Ratchet & Clank 2016 to Get 60fps Patch for PS5 This April

One of the best Ratchet & Clank games is getting a visual upgrade for Sony’s latest PlayStation system, as Ratchet & Clank 2016 gets a 60fps patch for the PS5 this April — giving the game a boost in graphics, frame rate, and presentation when played in the next generation system.

Here’s the announcement of the patch from Insomniac Games themselves.

Ratchet & Clank (2016) will be playable in 60 FPS on PS5 after a new update in April! As part of the Play at Home campaign, download the game for free now through 3/31.

Considered a re-imagining of the first game as well as being based on the feature film adaptation by Rainmaker Entertainment and Blockade Entertainment that was released that same year, Ratchet & Clank is based on the long running Insomniac Games series of the same name — which follows a Lombax mechanic named Ratchet and his robotic companion named Clank as they traverse harsh environments and obstacles through the course of the adventure. The game was originally released for the PS4 — but is now free to play and downloadable via the PlayStation Store as part of Sony’s Play at Home initiative.

Black Ops Cold War Season 2 Reloaded Patch Notes and New Content Revealed

While PlayStation gamers might have already pre-loaded the Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Season 2 Reloaded data ahead of the mid-season update hitting tonight, Treyarch has now released the official Black Ops Cold War Season 2 Reloaded patch notes! This includes the much-awaited weapon tuning changes, new content and more.

That’s not all. Treyarch has also announced that Gunsmith Customs which will allow players to create their own custom Blueprints, the launch of Gunfight Tournaments, and the sixth weapon of the season — the ZRG 20mm sniper rifle — will be available at a later date.

Monster Hunter Rise Has Shipped 4 Million Units in Physical and Digital Sales

March 26 was a big day for Monster Hunter fans the world over, as Monster Hunter Rise was finally unleashed for the Nintendo Switch — and the game has already shipped four million units in physical and digital sales since it was released.

Capcom of Japan shared the big news on their official website via press release.

Capcom Co., Ltd. (Capcom) today announced that Monster Hunter Rise for Nintendo Switch has shipped 4 million units worldwide.

The Monster Hunter series consists of hunting action games that pit players against giant monsters in a beautiful natural environment. Beginning with the first title in 2004, the series established a new genre in which players cooperate to hunt ferocious monsters with their friends and has since grown into a global phenomenon with cumulative sales of the series exceeding 66 million units shipped as of December 31, 2020.

Monster Hunter Rise is an all-new Monster Hunter title for Nintendo Switch. The game was developed with Capcom’s proprietary RE ENGINE in order to provide a new, accessible Monster Hunter experience that can be enjoyed anytime, anywhere and with anyone. In addition to new monsters and locales, the game provides a completely fresh take on the hunting experience through a host of new, exhilarating hunting actions made possible with the Wirebug. With this, players can traverse rocky cliffs via the Wall Run, soar over craggy terrain and through the air at high speed, or even bind monsters and control them. Further adding to the excitement is the debut of new “canyne” hunting partners called Palamutes, which hunters can ride to quickly navigate the maps. The title garnered critical acclaim following the release of two demos featuring both local and online cooperative play prior to launch, with resulting shipments exceeding 4 million units.

Apex Legends Update 1.63 March 29 Jumps Out (Update)

Respawn Entertainment has released the Apex Legends update 1.63 March 29 patch today. This is a relatively small download clocking in at just 440MB on consoles. Given the size, don’t expect anything new in terms of content, as this unannounced patch is once again for bug fixes mainly.

Unfortunately, Respawn has not issued a changelog for today’s patch just yet, though we expect that to change soon. In the meantime, we’ve listed the main isssues that the studio has addressed for the game, which is about log-in problems. Here’s what got shared by the studio via the official Apex Legends Trello board:

Sony Shuts Down Browser Version of PlayStation Store Selling PS3, PSP, and PS Vita Games

Looks like the rumors of PlayStation possibly removing its support of past generation systems may hold water, as Sony shuts down a browser version of the PlayStation Store — which was selling PS3, PSP, and PS Vita games.

According to a ResetEra post by a user called Raoh, there was an accessible browser version of the PS Store that allowed users to still buy their favorite PS3, PSP, PS Vita, and PSOne Classics titles. That has since changed as the moderators have updated the site and those are no longer accessible to anyone visiting right now.

