Mortal Kombat 9 Servers Will Survive GameSpy Shutdown, Next-Gen Mortal Kombat Set For 2017?

Though GameSpy closing its doors on May 31, Mortal Kombat 9 will “continue to run online”, according to series creator Ed Boon.

He didn’t really provide any details, but it looks like fans will get to keep the fight online past the May 31 deadline. That’s also good news for those who may have just purchased MK 9 during this past weekend’s PSN flash sale.

Additionally, it appears that the rumored 10th entry in the Mortal Kombat series that Boon has been teasing may come to both current-gent and next gen consoles, as he mentioned in response to Twitter questions that fans may have to wait until 2017 for a proper next-gen Mortal Kombat.

Speaking of teasers, it appears that Boon is referring to the next Injustice title as “Injustice Too” and has teased that Beast Boy and the ruler of Apokolips, DarkSeid, will be included in the game’s roster alongside Power Girl.

Star Wars: Battlefront II Multiplayer Will Stay Online Through GameRanger

Although Disney has announced it won’t support Star Wars: Battlefront II multiplayer beyond the GameSpy shutdown, GameRanger will keep its servers online for the game.

“As of May 31, 2014, online functionality, including network multiplayer and wireless chat, will no longer be available for this title. We regret any disappointment as a result of the shutdown of the services supporting these online features,” the developer stated on the game’s official Steam page.

Fortunately, GameRanger’s creator, Scott Kevill, stepped in to assure that the title will stay online through his companies servers. He noted on Reddit, “people are already playing it just fine on GameRanger, and will continue to after May 31. (I’ve already simulated it with GameSpy blocked and cut-off.)”

It’s worth noting that the GameRanger has recently added support for Halo: Combat Evolved, Halo: Combat Evolved Demo, and Halo: Custom Edition keeping these Halo titles functional beyond the imminent shutdown.

Advanced Warfare is Activision’s First ‘Pure Next-Gen’ Call of Duty, Will Have ‘New Melee Mechanics’

During video game publisher Activision’s most recent earnings call, Activision Publishing CEO Eric Hirshberg detailed a few of the effects a next-gen-focused development cycle will have on Sledgehammer Games’ recently unveiled Call of Duty title, Advanced Warfare.

According to Hirshberg, first and foremost, fans should notice a significant increase in “visual and graphical fidelity and polish,” he said.

“[Advanced Warfare] is our first true next-gen – pure next-gen development where we have access to the new hardware throughout the development process, unlike Ghosts which was cross gen.”

“It’s allowed more time for experimentation, creativity, and iteration in the development process,” he added. “That lead to things like us adding some of the first new mechanics and core gameplay in the franchise in a long time – things like boost jump, and EXO strength, and new melee mechanics which we’ve also had time to test with our players to make sure that they resonate and will create a compelling and balanced gameplay.”

Earlier reports revealed that other EXO suit abilities also include boost-dodge techniques, slow-mo capabilities, grappling enhancements, and zip lines.

Hirshberg also hopes that Kevin Spacey’s performance in Advanced Warfare’s single player campaign, captured with “full performance capture technology that [Activision] revealed last year at DGC,” will will reach “iconic” status.

What sort of new “melee mechanics” would you like to see or think will be implemented in Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare?

More Hints From Mortal Kombat Creator Tease June 2 Announcement and New Injustice Title

As we reported yesterday, Ed boon, creator of the Mortal Kombat franchise, was seen counting down to June 2 for some type of announcement, according to his cryptic riddles on Twitter.

Today, Boon dropped another riddle for us, which is a lot easier to solve for those who don’t have much time to spare:

The answer to this riddle is 27, further confirming a count down to June 2.

It also appears that Boon is teasing another Injustice: Gods Among Us title when he asked what special moves would people like to see Power Girl from the DC comics have. Interestingly enough, Boon replied to a rather bummed out Injustice fan about Power Girl not being included as a playable character in the first title, saying:

In addition, when Boon was asked whether or not he would announce a new Mortal Kombat title or Injustice on June 2, he simply replied, “No, no…Injustice Too!”

Considering Ed Boon’s reputation to “troll” Mortal Kombat fans, you should take the last bit with a grain of salt. However, a DC rep revealed earlier that a new Injustice game will be released in the future.

