GTA 5 Update 1.51 Drives Out This July 17

Rockstar Games has released (Grand Theft Auto) GTA 5 update 1.51 on all platforms, and this is an unannounced title update. Given we just got the Bottom Dollar Bounties update in the last week of June, don’t expect much from this outside of fixes. Read on for what’s new in the GTA 5 patch notes for July 17.

GTA 5 Update 1.51 Patch Notes:

Update: Complete patch notes have been released by Rockstar.

Game Stability and Performance

  • General fixes for stability and security

Matchmaking and Networking

  • Fixed a networking issue that resulted in vehicles becoming inaccessible or invisible

Miscellaneous

  • Fixed an issue where clicking “I have read and accept” text resulted in the “I accept” box being automatically selected and the form submitted
  • Fixed an issue that resulted in players being unable to open the Privacy Policy when using a mouse

As expected, Rockstar Games has not released the official patch notes yet, and we’re expecting the studio to release them later on in the day a=per their usual method. Given the past version, expect this patch to be labeled GTA 5 version 1.70 on PC.

Update: Added more items from the community

Patch seems to fix character hair glitch when joining a new session (via JN_Polo)

Some of the bugs still persistent even after the patch:

  • Fixed a work around for the fix to the workaround so players can’t use the telescope glitch to create fun outfits.
  • Fixed the tattoo bug but created a new bug with tattoo displays.
  • Decided to ignore the Career Progress bugs in the game since release.
  • God mode still available.
  • Joining the casino heist through quick jobs – still doesn’t work. — via TheSpaceThatYouLeft

Some of the things affecting gamers since the Bottom Dollar Bounties patch include:

  • Crashing (mostly on PC)

We are checking the game’s community to know what confirmed fixes made its way into today’s patch, and once we know more, we’ll update the article with the info, so refresh it from time to time.

Remember, folks, if it the patch notes/changelog isn’t from Rockstar and there is no reliable source, those are not the actual patch notes.

PS4 Update 11.52 Released This July 17

Sony has stealth released PS4 update 11.52, and this is another minor update for the aging console. Given the state of the hardware’s lifecycle, don’t expect any new features. You can check out what got adjusted in the patch notes provided by Sony below.

PS4 Update 11.52 Patch Notes:

Download Size: 502MB

  • We’ve improved the messages and usability on some screens.
  • We’ve made some security fixes to the system software.

That’s about it. For those keeping tabs on the console’s last few updates, the last patch for the PS4 released in March had the same changelog as well.

Again, with the PS5 in full swing, the PS4’s system updates should be few and far between, which is to be expected on a console on its last legs. That said, it’s still getting games, so it’s not surprising that Sony is still pushing out updates for it. As for the PS5, it also got a new firmware update a few months ago that added new features, which you can read about here.

Black Ops 6 Scorestreaks Won’t Loop and Will Revert to Traditional Style; Dedicated Melee Weapon Slot Confirmed

For those that didn’t like Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War’s scorestreak system where it didn’t reset upon death, you’ll be glad to know that won’t be the case for Black Ops 6! Treyarch has confirmed that the Black Ops 6 scorestreaks will revert it to the traditional way of as seen in past Treyarch games.

This was confirmed by Treyarch Associate Director Matt Scronce in the debut episode of the official Call of Duty podcast titled COD POD. In it, Scronce explained the why they’re going back to the traditional scorestreak system for the upcoming game:

We like scorestreaks because it rewards all players fairly regardless if you’re slaying or you’re capturing objectives, or you’re taking out enemy scorestreaks…that’s why we like scorestreaks. In Cold War we we tried a bit of a different approach where we didn’t reset score on death, which was a a big change and the goal there was to just get more people engaging with the system. As we kind of went back and thought about really what we wanted to do with Black Ops 6 and accounting for player feedback,  we’re going back to just a traditional score streak system score will reset on death.

