The Sims 4 Update 1.55 Patch Notes; Brings Neighborhood Stories This March 15

Maxis has released The Sims 4 update 1.55 patch that brings the Neighborhood Stories title update, which includes new Scenarios! Read on for everything new for today in The Sims 4 March 15 patch notes straight from the devs.

The Sims 4 Update 1.55 Patch Notes | The Sims 4 March 15 Patch Notes:

PC: 1.85.203.1030 / Mac: 1.85.203.1230

Console: Version 1.55

Sul sul, Simmers!

We hope you are safe and sound wherever you are right now.

Today’s update includes a range of bug fixes, several new Scenarios, and the expansion of Neighborhood Stories as a configurable system that applies to Neighbor Sims throughout your game!

As usual, thank you all for your continued support and feedback, and – most importantly – have fun!

– SimGuruKuxiku.

WHAT’S NEW?

Play with Neighborhood Stories!

Ever wonder why those Sims next door never move out? Or expand their family? …Or die from causes other than old age?

Well, Neighborhood Stories is the answer!  Last November, we rolled out an update for everyone that added a set of life changes for Neighbor Sims who have a personal connection to your active household. With this release, Neighborhood Stories expands to breathe more life into Sims around town without your Sims even having to know them. They’re your neighbors, or your Sims that live across town, or even across the world. The Sims that you don’t actively play now have story moments happen to them. This includes allowing neighbor Sims to die in accidents, have an adoption or baby, make changes in their career or move in and out of Lots.

But maybe you’re saying, “I like the Pancakes the way they are! I don’t want them to move or have children! That’s not my story!” Don’t worry – Neighborhood Stories can be enabled for all Sims in My Households or Other Households, or on an individual basis per Household. Not only that, but each type of story can also be turned on or off individually. So, you can turn off the Pancakes from moving out or having children, but Bob can still change his career or die in a fiery accident!

To change configurations, just select Manage Worlds in the Options menu, and then select Manage Households. From there, you can choose either My Households or Other Households, and then configure the Neighborhood Stories by selecting the button at the top-right for all the Households in that tab. Or you can configure them separately per Household, using the Neighborhood Stories button in each Household.

To see what changes have taken place each day, go to a Mailbox and select ‘Check Recent Neighborhood Stories’. A Notification will appear, letting you know what changes have happened. See what’s happening to the Sims around the world, no matter who they are!

New Scenarios Now Available Along with Existing Household Support in Select Scenarios!

Would you like to try out some brand new Scenarios? With today’s base game update you can!

We’ve added 7 new Scenarios to The Sims 4. When you boot up the game today you’ll have access to:

  • Too Many toddlers
    • In this updated version of the previously limited time Scenario, aim to get the happy toddler reward trait for this gaggle of whiz kids in the making
  • Troublemaker
    • The kid’s a menace! Choose the path of villainy or surprise them with a redemption arc!
  • Rom-Com
    • Is this relationship a joke? Only you can write the punchline!
  • Super Rich Supervillain
    • Making a fortune is great, but you know what’s even better? Stealing one.
  • Extraterrestrial Researcher
    • This Sim wants to… believe! Bring the truth from ‘out there’ to your own home.
  • Unlucky Chef
    • Luck has nothing to do with how fire this chef is…
  • No Skills, No Problem
    • Who said Sims need to be skilled to make it in life? Time to prove your street smarts!

In addition to these Scenarios we’ve updated the feature to add existing household support to select Scenarios. You’ll also notice several tweaks and improvements to various aspects of the feature.

Check out 20 minutes of raw Ghostwire Tokyo gameplay, and it’s at 4K resolution with no commentary to get in the way.

Raw Ghostwire Tokyo Gameplay in 4K (No commentary):

Here’s the official Ghostwire Tokyo game description:

Ghostwire: Tokyo is an action-adventure game that challenges players to master the mystical arts of Ethereal Weaving while working to defeat the menacing Hannya and his followers, the Visitors, who have invaded Tokyo. These supernatural entities roam the stunning world of Ghostwire, creating a scintillating atmosphere that is a love letter to Tokyo, its curiosities, and secrets.

