For those annoyed this isn’t available on the last-gen version (PS4) of the game, it probably has more to do with the system’s technical capabilities rather than Rockstar just doing it for the sake of it. I mean,
So far, that’s about it for what’s new. We are on the lookout for anything that got fixed, and will update the article if we spot anything substantial.

Reviews for Assassin’s Creed Mirage have started rolling out just ahead of its release tomorrow. If you want to see what the major sites think of the game, you have come to the right place. We have compiled scores from some of the most reliable critics.
Concerns about the conclusion aside, I still had a wonderful time in Baghdad’s ancient alleys and palaces. Not everything is perfect, but the “less is more” design philosophy goes a long way to making this one of the most consistently engaging titles within the series for some time.
Despite its faults and playing it very safe, Assassin’s Creed Mirage is a step in the right direction for Ubisoft, an exercise in concision and a solid attempt to rekindle what made early AC games memorable.
Assassin’s Creed Mirage is a short, sharp trip through the blood soaked streets of Baghdad. A welcome return to the series’ roots, Mirage is a breath of fresh air in the endless sea of open world adventure games.
Mirage represents Ubisoft at its best; fuelling historical intrigue with tight, uncomplicated gameplay systems that make puzzles out of environments, that breadcrumb you to fantastic treasures, that sucker punch you out of your false sense of security whenever you get too comfortable. The game comes undone under the pressure of combat, but that’s OK, because the options it gives you to tiptoe around it feel superb in the hands. Assassin’s Creed is a helix, representing Ubisoft’s future and its legacy, and Mirage is at the intersection of both – proving it’s possible for Ubisoft to deliver something focused and fantastic, even without that new-fangled RPG finish.
Assassin’s Creed gets back-to-basics with a shorter, more focused – if slightly less polished -campaign, and a return to an impossibly beautiful looking early-era Middle East.
Assassins Creed Mirage reviews seem positive, which means that the franchise is headed in the right direction.
Stay tuned for the MP1st review, which will go up on the site very soon.