In addition to that, Scronce also confirmed that scorestreaks in Black Ops 6 will not loop, which means that once you’ve earned and triggered them all, you’ll need to bite the bullet in-game in order to earn any again. The main thing for them for not doing this is to avoid scorestreak spam. That said, Scronce isn’t shutting the book on making scorestreaks loop, as he says that they will take feedback in the beta and go from there,

Right now, scorestreaks do not loop. That was something we’ve talked about quite a bit and really the goal there is we want to reward players in a single life fairly with high-end rewards — or low-end depending on your selection — but we really want to avoid scorestreak spam. that’s something I personally just really don’t like; I know a lot of players don’t like it. I know if you’re a really good player you just want to keep calling them in, and so I get it, but we’re erring on the side of less scorestreak spam for now. But like we said a couple times we have beta and we’ll take all the feedback and go from (there).

In the same chat, Scronce also confirmed that for Black Ops 6, players will have a dedicated melee weapon slot/category! Now players won’t have to sacrifice their secondary weapon slot in order to equip a knife or something.

That’s really how it started…If we think about Black Ops agents, like if you just think about who they are they’re always going to have a melee weapon on them. It may not be a knife; sometimes it’s a baseball bat. I don’t know that’s where it came from of, you know, let’s try this, we’re excited about it and  just like the idea of not having to give up a secondary to take a melee weapon so every player will have access to a dedicated melee weapon, and you’ll have a few to choose from at launch and then we’ll have some fun stuff in store throughout the live Seasons. But I mean that’s also another one, we didn’t just throw in everybody gets a melee weapon; we’ve taken a look at tuning, we’ve got some kind of unique approaches to tuning because we also don’t want everybody running around with melee weapons and being annoying little nuisances. So, you know, we we’ll have more details to share you’ll you’ll experience in the beta.

Well, there you have it. Scorestreaks will be back to the traditional way, and can’t be looped, and players will now have a dedicated melee slot in their character’s loadout. So far, these are good changes, right?

In case you didn’t know, Treyarch also revealed the Black Ops 6 beta schedule which is available here. If the COD POD airs every week, then players can expect a lot more Call of Duty news and info to be made available on a more regular basis.

Black Ops 6 is scheduled to be released this Oct. 25 on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC.

CHAMPIONS

Aphelios

Binding Eclipse, Sentry, and Onslaught damage increased.

Aphelios is definitely weaker than he should be at the moment, so we’re bumping up the punch of his weaker guns whose actives don’t feel as impactful unless they’re part of specific combos.

Q – Binding Eclipse (Purple Gun)

  • Damage: 50-110 (based on level) (+26-35% (based on level) bonus AD) ⇒ 50-140 (based on level) (+32-50% (based on level) bonus AD)

Q – Sentry (White Gun)

  • Damage: 31-100 (based on level) (+40-60% (based on level) bonus AD) ⇒ 35-125 (based on level) (+42-60% (based on level) bonus AD)

Q – Onslaught (Red Gun)

  • Damage: 10-40 (based on level) (+20-35% (based on level) bonus AD) ⇒ 10-40 (based on level) (+22-40% (based on level) bonus AD)

Aurelion Sol

Base AD increased. Q initial mana cost increased, sustained mana cost adjusted. W base range increased. E mana cost decreased, slowing logic adjusted. R damage increased.

In his current state, a lot of Aurelion Sol’s power is tied up in his ability to bully lane opponents by tapping his Q, especially in higher skill brackets. Not only is this unintuitive, but it also doesn’t feel like a breath of light as much as it does a burp. We’ll be addressing this by shifting some of this power from his Q into more interesting and engaging parts of his kit like his Astral Flight and Singularity.

Base Stats

  • Base AD: 55 ⇒ 58

Q – Breath of Light

  • Initial Mana Cost: 7.5/8.75/10/11.25/12.5 ⇒ 30/35/40/45/50 (Note: After paying the initial cost, additional sustained mana cost is triggered.)
  • Sustained Mana Cost: Every 0.5 seconds, starting 0.5 seconds into the channel ⇒ Every 0.25 seconds, starting 1.25 seconds into the channel
  • Mana Cost during W: This mana cost adjustment is unchanged while using Breath of Light during W.

