Modern Warfare and Warzone Login Errors and Code 8192 Plaguing Players (Update)

Update: Activision has announced that the issue has been resolved!

Original Story:

Those playing Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone, you might be experiencing Modern Warfare and Warzone login errors! Some people are experiencing Modern Warfare error code 8192, as well.

For those unaware, Modern Warfare error 8192 states, “You have been disconnected from the Call f Duty Modern Warfare servers. Please try again or visit https://support.activision.com/mwstatus for updates.” Thankfully, Activision is aware, as the official Activision Support Twitter announced the folllowing just now:

We’re actively investigating an issue where some players are unable to login to #ModernWarfare and #Warzone. Stay tuned for updates.

On the offiical Activision server status page, it states that all platforms are having issues!

Note that this outage is particularly note-worthy now given the big Call of Duty 2020 ARG/puzzle is about to commence within the hour. Given how that’s happening wuthin Warzone, that’d be hard to do if the game’s servers are, y’know, down.

Once we get an update on this, we’ll update the post. It should be sorted out soon or within the day, as Activision are usually on top of these things.

In other Modern Warfare/Warzone news, Infinity Ward has touched upon the FR 5.56 issue the game has been suffering through after the latest patch! Expect a new update to fix this soon.

Deathloop Delayed to Q2 2021

During the PS5’s game showcase, one of the surprise announcements was Arkan Studios’ Deathloop, and what’s even more surprising was, it was targeted to be released in holiday 2020 as a timed PS5 exclusive. Today, Arkane Lyon announced the Deathloop delayed news, and it’s a pretty understandable one.

Over on the game’s official Twitter, the studio touched on how the current global COVID-19 pandemic has affected development, and contributed to the game’s delay to sometime in Q2 2021.

We’ve made the decision to move thelaunch date of Deathloop to Q2 2021/

Our ambition for Deathloop is to deliver a signature Arkane game that takes you to never-before-seen places in a stylish new world.

At the same time, the health and safety of everyone at Arkane Lyon remains our top priority. As we’ve adjusted to work-from-home, we found that delivering this new and exciting experience, at the polish and quality level that defines both an Arkane game and a true next-gen experience, is taking longer than normal.

This extra time will allow our team to bring Deathloop’s world to life with as much character and fun as you’ve come to expect from our team.

While we know this is the right decision for Deathloop, we share your disappointment, and apologize for making you wait even longer.

Thank you for your support and excitement. Your positive feedback has helped fuel us as we continue to work from the confines of our homes. We can’t wait to share more details about Deathloop with you, so keep your eyes open for our next update, coming soon.

Arkane Lyon

This is a bummer for sure, but that said, it’s better to wait than to have a bad game, right? You can check out gameplay footage of Deathloop to see how what kind of game it is.

Capcom’s Canceled Games “Timeless” and “Ghouls n’ Ghost” Surface

Capcom was apparently working on two new titles a few years ago, once being a new iteration in the Ghost n’ Goblin series and the other a fresh new IP called Timeless. Here’s our first look at Capcom’s canceled games.

Senior character artist, John Miller, who previously worked at Capcom between 2017 to 2018 (now at Offworld Industries) recently took to his ArtStation account to upload a series of concept character for his work at Capcom. This included work on a new Ghouls N’ Ghost title, along with a new IP known as Timeless. Both never were officially announced as they have since then been canceled, but with the new concept images we finally have small glimpse of the titles.

Ghouls n’ Ghost was being published by Capcom as pointed out by Miller’s LinkedIn account. It was part of the long running Ghost n’ Goblin series, which received an ultimate edition back in 2006 for the PSP. The last Ghouls n’ Ghost title to release was back in 1991 though has gotten re-released a number of times throughout the decades. Seems that Capcom was gearing up to renew the title with some upgraded visuals, potentially being a 3D remake or reboot, though that hasn’t been made clear. While Miller does state that the game was titled “Ghouls n’ Ghosts,” some of the watermarking lists it as “Ultimate Ghosts n’ Goblin, so perhaps they were still deciding on the game’s name during development. It also appears that the title was being developed in Unreal Engine, although that could have simply  been what Miller was using to draw up these concept designs. Down below you’ll find some concept art of some of the characters that may have appeared in the final game if development were to continue.

