Why Are Palworld Servers Down and Having Connection Issues This August 9:

Here’s the announcement from Pocket Pair regarding the server situation:

Hello everyone,

We have identified a critical error with the servers, and as a result, have had to take them offline while we work on fixing the problem.

Unfortunately, due to national holidays in Japan, we will be unable to fix them before the weekend. We will try our best to resolve this problem as soon as we can, and we apologize to those who will be unable to play on the official servers for the time being.

Thank you for your continued support

No word yet on how long this will take, but based on the messaging, it’ll be a while. If your friends are having issues, direct them to this article. We’ll be updating it as more news develops, so stay tuned.

If a patch is released to fix this, we’ll let our readers know. Speaking of which, there was a patch released a few days ago that housed bug fixes.

GTA 5 Sales Over 200 Million Units, Red Dead Redemption 2 at 65 Million Units; GTA+ Grew “Strong Double Digits” Over Last Year

The Grand Theft Auto 5 train keeps on chugging! Six months ago, Rockstar Games parent company Take-Two Interactive announced that GTA 5 sales have hit a staggering 195 million units. Well, that number has climbed exponentially once again, as Take-Two has announced that Grand Theft Auto 5 sales have now hit the 200-million mark!

This announcement was made during the company’s quarterly financials report, where Take-Two touted how GTA+ — GTA Online’s paid subscription service — also grew “strong double digits” over the last year.

The Grand Theft Auto series exceeded our expectations, as momentum continues to build ahead of the launch of Grand Theft Auto VI in Fall 2025. Unit sales for Grand Theft Auto V continue to grow, and to date, the title has sold-in over 200 million units. Grand Theft Auto
Online also surpassed our projections, led by its Summer content pack, Bottom Dollar Bounties, which launched June 25th. The audience for Rockstar’s premium membership service, GTA+, grew strong double digits over last year, with Rockstar Games offering its members an array of valuable benefits that range from enhancing the in-game experience to providing access to their classic titles, including the recent addition of L.A. Noire.

In addition to that announcement, Take-Two also announced Red Dead Redemption 2 sales are now at 65 million, which is four million units more than what it was six months ago.

We are pleased with the performance of Red Dead Redemption 2, which has sold-in more than 65 million units to-date. In addition, Red Dead Online continued to engage its audience during the period with new monthly bonuses and free outfits inspired by top content creators within the Red Dead community.

At this point, who else doesn’t own GTA 5, right? With GTA 6 set to be unleashed next year, chances are, this number will even climb. Congrats for skiing in your mountain of money, Take-Two!

Warner Bros. Considering Licensing Harry Potter, DC, Batman, and More Franchises to Other Studios

Warner Bros. is exploring the idea of licensing its franchises to other game developers. This strategy aims to boost the company’s performance and revenue, especially after the disappointing release of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, which led to a $200 million revenue hit for Warner Bros.

During a recent Q2 earnings call, Warner Bros. Discovery CEO David Zaslav discussed the potential benefits of licensing their IPs.

Zaslav said:

One of the strategic advantages of owning all our IP is, as the world has changed, it used to be you launch a movie or you launch a TV series, then you do a game. But one of the reasons that Hogwarts Legacy was so successful and the #1 game last year, you went to Hogwarts Legacy and you entered the game and you were able to become part of that world. That ultimately I think is a big piece of where this industry is going. That we’ll create a movie, whether it’s Batman or Superman or Harry Potter, and maybe there’ll be a TV show, but the ability to go in that world and have that experience of spending time with all the characters is something that we still own. We have 11 studios here, and we have a lot of IP. And there’s also a lot of interest among others in coming to take advantage of some of that IP for gaming, which we’re looking at. Because as JB said, we need to get bigger, and the IP that we own and the value that it has in the gaming space is something we’re looking to take advantage of.

He emphasized the interest from other developers in using Warner Bros.’ IPs for gaming.

Warner Bros. has already seen success with Hogwarts Legacy, which sold over 22 million copies. This success story contrasts sharply with the failure of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League.

