Pre-Load Destiny on Xbox One, Reads Store Game Description [Updated]

Update

It appears that Xbox’s Larry “Major Nelson” Hyrb has confirmed via his blog that pre-loading will be available for Destiny on Xbox One before it launches on September 9.

In addition, a digital version of Destiny on Xbox 360 will be available to download at launch.

Original Story

According to the console’s online store, Xbox One users may be able to pre-purchase and pre-download Bungie’s upcoming shooter, Destiny, before its September 9 release.

The game’s description on the store reads that users “may download the game from Xbox Live before [9/9/2014], but [Destiny] will not be playable until 12:01 AM PDT / 3.01 AM EDT on the release date.”

Screen Shot 2014-08-27 at 9.55.22 AM

The same appears to apply to both the Standard Edition and Digital Guardian Edition of the game.

Xbox One is expected to receive pre-loading in September, but Microsoft previously made it clear that the feature will debut with the launch of FIFA 15 on September 26 and then Forza Horizon 2 on September 30. No mention of Destiny was made in the original announcement. We’ve also yet to hear anything official from Bungie or Activition regarding Destiny pre-loading on Xbox One.

Keep your sights on MP1st for updates!

PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 users will be able to pre-load Destiny starting on September 4.

Diablo 3 Patch 2.1.0 on PC Introduces New Features – Seasons, Greater Rifts, and More

Diablo 3 patch 2.1.0 is introducing some significant new features to the PC version of the game, namely, Seasons, Greater Rifts, Leaderboards, and a new Rift environment called The Cesspools.

Seasons

Seasons offer players the chance to build a Normal or Hardcore character from scratch in the duration of a Season, similar to Ladders in Diablo 2. These characters will have their own shared stash and artisan progression, which, along with items, gold, and Paragon experience, will be transferred over to non-Season characters once the Season is over.

New Legendary items and an exclusive Transmorgification set will also be available as rewards for Season characters, but will also be up for grabs for non-Season characters after the Season’s conclusion. You’ll also find new Season-exclusive achievements called Conquests which are tracked in the new Leaderboard system

The first season begins this Friday August 29. More details can be found here.

Greater Rifts

Greater Rifts are more difficult timed Nephalem Rifts that offer progressive challenges. Completing a Greater Rift within the time limit will grant players access to the next level — a survival game mode, of sorts.

Players will keep progressing through Rifts until one can no longer be completed within the time limit. Results are once again tracked on the new Leaderboard system.

Leaderboards

The new Leaderboards are a way to track progress and achievements within Diablo 3’s two new features, Seasons and Greater Rifts.

They will track Greater Rifts clear times, Seasonal achievement point totals, and Seasonal Conquest completion ranking across several different game styles. You’ll also be able to compare stats with players in your region, on your friends list, or in your clan roster.

The Cesspools

The Cesspools are a new environment that players participating in Nephalem or Greater Rifts will have the chance to spawn in.

According to Blizzard, The Cesspools were originally designed as a playable area in the Reaper of Souls expansion, but were instead introduced as new Rift levels. “We weren’t quite able to include the Cesspools in the list of playable environments in Reaper of Souls by the time the expansion launched,” said the studio. “Still, we loved the look and feel of this festering, dank underworld and have spent some time polishing it up for use in Nephalem Rifts and Greater Rifts. We hope you enjoy this new randomized landscape!”

For the entire list of Diablo 3 Patch 2.1.0 notes, be sure to check out this page and have a look at the overview trailer above.

Multiplayer is Coming to Dragon Age: Inquisition, Will Be Supported With Free DLC

Dragon Age: Inquisition, the third entry in BioWare’s epic fantasy RPG series, will sport four-player co-operative multiplayer at launch.

According to IGN, the newly announced mode will challenge you and three other friends to take on three different multiplayer campaigns, each lasting about 20 to 30 minutes in time. Each campaign randomly generates a large level comprised of 10 smaller pre-designed sections. Every play through will vary not only in arenas, but also enemy encounters. In the multiplayer environment, combat is all in real-time, so gamers won’t have the same chance to stop time and plan attacks.

Like Mass Effect 3’s multiplayer, players will earn gold during each play through that can be used to unlock Treasure Chests that carry items like recipes, potions, grenades, new equipment, heroes, and hero skins. Items and equipment are not up for purchase with real money, but players can opt to trade real dollars for more in-game gold in order to speed up the unlocking process.

