Hell Let Loose Update 1.007 Out for Spawn-Point Hotfix This Nov. 25

Console Players

We’ve deployed a hotfix to address the overrun spawn-point issues! We hope you’re all enjoying Quality of Life Patch 2.

Thank you for your feedback — helping us identify the problem, your patience has been greatly appreciated.

In case you missed it, Black Matter Studios released a big QoL Patch 2 for Hell Let Loose a few days ago. Here are some of the quality of life changes that came with that huge patch:

  • Changed map rotation on all servers to be randomised
  • Optimisation to significantly improve loading times
  • Optimisation to improve matchmaking times
  • Optimisation to reduce the amount of in-game stuttering through improved streaming speeds
  • Optimisation to improve overall visual quality of the game
  • Matchmaking optimisation to improve ping times and network stability through improved region selection and packet loss consideration
  • Added an option to toggle steady aim on/off
  • Added an option to adjust scoped weapon sensitivity
  • Added option to adjust volume of each voice channel individually
  • The “HUD Display Mode” is now set to “Always On” by default
  • Removed locked sectors from appearing on the HUD
  • Adjusted sizing of certain map icons and text on the in-game map to be more readable
  • Change so that the player will stop leaning if they start to sprint
  • Improved controller vibration under certain scenarios
  • Improved UI spacing and formatting for the deploy screen menus

Report: Chrono Cross Is Getting a Remaster

One of the most acclaimed Japanese RPGs by Square Enix in the 90’s may be making a comeback, as a report suggests that Chrono Cross is the big PlayStation game that’s getting a remaster, effectively resurrecting the sequel to the original Chrono Trigger.

According to VGC, the rumored big PlayStation title in the works is supposedly a remaster of the Chrono Cross, the role-playing game that was published by Square and released for the PS One way back in 1999 in Japan and August 2000 in North America. Nick Baker on the latest episode of XboxEra podcast corroborated VGC’s report by saying the game was featured in Nvidia’s leak list.

Chrono Cross Remastered, I think, was already on the Nivida leak list, so the game shouldn’t be a surprise – it was on Nvidia’s list. But I was told that that VGC article is about Chrono Cross Remastered

For those who never grew up or played Chrono Cross, the game is one of the most critically acclaimed 32-bit era JRPG titles and has earned high scores and praise from gamers. Here’s the overview of the story from the game’s Wikipedia page.

The story of Chrono Cross focuses on a teenage boy named Serge and a theme of parallel worlds. Faced with an alternate reality in which he died as a child, Serge endeavors to discover the truth of the two worlds’ divergence. The flashy thief Kid and many other characters assist him in his travels around the tropical archipelago El Nido. Struggling to uncover his past and find the mysterious Frozen Flame, Serge is chiefly challenged by Lynx, a shadowy antagonist working to apprehend him.

While Chrono Cross isn’t the most widely available game today, you can still play its predecessor, Chrono Trigger, on PC via Steam.

FIXES, CHANGES, AND IMPROVEMENTS

  • Bullet spread has been reduced on all weapons except Shotguns. This should result in better accuracy during gameplay
  • Increased PP-29 vertical recoil to ensure that the weapon does not overperform when engaging outside of its intended combat range
  • Resolved an issue where players who were killed close to obstacles such as walls or water were unable to be revived
  • Resolved instances where players were stuck in a downed state and unable to respawn. We’ve also introduced a hidden timer that will activate after 30 seconds of being in a downed state that will force a redeploy should it be required

Caught in an unexpected temporal phenomenon, seven ordinary citizens find themselves stranded in a Temporal Seam: they share their imprisonment with the Raider, a menacing enemy from another timeline with an overwhelming power.

Diablo 2 Resurrected Servers Down for November 24, Blizzard States Ongoing DDOS Attack

Reports are flooding in as apparently Diablo 2 Resurrected servers are down, or at least experiencing long wait times and disconnection.

If you were one of the many players trying to log into Diablo 2 Resurrected today, you may have notice some very long queue times, as well as disconnects. Don’t worry, you are not the only one who’s having issues, with Blizzard’s support team confirming that there is an ongoing DDOS attack. 

We are currently experiencing a DDoS attack, which may result in high latency and disconnections for some players. We are actively working to mitigate this issue.

For now, we will just have to wait it out until the company has resolved this issue. Hopefully it won’t be too long, as many are just starting their Holiday thanksgiving break. We will be sure to update this post should any new development arise. 

Update 1#: Blizzard has stated that the DDOS attack has ended and that services should be returning back to normal.