GRIDIRON NOTES
What We’re Hearing From You:
Each day, our team is reading the forums, chatting with you on social media, and watching gameplay across platforms like Youtube and Twitch. Below is a key update as we continue monitoring before we get into Title Update 3:
Slow UI Transitions – In our last update, we mentioned our prioritization around UI transitions. Many improvements have gone live across modes already and our Dev team continues to actively work to optimize high-traffic screens inside of Ultimate Team, Superstar, and Franchise. You can continue to expect incremental updates and improvements to screen transitions in the coming weeks.
Franchise Draft Class Fixes – See below for multiple fixes around Franchise Mode, specifically with Draft Classes. Please Note: The fixes will only affect newly created draft class files on Title Update 3. When downloading a new draft class, we recommend sorting by the Date Added column and selecting files created after October 4th in order to ensure the file does not contain the original error.
GAMEPLAY:
Abilities
DEV NOTE: The following ability additions are exclusive to Playstation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC versions.
Derrick Henry equipped with Angry Runs
When your player is entering the zone, this X-Factor ability grants you an extremely high chance to win your first interaction with a defender. This will include fakeout attempts, truck/stiff arm attempts, and breaking a tackle. Pro Tip: Look for Kyle Brandt’s Angry Runs player of the week to see which players earn this ability in Ultimate Team.
Travis Kelce equipped with 3rd Down Threat
This Superstar ability grants your player an improved chance of winning contested catches on 3rd down while in single coverage. This will only activate if the pass is within 25 yards of the line of scrimmage.
Jason Kelce equipped with Linchpin
This Superstar ability causes the center to bolster the entire offensive line, allowing players to hold blocks for a longer period of time then they normally would.
Micah Parsons equipped with Dual Threat
When in the zone, this X-Factor ability grants players an extremely high chance to defeat pass blocks while rushing or force catch knockouts while in coverage.
Pro Tip: In addition to these abilities being available on base rosters, these new abilities will be available to equip your players with in Ultimate Team.
Catching
Fixed an issue causing players to warp to their feet after playing a diving catch.
Fixed a rare issue preventing running backs from playing catches on swing routes when leading them upfield.
Fixed a rare issue allowing defenders to use a one-handed interception through the receiver’s arms.
Tuning to reduce the catch success chance for pass rushers when attempting to catch an errant throw-out-of-sack pass.
Tuning to reduce the amount of catch-tackle knockouts, specifically targeted at curl routes when leading away from the defender.
Defense & Special Teams
Tuning to Real-Time AI adjustment logic so it will not take effect when the defense is using pass coverage/sub defense personnel.
DEV NOTE: After hearing your feedback, and looking at the online game stats, we have added additional criteria so the defense will now have to have at least as many defensive linemen and linebackers on the field as the offense has offensive linemen and tight ends in order to activate the benefit of recognizing repeated run plays. For example, a defense aligning in a Dime defense vs. a 1 RB/1 TE offensive formation will now reflect the defense playing to stop the pass instead of the run.
Tuning to QB Contain logic so only edge-rush defenders that are very close to the line of scrimmage will be able to get assigned QB Contain.
Fixed an issue allowing a blitz exploit where the defense would slant-out the defensive line after using QB Contain to get unrealistic edge heat; now interior pass rushers will take appropriate rush angles understanding that the edge rushers are in contain.
Fixed an issue allowing a user-controlled defender to tackle a punt returner after a fair-catch signal with no penalty.
Fixed an issue causing receivers to enter the ‘give-up’ assignment sometimes after a catch in the flat to their side of the field.
Fixed an issue causing kickers to immediately walk toward the sideline after performing a squib kick.
Modified the defensive audibles logic so teams can only audible to formations with matching personnel.
DEV NOTE: Previously users were only able to audible to different defensive sets within a defensive formation but we were not looking at substitutions that were made prior to the audible. Users will no longer be able to audible to a Set that puts their substituted Safety on the Defensive Line. Users will have the ability to audible from Nickel to Dime if they have substituted a Linebacker with a Defensive Back which they could not do before.
Fixed an issue causing a user-controlled defensive lineman to sometimes get stuck in his stance after shifting the line to the right in the Nickel, 4-4 and 3-4 formations.
Fix an issue allowing users to snap the ball too quickly on no-huddle plays (carrying forward the fix from the last title update that was made to the Competitive Game Style).
AI
Fixed an issue where the AI-controlled team would burn their last timeout early and would sometimes not attempt field goals with the clock expiring.
Fixed an issue causing AI-controlled teams to attempt long field goals when out of range.
Passing
Tuning Pitch/Lateral accuracy to make it more difficult/risky to perform long-distance laterals while moving in opposite directions.
DEV NOTE: Users were able to create unrealistic long pitch plays using the Speed Option to draw the defense in, then pitch the ball to a player really far away. Now the pitch will not be as accurate when attempting to pitch such a far distance and the facing angle of the QB will also be taken into account.
Fixed a visual issue preventing the Skill-Based Passing power bar from updating correctly.
Fixed an issue preventing the user-setting to hide the passing meter from carrying over into gameplay.
Fixed an issue allowing Broncos QB Russell Wilson and Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes to throw on the run with no accuracy penalty.
Fixed an issue causing an inaccurate pass when rolling out and pass leading to the inside of a TE in the flat with ‘Perfect Accuracy’ feedback,
Tuning to reduce ‘backfoot’ pass animations from triggering when not under pressure.
Blocking
Added pass block logic to address several common exploit blitzes out of 4-3 Even, 6-1 Sam Will Blitz, 3-4 Odd Pinch Buck 0, Dollar 3-2 Cover 2 LB Blitz, Nickel Triple Tampa 2 and Nickel 3-3 Cub Mike Blitz 0.
Fixed a rare issue causing a defensive player to warp out of a super-win pass-rush animation into a post-play animation.
Fixed an issue preventing the right guard from having the correct blocking target on Pistol Tight Slots PA Post Shot.
Fixed an issue preventing the right tackle from engaging in a block on Gun Wing Flex Offset Mesh when targeting a defensive tackle.
Fixed an issue causing the ‘Check-and-Release’ route to release too quickly on the Gun Empty Chips Tight Deep Post Out play.
Tuning and improvements to lead-blocker logic for pulling blockers on plays like HB Base and Quick Toss.
Fixed an issue allowing edge defenders to immediately shed the TE on Toss plays.
Fixed an issue preventing tackles from blocking the DE’s on the Gun Empty Base Flex RPO Peek Q Draw play.
Tuning to reduce frequency of WR’s repeatedly re-engaging DB’s far down the field when open-field blocking.
Playbooks
Fixed an issue preventing the ‘Speed Onside’ recovery option from always populating in the play-call screen.
Fixed a rare issue preventing the snap after flipping a play due to a misaligned WR.
Fixed a typo showing Packers Bench in the Broncos playbook.
Fixed an issue causing the left end to get stuck in his pre-snap animation after pinching or crashing the D-line in the Dime Rush formation.
Pass Coverage
Fixed an issue allowing receivers to break away from defenders when pass-leading back on streak routes.
Fixed an issue in Cover 4 Match leaving the post route uncovered when using a hot-route to streak the TE on the Gun Doubles Z Close Escape play
Fixed an issue preventing the curl-flat defender from using a zone-chuck and leverage the flat vs. a slot receiver in 3-receiver bunch formations.
Addressed the following Cover 4 Match Coverage issues:
Gun Trey Y Flex Verticals – Slot receiver left uncovered (Palms specific)
Gun Trips TE PA Slot Corner – Slot WR left uncovered when motioning the inside Slot
Gun Trips TE Verticals – Slot Receiver left uncovered
Gun Y Tight Off Flood Drive – Tight End left uncovered

