Exo Zombies Are Coming To Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare In The New Year

Zombies in Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare’s Exo Survival game mode are getting fleshed-out in the New Year, developer Sledgehammer Games announced today.

Originally included in the co-op survival game mode as only a bit of a secret Easter Egg, the first chapter of a proper Exo Zombies mode is coming to Advanced Warfare with the arrival of the game’s first DLC, the Havoc Pack, this January, first on Xbox Live.

“As things were wrapping up around launch, we started playing around with the idea of what happens when zombies were thrown into the mix with exoskeleton gameplay. What we came up with is Exo Zombies — an entirely new breed of zombies and an entirely new co-op experience that is truly unique to Advanced Warfare,” Sledgehammer wrote in a recent community update.

“The first chapter of Exo Zombies will be coming with the Havoc DLC pack early next year. Fans can grab that DLC pack to jump in, or access via the Season Pass. More information about Exo Zombies will be coming in the next few weeks. We can’t wait show you more – see you online!”

You can catch the debut trailer above and let us know what you think in the comments below!

As noted yesterday, Season Pass holders on Xbox get a small portion of the Havoc DLC early in the form of a brand new weapon, the EM4 directed-energy assault rifle.

Titanfall Game Update 8 Dated For Xbox 360

Titanfall‘s eighth major game update is heading to Xbox 360 on December 1, developer Respawn Entertainment announced earlier today.

The update, already live on Xbox One and PC, is one of the game’s biggest yet, introducing an brand new co-operative game mode called Frontier Defense, Ranked Play, new competitive game modes, and new challenges called Map Stars.

If you missed the patch notes from last month, you’ll find the full change log below, as far as the Xbox 360 is concerned.

Titanfall Game Update 8 Notes

Brand new cooperative game mode – Frontier Defense

Join forces with up to three other players in this cooperative game mode to defend a vital objective from increasingly intense waves of AI combatants.

    • You and your team will face down familiar foes as well as the IMC’s newest combat units: hordes of Grunts and Spectres, stealthy Sniper Spectres and Cloak Drones, explosive Suicide Spectres and Nuclear Titans, ranged Mortar Titans, and even melee-resistant Arc Titans!
    • Supplement your firepower by earning and deploying stationary turrets around the battlefield.
    • Leverage your full arsenal against the IMC without skipping a beat by using the new Loadout Crates near the objective to switch loadouts at will, while refilling ammo and ordnance.
    • Pilots who fall in battle are flown back into the fray in a dropship that circles above the action before touchdown. Experienced Pilots always maximize their impact on the struggle below by firing from the side window of the dropship on approach.
    • Seasoned players can challenge themselves to beat their best score. Try to earn 3 Map Stars on each map!
    • Play in every corner of the Frontier, including the maps introduced in IMC Rising and every previous Titanfall expansion!

Ranked Play

Test yourself! Ranked play will enable you to work your way through an increasingly challenging set of Tiers by out-performing other Pilots in battle. This is not an exclusive mode or playlist and it works in all standard competitive matches.

In order to obtain the metrics we need to finalize the details, this feature will be launching in beta form.

The beta will last at least through October. After the beta, it will be open to all players level 32 or higher. A new season of Ranked Play will begin on the 1st of each month.

Looking for a beta invite? All Gen 10 players will receive beta access, in appreciation of their skill and determination. Gen 10 players may also invite other players to join in the fun. Gen 10 players are given 5 invites to Ranked Play, and 3 more invites per day. We may also expand beta access during this period.

Sudden Death in CTF

In Capture the Flag if the timer runs out and the scores are tied, the match will go into Sudden Death. Respawning is disabled, the first team to capture the enemy’s flag will win.

Map Stars

For an additional challenge while playing the game, we’ve added 3 stars to obtain in each primary game mode of each map. The stars you earn persist forever and you only have to earn each star once. To earn the star just play a match and reach the indicated score requirement. There are a potential of 504 stars to earn, and new Titan Insignias to unlock for earning a total of 30 stars combined for a game mode. You can view the progress of all Map Stars, and their requirements, in the “Levels” menu under “Personal Stats”.

Full Screen Minimap

To improve coordination among teammates, we’ve added the ability to bring up a full map by pressing Right D-Pad or “M” on the keyboard.

New Titan Insignias

7 new Titan Insignias have been added. 2 for Frontier Defense, 5 for Map Stars completion.

Private Match Burn Card Sets

Instead of using your regular Burn Cards in Private Match, you now specify a set of Burn Cards for the lobby. Each player has access to a copy of this set and may make whatever selections they see fit.

