Battlefield 6 Conquest Ticket Update Applied on Oct. 15 for More “Natural Pace”

Have you seen Conquest matches in Battlefield 6 end because of the time instead of one side outright winning? If so, DICE has noticed that and has applied a Conquest ticket update today, October 15.

The change should be live as you read this, as it doesn’t require a client download, and is applied via a server-side update.

The ticket changes vary per map, and it’s outlined below.

Battlefield 6 Conquest Tickets Reduced to Make Sure Matches End With a Winner

DICE states, “We’ve reduced the starting ticket count across all Conquest maps so matches finish at a more natural pace. Previously, many rounds were hitting the time limit instead of ending when one team ran out of tickets. We’ll keep monitoring feedback and data to make sure the flow of each match feels right.”

The ticket change per map is as follows:

  • Siege of Cairo from 1000 to 900
  • Empire State from 1000 to 900
  • Iberian Offensive from 1000 to 900
  • Liberation Peak From 1000 to 800
  • Manhattan Bridge From 1000 to 800
  • Operation Firestorm From 1000 to 700
  • New Sobek City from 1000 to 900
  • Mirak Valley from 1000 to 700

As you can see, the biggest reduction is for Mirak Valley, which saw a 300-ticket decrease. Given the map’s size, this is understandable as engagements are fewer compared to the smaller maps available.

In other BF6 news, DICE has confirmed that weapon bloom will be tuned, though failed to give a proper timeline on when the patch for that will be released. If that’s not good news enough, Cronus cheaters are also getting banned, as the cheat maker tries to find a way to circumvent it.

Warframe Vallis Undermind Update Adds New Content via Patch 2.44/01.052

Digital Extremes has released the latest major update for Warframe today, and this is for The Vallis Undermind content drop.

Console players will see today’s Update 40 as Warframe update version 2.44/1.052 (complete version 1.052.000), and this brings a new Warframe in Nokko, a new early game cinematic quest, a new environment, and so much more.

Warframe’s Update for Oct. 15 Brings Vallis Undermind via Patch 2.44/1.052

New early game cinematic Quest, The Teacher, developed in collaboration with Sumo Digital. Introducing players to Warframe’s equipment modding system under the mentorship of Teshin, this Quest marks another significant step in Digital Extremes’ efforts to improve the experience for those starting their journey in the Origin System. The Teacher is accessible after completing Vor’s Prize and, upon completion, will reward players with the new Thornbak rifle. This Quest can only be completed once per account.

The 62nd Warframe, Nokko, who flaunts a mushroom-inspired ability kit and design aesthetic. Throw poisonous mushrooms that periodically release spores upon enemies while also lulling them to sleep, raise buffing mushrooms that periodically release a radial pulse upgrading allies’ defenses, transform into a baby mushroom Sprodling to heal rapidly and remain untargetable, or unleash a ballistic mushroom that explosively bounces off whatever it touches. Nokko can be earned for free by collecting the required Blueprints and resources via Nightcap Bounties, or instantly unlocked with Platinum from the Warframe Marketplace.

New environment, The Deepmines, featuring fresh bounties, new characters, and hidden lore to engage with. A new Bounty vendor, Nightcap, will offer missions that take players into the newly discovered depths of Fortuna. Report to Nightcap to record mushroom-collecting progress in his Foraging Journal to rank up for more rewards and earn Fergolyte, which can be fed to “The Prince” mushroom to unlock narrative Visions full of stories around The Deepmines, Nightcap, and Nokko. The Deepmines and Nightcap Bounties can be accessed once The New War Quest has been completed.

Highly-requested rework of Oberon with a free login reward from Oct. 15-21. The willful mystic’s rework takes advantage of a fresh passive ability that improves healing versatility, a new passive ability that negates incoming damage called Righteous Negation, improving Smite’s armor stripping ability, altering Hallowed Ground’s radius shape, buffing Renewal’s armor increase for allies, and boosting Reckoning’s overall damage impact. New cosmetics and seasonal event rewards featuring:

  • Two deluxe cosmetic skins are now available in the Warframe Marketplace. Lavos, the transmuter, will don the Khymia skin to harness the mad power of forbidden alchemy and push it beyond its limits. Wukong, the enduring, will honor his Chinese roots with the Qitian skin, embodying dignity and poise in equal measure with jade-like inspirations.

  • Six new cosmetics from TennoGen, Digital Extremes’ player design program. New offerings include the Dagath Yhavan Warframe Skin by blazingcobalt, Voruna Kuvael Drahkaanis Warframe Skin by Erniex, Dagath Voiddax Helmet by kakarrot2812, Qorvex Sarcophago Helmet by Lubox & Noxxr, as well as the Citrine Celestis Warframe Skin and Gothica Syandana backpiece by malaya, Awk’Q-Luz, & Jadie.

  • Nights of Naberus, the spooky annual in-game event, is live now until Nov. 3 with new cosmetics to earn alongside a dark twist to fan-favorite void vendor, Baro Ki’Teer, starting this Friday, Oct. 17. Baro will offer thematic, limited-time wares and a microdose of narrative each weekend via new dialogue until Nov. 9.

  • Dress for the fall season with the “Dreams of the Dead” Nightwave by completing daily, weekly, and evergreen challenges starting Oct. 27.

Sea of Stars New Update 1.14/1.014 Released on Oct. 15 Brings Fixes

Sabotage has released a new Sea of Stars update today, Oct. 15, and this brings the game to version 1.14/1.014, which is primarily for bug fixes.

Given the Throes of the Watchmaker free DLC seems to be the capping DLC to this RPG, don’t expect any new content from today’s update, though there are some important fixes for it.

Sea of Stars New Update on Oct. 15 Fixes Bugs via Patch 1.14/1.014

  • Fixed an issue during the Dweller of Dread fight where the tentacle locks were not visible when grabbing a character.
  • Resolved an audio issue where pirate songs sounded muffled in certain inns.
  • Fixed a potential crash that could occur when initiating a high five just before loading a level in local co-op.
  • Addressed a bug where some characters were missing when the game was played on computers set to the Turkish language.
  • Added a missing dialogue line when speaking to Seraï as Resh’an at the campfire before the Hydralion fight in local co-op.
  • Applied Unity Engine’s fix to security vulnerability CVE-2025-59489 on PC.
  • Re-added two lines of dialogue in Lucent before the “Garl wakes up” moment.
  • Corrected typos in both the English and Québecois versions.

I’m honestly not expecting anything new to be added to the RPG, since the developers have went above and beyond their duties in supporting the game post-launch.

If the Watchmaker DLC is the end of the game, then it ends on a high note. Our review of the free update was very positive as it said, “In the end, Throes of the Watchmaker isn’t just a bonus chapter or side story—it’s a heartfelt love letter from Sabotage Studio to the fans who fell in love with Sea of Stars. It captures everything that made the original game special while daring to explore new ideas, new places, and new emotional depths.”

V Rising October Update Applies Balance Changes via Patch 1.110

The folks at Stunlock Studios has released the V Rising October update today, and this includes more than just bug fixes.

Console players will see the patch as V Rising update 1.110 (complete version 1.110.000), and this also adds admin commands, and a big chunk of balance adjustments have been made too.

General

  • Players can no longer equip/swap passives while having the PvP buff active.

  • Players can no longer use Waygates as an Arena or Duel contestant.

  • Added admin commands to temporarily ban a player.

    • Command: BanCharacterTemp <Character Name> <#> <Minutes/Hours/Minutes/Months/Weeks/Years>

    • Command: BanUserTemp <PlayerID#>  <#> <Minutes/Hours/Minutes/Months/Weeks/Years>

  • Added admin commands to mute a player in either voice or text chat.

