Lords of the Fallen Demo “Currently Shelved” for Now, Explains Why Game Not on Last-Gen

If you’ve liked what you’ve seen so far of HexWorks’ Lords of the Fallen and wanted to try it before you buy, we have some bad news for you, as the studio has no plans for a Lords of the Fallen demo — at least for the time being.

This was confirmed to us by HexWorks head of studio Saul Gascon and Creative Director Cezar Virtosu in an interview.

MP1st: Will we get a demo for the game before release?

Virtosu: While the idea of a demo is currently shelved for the time being, we are still discussing this internally.

Now, for those hoping to see the game launch on last-gen (PS4, Xbox One), that’s not going to happen, and it’s due to Unreal Engine 5.

MP1st: Why is the game only available for current-gen platforms? Is this a technical issue where the PS4, Xbox One, etc., can’t handle the game or something else?

Virtosu: We’re using Unreal Engine 5. It uses Nanite & Lumen and the requirements for the GPUs are quite high. The PS4 and Xbox One, cannot handle Unreal Engine 5. We are one of the first AAA games to launch with Unreal Engine 5.

While that might be the nail in the coffin for a last-gen version of the game, the devs did say that there is a chance (even if it’s a super small one) that it can get ported.

Cezar Virtosu – We are one of the first AAA games to launch with Unreal Engine 5. We’re trailblazing; let’s see how technology evolves. Maybe there will be a port, but right now, it doesn’t seem very likely, and we cannot engage with this at this time.

Saul Gascon –  We’re a studio where we hear a lot of the player feedback. We’ve done it for every iteration of our game. Like we’ve done play testing with actual players, with mock reviewers, with different externals, and we’ve adapted a lot of the objectives of our game based on that. And so the feedback from the first game, the original game, if we see a high demand for those provisions, we might put an extra effort to downgrade the game to fit on those platforms.

Mind, while the devs haven’t committed to a Lords of the Fallen demo just yet, we’re still a few months off from its October release date, so things could change.

Stay tuned to our interview hitting the site this week.

Diablo 5 Won’t Be as Long in Development as D4, Says Blizzard’s President

Fans of Diablo 4 may be enjoying Blizzard’s latest hack and slash RPG to bits, even despite some controversies, but they are surely looking forward to additional content and the pretty much inevitable Diablo 5. But since Diablo 3 launched in 2012 and Diablo 4 released in 2023, the thought of waiting an entire decade for a new game is a scary idea, even if it still manages to be more reasonable than a little something called Half-Life 3. But don’t fret, as Diablo 5 won’t be as long in development, the wait is going to be shorter.

At least, that is the message that Blizzard Entertainment’s President Mike Ybarra shared recently on Twitter. Here is what he had to say:

While it would have been terrific to read some details on this statement, it’s easy to understand that future Diablo 4 content and Diablo 5 won’t take such a long time as before. This could be majorly due to the overwhelming reception to Diablo 4, proving that Blizzard still has the chops and that players aren’t afraid to vote with their wallets, with the first five days bringing in over $666 million in sales – quite a remarkable coincidence for a game with a hellish theme.

If you haven’t played Diablo 4, go read our review here where we state, “Do yourself a favor: ditch your reservations and step into Sanctuary as soon as you can. It’s likely going to be literal hell during the launch queues, but you’ll have a beautifully grim and visceral adventure ahead, one where every leveling up sound will feel like music to your ears.”

Mediatonic has released Fall Guys update 1.25 on all platforms, and this is for the Summer Breeze title update! You can check out the patch notes for that below, but there’s a bigger change incoming to how Seasons work as well.

Fall Guys Update 1.25 Patch Notes:

From pillars to platforms, Fall Guys Creative receives numerous obstacles for Builder Beans to fill up the Blunderdome with. You’ll definitely have a blast with the new fans…

Where can you see these new, fun and fantastic obstacles? In our new Rounds of course, which will be available to play from 17th August! We’re adding 4 new Rounds featuring our new Carriable fans:

  • Gappy-go-Lucky
  • Fun with Fans

QUALITY OF LIFE CHANGES

A couple of quality of life changes will make lobbies more fun, and the camera more manoeuvrable. No need to keep your emotions in check—we’ve unlocked the ability to emote in the lobby. Kick every Round off with a dance party or pose-a-thon while waiting for the game to begin.

