Outriders Final PC Requirements Revealed, PC Pre-Load Now Live

After nearly a day of being available on consoles, the Outriders Steam preload has finally gone live along with the final Outriders PC requirements! Taking to Twitter, People Can Fly confirmed today that PC gamers who preordered Outriders on Steam (sorry GoG people, no preload at all) can now begin the preload process to prep for launch.

Additionally they have also confirmed the final system requirements for playing Outriders at either the minimum, recommended, and Ultra settings.

What are Outriders System Requirements?

Overall not a very demanding game if we say so ourselves. For those who were lucky enough to snag a NVIDIA RTX 3060 or a NVIDIA RTX 3060Ti, you’ll be glad to know that the graphic card does hit the recommended specs as they are the near modern-day equivalent to the old GTX 1070 card.

Outriders will be available Thursday, April 1 for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Google Stadia. In the coming weeks we should have plenty of guides to help you all through your journey, so stay tuned for those, oh and also be on the lookout for our final review sometimes after launch!

Ninja Gaiden: Master Collection Team Unable to Find Code for Ninja Gaiden 1 and 2

It looks like Ninja Gaiden fans who are looking forward to Team Ninja’s upcoming collection will have to contend with the fact that the versions they’ll be getting aren’t the original ones, as the Ninja Gaiden: Master Collection team has admitted that they were unable to find the original codes for Ninja Gaiden 1/ Ninja Gaiden Black and 2 — Which is why the Sigma editions of those games were chosen instead.

During an interview with IGN, Team Ninja head Fumihiko Yasuda explained why they had to choose the games that make up the upcoming Master Collection.

“The reason we chose these 3 titles for the collection is because they represent the latest installments of the numbered series and they are also the most polished versions featuring many additional modes and costumes. Furthermore, when we worked on Sigma and Sigma 2, we went and collected as much of that data as possible and organized it. And since we could fully utilize this data, Sigma and Sigma 2 became clear choices for this collection.

“However, we were unable to salvage the varying assortment of data we had left from Ninja Gaiden Black and Ninja Gaiden 2. And for that very reason, we currently don’t have any plans of remastering Ninja Gaiden Black and Ninja Gaiden 2 on non-Xbox platforms.”

That’s some pretty disappointing news for Ninja Gaiden players who played the original versions of the first two games for Xbox. Ninja Gaiden Sigma and Sigma 2 were released for the PS3, but are considered very different interpretations of Ryo Hayabusa’s adventures to hardcore fans. Don’t hold your breath for remasters of those any time soon.

As we previously reported, Ninja Gaiden: Master Collection will be coming to consoles and PC on June 10.

ITEMS

General Updates

  • Teleport – Adjusted Wizard’s Teleport animation speed.
  • Land of the Dead – Invigoration skill rune now removes all resource costs.
  • Rathma’s Shield passive skill now has a 60-second cooldown

Item Changes

  • Bones of Rathma 2-Piece Set: Your permanent minions reduce the cooldown of Army of the Dead by 0.25 0.50 second each time they deal damage. Your skeletal warriors spawn faster, and your revived minions no longer expire.
  • Bones of Rathma 4-Piece Set: Your minions no longer take damage. You gain 1% damage reduction for 15 seconds each time one of your minions deal damage. Maximum of 75 stacks.
  • Bones of Rathma 6-Piece Set: Each permanent active minion increases the damage of Army of the Dead and Bone Spirit by 500%, up to 8500% 9000%.
  • Defiler Cuisses: Bone Spirit’s damage is increased by 400% to 500% for every second it is active and will also freeze enemies on impact. Maximum of 5 seconds.
  • New item* Bonds of C’Lena: Bone Spirit deals 300% to 400% increased damage and deals an additional 2% increased damage for 10 seconds each time Army of the Dead hits an enemy. Maximum of 500 stacks. Army of the Dead deals 75% to 100% increased damage or double this bonus against an active target of Command Skeletons.
  • Firebird’s Finery 2-Piece Set: Disintegrate Ignites enemies, causing them to take 7500% 3000% weapon damage per second until they die. When you die, a meteor falls from the sky and revives you. This effect has a 60-second cooldown.
  • Firebird’s Finery 4-Piece Set: Casting Disintegrate adds Combustion stacks that reduce the cooldown of Teleport by 1% 2% per stack. Stacks up to 100 50 times. You gain 80% damage reduction while maintaining Combustion stacks.
  • Firebird’s Finery 6-Piece Set: You gain 4000% 2000% 5000% increased damage while Ignite is applied to a target. Hitting an Ignited enemy with a non-channeling fire spell deals Ignite damage multiplied by Combustion stacks.