Nine heroes are offered at launch, three in each class — mage, melee, and archer — with more to be added through free DLC which also will include new levels.

Catch IGN’s first impressions here.

Dragon Age: Inquisition launches on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC on November 18.

Diablo 3: Ultimate Evil Edition Review – Definitive Co-Op Action on Consoles

It’s been 11 long months since the arrival of Blizzard Entertainment’s popular dungeon crawler, Diablo 3, on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 — even longer since it’s initial launch on PC and Mac back in May, 2012. Life in the world of Sanctuary has since begun to grow rather stale.

Thankfully, as of August 19th, 2014, those who still just can’t get enough of Diablo’s tried-and-true, addicting hack-and-slash formula finally have some new content to look forward to.

Diablo 3

Diablo 3’s third official release, the Ultimate Evil Edition, on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One includes the base game along with the Reaper Of Souls expansion and other goodies like the timed-exclusive Apprentice Mode and more. If you’re on the fence and don’t think the content included justifies the cost of a full-priced game or would rather wait for the PC version to receive these features, to simply put it, you’ll be missing out on a lot of fun before all the big games arrive in Q4 of this year. Of course, that depends on how many times you’ve already purchased the game in the past and if you’re willing to buy it once more at full retail value

Diablo 3, as you know it, has been reworked from the bottom up to make the game even more enjoyable than it already was on previous-gen consoles and a better experience overall — even better than the PC version. How so? It’s pretty simple thanks to features like the Apprentice Mode which allows you and your friends to play at an equal level, regardless of whether or not your friend is 10, 20, or even 30 levels higher than you. Anyone ranked lower than the highest level party member will receive buffs across the board to help them combat the tougher evils of Sanctuary without slowing the pace of combat down.

Screen Shot 2014-08-26 at 11.50.04 AM

However, it should be noted that Apprentice Mode will only activate during normal mode and not in Hardcore mode. So, those who love to play with more on the line and want to enjoy that experience alongside a friend might reconsider, as the buffs from Apprentice won’t apply.

Apprentice Mode isn’t the only new addition to the next-gen console version of the game. The Ultimate Evil Edition also boasts a pretty nifty feature called the Mail System which allows your friends to send you items and other goodies without the need to join your game. That’s not all, as the Mail System also allows friends to send eachother “gifts” that drop from Elite enemies. You can tell you’ve received one when an envelope icon is displayed on the lower left corner of your HUD. These gifts also usually turn out to be either Rare, Legendary, or Set items, if you’re lucky:

Screen Shot 2014-08-26 at 12.02.37 PM

Unfortunately, those who pick up these gifts from slain monsters don’t really have the choice of who they can be sent to as they’ll be randomly assigned to someone on your friends list. That said, I would recommend making as many friends as possible while playing the Ultimate Evil Edition, as having more friends on your list playing the same game will yield a higher chance in earning practically free Legendary items.

On the flip side, having numerous gamers on your friends list playing the same game also introduces a potentially dangerous scenario thanks to the new Nemesis Mode. This sinister feature will send an Elite monster who’s slain someone from your friends list in to your game, essentially hunting you down across games. They should not be taken lightly either, as they will enter your game world with added abilities and will generally be tougher to kill than your average Champion enemy.

Screen Shot 2014-08-26 at 11.58.23 AM

Aside from these great timed console-exclusive features, Ultimate Evil Edition includes both the base game of Diablo 3 and its first expansion pack, Reaper Of Souls, along with patch 2.0.6 installed via a day one update. It’s a breath of fresh air, considering the console version of Diablo 3 has barely been supported by Blizzard up until now, aside from two or three patches since. But, much like its predecessor, the Ultimate Evil Edition still faces one big problem, despite Blizzard’s attempt to address the issue via a patch earlier this month for vanilla Diablo 3.

Artificially modded items, most noticeably modded weapons, still exist in this revision due to players uploading their saves from the original Diablo 3 ridden with modded items. While an unfortunate hiccup, the feature works wonderfully for those who don’t want to start completely fresh.

