Rockstar Games has released the (Grand Theft Auto) GTA The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition update 1.02 (PS5 version 1.002), with each game getting their own separate title update. This is a patch available on both next-gen and last-gen versions, and is for technical fixes as previously announced by the studio.

  • Fixed an issue where the camera is incorrectly positioned when returning to gameplay after finding Sweet in the mission Reuniting the Families
  • Fixed an issue where a bridge in Flint County is invisible
  • Fixed an issue where players can equip weapons while swimming which can cause issues with the weapons clipping through the character’s body
  • Fixed an issue where incorrect help text was displayed for swimming
  • Fixed an issue where the results screen was appearing at the start of Bike School – Jump and Stoppie
  • Fixed an issue with grey pedestrians appearing around the Willowfield and Playa del Seville area
  • Fixed an issue with a pedestrian looking partially translucent in the Just Business cutscene
  • Fixed an issue with the legal text not being displayed correctly
  • Fixed an issue with Enforcer lights not flashing
  • Fixed an issue with players not being able to kill Paul and Maccer before triggering the cutscene for the mission Don Peyote
  • Fixed an issue where the mid-mission cutscene would start then fade to black before restarting again during the mission Sayonara Salvatore
  • Fixed an issue where the game would restart from the beginning when selecting to retry from the last checkpoint on the Mission High Stakes, Low Rider
  • Fixed an issue with an invincible enemy during the mission Los Desperados
  • Fixed an issue with incorrect inverted controls when swimming underwater when setting them to either on or off
  • Fixed an issue with the aiming sensitivity for the Pistol Ammu-Nation Challenge
  • Fixed an issue where progress is blocked due to Sweet being killed prematurely during the mission The Green Sabre
  • Fixed an issue where the help text does not disappear which ends up blocking the muscle stat from showing it increasing at any Gym
  • Fixed an issue with the incorrect time being displayed when collecting rings during the BMX or NRG-500 Challenges
  • Fixed an issue with the camera warping during the In the Beginning cutscene
  • Fixed an issue where some character models were not animating during some cutscenes
  • Fixed an issue with the player getting stuck behind the Cluckin’ Bell counter (Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One)
  • Fixed an issue where Police Officers can be seen floating before a police car spawns during the Reuniting the Families cutscene (Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One)
  • Fixed an issue with pedestrian weapon accuracy (Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One)

No word yet on what’s exactly in the title update, but Rockstar Games has announced that they are rolling out technical fixes for all three titles on every platform. Here’s the letter posted by the studio today:

Hi everyone,

We want to provide an update regarding the unexpected technical issues that came to light as part of the launch of Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition.

Firstly, we want to sincerely apologize to everyone who has encountered issues playing these games.

The Grand Theft Auto series — and the games that make up this iconic trilogy — are as special to us as we know they are to fans around the world. The updated versions of these classic games did not launch in a state that meets our own standards of quality, or the standards our fans have come to expect.

We have ongoing plans to address the technical issues and to improve each game going forward. With each planned update, the games will reach the level of quality that they deserve to be.

A new Title Update is on the way in the coming days for all versions of Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition that will address a number of issues. We will update everyone as soon as it is live.

In the meantime, it pains us to mention that we are hearing reports of members of the development teams being harassed on social media. We would kindly ask our community to please maintain a respectful and civil discourse around this release as we work through these issues.

While one of the goals of the Definitive Editions was to allow players to enjoy these games on modern platforms for many years to come, we also understand that some of you would still like to have the previous classic versions available for purchase.

We will be adding the classic PC versions of Grand Theft Auto III, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas back to the Rockstar Store shortly as a bundle. Additionally, everyone who has purchased Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition for PC from the Rockstar Store through June 30, 2022, will receive these classic versions in their Rockstar Games Launcher library at no additional cost. We will update everyone as soon as these are back in the Rockstar Store.

Once again, we’d like to thank everyone for their patience and understanding while we work through these updates to ensure these games meet everyone’s justifiably high standards.

Battlefield 2042 CS:GO Stickers Are a Real Thing, and Here’s a Look

It looks like someone at Valve is a fan of the Battlefield franchise, as there’s a Battlefield 2042 CS:GO sticker capsule available in Global Offensive! There’s a total of 12 designs, which are all available now.

According to DICE, the Battlefield 2042 map Hourglass was pretty much inspired by CS:GO’s most iconic map, de_dust.