Until yesterday March 27th, we were still able to access the old webstore through a link to make ps3-ps2-psp-ps1 purchases of digital games and DLC, but that is no longer the case. The link now redirects us to the new sucky white webstore that only includes ps4 and ps5 games and doesnt feature a proper download list or wishlist.

It seems that for now we are stuck purchasing ps3 digital games solely through the slow Psn store inside the ps3 console.

Hopefully we can find means to still access the old webstore, but right now there isn’t.

We previously reported the rumor that Sony was going to close its PS Store offerings for PS3, PSP, and PS Vita. This adds fuel to the reports that the service is going to shut down, and it also leads to speculation that Sony will find a way to honor legacy games with the recent patent the company made for awarding trophies via emulation of older games.

Cyberpunk 2077 Update 1.20 March 29 Now Live

It seems CD Projekt RED’s “coming soon” announcement for the upcoming Cyberpunk 2077 patch means today! The Cyberpunk 2077 update 1.20 March 29 patch is now live on all platforms. Head on below for the long list of patch notes, which includes fixes in the hundreds!

Cyberpunk 2077 Update 1.20 March 29 Patch Notes:

Gameplay

  • The NCPD spawn radius for when the player commits a crime has been increased.
  • New Steering Sensitivity slider added to Controls settings. Allows reducing steering speed for all vehicles, on all input devices. Particularly useful for keyboard users.
  • Adjusted the vehicle steering code to work better in low and extreme high frame rate situations to produce more consistent results. Improves steering on base consoles noticeably.
  • Unstuck Rocking/Rotating feature added to all vehicles. Use Left Stick or A/D W/S or LShift/LCtrl to engage rocking and rotating to stuck/beached vehicles to try and free them.
  • Minor driving model tune revisions to some vehicles to improve steering, cure excessive body roll and oversteer.
  • Fixed an issue where aiming while under the effect of the “Berserk” cyberware moved the crosshair with no input from the player.
  • Adjusted fire rate of the helicopter turret in Love Like Fire.
  • Police vehicles will no longer immediately despawn after getting into Kerry’s car during Rebel! Rebel!
  • Fixed an issue where Projectile Launch System had no cooldown.
  • Bump reaction for friendly NPCs has been disabled.
  • Fixed an issue where grappled enemies played voice lines as if the player bumped into them.

  • Transmigration trait is now unlockable at Breach Protocol level 20, rather than 16. Players who unlocked Transmigration pre-level 20 and did not yet reach that level will have the trait locked and Perk Points for it restored.
  • Getting knocked down by vehicles no longer kills V after unlocking ‘The Rock” perk.
  • Fixed an issue where switching the weapon in the inventory two times in a row could result in the weapon not being displayed in-game.

PC-specific

  • Enabled Ray Tracing on AMD graphics cards. Latest GPU drivers are required.
  • Keyboard bindings: more keys are now available for rebinding.
  • Keyboard bindings: It is now possible to bind opening and closing specific panels to the same key.
  • Keyboard bindings: It’s now possible to unbind dodge from the movement keys (in Settings -> Controls). Dodging can still be performed by double-tapping the crouch (toggle) action key (default C).
  • It is now possible to enter Journal from the Map panel using a keyboard.
  • Achievements will now work on Epic Games Store.
  • Modding: Added a new “mod” folder for loading modded archives. The modded archives can be named in any way and go into the “mod” folder now. Having mod archives in the “patch” folder is no longer supported.
  • Fixed an issue that prevented grenades from being charged after closing a dialogue window using ESC.
  • Fixed the issue where some environment elements would not be displayed correctly on 8k screens.
  • Fixed an issue where HUD elements would be missing in 8K resolution.
  • Fixed an issue where perks from a certain area of the submenus were not displaying descriptions on 4K and 5K Ultra Wide resolutions.