This move could lead to a variety of new games from different studios, much like how Disney licenses out its properties like Star Wars and Marvel. By licensing out their IPs, Warner Bros. hopes to see more successful titles without the financial risk of developing games in-house.

Vampire Survivors PlayStation Release Targets Aug. 29 for PS4 and PS5. as PSN Page Goes Up

One of the most addictive games of 2022 is finally making its way to PlayStation platforms this month! Luca Galante’s (aka. poncle) rogue-like shoot-’em-up Vampire Survivors finally has a PlayStation release date and it’s August 29 for both PS4 and PS5.

Check out the release date trailer:

Alongside the release date announcement, the game’s PlayStation Network page is now live, too!

Not familiar with Vampire Survivors? Don’t let the simplistic graphics fool you, as this is one deep action game. Here’s the game’s official description that doesn’t do it justice: Vampire Survivors is a time survival game with minimalistic gameplay and roguelite elements. Hell is empty, the devils are here, and there’s no place to run or hide. All you can do is survive as long as you can until death inevitably puts an end to your struggles. Gather gold in each run to buy upgrades and help the next survivor.

According to poncle, they are working on cross-platform save, which isn’t verified now whether it will be part of the game’s PS4 and PS5 release.

As someone who’s played this a lot on Steam Deck, I cannot recommend this game enough. Barring anything major to screw up the gameplay, this is an insta-buy especially at its super low price.

The Sims 4 Update 1.97 Released for Consoles This Aug. 8, and Here Are the Patch Notes

Maxis has pushed out The Sims 4 update 1.97 on consoles (PC version 1.108.349.1020), which brings a significant number of fixes and tweaks to the life sim game. Read on for everything new in The Sims 4’s August 8 patch notes.

The Sims 4 Update 1.97 Patch Notes for Aug. 8:

PC: 1.108.349.1020 / Mac: 1.108.349.1220

Console: 1.97

Sul Sul, Simmers!

This update includes a range of improvements, such as expanding the options to romance Ghosts and Vampires in Lovestruck and adding the ability to preview songs when “Safe for Streaming” is toggled.

As part of our continued commitment to tackling technical issues, please follow @TheSimsDirect for the most up-to-date information on the deployment of these fixes. As always, if you have any issues, please share with us on AnswersHQ.

Base Game / Multipack

  • [AHQ] Error Code 121 no longer occurs when moving in a household for the “Finding Love After a Breakup” Scenario.
  • [AHQ] Error Code 123 no longer occurs in certain circumstances when traveling to another location.
  • [AHQ] Cost of living just went back up: Sims once again can pay bills when they are due.
  • [AHQ] Previously distorted glasses are back in shape.
  • Improved interface for the Safe for Streaming Music options. Songs that aren’t safe to stream should be grayed out, while available songs can now be previewed.
  • Sims rejected from being asked on a date through the Relationship Panel now are firmly rejected with a Notification. Just to make it official.
  • “Start a New Relationship“ is no longer a Want for Sims with the Noncommittal Trait.
  • You might have seen the option to “Lecture About Responsibilities“ twice in the interaction menu when a parent is talking to their teen Sim. It should now just appear once, so enough with the nagging.

Seasons

With Lovestruck…

  • The Dr. June’s Weather Control Device no longer offers snow in Ciudad Enamorada. Winters are warm here!

High School Years

  • Married Sims no longer propose to other Sims.

Growing Together

With Lovestruck…

  • Sims asked on a date from Cupid’s Corner only have three Traits now, leaving room for new Traits through Self Discovery.  Sims found previously through Cupid’s Corner still will have more Traits than average – overachievers.
  • The text for the Self Discovery moment of swapping the Unflirty or Romantically Reserved Traits to Lovebug now accurately reflects the traits being swapped.

