Resident Evil Village Update 1.003 Adds Variable Refresh Rate This April 26

Capcom has released the Resident Evil Village update 1.003, and this is to add Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) support for the PS5 version of the game. Read on for what’s new with the Resident Evil Village April 26 patch notes.

Resident Evil Village Update 1.003 Patch Notes | Resident Evil Village April 26 Patch Notes:

  • Adds Variable Refresh Rate Support for the PS5 version

So far, that’s all we know that got added, and this info has been revealed b Sony themselves, as the company released a list of games that are getting title updates that will add VRR. Outside of RE Village, other games that got a patch recently are Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, and Marvel’s Spider-Man Miles Morales. Mind, these three games got more than just VRR support, so there is a chance that Capcom added other stuff into this patch.

Once we know more, we’ll be sure to let our readers know. If you spot anything that got changed, let us know down in the comments.

Diablo Immortal Release Date Revealed; Open Beta Coming This June 2 for PC and Mobile

Blizzard Entertainment has announced the Diablo Immortal release date, with the game’s open beta coming for both PC and mobile devices on June 2! The annouunccement was accompanied by a new trailer, as well as a pre-register site for players looking to try the game once it comes out.

Diablo Immortal’s release date is also important for a few reasons, namely in that the game will also be releasing as a free-to-play title on PC. The title will support cross-play and cross-progression on both PC and mobile devices, so you can be sure that you can also play on the go if you want to.

As for control schemes, here are a few more details via Blizzard:

To provide players with more ways to play, Diablo Immortal will host controller support for both PC and mobile. Since the Closed Beta, we’ve modified controller functionality so adventurers will now use a free-cursor reticle controlled with a thumbstick to navigate menus. To type messages in-game, a touch screen or keyboard will be required. Providing you with the most optimal experience when using a controller to protect Sanctuary is a priority of ours, so after Diablo Immortal launches, we will continue to improve controller support.

Additionally, the W/A/S/D/ directional keys may be used to move around the map for PC—a first for a Diablo game. And of course, you can still use mouse and keyboard to explore, loot, and keep Hell’s nightmares at bay.

With the game launching in an open beta state, here are some of the features players can expect from Diablo Immortal at launch:

The time to assume the mantle of Barbarian, Crusader, Demon Hunter, Monk, Necromancer, or Wizard and fight for the fate of Sanctuary is closing in. As you ponder which class to walk the streets of Westmarch and beyond with, you may also be wondering—what dangers, or delightfully exciting challenges, will be available at launch?

As you progress through Immortal’s story, you’ll traverse eight expansive zones, each with their own hellish styles. But don’t worry, the gates of Hell have been left open for the potential addition of more zones and content. While taking in the sights and felling demonic hordes in your wake, you’ll stumble across dangerous live events where all battle-hungry adventurers on the same server can team up to defy the odds and claim victory over the Burning Hells. And once you’re ready to tackle the Helliquary, our eight-player raid experience, you’ll be delighted to know formidable foes and alluring loot await, with more to come across monthly free content updates.

Diablo Immortal arrives on PC and mobile devices this June 2 as an open beta title. You can pre-register for the game here.

Dune: Spice Wars Hands-On Preview – The Spice Melange (PC)

MP1st ventures into the harsh desert world of Arrakis in our latest hands-on with Shiro Games’ upcoming real-time strategy game, Dune: Spice Wars. Is this a spice worth trying or is it better left untouched? Read on for our hands-on impressions.

Welcome to Arrakis, A World of Suffering

While not the inventor of the genre, the original 1992 Dune video game and its follow-up, Dune 2 are regarded by many as the “grandfather” of real-time strategy games. While there certainly were other titles that filed the RTS role quite nicely, none of them hit like Dune did, as it brought forth much of the genre’s staple pillars, such as resource-gathering, factions, building, and so much more. In fact, the original releases were such a massive paradigm shift back then that nearly 30 years later (god, I’m getting old) they’re still serving as a template for many of today’s biggest RTS. Of course, the genre has evolved in that time between, but there’s no denying that Dune and its developers changed the landscape and paved the way for other RTS such as StarCraft and World of Warcraft.