Console-specific

  • Fixed an issue on PlayStation 4 where items couldn’t be dropped from the backpack as they would always reappear back in the inventory.
  • Fixed an issue where Johnny’s custom HUD wouldn’t be present on Xbox One during the concert scene in Love Like Fire.
  • Fixed an issue that caused the game to zoom in when pressing pause on PlayStation 4 Pro and Xbox One X.
  • Fixed a streaming issue with the elevator panel in Play it Safe on Xbox One.
  • Improved the mechanism for adjusting the UI texture resolution depending on the platform.
  • Fixed an issue that could cause the game to become unresponsive when pressing “A” immediately after deleting a save on Xbox One.
  • Fixed an issue on Xbox One that could cause the game to become unresponsive when changing profiles on the title menu.
  • Fixed an issue where loading a game save while being in a car could turn the screen black on Xbox.
  • Various memory handling optimizations on Xbox.
  • Improved Screen Space Reflections.
  • Fixed issues with Screen Space Reflections and Temporal Anti-Aliasing.
  • Fixed rendering issues when fog interacts with nearby lighting on PlayStation 4.
  • Various environment streaming and input/output improvements.
  • Various NPCs and vehicle streaming improvements.
  • Fixed multiple issues with random game freezes.
  • Fixed issues on PlayStation 4 whereby corpses with head dismembered could glitch out.
  • Fixed an issue where V could fall down the elevator shaft.
  • Fixed an issue where the game on Xbox One would become unresponsive when signing out while the controller disconnection message is visible.
  • Fixed an issue that caused the player to be unable to exit the Settings menu after making changes.
  • Claire’s truck is now properly placed in the garage in The Beast in Me.
  • Fixed the missing water surface shader on PlayStation 4.

Outriders Preload File Now Live on PlayStation & Xbox; Size and Day One Patch Detailed

Calling all Outriders! The final stretch to launch is finally here with reports of the Outriders preload now being live (varies by region) on PlayStation and Xbox consoles.

For those who are living Eastern hemisphere (Europe, Asia, ect) of the world, the Outrider preload option should now be available on PlayStation consoles. North American and other western countries will be able to download it at midnight Eastern tonight. As for Xbox owners, it seems the preload is up but only through the Xbox App (non-beta version). Further details down below can be found on how to download Outriders ahead of launch for each platform. 

Outriders Preload File Size:

PS4: 67.15GB 

PS5:  46.16GB (some 39GB)

Xbox Series X: 47.82GB 

Xbox One: 60.87GB 

Outriders Day One Patch Notes (Consoles):

The Outriders day one update should now be live across all platforms, weighing in roughly 20-24GB. Due to how compression and unpacking works on the next-gen versions of games, the completed download size will differ. 

  • Many bug fixes and improvements, with a particular focus on the latter sections of the game.

  • Performance improvements for pacing/stuttering that was observed during the demo

  • Camera Smoothing improvements for cutscenes and dialogues. This should reduce the camera shake that some players are struggling with

  • Cutscenes/dialogues frame rate improvements

    • PC cutscenes will have the option to choose from 30, 60, 90 and 120fps

    • Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 cutscenes will be locked to 60fps

    • Xbox One and PlayStation 4 cutscenes will remain locked to 30fps

Launch Times:

  • Rolling Midnight Unlock for Consoles:
    • Consoles (Xbox and PlayStation) will unlock at midnight on April 1st for your specific country.
    • For the USA, this means midnight EDT April 1st, which is 21:00 PDT on March 31st
  • Unified single global time for PC & Stadia:
    • The platforms will release on April 1st at 17:00 BST / 09:00am PDT
    • These platforms can only release at a single time globally (this is due to how their stores are set up)
    • Here is a countdown that will help you understand how long to go in your specific region.
    • This time is the standard PC release time for Square Enix and has been carefully chosen to ensure that the maximum amount of support and partner staff are on hand to deal with any launch day issues.

How to Preload Outriders on PS4 and PS5

Assuming you pre-ordered off the PlayStation Network, downloading Outriders is really easy. All you have to do it navigate to your library, search for Outriders, and you can begin to download the game. If you own a PS5, be sure you are downloading just one version to save on hard drive space. 

Alternatively you could also use the PlayStation App to download remotely. 

How to Preload Outriders on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S

It doesn’t actually seem like the preload is live for those who preordered just yet, though it should be real soon. There is a workaround, however using the Xbox App. All you have to do is search for Outriders on the storefront and the option to download it remotely will be available for both Xbox One and Xbox Series consoles.

Sadly it seems that PC is going to miss out on preloading. While People Can Fly confirmed that the Epic Game Store version of the release wouldn’t have a preload option, they did give a bit of hope for Steam users that preload may happen. Still, there’s two days left before release so it might still happen. We will be sure to update this post if that does change.