As you can see, these are fully licensed BF2042 stickers in CS:GO, which isn’t really that surprising given how much games cross-market these days. For those playing Battlefield 2042 today, don’t forget that there’s a day-one update that got released, that included gameplay-related changes.

Both games are out now, with Battlefield 2042 available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

Marvel’s Avengers Upcoming Hero Perk Changes Outlined for Each Hero

In case you didn’t know, Crystal Dynamics isn’t only delivering a new raid and hero (for PS4, PS5 gamers) in Marvel’s Avengers this November 30, but there’s a significant overhaul of some of the game’s core systems too. For those wondering what the Marvel’s Avengers upcoming hero perk changes are, we got you covered!

Discussed by Game Designer Alex Kende in a recent devstream, check out the hero perk changes coming to each hero in Marvel’s Avengers at the end of the month!

Marvel’s Avengers Upcoming Hero Perk Changes:

Ms. Marvel

  • Stormranger’s Regalia and Stormranger’s Adornments
    • Replaced Jarvis with Embiggen Impulse, increasing stun damage while Embiggen’d
  • Marvelous Regalia
    • Replaced generic regen perk with Valorous Spirit, increasing Allies crit damage when affected by Team Spirit.
  • Stormranger’s Coat of Arms, Stormranger’s Crest and Marvelous Body Armor
    • Replaced generic regen perk with Support Empowerment, giving a moderate chance to gain an intrinsic burst when activating Team Spirit.
  • Stormranger’s Body Armor gets further updates, with both other perks being replaced with Embiggen Blessing (increasing crit chance while Embiggened) and Polymorph Reserve, increasing Ms. Marvel’s max intrinsic energy.
  • Marvelous Nega Bands and Marvelous Clasps
    • Replaced Jarvis with Polymorphic Superiority, increasing damage from Morning Star and Palm Strike attacks.

Captain America

  • Helm of the Super Soldier and Safeguard of the Super Soldier
    • Replaced generic regen perk for Brooklyn Brawler Quake, increasing stun damage while BB is active.
    • Replaced Rally cry extender (moving to another set) with Brooklyn Brawler Breaker, increasing BB damage.
  • Rampart of the Nomad
    • Replaced 3rd perk with Eagle’s Cry, increasing Rally Cry duration.
  • Stabilizer of the Super Soldier and Conduit of the Super Soldier
    • Replaced Defender’s Charge and Captain’s Combo (both of these are ok perks, but are better suited for other sets) with Powered Precision, which increases Powered ranged crit chance. Conduit of the Super Soldier now gets Rally Cry Boon, increasing crit chance of all heroes affected by Rally Cry.
  • The Exotic Stabilizer of the Super Soldier will retain Captain’s Combo and we will be looking forward to a new name in the future.

Ironman

  • Superior Mark XV Bastion
    • Replaced Jarvis and health regen while overcharged with Skyguard Reprieve, which grants intrinsic energy on picking up health packs, and Restoration Beam, which makes enemies defeated with your Unibeam (not omega beam) drop health packs.
  • Centurion’s Mark XV Doom Fists and Centurion’s Mark XIII Muon Gloves
    • Replaced weapon rate of fire increase perk (that was not working 100%; we will fix this in the future for another set) with Skyguard Dynamo, which grants bonus intrinsic energy when picking up Heroic orbs.
  • Centurion’s Mark XV R.T. Node and Centurion’s Mark XIII Muon Ray
    • Replaced missile rate of fire increase (which frustratingly didn’t stack with other perks. This will be fixed in the future. It also is still on Superior Mark XIII Muon Ray.) with Overcharge Breaker, increasing further all damage while overcharged.

Thor

  • Armor of Asgard’s Scion
    • Replaced Jarvis and Evade distance increase with Odinforce Recovery, increasing health regen drastically while Odinforce is active, and Warrior’s Fury’s Impulse, increasing all stun damage while Warrior’s Fury is active.
  • Cincture of Asgard’s Scion
    • Replaced Jarvis with Aesir’s Blitz, increasing Unarmed damage by 30%.
  • Girdle of the Thunderer
    • Replaced Odinforce regen perk that wasn’t activating on all attacks with Odin’s Flight, which increases Odinforce regeneration while flying.
  • Hilt of Asgard’s Scion
    • Replaced Odin’s Flight (which got moved) with Eitri’s Breaker, which increases Hammer damage when used for Melee.