Keep your eyes and ears open on June 2 for announcements!

Ghosts One of Q1’s Best Selling Titles, Destiny To Be ‘Largest New Videogame IP Launch in History’

Video game publisher Activision’s most recent financial results are in and Infinity Ward’s Call of Duty: Ghosts is among the top two best-selling titles for the first quarter of 2014.

“For the first quarter of 2014, in North America and Europe combined, Activision Publishing had the #1 and #2 best-selling titles– Skylanders SWAP Force and Call of Duty: Ghosts,” wrote the publisher in a press release.

Activision Blizzard Chief Executive Officer Bobby Kotick went on to detail the company’s plans for the rest of the year, predicting Bungie’s upcoming shared-world shooter, Destiny, to be the “largest new videogame IP launch in history.”

“We have a strong product pipeline for the balance of the year, beginning with the September 9th planned launch of Destiny, which we believe could become our next billion dollar franchise and the largest new videogame IP launch in history,” Kotick said.

“Activision Publishing also recently announced that Skylanders: Trap Team and Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare are expected to be released on October 5 and November 4, respectively. In addition to plans for new content for Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft and the release of Diablo III: Ultimate Evil Edition™ on console later this year, Blizzard Entertainment expects to launch World of Warcraft: Warlords of Draenor™, which is already one of the fastest selling expansions in the franchise’s history based on pre-sales, in the second half of 2014.”

We recently learned that Activision has allocated a $500 million budget to Destiny and the team at Bungie, placing high expectations on the brand new IP launching this September 9.

Likewise, Call of Duty fans are looking forward to the launch of Sledgehammer Games’ Advanced Warfare this November 4.

EA’s Next Shooter Likely Still On Course For October Release, TBA at E3 2014

Things have been awfully quiet on the EA front with regards to their unannounced but expected Fall 2014 shooter.

With no news, we’re still uncertain if it’s another entry in the Battlefield franchise, if it’s a completely new IP, or who is even developing it. After all, DICE’s hands seem pretty tied up with upcoming titles like Mirror’s Edge 2 and Star Wars: Battlefront.

However, news of the publisher’s upcoming fiscal year 2015 plan has confirmed that a “TBA” title is still on course for a quarter three launch.

According to a slide in EA’s Q4 FY 2014 presentation, confirmed titles for Q3 FY 2015 are NBA Live 15 (Console), Dragon Age: Inquisition, (Console, PC), and “TBA” (Console, PC).

eawtftvejr

For those who are unaware, Q3 of EA’s FY 2015 begins on October 1, 2014 and ends on December 31, 2014. So, while the listing doesn’t explicitly say ‘EA shooter’, its highly likely that EA’s next shooter will be announced shortly before or during E3 2014, and will launch in October of this year, as has traditionally been the case with the most recent EA shooters.

What do you think EA has up their sleeve?

Update

EA has confirmed during their most recent earnings conference call that their unannounced Q3 title will be unveiled at E3 2014. They’ve also confirmed it will be built on the Frostbite 3 engine and is in development at a “flagship developer”.

COD: Advanced Warfare GDC Image Proof of “Commitment to our Project,” Says Sledgehammer

The engine of Call of Duty’s “hype train” ignited with explosive ferocity just last month when the very first image of Sledgehammer Games’ upcoming project was unveiled.

Though it showed nothing more than a highly detailed rendering of a soldier’s face, it sure did a good job kicking off the excitement and speculation, which came to a peak on May 1 when Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare was announced.

Just recently, the studio overhauled their official website to reflect a “new era” of Call of Duty, which was updated with a high-resolution upload of the same GDC image teased last month. Check it below.

Advanced Warfare

In a letter from the studio, Sledgehammer writes, “To say that the team is excited about this week would be an understatement, and after close to three years we’re finally able to start talking about the project to our fans.”

“We honestly couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate our excitement for the reveal of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare than releasing the high-resolution image we teased at GDC 2014 during Glen Schofield and Michael Condrey’s talk entitled Quest for Quality: Maximizing the Relationship between Creative and Production. The image is meant to show off our level of our commitment to our project, and we couldn’t be prouder of the level of clarity we’re able to achieve on our fully in-game rendered characters.”