Gun Trips TE Pats Y In – Outside Wide on Post left uncovered
Gun Trips TE PA Slot Corner – Inside Slot Receiver left uncovered

Addressed a rare issue causing receivers to signal a First Down in the wrong direction following a dive-catch.
Fixed an issue preventing Justin Jefferson from using his signature ‘Griddy’ celebration.
Fixed a rare issue causing teammates to spin in place when trying to join a team celebration.
Fixed a rare issue preventing AI-controlled defenders from celebrating after returning an INT for a TD.
FRANCHISE MODE:
Fixed an issue with downloaded draft classes where all edited prospects would not appear correctly after being downloaded.
Fixed an issue where players in generated draft classes had body types that did not match their height and weight.
Fixed an issue where a player’s college would appear as N/A when it was edited prior to being uploaded.
Fixed an issue where a player’s height would change to 0’0” after editing a player from a downloaded draft class.
Fixed an issue where downloaded draft classes were not saving the handedness of players.

Fixed an issue where news stories would incorrectly refer to a game going to overtime.
Fixed an issue where a news story had teams reversed when referring to one of them dominating the game.
Weekly Strategy Reps Tuning
DEV NOTE: We’ve adjusted the levels at which CPU teams will switch to using the Split and Backups options during Weekly Strategy in order to keep their players more “fresh” near the end of the season. This should help remedy an issue that sometimes occurred where players would be too fatigued to play later in the year and the playoffs.
Fixed an issue where the halftime report would show incorrect information in a multi-user league.
Fixed an issue causing some AI-controlled QB’s to use incorrect archetype logic in Franchise mode.