So, of course when Shiro Games announced that they would be developing a new Dune RTS, my excitement level was through the roof. Now, to be clear, I didn’t go into this hands-on expecting the studio to innovate like the original Dune titles. No, I went into this as a long-time fan wanting to once again revisit the hellish world of Arrakis to wage yet another Spice War. To cut to the point, my time with Dune: Spice Wars was good…like, really good.

Before I do dive into this preview I would like to clarify that this is an early access version of the game, which is, more or less (if not the same), that’ll be launching today. A lot of the planned content is still in development, and will be rolling out as the early access phase progresses. This by no means a review, so don’t expect a score at the end of this hands-on impressions piece.

“He who controls the spice, controls the universe,” a phrase Dune fans are all too familiar with, and if the history of the franchise has taught us anything, that’s easier said than done. A lesson I learned all too quickly in my hunger for the Spice Mélange. Like many RTS before, my journey into the Spice War began with pledging myself as the ruler to one of the four factions, those being; House Atreides, House Harkonnen, The Smugglers, and The Fremen , with a fifth planned to roll out sometime during early access.

All these factions have their own govern of rule, fitting either as a pacifist, rebellion, believer in democracy, survivor, and of course, conqueror. I sided with House Harkonnen for my first run, as I always enjoy going with the direct approach of war in an RTS, and having perks geared towards waging it. This meant that I solely focused on the expansion of my army, earning resources by the means of conquering and pillaging villages rather than through diplomatic approaches. Of course, that didn’t sit well with House Atreides and the other factions who sought alliances, and building trade relations, but I didn’t care. I wanted it all, and would, by every means possible, do everything to achieve that. Sadly, the environment of Arrakis wasn’t something that I was quited equip for, as I found my tyrannical run overturned by nearly everything this harsh and unforgiving planet threw.

While my army grew, far beyond the view of my conquered land, other factions were building alliances and sharing resources amongst each other. I didn’t know this at first, but slowly, they started sending forces to push me back, causing me to lose critical facilities to produce resources. No resources, meant I could no longer fund the growth of my military, as well as pay the economy’s crippling spice tax imposed by the empire.

I wasn’t too worried though, as I still had a sizable force to make a comeback. So I gathered them all up for one last push in an effort to reclaim all that was lost. I started recapturing the closest points, and was met by some light resistance that was quickly dispatched. With some motivation from that small skirmish, I decided to keep on pushing.

A sandstorm started to roll in, causing me to lose a scout ship. Not the biggest loss and it gave me enough information of what was ahead to know that I was more than ready to capture the next point. So once again, I sent my forces out knowing they’d have enough supplies to make the trip. As they were nearing their target, the ground suddenly began shaking. Having an idea what to expect from the films, books, and the classic games, I knew this was not a good sign at all. Sure enough, the ground started opening. This opening, as it turned, was the mouth of a massive Sandworm. In one fell swoop it had engulfed nearly all my soldiers, with those remaining severely damaged and now beginning to starve to death. My army had been crippled, and not by some rebellion, or a defender of democracy, but by a being worshiped as a god that pledges no allegiance to anyone. I was defeated, my two-hour run ruined because I got selfish and thought I could brute force my way to victory.

Now to be perfectly clear, this was more of a goof around run to see how much of me doing things wrong would have a reactive response in the world. Me ignoring the 20-day house votes, not paying taxes, and objecting everything another faction had to offer. A lot of freedom in how I wanted to run things, even if it wasn’t the best way to run, and I’m glad to see the world react consequently to those choices.

Take the spice tax for example. When you find a spice depot you can build a spice harvester and over the course of time, farm spice. Spice can either be converted into currency, which helps fund settlements, army, and other ventures, or stockpile in order to pay a hefty spice tax and build up, which controls how much influence you have over critical faction voting and other political decisions.