Schofield and Condrey have a lot to prove, this being their first Call of Duty solo gig after assisting Infinity Ward in the development of Modern Warfare 3. But it sound like they have a plan, offering a “different Call of Duty” this year that “experiments [with] the core mechanics” of the shooter, they explained earlier.

Schofield and Condrey are bringing Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare to Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC on November 4.

The Last of Us Patch 1.07 Details – Fixes Many Bugs

The Last of Us Reclaimed Territories DLC hits PlayStation 3 today. Developer Naughty Dog has outed a brand new launch trailer yesterday to celebrate, which you can catch here.

Weighing at 151MB, The Last of Us patch 1.07 is also set to release later today alongside the new DLC.

With this patch, players can expect many of the recent bugs in the game to be fixed. It seems to be a variation of network bug fixes, and in-game fixes. They range from the annoying invisible player who isn’t there bug, to exploits of the supply boxes and other game mechanics.

Check out the full rundown, as seen on the PSBlog. UPDATE: We’ve included the expanded update list. It’s a hefty one.

Single Player

  • Grounded Difficulty added for Single Player.
    • Want a challenge? This mode is for the toughest of the hardcore. Super aggressive AI. Bring your best game or you won’t survive.

Multiplayer

Bug Fixes

  • Invisibility & Stuck-on-black-screen bug
    • Players who have become invisible or are stuck on a black screen (typically when waiting to respawn) will be kicked from the match.
    • Players who are kicked will not advance a clan day and suffer any clan losses.
  • Fixed a bug that allowed players to exploit supply boxes for extra ammo and 2x4s.
  • Fixed a bug that allowed player who was the Last One Standing to get additional comeback items from multiple supply boxes.
  • Fixed a bug where the game would sometimes crash when late joining a match.
  • Fixed a bug where players on opposite teams who are spawning at the same time would sometimes spawn near each other.
  • Fixed a bug where players would sometimes get stuck on a black screen when the host quits out during the match intro.
  • Fixed a bug that allowed players to avoid being stunned by a smoke bomb by vaulting over cover.
  • Fixed a rare crash that occurred for the player who stayed in a matchmaking game after all other players had quit.
  • Fixed a bug that prevented the death grunt VOX from playing when dying.
  • Fixed an issue that prevented players from properly shiv killing an enemy who was unlocking the lockbox.
  • Fixed an issue that prevented players using an upgraded 2×4 from downing an enemy who was unlocking the lockbox while repeatedly pressing Triangle.
  • Corrected the alignment of many intro animation cameras.
  • Fixed an issue where players were receiving large weapon ammo when downing an enemy with a melee weapon after changing to a pistol-only loadout.
  • Fixed bug where players would sometimes get no ammo from a down/execution when using a pistol-only loadout.
  • Fixed a bug where player would hold their large firearm while doing a melee finisher.
  • Fixed a crash that occurred when the player would sign out while refreshing the in-game store.
  • Fixed an issue where game winning VOX would not play when a game of survivors was won with a shiv kill.
  • Fixed an issue where a player’s modded 2×4 attack animation would be canceled if a player vaulted over an object.
  • Fixed a bug where the shiv cone wasn’t aligned properly in certain cases, which made it easier to get a shiv from one side than the other.
  • The Military Sniper has reduced aim assist.

Melee

  • Machete now interrupts melee like a gunshot would.  This, combined with the change to a 3-hit swing allows it to beat an upgraded 2×4 in a fight where both players swing at the same time.
  • Machete now has a 3 swing animation and takes 3 hits to down.
  • Upgrading any Melee Weapon now requires 3 items to upgrade (blade, binding and rag).

Weapons

  • Burst Rifle now destroys armor in 2 bullets.
  • The first upgrade for the 9mm and Shorty now cost 250 parts.
  • The upgrades for the Hunting Rifle and Burst Rifle now cost 300 for the first level and 600 for the second level
  • The Hunting Rifle scope-in time is slightly faster at the base level. The upgraded levels have not changed.
  • The Hunting Rifle and Military Sniper headshot damage is increased. Now if you get a headshot on an enemy with a helmet, it will only take a body shot to down them.
  • Silenced weapon sounds now falloff at 70 meters.  Silenced weapons can be heard less easily at a distance.