Black Widow

  • Natalia’s Cloak and Natalia’s Embrace
    • Replaced Jarvis with Stealth Amplifier, increasing status buildup while invisible.
  • Red Room Uniform and Red Room Corset
    • Replaced evade extension and Dazed Immunity for Stealth Recovery, which drastically increases health regen while invisible, and Leeching Strike, which heals a small portion of max health on attack.
  • Natasha’s Coil and Natasha’s Ribbon
    • Both replace generic Heroic regen for Leeching Strike. Natasha’s Coil replaces the third regen perk for Arsenal Blessing, increasing weapon critical chance.
  • Red Room Grasps
    • Replaced Jarvis with Infiltrator’s Vengeance that gives a blanket chance on defeating any enemy to drop an intrinsic orb.

Rockstar Games Apologizes for GTA The Trilogy, Promises Title Update and Return of Classic Editions for PC

Looks like the folks behind the Grand Theft Auto franchise have heard the complaints from fans, as Rockstar Games ha sapologized for GTA The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition, and promises a title update and the return of the classic editions for PC to its digital store.

In a post made on their official website, Rockstar addressed the feedback they’ve heard from the GTA community — specifically the numerous bugs and glitches that The Definitive Edition had that caused numerous problems for those who bought the game. To make up for their faults and fix things, the company has promised that a new title update will be arriving soon for all versions of the game released on PC and consoles.

Additionally, Rockstar also announced that they will be adding the classic editions of GTA 3, Vice City, and San Andreas back to the Rockstar Store soon.

We will be adding the classic PC versions of Grand Theft Auto III, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas back to the Rockstar Store shortly as a bundle. Additionally, everyone who has purchased Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition for PC from the Rockstar Store through June 30, 2022, will receive these classic versions in their Rockstar Games Launcher library at no additional cost. Reputation System, Trials Engrams, and Adept Farming

Win individual rounds within each match to gain trials reputation.The amount of reputation you gain increases with each round you’ve won on your card. Earn enough reputation, and you’ll be able to claim a Trials Engram from Saint-14! This engram can be focused into any currently available trials loot you have previously obtained, or it can be taken to Master Rahool for a random Trials drop. Your reputation increases after every match completion, based on the amount of round-wins on your card, regardless of the result of that match itself (win or lose, 0-5 or 5-4).

Once you have gone flawless, keep playing! Every win on your still-flawless card will give you a chance at bonus, additional post-match drops of the Adept weapon for that week. Once you lose a game, you will no longer get these adept drops. However, still winning games at 7 wins even on a non-flawless can can drop bonus trials engrams, prisms, and even ascendant shards.

When you’re done, you can cash in your 7-win passage for one additional adept drop, granted you have gone flawless that week. This resets your card so you can start anew.

Xûr, Agent of the Nine, is a strange vendor who randomly appears in a Public Sector on one of the Worlds. Xûr sells Exotic equipment and only takes Legendary Shards in exchange for them.

TL;DR: He’s the Santa Claus of Destiny and every weekend is Christmas. Sometimes he brings you what you want, sometimes he brings you coal. Mostly it’s coal.

Just yesterday, the developers released the long-awaited Quality of Life patch 2 for the PS5 and Xbox Series X. This huge patch includes Quality of Life Improvements, Bug Fixes, and more. Check out the list of QoL improvements now available in Hell Let Loose.

  • Changed map rotation on all servers to be randomised
  • Optimisation to significantly improve loading times
  • Optimisation to improve matchmaking times
  • Optimisation to reduce the amount of in-game stuttering through improved streaming speeds
  • Optimisation to improve overall visual quality of the game
  • Matchmaking optimisation to improve ping times and network stability through improved region selection and packet loss consideration
  • Added an option to toggle steady aim on/off
  • Added an option to adjust scoped weapon sensitivity
  • Added option to adjust volume of each voice channel individually
  • The “HUD Display Mode” is now set to “Always On” by default
  • Removed locked sectors from appearing on the HUD
  • Adjusted sizing of certain map icons and text on the in-game map to be more readable

EA Tiburon has released the Madden 22 update 1.009 patch for both last-gen and next-gen platforms today, November 19! This is an unannounced title update, and is the second title update this month, with the first one including a host of gameplay-related changes. Curious what’s new? Read on.