Lovestruck

Live Mode

  • [AHQ] Gallery Sims are available again in Cupid’s Corner and the game no longer sometimes infinitely loads when traveling after adding one to your Sim’s contacts.
  • [AHQ] Sims from Cupid’s Corner whose location was listed as “Not Shared” now can be socialized with on a Lovestruck Date or Hangout.
  • Ghost partners can go to Cupid’s Counseling. Their partners could see through their excuses and are ready to remedy their relationship!
  • Ghosts are available for Seductive Dances and “Watch Stars/Sky with…”.
  • Sims no longer stargaze indoors at Rattlesnake Juice Bar in Oasis Springs.
  • These interactions have more versions of Simlish for variety: “Play Woo-Who!? With…” on Who’s Up Party Games, “Steal from Fountain” on the Fountain of Dreams, and “Rub Ring”. Look for Sammy The Ring Bear around that fountain for more information.
  • [AHQ] A Sim who was met on a Blind Date and then canceled on (rude!) now can be asked to Create a Date. Previously, the interface was blank.
  • Sims no longer read “Seduction by the Sea” indefinitely. Must be a real page-turner!
  • Sims now autonomously seek sleep when they are low on energy.
  • Flowers given to a Sim now show up in the recipient’s inventory.
  • When selecting a single flower for “Give Flowers…”, the Sim now bestows a single flower instead of a whole bouquet. Sometimes a single bloom says more than an entire bouquet!
  • When selecting “Cuddle in Bed” multiple times in a row on a bed, Sims no longer lock up with their arm outstretched.
  • When selecting “Cuddle in Bed” multiple times in a row on different beds, the Sim now successfully reaches the first bed.
  • “Ask to Create a Date…“ with a new Sim from the Gallery now results in that Sim showing up properly at the edge of the Date or Hangout location.
  • The Unflirty Trait icon looks clearer.

Create a Sim

  • Lovebug and Romantically Reserved Traits are available as Likes and Dislikes plus Turn-Ons and Turn-Offs in Create a Sim.
  • [AHQ] The short, curly beard (ymFacialHair_EP16BeardCurly) no longer changes the shape of the Sim’s jaw.

Build Mode

  • Spot-tangle Light (lightWall_EP16SULTuplight) no longer steals the spotlight by turning off all other lights within a room when placed.
  • Couples Crest Bench (sitLoveseat2x1_EP16GENartistic) now has collision and cannot be placed where there is no space.

Ciudad Enamorada

  • The camera moves more freely now around Calle del Ensueño in Plaza Mariposa.
  • [AHQ] The door of the Nadir household’s penthouse office has returned, so poor Aziz can get back to his writing.
  • Casita del Amor’s Lot now shows the correct view when saving to the Gallery.
  • A missing curtain in Mirador del Amor has been re-added to the venue.
  • The rooftop of the López household now has all of its walls painted.

Dine Out

  • Waiters bring out food and clean tables more reliably without resetting.

Vampires

  • [AHQ] Teen Vampires now can complete a regular Date. They deserve a chance to find love, too!

With Lovestruck…

  • Vampires without Sun Resistance now can go to Cupid’s Counseling regardless of the time of day. No more using the sun as an excuse to get out of the hard work of a relationship.
  • All Vampires are available for Seductive Dances, not just Vampires with Sun Resistance. Non-sun-resistant Sims deserve Seductive Dances, too!

Realm of Magic

  • [AHQ] Sims are once again able to read Magic Tomes. Time to get back to the spellbooks!

My Wedding Stories

  • [AHQ] Just a Spot of Tea now stays put instead of disappearing when returning to a rental lot from a wedding venue.

Cat Quest 3 Devs Next Game to Be a New Game in a Different Genre Before Continuing Franchise

For those playing Cat Quest 3 that launches today, are you looking forward to the next entry already after finishing this one? If so, you’ll be waiting for quite a while, as developer The Gentlebros will be working on a different project after the third game in the action-RPG franchise.

This was revealed by Desmond Wong, who’s not only the co-founder of The Gentlebros, but also the art direction and game design for Cat Quest 3! Speaking to MP1st, Wong confirmed that they want to make a new game in a different genre before they come back to the Cat Quest franchise.