Developer Note: With the bulk of patch 2.7.0’s focus being on the single-player experience, we recognize that the set reworks and balance changes are some of the most impactful and important to the group play experience. We’ve heard the outpouring of feedback from the community and have decided to increase the Firebird’s Finery 6-piece bonus.

We hope these changes will allow players to explore new strategies in high-end group play compositions for Season 23. We hope you enjoy Firebird’s this season, but we will keep an eye on its power and adjust balance in the future.

  • Gears of Dreadlands 6-Piece Set: Your primary skills deal 15,000% increased damage.
  • The Ninth Cirri Satchel: Hungering Arrow is guaranteed to pierce and also deals 450% to 600% increased damage. Hungering Arrow can only pierce up to 3 4 times.
  • Gazing Demise: The damage of Spirit Barrage is increased by 100% to 150%. Spirit Barrage gains the Phantasm rune that lasts twice as long, and the attack rate from Manitou spectres is increased.
  • Blackthorne’s Jousting Mail: Replaced one minor property with a random elemental damage affix.

Class Set Dungeon Update

  • To account for the Necromancer redesign of the Bones of Rathma set, we have updated the objective to “Revive 100 Corpses” from the current “Raise 100 Skeletal Mages”.

Developer Note: In addition to the recent changes, we’ll continue to analyze the performance of individual builds and rebalance them to allow for more variety in all categories of gameplay. We appreciate and value your feedback as we continue to analyze and fine-tune the performance of a variety of builds and address the high and low performers in this and future balance patches. Thank you all for your support and we look forward to seeing you this season!

BUG FIXES

Fixed an issue with the legacy version of Etched Sigil buffing unintended effects.
Fixed an issue with the Follower’s cheat death skills activating while the player had a Shield Pylon active.
Fixed an issue where the Templar would sometimes stop following the player.
Fixed Revive – Personal Army buff not persisting with Rathma’s 4 piece bonus

Now that’s one big of an update! For more Season 23 details, head on over here.

Ratchet & Clank Update 1.08 Released for 60fps Goodness on PS5

Here’s an unexpected treat, just yesterday, Insomniac Games announced that Ratchet & Clank, which was released back in 2016, would be getting a 60 frames-per-second (fps) support on the PS5 as part of the title’s enhancements. While originally mentioned as being pushed out in April, Insominac has released the Ratchet & Clank update 1.08 patch today!

Ratchet & Clank Update 1.08 Patch Notes:

Here’s the announcement the studio made today:

Ratchet & Clank (2016) will be playable in 60 FPS on PS5 after a new update in April! As part of the Play at Home campaign, download the game for free now through 3/31

Checking the PS4’s update history it lists the following:

  • Enhanced performance for PlayStation®5 Console.

As one might expect, that “enhanced performance” means 60fps is now in the game.

Don’t forget, Ratchet & Clank is now available for free for PlayStation gamers as part of the Play at Home initiative.

If there are other changes included in this patch that’s not mentioned above (which we doubt), we’ll be sure to let our readers know.