Week 10: Who’s Up

CeeDee Lamb | WR | Dallas Cowboys 

CeeDee Lamb helped propel his team to a win on Sunday with a two-touchdown game against the Falcons. Lamb secured six receptions on seven targets for 94 yards and two scores. In his last five games, Lamb has posted two 100-plus yard outings with five total touchdowns. The Madden Ratings Adjustor team is boosting Lamb’s OVR this week as a result.

Jonathan Taylor | HB | Indianapolis Colts

Jonathan Taylor averaged an impressive 5.5 yards per carry on his 21 attempts for 116 yards and a touchdown against the Jaguars on Sunday. Taylor has been a dominant force this season out of the Colts backfield. He’s scored in every game dating back to Week 4 and has five 100-plus yard games in that span. He’s getting an OVR boost ahead of Week 11, putting him at a strong 88 OVR.

Najee Harris | HB | Pittsburgh Steelers

The Steelers rookie running back handled 30 touches against the Lions on Sunday. He racked up 105 rush yards and 28 receiving yards in the game, and while he didn’t find the end zone, his versatility was on display. As a result of his strong performance, the Madden Ratings Adjustor team is bumping Harris’ OVR ahead of Week 11 to an 82 OVR. Not bad for a rookie.

Week 10: Who’s Down

Lamar Jackson | QB | Baltimore Ravens

It was an off night for Lamar Jackson in a loss against the Dolphins on Thursday. He went 26-43 passing with 238 yards, one touchdown and one pick, and added 39 rush yards on nine carries. Overall, Jackson is having a good season statistically, but this speedbump will result in his overall rating dropping slightly ahead of Week 11.

Matthew Stafford | QB | Los Angeles Rams

After a blistering first half, Matthew Stafford struggled for the second straight week in a loss to the 49ers. He threw for 243 yards with one touchdown and two interceptions, putting his TD:INT ratio over the last two games at 2:4. As a result, the Madden Ratings Adjustor team is bumping Staffords OVR rating down for the second week in a row as the Rams head into a Week 11 bye.

Battlefield 2042 DM7 Gun Guide

Enjoying Battlefield 2042 so far? If so, we have quite a few guides up that may help you enjoy it all the more. In this latest one, we take a look at the DM7, one of the DMRs (designated marksman rifles) in Battlefield 2042, and how it stacks against other weapons in the same class.

Battlefield 2042 DM7 Gun Guide:

1. DAMAGE & FIRE RATE

Base = 35 ~ 26

Headshots = 66.5 ~ 49.4

Fire rate = 300 RPM

The Fire Power stat isn’t a damage of a weapon!

2. BTK (bullets to kill)
Armor Base 1 Headshot 2 Headshots

One Armor Plate adds 20 Health to an Infantry, giving you 120 Health in total.

Compared to the damage profile for other DMRs, DM7 isn’t impressive at all.

Its headshot efficiency isn’t that good either.

3. Range

75m

The range on DM7 is longer than that on an AR or an LMG, of course. But I feel like it’s still too short, considering it’s meant to be used for a mid to long range combat.

On the contrast, the range on SVK is extremly long that I couldn’t even measure it on the portal map I was testing on.

4. TTK (time to kill)

TTK on this gun is so high that you basically have to pray that your opponent in a shoot-off will miss shots even when you’re being perfectly accurate, or you’re going to lose every time.

However, as you are all aware, a majority of weapons in the game currently have an awful spread radius. This might make DM7 a bit more viable.

5. Recoil

The recoil on DM7 is okay, but horizontally might be a problem beyond a certain distance.

One thing to keep in mind is that a DMR gets extremely inaccurate when firing while moving. Make sure you’re standing still when firing this gun.