W – Astral Flight

  • Range: 1200 (+7.5 per Stardust) ⇒ 1500/1600/1700/1800/1900 (+7.5 per Stardust)

E – Singularity

  • Mana Cost: 80/85/90/95/100 ⇒ 80 at all ranks
  • Movement Speed Debuff: Non-champions are slowed to 0 movement speed ⇒ Lane Minions and Jungle Monsters are slowed to 0 movement speed

R – Falling Star/The Skies Descend

  • Falling Star Damage: 150/250/350 (+65% AP) ⇒ 150/250/350 (+75% AP)
  • The Skies Descend: Deals 125% of Falling Star’s damage
  • The Skies Descend Shockwave Damage: 100% of Falling Star’s damage ⇒ 90% of Falling Star’s damage

Bel’Veth

Base attack range decreased. True form attack range adjusted to remain neutral.

Bel’Veth has been too strong in Elite-level solo queue for a while and we’d like if her power were more consistent across the various player skill brackets. So we’re going back on some of her changes from 12.12, right after she came out, which meaningfully Elite-skewed her. By lowering her basic attack range, our goal is to weaken her ability to hit other melee champions before they can strike back.

Base Stats

  • Attack Range: 175 ⇒ 150

R – Endless Banquet

  • Bonus Attack Range: 50 ⇒ 75

Brand

E cooldown increased, damage decreased.

Despite recent nerfs, Brand’s fire is still blazing hot; so we’re back with another round of nerfs to dampen his flames. Conflagration is one of his most frustrating abilities, so we’re going after it by lowering both its damage and reducing how frequently it’s available to use.

E – Conflagration

  • Cooldown: 12/11/10/9/8 ⇒ 13/12/11/10/9 seconds
  • Magic Damage: 60/85/110/135/160 (+60% AP) ⇒ 55/80/105/130/155 (+60% AP)

Cho’Gath

Q base damage increased. E base damage increased.

Cho’Gath is currently underperforming and a bit weaker than we’d like him to be, so we’re increasing the base damage on both his Rupture and Vorpal Spikes so that when you’re able to land them they hit a bit harder and feel more rewarding.

Q – Rupture

  • Magic Damage: 80/140/200/260/320 (+100% AP) ⇒ 80/145/210/275/340 (+100% AP)

E – Vorpal Spikes

  • Magic Damage: 22/37/52/67/82 (+30% AP) (+3% (+0.5% per Feast stack) of target’s maximum health) ⇒ 20/40/60/80/100 (+30% AP) (+3% (+0.5% per Feast stack) of target’s maximum health)

Corki

Recommended skill ordering updated. Base health decreased.

Corki has a much lower win rate than his power level would suggest, as many mid laners have not moved over to Q-max, which outperforms E-max in that role. Pros, who are building him correctly, have identified him as a clearly strong champion and, as a result, he’s choking out the competition. In an effort to increase his counterplay in lane, we’re making him a little less resilient in early fights.

Recommendations

  • Recommended Skill Order: Corki’s recommended skill order for mid lane has been updated to now suggest maxing Q first.

Base Stats

  • Base Health: 640 ⇒ 610

Fiddlesticks

Q is now blocked by abilities that block projectiles

We noticed that Fiddle’s fear wasn’t matching expectations: He fires a crow at his target, which is a projectile, so it should be blocked by things like Wind Wall. Now it does.

Q – Terrify

  • Terrify is now blocked by Yasuo’s Wind Wall, Braum’s Unbreakable, and Samira’s Blade Whirl.

Hecarim

Health growth increased. W duration decreased, healing increased, cooldown decreased. E cooldown adjusted.

In this patch we’ll be reverting several changes that had contributed to Hecarim’s Elite skew: 13.21’s W duration increase and 13.17’s W healing nerf. One common issue in lower skill brackets is maxing E 2nd, despite W being much better, so we’ll also be making E vs W rank-ups closer in power.