    • Fair and Balanced—Set designed for competitive play.
    • All Cards—One of every Burn Card.
    • No Rares—Every Burn Card, excluding rare cards.
    • Ghost Match—Collection of cloak-related cards.
    • High Velocity—Collection of stim-related cards.
    • Machine War—Spectres…fighting Spectres…with armies of Spectres.
    • Fightin’ Titans—Collection of amped Titan weapons, anti-Titan weapons, etc.
    • Amped Up—All amped weapons, all the time.
    • CTF Competitive—Set designed for competitive Capture the Flag.
    • LTS Competitive—Set designed for competitive Last Titan Standing.
    • None—No Burn Cards.

Black Market Additions

New Titan OS Voices

This update introduces new Titan OS Voices to buy in the Black Market. Sid is aggressive and dominating, while Vanessa is warm and inviting. In addition, you can purchase Black Market versions of the Betty Titan OS in multiple languages.

Black Market—Forged Certifications

Completing challenges can be hard, but on the Black Market, cheaters always win. This update lets you buy “Forged Certifications” which allow you to skip all five tiers of a challenge. You won’t receive any of the rewards for those challenges. Be careful, though—there is a new Xbox Live Achievement, “Too Legit To Quit” (0 points), to reach Gen 10 the old fashioned way—without skipping any regen challenges! Players who are already Gen 10 will also receive the challenge retroactively. Skipping a challenge that is not a regen requirement will not affect the achievement.

More Featured Game Modes coming!

Deadly Ground

The floor is covered in deadly electrified fog! Play a variety of maps in Hardpoint, Capture the Flag and Marked For Death while staying off the ground. Deadly Ground is scheduled to launch as the new featured game mode on November 5th.

Marked for Death Pro

Do you like Marked for Death but pine for classic round-based intensity? Look no further than Marked for Death Pro, poised to launch on November 26th.

New Features (X1)

17 new Achievements

Gotta pop ’em all! Are you a bad enough dude or dudette to get all 2000 cheevo points?

New Features (PC)

New graphics quality settings: TXAA and HBAO

Got the GPU horsepower to take your game to the next level? Switch on HBAO for increased realism and shadows, and if you’re rocking a supported NVIDIA GPU you can also enable TXAA (2X or 4X) for increased fidelity.

Improvements and Optimizations

Load times are now significantly faster.

Specifically the time it takes to get from the main menu to a private lobby has been greatly reduced as well as the time to get from the game back into the lobby at the end of a match.

The load screen now displays the correct map name and game mode as early as possible. We managed to remove the delay before the next level showed up, and fixed bugs where the previous map and gamemode showed up in the load screen instead of the correct values.

Decal rendering optimizations were applied.

UI Improvements

The daily challenge menu now has a countdown telling you when new daily challenges will be available.

When abandoning a daily challenge, the selection will no longer return to the top of the list.

General

Changed the music that plays on the last round of LTS.

Gameplay Changes

Black Market Prices

Some item prices have been adjusted to align better with the rate at which people earn Credits.

Marked For Death

During the countdown, the player who will be marked is highlighted to his friendly teammates by an in-world icon and a minimap icon.

When you become the marked player, you now gain full minimap vision. (Previously, it gave you minimap vision of all players, but not AI). We’ve added a visual callout for this in the form of a bonus Burn Card indicator.

Rematch Burn Card

This is now disabled for use in Last Titan Standing.

Decreased the amount of time between using the card and respawning.

Weapon Burn Card Cancelled

The “Burn Card Cancelled” message has been modified to indicate if the killed player was actively wielding an amped weapon at the time of their death.

Burn Card Overflow Protection

You will no longer earn Burn Cards from kills if your total deck size has fewer than 16 free slots. You will still earn Burn Cards for all other activities such as completing challenges or successfully evacuating. This is to protect against excessive Burn Card overflow.

Voice Over

Toned down frequency of VO that tells you if the score lead has increased or decreased.

Minimap Alert

Shots fired without silencers will now make you appear on the minimap of all enemy players. Previously this was only up to a distance of 4000 units.