I chose to ignore this tax at first due to not having a steady amount of currency coming in, but was eventually feeling the weight of regulation passing, and not having enough votes to counter them. So that shifted to me allocating a certain amount of my spice towards the tax, while having enough to fund my military and other settlement needs. It did eventually get to the point where I couldn’t get more spice depots due to other factions occupying them, and eventually I started dipping into the red on resources as the taxes continued to increase.

This resulted in conflict in my own faction, with settlements threatening to leave it for a better life, and even my own military deserting. Not a complete surprise since I wanted to rule as a tyrant who wanted nothing but war, but it was neat to see the world react like that. Even other factions at times would send messages about my actions going unpunished, and how they won’t forgive me for doing certain things, which they didn’t as evident by the mass attack they orchestrated to put further pressure.

That was my first run, and understanding how the world works a bit more, I decided to start fresh, only this time playing as House Atreides, the faction geared towards players who prefer the diplomatic approach. I really enjoyed how they handled themselves, as while the Harkonnen would use force, House Atreides used words to resolve issues. Certain conflicts can be resolved simply by coming to agreements, and although a bit longer than the methods employed by Harkonnen, I found the efforts to be satisfying, and in the long run, more rewarding as factions would aid one another, and share trades.

Closing Thoughts

I don’t want to spend too much time on this preview as the content is rather light, but I will say that Dune: Spice War is shaping up to be an excellent RTS. Like I said before, I really enjoyed my time spent with it. It sticks to the source material, and although not as genre moving as the original, it captures the very same joy I had for it so many years ago. Dune fans will be delighted with what’s offered here, but as noted, it is in early access, so it may be best to wait for the final 1.0 product. It goes without saying that it does have some faults, such as some balancing, and general improvements needed for the tutorials, but that’s what the early access phase is for — to work out these issues and build the best game possible. I look forward to seeing what Shiro Games comes up with in terms of content, and higher challenges, as well as

Dune: Spice Wars preview key provided by the publisher. Dune: Spice Wars is available now via early access on Steam.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Sequel Will Be “Most Advanced Experience” in Franchise History; Warzone 2.0 to Be Revealed Later This Year

While Activision has yet to officially announce what this year’s Call of Duty game will be titled, the publishe has already revealed before that it’ll be a Modern Warfare sequel (which would mean it’ll be called Modern Warfare 2, no?). Even if we don’t know its title, the publisher has called this year’s Call of Duty the “most advanced experience” in franchise history.

This was revealed by Activision during its most recent financials earning report, where the publisher also confirmed that the upcoming Warzone 2.0 will be revealed later this year, and will have “groundbreaking innovations.”

The Call of Duty teams delivered substantial gameplay improvements for Vanguard and Warzone in the first quarter. Development on this year’s premium and Warzone experiences, led by Infinity Ward, is proceeding very well. This year’s Call of Duty is a sequel to 2019’s Modern Warfare®, the most successful Call of Duty title to date, and will be the most advanced experience in franchise history. The new free-to-play Warzone experience, which is built from the ground-up alongside the premium game, features groundbreaking innovations to be revealed later this year.

Activision’s wording on the upcoming Modern Warfare sequel hasn’t changed, as just a couple of months ago, the publisher has called the game the “most ambitious” plan in franchise history. Outside of that, we know that this year’s Call of Duty and Warzone will utilize a new game engine, which should mean that we’ll be getting a major graphical boost.

Once we know more about Call of Duty 2022, we’ll be sure to let our readers know.

Fear Effect Trademark Filed by Square Enix; Relic Strike Filed as Well

Square Enix has filed a trademark for Fear Effect and Relic Strike, suggesting that both titles — or titles from their respective series — may see a revival soon. According to speculation, Fear Effect may also end up as one of Sony’s offerings for its PlayStation Plus Premium subscription service.

As seen in the WIPO portal, both Fear Effect and Relic Strike were filed for individual trademark by Square Enix (credits to Sal Romano of Gematsu for the tweet):

As elaborated further in the series of tweets, Square Enix also recently filed trademarks for Valkyrie Profile and Lenneth, which could be the sign that these games may be making their way to the PS Plus Premium service. Of course, as is with everything speculated, take this one with a grain of salt until officially confirmed.