Audio

  • Players wearing certain masks and helmets will now have a muffled filter added to their dialogue.
  • Players will now call out to teammates while in the down state.

Menu

  • Playlists have been updated:
    • Find Match (DLC 2) has been added.  This includes the new maps from the Reclaimed Territories map pack (available now), and the original maps, although the DLC maps will appear much more frequently.
    • Find Match (No Parties) is now at the top of the list for each gametype
    • Find Match renamed to Find Match (Parties Allowed)
    • Removed upcoming map image that would appear above the loadout selections during loading to make room for additional loadouts.
    • When the user clicks on a DLC item, they are now taken directly to the item to download instead of the store listing.

Survival Skills

  • Sharp Ears now has a third level and has had all levels significantly buffed.

Maps

  • Downtown has had its render settings altered to make players appear brighter on the level and to make the overall lighting on the level a bit brighter.
  • The depth of field on High School was tweaked to match the other multiplayer maps.

Supply Boxes

  • Supply boxes now only spawn comeback weapons (purchase weapon or machete) when a player is the “Last One Standing”. In situations where a player would have received a comeback weapon, that a player now receives a 2×4 (if they don’t already have one).
  • Increased threshold for comeback parts to spawn so they won’t spawn when a team is losing by a small margin.

New Maps

  • Water Tower
    • Set in Lincoln, PA, the Water Tower map features two primary chokepoints for some deadly face-to-face confrontations. It’s mainly an outdoor map with a few indoor areas and some very unique lighting. It might seem open but it’s really a tight map that’s perfect for close quarters melee.
  • Capitol
    • Set in Boston, the Capitol Map features indoor and outdoor gameplay. It encourages the intelligent use of flanking.
  • Coal Mine
    • Set in Colorado, Coal Mine is a winter map that is spotted with abandoned buildings. It’s a spacious map that has long lines of sight and a bridge that’s a perfect perch for snipers. The dynamic snowstorm obscures the view so be on your toes.
  • Wharf
    • Set in the rusted-out docks where Joel encountered Robert, the Wharf map features close quarters gameplay, two snipers nests, and a giant boat. It’s full of good opportunities for climbing, flanking and stealth.

Destiny $500 Million Budget On Course To Break Industry Records

Activision is placing a $500 million bet on Bungie’s upcoming project, an ambitious shared-world first-person shooter called Destiny.

But if there’s any studio that could deliver under that sort of pressure, it’s Bungie, who has the track record of delivering genre defining video game titles like Halo.

Activision CEO Bobby Kotick made the announcement during the Milken conference in Los Angeles last week. To put it in perspective, it’s estimated that $260 million was spent on Take-Two Interactive’s record-breaking hit, Grand Theft Auto 5, which went on to sell 32.5 million units as of last February. Destiny’s $500 million budget, which includes development costs and marketing, skyrockets past the amount Hollywood spends on some of its biggest firms.

“If you’re making a $500 million bet you can’t take that chance with someone else’s IP,” Kotick told the Milken conference. “The stakes for us are getting bigger.”

An Activision spokesperson added that “Bungie’s very ambitious plan is designed to unfold over a 10-year period. The depth of creative content, scope and scale is unprecedented and is required to bring Bungie’s vision to life.”

“Over the long term, we expect the ultimate product costs to be roughly in line with other Triple-A titles.”

Analysts say that in order to break even, Activision would need to sell about 15 to 16 million units of a $60 game. But as Kotick mentioned in Activision’s last quarterly financial reports, he fully expects Destiny to be the company’s “next billion dollar franchise.”

Destiny launches its beta this Summer with a full release on current and next-gen consoles this September 9.

Thanks, Reuters.

Rumor – Mortal Kombat Creator Counting Down To June 2 For Announcement

With E3 just a month away, you can be sure that wild speculation and rumors are bound to pop up with regards to what games and announcements we might see and hear at the expo.

However, Mortal Kombat creator Ed Boon isn’t waiting for E3 to break any news. It appears that he’s counting down to different date. Check out his cryptic Tweets:

For those who don’t feel like rattling their brains to figuring out the answer, it’s 29 and 28, respectively, likely indicating some sort of count down with each passing day. We conclude the final date to be June 2, when Boon might just make some sort of announcement.