MP1st: The big obvious is how each game ends with being part of a larger story, with the third game being teased throughout as the “last” part before we get what is called the “Catpocalypse.” Do you think it’s safe to say the next game will finally tell the story of that? Are there any hints of what we can expect from it? I picture Mad Max, but with cats, “wink, wink.”

Wong: Yes, the next mainline Cat Quest game will be about the Apawcalypse. Before that though, we want to make a new game in a different genre before we come back to the Cat Quest series. As for hints to what the next Cat Quest game will be about, why would we want to spoil the surprise! 😉

If you’re not familiar with Cat Quest, the franchise debuted back in 2017 on consoles, PC and even mobile devices. After that, Cat Quest 2 was released in 2019 for the same platforms, and today, Cat Quest 3 was released. If you’re thinking of picking it up, our review of it was very favorable stating, “Cat Quest 3 is a game that won’t break any new ground, shake up the industry, or earn GOTY awards. But it’s such a charming, quirky, enjoyable good time that anyone who knows what to expect will simply love it to bits.”

Borderlands 3 Update 1.32 Delivers Quality-of-Life Improvements This August 8

Following last month’s free cosmetics rollout for Borderlands 3, Gearbox Software has now rolled out a new patch that introduces quality-of-life features on all platforms. Console gamers will see this as Borderlands 3 update 1.32 (BL3 update version 1.923 on PS5), with the complete patch notes available below.

Borderlands 3 Update 1.32 Patch Notes | BL3 Update 1.923 (PS5) Patch Notes:

  • The update contains these quality-of-life features:
  • Players are now able to create a Max Level Character from the main menu once they have beaten the game and have at least one max level character!
  • Added an option to auto-sell gear based on rarity from the main menu:
  • This auto-sell feature automatically sells gear below your set rarity when picked up. Cosmetics will not auto-sell.
  • A note for Mission Gear: Once a mission has ended, any mission reward items offered as a pickup could be automatically sold if auto-sell is enabled. Before completing a mission, the auto-sell option can be set to “None” to avoid possibly losing a mission reward.
  • On Steam Deck: Increased font size of text in the Options Menu.

The patch released last month had the following cosmetics for all gamers to receive:

  • our NEW Player Heads
  • Four NEW Player Skins
  • Four NEW Trinkets
  • Two NEW ECHO Skins
  • One NEW Global Weapon Skin

You can read more about that here.

This is definitely a surprising move by Gearbox, though one that’s not that strange given the movie of the game is set to launch, and chances are, the developers are banking on gamers jumping into the latest game in the franchise due to the hype.

Turkey Bans Roblox to Protect Children

Turkey has banned Roblox over issues related to child safety. The Turkish government took this step after reports of inappropriate content on the platform which is primarily used by children and young adults.

Minister of Justice Yılmaz Tunç announced on Twitter, “It is everyone’s duty to look out for, protect and support the best interests of our children.” He emphasized Turkey’s commitment to using technology positively and not accepting its misuse.

Roblox has faced criticism for not safeguarding its young user base. The Turkish Directorate of Communications said, “Türkiye’s Roblox ban was primarily motivated by reports of inappropriate sexual content on the platform, which was perceived as exploiting children.”

In response, Roblox said, “We are aware that Roblox is currently unavailable in Turkey and have contacted the relevant authorities to find out why and to ensure we are back online as soon as possible.” The company stressed its commitment to user safety and cooperation with local laws.

It remains to be seen what Roblox’s next move will be. We will keep you updated with any further news as it emerges.

You currently cannot earn any achievements if you play on the game’s story mode.

Hunt: Showdow 1896 New Content to Introduce Hellborn, Scorched Earth Event and More Once It Releases on Aug. 15

Crytek’s game engine upgrade to Hunt: Showdown is happening this August 15, which means that those on last-gen (PS4, Xbox One), the game will stop working to make way for its newer, shinier sibling. Called “Hunt: Showdown 1896,” the title update will not only bring graphical improvements, but a slew of new content as well.