It Takes Two Review – If Not Love, Gameplay Will Bring Us Together

No one makes games like Josef Fares. He just sees games differently than most creative directors in games. In all three of his games, the stellar Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons (made with Starbreeze Studios), A Way Out, and his latest, It Takes Two (both made by his studio Hazelight), he constantly uses the gameplay that is informed by the narrative and vice versa. These ideas come to a near perfect culmination in It Takes Two. A game that is a blast to play, full of innovation every step of the way, and only comes up short in a few areas and one particularly grating aspect.

Co-Opernarrative

In every Fares game there is some form of cooperative gameplay at the heart of them. In Brothers, while it was a single-player game, the two brothers controlled with half of the controller, each. In his last two games two player co-op is the only way to play. Thankfully, as with A Way Out, It Takes Two has a friend pass so you can invite a friend to download and play the game with you online (or you can also play couch co-op). There’s no matchmaking so you will need to actually know someone who wants to play with you for the 10-12 hour experience.

The narrative of It Takes Two involves married couple May and Cody, and their daughter Rose. May and Cody’s marriage has reached the point where they want a divorce and finally break the news to Rose. Upset by this, Rose takes two dolls she’s made of her parents, May is made of wood, and Cody is made of clay, pleads for them to make up and cries tears that make her parents inexplicably inhabit the bodies of the dolls. In this form they’re goaded by Dr. Hakim, author of The Book of Love that Rose has, into re-connecting and saving their marriage.

In all honesty, the main story is far and away the weakest point of It Takes Two. It feels less earned and more contrived and has a wild omission from the arc as it leads to its inevitable ending. And while the theme of trying to get May and Cody to rekindle their relationship through cooperative gameplay is sound, it mostly feels like the gameplay is informing the story, rather than the story informing the gameplay.

Making matters so much worse is that Dr. Hakim is the most annoying, obnoxious, unfunny character I have ever had the displeasure of enduring in a video game. He speaks in this bad French/Spanish/European accent, gyrates and gesticulates in obnoxious, recoil-worthy fashion, and virtually sucked any joy from my body I was having prior to the moments he shows up. He’s so bad I can’t believe no one in playtesting brought him up as a problem. Both my playing partner (our very own James Lara) and I had the same problem with him so I can’t imagine we are the only ones.

As Good as It Gets

Thankfully the gameplay is so good and varied that Dr. Hakim’s overbearing, dead weight can’t sink the game. The game is so full of genius ideas for co-op gameplay that very few outstays their welcome. There is some standard platforming throughout the game, some less fun than others, but it’s all facilitated through the co-op gameplay. One level has May using a hammer head while Cody amasses a bandolier of nails. Playing as Cody I would throw the nails into yellow pieces of wood to either allow May (James) to swing to other platforms, of the nails would hold doors or platforms in place so May could get to an area to let me through to the next area.

Another area gives Cody a watch that allowed me to manipulate time while May had the ability to make a clone that she can warp to. In one instance there is an eagle statue that has broken apart and fallen through a platform below. By rewinding time, I was able to put the statue back in place, while James placed the clone of May on the floor below, by letting go the eagle statue broke and crashed through the platform and James warped to May’s clone on the fallen statue. I then reversed time which lifted May up to a height where she could reach another platform and open a door that would allow us to progress. The game is full of fun, creative cooperative puzzles like this.

The game also pays homage to other games by turning into a genres, like a fighting game, during an escape sequence. My personal favorite is one I won’t spoil, but I was genuinely elated when it all of a sudden happened, and was actually kind of bummed it didn’t last longer.

Nagging Issues

My only issues with the gameplay is that some of the platforming sections require a little too precise of jumping which is always a problem for me in 3D spaces. Others may not have a problem with this but for me it added a slight amount of frustration to a game that seemed hell-bent on putting a smile on my face. Thankfully if you fail a jump, the game has a pretty generous checkpointing system so you won’t ever be set back too far.