Ghostwire: Tokyo will transport players to an intriguing world filled with characters from Japanese legends, folklore, and tales. These stories have inspired many of the unusual creatures you will encounter, giving Ghostwire a true-to-Tokyo flavor. Crafted by the inventive minds at Tango Gameworks, players will traverse Tokyo’s ultra-modern cityscape, discover iconic landmarks, and uncover secrets hidden throughout it.

Players who venture off the beaten path will also find charming characters in need of assistance, countless spirits in need of rescuing, and unexpected purry friends who can exchange rare finds for generous rewards. Optional stories in Ghostwire are not the usual side content fare, but rather lovable tales that further flesh out the game’s world and vision.

Ghostwire Tokyo will magic its way out this March 25 on the PS5 and PC. Stay tuned to our review hitting the site soon.

Chorus Update 1.06 Blasts Out for HOTAS Support & More This March 15

Fishlabs has released the Chorus update 1.06 March 15 patch, and this one is for Update 1.6, which adds HOTAS support to the game and so much more! Check out the full Chorus March 15 update patch notes below.

Chorus Update 1.06 Patch Notes | Chorus Update 1.6 Patch Notes | Chorus March 15 Update Patch Notes:

The universe of Chorus is about to feel that little more immersive with the free 1.6 update, out today.

A new Ray-Tracing mode is now available for all players, adding Ray-Traced reflections to all materials so that the environment, NPC and ship surfaces reflect light in a more natural and realistic way. On PC there’s also added support for NVIDIA’s DLAA.

But it’s not just a visual update, it’s tactile too. Now CHORUS supports HOTAS (hands on throttle-and-stick) accessories for the most precise and immersive controls possible.

Patch 1.6
Visual Update and HOTAS.
  • Ray-Traced Reflections support has been added for a more realistic and immersive visual experience.
  • You can now use most HOTAS (hands on throttle-and-stick) controllers to map all gameplay actions and input values to buttons and axes from multiple devices. Set target velocity directly via a throttle, instead of manually controlling acceleration/deceleration. Control the roll of the player ship.
  • Added support for NVIDIA’s DLAA.
Balancing and Localization.
Balancing
  • Increased time to destroy Regrowth-Seals in first temple.
  • Damage from collisions with low and medium impact angles as well as medium speeds has been reduced.
  • Damage from collisions against shield has been reduced by half, making it absorb four times as much collision damage as hull.
    First boss
  • Damage over time when falling behind while flying inside the arms has been reduced, allowing potential recovery on collision.
  • Picking up the hull that drops from destroying the third arm will now always restore 100% hull.
  • The placement of the hull pickup that drops from destroying the third arm has been adjusted to make it easier to collect.
  • Damage over time in the last phase has been reduced by half, effectively doubling the time limit to destroy the boss.
    Localization
  • Japanese language localization is now available for full game and demo versions of Chorus on all platforms.
    Bug Fixes
  • Various minor visual and rare mission progression fixes.

That’s about it for the patch. Once a new title update or new content drop is announced, we’ll let our readers know. Stay tuned by bookmarking our Chorus game hub.

5 New Dying Light 2 Parkour Challenges Out This Week, First One Live in Central Loop & Here’s a Peek

Remember when Techland announced that new Dying Light 2 parkour challenges are making their way into the game? The studio said “very soon,” but we didn’t think it’d be this soon, as the first one is now live, with a total of five planned to be released this week!

Techland has revealed a new trailer featuring the new parkour challenges that await gamers:

Try Yourself with the New Parkour Challenges! Test your agility and prove your skills in the five new parkour challenges, coming to The City this week! The first one—the Flying Scorpion challenge—is already available in the Central Loop in the Garrison district. Make sure you head there to hone your skills before the next four challenges on Thursday the 17th!

Not bad, Techland. So far, this joins the Ronin and Authority packs as some of the free stuff the studio has released post-launch. Hopefully, we’ll be getting a patch come Thursday for more bug fixes, though that’s unlikely, given the studio has been vocal on upcoming updates. There are also additional stuff planned, which seems to include a photo mode and more.

If you haven’t bought the game yet, go read our review to see why it’s worth a buy.

This change is mainly reflected in the UI and round feedback. It aims to bring consistency to the UI and improve onboarding for newcomers. The team colors can be changed between blue, red, or orange in the Accessibility section of the Options menu.