In other news related to possible PS Plus releases, various Syphon Filter titles were also rated recently in Korea, which may be due to their impending re-release for the service. Read more about it here.

PS5 Variable Refresh Rate Support Rolling Out This Week

Just last month, Sony announced that PS5 Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) support is coming in the “coming months.” Well, it seems thats happening sooner than expect, as Sony has announced that a new firmware update to add VRR support is on the way this week!

Here’s the announcement of PS5 Variable Refresh Rate support and the games getting patches soon to support it:

What Is PS5 VRR?

On HDMI 2.1 VRR-compatible TVs and PC monitors, VRR dynamically syncs the refresh rate of the display to the PS5 console’s graphical output. This enhances visual performance for PS5 games by minimizing or eliminating visual artifacts, such as frame pacing issues and screen tearing. Gameplay in many PS5 titles feels smoother as scenes render seamlessly, graphics look crisper, and input lag is reduced.* Previously released PS5 games can be fully optimized for VRR through a game patch and future games may include VRR support at launch.

In the coming weeks, the PS5 versions of the games listed below will receive game patches that will enable VRR support:

  • Astro’s Playroom
  • Call of Duty: Vanguard
  • Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War
  • Destiny 2
  • Devil May Cry 5 Special Edition
  • DIRT 5
  • Godfall
  • Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered
  • Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales
  • Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart
  • Resident Evil Village
  • Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands
  • Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege
  • Tribes of Midgard

Once the update is installed, Variable Refresh Rate will automatically be enabled for supported games on the PS5 if it’s connected to an HDM 2.1 VRR-compatoble TV or PC monitor. Players can also turn it off under “Screen and Video” in the PS5’s system settings.

PS5 Variable Refresh Rate Support

Also of note, according to Sony, players can choose to apply VRR to PS5 games that don’t support it. This feature may improve video quality for some games. However, if it produces results in unexpected visual effects, players can turn the option off at any time.

Once the patch is out, we’ll be sure to let our readers know.

Rainbow Six Siege Rengoku Event Detailed, Available from April 26 to May 17

Ubisoft has released details on the upcoming Rainbow Six Siege Rengoku event, coming across platforms from April 26 to May 17! The new event brings a touch of Japanese flair to the game, and you check out a trailer plus the rundown below.

This Season, Rainbow Six Siege presents an event watched over by The Moon herself.

An eternal battle between The Sun goddess and The Storm god rages on. They call upon their mortal followers to capture the Altar’s Sacred Flames. Imbued with ancient spirits and armed with powerful kunai, operators have been cast into the roles of The Devoted and The Possessed. It is now a frenzied race to find the flames, capture the altars, and gain favor from the gods to obtain freedom.

Besides the trailer, here’s a rundown on everything coming with Rainbow Six Siege Rengoku:

THE WARRIORS

During this battle in the clouds, Operators have shed their normal attacker and defender roles, as well as their identities, instead being fully dedicated to their temporary divine patron in search for the sacred flames.

On one side we have The Devoted, vying for The Sun’s victory:

Fuze is called Homura and is heating up for the confrontation; Capitao, as Masurao, slithers into position to strike; Zofia burns at the opportunity to get started, now known as Kagerou; Twitch prepares a good harvest in this battle, under the guise of Kagaribi; Osa, now called Kasumi, scouts the area to pave the way.

In opposition, we have The Possessed, working for The Storm’s triumph:

Bandit gets ready to shock foes in his path as the mighty Ikazuchi; Maestro stands guard as Mononofu, preventing intrusion; Kapkan prowls the zone ready to pounce, now called Hagane; Thunderbird, bearing the name Taoyame, swoops in like a gale; Rook bides his time to neutralize threats as Tachikaze.

THE TOURNAMENT

Rengoku takes place in a mysterious temple with a new Control-type game mode, with Respawn. The match starts with three Altars being active out of seven locations. Every two minutes, the three active Altars will change location and must be captured again. Remaining in an Altars’ room will capture it for your team to start accruing Favor.