Rumor: Battlefield 2021 Titled “Battlefield,” to Feature “Abilities” Like COD Perks, & More Details

While this year’s Battlefield game hasn’t officially been given a name by EA or DICE, most people (including us) refer to it as “Battlefield 6” given the last entry in the franchise was Battlefield V (5). Well, if the latest rumor is anything to go by, DICE seems to be going with a super basic name, and calling Battlefield 2021 as simply “Battlefield.”

This new bit of info has surfaced from reliable Battlefield and Call of Duty leaker Tom Henderson, who also posted details about the campaign, and more interestingly, what he calls “Abilities” for players in multiplayer that will act like Call of Duty’s Perks!

Per his “sources,” the rumor states that Battlefield (this year’s game) will take place 10 years from now, and is set in the modern/very near future, which gives DICE to implement weapons and vehicles being developed by the military today. This means Battlefield players can expect drones, tanks, jets, and all that stuf — which should be familiar with franchise vets. Allegedly, the setting is very similar to how the Call of Duty franchise released Black Ops 2 in 2021, with the game being set 10-15 years from its release.

As for the campaign, it’s said to feature a “revolutionary campaign” compared to past Battlefield games, and will focus on you (the player) and your specialist unit. You’ll even be able to choose which superpower you want to fight for (US and/or Russia). It also mentions that this year’s campaign will be a co-op experience as well, which should be a welcome change of pace for military first-person shooter campaigns.

As for the big one regarding multiplayer, it’s described as Battlefield 3/4 “on steroids,” with players being able to play as four different types of soliders. However, instead of just having unique gadgets for each class, players will also have different “abilities” similar to how Call of Duty Perks work. One example given was how a Scout soldier/class might have silent footsteps, where an Assault soldier might be able to sprint for longer durations.

Regarding the rumored battle royale mode, it’s said to be completely disconnected from the Firestorm name (and understandably why), and will adopt a new name.

Finally, there is a little bit of bad news, as the rumor also mentions that the reveal trailer (rumored to be coming in May) will not feature gameplay  of any kind, and will be similiar to Battlefield V’s reveal trailer.

Same as with every rumor, take this one with a grain of salt. That said, Henderson’s track record has been reliable compared to other leakers, so that’s why you see it here on the site.

EA Sports PGA Tour Announced for Next-Gen Platforms

While 2K has the virtual golf sport sim genre locked up with PGA Tour 2K21. it seems a new competitor is putting out soon, as EA has announced EA Sports PGA Tour which the publisher calls “a new next-gen golf video game, currently in development” — signaling this won’t be available on PS4, Xbox One.

While there’s no trailer or release date given, EA has revealed that the golf game will use the Frostbite game engine “leveraging next-gen technology, promises stunning fidelity, breathtaking immersive environments, and approachable, dynamic gameplay.”

Here’s a few blurbs from EA and PGA Tour execs on the partnership straight from the press release:

“EA SPORTS and the PGA TOUR have created some of the most memorable golf video game experiences together, and we couldn’t be more excited to expand our sports portfolio with a new golf title on next-gen hardware,” said Cam Weber, EVP & GM, EA SPORTS. “Our team of passionate golf fans is meticulously recreating the world’s top courses such as Pebble Beach, and we can’t wait to give fans the opportunity to compete on some of the most iconic PGA TOUR courses and win the FedExCup.”

“We’ve partnered with EA SPORTS to bring immersive golf video game experiences to fans of all ages for years,” said Len Brown, PGA TOUR Chief Legal Officer and Executive Vice President Licensing and Merchandising. “We are thrilled to continue working with EA SPORTS on its golf franchise to authentically represent the PGA TOUR for the next generation. The newest game will give golf fans another way to experience their favorite sport, or to discover their passion for it.”

Cyberpunk 2077 Update 1.2 Patch Notes Revealed

Following CD Projekt RED’s oddly weird way of letting people know details about the next Cyberpunk 2077 patch which the studio calls 1.2, the studio has today revealed the huge (and complete) list of Cyberpunk 2077 update 1.2 patch notes! No exact release date has been given other than it’s “coming soon,” however.

Cyberpunk 2077 Update 1.2 Patch Notes:

Please note that the issues listed below did not affect all players.