Base Stats

  • Health Growth: 99 ⇒ 106

W – Spirit of Dread

  • Duration: 5 ⇒ 4 seconds
  • Healing: 20%, halved to 10% for damage dealt by allies ⇒ 25%, halved to 12.5% for damage dealt by allies
  • Cooldown: 16/15.5/15/14.5/14 ⇒ 14 seconds at all ranks

E – Devastating Charge

  • Cooldown: 18 seconds at all ranks ⇒ 20/19/18/17/16 seconds

Irelia

AD growth decreased. Passive attack speed increased. R cooldown reduction for Q decreased.

This list of changes is an adjustment to Irelia that will shift some of her power from late game into the early and mid game. We’ll be buffing her early-to-mid game by making her passive scale linearly from levels 1-18, and balancing out this buff by reducing how forgiving Bladesurge is in the late game.

Base Stats

  • AD Growth: 4 ⇒ 3.5

Passive – Ionian Fervor

  • Attack Speed: 7.5/13.75/20% (levels 1/7/13) ⇒ 7.5-25% (levels 1-18)

R – Vanguard’s Edge

  • Bladesurge Cooldown Reduction: 0.5/1.5/2.5 ⇒ 0.5/1/1.5 seconds

Jax

E cooldown increased early.

We’re giving Jax a slight nerf to his E this patch to help reduce how powerful (and frustrating) of a dueling and early wave control tool it can be.

E – Counter Strike

  • Cooldown: 15/13.5/12/10.5/9 ⇒ 17/15/13/11/9 seconds

Jayce

Cannon form Q damage increased.

Jayce is struggling at the moment, and while his less common melee form has gotten a lot of the more recent love, it’s now time to up the damage of his primary skill, his ranged Q.

Q – Shock Blast

  • Physical Damage: 55/110/165/220/275/330 (+120% bonus AD) ⇒ 60/115/170/225/280/335 (+125% bonus AD)

Kindred

Base HP decreased. Q attack speed bonus decreased.

Kindred are performing quite well in higher skill brackets and are in need of a nerf; we’re targeting their early combat power to ensure that as jungle carries Kindred don’t have quite as much ability to win early skirmishes and invades.

Base Stats

  • Base Health: 610 ⇒ 595

Q – Dance of Arrows

  • Bonus Attack Speed: 35% ⇒ 30%

Lillia

Passive healing against successive champions reduced. E damage decreased.

Lillia is overperforming with her new favorite item, Runic Ashes and its resulting upgrades. Since we like what those items are doing for the game overall, we’re taking out some power from Lillia directly. We’re targeting her best-case scenarios where she’s kiting and healing from an entire team at once, while trying to preserve her early clears and 1v1 dueling.

Passive – Dream-Laden Bough

  • Healing Effectiveness vs Champions: 100% for the first, reduced to 33% for successive champions ⇒ 100% for the first, reduced to 15% for successive champions

E – Swirlseed

  • Damage: 70/95/120/145/170 (+60% AP) ⇒ 60/85/110/135/160 (+50% AP)

Milio

Passive damage decreased. Q cooldown decreased, range increased, now refund half of mana cost when hitting an enemy. W recast range increased, now slower when following distant targets. E shield strength adjusted.

In his current state, Milio has a disproportionate amount of his power tied up in his very early lane harass, specifically when he shields himself and runs up to auto attack. With these changes we’ll be reducing how powerful that strategy is and instead encourage him to look for opportunities to harass opponents with his Q (rather than only casting it as a peeling tool when he’s being engaged on).

Passive – Fired Up!

  • Damage: 15% of ally’s AD, followed by 15-50 (based on level) (+20% of Milio’s AP) burn damage over 1.5 seconds ⇒ 7/11/15% (levels 1/6/9) of ally’s AD, followed by 10-50 (based on level) (+20% of Milio’s AP) burn damage over 1.5 seconds

Q – Ultra Mega Fire Kick

  • Cooldown: 12 ⇒ 10 seconds
  • Range: 1000 ⇒ 1200
  • NEW: Hitting at least one enemy champion with Ultra Mega Fire Kick refunds 50% of its mana cost.