Those who do clear their plate and decide to start from scratch won’t have to worry about completing the campaign numerous times in order to reach the max level of 70. Blizzard has tweaked the amount of experience points earned in the campaign so that, by the time you complete Act V for the first time, you should easily be around the level 55-60 mark. In vanilla Diablo 3, you were required to beat the whole campaign around three or four times to even reach those levels. This ultimately makes the game much less of a chore and lets players unlock the end game content, such as Adventure mode and Nephalem Rifts, much earlier.

Screen Shot 2014-08-26 at 12.30.37 PM

Speaking of patches, or the lack thereof, for those playing the Diablo 3: Ultimate Evil Edition on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One platforms will be happy to know that, unlike it predecessor, the new console version will be receiving future updates more frequently that add content and more.

If you haven’t been keeping up with Diablo 3 news since the Reaper Of Souls expansion launched, you’re in for a treat with the new Adventure and Nephalem Rift modes.

Adventure Mode allows you to complete five bounties per act which will earn you Rift Keystone Fragments. If you also happen to complete all five bounties within an act, Tyrael will give you a Horadric Cache that will, upon opening, shower you with items and even potentially score you legendary items that are exclusive to the Cache.

Screen Shot 2014-08-26 at 11.56.33 AM

Nephalem Rifts, which require five Rift Keystone Fragments to open, are the ultimate test for you and your fellow Nephalem as you’re pitted against random sets of enemies and elites until you fill up the bar to 100. Doing so will summon the Rift Guardian who will attack you and your friends who, upon defeating, will award you with more items and Blood Shards. Obtaining Blood Shards through your various Rift runs allows you to essentially gamble for mysterious items via the Blood Shard vendor, Kadala. She is capable of giving you items ranging from blue tier all the way up to orange or green tier at random. Though, to be honest, it may take a while in order to receive something worthwhile.

4.5 / 5

Once again, it appears that Blizzard has crafted the console version of their popular dungeon crawler to be the definitive version, thanks to the very appealing features like Adventure Mode and the Mail System. I’m prompted to give Diablo 3: Ultimate Evil Edition a 4.5/5, despite some small issues like modded weapons still being prevalent in the game.

Furthermore, unlike the original Diablo 3, the Ultimate Evil Edition will boast increased replay value thanks to post-launch support via patches for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Looking back at the life of Diablo 3 on consoles, post-launch support may have been my biggest issue with the game.

Those looking for some of the most addicting and easily digestible online or couch co-op action on consoles, Diablo is still the place to be. If upgrading to the next-gen version is in agreeance with your wallet, the Ultimate Evil Edition is an improvement in nearly every aspect.

Amazon Officially Acquires Twitch To Build on ‘Shared Values and Long-Term Vision’

Confirming whisperings from earlier this morning, the world’s most popular internet broadcasting service has been acquired by Amazon, the company announced today.

Twitch Interactive, formed in June of 2011, quickly grew to become the most widely used live video platform amongst gamers, bringing in tens of millions of viewers each month. In February earlier this year, The Wall Street Journal ranked Twitch as the 4th largest website with regards to peak internet traffic in the United States. By the end of 2014, Amazon will have bought the service for approximately $970 million in cash.

“Today, I’m pleased to announce we’ve been acquired by Amazon,” Twitch CEO Emmet Shear wrote in a letter to the press. “We chose Amazon because they believe in our community, they share our values and long-term vision, and they want to help us get there faster.”

Earlier, it was reported that YouTube was on course to make the acquisition, but, as today’s news would indicate, Amazon struck the deal instead.

Shear went on to explain what this exactly means for long-time users of the service. “We’re keeping most everything the same: our office, our employees, our brand, and most importantly our independence,” he said. “But with Amazon’s support we’ll have the resources to bring you an even better Twitch.”

In a separate statement, Shear added that “Amazon and Twitch optimize for our customers first and are both believers in the future of gaming. Being part of Amazon will let us do even more for our community. We will be able to create tools and services faster than we could have independently. This change will mean great things for our community, and will let us bring Twitch to even more people around the world.”

“It’s dangerous to go alone. On behalf of myself and everyone else at Twitch, thank you for coming with us.”

“That’s Cool” If You Don’t Think Hardline is a True Battlefield Game, Says Visceral GM

Many of you have even said it right here in the comment sections of MP1st: “Hardline isn’t a true Battlefield game.”

