Everspace 2 Console Release Date Set for August 15 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S

Everspace 2, the single-player space shooter from ROCKFISH Games, is finally coming to consoles next month. Everspace 2’s console release date has been announced for August 15 on both PS5 and Xbox Series X|S platforms. The game is also currently available on PC, having fully released last April.

A new trailer for Everspace 2 was published to announce the release date:

There are a couple of reasons why you may want to try out Everspace 2 on consoles as opposed to PC, if you own multiple platforms. The Xbox release will come with Day 1 availability on the Xbox Game Pass, and you can play it on Xbox Series X|S if you own a copy of the game on the Microsoft Store or have the PC Game Pass via the Play Anywhere system. As for PS5 players, Everspace 2 will take full advantage of the DualSense Controller’s haptic feedback, giving players more immersion when traversing solar systems and taking on enemy ships in dogfights.

An Everspace 2 Stellar Edition will also be available for console players, which will include a 64-page artbook as well as the game’s digital soundtrack. The Stellar Edition of Everspace 2 will be available on October 3 later this year.

Microsoft’s Focus to “Turn Back” to CMA Following FTC Case Victory, Litigation Delayed in “Public Interest”

With Microsoft winning the court case against the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) earlier today, company President Brad Smith is now focusing his attention on the United Kingdom’s Competition and Markets Authority (CMA). The regulatory body had prohibited the acquisition of interest of either company last May.

Here’s the full statement from Smith as posted via Twitter:

After today’s court decision in the U.S., our focus now turns back to the UK. While we ultimately disagree with the CMA’s concerns, we are considering how the transaction might be modified in order to address those concerns in a way that is acceptable to the CMA. In order to prioritize work on these proposals, Microsoft and Activision have agreed with the CMA that a stay of the litigation in the UK would be in the public interest and the parties have made a joint submission to the Competition Appeal Tribunal to this effect.

Smith also made a statement on Twitter regarding Microsoft’s win against the FTC, claiming that the tech giant is “committed to working creatively and collaboratively to address regulatory concerns.”

OW2 Update 1.000.020 Brings Summer Games 2023 This July 11

Blizzard Entertainment has released the (Overwatch 2) OW2 update 1.000.020 on both last-gen and current-gen platforms this July 11, and this brings the Summer Games 2023 event into the game. Read on for the new OW2 update patch notes.

OW2 Update 1.000.020 Patch Notes | New OW2 Update Patch Notes for July 11:

SUMMER GAMES 2023

It’s time for some fun in the sun with the Summer Games seasonal event! Log in and play Lúcioball, Lúcioball Remix, and the all-new Winston’s Beach Volleyball, plus score big with new cosmetic rewards, including a new Epic skin for Doomfist!

GENERAL UPDATES

On Fire Adjustments

  • Fixed a bug that caused players to gain On Fire at the start of a new round in Competitive Play when playing any game mode or in Quick Play when playing Control.
  • On Fire and Blazing are more difficult to attain early in a round.
  • On Fire’s cooldown reduced to 3 seconds. This should prevent most of the cases where a hero gained On Fire with a delay after a positive contribution.
  • On Fire score decays slightly more quickly when a hero is not On Fire.
  • Maintaining On Fire for long periods of time is more difficult.

New Event Hub

A new centralized location for Event information is now available from the main menu, where all Event Challenges, Rewards, and Modes are listed here.

COMPETITIVE UPDATES

Team Queue

  • Team Queue is an all-new Competitive mode for Overwatch 2, requiring everyone to play in a full group of five players. Team Queue has no ranking restrictions and will be available through the end of Season 5. Other important rules for the mode are:
  • Players can group up regardless of how far apart they are in rank.
  • Grandmaster players can play, even with up to four other Grandmaster players.
  • Team Queue is limited to 1 Tank, 2 Damage, and 2 Support.
  • Players do not queue for specific roles, instead choosing their roles within each match.
  • Platform pool restrictions remain, meaning players on console must still only group up with other players on console, notthose on PC.

HERO UPDATES

TANK

ORISA

Developer Comments: We are increasing the effectiveness of Fortify to make Orisa a stronger counter against team compositions that lean on crowd control.