Capcom Canceled Games Concept Art

These two screens are for a character simply known as the gang leader demon.

The next one is called a Demon Scavenger

A look at some of the hair work.

The next set of photos we aren’t 100% sure if they are from Ghouls n’ Ghost, though their cover image did share the same font format as the previous ones. These are of two types of enemies, red being the Lava spider and the grey one being of the cave spider.

These  ones are actually pretty old, dating back 10 months although no details were shared whether or not the project had been canceled. We decided to include them in the post seeing that we haven’t seen them anywhere else.

As for Timeless there really isn’t much details around this one, so chances are it was a brand-new IP by the publisher. The concept art features realistic human characters.

Sadly, as mentioned both projects are now cancelled according to Miller. No reason was supplied as to why Capcom didn’t move forward with either of them, though they were clearly in very early stages of development so that may have played a role in their cancellation.

Today’s Apex Legends Update 1.43 August 18 Brings Season 6

It’s finally here, legends! Respawn Entertainment has rolled out today’s Apex Legends update 1.43 August 18 update that brings Season 6! There’s a new hero in Rampart, changes in the World’s Edge map, a new Battle Pass, crafting system is added and tons more!

Today’s Apex Legends Update 1.43 August 18 patch notes:

MAP UPDATE: WORLD’S EDGE UPDATE

Hammond Robotics continues to take over World’s Edge. They’re up to… something… nefarious. They have taken steps to “upgrade” World’s Edge with changes to The Dome, Drill site, and other Points of Interests.

Read up on all the map changes from Jason McCord, our Design Director, on the previously released blog here.

NEW LEGEND: RAMPART

Ramya Parekh is a 21-year-old British Indian, blue collar, private business owner who just needs a big gun and a backpack full of scrap metal to get by in the dangerous, wild west world of the Outlands.

Parekh brings her modded shields, and knowledge of heavy weapons, such as Sheila (well, that’s what she calls her minigun).

Passive: Modded Loader

Rampart has increased magazine capacity and faster reloads when using LMGs and the Minigun. Modded Loader also increases the amount of shots before overheating occurs and improves cooling when using the L-STAR.

Tactical: Amped Cover

Rampart builds a crouch-cover wall, which deploys a full-cover amped wall that blocks incoming shots and amps outgoing shots. A max of 5 amped walls can be deployed at a time.

Ultimate: Emplaced Minigun “Sheila”

Rampart places a mounted machine gun that anyone can use, with high ammo capacity and a long reload time. A max of 3 miniguns can be deployed at a time.

For Parekh, the Apex card means more than just an invitation to compete.

NEW WEAPON – VOLT SMG

The first energy-based SMG to see regular use in the Frontier, the Volt allows its operator to fire a salvo of energy-based ammunition, decreasing drag and making it possible to hit multiple targets within a short window.

CRAFTING SYSTEM

We all know the RnG gods are not always in your favor. With Season 6 we are introducing a crafting system. Find materials throughout the map via loot bins or material stations, then take these to a Replicator.

In the Replicator, you’ll find eight different pieces of loot that you can craft, if you have enough materials. Some of this loot rotates on a weekly or daily basis, but you’ll always be able to see what’s currently craftable in the game mode selector or the map screen.

Read more on the Crafting system from Systems Designer, Mark Yampolsky here.

ARMOR META

With Season 6, we’re introducing some big changes to the way armor works in the game.

First off, all armor in the game is Evo Armor (except the Gold Armor).

When you find a white, blue or purple armor on the ground, it’s a pre-leveled Evo Armor. It can be picked up like normal, and continue to be evolved. Red Armor is not in the ground loot and can only be achieved through evolving.

Gold Armor is not part of the Evo Armor track, and is only found in rare locations as usual.

Another interesting change is that players spawn with level 0 Evo Armor. If you get in gun fights right away, and do enough damage, you will automatically level up into a White Armor. And you can continue to take that all the way to Red.

We think this will really help with loot availability in the early game, without requiring players to drop hot when they don’t want to.

With all the changes in Season 6, players now have the opportunity to level up their shields through damage, luck in ground loot, or through crafting!