Altars can be captured by the opposing team if they stand in the room uncontested. This stops the Favor gain for your team and instead starts giving Favor to the opposing team. Be fast on your feet to stay in control!

Both teams are equipped with shotguns as their miain weapon during this event, so take care around corners. Special throwing knives known as kunai can also be set as secondary weapons. Each kunai, on impact, generates a specific effect depending on the Operator (fire, poison, stun, knockback) that have no friendly fire. Beware, as kunai used as primary weapons can destroy walls and kill opponents in one well-aimed hit.

The team that reaches the required number of points first, or has the most points when time runs out, wins the match.

As the event is coming tomorrow, stay tuned here at MP1st for possible patch notes on this latest update for Rainbow Six Siege!

    • Fixed an issue that caused the player to unintentionally cast Holy Bolt towards their mercenary if they pressed the bottom face button on their controller while they had Holy Bolt bound to a non-bottom face button, and the mercenary was far away
    • Fixed an issue where the ‘Gold Max’ string was misaligned in Classic Character stashes when using a controller
  • Map Generation
    • Fixed an issue where certain seeds could generate an Underground Passage or Pit map without an exit
  • Quick Cast
    • Fixed an issue where key mappings with modifier keys (e.g. Shift/Ctrl/Alt plus another key) could get stuck in the active state. This was especially noticeable with Quick Cast skills.
    • Fixed an issue where clicking the left or right mouse button while holding a Quick Cast skill hotkey could cast the wrong skill.
  • Settings
    • Fixed an issue where keybindings would not save if the player exited the game too quickly after changing their keybinds
  • Skills
    • +1% synergy bonus from Find Potion is now properly communicated on the Find Item skill tooltip
  • Stability
    • Fixed a crash that would sometimes occur on level transitions, most commonly seen in the Forgotten Tower
    • Fixed a rare crash in the mercenary equipment UI related to mods

That’s it for the patch. Stay tuned at MP1st for future updates to Diablo 2 Resurrected and more!

COD Vanguard and Warzone Season 3 Battle Pass Trailer and Details Revealed

As Classified Arms arrives this April 27, Activision has revealed the COD Vanguard and Warzone Season 3 Battle Pass trailer, in addition to details surrounding the new 100 levels coming to the games. Check out the trailer and additional details below.

Below is a rundown of everything coming with this new Battle Pass for COD Vanguard and Warzone Season 3:

Season Three Bundle Highlights: Kong, Godzilla, and Mechagodzilla Operator outfits [ALT: Operator skins] Coming Soon for a Limited Time

For Operation Monarch, Operators can become more than elite: with the help of limited-time Bundles based on Godzilla, Mechagodzilla, and Kong, they can become a (human-sized version of) the ultimate superspecies.

Tracer Pack: Kong Limited Time Bundle

Ready to rule the island?

The Tracer Pack: Kong Limited Time Bundle celebrates a Titan with nearly 90 years of history with nine items, including a Legendary “Kong” Operator Skin for Wade inspired by the ruler of Skull Island.

Wield the power with three Legendary Weapon Blueprints: the “Temple of Kong” Sniper Rifle and “Skull Island Shaker” SMG which shoot jungle green tracers, as well as “Kong’s Scepter,” a variant of the Axe “Skål Crusher” melee weapon that turns it into the weapon Kong’s ancestors supposedly crafted.

The rest of the Bundle includes items based off Kong: a powerful “Gravity Inversion” Finishing Move, a “Primal Power” Spray, a “Jia’s Doll” Weapon Charm, a “Kong Roar” Animated Emblem, and a Vanguard-exclusive “Watch Your Back” Highlight Intro.

Tracer Pack: Godzilla Reactive Mastercraft Limited Time Bundle

Prepare to intimidate your opponents with the Tracer Pack: Godzilla Reactive Mastercraft Limited Time Bundle, a nine-item pack based on the beloved reptile.

In addition to the Legendary “Godzilla Ghillie” Operator Skin for Shigenori, fans of Godzilla can be like their favorite Titan with the Ultra “Breath of Godzilla” Mastercraft Weapon Blueprint. This Assault Rifle is stylized to look like a miniature version of the beast and shoots icy-blue heat ray tracers similar to that of Godzilla’s signature heat ray attack.