We added one of the most requested changes to Fall Guys, the ability to look up! Beans can now see more of the level they’re stumbling over with the vertical camera improvement, perfect for more vertically challenging Rounds, or to look at a lovely balloon.

  • Various minor softlocks and cosmetic issues have now been fixed
  • Fixed instances where players could not click the “Back” prompt using a mouse in the Creative Mode menus
  • Added a placeholder image to the My Levels menu for instances where a thumbnail cannot be rendered
  • Fixed instances where a new Fame Pass would not load in the store if a player has the game open over the refresh time
  • Fixed the Blizzard and Floor fans not having SFX in the Level Editor
  • Fixed draggable objects rapidly respawning when placed at the bottom of a level
  • Fixed visual jitters when holding a carriable Fan whilst on a ramp
  • [XBOX] Fixed the A button becoming unresponsive in some instances when players open the Party Menu
  • [PS5] Fixed draggable boxes lacking collision SFX

Fall Guys Season Changes:

According to Mediatonic, “big changes” are coming to the Blunderdome, as they are moving away from Seasons to more frequent updates to the game.

Here’s a quick preview of what’s in store for the coming months:

You will see the Digital ‘Creative Construction’ theme in the game a little while longer but our Beans are hard at work on updating this with a new lick of paint very soon!

In June, we released a bounty of Blocks and Carriables for Beans to enjoy. And now, in the Summer Breeze Update, we’re adding Carriable Fans, new Obstacles & Objects, new Rounds, and more! This new schedule will make 2023 fly by. To help you keep track, we’re sharing our Roadmap, giving you a glimpse of what’s to come for Fall Guys.

With Fame Passes continuing our regular releases of snazzy Costumes, we’re busier than ever. Fame Passes will carry on, so you can keep your drip fresh as you race towards the finish line! Keep an eye on our socials to keep up-to-date with everything coming to Fall Guys. Now, let’s step into the Summer Breeze.

That’s about it. Expect more patches for Fall Guys moving forward.

Diablo 4 Community Outraged Over In-Game Shop Ads

There is another controversy stemming from Diablo 4, resulting from a new addition by Blizzard. When launching the game after the 1.1.2 patch released yesterday, players are greeted with a pop-up mentioning that there are some new cosmetics on sale at the in-game shop, and this didn’t go down well within the community, with reactions ranging from “mildly infuriating” to “irritating.”

The prompt in question comes with the “New Wares Enter Tejal’s Shop” title, and while players can close the button and move on, but they aren’t pleased by the concept itself. You can see the image below:

Diablo 4 Community Outraged Over In-Game Shop Ads

A comment by Reddit user Lovs2Spooj shares their views on the current addition to Diablo 4:

As a player who’s been spending countless hours in dungeons (looking for The Butcher), open world farming goblins n elites and world boss events for mounts and bardings, getting that prompt after the small update…thinking they did something useful…saying “Hey, we put more s**t in the shop” is like a slap in the face. Those drops must intentionally be set to like a .001% chance to strong arm you into buying from the store. The little exclamation point next to SHOP is pretty sleazy too. We didn’t miss anything in the shop. Obvious the priorities are for microtransactions.

While this seems harmless enough, some are not OK with Blizzard inserting ads into their $70 full-priced games. Do you think some people are overreacting or should Blizzard not do this at all?

Report: Modern Warfare 3 Will Feature All 16 MW2 2009 Maps

If you have fond memories of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2’s multiplayer maps (the original one released back in 2009), you’re in for a treat with this year’s Modern Warfare 3. It seems that Activision has confirmed that Modern Warfare 3 will feature all 16 maps from the original MW2! Far from being a rumor or speculation, it is an official confirmation that was shared via an ingenious market ploy.

The maps were unearthed via the phone number Easter egg spotted in the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 reveal trailer. The same number (open to US residents) was also shared via the official @callofduty Twitter page. However, the process to receive confirmation on the maps is different from what Activision shared in that tweet, which seemed to be more of a traditional way to receive automated alerts from Call of Duty.

The number is +1 202-918-3022 and sending a text via phone or WhatsApp with the name of a map will send confirmation that the map is in Modern Warfare 3. All 16 maps from Modern Warfare 2 are confirmed to transition to the sequel.