The last big differences is that all Armor is coming down by 25 health. This means, players with Purple and Gold Armor have 175 health, not 200. Red Armor gets you to 200 health, and you can no longer get to 225.

Our goal for this is to bring down the TTK (time to kill) a bit in order to better reward strategic positioning.

New Damage Requirements:
Damage to white: 50
Damage to blue: 125
Damage to purple: 250
Damage to red: 500

HOLO SPRAYS

https://preview.redd.it/i346ofeddmh51.jpg?width=1280&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=38ebfb3da5f9c5b651d923ad3c93073bb7181a50

Holo sprays are a new way to emote in the arena. By using the Emote wheel, you can throw down these legend specific calling cards to taunt bested enemies, or warn future challengers that you’re not to be messed with.

BATTLE PASS

This season’s battle pass includes the reactive Supersonic G7, Bloodhound Road Warrior, 5 new holo sprays, new skydive emotes, weapon charms and more!

QUEST

Follow the story from the Season 5 Quest, now in full color, illustrated comics!

Collect Treasure Packs daily to earn your rewards including Crafting Metals, Challenge Points, Apex Packs, and a whole new suite of Gun Charms.

LEGENDS:

This patch, we’re taking a look at the recon class. A class built around information gathering should be powerful in a BR where knowing where the enemy is is often the difference between life and death, but out of the three Legends in the recon class (Pathfinder, Crypto, and Bloodhound), one dominates in terms of in-game performance. (It’s the robot. The robot dominates.)

In this patch, we’re mostly buffing Bloodhound as they needed the help the most. Crypto’s changes are a mixed bag as we also found one bug we had to fix that was giving Crypto a hidden advantage (TLDR: sometimes when you thought you were hitting the drone, you weren’t really hitting the drone). Between the buffs to Bloodhound’s ult and the new utility Crypto gains on his drone, we hope to see a more diverse field of recon legends in game.

RECON CLASS:

  • All Recon legends (Bloodhound, Crypto, and Pathfinder) can now use Survey Beacons to get the next ring location. Crypto can use his drone to instantly get this information.

Pathfinder:

  • Context: Giving all Recon legends access to survey beacons makes Pathfinder less unique, and obviously we don’t love that. For now, we’re giving our friendly robot a small buff to his ultimate cooldown when he uses a survey beacon, but in the future we will take another look at Pathfinder to see what else we could do to make him feel more unique.
  • Passive: Each time Pathfinder scans a survey beacon, the total cooldown of Zipline Gun is reduced.
  • Numbers: Zipline Gun cooldown reduced by 10s each time Pathfinder scans a beacon. Up to 6 rings per game means the total cooldown of Zipline Gun can go from 120s to 60s.

Bloodhound:

  • Context: Bloodhound fulfills a very clear role in Apex Legends: they’re the information gatherer and tracker, but currently their performance leaves a lot to be desired. In this patch, we wanted to double down on their ultimate being their big moment of becoming a god-like tracker. Bloodhound already gives up some information to the enemy when they scan or use the ultimate (it makes a noticeable sound), so we think there is room for a lot more power during the ultimate.
  • Beast of the Hunt: Now gains even more duration when Bloodhound scores a knockdown or kill with the ultimate about to run out.
  • Eye of the Allfather: During Beast of the Hunt, Eye of the Allfather now comes out twice as fast and has a much shorter cooldown.
  • Numbers:
    • Beast of the Hunt duration extension 5s → [5s – 15s] based on remaining duration
    • Eye of the Allfather CD during Beast of the Hunt: 25s → 6s
    • Eye of the Allfather total use time during Beast of the Hunt: 1.8s → 0.9s

Crypto:

  • Context: Crypto is a particularly interesting recon character: the amount of information he can gather for his team with the drone is very high, but the fact that he has to switch over to his drone leaves him vulnerable and often at a great distance from his team. Because he has no abilities without his drone, we figure there’s room for even more power when he’s in his drone.
  • Surveillance drone:
    • Crypto can now activate respawn and survey beacons from his drone. Doing so is instant instead of requiring a prolonged use.
    • Made the surveillance drone slightly more consistent to hit but also doubled its hitpoints.
  • Drone EMP:
    • EMP will now slow teammates caught in the blast, even if they had no shields. This means that players who have used Revenant’s Death Totem will also be slowed.
  • Numbers:
    • Surveillance Drone 30HP → 60HP
    • Surveillance Drone hitbox size: cube of edge length 16 → cube of edge length 24