    • Command: SetPlayerMuted <Voice/Chat/Both> <CharacterName> <0/1>

      • Set 0 for unmuted, 1 for muted.

    • Command: SetPlayerMutedById <Voice/Chat/Both> <PlayerID#> <0/1>

Bugfixes

  • Combining the “storm” charged weapon effect gained from jewel effects on Lightning Curtain or Cyclone together with the static consume effect into stun on Veil of Storms no longer instantly stuns a target that was not affected by Static prior to getting hit. 

  • Combining the “arctic” charged weapon effect gained from the jewel effect on Cold Snap together with the chill consume effect into freeze on Veil of Frost, no longer instantly freezes a target that was not affected by Chill prior to getting hit. 

  • Combining the Veil of Illusion shield jewel effect together with Illusion Coating no longer grants a shield unless the target is already affected by weaken when striking the enemy.

  • Fixed a bug where the Frost Bat area damage jewel would override the damage of the Chillweave passive effect (increasing it up to 60% with maximum jewel tier)

  • Fixed an issue where Tendon Swing could trigger the FX incorrectly even when the attack was interrupted.

  • Fixed an issue where Tendon Swing could ignore post-cast cooldowns from other abilities.

  • Fixed an issue where the displayed Blood Quality could mismatch in different sections of the UI. 

  • Fixed an issue where Carrion Swarm could pierce walls/structures 

  • Fixed an issue where Curse projectiles could pierce walls/structures

  • Fixed an issue where Veil of Chaos would not trigger on the next Primary Attack when having high latency.

  • Fixed an issue where the skeleton “Agony” buff would only deal damage once when used on Bone Explosion (jewel effect) when multiple skeletons exploded at the same time.

  • Fixed an issue where Sword Shockwave could have multiple projectiles active through free-cast, breaking the recast.

  • Fixed an issue where a servant hunt displayed an incorrect location title.

  • Fixed a server crash that could occur during character creation.

  • Fixed Major and Minor Mortium Rift Incursion durations being flipped in the Server Settings popup.

Attributes

  • Spell Cooldown rate cap reduced to 30% from 35%.

  • Spell Leech cap reduced to 20% from 25%.

  • Bonus Spell power cap reduced to 30% from 35%.

  • Weapon Skill power cap increased to 45% from 40%.

Blood Types

Corrupted Blood

  • (90%) The shadow now only triggers on spells and not weapon skills, proc chance increased to 30% from 20% and the shadow no longer breaks crowd control effects such as incapacitate.

  • (90%) Spell and Physical charges reduced to 10 from 15.

  • (60%) Splash damage increased to 125% from 100% and no longer breaks crowd control effects such as incapacitate.

  • (60%) Attack Speed bonus reduced to 14% from 18%.

Draculin Blood

  • (0%) Reduced spell power to 12% from 14% (due to attribute cap change).

  • (30%) haste on spell hit reduced to 6% from 8%.

  • (60%) Reduced spell leech to 8% from 10% (due to attribute cap change).

  • (90%) Cooldown recovery rate from crit buff reduced to 30% from 40%.

Scholar Blood

  • (0%) Reduced spell power to 12% from 14% (due to attribute cap change).

  • (30%) Reduced spell cooldown recovery rate to 12% from 14% (due to attribute cap change).

Brute Blood

  • (90%) Parry physical damage bonus reduced to 15% from 20%.

Warrior Blood

  • (0%) Veil bonus damage increased to 40% from 30%.

  • (60%) Increased Weapon Skill Power to 18% from 16% (due to attribute cap change).

Passive Effects

Renewing Flames

  • Healing reduced to 15% from 25%.

Chillweave

  • Damage reduced to 25% from 40%.

Dark Enchantment

  • Cooldown increased to 40s from 30s.

  • Damage absorbed reduced to 250% from 270%.

Arcane Animator

  • Chance to spawn skeleton mage increased to 20% from 16%.

Overpower

  • Weapon charges increased to 8 from 6.

Soul Drinker (Rework)

Now grants 8% maximum health and heals self for 1% of your maximum health when a skeleton dies.

Hunger for Power (Rework)

Increases Spell Leech by 4%. After casting 6 consecutive spells, your damage is increased by 20% and your movement speed by 10% for 6s.

  • Trigger area damage reduced to 60% from 80%.

  • (Jewel) The effect that increases damage on your next primary attack has been reduced to 20-40% from 30-50%. 

  • (Jewel) Stealth now breaks if the player uses an ability while stealthed.

  • (Jewel) Immaterial Duration bonus reduced to 12-20% from 16-24%.

Polarity Shift

  • Casttime increased to 0.5s from 0.4s.

  • Movement speed during cast is reduced to 50% from 85%.

  • Cooldown increased to 9s from 8s.

Void

  • Casttime increased to 0.4s from 0.3s.

  • Post casttime increased to 0.3s from 0.2s.

  • Time before impact increased to 0.9s from 0.8s.

  • Reduced Fear duration on jewel effect to 0.8-1.2s from 0.8-1.6s.

Frost Bat

  • Jewel effect dealing bonus damage to chilled or frozen target reduced to 20-32% from 20-40%.

Shadowbolt

  • Damage increased to 200% from 190%.

  • (Jewel) Effect increasing damage to an enemy affected by leech increased to 40-60% from 30-50%.

Chaos Volley

  • Damage increased to 125% from 120% per bolt.

Blood Fountain

  • Healing on secondary impact increased to 85% from 75%.

  • (Jewel) Effect increasing secondary impact damage increased from 12-24% to 16-32%.

Sanguine Coil

  • Casttime reduced to 0.4s from 0.5s.

  • Projectile velocity increased to 28 from 24.

Carrion Swarm

  • Bat hitbox increased to 0.55s from 0.45s (this also makes it easier to trigger jewel effects that require all bats to hit).

  • Projectile velocity increased to 26 from 22.

  • Can now be recast to summon a second swarm of bats (Damage has been adjusted for double cast)

    • Bat damage reduced to 30% from 50%

    • Bonus damage jewel reduced to 5-10% from 8-16% 

    • Explode jewel damage reduced to 16-32% from 24-48%

    • Vampiric curse damage reduced to 30-50% from 40-60%

Rain of Chaos

  • Total damage increased to 415% from 380%.

Soulburn

  • Damage increased to 60% from 50%.

  • Cooldown reduced to 8s from 9s.

  • Casttime reduced to 0.35s from 0.4s.

  • Area increased to 3.8 from 3.6.

Unholy Chains

  • Slow effect increased to 10-40% from 10-30%.

  • Artifact version will freeze chilled enemies with the spin attack, as well as the returning projectile.

Sweeping Strike (E)

  • Tweaks to cast rotation to improve aiming.

Axes

Frenzy (Q)

  • Attack speed buff duration increased to 1.5s from 1.3s

Claws

Lunge (Q) – Slight Rework 

  • Damage reduced to 90% from 120%.

  • Post cast duration reduced to 0.3s from 0.4s.

  • May now be recast once after hitting an enemy.

Skewering Leap (E)

  • Incap duration increased to 1.2s from 1.0s.

  • Self-stun duration on miss reduced to 0.45s from 0.7s.

Longbow

Guided Arrow (E)

  • Casttime reduced to 0.8s from 1s.

(Artifact) Oaksong

  • Multishot now also inflicts Static (still applies one stack of focus per hit).

  • Guided Arrow no longer deals bonus damage or stuns when fully charged, now instead inflicts a 0.5s stun on the initial hit if the target is affected by Static.

Pistols

Fan the Hammer (Q)

  • Can now move at 35% speed while channeling the attack.

  • Channeling duration reduced to 1.3s from 1.5s (increasing firing rate).

  • Cone size reduced by ~50% making the spread less random.