Hunt: Showdow 1896 New Content:

Highlights:

  • New event: Scorched Earth
  • New Wild Target: Hellborn
  • New Map: Mammon’s Gulch
  • New Weapons: 1865 Carbine, Infantry 73L base rifle with a sniper variant
  • New Tools: Bear Traps, Crossbow Deadeye scoped variant
  • New Weekly Challenge System – Better supports players joining the action mid-Event
  • Battle Pass: Will feature both free and premium rewards

In the press release, Crytek has announced the latest in-game event titled “Scorched Earth.” Alongside it, there’s also a new Wild Target called teh Hellborn. This new target will be prowling the “tortured peaks” of the brand-new map Mammon’s Gulch.

Hellborn

An amalgam of fire and flesh and a source of immense heat, the Hellborn can be tracked audibly by listening in Dark Sight.

Boiled up from the depths of Mammon’s Gulch, this new Wild Target can be found at multiple locations, stalking the land until provoked into explosive response.

Posing an entirely new threat, the Hellborn moves frantically to slag trespassing Hunters , scorching everything in its considerable reach.

Be warned—the Hellborn is best dispatched quickly, as its raging howls attract the attention of other Hunters across the Gulch, multiplying the threat minute by minute

Event Pacts

Attempting to impose order, The Lawful Pact look to establish Hunter authority in the Gulch under Wyatt Preston’s command.

Making their first appearance, The Wilderness Pact puts no trust in the law. They have stepped out of their wild and remote haunts to defend the integrity of the mountain ranges and punish those who corrupt or exploit them.

Meanwhile, The Demented Pact have resurfaced under the cover of darkness, following signs of this new Corruption with twisted hearts. They seek to nurture and multiply the new wonders the Sculptor has wrought.

Players are able to pledge to their chosen Pacts at the Supply Points, which grants them an exclusive Trait enabling fresh gameplay opportunities. Some existing Traits also gain bonus Conditional Trait Effects for Hunters who pledge to specific Pacts.

The Wilderness Pact Traits
Surefoot (New)—sprint with primed throwables or while using a First Aid Kit
Beastface (Conditional Trait Effect)—avoid triggering animals or breaking branches
Frontiersman (Conditional Trait Effect)—gain an extra Pledge Mark for the first 30 Event Points collected per Mission

The Lawful Pact Traits
Peacekeeper—restore an empty Health Chunk after looting a dead Hunter
Packmule (Conditional Trait Effect)—find extra ammo when looting dead Hunters
Vigilant (Conditional Trait Effect)—double the range of Dark Sight

The Demented Pact Traits
Berserker – boost melee damage
Adrenaline (Conditional Trait Effect) – 25% speed boost for 20 seconds when at critical health
Ghoul (Conditional Trait Effect)—restore health when damaging a Boss Target or Wild Target

Hunters will also be able to earn Event Pledge Marks and acquire additional boons and rewards, with the ability to carry up to 4 Pledge Marks at a time.

Once the patch is live, we’ll be sure to let our readers know. Don’t forget, this will replace the last-gen versions, and once the patch is out, only the current-gen versions (as a free upgrade to existing game owners) will be playable.

Report: Nintendo Switch 1.1 Million Units Away From Surpassing PS2 as Best-Selling Console in US History

The Nintendo Switch is on track to become the best-selling console in US history, with the potential to surpass the PlayStation 2.

According to Mat Piscatella from Circana, the Switch is only 1.1 million units away from surpassing the PlayStation 2 in lifetime sales in the United States. The PS2, which has held the top spot for years, might soon be dethroned by Nintendo Switch.

The Switch’s success story began in 2017, and since then, it has sold over 143 million units globally. Despite a slowdown in sales this year, the console remains a favorite among gamers. The Switch’s diverse game library and unique hybrid design have contributed to its widespread appeal.