OTHER LEGENDS:

Revenant:

  • Context: We’re happy to see that dropping the range restriction on Death Totem brought a lot more Revenants into play, but we’ve been watching a particularly frustrating combo play out in professional level play involving a squad of Revenant, Wraith, and Crypto, where using the three ultimates together resulted in two back to back runs at the enemy team that they could do very little about. We’ve attacked part of that in the Crypto EMP change, but here’s the other part aimed at making this play less overwhelming.
  • Death Totem:
    • For 2s after being recalled by the Death Totem, players cannot use Wraith’s Dimensional Rift.

Octane:

  • Stim: Can now use Stim while healing, but stim will not remove the slow you incur from healing.

Loba:

  • Context: While Loba was initially very popular, she’s been struggling to keep up more recently, so we’re tossing her a little buff. If you’re curious why we’ve chosen to buff her ultimate rather than her tactical: we’re seeing that she has decent combat success but that teams with her on them don’t win as much as, say, teams with Lifeline or Wattson. This suggests to us that her out of combat utility (that is to say, how she funnels loot to her team) isn’t doing enough.
  • Black Market:
    • Lowered cooldown from 3min to 90s

Gibraltar:

  • Defensive Bombardment:
    • Increased cooldown from 3 minutes to 4.5 minutes

Bangalore:

  • Rolling Thunder:
    • Decreased cooldown from 4.5 minutes to 3 minutes

Wattson:

  • Interception Pylon
    • Trophy system will now shoot down Caustic barrels in flight if they would have landed inside the range of the trophy.

LOOT

Added:

  • Extended Energy Mags.
  • Turbocharger Hop-up

Updated:

  • Precision Choke – Removed Precision Choke from loot pool, but it will now be integrated into the Triple Take and Peacekeeper by default. Fire select toggles on/off the choke

In Supply Drop:

  • R99
    • Damage increased from 11 to 12
    • Increased magazine size to 32
    • Ammo Reserve: 160

Out of Supply Drop- Into Ground Loot:

  • Devotion
    • Clip size reduced back to original values (36/40/44/48).

FULLY KITTED WEAPON SWAPS:

Removed:

  • DMR
  • Hemlok
  • Spitfire
  • EVA-8

Added:

  • Devotion
  • Mastiff
  • Triple Take
  • Flatline
  • Volt

Sniper ammo

  • Increased pick up from 8 to 12
  • Increased Stack Size from 16 to 24

Energy Ammo

  • Reduce amount picked up from 30 to 20.

WEAPON UPDATES

Hemlok:

  • Reduced vertical recoil in burst mod
  • Slightly reducing recoil in pattern on 2nd and 3rd shot so first burst kicks less
  • Burst mode time between bursts .32 -> .28

Charge Rifle

  • Will now use 2 ammo per shot.
  • Increased mag size from 4 to 8

Triple Take Buff:

  • Increase fire rate 1.25 -> 1.4
  • Increased Mag size from (5/6/7/8) to (6/7/8/9)

PK

  • Built the Choke hop up into the weapon by default. Toggle select-fire to enable/disable the Choke

Spitfire

  • Improve recoil controllability

Havoc

  • Updated Havoc with a new recoil pattern
Designer Note: The Havoc’s existing recoil pattern had constant horizontal movement. This means it would either be too difficult to control if there was too much recoil, or far too easy to control if there was too little recoil. Updating to a new pattern which is more consistent in style with existing recoil patterns.

Mozambique

  • Increased clip size from 3 to 4.

P2020

  • Increased Damage from 13 to 15
  • Decreased Hammerpoint damage multiplier from 2.7 to 2.35. This will leave Hammerpoint P2020 damage unchanged in most scenarios..
  • Increased mag size from (10/13/15/18) to (12/14/16/18)

Sentinel

  • Only requires one shield cell to charge if the player has the gold armor.