Gameplay

  • The NCPD spawn radius for when the player commits a crime has been increased.
  • New Steering Sensitivity slider added to Controls settings. Allows reducing steering speed for all vehicles, on all input devices. Particularly useful for keyboard users.
  • Adjusted the vehicle steering code to work better in low and extreme high frame rate situations to produce more consistent results. Improves steering on base consoles noticeably.
  • Unstuck Rocking/Rotating feature added to all vehicles. Use Left Stick or A/D W/S or LShift/LCtrl to engage rocking and rotating to stuck/beached vehicles to try and free them.
  • Minor driving model tune revisions to some vehicles to improve steering, cure excessive body roll and oversteer.
  • Fixed an issue where aiming while under the effect of the “Berserk” cyberware moved the crosshair with no input from the player.

PC-specific

  • Enabled Ray Tracing on AMD graphics cards. Latest GPU drivers are required.
  • Keyboard bindings: more keys are now available for rebinding.
  • Keyboard bindings: It is now possible to bind opening and closing specific panels to the same key.
  • Keyboard bindings: It’s now possible to unbind dodge from the movement keys (in Settings -> Controls). Dodging can still be performed by double-tapping the crouch (toggle) action key (default C).
  • It is now possible to enter Journal from the Map panel using a keyboard.
  • Achievements will now work on Epic Games Store.
  • Modding: Added a new “mod” folder for loading modded archives. The modded archives can be named in any way and go into the “mod” folder now. Having mod archives in the “patch” folder is no longer supported.
  • Fixed an issue that prevented grenades from being charged after closing a dialogue window using ESC.
  • Fixed the issue where some environment elements would not be displayed correctly on 8k screens.
  • Fixed an issue where HUD elements would be missing in 8K resolution.
  • Fixed an issue where perks from a certain area of the submenus were not displaying descriptions on 4K and 5K Ultra Wide resolutions.

Console-specific

  • Fixed an issue on PlayStation 4 where items couldn’t be dropped from the backpack as they would always reappear back in the inventory.
  • Fixed an issue where Johnny’s custom HUD wouldn’t be present on Xbox One during the concert scene in Love Like Fire.
  • Fixed an issue that caused the game to zoom in when pressing pause on PlayStation 4 Pro and Xbox One X.
  • Fixed a streaming issue with the elevator panel in Play it Safe on Xbox One.
  • Improved the mechanism for adjusting the UI texture resolution depending on the platform.
  • Fixed an issue that could cause the game to become unresponsive when pressing “A” immediately after deleting a save on Xbox One.
  • Fixed an issue on Xbox One that could cause the game to become unresponsive when changing profiles on the title menu.
  • Fixed an issue where loading a game save while being in a car could turn the screen black on Xbox.
  • Various memory handling optimizations on Xbox.
  • Improved Screen Space Reflections.
  • Fixed issues with Screen Space Reflections and Temporal Anti-Aliasing.
  • Fixed rendering issues when fog interacts with nearby lighting on PlayStation 4.
  • Various environment streaming and input/output improvements.
  • Various NPCs and vehicle streaming improvements.
  • Fixed multiple issues with random game freezes.
  • Fixed issues on PlayStation 4 whereby corpses with head dismembered could glitch out.
  • Fixed an issue where V could fall down the elevator shaft.
  • Fixed an issue where the game on Xbox One would become unresponsive when signing out while the controller disconnection message is visible.
  • Fixed an issue that caused the player to be unable to exit the Settings menu after making changes.
  • Claire’s truck is now properly placed in the garage in The Beast in Me.
  • Fixed the missing water surface shader on PlayStation 4.

The studio adds “and many more” to the patch notes list, though doesn’t specify exactly what this “more” includes. That said, this is a huge list of fixes that should be appreciated by gamers traversing Night City.

Report: Call of Duty 2021 to Run on Modern Warfare 2019 Engine

According to a new report, it seems that Call of Duty 2021, currently rumored to be called “Call of Duty: WWII Vanguard,” will be running on the same engine that powered 2019’s Modern Warfare.

The report comes from VideoGameChronicles, who have spoken to verified (allegedly) sources that collaborate with the previous rumors from ModernWarzone that the next Call of Duty is taking place in World Ward II. According to VGC, Call of Duty: WWII Vanguard will be using the same engine (presumably updated) as Modern Warfare 2019, rather than the one from Black Ops Cold War. 