Elite Dangerous Update 1.65 Patch Notes | Elite Dangerous Update 11 Patch Notes | Elite Dangerous March 15 Patch Notes:

Greetings Commanders,

Update 11 has arrived! Since Elite Dangerous’ inception, Commanders yearned to stand and walk on planets throughout the Milky Way which Odyssey has delivered. Now it’s time to sit down once again, put those feet up, and enjoy one of the most glorious views in the game from the inside: a Fleet Carrier jump.

This release also brings a range of fixes and features including the brand new Protect mission type. If you’re up for the challenge, these missions will demand more of Commanders than previous types. Read all about them and everything else in Update 11 below:

Fleet Carriers
Interiors have been added to Fleet Carriers to enjoy on-foot. These include:

Main Areas

  • A Command Deck with an additional area for the owner and their Wing.
  • A seating area for safe Fleet Carrier jumps.

Other Fleet Carrier Changes

  • Fixed an issue where missions could be repeatedly abandoned to produce a strong negative influence on the faction offering.
  • Fixed an issue with shared missions not displaying correctly when in a failed state.

Greetings Commanders,

Elite Dangerous is a game close to my heart.

It’s no secret that Odyssey’s launch was less than ideal, including the need to split the PC/console player base to focus on a PC-only launch. Since Odyssey’s release in May 2021, we have worked tirelessly to improve the Odyssey experience on PC, and whilst we have made great progress there is still more to be done. We have been supporting the pre-Odyssey and post-Odyssey codebases since.

Over the last several months, we have been wrestling with the best way to move forward, and it is with a heavy heart we have decided to cancel all console development. We need to be able to move forward with the story of the game, and in order for us to do this we need to focus on a single codebase. Elite Dangerous will continue on console as it is now together with critical updates, but we will focus on new content updates on PC on the post-Odyssey codebase.

We appreciate this news is not what our console community were hoping for. This was not an easy decision to make, but it was made with the long-term future of Elite Dangerous in mind.

There you have it. It’s a bit sad to read, especially if you’re playing this on consoles, but be sure to stay tuned once a new title update or new content drop is announced, as we’ll let our readers know. Stay tuned by bookmarking our Elite Dangerous game hub.

MAP REWORK: OUTBACK

Outback has received a variety of updates to improve balancing and player comfort. Both the main building and its exterior have been modified to allow Attackers to create and execute more effective strategies. As well, new exterior soft walls have been added to the building, and some areas have been refurbished and cleaned up to remove junk and provide better lines of sight and balance.

A few new locations have been added to the map:

  • 1F Convenience Store, 1F Compressor Room, 1F Gear Store, and 1F Beer Fridge have been combined into 1F Bike Repair and 1F Mechanic Shop.
  • 2F Office Supply is larger and has an exterior soft wall.
  • 1F Restaurant has been split into two rooms: 1F Restaurant and 1F Shark.

Bomb sites have been moved:

  • The bombsites that were previously in 2F Dorms and 2F Laundry have been moved to 2F Laundry and 2F Piano Room.

TEAM COLORS

Since the game’s release, Rainbow Six Siege has always used two colors to represent teams: blue and orange. The default team colors have now changed to blue and red, with opponents always being red. This change is mainly reflected in the UI and round feedback. It aims to bring consistency to the UI and improve onboarding for newcomers. The team colors can be changed between blue, red, or orange in the Accessibility section of the Options menu.

To go along with this change, teams are now referred to in-game as Your Team and Opponents instead of Blue Team and Orange Team.

CUSTOMIZATION

ELITE 2.0

  • Players can customize their Operator’s unique abilities in the Loadout section.
  • Players can navigate to any Operator in the Operators section and select the Appearance tab to view Headgear, Uniforms, Victory Celebrations, Operator Portraits, and Card Backgrounds.
  • Players can customize their Operator Cards by mixing and matching Operator Portraits and Card Backgrounds. Their selections will be seen by teammates before everyone loads into the match and in various places in-game. They will also be seen by opponents they eliminate.
  • UX and UI changes have been made to various customization menus to improve player comfort.

3D WEAPON SKINS

  • Players can now acquire Exotic weapon skins during their Battle Pass progression. These new weapon skins have a unique 3D effect.