Saber Explains What Happened to Ghostbusters The Video Game Remastered Multiplayer

Back when Ghostbusters The Video Game Remastered was released in 2019, it was mentioned that multiplayer would be added in post-launch. Well, it’s been two years, and there’s no announcement or mention of the Ghostbusters The Video Game Remastered multiplayer from devs Saber Interactive.

Speaking to MP1st, we asked the studio what exactly happened to it, and here’s what Tim Willits, Saber Interactive Chief Creative Officer had to say.

MP1st:: What happened to the Ghostbusters: The Video Game multiplayer? Is it ever going to be released?

Willits: This is something the team really wanted to include when working on that remaster a few years ago and had been attempting it, but the state of the original multiplayer code unfortunately just didn’t cooperate. We did look into it but ultimately had to focus on recreating the single player experience fans were expecting from us. 

Sadly, from the sound of it, it doesn’t look like it’ll be happening anytime soon. Who knows, though? Perhaps we’ll get a new Ghostbusters game with multiplayer, which could potentially make up for this.

PlayStation Home Is Back Online This 2021 Thanks to Fans

Earlier this year, we reported that Sony renewed the trademark for PlayStation Home, which might mean that we’ll see the online platform make its way back soon (or not). Well, that is indeed what has happened, though not officially, but this makes it more impressive.

Thanks to the Destination Home Team working in tandem with the PSOne Emulation Team, PlayStation Home is back online this 2021 on the PS3! These talented individuals have managed to resurrect PS Home, and have full lobby sessions working! Check it out in action below.

For those playing Call of Duty Vanguard on PC right now, you might be experiencing issues that are preventing you from playing the game. Multiple reports of COD Vanguard crashing issues have surfaced this November 24, and this seems to have started after the Secrets of the Pacific event roll out.

Battlefield 2042 Upcoming Update Patch Notes for Update #2 Listed

True to their word, DICE has released the Battlefield 2042 upcoming update patch notes for update #2! This is the second major title update for BF2042, and will be the second one released this month. The patch is scheduled to be released tomorrow, November 25, and will feature balance changes to vehicles, weapons, fixes for bugs and more.

Battlefield 2042 Upcoming Update Patch Notes (Update #2):

Update 0.2.2

FIXES, CHANGES, AND IMPROVEMENTS

  • Bullet spread has been reduced on all weapons except Shotguns. This should result in better accuracy during gameplay
  • Increased PP-29 vertical recoil to ensure that the weapon does not overperform when engaging outside of its intended combat range
  • Resolved an issue where players who were killed close to obstacles such as walls or water were unable to be revived
  • Resolved instances where players were stuck in a downed state and unable to respawn. We’ve also introduced a hidden timer that will activate after 30 seconds of being in a downed state that will force a redeploy should it be required
  • MD540 Nightbird Mounted 20mm Cannons – we are reducing the radius at which bullets do damage upon impact, and decreasing their splash damage
    • Reduced Blast Radius size from 3 to 2
    • Reduced Inner Blast Radius damage from 1.5 to 0.75
  • KA-520 Super Hokum – 30mm Cannon (side mount) – we are reducing overall damage and range at which bullets do full damage, while increasing the overall bullet spread
    • Reduced Blast Radius from 2 to 1.6
    • Reduced Blast Damage from 20 to 14
    • Reduced bullet damage before Damage Fall Off starts 18 to 15
    • Reduced Damage Fall Off distance from 200 to 180
    • Reduced bullet damage at max Fall Off distance from 8 to 6
    • Increased bullet range and spread
  • AH-64GX Apache Warchief and KA-520 Super Hokum – 30mm Cannon – we are reducing the radius at which bullets do damage upon impact, and decreasing their splash damage
    • Reduced Blast Damage from 20 to 18
    • Increased the Damage Fall Off for enemies that are further away from the bullet impact center
  • We reduced the overall damage of the Minigun for all Land Vehicles, alongside bullet damage drop off now starting earlier
    • Reduced bullet damage before Damage Fall Off starts from 18 to 13
    • Reduced Damage Fall Off distance from 60 to 40
    • Reduced bullet damage at max Fall Off distance to 6
  • Equipped armor type for the LCAA Hovercraft has been adjusted which increases it’s vulnerability against different weapon types
  • Battlefield Portal – UAV-1
    • The UAV-1 has been re-enabled within Battlefield Portal
    • Greatly reduced health regeneration delay and speed
    • Increased missile damage against vehicles and infantry
    • The drone is now able to roadkill enemies
  • Breakthrough matches will now correctly end after the last sector has been captured
  • Resolved an issue that caused players queued for a match in Battlefield Portal to be sent back to the menu, instead of joining the match when a slot became available
  • Made general improvements to stability to prevent rare occurrences of game crashing

No Man’s Sky Expeditions Schedule & Development Update Revealed

Today, Hello Games has launched a new patch for No Man’s Sky that brings back Expeditions! For those who missed out on it, this is your chance to experience some of the cool stuff that flew out this year, which included a crossover with the Mass Effect franchise. Want to know what’s in store for players? We have the complete No Man’s Sky Expeditions schedule below, which will let you plan your in-game activities accordingly.