Here is the full list of Modern Warfare 3 maps coming from Modern Warfare 2 (2009):

  • Afghan
  • Derail
  • Estate
  • Favela
  • Highrise
  • Invasion
  • Karachi
  • Quarry
  • Rundown
  • Rust
  • Scrapyard
  • Skidrow
  • Sub Base
  • Terminal
  • Underpass
  • Wasteland

The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 worldwide reveal is slated to  take place tomorrow, August 17, in Warzone, which has been the case for the last few years. Speaking of which, the title update that houses the reveal data was released earlier today, and here are the patch notes for it.

Modern Warfare 3 is set for release this November 10 on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC.

Thanks. CODWarfareForum, CharlieIntel!

Minecraft Legends Update 1.09 for August 16 Improves PvP and More

Minecraft Legends update 1.09 (PS5 version 1.009) has been released by Blackbird Interactive today! This is is know as the game’s big August Update, and includes a host of improvements. Read on for everything new in the official Minecraft Legends August 16 patch notes.

Minecraft Legends Update 1.09 Patch Notes | Minecraft Legends Update 1.009 Patch Notes | Minecraft Legends August Update Patch Notes:

The August Update is now available for Minecraft Legends! This update introduces a load of improvements to the game based on feedback we’ve been seeing throughout the community. Let’s take a quick gander at the highlights:

  • Improved PvP communication
  • Custom game options for Campaign and PvP
  • Refund mobs at spawners
  • Reworked campaign prologue flow
  • Revamped Banner View experience
  • Several other quality of life improvements
New Features and Content:
Improved PVP Communication Tools:
  • Updated World Map Markers

    – The types of available world map markers have been expanded to allow for more descriptive communication.

    • On the Map screen you may cycle through the four types of markers:
      • Attack (eg: “Let’s attack at the Orange Base!”)
      • Defend (eg: “Let’s defend at the Blue Base!”)
      • Gather (eg: “Let’s gather at the swamp biome!”)
      • Default (eg: “PLAYER NAME has pinged the swamp biome.”)
    • New map marker messages will be displayed in the chat log to help attract your teammates’ attention
  • Updated Structure Placement

    – A new UI feature has been added beside the hot bar when placing a structure which allows players to communicate several important phrases. A player can:

    • Say that they intend to build the selected structure
    • Request that a teammate build the selected structure
    • Quickly say “Yes” or “No”
  • Lobby Roles

    – Players who wish to play in a certain style can now select from several presets to convey that intent to their fellow team members. Selecting a role doesn’t impact gameplay, but it’s a good way to tell your team what you intend to do in the upcoming match. Roles include:

    • Builder: Focused on building and defending your home base
    • Explorer: Scouting piglins or the enemy team for information and gathering resources for your team
    • Fighter: Primarily focused on attacking the enemy team
    • Piglin Hunter: Focused on gathering Prismarine from Piglin bases
    • Flexible (Default): A flexible role with no specific goal in mind
Custom Game Options:
  • We’ve added Custom Campaign and Custom Versus modes to give players more freedom and control over their game experience.
  • These new modes allow you to customize a whole range of different settings that can result in a completely different spin on the game! Make the game easier or more challenging, try a different twist on what you know and love or just give yourself tons of resources so you can play around in a sandbox!
  • When choosing a custom campaign, you will skip over the tutorial and prologue and start immediately in the main campaign when the piglin invasion is in full swing. If you’re not enjoying what you’ve selected, most settings can be changed between saves. The only exceptions are for settings that must be set when the world is created such as world size or starting resources.
  • Custom game options are also available in private versus matches. Invite your friends and craft your ideal match!
  • A quick breakdown of the different settings:
    • World – Change the overall size of the world, the number of rare resource veins, and bonus settings like gravity, knockback, and fall damage.
    • Resources – The amount of resources you start with and the max number you can hold. Includes a bonus challenging option that makes you lose a % of resources when a player character dies.
    • Player – Change your character’s health and damage or give them bonuses like always on speed, jump, or invulnerability.
    • Player Tools – Change your mob & structure health, damage, and construction speed. You can unlock all melodies for use or even restrict some melodies from being used in a game (e.g. no creepers, no redstone launcher, etc).
    • Piglins – Change the amount of health & damage of piglin units, structures, and bosses.
  • This is an experimental mode, as there are many combinations we have not been able to test every single one, so there may be unexpected results!
  • We plan to add even more custom settings in the future for further customization and experimentation. We hope you enjoy it and can’t wait to see what unique worlds you build!
Auto Lure:
  • A new gameplay option has been added that makes mobs automatically follow the player after being spawned
  • This feature can be enabled in the Controller Settings and Keyboard/Mouse Settings screens by turning on “Auto luring”
Mob Refund:
  • The player now has the ability to refund lured mobs at ANY player-built mob spawner
  • This allows the player to remove mobs from their spawned army one at a time and replace them with different mobs. The resource price of the spawned mob will be refunded back to the player directly into their resources
  • Mobs the player finds around the world cannot be refunded
Structure Health Bars:
  • Player and Piglin structure health bars are now visible in Banner View
    • Only structures that are in range of Banner View will have health bars visible
    • The last game update made enemy structure health visible, but now your own structures also show health bars
  • Piglin health bars are now visible while using the Redstone Launcher
    • Only structures that are in range of the Redstone Launcher will have health bars visible
  • Piglin structures hit by the player sword will display their health bar for a short time
  • The most recent Piglin structure in range of the player that has been damaged by player mobs will display its health bar for a short time
    • If player mobs are actively attacking two structures, whichever the player is closest to will have its health bar displayed
Pet Animals:
  • You can now pet animals by pressing and holding the “Pet Animal” button when you are beside them. We’ve added new animations for the animals to show just how much they appreciate it!
General Game Improvements:
Mob Pathfinding:
  • Improved mob behavior around ledges and cliffs to reduce the frequency of mobs accidentally falling or getting lost
  • Mobs can no longer forcibly or accidentally push each other off ledges
  • They will follow players down jumps that are within mob fall height
Improved Creeper Behavior:
  • Creepers detonate more reliably on their assigned target when given orders by the player
Improved Visibility of Resources:
  • Rare resource deposits in the world will now glow, or gleam, occasionally to make them easier to spot when moving through the world
  • Improved Map legend to more accurately communicate which resources can be found in which biome
Player Empowerment Improvements:
  • Reduced Fall Damage
    • Players, their mounts, and their mobs fall a greater distance before taking fall damage. This results in fewer frustrating, fall-related deaths
  • Speedy Mason
    • Reduced time interval between structures being upgraded by the Stone Mason
    • Structures do not upgrade faster, but the time between a structure finishing the upgrade and the next starting has been reduced
    • This is further reduced with the Well of Fate mason upgrade
Mob Combat:
  • The combat effectiveness of player mobs and piglin units has been updated. These changes were done to make each unit more unique and effective on the battlefield and to better highlight the differences between each unit
  • Players will now find that individual golems have more unique roles on the battlefield, and players will have to be more careful that they pick the right mob to counter specific piglin units or structures
Banner View:
  • Mob Pathfinding / Banner View:
    • The banner view visuals have been updated to provide the player with a more accurate representation of where their mobs will go when given a banner view order
    • Mob pathfinding has been improved so that they are more reliable in getting to their predicted destination
  • Path presentation
    • Banner view presentation has been completely overhauled
    • Aiming with banner view now presents a rectangle path that better reflects the actual width of the path mobs will follow. This change is intended to better align player expectations with the mob’s pathfinding reality
    • The mob navigable rectangle updates its position in near-real time to better communicate where mobs will actually end up after being given an order, while still maintaining the independent targeting reticle for ranged mobs
    • When either Charge or Focus Target is activated, confirmation dotted lines and arrows appear briefly before fading out – those show the projected path that mobs will navigate
    • Blue flags that were placed at the end of the banner view path have been removed to improve visual clarity of banner view use
Versus Mode Accolades:
  • Three new accolades can now be awarded to players at the end of a match:
    • Prismarine Pillager