OPERATORS PRICE DECREASE

As with every season, High Calibre brings a price decrease for specific Operators. Nomad and Kaid are dropping to 10,000 Renown or 240 R6 Credits, Kali and Wamai are changing to 15,000 Renown or 360 R6 Credits, and Aruni will now cost 20,000 Renown or 480 R6 Credits. Take this opportunity to add them to your roster and maybe you’ll find your new main!

Sifu Matrix Mod Recreates Classic Agent Smith Clones Fight

A new Sifu Matrix mod has been made, and it recreates one of the most classic action cinema moments, as it showcases the fight between Neo and the every-replicating Agent Smiths in Matrix Reloaded! Check out the mod in action below.

https://twitter.com/naxshe22/status/1503196559130828802?s=21

This Sifu Matrix mod replaces your character with that of Neo, while pitting him against an army of Agent Smiths, essentially recreating The Matrix Reloaded’s most iconic scene. The mod itself looks incredibly clean, with much attention given even to the smallest details, including that awesome billowing of Neo’s iconic cloak.

If you’re interested in checking out the mod for yourself, you can download it via NexusMods. Created by user Halfmillz, this mod is part of many that they used in this specific instance; you will also need the ‘Agent Smith to All Enemies‘ mod which does just what the name implies. Why stop there, as you can also replace the sound effects with the ones used in The Matrix to give that authentic feel, and play the original accompanying music like that shown in the video.

In case you missed it, check out the latest patch notes for Sifu here, which added a Mandarin Chinese VO to the game.

First Watch Games has released Rogue Company update 1.94 March 15 patch, and this one is for a small hotfix for the recently released Rambo King Cobra title update! Check out the full Rogue Company March 15 patch notes below.

Rogue Company Update 1.94 Patch Notes | Rogue Company March 15 Patch Notes:

Hello Rogues!

We have deployed a hotfix to resolve the following issues:

  • Fixed an issue with Gl1tch’s Hack Ability not working properly when used.
  • Fixed an issue where players sometimes couldn’t open their Shop during the start of a match.
  • Fixed an issue with the Rambo King Cobra Event page showing “0 minutes” remaining for the in-game event.

Please be aware this hotfix will be coming to PlayStation 5 Nintendo Switch at a later time.

That’s it for the changes for this patch. Here are some of the known issues persisting as of this latest update:

KNOWN ISSUES

  • Weapons in crates tend to bounce out of the crate.
  • Human Backfill visual issue of your shop is not immediately updating upon the 2nd time viewing it. Interacting with the shop will resolve it.
  • When dead, sometimes the UI will show the health bar as “/100” instead of “0/100”
  • Talon’s Radar Dart’s red light can be seen through thin walls.
  • “Scanning” text appears while using Gl1tch’s ability.
  • Tossing a gadget while mid-emote has a chance for the gadget to be consumed but not
  • Glimpse bot will occasionally remain cloaked permanently. This is resolved in a future update.
  • Glimpse bot will occasionally remain cloaked while firing. This is resolved in a future update.

Once a new title update or new content drop is announced, we’ll let our readers know. Stay tuned by bookmarking our Rogue Company game hub.

Neverwinter Update 10.07 Slashes Out for April Fowls Event This March 15

Cryptic Studios has released the Neverwinter update 10.07 March 15 patch today, and this one is for a bunch of changes and fixes, including the addition of the April Fowls event. Check out the complete patch notes below.

Neverwinter Update 10.07 Patch Notes | Neverwinter March 15 Patch Notes:

Note: The patch size for Xbox will be larger due to some non-content updates that will allow for a reduce file size in future patches.