In addition, the voice actor for Kitana and Mileena, Karen Stassman, has recently updated her resume, adding Mortal Kombat 2 to her long list of voice overs. Also, reports of a new Mortal Kombat in the works isn’t exactly surprising, given that Kiefer Sutherland recently outed that he did some voice over work for it a few months ago.

Hopefully, this isn’t just a case of Ed Boon trolling his fans, which he is infamously known for throughout the MK community.

What characters and features would you like to see in a new Mortal Kombat game?

New Killzone: Shadow Fall DLC Map Teased, New Weapon Tweaks and Warzones Available

The next free Killzone: Shadow Fall multiplayer map gets its very first teaser.

Game Director Steven ter Heide Tweeted early yesterday the very first image for a new upcoming Shadow Fall map, which you can view below.

BmzIxLLCcAAsqbQ

The location appears to be on Planet Helghan, so whether or not this is an updated map from the previous game is yet to be revealed, though it does seem to resemble a few maps from Killzone 2. Again, the map will be free to download when it launches.

Additionally, the team also announced some new changes to Warzone, as well as a couple of new hot fixes. Warzone is getting an additional rotation due to fan feedback.

“With this first phase we are introducing a new official Warzone, which will feature fan favourite Warzones rotating on a regular basis,” writes the studio. “We will be reducing the number of official Warzones to 24 Player Warzone, 24 Player Team Deathmatch, and the rotating Warzone. This week, it is 24 Player Domination.”

This also allowed the team to make tweaks to what players see in the available rooms, making it easier to join games that suit what they may want to play. Weapons have also been altered due to feedback. Check out the notes below.

VC30 Sickle

  • Increase spread of pellets by 15%
  • Reduced damage ranges by 50%

StA101 Kameraad

  • Reduced standing and crouched hip fire spread by 10%
  • Reduced maximum moving hip fire spread by 45%

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Gets 8 Pretty New Screens

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is certainly a step or two above previous titles in the series with regards to graphical capabilities.

Though said to be running on a new engine, it remains to be seen to what extent. Still, the visual improvements are apparent and are more than welcome.

You can see for yourself in the debut trailer, as well as in the eight new screens below, courtesy of GameInformer’s June issue.

What do you think? Are the graphical improvements enough?

Titanfall Expedition DLC Maps Get New Screens, Xbox 360 Update Rolling Out

Titanfall Expedition DLC is coming this May to Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC users, offering three brand new multiplayer locations where Pilots and Titans will fight it out.

It will be available for $9.99 as a standalone purchase, or included in the $24.99 Season Pass.

Showing off the three new maps; War Games, Swampland, and Runoff, developer Respawn Entertainment has posted a handful of new images on their official website. You can take a look below.

So far, we’ve learned all about War Games and Runoff, but have yet to get the details on Swamplands. Stay tuned for updates.

In related news, Respawn has indicated that a new update for the Xbox 360 version of the game is now live and that it’s recommended you restart your game in order to install it. The studio added that “The patch can take up to 4 hours to roll out on the servers, so it will take longer for some 360 users to get the update.”

We’re told the patch notes will be up as soon as they become available.

Update

Respawn has clarified that today’s Titanfall Xbox 360 has “changed the Gooser challenge to 5 kills rather than 50.”

Fan-Made, Bungie-Approved Destiny Info Vid Breaks Down All Game Modes in “The Director”

There’s a lot out there on Bungie’s highly anticipated shared-world shooter, Destiny, and things can get a bit confusing when you’re talking about a game as massive and complex as this.

Helping you understand exactly what there is to do in Bungie’s ‘brave new word’, Destiny fan and YouTube personality “MoreConsole” constructed an impressive break down of all the game modes that can be accessed through “The Director”, Destiny’s central hub for mission and social management.

According to his video, which you can catch above, the following modes will be available to your Guardian:

  • Patrol – Free Roam
  • Campaign – Story
  • Strikes – Co-Op
  • Raids – Hardcore Co-Op
  • Skirmishes – PvP
  • Faction Missions – Faction-Specific Quests

Though the guide itself is unofficial, fan-made work, Bungie did share it through their official channels indicating some form of legitimacy. We sure found it informative and think you will too.

Also shared through official channels, Bungie took note of this fan-made Strike gameplay analysis that does a fantastic job of breaking down what’s new in Destiny’ most recent gameplay trailer.