No Man’s Sky Expeditions Schedule:

Each expedition will run for two weeks, and have been adjusted accordingly for this shorter time period of availability. Each expedition has also been given a new starting planet and route through the galaxy.

Expedition 1 (Pioneers): 24th November – 7th December

Expedition 2 (Beachhead/Normandy): 8th December – 21st December

Expedition 3 (Cartographers): 22nd December – 4th January

Expedition 4 (Emergence): 5th January – 19th January

On the development front, Hello Games announced that there have been four major updates this year, and 17 in total when it comes to large releases. This doesn’t count the smaller patches for bug fixes and whatnot. Players can also expect No Man’s Sky merchandise to be on sale this holiday period, too!

Over the Holiday period the No Man’s Sky merch will be on sale periodically here with a 15% discount.

This is perfect for those who missed out on some of this year’s new experiences with the game, and ther are also new bug fixes and other improvements included which are listed below in the patch notes.

  • Fixed an issue that could cause audio problems on PlayStation 4.

Developer Milestone has released Hot Wheels Unleashed update 1.007 this November 24, and this patch is available on both last-gen, next-gen platforms and PC. Check out the complete patch notes below to see the new features and content added.

Milestone has released the Hot Wheels Unleashed update 1.06 patch this November 24, and this includes not only new content, but even a new system on how rewards for online races are handled. Read on for the patch notes below.

Ark Survival Evolved Transfer Issues Surface This November 24

For those playing Ark on consoles, and you’ve encountered Ark Survival Evolved transfer issues, it’s not you, but it’s the game itself. Studio Wildcard has triggered this, as an issue has cropped up after the recent Turkey Trial 5 event patch went live, and it also looks like this is an issue that’s affecting PlayStation and Xbox gamers.

The silver lining in all of this is, this isn’t anything nefarious, but rather, Studio Wildcard has triggered this instance due to bugs encounted during the Turkey Trial 5 event.

We are temporarily disabling transfers on XBOX and PS4 while we investigate issues with the Turkey Trial update.

We’re expecting a server-side patch or a client patch to make its way out soon to fix this. Sadly, no timeframe was given regarding when this transfer issue will be resolved, but once we know more, we’ll be sure to update the post.

At the time of writing, Pearl Abyss has not released the official patch notes just yet. However, here are some of the expected changes to come in Black Desert Online’s latest patch:

● A “Save Custom Colors” feature will be added to the Color Palette in the Dye and Beauty Album windows.
● Desert sicknesses (Heatstroke and Hypothermia) will appear while traversing the desert of the Valencia region, and the health of sailors will change to deteriorate while they are out sailing and exploring.

UI Changes

● Added a message UI showing how to differentiate items that can and cannot be used by season characters when attempting to use an item that season characters cannot use.

– This UI will show when trying to equip items that cannot be used by Season Characters.

 

● The number of skills that display on the Mount Information UI in the stable has been modified.

 

● The World Map Key Guide has been modified from ‘Navigate’ to ‘Navigate/Cancel’.

 

● Added the UI that allows you to recruit party/platoon members from within the guild easier.

– You can create a party/platoon through the Guild window by clicking on the Party/Platoon Recruitment button.

– The created party/platoon will only be displayed to your guild members.

 

● Added a Camera Settings interface to make it easier to adjust the camera location and distance when modifying the camera settings.

– Press and hold R3 to bring up the UI.

 

 

● Added the Login Reward Notification UI to appear when you first login to the game to clearly show what items you are getting on that day.

– You will be able to see what items you are getting today, and which items you will be getting the next day.

– You will be able to find the rewards in your Black Spirit’s Safe

 

Login Rewards are available for new and veteran Adventurers to collect. However, new Adventurers had a difficult time understanding what today’s login rewards were, what they will get tomorrow, know where the items were stored. Therefore, we improved on the visual effects of the login rewards and the UI to show what items Adventurers are getting today, what is available tomorrow, and show where the item is being stored.