An issue that bothered James more than it did me, is that there are a lot of mini-games to be discovered and played throughout. They range from things like Whack-a-Mole, to a game of chess, to a stock car race track and an arcade machine. The fun does vary depending on your personal preferences but they do add a bit of competition into the game that focuses on the opposite through the vast majority of its levels.

Gorgeous Sights and Wonderful Sounds

It should be noted that in the visuals department, the game is gorgeous, well, in the actual gameplay bits. The humans don’t look very good at all, and actually kind of look like early PS3/360 era character models. And is it me or is Rose’s head really large for her body? Anyway, each new area offers plenty of visual splendor and are all tied to that specific level’s theme really well. A lot of it focuses on house interior areas but they open up as the story dictates to new and well realized thematic designs. Be it a tree in their yard, to Cody’s abandoned garden, to Rose’s pillow fort, there’s a lot of variety here.

The sound design is also excellent. While the voice acting isn’t my favorite, mostly do to the histrionics of the performances, the ambient sounds, score and event the sounds of specific items (such as the various snare tones in a section where you jump on and interact with musical instruments), it’s all impeccably rendered.

I should also note that the game is incredibly polished. We didn’t experience a single glitch or bug and the controls were smooth and simple to understand and use. It’s clear a lot of care went into making sure the experience was as fun as possible.

And at the end of the day, that is what stands out in It Takes Two. It’s fun. The game is effortlessly fun. While the marriage of gameplay and story wasn’t what I had hoped – I wasn’t ever really invested in May and Cody’s relationship – I was constantly having fun playing it. And for me, that is what matters most. Highly recommended.

Score: 8/10

Pros:

  • The co-op gameplay is fantastic and varied
  • The game is extremely polished
  • Great visual and audio design in each level

Cons:

  • Dr. Hakim is the literal worst
  • The story isn’t as good as I had hoped
  • Some of the platforming isn’t as tight as

It Takes Two review code provided by the publisher. Played on PS5. You can read SP1st and MP1st’s review and scoring policy right here.

Borderlands 3 Diamond Keys Intrdoduced as New In-Game Resource for Director’s Cut

Get ready to enter that Diamond Armory and mine some Vault Cards in the expanding world of Borderlands 3, as Gearbox and 2K have announced that Borderlands 3 is introducing Diamond Keys – the new in-game resource for the upcoming Director’s Cut add-on coming next month!

Here’s the overview of the new Diamond Keys resource via press release:

The Director’s Cut* add-on for Borderlands® 3 will bring all-new ways to play when it launches on April 8. In addition to a new raid boss, murder mystery story missions, and behind-the-scenes content, Director’s Cut includes three Vault Cards, which are your tickets to a new progression system featuring daily and weekly challenges. By completing challenges, you gain progress toward unlocking themed rewards, including unique Legendary gear, tons of new cosmetic items, and a brand new in-game resource: Diamond Keys.

You may already be familiar with Golden Keys, which you can score by keeping up with Borderlands on social media. Golden Keys unlock the Golden Chest near Marcus Munitions on Sanctuary III. When opened, the Golden Chest offers up a selection of high-end gear appropriate for your level. Diamond Keys take this idea even further by presenting you with not just a chest but an entire room full of tantalizing loot: the Diamond Armory, which is located beneath the Bridge on Sanctuary III’s upper deck.

To learn more about how Vault Cards work and what you can expect to find in the Diamond Armory, you can refer to this comprehensive guide on borderlands.com. Please note that, at this time, Vault Cards can only be accessed by players who own the Director’s Cut add-on and can’t be purchased individually or separately. Similarly, Diamond Keys must be earned through gameplay and cannot be purchased individually or separately. Director’s Cut, which launches April 8, will be available for individual purchase or as part of Borderlands 3 Ultimate Edition or Season Pass 2.*

In related Borderlands media news, Eli Roth’s upcoming movie adaptation recently cast Haley Bennett in a mysterious new role for the film.

The Director’s Cut add-on for Borderlands 3 launches on April 8.