  • Reduced the knockback on bullet hit slightly.

  • The Endbringers now increase movement speed while channeling to 50% (previously 40%).

Explosive Bullet (E)

  • Reduced Impact damage to 115% from 125%.

  • Reduced the damage on Enbringers (Artifact) when consuming explosive shot into a chaos explosion to 50% from 75%.

Crossbow

(Artifact Rework) The Siren’s Wail

    • Consuming Marked deals 10% bonus damage and inflicts Weaken.

  • Movement forward during the follow-up attack was tweaked to fix an unintended collider offset

  • Fading snare duration reduced to 1.5s from 2s.

  • Damage reduction on elusive strike changed to -30% from -20%.

Spear

A Thousand Spears (Q)

  • Reduced the move distance when stepping forward during the cast to 1.25 from 2.

  • Increased cooldown to 9s from 8s.

  • Increased Thrust recast time to 0.3s from 0.25s.

I have to admit, this is a bigger patch than expected. If Stunlock releases another patch in November, expect it here on MP1st.

Capcom has begun rolling out Street Fighter 6 update 1.000.0023 (1.23 on last-gen) across all platforms. This is a major update, as it adds a new character, C. Viper, as well as bringing new DLC cosmetics, a collab, and much more.

Granblue Fantasy Versus Rising Update 2.30 Brawls Out This Oct. 14

Granblue Fantasy Versus Rising update 2.30 is now available, and with it, so is Meg, the latest DLC fighter. Along with a new character, this update is loaded with changes, including bug fixes, fighter balancing, and more.

New DLC Character

• Meg has been added as a playable character.

• Meg has been added as a Premium Avatar.

• A music track, weapon skins, badges, trophies, card design, sticker, weapon cutout, Figure Studio poses and expressions, and crew icon for Meg have been added.

Meg must be unlocked as a playable character to access these features (except stickers and crew icons).

• Meg has been added to the Rupie Shop under Special Content.

Purchases made via the Special Content tab do not come with a bonus serial code.

 (PS5/PS4 only) Meg Purchase Bonus has been added to the Serial Codes screen in the Options menu.

Bug Fixes and Other Changes

 (Steam only) Fixed an issue in the online lobby where matching up with another player while adjusting volume in Sound Settings while on standby at a station in training mode would cause the game’s volume to not match in-game settings.

• Fixed a portion of the voices used during Versusia’s SBA, Yomotsu.

• Fixed the description within the command list for Vira’s SBA, Punishment Ray.

• Fixed an issue during online matches where the EX and SP color variants of weapon skins would not display correctly during the first round after randomly selecting a character with Lunalu.

• The invincibility for Ladiva’s  Headbutt of Love unintentionally remained until the end of the action, so armored time has been reduced.

Invincibility will now end at the end of active frames regardless of whether armor activates.

• Invincibility for Ladiva’s  Headbutt of Love now ends at the same time that armor activates.

• In instances where Ladiva’s  Headbutt of Love hits prior to armor activation, Ladiva will be invincible until the end of the action.

• Fixed an issue with Ferry where Far Standing  would whiff if the foe acted on the first possible frame after waking up from being hit by Whip It Good ( Gespenst follow-up).

• Ferry’s  Gespenst now only hits the foe when pulling them in.

This is to prevent it from locking onto partner characters such as Elsam, Tomoi, Death, and Mari.

• Fixed an issue with Eustace where  Rat Race dealt damage twice in certain situations after detonating the bomb with Dead-End Fall.

• Fixed an issue with Beelzebub where knockback from  Karma would behave erratically under certain circumstances.

• Fixed an issue with Nier where Death would perform an action with a recovering Love Redemption gauge if a skill command was input right as Death was about to end standby.

• Fixed an issue with Nier where executing a skill at a certain timing during Jumping  would allow Nier to use the same skill again during a chain of Death actions.

• 2B’s A090: Wire now only locks on to the foe.

This is to prevent it from locking onto partner characters such as Elsam, Tomoi, Death, and Mari.

• The following skills can no longer be performed with a final input that is anything other than neutral and  when using technical inputs.

Valorant Update 1.000.055 Released for Version 11.08 on Consoles

Riot Games has released the version 11.08 Valorant patch on consoles, which will show up to players as update version 1.000.055.

This brings the end-of-year balance patch, so expect a meatier changelog than usual.

GENERAL UPDATES

  • Our end of year balance patch is meant to adjust how our maps, weapons, and agents work together. The tuning pass in this patch is designed to reinforce what we call “the competitive dialogue”-the round-to-round exchange between attackers and defenders that rewards adaptation and strategy.
  • Over time, as player skill and ability impact have grown, uncoordinated utility has at times felt just as impactful as well-executed, strategic plays. This has reduced meaningful opportunities for counterplay and diminished the strategic depth we aim for in VALORANT. These changes are focused on striking a healthy balance between gunplay and the abilities that make VALORANT its own unique flavor of tactical shooter.

AGENT UPDATES

General

  • The agent updates this patch are focused around how we can support higher mastery around ability usage. We want to allow your gunplay to do the talking, while you use abilities strategically and intentionally to gain advantages. These changes should reward players who use abilities well in the right time and place. Additionally, we’re also reducing the size of some of the largest ultimate abilities.
  • We’re also aiming to create more consistency across the game’s various debuffs, making it easier to build muscle memory when playing with or against effects like Nearsight, Concuss, and Stims.

Initiators

Initiators are intended to be the go-to agents for breaking angles and creating openings for their team. With this update, we’re adjusting how often they can use their signature abilities within a round. These abilities should remain impactful, but now demand more coordination and deliberate timing to unlock their full value.

Flashes have always been a critical tool for challenging angles, and in a world with less frequent signature abilities, we want them to retain the power needed to start fights. To support that, we’ve increased the strength of Initiator flashes so they remain reliable tools for setting up engagements.

Duelists

Most Duelist gameplay is in a healthy state, so we’re making minor tunings. We want stuns and slows to feel rewarding when they lead to kills, so we’re making adjustments that will reward precise timing and well-coordinated ability combos.

    • We’ve seen a notable rise in Yoru mastery, but his kit has become so effective it can overshadow other Duelists, and even some Initiators. We’re making changes to make his tools a bit more selfish and encourage coordinated team plays to achieve his potential.

      • Health decreased from 60 → 20
      • Audio now plays from Yoru’s location when Yoru teleports or fakes it
    • Fakeout
      • Flash duration decreased from 3s → 2s
    • Blindside
      • Flash duration decreased from 1.75s → 1.5s
      • Flash now follows the standard flash falloff curves as other Agents. Previously, Yoru’s flashes that were slightly offscreen were more effective than intended
    • Dimensional Drift
      • Yoru can no longer cast Blindside, or set up his fakeout during Dimensional Drift
      • He can still cast the initial Gatecrash and reactivation, as well as reactivation of Fakeouts
  • Raze
    • Blast Pack
      • Raze can now affected by Slows while midair with Blast Pack
      • If Slowed, the force from Blast Pack will be reduced, similar to how slows affect other Dashes

Controllers were largely in a healthy state and required few changes, though some abilities have been adjusted to align with recent roster-wide updates.

Sentinels

Sentinels are premier at defending territory, but we think there can be more room for dialogue between attackers and defensive Sentinel utilities. These adjustments aim to make it easier to take advantage of intended counterplay while sharpening each Sentinel’s unique identity. We’re also reducing the health of some of the tankier shootables to make them sponge less of your bullets.

  • Vyse
    • Vyse has been great at stalling and punishing enemies that move recklessly through her space but countering her has been more difficult than intended. We’re adjusting Shear and Arc Rose’s counterplay rules to make them simpler and more consistent for enemies to perform.