Bungie has confirmed that we’ll be learning more about Destiny’s story details, competitive multiplayer, and beta news at E3 2014, so be sure to keep your eyes open.

Destiny launches on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360 September 9.

New Destiny Dev Diary is All About Weapons, Armor, and Loot

Bungie community manager David “DeeJ” Dague describes the many rewards you and your Guardian will reap during your adventures in the studio’s shared-world shooter, Destiny.

Dague says, “The more you defeat your enemies and complete your missions, you’re going to earn rewards that will let you upgrade your Guardian in every conceivable way.”

Earlier, investment lead Tyson Green explained that loot becomes an important aspect in Destiny’s end game adventures, likening it to Blizzard’s Diablo games. He said that it’s all about “moving onto the more horizontal growth – trying new abilities and builds and weapons, with the same element of growing more powerful as a character so I can do the harder activities that exist in the world.”

Watch the video above to get more details from Dague and design lead Lars Bakken about some of the armor and weapons in Destiny, launching this September 9.

Sledgehammer Games’ Canceled Third-Person Call of Duty Had ‘Dead Space Moments’

Sledgehammer Game’s wasn’t always destined to join the ranks of Call of Duty studios Infinity Ward and Treyarch to take a stab at their own vision of the mega-popular first-person shooter.

Instead, co-founders Glen Schofield and Michael Condrey signed up with publisher Activision, coming straight out of their work on the Dead Space series with Visceral Games, to develop a third-person spin off project. Concerned over franchise fatigue, Sledgehammer believed it to be the best course of action.

“Our perspective on this was that we were given a great opportunity to bring Call of Duty to a new genre,” Schofield told GameInformer. “We had a lot of experience and a team built to deliver quality like we did with previous games.

“We had spent six or eight months on it, and were really getting into the story,” Schofield continued. “We had some really cool mechanics. We had a big moment that I would love to get into a game someday, but it’s not something we could do in first-person.”

The project was set in the Vietnam war, according to Schofield, a subject the studio spent some time on researching. “Everyone thought that war was in Vietnam, right? It was Cambodia and Laos, too. We did a lot of research on that war, a hidden war, and there were thousands of miles of underground tunnels. We had the tunnels, and we were definitely going for some Dead Space moments. It was going to be a fresh take on war, that’s for sure.”

Over half a year into the project, with 15 minutes of playable content, the road ahead turned suddenly when Schofield and Condrey were asked to assist in the development of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 after the departure of Infinity Ward co-founders Jason West and Vince Zampella.

“One day, a bunch of execs come up and say, ‘Hey, great job on this. How would you like to work on Modern Warfare 3?'” Scofield said. “For the first game to come out of this studio, it’s like, “Oh my god…'”

The offer wasn’t an easy one to take up, however. Scrapping months of hard work proved a tough choice for the studio.

“From day one, we started Sledgehammer Games to deliver our game,” Condrey explained. “Not to deliver somebody else’s game or co-develop. We had a set vision for what we wanted Sledgehammer Games to become, and neither Glen nor I were going to make that decision on our own. We wanted it to be an all-in studio decision. The first reaction was, ‘Wow…we have our game here. We have this game. Are we willing to give up our pursuit of that to join with another studio?”

“It took a few days for the whole studio to come together and be ready to commit,” Condrey continued. “Once that happened, we were off like race horses. It was part of our culture that we were all gonna make that decision together. We would have loved to make that [third-person] game. It was in a space that we enjoyed, but how does anything compare to the first-person blockbuster release of 2011?”

Impressed with Sledgehammer’s work that eventually enabled Modern Warfare 3 to reach its targeted Fall 2011 launch, Activision then asked the studio if it felt like taking on its very own full-fledged Call of Duty title.

February of this year, Activision announced Sledgehammer Games as its third Call of Duty-dedicated studio, giving the franchise the opportunity to revolve around a three-year development cycle.

Having welcomed the idea with open arms, Sledgehammer Games released the first trailer of their new Call of Duty project, Advanced Warfare, on May 1 and are on course to launch it this November 4.

Still, one has to wonder, how would Call of Duty’s audience reacted to a third-person Call of Duty title set in the Vietnam War with ‘Dead Space moments’. Would you play it?