Whatever your verdict on the studio’s cops vs. criminals spin-off shooter is, Visceral Games general manager Steve Papoutsis is cool with it, as long as you’ve made up your mind after having played it.

“There are a lot of people questioning whether or not Hardline is a true Battlefield game,” Papoutsis admitted in a video interview with Battlefield YouTube commentators SgtRedPhoenix, Chaboyy, Azzy, and TheTwoScotsmen.

“I could say, ‘Of course it is!’ But, you know what? It doesn’t matter what I say. I think, ultimately, what matters is that people play it,” he continued. “So, days like today [at Gamescom 2014], where we can have gamers actually play it and make up their own mind, that’s what’s most important — to let players decide for themselves.

“When we started working on this game, we had a high degree of respect and reverence for Battlefield. Having played it since the very first Battlefield game, I know how fun it is and I know how much it means to the community, and the last thing I’d ever want to do is be involved in a game that pretended to be Battlefield. So, we’re working really hard to maintain that competitive balance, that great rock-paper-scissors gameplay, that teamwork, that strategy — we’re trying to make sure all that stuff’s in Hardline.”

Battlefield Hardline, officially announced back at E3 2014, certainly takes the series into unexplored territory, moving it away from the tried-and-true military setting its audience has grown accustomed to. It appears that Visceral knew not everyone would welcome the new direction with open arms, and so the studio launched a multiplayer beta the moment the game was unveiled in hopes that some hands-on time with the new concept would do most of the selling.

“We took our first step at E3 when we announced the game, and we didn’t just announce the game and then have everybody go, ‘Ah, pshhh. Bullox! This is crap! Nah, that’s not Battlefield,’ Papoutsis explained. “No. What we did was we announced the game and then we immediately put a beta up live.”

“The reason why did that was so that people could actually play it and make their own decision about it. So, not only was that good for letting people get a chance to play it, but it was good for us ’cause we got to get feedback from people like you guys about maybe what was good, maybe what was bad, maybe what sucked, and we could actually take the time to improve the game through that feedback.”

Feedback thus far has given the studio a lot to work with, which ultimately led to the decision to delay the shooter to early next year. A number of tweaks and improvements have already been made since the first beta came to a close, including changes that would better serve the cops and criminals fantasy.

“So, I’ll throw it back to everybody,” Papoutsis said. “If you don’t think the game is a Battlefield game and you’ve played it, that’s cool. That’s your decision. But, from my perspective, send us some feedback that maybe we can use to make it meet your expectations more because we want to make a great game. But, at the end of the day, we’re excited and passionate about making a Battlefield game and working with [community members] to really listen to the community and try to make sure it lives up to the standards that the fans have of the series.”

Battlefield Hardline will return with a second multiplayer beta on PC, PS4, and Xbox One this January, reportedly, before officially launching some time in February, 2015.

What’s your take on the temporary new direction Battlefield is headed in with Visceral’s release? If you missed it, you can catch our thoughts in our official Battlefield Hardline multiplayer preview.

Xbox Live Experiencing Sign In Issues, Core Services “Limited,” Says Xbox Support [Updated]

Update

According to the official Xbox’s Support Page, Xbox Live Core Services are back up and running, save for issues currently affecting Diablo III on Xbox 360 and Xbox One.

Screen Shot 2014-08-24 at 6.41.00 PM

You’ll find updates here.

Original Story

In the wake of attacks on Sony’s PlayStation Network, users on Microsoft’s Xbox 360 and Xbox One are now reporting issues signing in to Xbox Live’s online services.

Reports are coming in from both Xbox 360 and Xbox One forums on Reddit, though the interruption is seemingly affecting only a handful of individuals and does not appear to be widespread.

It’s also not clear if the interruption has anything to do with the attacks Sony’s PSN is experiencing or if it is an entirely separate issue. If the same group is attempting a DDOS attack on Xbox Live services, their efforts don’t appear to be as effective. As of this writing, MP1st staff is still able to sign in and out of Xbox 360 and Xbox One profiles without trouble.

Nevertheless, as of this writing, Xbox’s support page now lists “Limited” Xbox Live Core Services:

We’ll be sure to keep you updated with the status of both Sony’s PlayStation Network and Microsoft’s Xbox Live services, so keep your sights on MP1st.