● Grim Reaper’s Judgment – Fixed the issue where the skill could be used without going on cooldown in certain situations.

 

Hashashin

● Changed so that Forward Guard will not be applied when moving backwards with no Guard Gauge.

– Therefore, the guard breaking motion will no longer be displayed when moving backwards with no Guard Gauge.

 

● Aal’s Protection – Changed to be no longer usable with no Guard Gauge.

– Therefore, you will need to recover Guard Gauge before being able to use the skill Aal’s Protection.

 

Item Changes

● Added the “Category” and “Main Usage” information to the item description of items that can be received as part of the login rewards (excluding DC coupons and Inventory Slot Expansion Coupons).

 

● Changed the different text color for a part of the item descriptions for certain lumbering axe and butcher knife items to match that of other tools.

 

● Separated the [Ninja, Berserker] Narusawa Shoes from the [Ninja, Berserker] Narusawa Armor.

● Memory Optimization has been carried out to remove unnecessary duplicate data for item-related information.
● Textures have been optimized.

Quest and Knowledge Changes

● Changed so that you can complete the Atoraxxion: Sycrakea main quest, [Atoraxxion] Syca’s Cradle, by talking to Yaz even when you defeat first.

 

● Changed so that you can proceed with the “Weakness of the Living Legend” quest when you complete the “Punish the Wandering Rogue” quest.

 

● Changed the dialog text of the “[Pet] Lauren’s Fluffy” quest that you can accept from Lafi Bedmountain when you choose the first crossroads main quest during the Serendia main questline to be more natural for the quest.

 

● Reduced the number of Knowledge Entries required to obtain max energy for certain Knowledge categories.

– The max amount of obtainable energy is the same as before, but you need less Knowledges and don’t need to complete all Knowledges of the following Knowledge categories to increase your max energy.

– Adventurers who’ve yet to complete a certain Crossroads quest will not see any indicators for that specific quest.

 

While adventuring in the world of Black Desert, you will reach Crossroads quests in the main storyline that will introduce you to different NPCs and bits of story based on the choices you make. For Adventurers who’ve created new characters or are trying to complete quests to obtain knowledge for Adventure Logs, or are simply in the mood to seek out new and never before experienced Black Desert storylines, this update will make it easier to discern exactly how many times you’ve chosen a specific route in a Crossroads quest, thus making it easier to access the various storylines of Black Desert.

● Fixed the issue where you couldn’t store Marni’s Stones that store the max number of samples.

 

● Fixed the issue where the number of samples stored in each of the Marni’s Stones changed when sending them to Storage by using the Maid/Butler Group Command.

 

● Fixed an issue where there were irregular areas in Calpheon.

 

● Some awkward environments have been fixed in Atoraxxion.

 

● Fixed awkward textures when Durability is low while the [Kunoichi] Ayo outfit was equipped.

 

● Fixed the issue where the [Nova] Marnist Outfit appeared unnatural on certain body types.

 

● Fixed the issue where character motion would appear abnormal in certain areas within Atoraxxion: Sycrakea.

Prepare to experience the final round of Capcom’s prized brawler, as Street Fighter 5 wraps up its final season and adds Luke to the roster on November 29 — bringing an end to nearly six years of updates for this fighting game sequel!

Here’s a look at Luke in action with a mirror match displaying just how this MMA styled fighter plays!

As shown in the SF5 Fall Update presentation, Luke was finally given the long awaited gameplay showcase fans have waited for — highlighting his aggressive fighting style and hard hitting moves that set up a lot of combo possibilities and potential that make this fighter someone to watch out for. Looking like a cross between Ken Masters, Ed, Tekken’s Steve Fox, and even WWE wrestler and actor John Cena thanks to one of his alternate outfits, Luke’s style is all power and ruthless aggression — with his punches packing a wallop and a lot of emphasis on closing in to take the fight to his opponents. He’s got some target combos at his disposal, and his move Flash Knuckle is something players will use constantly as he builds up charge and applies some devastating hits to other fighters at the receiving end. V-Skills are called Hard Shot and Suppressor, and each have their effective uses in providing some pretty neat combo possibilities and damage for this final addition to the SF5 roster!

Luke will serve as the final fighter DLC for Street Fighter 5 as Season 5 ends and the developers move forward to a new project — which will hopefully be Street Fighter 6! Until then, look forward to the new DLC fighter’s inclusion in SF5 when he becomes available starting on November 29!