Marvel’s Avengers Update 1.29 March 30 Flies Out (Update)

As expected given Crystal Dynamics’ announcement, a new Marvel’s Avengers patch is now live! The Marvel’s Avengers update 1.29 March 30 has been rolled out for fixes, which we’ve listed below in the patch notes. This clocks in at a whopping 17GB on Steam.

Marvel’s Avengers Update 1.29 March 30 Patch Notes:

Update: Crystal Dynamics has released the official patch notes!

Note these are the confirmed fixes and changes by Crystal Dynamics during the studio’s last devstream. Once the studio releases the official notes, we’ll update the post.

  • Elite Villian Sectors – A loot fix is coming to Elite Villian Sectors, which were unintentionally changed in the last update.
  • Marvel’s Avengers PS5 Trophy Migration Fix  – An issue where not all the trophies would unlock during ps4 to ps5 save migration is being fixed. For players who have yet to transfer this should work correctly. However, for those who have been playing on the PS5 version after a save migration you can still transfer the save, but you will lose previous progress. The alternative is to re-earn specific trophy, though the team is looking into ways to resolve that.
    • MP1st suggestion: We recommend you backup your PS5 save via cloud and then perform the save migration (PS4 to PS5) to earn the trophies you may have missed from the original migration. You can then download your previous PS5 cloud save to continue with your progress.
  • Reassemble Campaign Replay – An issue that is happening during the Golden Acre campaign mission where a set of tables are stacked on each other, thus preventing campaign progress is being fixed.
  • Future Imperfect – a 30 second hang that took place after the Hawkeye mission will be fixed.
  • A few other various fixes are coming, though don’t expect any major things as this is a small patch.

Once Crystal Dynamics releases the full patch notes, we’ll update the post.

Update: We’ve update the post with the official patch notes.

HITMAN 3 – March Patch Notes (Version 3.20)

New Content

Seven Deadly Sins Act 1: Greed

The Seven Deadly Sins are arriving in HITMAN 3 as a new 7-part premium expansion. Act 1: Greed will be available to purchase on March 30 and invites players to Dubai to indulge in a new 3-stage Escalation: The Greed Enumeration and unlock sin-themed rewards… How greedy are you feeling?

HITMAN 3 – March Patch Notes (Version 3.20)

New Content

Seven Deadly Sins Act 1: Greed

The Seven Deadly Sins are arriving in HITMAN 3 as a new 7-part premium expansion. Act 1: Greed will be available to purchase on March 30 and invites players to Dubai to indulge in a new 3-stage Escalation: The Greed Enumeration and unlock sin-themed rewards… How greedy are you feeling?

Complete an objective, collect the coins (that rightly belong to you) and feed the frog to reap your rewards. These rewards will help you to complete additional objectives that are only revealed once you have completed the previous ones; should you exit the level now, or get greedy and hunt for more coins?

All of the coins that you collect in a given stage will carry over to the next stage of the Escalation, giving you the opportunity to feed the frog and earn more useful rewards.

Indulging in The Greed Enumeration will reward players with three permanent unlocks; the Rapacious SuitGreedy Little Coin and The Devil’s Cane, which can all be used across the World of Assassination. Using The Devil’s Cane as a melee weapon in other contracts will cause it to generate a Greedy Little Coin, to remind you of your greed.

The Seven Deadly Sins Collection and Act 1: Greed will be available on digital stores at 1pm UTC. For more details, check out our Seven Deadly Sins announcement post.

Seasonal Event: Berlin Egg Hunt
Follow the white rabbit… The first seasonal event for all HITMAN 3 owners sees Agent 47 heading to Berlin, which has been transformed for the Berlin Egg Hunt. This exclusive Club Hölle event has a strict dress code and is at capacity when you arrive, so your knowledge of the club’s exterior will be crucial.