Fortify

  • Damage reduction increased from 40 to 50%.

cf69d4bfa61ac14f61d3d541b0d2687a20fa24f55afe7a392d746f5ccb138dea.png

RAMATTRA

Developer Comments: Sometimes, the Ravenous Vortex projectile hits an enemy and bounces off unpredictably, delaying its activation. This quality-of-life change improves the ability’s consistency and makes it easier to use against groups of enemies without fear of accidental collisions.

Ravenous Vortex

  • The projectile now passes through enemy heroes but is still blocked by barriers.

b5e3a4f5629a3acfd47b5d2e695e79ea964b060bf67b7e4f8f15e63accd5f934.png

REINHARDT

Developer Comments: We are increasing Reinhardt’s barrier uptime to help him better protect his allies. We’ll be keeping an eye on this, as we want to avoid situations where players feel like they are always shooting at barriers.

Barrier Field

  • Maximum health increased from 1200 to 1400.

f71d6948e8b6ae340e20ab569ef66d24aead6032c34a7ec09a00ea864b413a24.png

WRECKING BALL

Developer Comments: Wrecking Ball rarely reloads his Quad Cannons manually due to the automatic reload that triggers while transformed into a Ball. This change makes reloading without changing forms a more viable option.

Quad Cannons

  • Manual reload time reduced from 2 to 1.6 seconds. This does not affect the automatic reload while transformed into a ball, which is still 2 seconds.

DAMAGE

SOJOURN

Developer Comments: We are decreasing the overall spread on the Railgun primary fire to help Sojourn build energy more consistently. The increased shots before reaching maximum spread will give players more direct control over aiming the projectiles when firing in short bursts.

Railgun

  • Number of shots to reach maximum spread increased from 8 to 12.
  • Spread reduced by 12%.

1cb6f3ad4b8afdc1a901c26180a4c134018bb805b91eefe9b7cf2946879f10c8.png

SOLDIER: 76

Developer Comments: One of Soldier: 76’s strengths is his reliable damage output, but it hasn’t quite been effective enough after his last round of changes. We’d like to avoid going all the way back up to 20 damage on his primary fire since it has proven too powerful in the past. So instead, we’re adjusting both primary and secondary fire damage slightly. He will also be able to stay in the fight longer and support his team more effectively with extra healing from the Biotic Field.

Heavy Pulse Rifle

  • Damage increased from 18 to 19.

Helix Rockets

  • Explosion damage increased from 80 to 90.

Biotic Field

  • Healing per second increased from 35 to 40.

b0a19d5c8b0e299705036f4d0b9394da5ff415dc0dcd4e9207b6e63254022dff.png

SYMMETRA

Developer Comments: Symmetra is exceptionally map dependent, to the point where she is oppressive in certain situations yet ineffectual in others. The following changes increase her weapon effectiveness while lessening some of the frustrations caused by her turrets. The Photon Projector primary fire is now an even more pointed counter against certain heroes due to its conditional shield health regeneration, and the secondary fire now takes one less fully charged projectile to eliminate most heroes. Symmetra’s turrets are especially powerful when focusing on the same target due to their combined total damage output coupled with their slowing effect. We are lowering their raw damage and angling them towards utility to make spreading them out a more viable option.

Photon Projector

  • Secondary Fire maximum impact damage increased from 45 to 50.
  • Secondary Fire maximum explosion damage increased from 45 to 50.

Sentry Turret

  • Damage per second reduced from 40 to 25.
  • Turrets now reveal enemy heroes to allies while dealing damage and for 1 additional second afterwards.

2ef3a4bdd117829a83867a7775ece351c4226f29b24cdbf8d7fac89443e8d8a2.png

TORBJÖRN

Developer Comment: Torbjörn’s Turret has a bit too much impact for little investment, so we are shifting some of its power to the rest of his kit to reward more accurate gunplay. Overload now partially reloads ammo, which guarantees that there is no downtime between activating the ability and shooting projectiles.

Rivet Gun

  • Secondary Fire spread reduced from 5 to 4.5 degrees.

Deploy Turret

  • Damage reduced from 14 to 11.
  • Cooldown increased from 10 to 12 seconds.

Overload

  • Now reloads 6 ammo on use.

SUPPORT

24d1d7bf86c331b3d81b934442ed36fd0121f6815255c6f26f456127fb342d15.png

KIRIKO

Developer Comments: Originally, we increased the Ofuda recovery time to promote more Kunai usage between healing bursts. Despite that benefit, we are partially reverting that change so the primary fire feels more responsive in situations where Kiriko is pressured to focus entirely on healing.

