DICE Shares Battlefield 4 Improvements Based On Beta Feedback

Insisting that the Battlefield 4 beta that took place during the first half of this month on the PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 was an actual “beta” and not just a glorified “demo”, developers DICE have shared their learnings from the experience and outlined a few of the changes they will be implementing before the game’s release later this month.

Fortunately, there are points here to make both PC and console users quite happy, as DICE will be improving PC frame rates by reducing CPU usage as well as giving console players a few more controller options to play with than the beta allowed. There are, of course, a number of balancing fixes outlined in the notes below as well.

[youtube id=”wqahQzSgVNY” width=”618″ height=”378″]

Check out the changelog via the official Battlefield Blog:

Low frame rate/stuttering

PC players may have experienced trouble in the Beta getting the game running at a good frame rate. Rest assured that we’re using the information we received to optimize the performance for the launch of the game. We also released three game client updates and a number of game server updates during the Beta to address some of these issues and to gather more information to ensure a smoother launch.

Stuck on loading screen

We have identified some of the reasons why players, mainly on PC, were getting stuck on the loading screen and are currently working around the clock to decrease the rate at which this occurs. The latest PC patch for the Beta helped for some players and we are confident we will be able to minimize this issue for launch.

High CPU usage during the Beta

CPU usage could sometimes skyrocket for dual, quad and six-core processors. We identified some of the reasons and released three patches with fixes that went live during the Beta, to address the problems. This was a true Beta, and as such all the crash reports that were generated during this period will actually help us make a better game.

Controller layouts (X360/PS3)

We’ve increased the available controller options in Battlefield 4, including the new controller layout and multiple alternatives that we hope will make you feel right at home. If you’re more comfortable with the controls from Battlefield 3, we’ve got you covered. Just by bringing up the options menu, you can choose the “Legacy” layout, which is similar to that in Battlefield 3.

Empty server listings (X360/PS3)

While in the Server Browser you may have seen lists of empty servers. By changing the filter options, you’ll be able to find populated servers that you can join. You can also use the “Quick Match” function to quickly get into the action.

The elevator catapult (All platforms)

Although an interesting concept, elevators were never designed to act as a catapult or teleporter. The bug where the elevator button would catapult you up into the air is fixed for the final game. But we did enjoy all the crazy videos you’ve posted. Thanks!

Gameplay balancing

We are still balancing gameplay, and in true DICE fashion will continue to do so well after the release of Battlefield 4. Below are just some of the gameplay changes based on your feedback that we’re making in time for the launch of the game.