6. Attachments
  • Silencer – The silencer doesn’t actually reduce DM7’s range. It does, however, reduce its damage by 10%. It increases the overall BTK by 1, making the TTK significantly slower.
  • High Power Ammunition – With this attachment, the range on DM7 extends up to more than 300m, just like SVK’s, which wasn’t really possible to measure on the portal map I was testing on. However, with a slower fire rate, the TTK on the DM7 gets painfully long. While the range does go up a good chunk, where this gun already suffers from TTK problems, I highly suggest you avoid this attachment.
  • Close Combat Ammunition – This ammunition reduces the range from 75m to 40m. Usually this gun only has 2 damage radiuses, but this ammo adds one more at 81m. Beyond that, the damage falls down to 22. In return for the lower range, it gets the same TTK as SVK. Is it good? Well, kind of depends on your play style. If you enjoy sticking with your squad mates up on the front like, playing a bit aggressively, then this ammunition is a good choice. However, if you would rather staying behind and supporting allies from a distance, avoid it. SVK is just better at that style of gameplay anyways, though.
  • Extended Barrel – It reduces the fire rate by a lot, making the already slow TTK way too slow. The benefit it provides is too small. You want to avoid this attachment under all circumstances.
7. Recommended Build
  • An optic of your choice
  • Standard Issue Ammunition / Close Combat Ammunition
  • Grenade Launcher / +Hipfire Accuracy / Factory Mounts
  • + Horizontal Recoil Control / Factory Barrel

Some might think that the grenade launcher is a weird recommendation.

However, compared to SVK, the strength DM7 is its bigger magazine. That allows a player to play more aggressively and is more versatile. This gun isn’t so much about staying back. To take advantage of the gun’s strengths you need to be on the frontlines with your teammates. I was thinking, “How can I maximize that playstyle for this gun?” The grenade launcher is a good choice for that. Especially the smoke grenade launcher.

The laser sight has helped me personally in some situation. If you don’t need it, you can just leave the factory mount slot empty.

PSN Down Reports Surfacing This November 19, Affects PS Plus & More

Some PlayStation gamers are reporting (PlayStation Network) PSN down comments over on the game’s subreddit. It looks like some players aren’t able to log in or play online multiplayer, though it’s not known currently which regions are affected. Based on a few commenters, PlayStation Plus (PS Plus) is showing up as inactive, even if their membership isn’t set to lapse just yet.

Currently, the official Ask PlayStation Twitter account has not acknowledged the situation, and the official PSN status page has no mention of any outage, either. However, over on downdetector, you can clearly see the spike in outages reported, which means this is affecting quite a number of people.

We’re keeping an eye out for this one, and will update the post if we have anything tangible to share. In the meantime, go share whether PS Plus and PSN is working for you, and where you’re located, so other gamers will have an idea.

Splitgate Update 1.13 Warps in for November Update Today Nov. 19

1047 Games has released the Splitgate update 1.13 patch this November 19, and this is for the game’s big November update! Players can expect new seasonal challenges, rewards, content and gameplay tweaks. This title update has been rolled out during the game’s maintenance period, which will last for about an hour.

Splitgate Update 1.13 Patch Notes | Splitgate November Update Patch Notes:

No official patch notes have been revealed yet, as the devs want the new stuff to be a surprise! That said, there’s an acknowledgement of the patch, which is embedded below.

Servers will be taken offline one hour from now and will be back online up to one hour after that. If you are playing a game at this time, you will be kicked without warning.

This will be for our mid-November update! We think you’re gunna love it…

Black Desert Online Update 2.08 Released for More Crash Fixes This November 19

Pearl Abyss has released the Black Desert Online update 2.08 patch this November 19, and this is to help mitigate crashing issues with the game. This is the same kind of patch that we got yesterday, but this one is more specific. Check out the patch notes below.

Black Desert Online Update 2.08 Patch Notes:

Adventurers,

A minor patch has been released that is a step in addressing the crash issues and help optimize the game play environment.

● An issue where the game crashes when using the ‘Memory Optimizer’ through Ring Menu while there are fully unloaded effects around the character.

If you are currently connected to Black Desert, you will need to restart your game in order to download the update.

For adventurers already in-game, you will need to turn off the game and check for updates on your console.

We apologize for the inconvenience caused by the issues recently affecting the game, and will continue to improve the stability of the service.

Xbox Head “Evaluating” Relationship With Activision; Employee Petition to Remove Kotick Hits Over 500 Signatures

With the allegations surfacing earlier this week that Activision’s own CEO, Bobby Kotick, was fully aware of the ongoing sexual misconduct at Activision Blizzard, it would seem that the employees have begun to rally up, with a recent employee walkout taking place just a couple of days ago, and now a petition to remove the CEO from his position, which has already gathered over 500 employees signatures. 

“We, the undersigned, no longer have confidence in the leadership of Bobby Kotick as the CEO of Activision Blizzard.” The petition states, ” The information that has come to light about his behaviors and practices in the running of our companies runs counter to the culture and integrity we require of our leadership—and directly conflicts with the initiatives started by our peers. We ask that Bobby Kotick remove himself as CEO of Activision Blizzard, and that shareholders be allowed to select the new CEO without the input of Bobby, who we are aware owns a substantial portion of the voting rights of the shareholders.”