Healing Ofuda

  • Recovery reduced from 1 to 0.9 seconds.

9367143a32f3fc07781330a0b26c6f1087361204a2b7e4088d1daf26428273f2.png

ZENYATTA

Developer Comments: The combination of these changes will make it riskier for Zenyatta to apply Discord and increase counterplay for the affected target.

Orb of Discord

  • Maximum range reduced from 40 to 30 meters.
  • Time to wear off the target when not in line-of-sight reduced from 2 to 1.5 seconds.

BUG FIXES

General

Ping System

  • Fixed pinging opponent’s owned objects through walls as Sombra. This includes objects like Torbjörn’s Turret, Soldier 76’s Biotic Field, and Sombra’s Translocator, etc.
  • Fixed cases where Junker Queen’s knife would remain pingable if she died while the knife was not in her hand.
  • Fixed Lifeweaver Petal Platform pings using ping stems when the platform is mid-air.

  • Fixed Mystery Hero Game reports lacking information.

Junkrat

  • Fixed an interaction with Lifeweaver’s Petal platform that assisted Junkrat in leaving the playable space.

Lifeweaver

  • Fixed a bug with Lifeweaver’s Hero Icon challenges not correctly progressing.
  • Fixed an issue with Petal Platform that prevented the jump boost from being applied when jumping from some areas of the platform.
  • Fixed a bug that gave Lifeweaver high damage mitigation numbers for environmental kills.
  • Fixed a condition that allowed Life Gripped teammates to die to the boundary of a pitfall.

Orisa

  • Fixed an issue with overheating effects not playing correctly on some skins.

Ramattra

  • Fixed a bug where stunning Ramattra and interrupting Ravenous Vortex allowed the ability to be cast again immediately.

Reaper

  • Fixed an interaction with Petal Platform that allowed players to escape the playable space.

Reinhardt

  • Fixed an issue with Reinhardt’s beard appearing distorted for select skins in Hero Select.
  • Fixed an interaction with the Hold to Charge option breaking animations when used on a controller.

  • Fixed a bug that caused the Hero Select sound effects of the Mythic Tracer skin to keep playing after switching heroes.

Once a new patch is released, we’ll be sure to let our readers know.

Minecraft Update 2.68 for July 11 Pushed Out for Patch 1.20.10, Complete Patch Notes Listed

Mojang has released Minecraft 2.68 which is for version 1.20.10! This brings a load of changes and improvements to the previously released Trails & Tales update, with the full details listed in the official Minecraft update patch notes for July 11.

Note that for Xbox gamers, this update will appear as version 1.20.11.

Minecraft Update 2.68 Patch Notes | Minecraft Update 1.20.10 Patch Notes | Minecraft July 11 Patch Notes:

A new Minecraft update is ready to play! Since releasing the Trails & Tales update, the team has been hard at work on even more improvements to the game. Here are just a few of the highlights:

  • Players can now sneak under 1.5 block gaps
  • Shovels are no longer needed to craft Boats
  • Many more actions now emit vibrations detected by Sculk Sensors
  • Fixes to over 50 community-reported issues

Vanilla Parity

Short Sneaking

  • Player’s hitbox height now reduces to 1.5 blocks while sneaking
    • Sneaking will automatically be initiated while stuck in a gap of less than 1.8 blocks
    • Sneaking will lower the player camera height respective of these changes
    • Sneaking now requires enough space to stand in order to exit sneaking
    • Players will transition from swimming to sneaking if they are unable to stand up but would be able to sneak
  • Players are no longer able to sneak while riding (MCPE-170613)
  • Players will no longer suffocate when short sneaking in certain scenarios
  • Players will no longer suffocate when riding on a Camel in 2 block gaps (MCPE-166451)
  • Players will no longer be pushed slightly when short sneaking is by being pushed by a block (MCPE-166411)
  • Fixed many interactions where being forced into sneaking acted the same as holding the sneak button (MCPE-170610)

Other Changes

  • Items dropped by storage entities are now centered inside the nearest block (MCPE-160189)
  • Shovel has been removed from Boat recipe
  • Barrel recipe has been modified to use Planks instead of Sticks