      • Arc Rose is now destructible after the flash windup starts rather than being invulnerable.
      • When enemy players are successfully flashed, the audio cue and voiceline alerting Vyse and her allies is removed
      • Flash duration decreased from 2.25s → 2.0s
      • Cooldown are slightly adjusted
        • After destruction, cooldown is increased from 45s → 60s
        • Recalling the ability will now always incur a 20s cooldown
    • Shear
      • Wall Trap trigger logic has been reworked to make it easier to bait out. The wall now spawns immediately when an enemy enters and then leaves its trigger zone. Enemies will also hear an audio cue, audible only to them, when they enter the trigger zone
    • Razorvine
      • Health decreased from 40 → 20
    • Steel Garden
      • Initial windup increased from 3.4s → 4.4s
      • Radius decreased from 32.5m → 26m
  • Cypher
    • We’re asking Cypher players to be craftier with their camera placements and focus on his role as a surveillance network master. Enemies will now see and hear a Spycam when it is nearby, similar to Vyse’s Arc Rose. Trapwire has been adjusted to be less lethal, though Cypher can still convert to a kill when they are disrespected.

        • Inactive camera will be revealed to enemies when you are within 8 meter radius of the camera, and will also have an accompanying audio tell

      • Trapwire zap no longer concusses its target. Instead, it will slow + reveal its target for 1 second.
  • Killjoy
    • We’re increasing the counterplay around Killjoy’s range restricted utilities, giving enemies more tells to maneuver around unattended utilities and asking KJ to make a sharper call on when to keep her utility active and when to reposition away from them.

      • Cooldown when destroyed increased from 45s → 60s
      • Reactivation time for turret increased from 0.5s → 2s
      • Turret movement tagging per bullet increased 29.5% >>> 50%
      • NEW: Added a “windup” effect when Killjoy first re-enters the activation range

      • Health decreased from 50 to 20
      • Reactivation time increased from 1s → 2s
      • NEW: Added a “windup” effect when Killjoy first re-enters the activation range
  • Deadlock

MAP UPDATES

  • In general, our focus for this patch was to encourage more on-site play for both teams, and to make planting for main more risky and predictable.
  • Pearl
    • Defending post-plant positions from B Main should remain a viable strategy, but it’s become overly difficult for defenders to retake the site, particularly when utility is in play. To address this, we’re making the following changes:
      • B-Site
        • Removed the deep sightline from B Long – This angle provided too much control over the site from a safe distance
        • Adjusted cover positioning on and around the site – These changes will encourage more direct engagements on the site itself
  • Abyss
    • Seeing the map evolve over the last year, we’ve observed many prominent strategies emerge and identified areas that could be improved, mainly focused on strengthening defensibility and improving pathing
    • B-Site
      • Site Changes – Currently both teams are having a tough time playing on-site-Defenders struggle with the initial site hold, while Attackers have difficulty holding the spike during post-plant and feel forced to plant for main. We want to take a pass at improving on-site play for both teams while also making post-plants for main more risky.
    • Mid
      • Mid Hallway Changes – We want to help open up quicker macro pathing options for both teams. We’re adjusting the hallway in Mid that leads towards B Main to allow for improved flow through the map for both teams.
  • MAP POOL UPDATES
    • PEARL and SPLIT are IN the COMPETITIVE and DEATHMATCH queues.
    • LOTUS and ASCENT are OUT of the COMPETITIVE and DEATHMATCH queues.

WEAPONS UPDATES

Our goal is for VALORANT’s gunplay to feel rewarding to master with exciting weapon choices, allowing for players to express their playstyles in how they take fights. Each weapon in our arsenal should feel they have a unique identity with their own strengths and weaknesses and though the arsenal has felt like it’s overall pretty healthy, we want to make sure we continue to push on making weapons feel like competitive choices for different scenarios and round economy states.

PC ONLY

  • Rifles
    • We’ve noticed that tap strafing has been generally the most viable shooting style. We want the decision between tapping, bursting, and spraying to feel more balanced and a more meaningful optimization. We are making some minor adjustments to spraying rifles to make them more of a viable option for fights at the close and mid ranges.
    • A quick definition for those of you who may not know-
      • % chance of yaw switch: % chance the gun will swap horizontal recoil from one side to the other (left vs right from your crosshair)
      • Yaw switch time: how quickly the gun swaps horizontal recoil from one side to the other. When yaw switch time increases, this means you have more time to counteract the recoil
      • Protected bullet counts: how many bullets in a spray you can use before your gun has a chance of yaw switch
    • Bulldog
      • Horizontal (Yaw) switch time increased from 0.37s → 0.6s<
      • Chance for horizontal (Yaw) to switch increased from 6% → 10%
    • Phantom
      • Horizontal (Yaw) switch time increased from 0.37s → 0.6s
      • Chance for horizontal (Yaw) to switch increased from 6% → 10%
      • Protected bullet count increased from 6 → 8 bullets
    • Vandal
      • Horizontal (Yaw) switch time increased from 0.37s → 0.6s
      • Chance for horizontal (Yaw) to switch increased from 6% → 10%
      • Protected bullet count increased from 4 → 6 bullets
  • Submachine guns
    • We’re making some changes to SMGs to make the Spectre a more appealing purchase over the Stinger in some scenarios, while also increasing the mastery needed to control the weapon when trying to punch up in eco rounds.

      • Total spread reduced from 1.5 → 1.3
      • Tap Efficiency increased from 2 → 3
        • Tap Efficiency determines the rate that inaccuracy is accrued when re-firing prior to waiting for the complete duration of a weapon’s respective Gun Recovery Time. The higher the Tap Efficiency, the lower the rate of inaccuracy accrual
      • Horizontal (Yaw) switch time increased from 0.18s → 0.28s
      • Protected bullet count increased from 4 → 5 bullets
    • Stinger
      • Full Auto
      • Total spread increased from 1.3 → 1.5
      • Total spread accrued faster from 7 bullets → 6 bullets
      • Vertical (Pitch) recoil curve increases more aggressively
        • Total recoil is unchanged

CONSOLE ONLY

  • Spectre
    • Horizontal (Yaw) switch time increased from 0.20s → 0.28s
  • Stinger

COMPETITIVE UPDATES

  • Starting in 11.09, accounts detected for sharing must enable Riot Mobile multi-factor authentication (MFA) to access Competitive queue. Other modes will remain unaffected.

GAMEPLAY SYSTEMS UPDATES

  • We’ve improved how Placeable Abilities like Cypher’s Spycam and Deadlock’s Sound Sensor previews when placing in our maps. All previews will now better align to the eventual location of your ability.
    • We have not added or removed any placement options, we have only made our previews more accurate. This is especially so for Deadlock’s Sound Sensor, which will see the biggest preview change, moving away from the current snappy behavior, to a more smooth preview.

PLAYER BEHAVIOR UPDATES

  • Added “Rank Manipulation” as a new reporting category.
    • Please use ‘Rank Manipulation’ instead of ‘Cheating’ to report players who abuse matchmaking. This encompasses behaviors we commonly know as smurfing, wintrading, and boosting.