Prowler

  • Slightly Reduce vertical recoil in burst mode
  • Increase horizontal recoil in Auto Mode

QUALITY OF LIFE

  • Supply Drop Weapons are now Heirloom Tier (red) to avoid confusion with fully kitted guns which will remain gold.
  • World’s Edge received performance improvements, especially around The Tree, The Dome and Skyhook, looking towards the center of the map.
  • Alterations were made to The Ring to prevent late zones from centering on unplayable terrain and reduce the predictability of the zone’s “pull.”

Apex Legends Season 6 Patch Notes Listed

In case you didn’t know, Season 6 of Apex Legends is about to be unleashed later tonight/tomorrow (depending on which timezone you’re in)! While we’re waiting for the actual update to arrive, Respawn has released the Apex Legends Season 6 patch notes!

Apex Legends Season 6 patch notes:

Removed:

  • DMR
  • Hemlok
  • Spitfire
  • EVA-8
  • RE-45

Added:

  • Devotion
  • Mastiff
  • Triple Take
  • Flatline
  • Volt

UPDATED LOOT

  • Burst mode time between bursts .32 -> .28

Charge Rifle

  • Will now use 2 ammo per shot.
  • Increased mag size from 4 to 8

Triple Take Buff:

  • Increase fire rate 1.25 -> 1.4
  • Increased Mag size from (5/6/7/8) to (6/7/8/9)
  • Built the Choke hop up into the weapon by default. Toggle select-fire to enable/disable the Choke

Modern Warfare and Warzone FR 5.56 Exploit Fix Being Worked on by Infinity Ward

While we just got a patch for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone a few days ago to fix the graphical issue for weapons, it seems we’ll be getting another patch soon, or at the very least, a server-side playlist update. This is to address the Modern Warfare and Warzone FR.5.56 exploit that’s currently circulating online.

This patch turns the FR 5.56 into a long-range shotgun unlike anything you’ve ever seen! The 725 doesn’t hold a candle to it. You’ll be able to one-shot enemies from assault rifle distance!

Here’s a clip of it in action:

Fortunately, Infinity Ward is aware of it and is developing a fix that should be released soon-ish!

We’ve identified the issue with the FR 5.56 and are currently working on a fix. We’ll share more details as they become available. Thank you all for your patience.

No word on when we’ll actually get this or if it’ll be an actual downloadable patch, but once we know more, we’ll let our readers know.

In other Call of Duty news, the on-going Easter egg hunt/ARG unveiling for Call of Duty 2020 is still on-going! We’re keeping our eyes peeled and will report on any major news that comes from it.

List of 15 Unannounced Marvel’s Avengers Heroes Datamined

While we already know that Spider-Man and Hawkeye will be joining the Marvel’s Avengers roster post-launch, it seems developer Crystal Dynamics has quite a number of unannounced Marvel’s Avengers heroes planned outside of the two.

Over on the Marvel’s Avengers subreddit, user 6plus4equals52 datamined the on-going beta file, and found 15 heroes mentioned in the game files! You can check out the game code via the Pastebin to scour it yourself, but for those who don’t want to, read on for the list below.

  • Ant Man
  • Wasp
  • Vision
  • Black Panther
  • Dr Strange
  • Falcon
  • Mar-Vell
  • Mockingbird
  • Quake
  • Winter Soldier
  • Scarlet Witch
  • Captain Marvel
  • Kate Bishop
  • She Hulk
  • War Machine

Note that according to the dataminer, these are playable heroes and as such, have their own Challenge Cards, which are only available for heroes that can be played, and whose challenge can be completed. The redditor hacked the beta file to complete Iron Man’s Challenge Card to test his theory out.

When you see AV1_Currency_AvengerCoins_To_AV1_HeroToken_<HeroName>

It means use your main currency AvengerCoins (Credits) to buy HeroToken’s (Challenge Points) in the heroes Challenge Card

Each Hero has a Challenge Card, which means that character is Playable…

I hacked the game to give me more AvengerCoins which happened to show up as Credits in the game, and set HeroToken’s to 200 on Iron Man which completed his Challenge Card. So I can be sure of what AvengerCoins & HeroToken’s are.

There’s also HeroCardPurchase_<HeroName> which means once you unlock a character you may have to buy them too.