    • Added “example:example_player_listener” Camera Preset to demonstrate this option
  • Actually fixed the bug that caused player capes to stop flapping when moving forward but looking sideways in the query.cape_flap_amount by switching the rotation used from the player’s looking rotation to the player’s body rotation (MCPE-153446)
  • Observer blocks use state “minecraft:facing_direction” instead of “facing_direction“. “minecraft:facing_direction” uses string values (“down”, “up”, “north”, “south”, “east”, “west”)

Phil Spencer, Bobby Kotick, Other Microsoft & Activision Execs Comment on Xbox’s Win vs FTC

After five days of long testimonies, District Judge Jacqueline Scott Corley ruled in favor of Microsoft and denied the FTC’s motion for a preliminary injunction. Following the judge’s decision executives from Microsoft and Activision issued statements regarding Judge Corley’s verdict.

CEO of Microsoft Gaming, Phil Spencer had this to say:

We’re grateful to the court for swiftly deciding in our favor. The evidence showed the Activision Blizzard deal is good for the industry and the FTC’s claims about console switching, multi-game subscription services, and cloud don’t reflect the realities of the gaming market.

Since we first announced this deal, our commitment to bringing more games to more people on more devices has only grown. We’ve signed multiple agreements to make Activision Blizzard’s games, Xbox first-party games and Game Pass all available to more players than they are today.

We know that players around the world have been watching this case closely and I’m proud of our efforts to expand player access and choice throughout this journey.

Microsoft’s President, Brad Smith, also weighed in on the decision:

We’re grateful to the Court in San Francisco for this quick and thorough decision and hope other jurisdictions will continue working towards a timely resolution. As we’ve demonstrated consistently throughout this process, we are committed to working creatively and collaboratively to address regulatory concerns.

On the other side, Activision’s Cheif Commercial Officer, Lulu Cheng Meservey praised the San Francisco judge:

A fair and neutral court has reached the correct conclusion about Activision Blizzard’s merger with Microsoft based on facts and the law.

The judge’s ruling rejects the FTC’s ideologically-driven attempt to prevent a deal that benefits gamers and allows more competition instead of protecting the market leader.

Activision Blizzard CEO, Bobby Kotick welcomed the decision (via Activision newsroom):

Today a U.S. federal judge ruled in our favor, denying the Federal Trade Commission’s attempt to block our merger with Microsoft.

We’re grateful to the court for the way this process was handled and the thoughtfulness of the decision. The U.S. joins the 38 countries where our deal can proceed—these decisions are based on facts and data that show our merger is good for players and for competition in the industry.

We’re optimistic that today’s ruling signals a path to full regulatory approval elsewhere around the globe, and we stand ready to work with UK regulators to address any remaining concerns so our merger can quickly close.

We’ll continue to keep you updated on our progress. Thank you for all you do for our players, for our company, and for each other.

Apart from the executives, a number of Activision and Microsoft employees and studio heads have welcomed the judge’s decision. The deal still has to pass a hurdle in the UK before it can close. We will have to wait and see how it all pans out.

Microsoft Wins Court Case Against the FTC; Preliminary Injunction Denied

While the FTC filed for a preliminary injunction last month, following the five-day-long hearing, Microsoft has finally won against the FTC in the US as Judge Corley has denied the FTC’s motion for a preliminary injunction.

According to the decision revealed, Judge Corley writes:

Four weeks ago, the FTC filed this action to preliminarily enjoin the merger pending completion of the FTC administrative action. Because the merger has a July 18 termination date, expedited proceedings were commenced. After considering the parties’ voluminous pre-and-post hearing writing submissions, and having held a five-day evidentiary hearing, the Court DENIES the motion for preliminary injunction. The FTC has not shown it is likely to succeed on its assertion the combined firm will probably pull Call of Duty from Sony PlayStation, or that its ownership of Activision content will substantially lessen competition in the video game library subscription and cloud gaming markets.

This is the second win for Microsoft among the big three regulators. The EU allowed the transaction to pass with certain conditions, and now Microsoft has successfully defeated the FTC.

It is unclear if the deal can now close as Microsoft still faces a block by the UK’s CMA, however, according to a report revealed last month, Microsoft is actively looking for ways to close around the CMA’s block. We will have to wait and see how it all pans out.

Fortnite Update for July Patch Notes | Fortnite v25.11 Hotfix for July 11 Patch Notes:

Slap Splashes can be picked up from a variety of sources: the ground, Chests, coolers, Holo-Chests, claiming POIs, and shooting down flying drones. The Slap Juice will restore your and your teammates’ Effective Health, plus give you and your teammates short-term unlimited Energy regen in case you need to sprint from menacing foes in the Wilds.