As expected, the studio hasn’t released the patch notes just yet, as the game’s still in maintenance. Read on for the confirmed new items incoming for Madden 24 Season 2:
We’re expecting the patch notes to be available soon, so refresh this article from time to time, as we’ll be updating it with the official info once we know more.
Update: Full patch notes and Season 2 content have been added.
Developer Invader Studios has released Daymare: 1994 Sandcastle update 1.03 for console platforms. This is the first major update for the game and it contains bug fixes and improvements. Check out the Daymare October 4 patch notes down below.
Same as always, once the patch is out, we’ll be sure to let our readers know and we’ll provide a link to it in this article. Likewise with the server outage, if anything changes regarding that, expect us to post an update about it.
Not even two weeks after the developers of Payday 3 stated that they had no plans to change progression, Starbreeze has confirmed that the studio is currently working on “a bunch of changes” for the way the Payday 3 progression works in-game. This comes directly from today’s developer livestream.
Here’s the direct quote from Lead Producer Andreas Penninger regarding progression via the Twitch stream:
We have heard you, and we are working on a bunch of changes to the progression system. I can’t say exactly what yet. We’re working on it, then we’re going to test it and verify it to make sure it’s in line with how we want it to work and also based on your guys’ feedback. So, as soon as we have more clarity in “this is what we want to push live,” we’re going to communicate that to you guys.
It sounds like the Payday 3 team is taking player complaints into consideration pretty heavily. As it currently stands, experience is earned solely by completing challenges. Heisters receive no XP for simply completing heists. This means that it’s possible to complete an entire heist in full stealth with a huge haul and earn zero experience for it. Obviously, this hasn’t sat well with players.
The devs did initially state that they had plans to change the way challenges display to players in order to make them easier to navigate. It now sounds like their plans to change progression stretch beyond this initial goal, though no further details have been provided.
We hope Payday 3 gets back on its feet and stands tall as a great sequel. If you’re into the game currently and looking for some pointers, check out our tips and tricks here.

A couple weeks ago, Sony announced a limited time deal for new PlayStation 5 purchases. The “Upgrader Program,” as it is referred to, grants new PS5 owners a free game from a select catalog of first-party games to download upon activating their PS5. If the deal sounds too good to be true, it must have been, because Sony has quietly updated the PS5 free game offer terms to read “BY INVITATION ONLY.”
The new restriction placed on the deal means that customers now have to be directly invited to participate in the promotion in order to take advantage of it. It’s unclear who this limits the deal to, but it’s clear that Sony intends to cut down on the number of players claiming free games.
You can read the full updated terms of the promotion, which runs until October 20, below:

BALANCE UPDATES
CARD UPDATES
Mojo
[Old] 2/2 – Ongoing: If both players have 4 cards at this location, +6 Power.
[New] 2/2 – Ongoing: If both sides here are full, +6 Power.
Developer Note: This is just a minor consistency adjustment, bringing Mojo in line with Dazzler and the way she cares about full locations vs. a specific number of cards at those locations. We’ll continue exploring exactly where and how to draw that line. For example, Ant-Man requiring his teammates to get his buff feels slightly more resonant, but it’s more likely than not he’ll get this treatment next.
Uatu
[Old] 1/2 – Once this is in your hand, you can see the unrevealed locations
[New] 1/1 – At the start of the game, shows the right location to you.
Developer Note: The combination of Uatu’s effect being significant very early in the game but also dependent on drawing him has left this card in a tough spot. We’ve decided to start adjusting him by exploring a remedy that functions regardless of whether you draw him or not. We have some particular philosophies around this space, as it disrupts some of the tension we value in locations and we’re not looking to make Uatu a staple of Series 1/2 play. This is definitely an overly safe adjustment, and we may return to the card again based on how it goes.
Mantis
[Old] 1/2 – On Reveal: If your opponent played a card here this turn, draw a card from their deck.
[Change] 1/2 -> 2/3
Cable
[Old] 2/2 – On Reveal: Draw the top card of your opponent’s deck
[Change] 2/2 -> 3/4
Maria Hill
[Old] 2/3 – On Reveal: Add a random 1 or 2-Cost card to your hand.
[New] 1/2 – On Reveal:Add a random 2-Cost card to your hand.
Developer Note: These adjustments are all related, so we’ll go over them as a group. These three cards, along with Agent 13, Sentinel, and Snowguard, make up a cadre of characters that all add a card to your hand for a cheap cost under different circumstances. However, they’re also all overlapping one another a fair bit, existing in a tight range of Cost and Power combinations. We’d like to break that up a little bit to build in some differentiation as to how they’re used and where they might be played. It’s unlikely that this is the last tweak to this group we’ll make, but it should get the ball rolling and let us see more clearly how the live game values what each card is uniquely capable of bringing.