Obviously, players should treat this with a big bag of salt. While the character names might be in the game files, there’s no guarantee that they’ll be available post-launch. That said, if these turn out to be legit, that’s quite a handful of heroes to play as. And remember: Crystal Dynamics has already confirmed that all future heroes and levels will be free post-launch.

For  more on Marvel’s Avengers, head on over here to read our beta impressions.

Marvel’s Avengers is due for release this September 4 on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC.

WB Games Montreal New Game Teased, Something Teased for Tomorrow

Early this year, WB Games Montreal started teasing gamers on social media. While nothing came out of just yet. it seems that’s about to change soon, as the WB Games Montreal new game is about to be revealed soon via the DC Fandome event!

The studio is confirmed to be revealing their next project at the all-digital presentation, and will be one of many game companies owned by Warner Bros. that has something to announce at the show. Rocksteady Studios, creator of the Batman Arkahm franchise, have confirmed that they’ll be attending, and we’ll be hearing the first details of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League.

Over on Twitter, WB Games Montreal tweeted the following message:

Checking the “r3dakt3d” website, it has a message front and center stating “We have been expecting you 8/18,” which implies that we’ll see something tomorrow on August 18.

Additionally, the tweet includes a quick Court of Owls logo flash. Not familiar? The Court of Owls is a crim group in the Batverse, which means this will be based on Batman — or at least the universe he’s in. Mind, this isn’t new, as it’s been rumored before that WB Games Montreal’s new game is connected to Batman, and features the Court of Owls.

Per Wikipedia:

The Court of Owls is an organized crime group and secret society appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics, commonly in association with the superheroBatman. They have secretly existed since colonial times in Gotham City. The Court kidnaps child performers from the circus to train and transform them into their assassins, known as Talons, which first appeared in Batman #2 (2011). As part of the 2015–2016 “Robin War” storyline, the Court of Owls had expanded internationally and is referred to as the Parliament of Owls.

Will this new game by WB Games Montreal feature multiplayer? Given Batman Arkham Origins did, we’re assuming this will feature some sort of it, too.

Once we know more details tomorrow, we’ll let our readers know.

Ghost of Tsushima Multiplayer Announced, Free For Existing Owners

Ghost of Tsushima Legends, a free Ghost of Tsushima multiplayer add-on has been announced today by Sucker Punch. Here are the first details and trailer.

What seems to be an announcement out of nowhere, Ghost of Tsushima will be getting a free multiplayer update later this year. It will add a new 2 player co-op mode along with a 3 to 4 person survival missions.

Ghost of Tsushima Multiplayer Trailer

Darren Bridges, Senior Game Designer at Sucker Punch had to say on the PS Blog.

Legends is an entirely new experience — it’s a separate mode that doesn’t follow Jin or the companions from his journey, but instead focuses on four warriors who have been built up as legends in stories told by the people of Tsushima. Ghost of Tsushima’s single-player campaign focuses on an open world and exploring the natural beauty of the island, but Legends is haunting and fantastical, with locations and enemies inspired by Japanese folk tales and mythology and an emphasis on cooperative combat and action.

The expansion will be classes space, which you can find a list below. They will all have unique advatages and abilities that the team will discuss at a later date..

Ghost of Tsushima Legends Classes

  • Samurai
  • Hunter
  • Ronin
  • Assassin

Ghost of Tsushima Legends will be free for all existing Ghost of Tsushima owners, no exact release date has been announced other than its releasing this year.

Talk about a surprise announcement! This is certainly going to be a project we keep an eye on, especially since we absolutely loved Ghost of Tsushima in our review.

Deserter/AFK Penalty System

In order to provide a more fair experience for players, Vice Update will implement a new system to discourage leaving matches early and going AFK. Please note specific penalties could change based on data and feedback.

To be eligible for a deserter penalty a player must fall within one of the following categories:

  • Left Match Early – A player who leaves a full party (not through disconnection)
  • AFK – A player who has met our inactivity criteria (hasn’t taken a valid action) for approximately 2 minutes.
  • Disconnected – A player who has disconnected for at least 5 minutes before the match ends.