Infantry Changes
  • Fixed how the player only receives a single local damage sound effect if he or she was the victim of a quick, clean kill.  The sound and camera impact effect had too long a cool down between hits. This should improve the responsiveness of being killed and taking damage.
  • Reduced the fire rate of the AK12 in burst from 1000rpm to 750rpm. The rate of fire was too high when combined with the low recoil of the weapon, making it more powerful than intended in burst mode.
  • Tweaked the compensator and muzzle brake so they’re properly less accurate in sustained automatic fire.
  • Reduced and rebalanced full auto accuracy based on rate of fire for all automatic weapons to balance low ROF weapons. Low ROF weapons were remaining accurate long enough to get easy kills outside of their intended optimal range.
  • Increased the default throw distance of the portable ammo and med packs. This makes it easier to throw these packs to teammates.
  • Portable ammo packs now reload 2 magazines of bullets instantly and up a total of 4 magazines per pack over time. The player must stay on top of the ammo pack in order to benefit from all of the ammo reloading. Grenades, RPG’s, and other explosive launchers do not benefit from the instant reload function of the Ammo Pack.
  • Increased the muzzle flash of the 25mm and 40mm launchers to make their threat position more visible.
  • Fixed an issue where the knife stab didn’t align with the kill event.
  • The revive time has been increased from 7s to 10s.
Vehicle Changes
  • Fixed some descriptions of weapons for vehicles that incorrectly described the function of the weapon.
  • Increased the damage of the Stinger and IGLA to 3 hits to kill attack choppers (was 25%, now 35%).
  • Increased the speed of all TOW guided missiles to 75m/s from 50m/s so they can catch-up to fast vehicles like the Quad bike.
  • Increased the sustained fire accuracy of the Coaxial LMG on armored vehicles because it was underpowered.
  • Reduced the damage the 40mm and 25mm infantry weapons do to armored vehicles to highlight their anti-infantry role.
  • Reduced the damage main gun on the IFVs against other armor to highlight their primarily anti-infantry role.
  • Fixed an issue where the tank main gun did not correctly hit the center of the crosshair at all times.
  • Multiple options are now available for controlling how your vehicles steer with a joystick on all platforms, as well as improved the responsiveness of steering while accelerating.
Locking Weapon Changes
  • RPG7 and SMAW can no longer lock on to Laser Designated Targets. It was inauthentic and not balanced.
  • Fixed some projectiles not warning vehicles when they were fired on a Laser Designated target. Reduced the lock on distance for RPGs, SMAW, and MBT LAW missiles to 350m from 500m. This gives the IGLA the clear long range AA role for soldiers, and keeps the team play element of Laser Designation.
  • All Laser Designated missiles now do a maximum of 90% damage to Attack and Scout helicopters (down from 100%). This was done to give helicopters a chance to use their Fire Extinguisher countermeasure even against Laser Designated weapons.
General Changes
  • The kill string in the score log now appears sooner, making the UI more responsive to a kill event.
  • The aim assist on X360/PS3 has been tweaked to be more consistent at all ranges. The assist was over powerful at close range, and not powerful enough at medium range. Players should now find that close combat requires much more player input and the snap to a target is far less forgiving. At medium range the player should experience a bit more assistance tracking targets, but generally still reduced aim assist effectiveness.
PC Specific Changes
  • Fixed a string in On Foot PC key bindings that should have read “CROUCH (TOGGLE) / PRONE (HOLD)”.
  • Removed an unused “Underslung” key binding on PC, the “Select Gadget 1″ key binding now controls both of these actions as expected.

(This fix will also retroactively correct inflated core stat bonuses on heroes affected by this bug prior to our hotfix going live.)
  • Equipping a quiver with a two-handed bow will no longer cause Quick Compare to incorrectly reflect a loss in damage.
  • Square gems should now only drop in Hell difficulty, which is also where the required items to combine them drop.
  • The Paragon experience bar for Player 2 and Player 4 now displays correctly instead of being visually clipped at the ends.
  • Fixed a bug that caused a player’s experience bar to not display in multiplayer games if a another character with a Paragon levels had entered the game first.
  • Fixed a bug that caused the inventory to not display unidentified Legendary items.
  • Fixed a bug that caused the inventory to display equipped items twice if you exited the gem socketing sub-screen with the Select/Back button.
  • Fixed a bug that caused the controller to become stuck vibrating indefinitely.
  • Made changes to address corruptions of saved game data.

Unfortunately, there’s no ETA on when the Xbox 360 version of the game is set to receive this patch, but you can be sure that when it does, the above fixes will also be making it’s way to Microsoft’s console.

Xbox Live Compute Brings Dedicated Servers to All Xbox One Games

Xbox Live Compute will allow game developers to utilize the scalable computing resources that Microsoft deploys within their regional datacenters, as well as afford them the opportunity to go above and beyond the limits that physical hardware imposes on the creator. It will offer them massive server resources without studios having to deal with the the growing pains associated with building, managing and running servers at scale. Best of all, it will be free to all developers.

In an update on Xbox Wire, Lead Xbox Live Program Manager John Bruno wrote on the topic of dedicated servers and how the Xbox Live cloud will enable all games to utilize their advantages.

“If you have played a lot of multiplayer games, you know that playing on dedicated game servers has advantages over peer-to-peer gameplay,” he wrote. “With server-based multiplayer gaming, not only can more players play the game (think hundreds of players simultaneously), the gameplay will be much more reliable for the players. No more host migration interruptions, suboptimal experiences for the host, home network NAT constraints, or player cheating! Additionally, Xbox Live Compute can be utilized to persist game state so that your squad can live to fight another day without losing any progress. A great example of a game that is using Xbox Live Compute for their dedicated server multiplayer experience is ‘Titanfall.'”

Microsoft director of product planning Albert Penello later confirmed via Twitter that the free Xbox compute resources will indeed include dedicated servers for all Xbox One games.