The Berlin Egg Hunt will be playable from March 30 – April 12 and brings a seasonal twist to the Berlin location with new decorations and graffiti and new gameplay items (eggs!) to collect and use. Each stage of this seasonal Escalation will introduce new complications and targets for you to hunt down. Participate in the event and you’ll unlock the Raver Outfit to show off your love for techno.

April Roadmap Season of Greed
The Seven Deadly Sins is our new focus for content releases, so we’re changing the naming of our roadmaps. It’s just the naming that’s changing roadmap-wise and HITMAN 3 owners can still look forward to content being added to the game at no additional cost. All of that means that instead of the April Roadmap, we’re kicking off the Season of Greed, which will run until May 10th when HITMAN 3’s next Season of Sin will start.

We’re planning to reveal the full content preview (including a trailer!) for our Season of Greed in the first full week of April. Lookout for that! Get more details about how we the Seasons of Sins work in our Seven Deadly Sins announcement post.

HITMAN 3 Elusive Target

The countdown for the first HITMAN 3 Elusive Target starts with the release of the March Patch. You’ll see a ticking clock in the menu counting down to April 9th, when The Collector will arrive in Dartmoor for 10 days.

HITMAN 3 Free Starter Pack

Download the HITMAN 3 Free Starter Pack now and play Dubai for FREE from March 30 – April 5!

Experience the start of the World of Assassination trilogy and begin your journey to become the world’s ultimate assassin. Read more on our Free Starter Pack Announcement Post.

General Updates

Stability Improvements
We’ve resolved several issues that could cause the game to crash or, in rare cases, cause endless loading.

Requiem
The Requiem Pack is back, and included in the H1 GOTY Access Pass. Any HITMAN 3 owners who have installed the H1 GOTY Access Pass will also have access to the three items included in the Requiem Pack.

Trophies/Achievements
We’ve resolved several issues that could prevent players from unlocking the following trophies; Shortcut Killer, Dune Rider (Dubai), Full House (Dartmoor), Rich Harvest (Mendoza), Future Shock (Chongqing), Pure Poetry (Hantu Port).

Additionally, fixes for the following challenges that are required to unlock some trophies/achievements have also been implemented: Discover Dubai, Discover Mendoza.

Players that have been affected should unlock the relevant trophies/achievements when they launch the game after installing the 3.20 patch. We know some players are also having ussues with other trophies/achievements. We’re tracking and working on updates for those.

Achievement Framerate Unlocked
Xbox One, Xbox One S and Xbox One X users can now toggle between a locked/ 30fps or unlocked framerate. Locked is the default option. In testing, we’ve hit a very consistent 60 fps on Xbox One X across all three games in the trilogy, with only occasional dips.

Trinity Guns
We’ve resolved an issue where a white, floating attachment could be seen on the weapons in the Trinity Pack (pre-order bonus)

Leaderboards
We’ve resolved an issue that could cause players to see erratic leaderboard positions after completing a mission. In some cases, this would show players that they performed worse than the entire leaderboard, i.e 501/500.

Default Disguise
We’ve resolved an issue that could cause 47 to start in a suit, even when a starting location with a forced disguise was selected. This could cause him to be immediately suspicious in some circumstances.

Silenced Guns
We’ve resolved an issue that could cause the sound effects of the Bartoli 12G and the Shashka A33 to not play when they are fired by NPC’s.

Wallpop
We’ve resolved an issue where the ‘Piercing’ perk was not properly displayed on the ICA Bartoli Woodsman Hunting Rifle Covert.

Interaction Font Size
We’ve added more options for the size of interaction prompts, allowing players to choose from font size 10, 15, 20, 25, 30 and 35. Choosing a larger font size may cause text to overlap in crowded instances, where multiple prompts are on the screen.

Visual Fidelity
We’ve resolved several issues across multiple locations that could cause textures to ‘disappear’ at certain angles, where items would appear to be ‘floating’ or where positioning the camera in a certain position could cause Agent 47 to disappear.