Bug Fixes (All Platforms)

  • Fixed artifacts due to interactions between Titan shields and particles.
  • Made challenge descriptions easier to read in the challenges menu.
  • Fixed some missing or incorrect data in the last game summary menu after playing in a private match

Gameplay:

  • Fix unsilenced Smart Pistols never showing up on the minimap.
  • Fixed a bug where the Extra Dash Burn Card could remove the Big Punch mod from Titans.
  • Fixed a bug where Gen10 players using Roll the Dice with a full Burn Card deck could overflow their available space.
  • Fixed minor variance in Titan shield regeneration time.
  • Fixed a bug where you could change your Titan’s loadout in the middle of its life, if your Pilot had just respawned.
  • Fixed a few cases where Titans could fly further than expected.
  • Fix view pop when rodeo-ing a Titan that then gets embarked.
  • Fixed a rare case where a neck snap might not neck snap.
  • Fixed getting under the map in Nexus due to nuclear eject.
  • Fixed rodeo animations getting cancelled suddenly due to a player embarking into his Titan.
  • Fixed Titan warnings for incoming hostile Titanfall and getting rodeoed not playing sometimes.
  • Fixed timer-to-next-Titan sometimes not displaying after respawning.
  • Fixed cases of missing attacker kill credit. When a Pilot suicides, if enemy player damaged them recently, that player now gets kill credit.

UI:

  • Fixed refractive effects in VDU.
  • Fixed menu navigation issues when level 50 in the challenges menu
  • The next map images in lobbies will properly clear when going in between menus.
  • Fixed a bug where your loadouts would look unchanged after editing a custom loadout.

Performance:

  • Frame hitch when Pilot connects or disconnects.

MP1st Reader Blog: Ultimate Guide To Completing Battlefield 4’s Phantom Program

The MP1st reader blog is an open discussion lead by MP1st readers about the multiplayer titles and topics we cover. To learn how to have your voice heard, check out the Blog section on the MP1st Forums in the Multiplayer’s Lounge.

Here is my ultimate guide to completing the Phantom Program and its Assigments so far, from Phantom Prospect to the latest Phantom Operative Assignment.

“Hello operatives … welcome to the Phantom Program.”

To complete the first three Phantom Assignments, you must be a Premium member for Battlefield 4 on any platform. To unlock it, you need to go into the Leaderboards section on Battlelog and click the on the bottom left of the page. Once all the text populates, type in these passwords:

  • “bumpinthenight” (without the quotes) for Phantom Prospect
  • “epic dream worlds” (without the quotes) for Phantom Trainee
  • 24344241893” (without the quotes) for Phantom Initiate

NOTE: You must enter Prospect, Trainee, and Initiate codes in order to unlock them. (You do not need to complete them first)

Once you enter the passwords, the screen will look like the photo below. If your screen looks the similar, you’ve successfully unlocked the Phantom Assignments.

kQNJPLJ-l

Phantom Prospect

To complete the Phantom Prospect Assignment, you must complete the following objectives:

  • Score 200 kills with assault rifles
  • Score 200 kills with main battle tanks (including the new hover tank)
  • Get a total of 300 meter headshots

DKWW9FC

For the 200 assault rifles kills, you need to be in a ranked server. I personally recommended that you join a Domination or TDM server. The ACE 23 is a good choice, in addition to the AEK-971, M416, and F2000.

If you want do your 300 meter headshots challenge at same time as your assault rifles kills, then the SCAR-H, Bulldog, SAR-21, and M16A4 are good choices. I personally like to attempt the challenge with the SRR-61 sniper rifle.

For the 200 main battle tank kills, you can either use the normal tank or the new hover tank; they both count. You can be a driver or gunner to get your kills; they both count. I personally recommended that you join heavy armor-focused maps like Golmud Railway, Rogue Transmission, Silk Road, and Caspian Border on Conquest and/or Rush servers.

Phantom Trainee

To complete the Phantom Trainee assignment, you must complete the following objectives:

  • Score 200 kills with any pistol
  • Score 20 kills in a jet
  • Get two Shotgun Ribbons in a round

4d2TR6q

For the pistol kills, you’ll need to be in a ranked server. I personally recommended that you join a pistols-only server. If you find a pistols-only server then, I recommended that you join a Domination/TDM game mode server. The Deagle is a good choice, in addition to the SW40, G18, 93R, P226, M9, and MP443.

NOTE: The Shorty 12G does not count.

For the jet kills, you can either use the attack or stealth jet; they both count. I was personally recommended that you join an Air Superiority server, but most Air Superiority servers are now a ghost town. If you are unable to find any Air Superiority servers, the second best solution is go on any Conquest server that has a lot of vehicles, like Altai Range and Silk Road.

Keep in mind that you need 20 kills on any type of enemy. This includes enemy infantry, tanks, boats, jets, helicopters, etc.