W – Cozy Campfire

  • Recast Range: 700 ⇒ 3000 units
  • NEW: Cozy Campfire is slower when following targets that are more than 2500 units from Milio.

E – Warm Hugs

  • Shield Strength: 60/90/120/150/180 (30% AP) ⇒ 45/75/105/135/165 (+45% AP)

Nidalee

W damage decreased. E damage decreased. AD ratios increased

Nidalee is one of the hardest champions to play, which means her win rate below Master tier is always deflated. That said, she’s too strong right now, so we’re taking down some of her cougar form damage. We’re also interested to see how AD Nidalee might fare, so we’re substantially increasing some of her AD ratios for courageous players who want to try out that alternate build.

W – Pounce

  • Magic Damage: 60/110/160/210 (+30% AP) ⇒ 55/100/145/190 (+50% Bonus AD) (+30% AP)

E – Swipe

  • Magic Damage: 80/140/200/260 (+40% Bonus AD) (+45% AP) ⇒ 70/130/190/250 (+70% Bonus AD) (+40% AP)

Rumble

Q base damage decreased, minion damage modifier adjusted, minion last hitting logic improved.

Rumble has been a top performer in Pro play for this entire split, so it’s time to nudge him down where he has the least counterplay: a skill that goes through minions, can’t miss, and has no permanent resource cost. We’re hoping that his opponents feel like the early laning phase is a lot more interactive instead of belonging to Rumble by default.

Q – Flamespitter

  • Total Magic Damage: 125/140/155/170/185 (+110% AP) (+ 6/7/8/9/10% of target’s maximum health) ⇒ 80/105/130/155/180 (+110% AP) (+ 6/7/8/9/10% of target’s maximum health)
  • Minion Damage Modifier: 55/60/65/70/75% ⇒ 70% at all ranks
  • REMOVED: Flame Spitter no longer prevents minions from dying to other minions if they would die to one more tick of Flame Spitter.
  • NEW: Flame Spitter now deals 1 bonus tick of damage (ability duration permitting) if it would kill a lane minion.

Sion

W damage increased.

Sion’s just a touch weak at the moment, so we’d like to bring him up to the level of some of the stronger top lane tanks. We’re doing this by raising some of his early damage threat when facing other top laners.

W – Soul Furnace

  • Magic Damage: 40/65/90/115/140 (+10/11/12/13/14% target’s max HP) ⇒ 40/65/90/115/140 (+14% target’s max HP)

Smolder

Q base damage increased.

We’re looking to flatten Smolder’s power over game time a bit, and his early game is not quite as fiery as we intended for it to be. This patch we’re giving Smolder some additional laning firepower so he can be a bit scrappier of dragon.

Q – Super Scorcher Breath

  • Damage: 15/25/35/45/55 (+100% AD) (+15% AP) ⇒ 20/30/40/50/60 (+100% AD) (+15% AP)

Tristana

Base mana increased. Q mana cost added, attack speed decreased. W mana cost decreased.

Tristana has completely overtaken the Pro scene in mid lane and is too strong in solo queue as well. We’re looking to mid lane-skew her nerfs this patch by increasing the mana costs for the abilities she spams to push in mid lane. The base mana increase gives her the first Rapid Fire for free, and Rocket Jump is being made cheaper to ensure she can still live her resetting dream.

Base Stats

  • Base Mana: 250 ⇒ 300

Q – Rapid Fire

  • Mana Cost: 0 ⇒ 50
  • Attack Speed: 65/80/95/110/125% ⇒ 50/65/80/95/110%

W – Rocket Jump

  • Mana Cost: 60 ⇒ 50

Zed

Q damage increased. E cooldown reduction per enemy hit increased.

Zed’s been stuck in the shadows recently (and not in the good way), so we’re looking to give him a bit more of an edge in the early game by sharpening his shuriken and giving him a bit more combo power with his E.