Silenced Weapons
We’ve ironed out a few inconsistencies with several silenced weapons. The HKW21 Pale Homemade Silencer, ICA DTI Stealth, ICA Tactical Shotgun Covert, DAK Gold Covert and DAK Black Covert were all missing the ‘suppressor’ tag in their inventory description. Also, the ICA Tactical Shotgun Covert was not being treated as a silenced weapon by NPCs. That’s changed as well now.

Holster Audio
We’ve resolved an issue that was preventing the ‘holster’ sound effect from triggering.

Normal vs Medium
We’ve adjusted the text on some of our ‘graphics settings’ descriptions so that they’re consistent between the game and the launcher. Medium is the new normal.

Version ID
We’ve added an extra line to the settings menu to also display the current version ID of the game. This will help us when troubleshooting issues in development and with players.

Where It’s Due, 3.20
We have updated the HITMAN 3 credits to reflect the work that has been done since we submitted the game for release. We also correct a few errors and included new members of the team.

Location Changes: Dubai, UAE

Drop The Body
We’ve resolved an issue where it was not possible to dump bodies off some ledges of the building in Dubai.

Wait, what water?
We’ve resolved an issue where overflowing the sink in one of the bathrooms in Dubai wouldn’t attract anyone.

Hold Up
We’ve tweaked the setup of the guard at the VIP balcony in Dubai so that he will enforce trespassing rules. Previously, he would allow 47 to trespass all too easily without consequence.

Repetitive Repetition
We identified an issue where Carl Ingram would often repeat a line of dialogue when using the dictaphone, so we’ve resolved the issue where Carl Ingram would often repeat a line of dialogue when using the dictaphone.

Location Changes: Dartmoor, England

Safe Space
We’ve resolved an issue where 47 could be spotted by guards that were outside, when he was inside the greenhouse in Dartmoor.

Body Container
We’ve resolved an issue with some containers in Dartmoor where a prompt on the side of the container would allow 47 to ‘dump’ the body. He wasn’t supposed to be allowed to do it though, so the body would be launched into the air. We’ve removed the prompt.

Location Changes: Berlin, Germany

Inaccurate Weaponry
We’ve resolved an issue where the description of the weapons carried by targets in Berlin was not accurate.

UI_CONTRACT_FOX
We’ve resolved an issue where debug text would appear as an objective after performing specific actions in Berlin.

Unidenitfied Target
We’ve resolved an issue that could prevent a target from being displayed in Instinct and their details being added to the Intel menu.

Location Changes: Chongqing, China

This was the Silenced Version
We’d like to award Reddit user u/StealthyBastard94 the prize for ‘Most Entertaining HITMAN 3 Bug Report’ for March. Here’s how they won this presigious and unique award. We’ve now changed the description so that it no longer says that the gun is silenced.

Chongqing Shortcuts
We’ve resolved an issue where unlocking a shortcut in Chongqing could prevent players from unlocking the associated challenges with all shortcuts.

Chongqing Controller
We’ve resolved an issue that could cause inconsistencies in the ‘Controller’ Mission Story.

Cover Up
We’ve removed a piece of cover in Chongqing that was floating.

The Phoenix Discourse
We’ve resolved an issue where 47 could ‘hack’ a laptop in Chongqing despite not having the proper clearance. We know that’s the whole point of hacking, but it makes sense if you play the game.

Location Changes: Mendoza, Argentina

Security Door
We’ve resolved an issue in Mendoza where an erroneous objective would appear in the menu after interacting with the security door terminal.

Mendoza Contracts
We’ve fixed an issue where Contracts created on Mendoza would sometimes fail to load, depending on when they were created.

Grape Box
We’ve (apparently) resolved an issue that could cause 47 to get stuck inside a grape box in Mendoza.
(Editor’s Note: Sometimes I wonder if our developers just make up some of these ‘fixes’ to see if they can get them in the patch notes…)

Security Consistency
We’ve resolved an issue that could cause some inconsistencies with the locations of the Head of Security and the Sommelier in Mendoza.