PlayStation Network Down Due To DDOS Attack [Updated]

Update 2

Sony reports PlayStation Network online services are returning, though users may continue to experience difficulty logging in, slowness, and authentication failures for a while.

Update 1

Sony has acknowledged the DDOS attack and has released an official statement:

“Like other major networks around the world, the PlayStation Network and Sony Entertainment Network have been impacted by an attempt to overwhelm our network with artificially high traffic.

Although this has impacted your ability to access our network and enjoy our services, no personal information has been accessed.
We will continue to work towards fixing this issue and hope to have our services up and running as soon as possible.

We regret any inconvenience this may have caused.”

Original Story

A ‘hacking’ group who calls itself “The Lizard Squad” have come out with claims, saying that they are responsible for the DDOS attack against the PlayStation Network, Blizzard, Riot Games, and Grinding Gear Games, causing some of their services to become unavailable.

John Smeadley, President of Sony Online Entertainment has acknowledged the DDOS attack, and has come out to say that they are working on resolving the issue.

As it stands, PSN appears to be down almost everywhere with a few reporting that they have managed to get back online. Do note that this isn’t like the notorious PSN hack that happened four years ago. This is only  a DDOS attack, and for those who don’t l know what that is, you can catch the description below. Though, if this does progress to something more, we will be sure to update you on that.

Wiki: in a DDoS attack, the incoming traffic flooding the victim originates from many different sources – potentially hundreds of thousands or more. This effectively makes it impossible to stop the attack simply by blocking a single IP address; plus, it is very difficult to distinguish legitimate user traffic from attack traffic when spread across so many points of origin.

In short, the servers are being overloaded with ‘fake’ traffic.

This is a bit unfortunate for PlayStation gamers as tomorrow, Sony is scheduled to perform a mandatory maintenance.

We’ll be sure to keep you updated when the services come back online.

Advanced Warfare Is Built Equally For Casual and Competitive Gamers, Says Lead MP Designer

Call of Duty’s community is often seen as a two-sided coin — you’ve got your casual gamers on one side and competitive gamers on the other, and it can be tricky balancing act attempting pleasing the two.

Treyarch’s Black Ops 2 was the first to publicly push eSports features in a Call of Duty title, leaving casual audiences feeling uncared for, according to more vocal members of that community. Infinity Ward’s Ghosts seemingly took a few steps back in the eSports department, leaving the competitive crowd starving for more support.

According to Sledgehammer Games lead multiplayer designer Greg Reisdorf, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is built equally for both audiences.

“Casual gamers are the majority of our audience, and the game is built for them. But the game is also built for eSports,” Reisdorf told Gamasutra in an interview.

“A lot of it is making sure we know what the eSports community is interested in, so we can build features to help them,” he continued. “We listen to their feedback and want to provide them with support, but just as much as anybody else.”

Reisdorf believes that a more competitive shooter, however, leads to a more balanced experience for all parties involved. He says that, “at the end of the day, it has to be a competitive game – if it’s not competitive, that means it’s not balanced. That means no-one’s having fun, and it’s not going to be around for very long.”

Do you agree with Reisdorf’s thoughts? Do you think Sledgehammer can strike a balance between the two sometimes conflicting crowds?

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare arrives November 3. If you haven’t yet, be sure to read our thoughts on Sledgehammer’s shooter after many hours of hands-on time.

Is That Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare’s “Pipeline” Map in Advanced Warfare’s Multiplayer Trailer?

Long-time fans of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare were pleased to learn last month that the classic multiplayer map Pipeline is making a return in 2014 as a re-imagined map in Sledgehammer Games’ Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare.

Gorge, included in all collector’s editions of Advanced Warfare, takes place in the Three Gorges Dam in Central China commandeered by the Atlas Corporation. No images or gameplay clips of the remake have been officially outed by the studio since the announcement, but that doesn’t mean you haven’t seen it yet.

We caught this Tweet from Sledgehammer co-founder Michael Condrey, which led us to a video by YouTube personality Unknown Player who may have been the first to spot a glimpse of the map in Advanced Warfare’s debut multiplayer gameplay trailer.

Check out his findings below:

[youtube id=”JuQ3m3EwY8I”]

He makes some pretty strong arguments and it wouldn’t be too surprising that Sledgehammer would leave some clues behind in the game’s multiplayer introduction trailer.

