relative in other countries.
    • Implemented logic to force the Train Brake lever to skip step 1A if going from “Running” to a higher step.
    • Fixed an issue with the “1A-1B notch logic” of the train brake lever that sometimes made the train brake jump back to 1B when releasing into 1A, if the train brake had been moved to notch 2 or higher previously without stopping in 1A or 1B.
    • Changed the behaviour of the Train Length Counter to turn off the function after 5 minutes of the train being stationary.
  • Fixed an issue that caused the train length remaining number to get stuck if the train stopped before it had run out.
  • Fixed the Horn High/Low fuses to be up when closed and down when open.
  • Fixed the Horn fuse labels that made the label always state “Open”.
  • Fixed the Ebula Time and Date display
  • Fixed an issue in the TDD Overview page that made the total tractive effort number have a minus sign even when zero, if recently braking.
  • Fixed PZB mode always showing 55 after switching from reverse to neutral/forward till reconstruct
  • Fixed an issue with the road runner display.
  • Fixed an issue where AFB would not flash on AFB activation
  • GSMR beep will now sound upon cab activation rather than moving the Reverser to Forward.
  • Fixed an issue where AFB would not sound when moving the Reverser to Neutral.
  • Changed BSAAS Battery State to use the actual Battery state rather than Supply Voltage.
  • Implemented a trigger that sounds the ZBF alert when moving the reverser to Forward with PZB enabled.
  • Fixed an issue that made the transformer audio cut out when the MCB is opened and then closed above 40 km/h.
  • Fixed an issue that made it possible to change the PZB mode in the MFD settings page while the locomotive is running or PZB is in restrictive mode.

Flying Scotsman

  • Enabled Gamepad interaction with AWS control.
  • AWS Warning and AWS Clear sounds can now play out of the PlayStation controller speaker.
  • Resolved issue with the AWS whereby going over a clear magnet would play the Warning end sound.
  • Alarms can now be heard both in and outside the cab
  • Implemented new Scotsman Chuffs from mainline recordings.

Cajon Pass

  • Removed branding for “Snapple” on the hotdog cart collectable.

Luzern-Sursee

  • Fixed an issue resulting in a crash on Luzern’s “Unexpected Express” scenario.

Great Western Express

  • Raised HST Drivers Seat camera by 10cm following community feedback.

Dispolok 182

  • Updated sounds and logic for horns.
  • Updated traction motor implementation and sounds

CHAPTER 4 SEASON OG RANKED

Welcome to Chapter 4 Season OG Ranked! As usual with a new Season, everyone’s rank has been reset in Chapter 4 Season OG to provide a fresh start for all players.

Also as usual, you’ll only need to play one Ranked match in Chapter 4 Season OG to have your rank revealed (one match per Battle Royale and Zero Build). Your performance in your first match does not determine your initial rank placement. Rather, it reveals your rank and then updates your rank progress bar based on your performance in the match.

RANKED MATCHMAKING TEST

In the higher ranks? It’s expected that matchmaking may take a little longer than if you were in a lower rank. We recently began a test to help get you in a match faster in Ranked. Specifically, lobbies with 80+ players will begin a match if matchmaking is taking a while. As we monitor, we may adjust the threshold of players and the time passed it takes for a match to begin.

Another aim of this test is fairer matches for higher-ranked players, by tightening the range of players able to join a match.

FASTER RANK PROGRESSION IN FORTNITE OG

With Fortnite OG being a short Season, rank progression will be faster at the higher and middle ranks to accommodate. Players will be penalized less for being eliminated early in a match, and will have slightly faster increases to their rank progression bar. Keep aiming for Unreal!

Additionally, we’ve made progression faster for players in the Bronze ranks, so friends queuing up together across ranks will see more consistent progression.

REMINISCENT RANKED REWARD

Fortnite Ranker's Tag Back Bling

When you jump off the Battle Bus in a Ranked match, you’ll be given a Ranked Urgent Quest. By completing certain amounts of Ranked Urgent Quests, you’ll unlock in-game rewards! Unlock the Chapter 1-inspired Ranker’s Tags Back Bling by completing just one Ranked Urgent Quest during Fortnite OG.

Ranker’s Tags will display the color of the highest rank you’ve reached this Season. Proud of the rank you reached? Show it off in this Season and beyond!

CLASSICALLY COMPETITIVE

Don’t let a reverse in time mean a reverse in competitive drive. Learn about Fortnite OG’s competitive offerings, including Ranked Cups, at our Fortnite OG Competitive Details blog post!

Fortnite Competitor's Skyblades and Competitor's Time Brella

The Competitor’s Skyblades and Competitor’s Time Brella, earnable Glider rewards from Ranked Cups.