PC ONLY

PREMIER UPDATES

  • Welcome to Stage V25A6!
    • At the end of this Stage, the top 16 teams in Invite will remain in Invite. All other Invite teams will be demoted at the start of the next Stage. These rules are listed on the Standings tab.
    • Demoted teams will seed into the zone they originally promoted from. Next Stage, Team Owners can change their zone in the Team Settings dropdown anytime before the team plays a match.
    • If your team cannot be placed into a zone at the start of the next Stage, your Team Owner will be prompted to select a zone.
    • Divisions other than Invite will not have demotion, and teams will still be promoted or be seeded into a division as normal at the start of next Stage.
  • Contender Eligibility updates
    • Contender Eligibility for 2025 expires at the end of Stage V25A6.
    • To be Contender Eligible in 2026, you must perform a qualifying action in Stage V25A6 or at any point in 2026.
    • Qualifying actions include:
      • Play a Weekly or Playoff match on a team in Contender or Invite Division.
      • Reach Immortal 3 or higher peak rank in Competitive.
      • Play in a Playoff match in Elite 5.
      • Contender Eligibility for 2026 expires at the end of 2026.
  • VCT Team Tags
    • Starting this patch, we’re expanding the Team Tag feature to include tags for VCT teams! Pros will now have their team’s tag shown before their name throughout the client – in the social panel, in lobby, in game (like the killfeed), and on the Competitive Leaderboards!
    • VCT team names and tags are reserved ONLY for VCT partnered teams.
      • Current Premier teams that have a team name and/or tag of a VCT partnered team will receive a prompt in-game for their Team Owner to change their team name.

Given the patch’s scope, don’t be surprised to see a follow-up update get released by Riot.

Battlefield 6 Weapon Bloom to Be Tuned, Hit Registration Issues Being Investigated by DICE

If you’ve been playing Battlefield 6, chances are, you’ve noticed some weird things happening when it comes to gunfights — especially at a distance.

For some reason, some bullets, even when your crosshair is dead center, won’t hit their target, and this is something that’s common in most Battlefield games, and it’s called “bloom” or otherwise known as dispersion.

Bloom in Battlefield refers to a weapon’s random bullet spread, which makes bullets deviate from the exact point of aim. This is particularly noticeable for rapid fire and represents a separate stat from recoil.

Battlefield 6 players are getting frustrated because the bloom in the game seems to have been overtuned, making gunfights at a distance more of a toss-up rather than just relying on skill.

Battlefield 6 Weapon Bloom Is Indeed Broken Confirmed by DICE

As it turns out, the community was right about this! It seems the Battlefield 6 weapon bloom is indeed not behaving as intended. This was confirmed by Principal Game Designer Florian Le Bihan in answering a tweet from content creator TacticalBrit.

When shroud commented about bloom and the beta, Le Bihan replied, “The Beta bug was actually fixed but we’ve identified another issue (two in fact) that impacts dispersion/bloom in an unintended way and will cause you to have more dispersion at times.”

The developer added, “The team is working on this and we’re looking at general balance/tuning of dispersion too.”

In another tweet, Le Bihan also confirmed an issue when it comes to hit registration wherein the target is visibly hit, with blood splatters and all, but no damage is confirmed in the HUD, or there’s no hit indicator. Check it out how this is bugged in the video shared by Le Bihan.

Le Bihan commented, “We’re currently investigating this issue. It is commonly observed with the target being visibly hit (blood splatters) but no damage is confirmed in the HUD (no hit indicator etc…)”

Unfortunately, there’s no timetable on when we can expect these to be fixed, but we’re hoping it’ll be before Season 1 drops on October 28. Aside from bloom, there are a number of issues DICE is aware of, and we’re hoping these get fixed soon as well.

In other Battlefield 6 news, Cronus users are getting banned in the game, and even the cheat’s developer has asked cheaters not to use it for the time being.

Speaking of Season 1, the slate of content has been revealed, and it will surely come with a massive title update. We’re hoping that the patch rolled out for it includes adjustments, bug fixes and more.

Overwatch 2 Season 19 Update Ushers Haunted Masquerade Mode via Patch 4.12/1.000.076

Blizzard Entertainment has ushered in Season 19 of Overwatch 2 today, and this brings the Haunted Masquerade mode.

This is also brings the yearly Halloween content into the game, as well as hero balance changes and more.

Players should see this appear as Overwatch 2 update 4.12/1.000.076, and expect this to be a big download, with an even bigger patch notes list.

Overwatch 2 Season 19 Update Now Live via Patch 4.12/1.000.076

  • Wear the mask of other Heroes in the Haunted Masquerade mode, gaining unique buffs that can turn the tide of battle. Fan-favorite seasonal modes Junkenstein’s Revenge and Wrath of the Bride have also returned.
  • Outside of the terror-ific modes, Season 19 brings major Stadium updates, including a revamped Armory with streamlined tabs, filters, and search tools; the introduction of Torbjörn, Hazard, and Sojourn; and an entirely new feature: Gadgets. Select your Gadget and deploy it once per match to create tide-turning moments.
  • The Battle Pass includes a range of creepy costumes for your Heroes, including Legendary Oni Cassidy, Mermonster Wuyang, Vampire Moira, Ninja Sombra, and One-eyed Wilheim Reinhardt.
  • Epic skins like Cursed Woods Echo, Cursed Teddy Zenyatta, and Cursed Candle Torbjörn round out the ghastly list. The Ultimate Battle Pass adds 20 Tier Skips, 2,000 Overwatch Coins, plus Vampire Kiriko and R-7K Preserver Ramattra Legendary.
  • You can use your Mythic Prisms to unlock Divine Druid Lifeweaver Mythic Skin, a radiant guardian reborn in glowing Biolight, and Kiriko’s Spirit Keeper Mythic Weapon Skin, kunai that blaze with spectral foxfire and ancient flame. A second Mythic Skin, Cyber Fuel Junkrat, will arrive mid-season.
  • Finally, if you still haven’t decided on your Halloween costume, the shop features Archangel skins for Mercy, Freja, Genji, Baptiste, Pharah, and Sigma, available now through October 27. Picking up from there, October 28 through November 10 brings the Spirit Collection, which includes skins drawn from folklore for Kiriko, Ashe, Reaper, Widowmaker, and Roadhog.

Tank Hero Masks

Orisa

  • Decreases knockback applied to you. Decreases debuff duration on you.
  • Sojourn Only: Gain the ability to attach Disruptor Orb to allied Orisa.

Ramattra Mask

  • Slow any nearby enemies by 30%.
  • Zenyatta Only: Applying Orb of Discord to allied Ramattra in Nemesis Form also applies it to enemies near him. Does not cause allied Ramattra to take additional damage.

Reinhardt Mask

  • Gain 50 armor. Increases melee damage.
  • Brigitte Only: Increases Brigitte shield size and durability when they are in close proximity.

Roadhog Mask

  • Gain the ability to heal yourself by 100 health every 30 seconds.
  • Junkrat Only: Concussion Mine explosions douse enemies with gasoline. Any explosion damage within 10 seconds ignites them.

Winston Mask

  • Melee damage now knocks enemies back.
  • Tracer Only: Gain the ability to attach her Pulse Bomb to allied Winston. Either Winston or Tracer can detonate it.

Genji Mask

  • Gain the ability to double jump.
  • Hanzo Only: Any enemy hit by an allied Genji’s Swift Strike or Dragonblade is marked. Shots home toward marked enemies.

Hanzo Mask

  • The farther the enemy, the more damage dealt to them.
  • Genji Only: Gain the ability to activate Hanzo’s Dragonstrike during Dragonblade. Doing so will cancel the rest of Dragonblade.

  • Enemies explode on death.

  • Increases damage against nearby enemies by 25%.
  • Juno Only: Pulsar Torpedoes now freeze any target slowed by an allied Mei for 1.5 seconds.

  • Dealing damage heals you.
  • Moira Only: Gain the ability to attach Biotic Orb to Reaper when it is close to him.

  • Dealing critical damage generates 50% additional ultimate charge.
  • Orisa Only: Energy Javelin now creates Sojourn’s Disruptor Orb on environmental impact.

  • Increases your attack speed.

  • Dealing melee damage to enemies heals nearby allies.
  • Reinhardt Only: When Inspired by allied Brigitte, Charge explodes on impact. Inspired status stacks up to 3 times, increasing explosion damage and radius.