The best tutorial for flying and dogfight that I’ve found so far is by well-known Battlefield YouTube personality FrankieonPCin1080p. Frankie made this tutorial back in Battlefield 3, but it still holds true in Battlefield 4. For Consoles players, skip to 2:38 of this video.

[youtube id=”Kf29HmwA1P8″]

I find the best cannon on the stealth jet is the 25MM cannon because you can do ground attack runs and not miss most of your shots in a dogfight with other jets.

If you’re still having problem with this, try to use the attack jet and try to hunt jeeps/bikes and low-health tanks with laser guided missiles. If you’re still having problem with this, let your friend play on your account and beat it for you.

The final step to complete this assignment is getting two Shotgun Ribbons in a round (12 kills in a round with a shotgun). I highly recommend you join any matches on Domination or TDM servers.

NOTE: You must do this in order. If you don’t follow these instructions in order, you may need to start over. Make sure you take care in following these steps, since the Battlelog is known to have a few issues.

Phantom Initiate

To complete the Phantom Initiate assignment, you must complete the following objectives:

  • Get 200 kills with LMG
  • Get 50 kills with explosives
  • Get 25 roadkill

HEkKBgV

For the LMG kills, I personally recommended that you join Domination/TDM game mode servers with high tickets. The Type 88 is good choice for low rank players in addition to the AWS, MG4, PKP Pecheneg, and M240B for high rank players. Battlefield YouTube personality Xfactor made a great tutorial on how to dominate with an LMG.

[youtube id=”LJ9P8bSjj6U”]

For explosives kills, you’ll need to be in a ranked server. You can use C4, XM25 Airburst, M32 MGL, Claymore, M2 Slam, AT Mine, RGO Impact, V40 mini, Frag grenade, M320, M320 LVG, or the M320 3G. All AT/AA launchers count as explosive killa as well. I’m not sure if the battle pickups count as explosives kills. I personally recommend that you go on Operation hurt Locker or Operation Metro to spam a few grenades. Please do not put C4 on flags.

For roadkills, you need to be the driver of any vehicle, including the SUAV, Jets, and Helicopters. I personally recommended that you join full conquest 64-player server, unless you’re playing BF4 on last-gen consoles, then go on big and empty maps like Golmud Railway, Lancang Dam, Lost Islands, Rogue Transmission, or Caspian Border. Also you can get a lot of roadkills by pancake-ing snipers camping on Siege of Shanghai and Zavod 311 rooftops. You can work on both roadkills and explosives kills at the same time by putting explosives on jeeps and hunting both infantry and vehicles.

Phantom Operative

Now, how to enter the Phantom Room found in the map Hangar 21 to unlock the Phantom Bow.

There are many things that need to be completed before you can enter the Phantom Room:

  • Wear Phantom Dog tag
  • Wear Phantom Gun camo
  • Wear Phantom Soldier camo
  • Find a Final Stand Dog tags
  • Wear one of Final Stand Dog tags
  • Have you and three of your friends or foes wearing difference Final Stand Dogtags and pick difference classes that each other.

To get Phantom dog tag, gun camo, and soldier camo, you’ll need complete the Phantom Prospect, Phantom Trainee, and Phantom Initiate Assignments to get access to the elevator that takes you down to the Phantom room.

To find Final Stand Dog tags, here’s an Imgur Album that will help you find all of Final Stand Dog Tags on each Final Stand maps:

Once you and your three friends unlock everything you need, make sure you’re wearing difference Final Stand Dog tags and pick difference classes from each other. If not, you and your friends will die in the elevator on the way down. If you live, then going up to force field shield the Phantom Bow and enter this code into the keypad: 1290 429 397648 970

This is code to gain access to the Phantom Room and the Bow. Once inside the room, you still need receive your Phantom Operative Assignment orders by interacting with the papers found in the room here.

E22qFQZ

To complete the Phantom Initiate assignment, you must complete the following objectives:

  • Get 200 kills with the Phantom Bow
  • Get 50 headshots with the Phantom Bow

3ob1ue8

I personally recommended that you join any ranked Bow-only server. If you have not found any Bow-only servers, then Domination/TDM game mode servers with high tickets is second best. The Phantom is not ideal in close quarters combat. Once you complete Phantom Initiate assignment, you’ll unlock the Phantom Operative Dog Tag.

Battlefield YouTube personality Westie made a great “first look” video for the Phantom bow. Also, you may or may not see a familiar MP1st reader in the combat feed whose work you’re reading right now!