Grape Pressure
We’ve resolved an issue where some bodies could not be contained within the grape presser.

Location Changes: Carpathian Mountains, Romania

Mountain Range
We’ve resolved an issue that could cause lighting issues in the environment, including the water.

Legacy Location Changes: HITMAN 1 and HITMAN 2

Patient Zero
We’ve resolved an issue that was preventing the ‘Play Next’ option from displaying after completing one of the first three missions in the Patient Zero campaign.

Hidden Pigeon
We’ve resolved an issue that made it very difficult to locate a specific pigeon in the Himmelstein Sniper Assassin map. We’ll quote the internal bug report resolution: “tweaked tree to unhide pigeon.”

Beach Rest
We’ve resolved an issue where one particular guard on the beach wouldn’t react to an exploding truck. Lazy.

Miami Zoom
We’ve resolved an issue that could cause visual issues when zooming with a sniper rifle in Miami.

Stick Man
We’ve resolved an issue in Santa Fortuna where some trees were lacking collision properties and 47 could walk (or jog) right through them.

Yoga Guard
We’ve resolved an issue where one specific guard in Mumbai would hold his weapon above his head, with twisted arms.

Elite Guard
We’ve resolved an issue that was causing clipping on the hood of the Elite Guard outfit in Isle of Sgail

Bank Mirrors
We’ve resolved an issue that made it impossible to shoot through the mirror between the conference room and the CEO’s Private Room in New York (The Bank)

Virtual Reality (PS VR)

VR Crash Fixes
We’ve improved stability to resolving several issues that could cause the game to crash when playing in VR.

Hokkaido OOW

Epic Games has not updated the official Fortnite Trello board for now, but here are some of the known changes incoming:

Here are the known fixes via Epic Games:

Split Screen “Ready Up!” issue.

Update 2
With the release of v16.10, players in Split Screen can again play another match via the “Ready Up!” button. Players no longer need to return to the Lobby.

PlayStation Officially Confirms PS3, PSP, and PS Vita PS Store Will Close Starting This July

It’s the end of an era for some Sony legacy consoles, as PlayStation officially confirms that the PS3, PSP, and PS Vita version of the PS Store will close starting this July — ending nearly 15 years of support for those past generation systems.

Here’s the announcement from the official PlayStation site, as well as answering questions for players wondering what will happen to the games and digital items they purchased in the past.

We are closing PlayStation™Store on PlayStation®3 consoles on 2nd July 2021 and on PlayStation®Vita devices on 27th August 2021. Additionally, the remaining purchase functionality for PSP™ (PlayStation®Portable) will also retire on 2nd July 2021.

What features can I use after the closure of PlayStation™Store and purchase functionality on PS3, PS Vita and PSP devices?

Features you will still be able to access:

  • You will still be able to re-download and play previously purchased game titles.
  • You will still be able to access previously purchased video/media content.
  • You will still be able to redeem game and PlayStation®Plus vouchers.
  • You will still be able to re-download and play claimed game titles through PlayStation®Plus as long as you remain a member of the service.

Features you will lose access to:

  • You will no longer be able to purchase PS3, PS Vita and PSP digital content, including games and video content.

  • You will no longer be able to make in-game purchases through games on PS3, PS Vita and PSP.

  • You will no longer be able to redeem PSN wallet fund vouchers (e.g. gift cards) on PS3, PS Vita or PSP devices once PlayStation™Store and purchase functionality for these devices close. Your PSN wallet funds will remain in your PSN account, but you will only be able to use your wallet funds to purchase PS4 and PS5 products on PlayStation™Store on the web, PlayStation®App or on PS4 and PS5 consoles.

Earlier, Sony shut down a browser version of the PS Store still selling PS3, PSP, and PS Vita games — which was probably paving the way for this announcement.