Juno Mask

  • Holding jump lets you hover midair.
  • Mei Only: When Ice Wall comes into contact with Juno’s Orbital Ray, creates a Blizzard.

Lifeweaver Mask

  • Deal additional damage while airborne or on Lifeweaver’s Petal Platform.
  • Symmetra Only: Turrets can now also target allies, granting armor over time.

Mercy Mask

  • Increases your base health by 20%.
  • Torbjörn Only: Turret now applies toggleable healing or damage boost to allies within range.

Moira Mask

  • Constantly regenerate health. Eliminations increase regen rate for 10 seconds.
  • Reaper Only: Increases movement speed and jump height during Wraith Form.

Zenyatta Mask

  • Applies a mini Orb of Harmony to you.
  • Ramattra Only: Gain the ability to detonate allied Zenyatta’s Orbs of Discord. Their explosions damage nearby enemies and apply a temporary Orb of Discord to them.

Hero Mastery Mode

  • The Hero Mastery mode and courses are no longer available to play.

Team Text Chat

  • New Options added to Social → Text Chat
  • The color of each existing Text Chat Channel (Whisper/Group/Team/Match) can now be set. These default to their existing colors.
  • The color Comms/Pings can now be set.
  • Tabbing through each of the potential text chat channels includes a small new visual element to indicate that the channel has changed.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle Update 1.010 Rolled Out for Fixes

MachineGames has released a hotfix for Indiana Jones and the Great Circle after releasing the big Anniversary Update last week.  As one might expect, this patch is a minor one that focuses on fixes rather than anything else.

For console gamers, this should show up as Indiana Jones and the Great Circle update 1.010 (complete version 1.010.000), and this small download targets specific issues.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle’s New Update on Oct. 14 Brings Fixes

This small hotfix addresses some issues in the MachineGames Anniversary Update!

  • Fixed an issue where the “Exit Game” main menu option disappeared during certain situations
  • Fixed a journal related issue that occurred within The Order of Giants DLC side quests

That’s about it for fixes. If you haven’t logged in for the Anniversary Update, it included the following new content:

New Game+

The highly-anticipated New Game+ mode is coming to the game! With the release of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle: The Order of Giants DLC, now is the perfect time to jump back into the game and experience the story all over again.

Cairo Outfit

Looking to cool off in the sweltering heat of Gizeh or the humid temples of Sukhothai? With the Anniversary Update, all players can unlock a free new Indy outfit inspired by his classic, jacket-free Cairo look in “Raiders of the Lost Ark™.” To don this “cooler” look, visit the Outfit tab in the Options menu. This outfit can be worn by Indy whenever he isn’t wearing a disguise, unless the level requires a special outfit, such as in Marshall College or Nepal.

Destiny 2 Update 9.1.5.1 Released for Version 3.77/1.172

Bungie has released Destiny 2’s latest update, which the developers call version 9.1.5.1. for those on consoles, you’ll see this download appear as version 3.77/1.172.

This brings bug fixes and, more importantly, depreciates Unstable Cores.

Power and Progression

Unstable Cores

  • Last week, we announced that Unstable Cores would not reset with the launch of Destiny 2: Renegades on December 2, 2025. We noted in the TWID that we would provide future updates on how we would rebalance the economy of this currency.We have landed on a plan to fully deprecate this currency. Once deprecated, infusion will cost an amount of Enhancement Cores and Glimmer.Overall, we’ve found that Unstable Cores have been too restrictive across power levels and fail to drive interesting buildcraft decisions, whether they be powering up through Campaign missions and wanting to try different weapons, or going into Endgame content and looking to infuse lower-level gear to higher power levels.

    We don’t have an exact patch for this change just yet but are working rapidly to align on a target date. In the short term, we have two items of note shipping today with Destiny 2 Update 9.1.5.1.

    Our goal is to help players with smaller amounts of unstable cores infuse gear alongside Power and Progression changes going live tomorrow until the currency can be retired:

    • We have added a one-time reward of 777,777 Unstable Cores to the catch-up chest that will be available in the Tower today at reset. We highly recommend signing in and using these before they’re removed!
    • We are shipping a minor change that reduces the number of Unstable Cores needed for infusion at higher power levels until they are deprecated.

    We will provide additional updates when available.

Reward Power

  • Reward Power has been improved across both PvE and PvP Portal content. For details, check out the 9/25 TWID.
    • The Edge of Fate activity rewards are also getting a small buff from 200-300 Power.
    • Seasonal Hub rewards are getting a slight improvement to make them more consistent from 400-500 Power. .

Techsec Supply Drop

  • A chest of Vanguard-sanctioned armaments calibrated to prepare all Guardians for the Call to Arms event is now available in the Tower near Zavala.
  • The chest contains a set of Tier 3 armor and weapons as well as Enhancement Cores, bringing recipients up to 300 Power.
  • The chest can be claimed once per account until the end of Season 27.
  • The chest will be available to all players though those under Guardian Rank 4 will be cautioned that they should be accustomed with the game’s combat and systems before opening it as the equipment will advance their Portal activities to Master difficulty.

Armor

  • Fixed an issue where Armor 2.0 copies of Young Ahamkhara’s Spine did not count as featured gear.
  • Fixed an issue where the Iron Panoply Warlock gauntlets could obscure the screen.

Weapons

Traits

  • Fixed an issue where the charge time Masterwork didn’t provide additive stats based on gear tier.
    • Note: Charge Rate can’t boost itself further unlike some other stats as the value proposition of +10 is already significantly better than other Masterwork options for many Fusion Rifles.
  • Enhanced Reservoir Burst has had its stability removed and increased magazine stat returned.

Exotic Weapons

Alethonym

  • Fixed an issue where Alethonym projectiles weren’t counting as micro-missiles.

Abilities

Glacial Harvest

  • Fixed an issue where Glacial Harvest still had a cooldown in PvE.

Ensnaring Slam

  • The Class stat overshield now triggers on Ensnaring Slam activation.

Weavewalk

  • Weavewalk now grants woven mail if exited via finisher.

Gameplay Modifiers

Volatile Shields

  • Shortly after your shield breaks, you now regain the ability to attack with weapons (excluding Swords).
  • While your shield is broken, you now gain Devour.

Activities

Portal

  • Power adjustment has been removed from all Challenge modifiers. Instead, players are capped in effective Power in each tier.
  • Grades are now based on the number of green and red arrows applied via modifiers, banes, boons, and player stakes as well as activity and highest player Power level.
  • All chests after the first mid-activity chest in Onslaughts, The Coil, and Contest of Elders now drop loot based on your projected score (plus 5% for the timer) for both Power and gear tier. End-of-activity rewards have been adjusted to account for this.
  • Players will no longer have difficulty tiers automatically selected for them until they meet the Power level of the activity.
  • All Conquests have had their time limits increased to match their Portal counterparts, based on the specific tier.
  • All Bonus Drops now get Power matching the other scored engrams that drop at the same time.
  • Bonus Portal drops awarded from Hub Daily Objectives moved to Hub Weekly Objectives so that players don’t have to log in each day to optimize their Power gain.
    • Each of the five Weekly Objectives rewards the player four Bonus Portal Drops upon claiming.
    • To keep the total number of Bonus Drops equivalent, the number of Weekly Login Bonus Drops has been increased from five to six.
  • Since a vast majority of players will be at 300 Power or above going forward due the Techsec Supply Drop chest (details below), Normal, Advanced, and Expert Quickplay nodes have been removed as has the Expert Matchmaking tier from direct launch so that you can find players when you try to matchmake. This new node has been adjusted so that anyone from 10-399 Power can earn good rewards from it.
    • Additionally, we have tweaked the modifiers available on this new Quickplay playlist to be more amenable to this wider population. (If you want to see if Volatile Shields or Haste was removed, you will just have to check for yourself.)
  • Fixed an issue with the Heliostat Exotic Mission where fireteam members would sometimes fail to be pulled into an encounter.
  • Fixed an issue where shanks could spawn in a closed vent in the Fallen S.A.B.E.R. strike boss room when the Caltrops bane is active, causing a soft lock.
  • Fixed an issue where the Contest of Elders activity couldn’t reach a score of 10,000 and end-of-activity chest rewards were being sent directly to the Postmaster.
  • Fixed an issue where the Nightfall activity node could sometimes not be launched.
  • Fixed an issue where players could be unable to respawn without being immediately downed when respawning in Duality Lair during the Gahlran encounter.