Battlefield 4 Beta Comes to an End, the Wait Begins

There’s something about Battlefield that escapes explanation, which is exactly why EA/DICE’s marketing for Battlefield 4 is so brilliant.  Only in Battlefield isn’t just a silly slogan, it’s the very thing that makes Battlefield the epic FPS experience that fans have to come to expect from the franchise.

[youtube id=”QfujNQqVsj4″ width=”618″ height=”378″]

Yes, it has guns (lots of guns), explosions, lens flare, a modern setting and more explosions, just like every other FPS game of the last few years.  But it’s the subtle ways in which all those arbitrary components that make up the vast majority of FPS games come together only in Battlefield that makes it the jaw dropping adrenaline rush that the trailers make it out to be. Yeah, it has it’s dull moments, but they’re often punctuated or interrupted by a building crashing down around you, a tank exploding in your face, a skyscraper falling, or a killfeed that not even the most experienced Call of Duty player has earned.  The things that connect these moments are what makes Only in Battlefield more than just a slogan. They make it an experience you can’t get elsewhere.

There you are, going about your business, securing a hostile objective when “BOOM”, the wall next you explodes in a flurry of concrete, C4, and gunfire and before you know it, an enemy squad has you pinned down screaming into your mic for your squadmates to come and save you.  That wall exploding isn’t a scripted event, it’s just what the enemy squad decided to do in that particular match.  That’s what separates Battlefield from most other FPS games and the way DICE has spiced up those moments is, in part, what makes BF4 a true sequel to BF3 and not just a re-skin.  Yes, the gunplay is tighter, thanks to no more random bullet spread and severely toned-down suppression and, yes, if you played BF3, chances are BF4 will feel like riding a bike, but then an aircraft carrier comes ashore and cuts you off from killing that enemy you were chasing down, forcing you to find a new, and probably utterly decimated path to victory.

Historically, the Only in Battlefield moments were something players were solely in control of.  With BF4 and Levolution, DICE has given the levels a chance to make some moments of their own happen.  While it’s true that Levolution might feel a tad scripted in that players initiate a scripted destruction event, no other game even comes close to the scale and level of depth DICE is able to achieve by bursting a dam or dropping a smokestack on your head in BF4.  Now instead of just having C4 kamikaze or helicopter dogfight stories to pass onto your gamer friends and teammates, you get those set-piece moments that made for some seriously entertaining scenarios thrown into the mix from back when FPS gamers still enjoyed replaying a single player campaign a few times.  But what really sets BF4 apart from it’s predecessor, to me, on a fundamental gameplay level, is the little things DICE has done with just about everything in the game to liven up and re-focus the gameplay.

It used to be that you and a buddy would hop in the attack chopper and hope to survive for as long as possible before getting the dead-in-the-air-notification, telling you your ride’s just been disabled and it’s either land while evading enemy fire, or blow up in the process.  In BF4, thanks to a smart but simple and totally revamped damage system, getting in a tank or a chopper doesn’t feel like it comes with a guaranteed death sentence after you’ve been hit a few times with enemy anti-vehicle weapons.  Now, you can take a few hits and keep your ride alive if they aren’t well placed shots to your tank’s fat butt or your chopper’s rotors.  That makes every time you hop in a vehicle feel just a little bit different, which has a surprisingly large effect on that feeling of freshness that we expect from proper sequels and the match-to-match gameplay.

Everything else about BF4, from the way your character accelerates rather than jumps into a sprint, weapon handling, and even reloading is done with a fresh spin but stills bears a happy resemblances to its BF3 origins.  While some might argue that BF4 is really just BF3.5 or what BF3 was truly “meant to be,” I see all these little additions to the way the game plays and can’t help but think how awful they would have been had DICE put them in BF3 without having the mountain of new data that I’m sure BF3 gave them.  Being the minor, and in some ways drastic, overhaul to the franchise that BF3 was, BF4 is an improvement in every way.  But all of it’s triumphs, in true sequel form, have a basis and were made possible by DICE’s experience with BF3.  While most FPS sequels try simply to replicate what made previous entries successful with a fresh coat of paint, BF4 is a total redesign of not just how that paint is applied but also why it’s applied.  Everything that’s changed from BF3 to BF4 was made so for a reason and almost every change, if not for the better, is a very strong step in both a new and good direction.