Condrey’s Tweet, mentioned above, also clearly indicates that Unknown Player is indeed on to something:

What do you think? Do those comparisons make sense?

Keep your sights locked on MP1st for more news on Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, launching November 3.

Destiny is Gold, Bungie Preps For Launch and Upcoming PAX Panel

Destiny, the new IP from world-class video game developer Bungie, is now gold. Development on the epic shared-world shooter, at least the version you’ll be getting at launch on September 9, is now complete, the studio confirmed in its latest Weekly Update.

“Now, we’re very close to launch – the final weeks,” wrote Bungie community manager, David “DeeJ” Dague. “This next milestone carries a heavier weight of finality. Destiny is Gold. Discs are being pressed and packed into crates. Destiny is done, in some respects. Even now, so close to the end, it still feels like we’re just getting started.”

According to Bungie, Destiny servers will be live the moment it hits September 9 somewhere in the world. No sooner or no later. “Retailers will stick to time-zones. Our servers won’t know the difference. Retailers will break street date. Our servers won’t,” said Dague. Until then, it might be a good idea to get familiar with Destiny’s social hub on Bungie.net, if you haven’t already. Be sure to sign up, link your profiles, and, if your a member of a Clan created during the Destiny beta, reaffirm your allegiance.

In Bungie’s latest Weekly Update, Dague also reconfirmed that players will not be able to trade items with other Guardians in The Tower. “As for swapping irons in the Tower? Nope. We want you to earn ‘em,” he wrote. “You should be able to tell a badass story for every sweet jewel in your arsenal. Once you earn them, the various Guardians under your account will be able to trade them, but weapons belong to the players who acquire them through action and bravery.”

Dague also explained that events in the retail game won’t mimic events in the Destiny Beta, mentioning that “The Beta was all about driving traffic toward the game at key moments.” Events like the Iron Banner in the final game will last much longer. “Everyone will have a chance to rally to its call,” he added.

While making sure all systems are go for launch, Bungie is also prepping for an upcoming PAX Prime panel where key members of the studio will lead discussions about Destiny’s past, present, and future. Be sure to keep your eyes and ears open for new details around noon PST on Sunday, August 31.

Destiny is on its way to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360, landing on September 9. If you can’t quite feel the excitement in the air just yet, maybe Destiny’s official launch trailer will give you the kick you need to get hyped.

Fans of Infinity Ward’s latest shooter have a couple of 24/7 playlists to look forward to in the coming days.

Call of Duty: Ghosts is getting two 24/7 playlists across all platforms — one today, Friday, August 22, and one two Fridays from now on September 5.

Influenced by results gathered from a recent survey, today’s playlist highlights the vanilla map Freight, while September 5th’s playlist will highlight the DLC map Showtime, a remake of the classic Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 map, Shipment, in celebration of the launch of Nemesis DLC on PS4, PS3, and PC August 4.

Infinity Ward made the announcement on Twitter:

What other Ghosts maps would you like to see get the 24/7 treatment? Also, what’s your take on the re-imagining of COD4’s Shipment? Is is better or worse than the original?

The Last of Us Upcoming New DLC Maps Will Be Free, Update On Matchmaking Issues

Teased late last month, Naughty Dog has announced that the two new upcoming maps for The Last of Us will be released at no cost.

They stated on their official blog post that the maps will be free due to many still waiting patiently for the match making system to be fixed. This certainly is great news as many have felt that the new maps, if they had to be paid for, would divide the community up too fast. As for an update on the match making system, despite the recent patch fixing it for some, Naughty Dog continues to find more ways to improve it, and has stated that they have something in the works that is estimated to go up in a matter of weeks.

“Over the last two weeks, we’ve discovered that the most significant improvements may come from working with other teams at PlayStation to make updates to some of the existing matchmaking libraries. Since we are working with multiple groups inside and outside of the studio, we don’t yet have an exact date on when these updates will roll out. Our current estimate is on the short side of weeks, rather than months. We’ll be sure to keep you updated the moment we can provide more specific timing, or an actual date.”

The two new maps currently do not have a set release date, though a developer live stream showing them off is suppose to happen soon. They will be free for both new owners of the Remastered PS4 version, and for the PS3 version.