In related news, with PlayStation’s head Jim Ryan reportedly informing employees of a memo sent out to Activision, criticizing them of their recent response to the allegations against Bobby Kotick, it appears that Xbox has joined the fray, as Bloomberg has apparently received an email,  where Xbox boss Phil Spencer was disapproving of Activision’s recent actions, and even going as far as stating that they will be evaluating their current relationship with the company.

“disturbed and deeply troubled by the horrific events and actions,” Phil Spencer said, ““This type of behavior has no place in our industry,” 

The email notes that the company will be making “ongoing proactive adjustments,” and that their relationship with Activision is evaluated on “all aspects.”

This is just one of the many major developments to come out this week, and although board members have defended Kotick’s response, and remains confident with his leadership, the pressure continues to grow as more and more employees begin to speak out, with major publishers such as Xbox and PlayStation coming to their defense. Regarding Steph Curry, here’s what Visual Concepts had to say:

Make no mistake, Nikola Jokić earned his MVP win last year, but Curry was also more than deserving of the prestigious award. The former Davidson Wildcat was on a mission in 2020 and he’s carried that momentum into this season. The former MVP and three-time champion has hoisted the Warriors to the best record in the league (12-2) across 14 games, and they look unstoppable. Just when you think Curry can’t amaze you anymore, he does something that makes you question whether he was genetically engineered in a lab to make him utterly invincible. The out-of-this-world superstar is receiving a one-point bump to his rating, and it’s entirely possible it rises again in the future.

Visual Concepts on Kevin Durant’s +1 OVR rating:

KD is undeniably one of the greatest players, and scorers, of all time, but what he’s doing in his 14th season is remarkable—especially when you consider the torn achilles tendon he suffered a couple years back. Durant is currently leading the league in scoring, averaging 29.6 points per game; if the season ended today, he’d earn the fifth scoring title of his illustrious career. It’s hard to imagine a world where Durant gets better than he already is, but somehow he continues to exceed expectations, resulting in a bump to his 2K rating.

Battlefield 2042 PBX-45 Gun Guide

Enjoying Battlefield 2042 so far? If so, we have quite a few guides up that may help you enjoy it all the more. In this one, we take a look at the PBX-45, one of the submachine guns in Battlefield 2042, and how it stacks against other weapons in the same class.

Battlefield 2042 PBX-45 Gun Guide:

1. DAMAGE & FIRE RATE

Base = 26 ~ 22 ~ 18

Headshots = 52~ 44 ~ 36

Fire rate = 800 RPM

“I checked my stats before the game and know my bullets… Why didn’t he go down after 3 shots?! That should be way more than his entire health…” Because the Fire Power stat is a lie, my friend.

Fire Power is a combination of, like… velocity and range and…. Look, it’s a number the developers just came up with, honestly. I’m not sure why they weren’t more straight forward with the stat, but just because the Fire Power is a certain number, doesn’t mean your gun does that damage.

2. BTK (Bullets to kill)

One Armor Plate adds 20 Health to an Infantry, giving you 120 Health in total.

The specialist Irish has 10 bonus Armor, meaning adding an Armor Plate gives a 130 Health

As you can see on the chart above, Headshots can help at any range.

3. Range

10m ~ 20m ~ 40m

The range on PBX-45 is actually shorter than PP-29’s.

MP9 on the other hand has a shorter first range radius, but a longer max range radius.

4. TTK (Time to kill)

TTK for this gun is just okay. Quite mediocre. It starts to fall off a lot once you get beyond the first damage radius, especially against an Armor Plated enemy.

5. Recoil

PBX-45’s recoil is highly controllable, but the bullets bounce horizontally a lot. Even though it’s not ideal for an SMG, if you decide to use this gun for mid-range combat, you’ll need some horizontal recoil attachments.