All things considered, Battlefield vets are going to find themselves right at home in BF4 while new players will be introduced to the idea that not every franchise spawns recycled sequels to fulfill an annual quota of attempted shock and awe.  We’ve only had our hands on the beta, but I can already tell BF4 delivers on not just the skyscraper-collapsing-moments, but on the core gameplay as well and in a way that feels familiar but totally fresh at the same time.

Battlefield 4 officially launches on 10/29 on the PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, 11/12 on the PlayStation 4 and 11/19 on the Xbox One. Stay tuned to MP1st as we’ll be covering everything there is to cover with Battlefield 4.

Killzone: Shadow Fall – Introducing The Support Class

We are at the finish line with the last unveiled player class for Killzone: Shadow Fall‘s multiplayer component, the Support Class.

Killzone: Shadow Fall boasts three playable classes, you can read about the previously revealed Scout and Assault classes and what they provide.

Looking for a high win/loss ratio in Killzone: Shadow Fall multiplayer? You won’t be able to achieve such feat without the Support Class. Support players provide the ability to give out ammo and health, and even call in Revive Drone’s to revive dead friendlies. Unlike the Scout and Assault classes, the Support class also has five secondary abilities to choose from instead of three. This makes the Support class one of the dominant classes you’ll see come November.

The primary ability of the Support Class is the Revive Drone, which deploys a hovering medical robot drone that can resuscitate critically wounded comrades. Dying teammates who accept medical treatment and are successfully revived will receive full health and additional ammo and a temporary 25% health boost. They also avoid losing a life and having to start over from a spawn point.

In addition to the primary Revive Drone ability, players can choose from one of the five secondary abilities provided below.

AIR SUPPORT DRONE

The Air Support Drone ability deploys a flying combat drone that protects the area indicated by the Support player and unleashes minigun fire on any enemies that get close.

SPAWN BEACON

The Spawn Beacon ability sets up a temporary in-field spawn point for teammates. Spawn Beacons can be placed almost anywhere in the map, but it takes awhile to install them and they’re vulnerable to enemy fire.

TURRET

The Turret ability deploys a sentry turret that will automatically target enemies in its forward facing field of view. While not indestructible, sentry turrets are ideal for guarding choke points and defending mission-critical areas.

SUPPLY BOX

This ability lets Support Class players set up a Supply Box, which team members can use to stock up on health and ammo. The box can be destroyed by enemy players.

SUPPORT TELEPORT

The Support Teleport ability allows Support class players to teleport directly to a teammate in need of medical or tactical assistance. The teleportation device has a lengthy recharge time after each use.

The Support class is in fact shaping up to be the most versatile playable class shown off by Guerilla yet. Are you excited for Killzone: Shadow Fall? DICE: ‘We Need To Stop Ourselves From Going Too Hardcore’ With Battlefield 4

While Battlefield 4 developers DICE are hard at work making sure the next entry in the long-running series is as epic as epic can be, Creative Director Lars Gustavsson admits that, on more than one occasion, the studio had to stop themselves from going “too hardcore” with the game.

“To be honest, our problem isn’t to not think about the hardcore, rather, there are so many people like me doing Battlefield since ’99 or at least 2000 that everyday we need to stop ourselves from going too hardcore, we really have to hold ourselves back,” he told Polygon when asked how DICE plans to add new features to the game while appeasing hardcore Battlefield vets. “That is the natural gear that we have: the hardcore side. Then we need to remind ourselves that we need to make it for everyone.”

“Even though people have been playing Battlefield from the start, they choose not to fly because they don’t feel safe,” he added. “So it is not about losing sight of the hardcore. If you look at hardcore forums, there are so many times that you see ‘I don’t how this weapon works or this gadget’ and then everyone tells each other. It is beautiful. It is just beautiful. But sometimes you feel that a game should be self explaining, it doesn’t have to be more stupid.”

For example, weapons now display proper stats so gamers are more aware of what weapon does what and how certain attachments affect weapons, as he admits that even he who made the game “had a hard time knowing which attachment did what for what weapon.”

On top of that, newcomers, or those simply looking for a little more practice with vehicles and gadgets, will be happy to take full advantage of Battlefield 4’s new battle test range.

Battlefield Director Wants Studio to Get Into Linux, Needs One ‘Killer’ Game to ‘Kick Off’

Battlefield Creative Director Lars Gustavsson would “strongly” like his studio to get into Linux and thinks it would really only take one “killer” game for the platform to “kick off”.