      – Awarded to the player who collected the most Prismarine

    • Fantastic Fortifier

      – Awarded to the player who built the most walls

    • Runts’ Worst Nightmare

      – Awarded to the player who defeated the most piglins

User Interface Improvements:
  • Menus & Flows:
    • A new welcome message now appears that details new content when first logging in after applying a patch
    • New menus and options to set up a Custom Game in Campaign and Versus Mode
    • The Lost Legends tab in Marketplace has been vastly improved! Players can now see the latest monthly legend and reward, as well as a list of previous Lost Legends
  • HUD:
    • Improvements to the visibility of icons on the compass
Other Fixes and Improvements:
  • A message now appears when players are approaching the structure limit (MCLG-288)
  • Fixed village chests sometimes missing in some villages (MCLG-52)
  • Allays no longer get stuck building steep ramps (MCLG-361)
Prologue Improvements:
Reworked Prologue Flow:
  • We streamlined the length of the prologue to almost half what it used to be by removing some repetitive beats and unnecessary travel. It’s now faster and more action-packed!
    • Fast travel is now enabled for all the villages once the player defeats the first group of piglins at the village in the prologue
    • Updated piglin compositions throughout the prologue to better highlight the strengths and weaknesses of the player’s golems compared to the various piglin units
  • Known Issue: Some voiceovers in the prologue are not present when playing in German. These translations will be added in an upcoming game update soon
Updated In-game Text:
  • Updated prologue objective messages to better guide players and highlight what roles the starter golems fill on the battlefield
  • Updated the tooltips for mob spawners to better show the strengths and weaknesses of all the different player mobs
  • Added mob descriptions while using Type Select in banner view to better show the strengths and weaknesses of player mobs
Updated Carpenter Hut Objective:
  • The carpenter hut flow in the prologue has received a lot of polish and now dynamically reacts to the player’s actions and guides them to complete the objective more consistently
Banner View Tutorial:
  • The banner view tutorial during the Piglin Outposts beat in the prologue has been updated to better guide players through the different functions of banner view
Objective Beacons:
  • The player’s objectives in the prologue are now highlighted with beacons of light that can be seen from anywhere in the world. This makes it easier to find these locations
World Map:
  • Prologue objectives now have an identifying decal and beacon on the world map to better guide the player to their locations
Player Compass:
  • Flashing icons on the compass no longer fade out on the edges of the compass. This makes it easier to track and follow those icons
  • A large arrow is now shown on the right or the left of the compass depending on where the flashing icon is in relation to the player’s position. This helps players know which way to turn to find these locations
  • The flashing icons’ outlines have been thickened to improve visibility
  • The flashing icons’ animation has been improved to improve visibility
  • The middle arrow in the compass now becomes larger when underneath a flashing icon to better indicate to players that this is the direction they need to go
  • Players’ map markers on the compass will pulse after exiting the map screen to improve their visibility
“How to Play” Tutorial Pages:
  • Updated the videos and descriptions for several tutorials
  • Added a new tutorial for the new Mob Refund feature
Co-op Campaign Flow:

NHL 24 Release Date Set for Oct. 6; New Features and Gameplay Revealed

As promised earlier this week, we now have our first look at NHL 24 with the reveal trailer! In addition to that, the NHL 24 release date has been revealed to be October 6 on all platforms.

EA isn’t done there, as we also have a features list of new stuff EA is bringing to the table for this year’s hockey sim. Check out the NHL 24 gameplay reveal along with a ton of info regarding gameplay, World of Chel and Ultimate Team.

NHL 24 Gameplay Features:

  • All-New Exhaust Engine – A complete revamp of the NHL 24 gameplay experience that rewards extended offensive events and attack zone time, adding a dynamic new layer of authenticity and excitement to the game.
  • Sustained Pressure System – If offensive players can keep the pressure on in the attack zone, they’ll trigger the Sustained Pressure perk, which lowers their opponent’s attributes for a limited time and creates more spacing for movement and setting up plays.
  • Goalie Fatigue System – The longer you can sustain pressure, the more fatigue your opponent’s goalie will experience. Fatigue affects the netminder’s ability to react to shots as they wear down over time, and upwards of 75 new goalie animations help bring this in-game storyline to life.
  • Physics-Based Contact – Overhauled physics and animations revolutionize physical contact and deliver realistic body checks like never before. New animation-based reactions create big moments at any point in the game. Plus, bigger checks open up more turnover opportunities, but if you don’t connect, you’ll be left out of position, adding a new layer of risk-reward gameplay. And yes, for those that like to get physical, you can now break the glass and send your opponent into the bench.
  • Crossplay – NHL 24 sees improved cross-play capabilities that let you play with and against players across same-generation Sony and Microsoft consoles in HUT and WOC for the most connected Chel experience yet.
  • Total Control Skill Moves – A complete refresh of the control setup makes using highlight-reel moves more intuitive and accessible. Plus, we’ve added a new ability to fake, pass, or deke out of every move, opening up a whole new level of creativity and strategy for players.
  • Vision Passing System – A re-mapping of face buttons to your teammates, along with new visual iconography above pass receivers, allows for more direct passing and the ability to pass anywhere at any time on the ice. In addition, One Touch Passing lets you quickly move the puck around the ice and capitalize on big opportunities by tapping the pass button as the puck is in transit. All of this empowers more creative and authentic passing exchanges.
  • Human Goalie Controls– We’ve updated Human Goalie Controls to be more accessible and intuitive, enhancing their potential impact on the ice.
  • Tethered Control System allows you to slide back and forth to make saves and then auto-return back to a centered position, making it easier for the player to focus on the game.
  • The Instinct System gives players the opportunity to guess the location of the shot for a bonus on their save attempt—but guessing wrong increases the chance of a goal.