This Bundle also contains a Legendary “Awakened Alpha” LMG, a devastating “Gojira Stomp” Finishing Move, a “Protector of Earth” Calling Card, two Sprays, a “Godzilla Heat Ray” Animated Emblem, and a Vanguard-exclusive “Big Mistake” MVP Highlight.

Tracer Pack: Mechagodzilla Limited Time Bundle

But the Titans are not alone. In a time of monsters, humanity built its own… designed to make us the ultimate dominant species. A precision engineered Apex Predator: Mechagodzilla!

Don its armor and become the apex hunter you were born to be with the Tracer Pack: Mechagodzilla Limited Time Bundle. With this Bundle, you get the Legendary “Mechagodzilla” Operator Skin for Constanze, and nine other items, with two — the “Machine Learning” MVP Highlight and the “Rival Protocol” Highlight Intro — being Vanguard exclusive.

The rest of the items are the finest that Apex Cybernetics could forge: the Legendary “Cybernetic Destroyer” Assault Rifle, the Legendary “Neural Uplink” SMG, the deadly “Nanometal Tail Blade” melee weapon, a “Network Uptime” Watch, “Mechagodzilla Head” Charm, and its very own logo featured as the “Evolving Together” Emblem.

All three Bundles will be available during Operation Monarch — stay tuned for offiial updates on their exact release dates.

Bonus Limited-Time Bundle Incentive: Get Additional Rewards by Collecting Operation Monarch Bundles

During Operation Monarch, it might take more than one Titan to dominate Caldera.

Those who want to become the ultimate superspecies collector and purchase multiple Operation Monarch Bundles — the Kong, Godzilla, and Mechagodzilla packs — before June 16th will receive additional rewards.

Purchase any two Bundles to receive the exclusive “Godzilla vs. Kong” Weapon Sticker and the “Superspecies” Player Title. Grab all three, and you’ll receive a Legendary “Apex Phase Rifle” SMG, one that could make a colossal statement in close-quarters engagements.

These bonus rewards will be granted when Classified Arms is Reloaded later this season.

Plus for a limited time, all members of Team Kong, Team Godzilla, and Team Monarch can head over to Monsterverse.com for an exclusive set of Godzilla vs. Kong Calling Cards to show off your Titan team spirit or flex your Monarch security clearance level in battle.

The Season Three Battle Pass: Classified Arms, New Skins, and More

Before the Monster of All Battles begins, Operators can gear up with Season Three Battle Pass, highlighted by prototypical weaponry and over two dozen free items through the Battle Pass System:

– Two Hard-Hitting Free Functional Weapons. Aim true with the hard-hitting M1916 or spray a torrent of rounds with the blazing-fast Nikita AVT, both for use in Multiplayer, Zombies, and Warzone.

Equip new Weapon Blueprints like the “Retrofashioned” Shotgun, “Regimental” Marksman Rifle, and the Legendary “Photon Phantom” Pistol. Show off the new “Factory Settings” and “Core Reaction” Calling Cards, plus a new Charm, Operator Skin, and MVP Highlight, free for all players.

– 1,300 Total COD Points. Get300 free COD Points within the Battle Pass System, plus 1,000 more to unlock across the full Battle Pass.

New Operator — Mateo Hernandez

Born into a large immigrant family in Texas, Mateo Hernandez dreamed of becoming a civil engineer. He joined the Navy and fought as a tail gunner in the Pacific.

Learn more about him, and the rest of Task Force Harpy, in our biographical overview for the new squad here.

Purchasing the Battle Pass instantly unlocks Mateo Hernandez with two Legendary Operator Skins: the all-black “Chingon” outfit featuring a hooded skull mask and knee-length coat, and the blue and orange “Madcap” Skin for the eccentric fighter rushing madly toward victory.

Equip his Favorite Weapon, the new M1916, and level him up to unlock thousands of Player XP and Weapon XP for the M1916, two additional Operator Skins, two Quips, the “No Escape” Finishing Move, and more.