“We strongly want to get into Linux for a reason,” Gustavsson recently told Polygon. “It took Halo for the first Xbox to kick off and go crazy — usually, it takes one killer app or game and then people are more than willing [to adopt it] — it is not hard to get your hands on Linux, for example, it only takes one game that motivates you to go there.”

“I think, even then, customers are getting more and more convenient, so you really need to convince them how can they marry it into their daily lives and make an integral part of their lives,” he continued, explaining that DICE has used Linux servers for production because it was a “superior operating system to do so.”

Also based on Linux is Valve’s recently announce and upcoming SteamOS. Which the company hopes will introduce to gamers to a new way to play traditional PC games in the comfort of their own living room with the help of hardware like the Steam Machine and new Steam Controller.

Polygon asked for Gustavsson’s thoughts on Valve’s move.

“Basically for different ways of accessing customers and giving them possibilities of play, I think it is super exciting,” he ansered. “The only thing I know is that from five or ten years from now gaming and especially how you consume it won’t look like it does today. I do think with streaming services and new input devices and so on, it wouldn’t surprise me if there is less need of hardware and more on demand gaming experience.”

“I think, hopefully, competition usually means a better experience for the customer. Sometimes. You know, was the VHS tape better than BetaMax? VHS won,” he continued. “So it does not always go in the right direction but overall I think it is healthy with competition. It is truly welcomed, so that we can have better games in the future.”

GTA Online – Dear Rockstar, Fix Or Get Rid Of The “Bad Sport” System

Are we seriously getting punished for playing the game the way it was meant to be played?

Look, don’t get the wrong idea about me. I’m not someone who shoots every breathing thing on a whim. In fact, in most cases, unless a bounty is placed on someone, I will only shoot after being shot at. Nonetheless, let’s talk about the “Bad Sport” system and how it’s labelling genuinely good players as “Bad Sports”.

For those who don’t know what the Bad Sport system is, it is pretty much a system that, based on a player’s behavior, will lock you into a lobby with other players of this play style for two to more real-world days. At first glance, it doesn’t sound like a bad idea, especially if it gets rid of those annoying shoot-on-site players. However, as noble as the idea may be, that’s not to say it isn’t completely broken in some aspects.

Recently, a friend of mine was targeted as a bounty by another player. With a bounty on your head, the most reasonable thing to do would be to, of course, defend yourself from anyone who isn’t on your side, and as such, he did. A few kills later, a team of bounty hunters roll up to him in a car as he shoots away in his attack helicopter, killing the hunters and destroying the vehicle that was both tracked and insured. This prompted him to lose $10,000 while gaining a label that he rightfully did not deserve; “Bad Sport”.

What’s wrong with this picture? Well for starters, this GTA is a game about killing and stealing. This type of behavior is a part of the GTA nature. Secondly, if you blow up an insured vehicle that belongs to someone, sure, you’ll have to pay up the insurance costs, but why should one be labeled as a bad sport in a case like this? No matter if they are shooting at you to claim that juicy bounty, or even if just free-roaming, if the car is destroyed, you are labeled. Self-defense, nor any other type of system to indicate that you were being shot at are in place to prevent the Bad Sport status and that, to me, is broken.

We could let this slide, but the fact that we can’t join his invite-only games or even play with him on the bad sport server, Rockstar is dictating something they should have no control over. It feels punishable not to play with a crew member that you have been playing with since the beginning, all do to a poor anti-greifing system.

I like the idea it, but if it’s going to prevent us from defending ourselves from other players by imposing the risk of destroying their personal vehicle and being labeled as a bad sport, then what is the point? And how contradictory does that make the bounty feature, when the purpose of the labelling is to prevent players from killing one another. We’re not supposed to kill others, but placing a bounty enforces that idea? Meanwhile, players who must pay GTA$100 to enter passive mode are still getting killed by players with vehicles, and they get off scott free.

At least let party, group or crew members enjoy the game together in private lobbies.

I know that there are more pressing matters surrounding Grand Theft Auto Online, but Rockstar needs to add this to their list of things to fix. I might come off as a whiny brat here, but let’s face it, good players are being punished because of this system. More importantly, it’s blatantly ironic to see such a system exist in a game about stealing players’ cars and killing one another.