Reclaim

  • Mid-activity chests have been added to all three variants of Reclaim.

The Desert Perpetual

  • Epic Koregos now uses its beam attack during DPS phases.
  • Epic Koregos’ detain bubble is properly removed from players when destroyed.
  • Epic Koregos’ portal mechanics are disabled as intended during final stand.
  • Epic Agraios’ phase limit feat allows for two encounter loop damage phases in addition to final stand.
  • Iatros’ hourglass is reset at the end of each encounter loop as intended, preventing an immediate wipe to Neomutation.
  • Fixed a bug with the Whirling Ovation Catalyst drop rate.
    • Attuning to the Catalyst will now guarantee it on the next The Desert Perpetual encounter clear.

UI/UX

Power Communication

  • Activities that use the Activity Power Cap system will now display Combatant Power in addition to the Activity Power Cap in tooltips and other pre-launch displays.
    • In the Customization screen for activities that use the Activity Power Cap system, your Power (including Fireteam Power adjustments, capped at the Activity Power Cap) will be presented alongside Combatant Power.
    • Tooltips for customizable Portal activity difficulties will present the Activity Power Cap for that difficulty. Reverted the entirety of the Stronghold rework from Update 9.1.0.

General

  • Updated the Guardian Rank 6 objective that required the Third Iteration weapon to also progress with the New Malpais weapon.
  • Fixed an issue where new Chronologs could be lost if acquired or claimed while the stack of Chronologs was in the Vault. Chronologs lost due to this issue will be replaced at a later date.
  • Fixed an issue where players above 500 Power couldn’t claim clan engrams from Hawthorne.

This is a huge update that reshapes the game’s economy somewhat. If Bungie releases another one, expect it here on MP1st.

Rainbow Six Siege X Update Y10S3.03 Applies Balancing Changes via Patch 3.12/1.000.117

The latest Rainbow Six Siege X update is live now, and this brings the Y10S3.03 patch for balance changes. Console players should see today’s download as Rainbow Six Siege X update 3.12/1.000.117, and this should be a relatively small download.

Alongside balance changes, there are also bug fixes related to operators and the user experience.

JÄGER

We are boosting Jäger’s secondary options by including a handgun with sights. This change should add versatility to the loadout and a more reliable mid-range secondary for players that want to use the M870 as primary weapon.

LOADOUT

  • Secondary weapons:

BANDIT

Hitting exterior soft walls before reinforcing is a common tactic used to improve sound propagation, allowing defenders inside the objective to better anticipate enemy movements outside. Bandit has traditionally lacked a reliable secondary weapon to perform this kind of setup independently. With the introduction of the Keratos .357, Bandit gains the ability to create his own openings on exterior walls, enhancing his self-sufficiency during the preparation phase and reducing reliance on teammates for early-round destruction.

LOADOUT

  • Secondary weapons:
    • Added Keratos .357

SOLIS

Solis’ use of her ability has not improved after the latest changes, players don’t get enough benefit from it and we want to deal with this. We are reviewing her ability configuration and buffing a few parameters. The range of her ability will be increased along with its Overclock duration. We are also bringing the Impact Grenades back into her loadout to make her a more versatile roamer.

SPEC-IO

  • Detection Range set to 20m (was 12m).
  • Overclock Duration set to 15s (was 10s).
  • Minimum SPEC-IO charge to activate the ability se to 25% (was 50%).

LOADOUT

  • Gadgets:
    • Added Impact Grenades and Removed Bullet Proof Camera.

DENARI

After statistical analysis and player feedback on Denari, we’ve decided to revert some of the changes from previous patches. We can admit they may have been done too hastily, so we have reverted the damage change and reconnection delay. In addition, the Glaive-12 has not performed the way we expected, and it is receiving a package of buffs to make the weapon more viable in gunfights.

We’ve also taken in and understand feedback about its ability to create rotation holes feeling tedious. While slug shotguns can be used for rotation holes, the Glaive-12 primarily compliments Denari’s T.R.I.P. connectors for precise lines of sight, foot holes and head holes.

T.R.I.P. CONNECTOR

  • T.R.I.P. connector laser deals 20 damage.
  • T.R.I.P. connectors reconnect instantly after having their line of sight blocked.

GLAIVE-12

  • Damage increased to 67 (was 63).
  • Damage range drop-off increased up to 15 meters to match other slug shotguns.
  • Improved recoil and first shot recoil (PC and Console).
  • Total ammunition increased to 44 (was 29).
  • Hip fire accuracy increased to match other slug shotguns.

BUG FIXES

OPERATORS

  • FIXED – Alibi’s Prisma prevents the formation of Denari’s T.R.I.P. Connector laser network.
  • FIXED – Goyo’s Volcan Canister deploy animation doesn’t display properly when in rappel.
  • FIXED – Iana’s Gemini Replicator is not affected by Denari’s T.R.I.P. Connector laser network.

USER EXPERIENCE

  • FIXED – Montagne’s MTG MK.II portrait art is shown on top of the operator card thumbnail in the Appearance menu of the Operator Album.
  • FIXED – Moderated voice chat transcripts aren’t present for Playstation®5 consoles.
  • FIXED – Door is missing from the tactical map during the deployment phase on the Bank map.
  • FIXED – Player profile pictures don’t load for each Squad during the Scouting Screen in Siege Cup.
  • FIXED – Highlights are missing from the Overview section of the Esports menu.
  • FIXED – Missing sound and voice effects after winning a match in the Siege Cup lobby.
  • FIXED – The Mousetrap penalty duration shifts by one day on each subsequent boot after its initial display.
  • Fixed – Voice chat indicator is missing in Main Menu.

Destiny 2 Down on Oct. 14 for Update 9.1.5.1 Roll Out

It’s another week, and that means another update is headed out to guardians in Destiny 2. If you can’t connect to the game’s servers, it’s not just you, as Bungie has taken the servers offline on Oct. 14 roll out a new patch.

Same as before, this will take a few hours, and during which time, all in-game activities will be unavailable. For the new patch, expect a slew of fixes to be applied via update 9.1.5.1, which should be a small download.

Battlefield 6 Cronus Users Banned With In-Game Message; Cheat Maker Asks Cheaters to Not Publicly Discuss Bans

Last month, Battlefield 6 developers mentioned how the shooter has its own macro detection for Cronus users on consoles. As it turns out, they weren’t joking.

Over the past few days, multiple Cronus Zen users (cheaters) have seen their account banned, with an in-game message alerting them that they’ve been caught red-handed.

It’s gotten so bad that even the cheat maker has now issued a statement about it.

Battlefield 6 Cronus Cheaters Banned, and We’re Loving It

Cronus users have been posting that they’ve seen this message appear for them after not being able to log in to Battlefield 6:

It’s delicious to see that cheaters are getting banned instead of being given a slap on the wrist.