Almost a year back, Activision stated that they planned on investing in the free-to-play title significantly, with future titles playing a part in that. This does seem very likely considering that using the same engine would help with integration, though VGC states that it’s unlikely we won’t see Warzone revamps for WWII Vanguard until 2022. This is mostly likely due to the release being near the end of the year like all past Call of Duty, but VGC isn’t entirely sure, and says it’s very possible that Warzone skips out on cross-game content with this year’s Call of Duty and will instead focus on Call of Duty 2022 integration. 

Of course, same with all rumors, we suggest you take it with a grain of salt. Once we know more, we’ll let our readers know.

Rocket League Season 3 Starts April 7, Here’s What to Expect

Psyonix is launching a new season of Rocket League very soon! The Rocket League Season 3 start date has been announced for April 7, and NASCAR and Formula 1 are entering the arena. Check out the trailer and details below.

There will be a Formula 1, and a NASCAR bundle available for Season 3 (sold separately). with the cars showcased in the trailer. There’s also a new car incoming called the “Tyranno” as well as a new Rocket Pass, which will be revealed next week.

There’s also an arena redesign incoming as well according to Psyonix:

Prepare to take in the sights and sounds of race day in the newly redesigned DFH Stadium (Circuit). The classic Arena has been outfitted with a track and all the pageantry found trackside during a championship Sunday. DFH Stadium (Circuit) will be added to the Casual and Competitive Playlists, and will be available for Private Matches and Freeplay at the start of Season 3.

The actual game update will roll out on April 6 at 4 p.m. PDT/7 p.m. EDT (11 a.m. UTC). Once Season 3 begins, new Competitive Tournament Rewards will be introduced, while Season 2 Rewards will be granted once Season 3 goes live.

Unlimited PS4 Game Share Exploit Out in the Wild, Here’s Why You Shouldn’t Do It

There’s a “new” PlayStation game sharing exploit that’s’ making the rounds across the internet, and while the thought of sharing your digital content may seem tempting, we explain why you really shouldn’t be doing this unlimited PS4/PS5 game share exploit.

A recent video and thread (which we won’t share) are making their way through the PlayStation hacking scene, which detail a method that causes a bug in the PSN activation/deactivation procedure, allowing for unlimited game sharing for offline consoles. This includes even bypassing the six-month remote deactivation limitation that’s there to limit this. The method isn’t exactly “new” per se as some console sellers have been using it for years for their own personal gains, but this would be the first time (as far as we know) that it has become publicly made. We won’t link the thread or detail how this method is done as there are a number of reasons why it’s not a good idea.

Why You Shouldn’t Game Share Exploit on PlayStation

For starters, this is blatantly stealing. While Sony allows you to share games across two consoles at a given moment, their terms of service (ToS) is pretty straight forward with that only being for consoles that exist within the same home. Considering that game sharing essentially gives you a second copy of a game, you can probably understand why this wouldn’t sit well with Sony if that can be exploited unlimitedly with no set time restriction. Again, it’s stealing and a more bigger crime if you are caught reselling consoles with pre-loaded games.

And then there’s the obvious chance of being banned. While Sony doesn’t ban too often (if they have at all) for game sharing, it can still happen. Is it really worth the ban, especially if you have a long history of purchases made? We certainly don’t think so.

So Why Was This PlayStation 4 and 5 Exploit Publicly Made?

According to the original poster, the reason why they published this to major scene outlets is because they wanted Sony to patch the method. Of course it seems a bit late considering how many years the exploit existed, but nonetheless it’s definitely something that should be fixed ASAP. Chances are we will see a new software or perhaps a network side update that will fix this exploit real soon.

  • Elite Villian Sectors – A loot fix is coming to Elite Villian Sectors, which were unintentionally changed in the last update.
  • Marvel’s Avengers PS5 Trophy Migration Fix  – An issue where not all the trophies would unlock during ps4 to ps5 save migration is being fixed. For players who have yet to transfer this should work correctly. However, for those who have been playing on the PS5 version after a save migration you can still transfer the save, but you will lose previous progress. The alternative is to re-earn specific trophy, though the team is looking into ways to resolve that. 
    • MP1st suggestion: We recommend you backup your PS5 save via cloud and then perform the save migration (PS4 to PS5) to earn the trophies you may have missed from the original migration. You can then download your previous PS5 cloud save to continue with your progress. 
  • Reassemble Campaign Replay – An issue that is happening during the Golden Acre campaign mission where a set of tables are stacked on each other, thus preventing campaign progress is being fixed.
  • Future Imperfect – a 30 second hang that took place after the Hawkeye mission will be fixed.
  • A few other various fixes are coming, though don’t expect any major things as this is a small patch. 