6. Attachments
  • Silencer – Even though it says that the silencer decreases the range, that’s not entirely true. At any range, the silencer reduces damage by 10%. It does reduce the range, but only the first range radius. From 10m to 5m. There are two kinds of silencers in the game, but they work exactly the same. You can choose whichever one you like the look of more .
  • High Power Ammunition – High Power Ammunition doesn’t increase the first damage radius, but the second and third go up by 10m. Making it 10m~30m~50m.
  • Close Combat Ammunition – I recommend this ammunition a lot. It says it reduces the gun’s effective range, and in return adds recoil control, reload speed, and rate of fire. But the range it knocks off is only from the max range, and just from 40m to 30m. When you think about it, over 30m is already not an ideal distance for any SMG, and that’s not why we play those guns in the first place. The increased Fire Rate reduces TTK by a lot, and the other bonuses are nice too.

  • +Accuracy While Moving / +Hipfire Accuracy
  • + Horizontal Recoil Control / Silencer

COD Vanguard November 18 Update Patch Notes; Reduces Bloom & More Changes Now Out

While Sledgehammer Games just released a patch for (Call of Duty) COD Vanguard, the studio has rolled out the COD Vanguard November 18 update today! This update includes changes to weapons, perks and more! Read on for the full details. For details on yesterday’s title update, head on over here.

MULTIPLAYER

  • Weapon Tuning
    • Reduced the effects of ADS Spread (aka Bloom) on base weapons (without attachments).
      • Dev Note: Attachments improving Accuracy will reduce ADS Spread. Attachments with Accuracy penalties will increase the effects of ADS Spread. 
    • Balance pass on all Shotguns affecting range, pellet spread, hipfire penalty, and more.
  • Weapon Challenges
    • Fixed an issue where the MK11 launcher’s Long Shot Challenges were not tracking.
    • Corrected a mislabeled Proficiency required for the Mind Games Challenge for the Automaton.
    • Fixed a bug preventing the player from completing the Deadeye Challenge for the Fighting Knife.
  • UI – Gameplay
    • Fixed the Search and Destroy bomb glitch where players could see when an enemy was defusing the bomb.
  • Perks
    • Fixed the Gung Ho sprint speed shooting glitch – Slow down, friends.
  • Field Upgrade
    • Fixed a bug where players had 10x the amount of Armor HP than normal.
  • Challenges
    • Fixed a bug where the Grizzled Veteran Challenge – Get 50 Eliminations in Objective Modes was not tracking properly.
  • XP
    • Operators’ favorite weapons now provide the correct amount of XP when used.
  • Clan Tags
    • You know you shouldn’t be rocking the SHG, IW, and Raven tags. Now we’ve made it so you can’t.

ZOMBIES

  • Exfil
    • Addressed an issue where the player could still interact with the Exfil portal after failing to Exfil.
  • Progression
    • Corrected the MVP Highlight unlock text that displays when reaching Level 5 with Solange.
  • Covenants
    • Addressed an issue where Legendary Covenants were still not appearing for some players.

Hunt Showdown 60fps Coming to PS5 and XSX in Update 1.7; Twitch Drops Campaign Announced

Crytek is prepping for a big Hunt Showdown patch in the future, and the developer shared a major change coming for that patch in a brief announcement. As shared on their Reddit, Hunt Showdown will support 60fps on the PS5 and the Xbox Series X|S once Update 1.7 goes live on consoles. Check out the details below.

The announcement was made via the official Hunt Showdown subreddit, where users rejoiced for the welcome news.

Hey everyone,

We would like to announce that with Update 1.7 we will remove the cap of 30 FPS for the Xbox Series S/X and PS5. This will allow those of you on the newest generation of consoles to play Hunt at up to 60FPS.

The team is always working to improve the gameplay experience for as many players as we can. A lot of big features are coming with Update 1.7 such as the reconnect support feature and custom loadouts. So, we felt this was the perfect time to add one more long standing community request to that list.

So what are the next steps?

In the new year, we will be working to bring some improvements to the previous generation of consoles. Our next step will be to ensure a consistent and stable 30 FPS for all our players on Xbox One & Playstation 4.

It’s important to note that while Update 1.7 is now live on PC, Crytek has not yet released the exact date for the console patch that will include this 60fps patch for Hunt Showdown on the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.

In addition to this announcement, Crytek also announced that Twitch Drops will soon be coming to Hunt Showdown, with more details to be revealed next Monday:

Fans of Hunt: Showdown will be able to grab a host of gear as well as a new Legendary Hunter as part of the game’s latest Twitch Drops campaign, launching for a week from Wednesday (24th November).

To collect Drops rewards, players must connect their Twitch accounts to their game accounts and simply start watching their favourite Hunt: Showdown streamers throughout the week.