Events

April Fowls

  • A new Zombie Chick vanity pet has been added to the event vendor.
  • Daily quests: Defender chickens now leave when healed, so the same defender cannot be healed repeatedly for quest credit.
  • Daily quests: Since these objectives are map-wide, they no longer try to take Quest Path priority in Protector’s Enclave.
  • Fewer groups of chickens should spawn in Protector’s Enclave. In testing, this shouldn’t make daily quests significantly more difficult on average, and this should hopefully improve gameplay performance.
  • Players should no longer be unexpectedly pulled into combat while in Protector’s Enclave. However, we were unable to consistently reproduce the issue and, as a result, this fix attempt may not have been comprehensive.
  • Sewers Most Fowl: The central grate of the final arena should now be a little clearer about whether an attack warning is over it.
  • Sewers Most Fowl: The flow of the objectives in this dungeon has been refined, but should overall play similarly to before.
  • The icon for Bird Feathers has been changed to be more visually distinct from Bird Seed at all appropriate display sizes.
  • We believe we’ve resolved the issue where Protector’s Enclave grows increasingly laggy over the course of the event. However, as we were not able to reproduce this issue internally, it’s still possible that we may need to restart Protector’s Enclave every other day like in previous years.

Combat and Powers

Mount Powers

  • Coastal Flail Snail, Mossy Flail Snail, Arcane Whirlwind, and Infernal War Machine now hit a maximum of 10 targets.

Items and Economy

General

  • Astral Lockbox: The tooltip has been updated in all locales to describe its current contents.
  • The Draconic Key Ring Bundle now grants Viridian and Cerulean Helms, instead of Emerald and Azure. Players who have purchased the Draconic Key Bundle can claim one of these new helms for free from the Reward Claims Agent.
  • The title “Valindra’s Foil” is now in the “General” Category instead of the “Quests” Category of Titles.

User Interface

Loadouts

  • Swapping loadouts no longer incorrectly unequips Companion Powers.

Performance and Stability

General

  • A client crash in the powers system has been addressed.

That’s about it for the latest patch. Once a new title update or new content drop is announced, we’ll let our readers know. Stay tuned by bookmarking our Neverwinter game hub.

Dying Light 2 New Parkour Challenges Coming “Very Soon”

Techland seems to be continuing their excellent post-launch support for Dying Light 2, as more content is incoming for players. The studio announced that Dying Light 2 new parkour challenges are incoming “very soon,” though they didn’t give an exact date.

This was revealed over on Twitter, there the studio recommended that players brush up on their parkour skills by undertaking The Flying Scorpion Challenge.

While there is no definite release date just yet, at least players have something to look forward to in the coming days and weeks. Aside from the upcoming parkour challenges, Techland has also delivered on a bunch of DLC items as well, and all for free. Not only that, but the studio has also openly acknowledged that they know that gamers are looking for a New Game+ mode, and has even seeked feedback for what kind of Photo Mode options gamers want.

In case you didn’t know, a new patch for the game was rolled out last week, and it fixed the death loop bug and more! You can read the full patch notes for it right here.

GTA Online Save & Profile Migration Issues for PS5 and Xbox Series Acknowledged by Rockstar (Update)

For those excited to hop into GTA Onlne for next-gen (which is live for some people in the world), there seems to be a problem regarding migrating profiles. It seems the GTA Online save & profile migration issues have surfaced for players and it’s somehow connected to profile migration from PC.

This has been confirmed by Rockstar today, where it mentions that they are working to resolve this issue. Here’s the full announcement regarding the GTA Online profile migration issues:

Update: Rockstar has announced that migration issues have been addressed, and should be working as intended!

We’re currently working to resolve the issue with GTA Online profile migration for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S where those migrating from PS4 or Xbox One are currently blocked due to previously migrating those accounts to PC, and will update everyone once this is working as intended.

In addition to that, Rockstar has also posted this little FAQ for save migration errors.

Question: Why am I receiving the following error message saying that my GTA Online profile is not eligible for migration?

  • Alert: The GTA Online profile associated with this Rockstar Games Social Club account is not eligible for migration at this time.

Answer: Players may receive this error message for several reasons including, but not limited to:

  • The GTA Online profile is currently banned or suspended and is not eligible for migration
  • The GTA Online profile has already migrated and is no longer eligible for migration
  • Illegitimate progress was detected on the GTA Online profile and will not be eligible for migration
  • There is insufficient progress on the GTAO Online profile and it is not currently eligible for migration

Finally, if you are transferring characters to the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S versions of GTA Online, do remember that your character will be deleted on the last-gen version of the game. For those on PC, there is also no option to transfer to and from PC to the next-gen versions, too (per Reddit).

If Rockstar issues a new announcement, we’ll update the post.