Fortnite Slap Splash

EXOTIC SLAP SPLASH

Want Slap Splash with even more kick? Exotic Slap Splashes can be found from Exotic Holo-Chests and Loot Llamas, and will grant more Effective Health and a longer temporary Energy regen than regular Slap Splashes. (To accommodate the entry of the Exotic Slap Splash, the Chug Cannon has been vaulted.)

Fortnite’s New “Bank Heist” Game Mode by 100 Thieves Is Available Today

Hear me out: bank heist simulator, but in Fortnite. Sounds promising, right? This is what the company 100 Thieves has done. It is the first game by the developer, exclusively inside Fortnite and is titled “Bank Heist.”

The key features of the game are that it will be a 3v3 competitive team-based shooter in Fortnite. You will have to attack the vault inside the bank, escort the payload, and then extract the cash. Presumably, the second team will be the one defending the bank.

100 Thieves hasn’t shared any gameplay, but the in-game screenshots look really fun! Apparently, the game will have helicopters too (and hopefully we can fly them).

What’s even better is that the game mode is available starting today, July 11, to all Fortnite players. You can find out more about this game mode on 100 Thieves’ official Twitter account.

Make sure to check out Fortnite’s new Bank Heist game mode, and let us know what you think about it in the comments below!

Exoprimal Roadmap Includes New Game Mode, Monster Hunter Crossover, and More

Capcom has recently revealed the Exoprimal roadmap which gives players a look at what’s coming post-launch. Players can expect a new game mode, ExoSuit variants and more!

Exoprimal Roadmap:

Season 1 Start: Friday, July 14 (when the game launches)

New game mode “Savage Gauntlet” set for release on July 28, 2023 – Savage Gauntlet is a co-op experience that challenges teams of five players with late-game PvE missions that rotate weekly and can be replayed for higher rankings and rewards.

First major title update scheduled on August 17, 2023 – Will introduce 10 Alpha variant Exosuits to the roster all at once. These alternate designs feature completely different weapons from their standard counterparts, presenting new ways to enjoy both Dino Survival and Savage Gauntlet.

Season 2 Start: Mid-October 2023 – Will also feature the next title update, and packs in the Street Fighter 6 collaboration that was teased last month. Players can look forward to other additions too, including a new map and Final Mission, plus more rigs and modules.

Season 3 Start: January 2024 – Players  will see the armory expand once again with Beta variant Exosuits. Alongside these shiny new sets of armor, this update will summon a new foe to battle, the Neo Triceratops. A collaboration is also in the works with the Monster Hunter series that will launch as part of Season 3.

More info regarding the upcoming new content will be revealed in the future.

Outside of the roadmap, Capcom has also revealed details on the “Final Mission Selection” which will be available as part of the game’s launch.

Final Mission Options

When Exoprimal launches later this week, Dino Survival mode will include a “Final Mission Selection” feature that offers players three matchmaking options: PvP, PvE, and random. In PvP games, two rival squads of Exofighters go head-to-head at the end of matches. This decides which team wins and who gets fed to the raptors! Meanwhile, PvE is all about speed. These missions generally do not involve direct PvP. Instead, the team to complete all objectives first will be granted permission to survive.

There is also a random option, which provides the adventurous with a small experience bonus. Exofighters are also free to change their preference settings and mix things up at any time.

Exoprimal will be released this July 14 on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC.

The marked gods are revealed and have their Attack Speed reduced. Additionally, any time an allied god hits a marked god once per mark per ability or basic attack, that ally gains a shield for 3s. Subsequent shields only grant 25% of the original value.