Call of Duty: Ghosts Tactical Equipment Highlight – The 9 Bang

The 9 Band tactical grenade returns to Call of Duty: Ghosts, but with a few new and interesting tweaks.

In Ghosts, the 9 Bang will use a tiered power system to determine the grenade’s effect on the enemy. The longer you hold or “cook” the grenade before throwing, the more potent its blinging effects will be. Additionally, a fully cooked 9-Bang will release an EMP blast that stuns nearby electronics.

“The 9-Bang’s power system challenges players to plan ahead and think more tactically when engaging enemies,” says Multiplayer Lead Tom Wells. “Caught unaware? You can still toss it right out like a traditional flash grenade in a hurry. Prep a fully charged 9-Bang, however, and you’ll disrupt defenses in a big way.”

Quick thinking will be required to decide what level of strength that is needed for the situation.

There are a few counters to consider, however, according to a recent developer blog update:

Tac Resist

Resistance to flash, stun and EMP effects.

The Tac Resist perk greatly increases resistance to the 9-Bang’s effects. This obviously benefits enemy targets, but it’s also worth considering if you plan on equipping the 9-Bang yourself.

Equipping Tac Mask reduces the penalty of deploying the 9-Bang in close proximity, allowing you to play more aggressively without as much worry about potential backfire.

Trophy System

Active defense turret that destroys two enemy projectiles.

The Trophy System Tactical equipment counters up to two projectiles, including the 9-Bang, fully charged or not. Be prepared to defend yourself if your equipment gets vaporized.

Night Owl

A companion drone that detects enemies based on proximity and protects you from explosives.

Found in the Support Strike Package, the Night Owl protects its user against multiple explosives, including the 9-Bang. At a cost of 10 points, they’re not something you’ll run into left and right, but they’re a real pain when encountered. Use a non-explosive weapon to take them out on sight.

Be sure to check out last week’s highlight that focused on the new Call of Duty: Ghosts game mode, Blitz.

Existing USB and Bluetooth Headsets To Run Into Complications With The PlayStation 4

While you’ll still be able to use your Astro, Turtle Beach or most other third-party gaming headsets for in-game audio with Sony’s new platform, any device that relies on either a USB or Bluetooth connection to chat with other users on the PlayStation 4 will run into a few complications.

A report from GameInformer who spoke with Sony officials suggests that existing headsets using a USB connection for chat won’t work at the time of the PlayStation 4’s launch on November 15. Gamers will need to wait for an update post-launch that will enable the devices to work. This even includes the Sony-branded PULSE gaming headset (regular and elite edition).

Sadly, “any other headset that relies on bluetooth for chat will not work at all,” according to GameInformer.

The situation is similar for future Xbox One owners who will need to wait for an adaptor to allow their headset’s chat function to work with the new Xbox One controllers.

Both platforms will launch with first-party chat headsets out of the box, so you won’t be completely out of luck.

Thanks, GameInformer.

GTA Online – Rockstar To Give Half a Million GTA$ To Players Affected By Launch Issues

Rockstar is speaking with its (in-game) wallet to help better the unfortunate situation that was Grand Theft Auto Online’s launch earlier this Month.

GTA Online launched officially launched October 1, though it wasn’t really until about October 3 or 4 that gamers across both the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 could actually access the game’s services. Through some patching, developers were eventually able to get things rolling, but features like currency cards still remain offline.

Through an incoming patch due later this week, Rockstar plans to win your hearts by transferring a “cool” GTA$500,000 into the bank account of anyone who has played GTA Online within the month of October. A specific date is incoming, but until then, the team hopes to have the first deposit complete by the end of the week.

“For players who experienced cloud server errors, connection issues, and lost game progress and characters in these first days of GTA Online, we hope this GTA$ helps to facilitate a fresh start or makes your continued life in Los Santos and Blaine County extra sweet,” writes Rockstar in the latest NewsWire update.

Here are a few extra details to keep in mind:

  • You must play or have played Grand Theft Auto Online at any time during the month of October 2013 in order to qualify for the GTA$500,000 deposit in your in-game bank account.
  • Players will first have to install a forthcoming GTAV title update which we expect to happen next week. That title update (1.04) is expected to fix the remaining instances of issues that have caused vehicle purchase loss and will also enable the functionality through which we’ll be providing this GTA$ stimulus cash to players.
  • We will announce at the Rockstar Newswire when each deposit is made.
  • Each of the two GTA$250,000 deposits will be made by Rockstar and should automatically appear in the in-game GTA Online bank accounts of eligible players. Beyond downloading the forthcoming title update mentioned above, there should not be any additional special action required by eligible players to redeem.