It’s gotten so out of hand, that a Cronus developer has advised people to “pause” usage of the device. Not only that, but they are even asking Cronus cheaters not to publicly share or discuss any bans, since they said this draws unnecessary attention.

I honestly don’t know what to say, except maybe it’s pathetic? Here’s the message shared on the Cronus Discord (via ):

I am hoping this “reliable solution” is never found or that EA’s anti-cheat can combat this. It’s one thing to deal with in-game balance issues, bugs and whatnot, and it’s another to fight against cheaters.

F1 25 New Update 1.013 Races Out for Fixes on Oct. 14

Codemasters has released a new patch for F1 25 on all platforms this October 14, and this ushers in fixes related to career issues, replays, and more. Console gamers will see today’s download as F1 25 update 1.013 (complete version 1.013.000), and this should be another relatively small download.

There are also peripheral support added in this patch, as well as updates to F2.

  • Fixed an issue which could prevent users from creating mid-session saves in career.

  • Updated the McLaren, Aston Martin and Sauber vehicles so all Sports Update changes appear correctly.
  • Fixed an issue which caused parts of the front wing, rear wing & and nose of the Red Bull to appear incorrectly from a distance.

F2 Updates

  • Updated the team UI colours for a number of F2 2025 teams.
  • Updated the tyre compounds for the F2 2025 season.
  • Times set in F2 2025 vehicles will now have the “25” icon next to them on the Time Trial Leaderboards.

NBA 2K26 Update 1.04 Prepares Season 2 for Last-Gen

While Visual Concepts hasn’t been very vocal about its support for the last-gen versions of NBA 2K26, players can still expect seasonal support as part of the post-release content.

Players can now download NBA 2K26 update 1.04 for last-gen, and this prepares the game for Season 2 starting later this week.

Note that given the last-gen versions don’t have all the features of its current-gen brethren and PC, there are some fixes and changes that will not apply to the PS4, Xbox Series version of the game.

NBA 2K26 Last-Gen Consoles Updated for Season 2 via Patch 1.04

GENERAL

  • Preparations for NBA 2K26 Season 2, launching on Friday, October 17, at 8 AM PT / 11 AM ET / 4 PM BST. Stay tuned for what’s coming!
  • Various updates and enhancements to the UI across all modes to improve the overall experience.

  • The My Auctions menu now stays where the player last left off when listing auctions.
  • Added missing Badge filters to the Auction House Consumables search.
  • Added the ability to view pack descriptions that are inside a box in the Pack Market.
  • Prevented WNBA Pick-Up Challenges from appearing when an NBA player card is selected for Coach Training Challenges & Dynamic Goals.
  • Player Cards already included in a lineup no longer appear in Replace Player search results.
  • Lineups are now properly saved if the player exits the lineup menu from the Coaching tab.

PC players won’t receive the patch today; it will be available on Oct. 17, which is when Season 2 starts.

NBA 2K26 New Update 1.007 Preps Season 2 and Is the First Gameplay-Focused Patch

While Visual Concepts has released multiple updates for NBA 2K26 already, the studio has refrained from touching any part of gameplay. That changes today, as NBA 2K26 update 1.007 (complete version 1.007.000) not only prepares the game for Season 2 starting later this week, but players can also expect gameplay-related adjustments too.

In addition to gameplay, there are also fixes made to The City, updates tp the Arena, new player scans, uniform updates and a lot more.

While the console (PS5, Xbox Series X|S) update is out today, the PC update will be released on Oct. 17. For the complete patch notes for all versions, read on below.

NBA 2K26’s October 14 Update Brings Gameplay Fixes via Patch 1.007

GENERAL

Skate Update 1.000.008 Released for Season 1 Hotfix

Last week, Full Circle released the first major update for skate as Season 1. As is the case for almost every major update these days for an online game, it’s normal for something to not work as intended, or have bugs surface.

Today, the developers have released skate update 1.000.008, and this is a hotfix available on consoles and PC this Oct. 13.

Don’t expect much from this update, given this is purely for fixes.

Latest skate Update on Oct. 13 Is the First Hotfix of Season 1

The only thing mentioned by the devs today is a fix for game servers that had issues over the weekend.  “We have fixed an issue where players were connecting to game servers that were performing poorly and causing crashing and login queue to trigger. This should be resolved now,” the studio shared recently.

However, when it comes to known issues, there’s quite a lot of it that remain unresolved.

To Be Fixed in the Coming Weeks:

  • Input for one-foot ollies can be inconsistent 
  • Xbox X|S players may notice the update is much larger on their console than for PC and PS players
  • Slam target showing up/staying on when not in a Slam Challenge
    • Workaround: Restart game.

Known Issues Still Being Investigated:

  • Stuck on Isle of Grom

    • We’ve previously pushed out a fix so that new players won’t run into this issue, and have continued to help skaters that are stuck so they can enter San Vansterdam. If you still can’t take the ferry, please report it in our megathread.

  • Infinite Loading Issues

    • We’re tracking an issue with players getting stuck in loading into San Vansterdam.

    • Workaround: Make sure the game is updated (repair install, if possible). We’ve seen reports from players that loading will complete after a few minutes. If this doesn’t help, please post on our megathread

    • EA App: Click … on game tile, select Repair

    • Steam: Steam Library, right click game, Properties > Installed Files > Verify integrity.

  • Unable to play Skate. due to a “connection to EA Servers” error. “ERROR 852146987”

    • Troubleshooting: Ensure that the VPN is disabled and check that the EA App is not in offline mode. For more troubleshooting help, refer to our Connectivity FAQ.

  • Invisible party members when joining friend from another server

    • Workaround (not 100%): After the transition, any of the 2 party members would have to teleport to the other party member so they could see one another.

    • Fix: Team is currently investigating a full fix.

  • Achievements are not granted to the user 

    • Fix: We’re looking for a solution and will keep you posted with our progress.

  • The replay editor often captures stuttering during export

    • We’re working on a solution and will keep you updated on our progress.

  • Criteria for unlocking the Financial neighborhood is not showing up, causing the “Manual Extension” mission to not appear

    • Workaround: You can get to the Financial Neighborhood (Market Mile) by doing more Challenges. Get that XP.

    • Fix: We’re working on a fix to be implemented as part of other various progression issues between 0.28 and 0.29.

  • skate.Pass UI Bug preventing highlighting of preferred items from previous pages

    • Workaround: Close the skate.Pass menu and re-open it.

There is a possibility that some of these issues have been fixed in today’s update. Once we know more and if Full Circle releases any changelog, we’ll let our readers know.

A nice set of new colors, especially for those who love collecting Xbox controllers and all their fun and unique designs they’ve come out with over the years. That, and these controllers, despite being wired, are pretty nice alternatives, especially with their hall-effect sticks that are supposed to counter any stick drift.

Tekken 8 New Update 2.06 Adds Armor King, Character Moveset Adjustments via Patch 2.006.001

The latest major update for Tekken 8 is live, and this brings Armor King to the roster! Players can also expect a huge list of character moveset adjustments, bug fixes, and more.

Called the version 2.06 patch, this download will show up as Tekken 8 update 2.006.001 for console gamers, and this patch was released during today’s downtime that should take a few hours.

PLAYABLE CHARACTERS

Character Move Behavior Fixes
– In V2.06, adjustments have been made primarily to hitboxes and collision detection to address unintended behaviors.
– Improvements have been made to sound effects, voiceovers, and visual effects to enhance overall quality.
– Some moves that had their command inputs changed in Version 2.00 can now also be executed using their old command inputs. This change applies only to King and Lee, as no moves were assigned to those old inputs for them.

That’s about it. Once Bandai Namco releases another patch, expect it here on MP1st.

In other fighting game news, an Avatar fighting game has been announced over the weekend, , and it’s due for release in 2026.