That’s it for what’s confirmed to be coming in the next update, and though the team said it’s this week for release, there’s still a possibility it may miss out.

Warframe Upcoming Update 30 Launch Window Set for April

The Warframe upcoming update 30 has been given a launch window of April along with some new pieces of information as to what you can expect to see from it next month. 

Warframe upcoming update 30 is currently targeting a release of April, which should coincide with the launch of the Xbox Series X|S versions (native port). Additionally, the team is also trying to release the update on all platforms (PC and consoles) simultaneously, something they have previously stated that they wanted to do with more updates. Further details as to what’s included in update 30 can be found below, though a full changelog will be available closer to release. 

Warframe Upcoming Update 30 Confirmed Changes

  • Console Players – Railjack Retrofit, the new Railjack Corpus Proxima will be coming to consoles (out on PC already) with this update. 

    New Corpus Proxima Regions

    Robots and Crewmen are taking to the skies and have greatly expanded the Proxima Star Chart – three new planets (Venus, Neptune and Pluto Proxima) will introduce new enemies, new Points of Interest and more. There will also be the most difficult missions for Corpus Railjack added to the Veil Proxima. 

    Full details on this can be found in the Update 29 patch notes that released for PC last week. 
  • Warframe Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S versions (native to those consoles) will be releasing with this update.
  • A new questline called “Call of the Tempestarii” will be released in this update. It will introduce a new character named “Vera”. A teaser trailer and short synopsis can be found below.

The Corpus have mobilized to the Proxima regions. A new character named ‘Vala’ and more awaits you in the ‘Call of the Tempestarii’ Quest, coming in Warframe’s 30th Update! Keep watch for its release in April on all platforms!

  • Will introduce the newest Warframe, Sevagoth (article screenshot above) who will have also have a unique questline tied their Prex Card collectible.
  • Mirage’s deluxe skin will be available in this update, though the animation set may skip out.
  • Additionally Warframe 8th Anniversary content will also be launching in April, although this isn’t part of Update 30

These Waterfall City and Simulation Videos Made on Dreams PS5 Need to Be Seen to Be Believed

By now, people really shouldn’t be surprised at the things gamers can do in Media Molecule’s Dreams. But there are times that some user-created stuff just makes our jaws drop — and this is one of those times.

YouTuber Bad Robo has uploaded two Dreams waterfall videos made on the PS5, and the results are, in one word: astounding!

Black Ops Cold War Update 1.14 March 27 Released for Season 2 Reloaded Pre-Load (Update)

With Treyarch confirming that the Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Season 2 refresh is hitting this coming week, it seems the studio has rolled out the data file early — at least for PlayStation gamers. Select Black Ops Cold War players should be prompted to download the Black Ops Cold War update 1.14 March 27 patch (for PS5 gamers it will show up as 01.014.000), which brings Season 2 Reloaded! This patch clocks in at 7.7GB, and you can read up on the details below.

Note that you won’t be able to access the contents yet though, as Treyarch usually rolls that out on a Tuesday or Thursday.

However, even if we can’t access the data, we have patch details on what’s new!

    • 10 squads of four fight for multiple Hardpoints at a time. Each set of Hardpoints lasts 120 seconds before rotating to the next locations.
    • Teams will earn 1 point every second for all teammates inside of a Hardpoint.
    • The first squad to reach 1,000 points wins the match.
  • Prop Hunt
    • Miami Strike and Satellite added to map rotation.
    • Refreshed prop rotation for several existing maps.
    • Addressed an issue where the Best Play prop camera could appear underground.
  • Control
    • New Custom Game Options added:
      • Time Per Segment: The amount of time added onto the current round time limit when a zone segment is captured.
      • Overtime Rules: Determines whether Overtime Defense is given to the team with the most kills or the most zone segments captured during the previous rounds.
  • Gunfight

Match Suspensions

  • Players who quit out of active matches or are kicked for friendly fire will now be issued a matchmaking suspension for a period of time.

Description: Sef in Hefe Mansion, this close-quarters map has an embarrasment of riches.