Q – Razor Shuriken

  • Damage: 70/105/140/175/210 (+110% bonus AD) ⇒ 80/115/150/185/220 (+110% bonus AD)

E – Shadow Slash

  • Cooldown Reduction per Enemy Champion Hit: 2 ⇒ 3 seconds

Zyra

Passive plant damage adjusted, bonus damage to monsters decreased early.

Zyra is currently outperforming her competition in both jungle and support, so we’re weed whacking her plant damage with some nerfs. We’re compensating a bit of AP ratio in order to move her toward AP-centric items like Deathcap and to bridge the rather large gap between Liandry’s and Blackfire.

Passive – Garden of Thorns

  • Plant Damage: 16-84 (based on level) (+18% AP) ⇒ 15-75 (based on level) (+20% AP)
  • Bonus Damage to Monsters: 60-100 (based on level) ⇒ 50-100 (based on level)
  • Updated the tooltip and cooldown display to more accurately align with seed spawn times

ITEMS

Warmog’s Armor

Support champions are purchasing Warmog’s first and hitting the bonus health threshold through a combination of the support quest item (200 hp), the scaling health stat shard, and sometimes Overgrowth. The 1000 warmogs hp + 200 support quest hp + runes is meeting the 1300 bonus health requirement a little too easily and we’d rather supports weren’t rushing this item and unlocking its passive in this way.

  • Warmog’s Heart Health Requirement: 1300 ⇒ 1500 bonus health

RUNES

Absorb Life

We intended for Absorb Life to primarily be about recouping health later in the game, but right now it stalls out the laning phase with a bit too much regeneration. So, we’re nerfing the early sustain by as much as 50%, with some compensation by pushing some power into the late game.

  • Healing: 2-20 (linear scaling) ⇒ 1-23 (following base stat progression) ( Note: This is a nerf levels 1-12 and a buff levels 13-18.)

ARENA

Champions

Champion Buffs

Hecarim

  • W Total AP Ratio: 80% ⇒ 120%
  • R AP Ratio: 100% ⇒ 130%

Irelia

  • E AP Ratio: 80% ⇒ 100%
  • R AP Ratio: 70% ⇒ 100%

Ivern

  • Q Cooldown: 16/15/14/13/12 ⇒ 14/13/12/11/10 seconds
  • E Magic Damage: 60/75/90/105/120 (+ 70% AP) ⇒ 70/90/110/130/150 (+ 80% AP)

Kennen

  • W AD Ratio: 80/90/100/110/120% bonus AD ⇒ 110/120/130/140/150% bonus AD

Kog’Maw

  • E AP Ratio: 90% ⇒ 100%
  • R Minimum Damage AP Ratio: 45% ⇒ 55%

Neeko

  • W Magic Damage: 40/75/110/145/180 (+ 60% AP) ⇒ 70/105/140/175/210 (+ 70% AP)

Nidalee

  • E Cougar Form AD Ratio: 80% bonus AD ⇒ 100% bonus AD

Orianna

  • Health Growth: 110 ⇒ 125
  • Passive AP Ratio: 15% ⇒ 25%
  • R Cooldown: 110/95/80 ⇒ 60/50/40 seconds

Additionally, we have corrected a tooltip issue for all starter items that mistakenly labeled them as legendary. Starter items are no longer classified as legendary, so feel free to purchase them when you have Ornn as a teammate.

One more note, we’re also working on the rerolls bug. Thank you for your continued support and see you on the Bridge!

Call of Duty: Warzone Season 5 Teaser Features the Atlas Superstore This July 24

For Call of Duty: Warzone players, the Atlas Superstore is being opened as a new point of interest (POI) in Urzikstan this Season 5! This was revealed in a new trailer for Warzone where it’s also revealed that Season 5 starts this July 24.

Check out the super short trailer:

The Atlas Superstore first appeared in Modern Warfare 2019 as one of the multiplayer maps in the Season 2 title update. For better or for worse, the map featured lots of elevation and corners where players can tactically position themselves for an advantage.