WORLD OF CHEL

  • Mixed Clubs – The introduction of cross-play to World of Chel means you can now play with, against and talk smack to your friends across same-generation consoles. This deeper player pool also shortens wait times, so you can get in the game even faster against the level of opposition you’re looking for.
  • Battle Pass – Play your way through action-packed seasons of WOC Battle Pass at free and premium levels. Now, get rewards for time spent playing in WOC, and with a whole new range of Player Classes and vanity items to collect, they’ll change the way you play the game — and how you look while doing it.
  • Creation Zone – An overall upgrade and streamlining of user experience mean lightning-fast response times when switching between the different aspects of Creation Zone to customizing your character.
  • EASHL Evolved – Casual Mode and matchmaking improvements, more human players and upgrades that make earning Battle Pass XP more fun are all new in NHL 24. An update to EASHL Playoffs introduces an authentic, streamlined do-or-die 16-game path to the title, which also sees you earn Ranking Points as you make your way through the bracket. A Global Champion will then be crowned post-playoffs, upping the stakes and excitement.
  • WOC Storefront – WOC Storefront updates give you even more items to outfit your character with as well as access to exclusive new premium bundles of custom characters, player banners and more.

HOCKEY ULTIMATE TEAM

  • HUT Moments – Whether it’s a historic hockey moment or last week’s crucial postseason-clinching play, recreate hockey’s top headlines in HUT Moments—and earn rewards for doing so.
  • Objectives 2.0 – NHL 24 introduces a new real-time objective-tracking system based on card types, teams, players and on-ice actions, all while updating player progress in-game.
  • Enhanced Presentation – New presentation adjustments informed by the community will enhance player immersion:
  • Flex Moments – The NHL 24 broadcast feels more alive with over 75 new goal celebration animations, new camera angles, lighting effects and the ability for players to map their celebration to their controller so they can flex how they want when they want.
  • Enriched Crowd Atmosphere – This is by far the most energetic Chel crowd to date. New waves of event reactions support significant stoppages, rushes down the ice, Exhaust Engine peaks and those dramatic comeback moments that make the arena feel alive.

Broadcast Advancements

  • New Color Commentator – Veteran broadcaster and two-time Olympic ice hockey gold medalist Cheryl Pounder joins the color-commentary booth.
  • Dynamic Rink Boards – An expansion of the augmented reality broadcast, now the rink boards are built to communicate key on-ice moments, such as delayed penalties, goal summaries, stat milestones and vanity backdrops.

NHL 24 release date has been marked October 6, 2023 for the PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One.

Final Fantasy 16 Producer Yoshi-P Wishes All Gamers Played Games on a Single Console

Final Fantasy 16 producer and Final Fantasy 14 director sat down in an interview where he said that he wishes that all players played games on a single console.

Yoshida says:

Well, in truth, as for game hardware… Maybe I shouldn’t say this, (but) I really wish there was one (platform). Really, everyone, please make it one platform. Because making those games and playing it would be easier.

The interview was conducted by Muyao 4 Super Player on YouTube and was posted with an English translation by Genki_JPN on Twitter. You can find the full clip below:

Funny enough, Final Fantasy 16 launched on only one platform (the PS5) with a PC release that is pending. However, Yoshida’s older game, Final Fantasy 14 was announced for Xbox Series X|S back in July with a Spring 2024 release date.

It’s worth noting that while Yoshi-P hopes that there is only one platform for them to develop their games on, the higher-ups at Square Enix will always be the ones to make the call on what game releases on which platforms.