Piscatella also noted that the console market is still thriving. He highlighted that “PS5 sales are 7% ahead of the PS4 in the same period” and that Xbox Series X|S sales are keeping pace with the Xbox 360. This indicates a robust demand for gaming consoles despite economic challenges.

Nintendo’s journey is not over yet. They aim to sell 13.5 million Switch consoles by the end of their fiscal year in March 2025. Achieving this target would bring the Switch’s total sales to 154.4 million units, just shy of the PS2’s global record of 155 million units.

Moreover, the Nintendo Switch 2 is expected by next year, potentially boosting sales further.

  • Recruiting
    • Dev Note: Our primary goals for this update were to remove most of the recruiting strategies that were discovered during early access and to smooth out the pain points our players were reporting. Recruiting is a delicate balance as we want to try to make things as realistic as possible, while also allowing players to live out their football fantasies. With that in mind, we decided to introduce additional recruiting logic and balance changes:
      • Fixed an issue where teams were pursuing too many quarterbacks in High School Recruiting.
      • Reduced the number of unrecruited 4 and 5 stars early in the season.
      • Increased the number of players that the AI will pursue at one time.
        • Dev Note: The above changes strive to decrease the number of players that go unrecruited until late in the cycle, while also slightly reducing how aggressive the AI could be with those recruits once they start to recruit them. Our goal is to deliver a fun but balanced recruiting experience that feels rewarding to all players. We will monitor the impacts these changes have on the overall recruiting experience and continue to adjust as needed.

  • Polls
    • Increased the loss penalty for schools with more than 1 loss.
    • Increased the weighing of Conference Prestige in the poll calculation.
    • Reduced variance in CFP poll logic vs Media/Coaches
      • Dev Note: As with the other systems mentioned above, we will continue to monitor the Polls system to ensure that it strikes a balance between realism and reward for player success.
  • Custom Conferences/Custom Schedules

Dev Note: We will continue to monitor feedback about Custom Conferences and Scheduling. Based on this feedback we plan to continue making adjustments in future title updates.

  • Fixed an issue in Conference Rules where Divisions were changed to off, even if those Divisions were previously turned on.

Here’s the announcement from EA:

Title Update server maintenance will begin tomorrow, Thursday August 8th at 6 AM ET.

During this time, all online modes and Team Builder will be unavailable.

Please be sure to complete all online games before maintenance begins!

While no duration was mentioned, this is expected to last for at least 2-4 hours per the regular server outages. The update’s official patch notes haven’t been released yet, but we’ve included the known issues the devs are looking into:

ROSTERS & LIKENESSES:

Per the dev team: There are some slight inaccuracies with rosters and likenesses that our team is looking to update as soon as possible as we work through summer roster movement that is natural to college football. For our very passionate Dynasty fans, you can hop in and play this week or wait for a roster update around college football kickoff for the most up to date experience.

Also, one more question we want to answer: Yes, ratings updates for rosters WILL happen as we move through the college football season, so stay tuned!

AUDIO

  • Incorrect commentary when playing as the first game of the season in Dynasty at Utah
  • Florida State’s War Chant and Tennessee’s “Rocky Top” are not audible when playing only on Xbox Series S

LOGOS

  • The following teams/conferences have incorrect logos: Stanford, UMass, Western Michigan, Jacksonville State, FIU, New Mexico, SEC, Conference USA, and the Sun Belt
  • UTEP and Wyoming display incorrect athletic branding on their equipment in Dynasty
  • Visual issue with conference patches when changing a small subset of teams Conference in Dynasty

DYNASTY

Before we talk about some things we are tracking in Dynasty, we wanted to provide some things to consider and clarity on the design intentions. There are many factors at play in Dynasty that can create ripple effects: Injuries, players going pro early, transfers, strong or weak recruiting classes, upsets, and more! The beauty of the mode is that two different users can begin playing Dynasty as the same school, but over multiple years, their College Football 25 worlds can develop notable differences. Dynasty is intentionally designed in a way where the backend systems will create organic and dynamic situations that lead to branching stories. We didn’t want to have a rigid system that leads to all users experiencing the same situations and stories 5, 10, or 15 years in – the world of college football is dynamic and so is Dynasty in College Football 25.

