Borderlands 3 Vault Card 3: Bunker Master Now Out – Here’s Everything New

Borderlands 3 received a major update today as its Vault Card 3 called Bunker Master has been officially released. While you can check out the finer details of that latest patch by heading over to the official patch notes linked below, here is everything new that came with this latest major update.

BUNKER MASTERS

Vault Card 3 is all about paying tribute to Bunkers & Badasses, conjuring visions of chaotic fantasy made possible by tabletop battles, coveted custom dice, and meticulously painted miniatures. Between Bunker Masters and the recently released Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep: A Wonderlands One-Shot Adventure, you’ll have everything you need to embody the spirit of Bunkers & Badasses before Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands launches on March 25, 2022.

There are 28 unique rewards to be unlocked in Vault Card 3, with the full item breakdown below. If you’ve scored all the cosmetic and gear rewards, you can still earn endless Eridium and maybe even some of those coveted Diamond Keys!

  • 4 pieces of new Legendary gear (2 Assault Rifles, Grenade Mod, Shield)
  • 4 Vault Hunter Heads
  • 4 shared Vault Hunter Skins
  • 4 ECHO Device Skins
  • 3 Weapon Skins
  • 5 Weapon Trinkets
  • 3 Emotes
  • 1 Room Decoration

Remember, you can only have one Vault Card active at a time, each with their own Daily and Weekly Challenges to complete. Regardless of whether you’ve completed them or not, Daily Challenges refresh every day at 9:00 AM PT / 12:00 PM ET, and Weekly Challenges refresh on Thursdays at 9:00 AM PT / 12:00 PM ET.

In addition to this new Vault Card, a limited-time co-op event has also been announced by publisher 2K. From November 18 at 9:00 AM PT to November 25 at 8:59 AM PT, all Badass enemies will drop more loot when you’re playing co-op in online multiplayer or local split-screen. The bigger your co-op party, the more loot you’ll see drop.

Borderlands 3 is available now on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Stadia, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.

Halo Infinite Matchmade Games Now Award XP for Battle Pass; Additional XP Changes Detailed

Halo Infinite‘s stealth beta launch for its multiplayer component was highly popular amongs a ton of players, but its overall progression for the Season 1 Battle Pass has been criticized. However, it would appear that 343 Industries is listening intently to player feedback, as it was announced that Halo Infinite matchmade games now award XP, something that was not present in its first iteration. Check out details on this as well as additional changes for the XP system below.

The XP changes for Halo Infinite were detailed on Twitter, where Halo Support split it into four parts:

#HaloInfinite players can now earn XP by completing matchmade games. The “Play 1 Game” Daily Challenge is worth 50 XP each. The Challenge deck is also being updated to better serve players of all skill levels. (1/4)
The #HaloInfinite team has also resolved issues with the following Challenges which were causing progress to not be tracked: Heat of the Moment, It Bears Repeating, Jorge Would Be Proud, and Ultra Tech. (2/4)
Additionally, XP Boosts will now last for 1 hour rather than 30 minutes. The in-game tooltip may continue to show 30 minutes as their expected duration, but the Boost’s timer will start from 60 minutes once activated. (3/4)
As a result of these changes, all progress on active Daily and Weekly Challenges will need to be reset, however, all players who sign-in between November 23-30 will receive this week’s Ultimate Reward: the Sigil Mark VII Visor. (4/4)
Community director Brian Jarrard noted that these changes are only the first, and appreciates the community feedback on Halo Infinite.
What do you think of these XP changes for Halo Infinite? Let us know in the comments below!

Sifu New Release Date Announced, Combat System Overview Trailer Released

Originally set to be released this February 22, 2022, Sloclap has announced the Sifu new release date, and it moved up to February 8, 2022!  In addition to that, there’s a new combat system overview trailer released by the developers to promote how the game plays.

First off, here’s the trailer announcement from Slocap that proudly announces the Sifu new release date!