A brand new Persona 5 Tactica character trailer is here to show off the latest group of playable characters in the upcoming strategy game. Players can dip into Persona 5’s extensive roster of Phantom Thieves to blaze through tactical strategy combat scenarios. Each character has their own special abilities and a Persona that can help turn the tide of battle.
Here’s the new character trailer for your viewing pleasure:
Don’t feel like watching the video? No worries, we’ve got the breakdown for you here:
Persona 5 Tactica Characters
Ryuji – Matching his big and bold personality, Ryuji uses a shotgun to deal damage to multiple enemies in its field of fire. As for his Persona, Captain Kidd specializes in attacks that inflict shock. With his unique skill Brigantine Blitzkrieg, you can eliminate multiple enemies in a straight line—even if they’re behind cover.
Ann – With her submachine gun, Ann is able to hit several enemies with her basic ranged attack. With her Persona Carmen, Ann can hit groups of enemies as well as inflict burn on them. Try out Ann’s Femme Fatale attack to deliver a bomb directly to enemies in cover.
Yusuke– Yusuke can take down legionnaires with his assault rifle dishing out damage from across a wide distance. If that wasn’t enough, he relies on his Persona Goemon to unleash the ability Bufu to attack a small area with ice and inflict a freeze effect to enemies in the blast zone. He can also use the ability Like a Phantom to create decoys on the battlefield to keep enemies off balance.
Makoto – In combat, Makoto isn’t afraid of getting up close and personal to deliver punishment to her enemies. Also, with the aid of her Persona Johanna, she uses abilities like Full Throttle to damage enemies across a straight line in front of her with the added bonus of knocking foes aside and potentially out of cover altogether.
Futaba – Though not actively in the field, she assists the team from the sidelines using her Persona Necronomicon to heal teammates as well as restoring their SP so they can pull of more powerful attacks.
Haru – While she may appear gentle on the outside, legionnaires won’t want to underestimate her in combat. The spookiest 4v1 horror game is about to get spookier. The 2023 Dead by Daylight Halloween event has just been teased by developer Behaviour Interactive. Titled “Haunted by Daylight,” the update will arrive to the game in just a few short weeks.
Right off the bat, the ethereal blue setting of this event sets a pretty different tone from much of Dead by Daylight’s maps. The space looks much more isolated and, well, haunting. The teaser is brief, but it’s already got us excited.
We’ve even received a brief description of what the event will include:
Dare to enter the Void that is Dead by Daylight where your favorite horror characters coexist, ruled by a dark force in never-ending Trials. The Fog thickens this year as Haunted by Daylight, the unmissable in-game Halloween event returns, bigger than it’s ever been.
Players should get amped up on their jump scares thanks to Void Zones, new, terrifying gates to a mysterious Realm where the Entity’s victims – or Haunts – are dismissed and await to be released. The stakes will be even higher as players will find themselves face to face with these Haunts for the first time…
Dead by Daylight Halloween Roadmap
Additionally, Behaviour shared a roadmap of upcoming content for the month of October.
October 3 – Setting things off on October 3 is the arrival of some brand-new Dead by Daylight merch, coming exclusively to the online store. October 13 – A few days before Haunted by Daylight, Behaviour will be hosting a jam-packed livestream highlighting everything you can expect from the scariest event yet. Not only that, but they’ve arranged for an epic surprise that will explore the world of Dead by Daylight like never before.
October 18 – Haunted by Daylight returns, bringing a new Event Tome, the unsettling Void Realm, and plenty of tricks and treats to uncover. For the duration of the Event, they’ll also be running daily rewards until November 6th, so don’t miss out. Need a costume? They’ve got several Cosmetic Collections releasing just in time for Halloween: Void Touched, Tricks and Treats, and the return of all previous Halloween Outfits.