Two Free Functional Weapons — M1916 and Nikita AVT

Like previous seasons, the Season Three Battle Pass System gives you two weapons with which to build a new Loadout. And with Classified Arms, Captain Butcher made sure to pick only the most powerful prototypical weapons — yours for free at Tier 15 (M1916) and Tier 31 (Nikita AVT).

M1916: Marksman Rifle (Tier 15 of Battle Pass System)

“A semi-automatic rifle with a deadly combination of power and fire rate. Lethal at any range in the hands of a capable marksman.”

Nikita AVT: Assault Rifle (Tier 31 of Battle Pass System)

“Accurate and reliable with best-in-class fire rate, this assault rifle can be outfitted to exceed in CQC or long-range combat scenarios.”

Dozens of Weapon Blueprints and Operator Skins

With new prototype weapons in the wild, you can be sure to find the latest Weapon Blueprints in development via the Season Three Battle Pass.

Here are some of our favorite Weapon Blueprints to be found on your way to hitting Tier 100:

  • Legendary “Work Hazard” Assault Rifle Blueprint (Tier 5): This DIY Legendary Weapon Blueprint comes with ten preconfigured attachments made for high-precision and stealthy play, complemented by a hefty 45-round magazine.
  • Rare “Retrofashioned” Shotgun Blueprint (FREE at Tier 24): Equal parts retro and science fiction, this six-attachment Blueprint excels in dishing out high-damage shots even while sprinting with the use of the Gung-Ho Perk. This is the perfect Hardpoint breaching weapon.
  • Epic “Fusion Core” SMG Blueprint (Tier 59): An iconic example of the newly found classified arms of Season Three, this prototype weapon has certainly come out of a high-tech weapons lab. Its nine-attachment configuration results in a noticeably improved fire rate, with the extra benefit via Unmarked of granting momentary Dead Silence when eliminating enemies who fail to retaliate.
  • Legendary “Shipliner” LMG Blueprint (Tier 65): For long-range suppressive fire, this is a solid bet. Its equipped silencer will keep enemies guessing as to your whereabouts, paired with Fully Loaded to keep you stocked up and eight other attachments all in service of clinching that victory.
  • Legendary “Mixed Oxide” Marksman Rifle Blueprint (Tier 95): A slick blue and black design complements this new Season Three Marksman Rifle made for the mobile sharpshooter. Its ten attachments are focused on high mobility with dexterous handling, complete with a silencer to maintain a low profile while downing enemies on the move.

The Battle Pass also features a new Operator Skin every 10 Tiers, including “Sandshine” Padmavati at Tier 30 and “Green Guardian” Solange at Tier 70.

Stay tuned here at MP1st for the full patch notes on COD Vanguard and Warzone Season 3 and its battle pass as it drops on the 27th!

Apex Legends New Legends “Newcastle” Revealed, Next Update Out May 10

The Apex Legends new Legend has just been revealed, with Newcastle arriving soon in the future update called Saviors! Check out the trailer below before it eventually comes on May 10.

When a monstrous beast attacks Storm Point, new Legend Newcastle leaps into the fray to protect and inspire his fellow Legends: because that’s what heroes are for.

Not much else is revealed besides the trailer, although going by the massive leak that went around a few weeks ago, here’s what we could expect from Newcastle:

Newcastle (defense) “Mobile defender”, Fortified, abilities: Retrieve the wounded (passive) – you can carry your team mates, literally drag downed teammates as they being revived and protects them with revive shield (Call the police, we found who stole LL’s revive shield), Mobile shield (tactical) – throw controllable drone which creates a moving energy shield, Castle wall (ult) – “Leap and slam to a target ally or area and create a fortified stronghold” (basically jumps to location, slams the ground and go full Fortnite in one direction, creating a barricade). Note: Seems like Newcastle may be next Legends – he most finished out of all leaked roaster (model vise)

Be sure to stay tuned here at MP1st for further announcements for Newcastle, as well as the patch notes for the May 10 Saviors update for Apex Legends!