  • Damage: 50/85/120/155/190 + 40% of your Magical Power

BALANCE LIVE WITH 10.7 UPDATE – JULY 11

Game Modes

The dream becomes reality as the Titans break their shackles and take to the battlefield to make their divine presence known. Unfortunately with their inevitable demise, the rewards obtained for besting these behemoths are slightly too strong and too easily awarded. By making the Gold and XP local, players will need to actively choose whether to forgo the kill rewards, choosing to pressure elsewhere on the map, or to engage in a larger brawl and reap the benefits, albeit shared now.
  • Conquest
    • Unleashed Titans
      • The Gold and XP rewards for defeating an Unleashed Titan are now only provided locally instead of globally
While the team is happy with the introduction of Soul Surges as a seasonal feature, we want to continue finding the best place for them in all of our game modes. The potency of the zone effect was slightly too strong with how long they could persist for and the Spirit minions continue to be slightly more of a nuisance than we would like.
  • Soul Surges
    • The Movement speed buff provided for being within a Soul Surge has been decreased from 15% to 10%
    • Decreased Soul Surge Spirit Movement Speed from 375 to 275
    • Decreased Soul Surge Spirit Base HP from 265 to 180

Items

PROPHETIC CLOAK BUFF
The latest seasonal balance pass included a large hit on Protections that items provide and we wanted to take some time to evaluate which items and gods needed subsequent shifts. Prophetic Cloak has been a strong item since its release and while we did not want to directly buff it, the Protection thresholds do not match where we would expect them to be obtained during matches. We will continue to assess these new thresholds to see if the item as a whole needs further changes.
  • Decreased the first Protection threshold from 400 to 325
  • Decreased the second Protection threshold from 600 to 525

SILVERBRANCH BOW BUFF
The recent changes to the Max stack count on Silverbranch Bow were to help normalize it across the Physical gods that might want to pick it up. Allowing it to be valuable for characters that might not have Attack Speed buffs in their kit and just wanted to itemize into that stat path. We have seen the community sentiment lean towards the more selective prioritization of this item instead and brought back the cap to a more reasonable number. We will continue to monitor if the bonus power provided by the stacks is within an acceptable range.
  • Increased Max Stacks from 20 to 40

TOXIC BLADE BUFF
Toxic Blade is a niche item that has yet to find its place. The stats that it provides have strong value but never seems to fit the right builds in the meta. Before making any larger changes we wanted to find the best price for the utility it provides.
  • Decreased Cost from 2400 to 2300
  • Decreased max stacks from 4 to 3
  • Increased Anti-Heal debuff from 15% to 20%
  • Increased Attack Speed buff and debuff from 5% to 7%

GLORIOUS PRIDWEN NERF
Tank proc items are one of the main topics this season and while Bonus balance had a few nerfs, Pridwen was excluded on that list. We wanted a bit more time to see how well the data matched the sentiment to get a nerf for the more damage oriented Glyph specifically.
  • Decreased explosion damage from 75% to 65% of total Protections from items and abilities

Gods

Mages have been a large topic amongst the playerbase and understandably so. This year has seen mages overall be under-prioritized and generally under-performing. The latest seasonal changes were also seen to be a larger nerf for Magical users vs Physical who have more impactful basic attacks to fill the downtime between ability casts during fights. We considered the best way to buff Mages as a class and decided that the Class Bonus was by far the simplest and cleanest way to do so. Providing a small amount of power on several items has the risk of making certain items more necessary to build vs others. Just buffing all Tier 3 items goes against why we did the damage changes in the first place and also does not address the curve over time as smoothly as a per level option. An extra 20 Magical Power over the course of the game should help Mages reach a more balanced level compared to Hunters specifically across the duration of a match.

GENERAL
  • Increased the Mage Class Bonus Magical Power Scaling per Level from 1 to 2
    • This provides 20 extra magical power at level 20
AMATERASU BUFF
The Shining Light has been hesitant to charge into battle recently, opting out of the battlegrounds that have tended to prefer the more ability-damage focused Warriors. This push in her charging capabilities should help Amaterasu’s clear be slightly less all-in focused on her Heavenly Reflection and provide her more flexibility.

GLORIOUS CHARGE
  • Increased Base damage from 60/120/180/240/300 to 80/135/190/245/300
  • Decreased Cooldown from 16s to 15s
BASTET BUFF
Usually dominant in the early-mid game fights, this cat tends to get a bit lazy and fall off as the day gets older and the match continues to get longer. A little pick me up was needed to give Bastet the pep in her step to get her pouncing into the late-game.

RAZOR WHIP
  • Increased Physical Power Scaling from 25% to 27.5% per tick
  • Decreased Cooldown from 11s to 10s
CERBERUS BUFF
Inspired by the return of the Ferryman, the good boy of the Underworld wants to get back in the fray. Cerberus has always packed the punch needed to send the gods howling but not necessarily as often as he might like.