This seems to be but the start of the Season 5 info blowout, so expect more details about it to be revealed in the coming days leading up to the new season’s launch.

In other Call of Duty news, Black Ops 6’s beta dates and schedules have been revealed, and we can confirm that we’ll be doing a massive giveaway for it before it starts.

Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 “Old Build” Leaks Online, Saber Issues Statement

In case you didn’t know, Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 has leaked online! Loads of gameplay footage have surfaced (though are quickly being taken down) of what appears to be a developer build of the title. The developers are aware of this and have issued a statement about it.

We won’t embed the videos that has surfaced, but you can check the Reddit thread about it form more content on what happened.

a Space Marine 2 build leaked and is playable
byu/danoka29 inGamingLeaksAndRumours

The folks at Saber Interactive and publisher Focus Entertainment have issued a statement now stating that this is an old build, and that they are encouraging fans to avoid watching it for spoilers.

Dear players,

We are deeply touched by the overwhelming support we’ve received from our community following
the leak of an old build of our upcoming game, Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2.

Our teams have poured years of hard work, passion, and dedication into creating a game worthy of your hopes and expectations, and it’s disheartening that many of the surprises we worked to keep secret were spoiled. We’re saddened that this build, which will be almost a year old by the time we launch, is how some of our most eager fans will first experience Space Marine 2. Our unwavering commitment has been to deliver the best possible game for our players. This was the driving force behind our decision to spend more time on development and ensure we deliver the best experience we can.

We’re asking everyone to avoid this unfinished build and to not spoil the game for those excited to experience it for the first time at launch. Space Marine 2 will release on September 9, and the best way to support our teams’ hard work is to play the game as they’ve always intended.

See you all in a few weeks.
For the Emperor!

As someone who’s looking forward to this game, I’ll refrain from checking out any gameplay or footage out there. I mean, the campaign is the bread and butter of the game, and I’d rather play it than watch it. Check out the latest official gameplay for it to see how awesome it’s shaping up.

Space Marine 2 shoots out this September 9 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.

Ghost of Tsushima Update 2.24 Enables Matchmaking Between Consoles and PC This July 16

Following yesterday’s hotfix 6 release for Ghost of Tsushima on PC, Sucker Punch Productions has released a patch for console versions today! Players will be able to download Ghost of Tsushima update 2.24 (PS5 version 2.024), and this is for the Legends multiplayer mode! After the patch is installed, players can now enable matchmaking between consoles and PC.

Ghost of Tsushima Update 2.24 Patch Notes | Ghost of Tsushima Update 2.024 Patch Notes:

Here’s what’s new per Sucker Punch Productions:

  • Patch 2.24 contains updates to Legends crossplay. Soon after release, matchmaking between PC and consoles will be enabled!

That’s the only new thing added via the title update. If there are any balance changes made, we’ll update the article to reflect it, though we doubt that the studio would stealth release something like that.

While Ghost of Tsushima just got release don PC, we aren’t expecting any new content for it since we’re assuming Sucker Punch is hard at work on a still-unannounced sequel.

Once a new patch is out, we’ll be sure to let our readers know.

The Outlast Trials Update 1.09 Runs Out for Project Lupara and Season This July 16

As expected given the previous announcement, Red Barrels has pushed out The Outlast Trials update 1.09 (PS5 version 1.000.008), and this is for Project Lupara and Season 1! Players can expect a new villain, a new map, new quality of life features a lot more! This is the game’s biggest patch to date, and there’s a lot to take in with the provided patch notes.

The Outlast Trials Update 1.09 Patch Notes | The Outlast Trials Update 1.000.008 Patch Notes (PS5) | The Outlast Trials Season 1 Project Lupara Patch Notes:

This update includes:

  • New Prime Asset: Franco “Il Bambino” Barbi
  • New Trial: Poison the Medicine in The Docks
  • New MK-Challenges: Fuel the Release & Teach the Police Officer
  • New Time Limited Special Event: Bambino
  • New Game Mode: Escalation Therapy
  • New Mansion Escape Trial and Conclusion
  • New Upcoming Weekly Programs
  • New Rig: Barricade
  • Revamp of the Programs menu
  • Introduction of Difficulty Selections
  • Introduction of Tasks
  • Introduction of Catalogs
  • Introduction of Quick Play
  • Introduction of the Exotica Pack (paid DLC)
  • New Sleep Room Minigame: Stroop Test
  • Many other additions/fixes/changes.