As for player feedback, we do see the feedback about the Super Sim Logic. We have been looking into tuning Super Sim Logic, including FCS schools potentially creating more upsets than intended. As for wider Super Sim Logic tuning, we will continue to monitor player feedback and the telemetry data from all users’ Dynasties as we gather more data. Our team has been thrilled to see so many fans share the stories they’re experiencing, so keep it coming!

  • Super Sim Logic Tuning: The team is looking into tuning of the Super Sim Logic, including FCS schools upsetting too many Power 5 schools
    • Note: As we continue internal testing on the tuning of Super Sim Logic, Top 25 Polls & the College Football Playoff seedings will also see an improvement.
  • Issue when adding additional teams to the PAC-12 conference when using custom conferences does not generate a new conference schedule as intended.
    • Workaround: After adding teams to the PAC-12, open the Conference Rules and set Divisions to ON. Users will see they can now set the number of conference games by toggling back and forth. Users can then disable divisions and edit other settings as desired.
  • Issue with modified conference rules not saving
    • Workaround: Users can re-enter the Conference Rules screen to ensure their settings were saved and are valid. If they did not save, then the rules are not valid with their current setup.
  • Occasionally, when a recruit reaches their Top 5 stage, it will not display the recruit is “Ready for a Visit” despite meeting the requirements.
  • Recruiting Tuning: The team has planned additional tuning to recruiting logic.
  • Small chance of a freeze when simulating individual plays quickly after exiting “Super Sim”
    • Workaround: Wait a couple seconds in between simulating the individual plays before exiting Super Sim.
  • Issue with the Practice Tile not initially appearing in the “Team” tab
    • Workaround: Exit the mode and then re-enter.
  • Current maximum cap of 20 created coaches instead of the intended 32 created coaches
    • Note: The team is targeting Tuesday for an issue fix that limits Dynasty’s to 20 created coaches. A current work around is using existing coaches in the remaining spots to reach 32.
  • Player jersey numbers and/or OVRs changing when editing certain players gear.

Online Dynasty: A high priority for the team right now is the issue of some players being unable to load into a previously established online dynasty.

TEAM BUILDER

  • When using a Team Builder team in Play Now, cleats are defaulted to Adidas regardless of selected brand apparel.
    • Note: This does not impact Team Builder teams used in Dynasty
  • Second custom image layer not appearing on the field
    • Workaround: Add a second layer, then select a generic image, and then re-select your custom image.

The last patch released was for a small list of fixes, though the devs did confirm a more substantial patch (which is this one) will be accompanied by Campus Huddle Notes.

Once the official patch notes are out, we’ll update the article.

Actions Taken Against In-Game RMT & Other Illicit Activities (Aug. 8)

Real money trading (RMT) and other illicit activities upset the balance of the game and, as such, are prohibited under the Terms of Service.

Because we have confirmed the existence of players who are engaging in these illicit activities, we have taken the actions listed below.

Time Period: Aug. 1, 2024 to Aug. 7, 2024

・Accounts temporarily suspended: 17
*Botting activity by RMT vendors has been included under “Participation in RMT/prohibited activities.”

・RMT advertising

Players who discover any confirmed cheats should, under no circumstances, exploit or disseminate such information. Instead, we ask that players file a report by using the in-game command [System Menu] -> [Support Desk] -> [Contact Us] -> [Report Cheating].

In addition, any witnessed RMT advertisement can be reported by right clicking the character name in the chat log and selecting the menu [Report] -> [Report RMT Activity].
The report will be processed automatically, and if determined to fall under RMT advertising, the reported character’s comments will be restricted.

We will continue to take stringent disciplinary action against any accounts with confirmed involvement in RMT/illicit activity; players should take care to steer clear of any activity that violates the Terms of Service.

We will update this post as soon as we can if proper patch notes are revealed for today’s update.