PARALYZING SPIT
  • Decreased Cooldown from 13s to 13/12.5/12/11.5/11s

GHASTLY BREATH
  • Decreased Cooldown from 15s to 14s
RAIJIN BUFF
While Mages as a whole have been slightly underperforming, this drummer has been fighting even harder to be heard. The Power Scaling on Raijin’s primary damaging ability might seem decent already but as it takes both time and effort to hit accurately, the reward was not quite up to the beat.

PERCUSSIVE STORM
  • Increased Magical Power Scaling from 25% to 30% per hit
TIAMAT BUFF
There are two gods on the list that weren’t quite going to make it but the community sentiment was clear that the seasonal changes warranted shifts for these two. Tiamat is the first with a passive that utilizes Power to obtain mitigations, specifically in the Ground stance. The seemingly small change listed has heavy implications and shifts a large amount of power away from being necessary in her item build. Tiamat, while still seen in the upper echelons of play, is actually not performing very well across all skill levels and modes and will be monitored for additional buffs if necessary.

DEATH BEGETS LIFE
  • Increased Scale Mitigation earned from Magical Power from 5% to 6%
    • This means Tiamat requires 100 less Magical Power to reach the cap
  •  Fixed description to clarify cap of 30%
    • Was previously listed as 25% but working as 30%
ULLR BUFF
While Hunters are generally performing well that does not ring quite as true for the ability hunters overall. Ullr is the pinnacle of this archetype and as such… is performing quite poorly. Whenever Ullr gains a fraction too much damage, he gains heavy notoriety and is quickly decried for nerfs. The change for his Ultimate is a large one but is mostly utility focused and will hopefully shore up his weaknesses slightly rather than exacerbate his strengths.

HAIL OF ARROWS (GLORY BOUND)
  • Increased Physical Power Scaling from 90% to 100%

WIELD AXES (WIELD BOW)
  • Ullr now gains half of the stat bonuses when in the opposite stance
OLORUN SHIFT
The second of the two mage shifts, Olorun has a passive that also requires Power to obtain a different stat, this time Critical Hit Chance. As the total Power in item builds went down, this also meant that Olorun’s passive was just that much harder to obtain. This change to Touch of Fate is a pretty big deal but it keeps one of the goals intact of the simple to understand Power conversion. Previously it was 1:10 and now it will continue as 2:10, hopefully allowing Olorun players, allies and enemies an easy way of understanding his current Crit Chance levels. Now with this heavy change and allowing Olorun to Critically hit more often and sooner, we wanted to shift the damage he will be doing downwards to be more inline.

TOUCH OF FATE
  • Initial Threshold decreased from 150 Power to 100 Power
  • Increased base Critical Hit Chance from 15% to 20%
  • Increased conversion from 1% to 2% per 10 Magical Power from items
  • Decreased Critical Strike Damage from 1.5x to 1.3x
ACHILLES NERF
Achilles is a powerhouse in the right hands and gained more protection for his heels than was warranted. Nerfs to his passive were needed to allow him to be more inline with other Warriors, especially when considering free stats… the ones that got nerfed across the board!

GIFT OF THE GODS
  • Decreased Protection bonus per level from 2 to 1.5
  • Decreased Physical Power bonus per level from 2 to 1.5
HACHIMAN NERF
Hachiman’s recent Passive shift has definitely brought him into the spotlight and while he has been hit once, it was clear the nerf-bat did not strike hard enough. Round two has come around, this time aiming specifically at the new stat provided, cutting the base it provides in half.

MASTER OF ARMS
  • Decreased base Attack Speed gained per stack from 2% to 1%
RAVANA NERF
Ravana is an interesting case as he was performing quite low across the board but the recent Passive Shield buff and meta changes have almost completely flipped his stats. This semi-revert is just the first place we want to target and with the item changes in tow, we will be watching the Demon King closely.

CHAIN OF BLOWS
  • Decreased Health Shield gained per stack from 9% to 8% of Ravana’s max HP
TYR NERF
Tyr was bringing down the law a little too often, especially with his new-found strength. He is learning to keep his temper in check and has promised to be a little less judgmental.

LAWBRINGER
  • Increased Cooldown from 90/85/80/75/70s to 90s at all ranks
NEW GOD SKIN VOICE ACTORS
  • Charon: Earl Fisher
  • Dark Prism Ix Chel: Pilar Uribe
  • Sinister Strife Hachiman: Psalm Morant