And here’s the combat system overview trailer, showing how precise and detailed the developers were in integrating martial arts moves and skill into this game that sees the passage of time — and a warrior who started as a beginner slowly matures into a skilled and experienced Kung Fu master.

Originally set for a February 22 release date next year, Sifu’s release date has been bumped up two weeks earlier thanks to work progression on the game being steady and Sloclap being pleased with the results. The game is an action-adventure title played from the third-person, and is said to contain over a 150 different attacks and moves which can be chained together to perform combos — much like different martial arts games in the past such as the Shenmue and Yakuza series.

If you missed the previous trailer for Sifu that showcased the different editions the game will have, check it out here.

Sifu will be released for PS5, PS4, and PC on February 8, 2022.

For now, the developers have not released the official patch notes just yet, though we’re expecting that to change within the day. Given the size of the patch, we are expecting quite a number of changes, and maybe a surprise feature or something to be included. However, the game’s official Twitter account kind of teased something yesterday, which is most likely tied to this title update.

According to a reply to a fan, there is “some unfinished business” which could mean anything from new bosses, quests, characters or just bug fixes.

Once we know what’s in this patch, we’ll update the post ASAP. You can read our review of the game right here, and we also had an interview with the studio before the game launched.

Update: Post has been updated to reflect the new content and multitude of gameplay-related changes in today’s title update!

Guardians of the Galaxy Ray Tracing Mode Tested on PS5; Here’s a Comparison of the Differences

If you’re wondering how much difference the next-gen of consoles has to offer in terms of graphical capabilities, then look no further, as we have footage of Guardians of the Galaxy ray tracing mode in action. Head down below for our footage tested on the PS5 and compared to the standard mode side-by-side.

As you can see in the footage, we compared the Quality mode versus with ray tracing turned on in Guardians of the Galaxy on PS5, and one of the biggest differences were in the reflections. However, as ray tracing is kind of heavy on the processing, expect the frame rate and resolution to take a hit when this is turned on; ultimately it’s up to you if you want better visuals versus better frame rates.

You can also check out our 9.5/10 review of Guardians of the Galaxy here, where our own Jimmy Lara wrote, “The expectations that I had for this game were unsurprisingly low, and in fact, I had zero interest in even playing it. That would have been a major mistake on my part, and if you are someone who is jaded by the release of Marvel’s Avengers, rest assured Guardians of the Galaxy is everything you could want out of a Marvel Game. It’s fun, entertaining, and quite possibly one of the best games this year. I’ll say it, it might just be my personal Game of the Year.”

Enlisted Update 1.000.076 Patch Notes; Out for Fixes and Changes This Nov. 18

Darkflow Software has released the Enlisted update 1.000.076 November 18 patch, which brings new features and changes to the game. Head down below for the complete patch notes.

Enlisted Update 1.000.076 Patch Notes:

  • Fixed the colour of bunker walls in the Fortified District mission.
  • Changed the pose of soldiers with a Charlton automatic rifle in the Soldiers menu.
  • Canceled the increase of the minimum distance to the capture zone when setting up an engineering Rally point. We’ll tell you more about our plans in a separate devblog. Stay tuned.

As for the last change, Darkflow revealed more on the separate devblog which you can read below:

As an extremely useful game mechanic which will always be in the center of your attention, we thought it would be good to keep you updated as to upcoming changes involving rally points.

In the last “Making Enlisted a Better Place” we set out our goal of correcting a situation where rally points could be built too close to capture zones. This occurred due to an incorrect calculation of the minimum distance at which the game allows you to build the rally point.

Unfortunately, our fix affected not only the capturing of zones with complex shapes (which was the initial issue) but it also affected all capture points in the game far too much.

Right now, we’re going to cancel the implemented distance increase and, in one of the future updates, we’ll fix the distance calculation errors for capture zones with complex shapes. In this implementation, the improvement will fix some problematic spots that upset the balance of the game and, for the majority of the remaining points, the allowable distance will remain the same.

That’s about it for the patch.