[youtube id=”g6kn68kaEtE”]

If you’re having problems finding Final Stand Dog tags and/or do not have enough friends to get access to Phantom Room, the battlefield Reddit community has started a thread for helping people finding Final Stand dog tags and getting their Phantom Bow. You will find it here.

WARNING: If you’re trying to boost to complete Phantom Assignment, you may get ban.

I hope my guide helps you to complete the all of Phantom Assignments and the Phantom Program.

343 Industries ‘Will Take Care’ Of Those Affected By Halo: MCC Launch Woes

Halo: The Master Chief Collection is in trouble; fans aren’t happy with the rather embarrassing launch of what was supposed to be a flagship product of the Xbox One and both developer 343 Industries and publisher Microsoft know it. But while all parties involved in the making of the collection continue to face their challenges head on, studio head Bonnie Ross has ensured that they’ll make it right with fans.

“While our team works on continual improvements and towards solutions, my commitment to you is that we will take care of all owners of Halo: The Master Chief Collection,” she wrote in an update on Xbox Wire. “Our primary and continued focus is first on fixing the issues at hand. Once we’ve done that, we will detail how we will make this right with our fans.”

She went on to explain what’s been causing the headaches thus far and what the studio is has in the works to deal with the issues at hand.

“On the matchmaking front, we have encountered unexpected issues that were not apparent in our internal test environment and that have resulted in a frustrating experience, including long matchmaking times and low session success rates,” Ross said. “Within 343 Industries and Xbox, I can assure you that resolving these issues is our #1 priority. We continue to partner with the Xbox platform team to analyze all data to make ongoing server-side adjustments to continually improve the matchmaking experience. We are also preparing additional content updates that will address existing campaign, UI, and other issues to improve the overall experience. With each update we will carefully analyze data to confirm that the improvements we’re seeing internally are also happening with fans at home.”

The studio will continue to hammer out issues “non-stop”, according to Ross.

Update 1

According to 343’s latest update, Halo: The Master Chief Collection’s next title update is due out this week: “Our upcoming content update is still on track for delivery this week, and includes a variety of updates for Matchmaking, UI, roster and lobby, and more.”

Update 2

Halo: The Master Chief Collection’s latest update is now live, according to Franchise Director Frank O’Connor. We’ll post patch notes as soon as they are available.

Interestingly, popular YouTube personality Boogie2988 has some notable insight on the matter after speaking with 343 and Microsoft officials. Here’s what he had to say:

[youtube id=”COAXlXeeRrM”]

If you’re interested, here’s Francis’ rant (NSFW):

Advanced Warfare Xbox Season Pass Holders Get First Dibs On Weapon DLC This December

Sledgehammer Games announced today that the studio is offering a portion of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare‘s upcoming DLC to Xbox One or Xbox 360 Season Pass holders before it’s official release early next year.

According to a recent update on Sledgehammer’s blog, anyone Xbox user with the pass will be treated to the AE4, a futuristic directed energy Assault Rifle, along with a special variant called the AE4 Widowmaker, on December 11. That’s a few weeks before Advanced Warfare’s first DLC, the Havoc Map Pack, arrives sometime in early 2015.

The weapon will be included as a part of the DLC when it launches for any one who decides to pick up the map pack à la carte, so you won’t be missing out on any new firepower if you don’t want to pick up the pass just yet. The announcement does only refer to Xbox users, so it’s not clear yet if PlayStation and PC Season Pass holders will also get early access to the AE4 a few weeks before their respective DLC launches one month later.

For those curious, here’s what the weapon and its variant look like:

Destiny’s Next Update Will Bring Changes to Exotic Weapons, Latest Strike Tweaks Explained

Developer Bungie is not done updating Destiny before the launch of December’s The Dark Below DLC.

According to Bungie community manager David “DeeJ” Dague in the latest Weekly Update, the studio is “about to give you more reasons to covet almost all of the Exotics in the Grimoire deck” in the game’s next patch.

Exotics are about to come off the workbench,” he explained. “We’ll be shuffling the cards before The Dark Below launches. Just in time for fresh targets. We know you’ve been waiting and asking while we’ve been working.”

“The economy of war in the City is being updated along with the rarest and most unique guns on your rack. Even the marks you’ve earned will have new buyers who hold what your arsenal craves.”

What exactly all this means, we’re not quite sure yet. As Dague noted, he’s “saving the numbers for the notes that are being written up right now.”