Looking forward to the extra GTA$ cash? What are you going to spend it on?

Gamma Labs’ G-FUEL Product Review

How many gamers do you know that buy and pound energy drinks or soda to stay energized throughout their gaming sessions? I know plenty, as I am a culprit of this unhealthy habit myself.

I scoured the internet for any sort of help to give me the benefits that an energy drink provides, but with added health benefits. I know I was damaging my body by chugging AMP Energy drinks by the can. Through a bit of searching, no longer am I endangering my body, because I found the healthy answer to my question: G-FUEL by Gamma Labs.

Gamma Labs established Gamma Gamers around the launch of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. Since then, many known gaming personalities and e-Sport athletes have been trying the products Gamma Labs creates and have provided positive testimonials. With these high profile names attached to the product, Gamma Labs was poised for success. Now with the history lesson out of the way, let’s move on to the actual product.

G-FUEL Nutritional Label.
G-FUEL Nutritional Label.

Not to be confused with pre-workout powders, G-FUEL is made by gamers, for gamers. G-FUEL is sugar-free, gluten-free, and packed with antioxidants and b-vitamins. Treat G-FUEL as if it’s your morning coffee, it contains 150mg of caffeine, packed with a variety of great tasting flavors. The best part about G-FUEL is that after taking it, there is no crashing or jittery effects once the effects wear off. Once you take G-FUEL, it can take anywhere from 10-20 minutes to kick in and can last for as long as 4-6 hours, perfect for a good multiplayer session of Call of Duty or Battlefield. G-FUEL retails for $35 USD for the tub and $25 USD for a box of single serving packets. They also provide international shipping, so everyone can try it out.

Let’s talk about the nutritional benefits of choosing G-FUEL. G-FUEL contains natural ingredients that promote energy and prolonged endurance levels. G-FUEL also boasts the most powerful antioxidants ever found in an energy drink. Antioxidants are good for your body as they help support your immune system and protects your cells from the damaging effects of free radicals. G-FUEL is packed with only 10 calories for those watching their calories, and also includes 0 grams of sugar! That’s important and is the main reason why there is no crash or jittery effects after G-FUEL wears off. For a full list of added ingredients, check the nutrition label provided above.

How do you take it? G-FUEL is not an edible bar or gel. You have your choice between a tub that contains 40 servings, or 20 single-serving packs that are perfect for those on the go. Simply add 16oz of water to a shaker cup, put in 1 scoop from your tub or single serve pack, shake, and enjoy. Reap the benefits from G-FUEL and conquer your foes online with added focus, endurance and energy for hours on end. With a variety of flavors to choose from (Watermelon, Blue Ice, Fruit Punch, Pink Lemonade, Lemon Lime and the new flavor, Peach Mango) you will never have a hard time finding the flavor you feel is most delicious. I personally am in love with Blue Ice, it tastes like a mixture of Gatorade and Kool-Aid.

Does it really work? Absolutely. Not only does it work almost instantly, but you feel the effects for hours on end. Not feeling motivated early in the morning and you know you have a lot on your itinerary to complete? Taking G-FUEL will provide you with a spark to finish those tasks. I was not paid to review this product, nor was it sent to me, I spent my money on it, and I do not regret it one bit. I plan on buying multiple tubs after I finish my current one. As I only tried the Blue Ice flavor, I can’t suggest other flavors, but I’ve only heard good things from the others. If you purchase G-FUEL from the official site and you don’t like it, they will provide you with a 100% money back guarantee, so what are you waiting for? Don’t wanna take my word for it? A highly reputable site specializing in energy formulas gave G-FUEL a 9.2/10 rating

In conclusion, I highly recommend this product to all gamers who want a healthy energy formula that provides endurance, focus and energy. Stop spending money on those expensive sugary energy drinks and take the healthy route. G-FUEL is all natural and healthy for people of all ages. You won’t regret it, I know I haven’t. Let us know in the comments about what you think of this product!