New Prime Asset: Franco ‘Il Bambino’ Barbi

  • Project Lupara introduces Franco ‘Il Bambino’ Barbi, a formidable new Prime Asset; the first of his kind, hunting players with his beloved Lupara, a sawed-off shotgun that allows him range beyond any Outlast Trials villain thus far.
  • Reagents will come face-to-face with Franco in the new story Trial, “Poison the Medicine”, which transports players to The Docks, a brand-new map, and Franco’s home turf. Keep an eye out for his traps too…
  • The perverse son of New Orleans mafia don Salvatore Barbi, Franco is driven by craven entitlement, greed, and psychosexual violence fueled by his impotence and insecurities, a freakish ‘big baby’ obsessed with his ‘Pacifier’; the titular boom stick he sucks on when he’s not using it to blow someone to smithereens.

Special Event: Bambino

  • For those who won’t get enough of Franco, fear not! The Bambino special event will run for the first 4 weeks following the update where Franco will appear in all other Trials and MK-Challenges.
    • Franco joins Gooseberry or Coyle in their respective Trials. Compound charismatic trauma accentuated and contradicted by the indiscriminate destruction of gun violence.
  • The event will be split into 2 parts (2 weeks each), with a selection of Trials for each part.

New Trials and MK-Challenges

  • Poison the Medicine

    – In a godless world, opiates will be the religion of the masses. Take control of drug production, and you can kill with the nonchalance of a god.

  • Fuel the Release

    – Justice, like civilization, requires power, and power requires fuel. Carry the fuel, power the court, and secure your liberty.

  • Teach the Police Officer

    – Defining laws creates crime; replace the precinct’s training film with Murkoff’s reels and make future crimes our own.

  • Mansion Escape

    – A new final trial and conclusion.

Mansion Escape

Revisit the final Trial and experience an entirely new challenge.

  • Mansion Escape will now evolve as you release Reagents, increasing in difficulty with every Reagent Release.
  • Witness a new release conclusion when you succeed in escaping and become Reborn.

Escalation Therapy

ESCALATION THERAPY, a new game mode being introduced alongside this update.

  • Reagents partake in a roguelite experience pitting them against a never-ending series of randomized Trials with variators that will have them clawing their eyes out until they succumb to a Permadeath that will begin the cycle anew.
  • Reagents will begin with nothing and build their loadouts from Murkoff’s limited selection of upgrades.
  • The longer you can survive, the bigger the reward.

Upcoming Weekly Programs

Upcoming weekly programs in this season:

  • HEMORRHAGE

    – Damage causes bleeding, and unless you find and use bandages, you’ll bleed out, and die. We won’t always be there to take care of you.

  • CAPGRASS DELUSION

    – More devious imposters, no player names displayed, and radio communication is limited. Cooperation is crucial, trust no one.

  • THE HUMBLING

    – Start the Trial with lowered health and limited inventory.  We strip you down to your truest self, so you can identify and destroy who you really are.

  • CROSSED SIGNALS

    – Radio range is limited. In the ensuing silence, Reagents are increasingly vulnerable to hallucination. Learn to mistrust silence, let us be the voices in your head.

  • And more! Stay tuned!

New Rig: Barricade

Reagents can gain access to a new Rig to use in the Trials: The Barricade.

  • This tool can be used to block paths, giving Reagents the time needed to complete their objectives while pursuers are forced to bash their way through or take the long way around.
  • Like the other Rigs, The Barricade comes with its own set of upgrades that can be unlocked to bolster Reagents even more in their moment of need.

Programs

The Program menus have been revamped with a new visual and difficulty selection support.