In Destiny’s 1.0.3 Update that launched earlier this week, Guardians may have noticed a slight difference in the level of difficulty when attempting to solo Strikes. According to Designer James Tsai, it was intentional, but the studio is looking at ways to enable players to continue completing Strikes alone with greater ease.

“We were looking over the data from Strikes and found that some unintentional damage scaling was occurring based on team size. The larger the Fireteam, the more damage an enemy shot would inflict upon its members,” Tsai explained.

“We made a couple of changes. First, we tuned the damage to be a little easier overall so that we’d see higher survival rates in 3-player fireteams. Then, we normalized these damage values across all group sizes so that players wouldn’t feel that additional Guardians joining their Strike made things harder. Players can now be certain that people joining their team are helping their progress, not hindering it.”

“The side effect of this change is that playing Strikes solo has indeed become a little harder. We acknowledge that this is undesirable for many players and we are considering different ways to solve these problems.”

So, if you’re wondering what happened there, now you know.

Look forward to more updates from Bungie in the near future by keeping your sights locked right here on MP1st.

Check Out Some Of Halo 5: Guardians’ Alternate Controller Schemes In The Beta

The introduction of a pseudo-aim down sight mechanic in Halo 5: Guardians has a lot of shooter fans talking, especially after learning that the ability is mapped to the Xbox One’s left trigger, just like the rest of the Call of Duties and Battlefields out there.

If you missed it, here’s Halo 5: Guardian’s default beta controller scheme that was announced earlier this month:

B2IrpIDCUAAsYv0

But, after all, it is only one controller scheme. So, what about the others? Halo YouTube personality Greenskull from Ready Up Live was able to note a few of them during his hands-on time with the game. Here they are:

[youtube id=”NwpuFDgGcEo”]

As a Halo: The Master Chief Collection owner, you’ll be able to take all of them for a spin when the Halo 5: Guardians multiplayer beta launches on December 29 and provide your own feedback.

Battlefield’s Next Installment Will Head Back To The Series’ Military-Style Roots, Says EA

With Battlefield Hardline still on the horizon, dropping St. Patrick’s Day of next year, EA would naturally be tight lipped about future Battlefield installments we’re already anxious to learn more about.

Though not specific on what the next game will be called, we recently discovered that the successor to Battlefield Hardline will return to the series’ military-style roots, according to EA CFO, Blake Jorgensen.

It will be “a return to a Battlefield military-style game; more to come on that,” said EA CFO Blake Jorgensen, as reported by GameSpot.

When should you expect to see the next Battlefield game? Last month, EA CEO Andrew Wilson said in a conference call to investors that “our next Battlefield experience is planned for launch in Q3FY17” which is business lingo for October-December 2016. He continued by saying that “we want to give Battlefield 4 and Battlefield: Hardline players more time to enjoy these games and immerse themselves in a game, the live service, and the community.”

With modern military shooters becoming over-saturated in today’s current market, it will be interesting to see where EA and developer Digital Illusions C.E. will take the franchise. Will it head back to World War 2, Vietnam, or will the nods towards Battlefield: 2142 in Battlefield 4’s latest expansion Final Stand be the precursor for the long awaited sequel to the futuristic installment of the franchise?

Where would you like to see Battlefield 2016 go in terms of setting or theme?

Respawn Announces New Titanfall Deluxe Edition For Origin and Xbox One, New Trailer Highlights All Added Features Since Launch

Since launching in March, Titanfall has received loads of support from developer Respawn to improve the game and add more content to keep players busy. If you’ve passed up the chance to buy the PC and Xbox exclusive, now may be a great time to bite the bullet with the new Titanfall Deluxe Edition.

Originally only available on EA Origin for $79.99, the now $39.99 digital-only Deluxe Edition is also coming to Xbox One on November 25 for $49.99 and will offer the vanilla game, all three Titanfall DLC packs — Expedition, Frontier’s Edge, and IMC Rising — and every single free update released so far, including Titanfall’s Frontier Defense co-op mode. While content may have seemed scarce nine months ago, Respawn has kept true to their word and brought new things to the IP, which you can see in detail in the video above.

If you’re still wondering whether Titanfall is worth the money, here’s my verdict on the game in our MP1st review – “Titanfall may suffer from story driven details and a lack of unique game modes, but it more than makes up for it with diverse maps, an astonishingly fun multiplayer gameplay experience that rewards players regardless of skill level, and an offering that is an overall breath of fresh air in the first-person shooter genre.”

For more news on Titanfall, be sure to keep your Titan sights on MP1st.