Rainbow Six Siege Sam Fisher Ability and Gameplay Revealed, Watch the Operation Shadow Legacy Video Overview Now

Earlier this past week, Ubisoft surprised Rainbow Six Siege players with the announcement that veteran spy Sam Fisher is joining the roster in Operation Shadow Legacy. Those interested to see what Sam can do, a new eight-minute look at the Rainbow Six Siege Sam Fisher ability and gameplay video is here!

Sam Fisher comes to Rainbow Six Siege in Operation Shadow Legacy. Armed with a powerful new intel-gathering gadget, a deadly new assault rifle, Fisher steps into his new callsign – Zero – with all the swagger you’d expect from an icon. But Shadow Legacy has a whole host of gameplay modifications that will change the way you play Siege. Ping 2.0, new and updated optics, a hard-breaching secondary gadget, pooled reinforcements, and map ban, plus the match replay alpha phase on the Test Server, are just some of the updates that, along with a rework of the scenic Chalet map, will ensure this season has a lasting legacy.

As you can see, Fisher is armed to the teeth with some of his toys from the Splinter Cell franchise. He has the Argus Launcher that can burrow itself into walls for some much-needed intel on specific areas of the map. We also get to see the ping 2.0 system in play here, as well as some of the other features hitting Rainbow Six Siege players soon.

No firm release date on when we’ll see Operation Shadow Legacy will drop, but same as before, it’ll be free for  everyone, though those with the Rainbow Six Siege Year 5 pass will be able to unlock and play as Fisher ASAP, while regular players will need to wait seven days to be able to purchase the new Operator for Renown Points

Report: Retailer States Marvel’s Avengers Spider-Man Swings Out in March

Just a few weeks ago, Crystal Dynamics made a splash with Marvel’s Avengers when it announced that Spider-Man would be joining the roster, and unfortunately, will be exclusive on PlayStation platforms. While the devs have only mentioned we’ll see Marvel’s Avengers Spider-Man swing his way sometime in 2021, it looks like we have a more definite release window.

UK retailer GAME has sent out emails stating that Spider-Man will zip his way into Marvel’s Avengers in March! Reddit user Judewhite1 has kindly enough sent us the email of it as proof:

As you can see, it plainly states, “PlayStation is the only place to play as Spider-Man when he swings into Marvel’s Avengers next March. Obviously, there’s no firm date just yet, but Marvel fans at least know now when webhead will be in the game — at least for those playing on the PS4 (or PS5).

Bear in mind that this has not been confirmed by Square Enix or Crystal Dynamics, so take it with a pinch of salt for now. That said, Spider-Man’s involvement in the game was also outed by a retailer, and we all know how that turned out to be legit.

For those on PS4, don’t forget, the beta is now available to play and download for everyone! Check out our hands-on impressions to see what we make of it.

Apex Legends Rampart Abilities Shown Off in Latest Video

With Season 6 of Apex Legends starting next week, no doub the highlight of the new season is the introduction of a new legend named Rampart. Curious what she can do? Respawn Entertainment has the Apex Legends Rampart abilities video!

When one door burns to the ground, another opens. Ramya “Rampart” Parekh lost her shop, but she gained an invite to the Apex Games. She may not have set out to become a Legend, but now that she’s here, she’s excited to show the world what Sheila can do.

Rampart can’t go home, so she’s going big — her natural affinity for LMGs allows her to shoot more and reload faster. She can drop a high-tech cover to block incoming shots and joice up her team’s fire. And when you really need to call in the big guns, her Ultimate does just that. When you meet Sheila, you better hope she’s on your side.

If you want to check her abilities out without needing to watch, we’ve listed them down below along with the official description of each!

Tactical:

Amped Cover – Build a crouch-cover wall which deploys full-cover amped wall that blocks incoming shots and amps outgoing shots.

Passive:

Modded Loader – Increased magazine/heat capacity and faster reloads/recharge when using LMGs and the Minigun

Ultimate:

Emplaced Minigun “Shield” – Place a mounted machine gun that anyone can cause high ammo capacity/long reloading

I have to say, Rampart seems to be my kind of legend! Check out the official gameplay and release time of Season 6 right here. Don’t forget, we also posted about a conpound bow being outed by a dev, though we don’t know just when this weapon will be available in the game (if at all).
