NBA 2K26 New Update 1.011 Dribbles Out on November 21

While we already received a patch for NBA 2K26 that helped prep the game for Season 3, which kicks off next week, Visual Concepts has released NBA 2K26 update 1.011 (complete version 1.011.000) today.

Based on our findings, this patch is only available on current-gen platforms, though that could change, since this could also mean certification for the last-gen patch hasn’t pushed through yet.

Visual Concepts hasn’t revealed any changelog for todays patch yet, though that might change within the day. For now, we’ve outlined the issues the development team is looking into.

The known issue that’s confirmed to be fixed in the next update (meaming this one) mentions:

“VC earnings for Pro-Am 3v3 games were previously being calculated as if they were Pro-Am 5v5 games, and this has now been corrected. No changes have been made to VC earned in Pro-Am 5v5 or any other game modes.

Separately, we have identified a visual issue in The REC where the post-game Recap may display a lower VC total than expected. This only affects the VC amount displayed. The correct amount is still being added to your account. You can confirm this by checking your VC balance before and after completing a game in The REC. This visual issue will be resolved in an upcoming update.”

There’s also a VC reward bug, and Visual Concepts commented, “This only affects the VC amount displayed. The correct amount is still being added to your account. No word if we’re getting another update when Season 3 kicks off on November 28, at 8 AM PT / 11 AM ET / 4 PM GMT. If we get any proper pathc notes from the devs, we’ll update the article.

Dying Light: The Beast New Update 1.003.001 Disables PUBG Event

Techland has released Dying Light: The Bease update 1.003.001 on all platforms on November 21, and it is a minor patch that aims to remove rather than add anything.

About three weeks ago, Techland ushered in a collaboration event with PUBG that saw the battle royale title crossover into Dying Light: The Beast. That event has ended, which has necessitated this new patch roll out.

According to Techland, “We’ve deployed a hotfix to disable the PUBG Mobile Event as the collaboration has now ended. Thank you for participating!”

The event, which kicked off on October 31, had the following description:

“Your rewards for completing this new quest will be a collection of PUBG Mobile-themed items. Whack zombies with the series’ iconic Killing Pan, hit a homerun with the Battle Royale Bat, or use both to leave the infected with some serious headaches, thanks to their increased skull damage. Additionally grab the new Marked Man outfit and wear the individual Gear Items to earn more XP, deal more headshot damage and make bullets even more devastating with increased firearm damage. And that’s still not all! Affix the Battleground Keychain charm to your trusty weapon to increase your chances of the three D’s: decapitating, dismembering or destroying enemy limbs.”

No word yet on whether Techland plans to enable the rewards to be attained via other methods. There’s also no mention if there are any gameplay changes or bug fixes implemented, but it seems there’s none at all. If we find anything else, we’ll update the article.

It’s not just The Beast that got a new event recently, as Dying Light 2 recently got a Halloween event that’s still on-going now.

Lost Soul Aside New Update 1.101 Delivers Combat, Performance Improvements

Following the release of the new Challenge Mode addition to Lost Soul Aside a few days ago, Ultizero has deployed a new patch for the game this November 21, and this one focuses on optimization improvements on PS5 and PC.

Players will see this download appear as Lost Soul Aside update 1.101 (complete version 1.101.000), and this small file houses improvements to the Greatsword, performance and stability improvements.

Here is the complete list of changes made today per the developers.

PS5 & PC – Optimizations

  • Greatsword Combat Enhancements

    Added new special attack combo transitions following “Spinning Thrust” and “Sword Glide” for a smoother combat experience.

  • Improved Interaction Precision

    Reduced the interaction distance for the Next Wave mechanism in Surge of Voidrax, preventing accidental activations.

  • Audio Improvements

    • Optimized background music performance after victories in Chapter 5: Clash of Fates.

    • Updated and enhanced monster hit sound effects for better combat feedback.

PS5 & PC – Bug Fixes

  • Controller Responsiveness Fix

    Resolved an issue in Surge of Voidrax where confirm inputs could become unresponsive after controller disconnect/reconnect on the reward screen, or after returning to the game from a minimized state on PC.

  • Preparation Screen Issue

    Fixed a bug where rapidly pressing Confirm while entering Liana’s Preparation interface could cause monsters to appear abnormally on the Preparation screen.

  • Combat Skill Fix

    Addressed an issue where Whirlwind Slash could not be executed with the Greatsword on certain non-slide surfaces while gliding.

  • Collision Issue Correction

    Fixed a missing ground collision in the Fourtides Coliseum area of Chapter 4: Frosthold Borderland.

  • Monster Audio Fix

    Corrected an issue where some monster sound effects did not attenuate properly with distance.

PC – Bug Fixes

  • Save File Load Issue

    Fixed a problem where saving after claiming Surge of Voidrax gifts in story mode could cause certain save files to fail when loading.

  • Challenge Mode Record Issue

    Resolved an issue where the Maximum Wave record in the Surge of Voidrax New Challenge screen could be lost after restarting the game.

  • Camera Rotation Bug

    Fixed an issue in Chapter 2: Buckhorn Palace where, after the Buckhorn Spirit-Dragon battle, the camera may fail to rotate during Gethya’s dialogue when using keyboard and mouse controls.

Borderlands 4 New Update 1.010 Brings Bounty Pack 1 and Community-Requested Features

Gearbox Software has released a new Borderlands 4 update, and this ushers in quality-of-life improvements, community-requested features, and more.

Outside of the changes, this also tows in the Bounty Pack 1: How Rush Saved Mercenary Day free for all base game owners.

Console gamers should see the download appear as Borderlands 4 update 1.010 (complete version 1.010.000), and this should be a significant download across all platforms.

Bounty Pack 1 Contents

In How Rush Saved Mercenary Day, Rush’s hopes for holiday merriment stand in direct opposition to the miserly Minister Screw, one of the Timekeeper’s underlings charged with keeping celebrations as bland and homogenous as possible. Across a series of all-new missions, players will show Screw the true meaning of Mercenary Day by any means necessary (and maybe score some new Legendary loot in the process).

Bounty Pack 1 includes a Vault Card with new rewards that players will earn through gameplay, with 24 cosmetic items to unlock and four pieces of rerollable gear. The rerollable gear can be earned as many times as players like, so it can be an opportunity to obtain a roll with stats that perfectly suit a specific build.

Bounty Pack 1 is being granted to all players via the November 20 Update. Once you’ve updated, find and interact with the gift-wrapped present (marked on your map as a new mission) in any major hub, which will initiate the mission to assist Rush.

Borderlands 4 Update 1.010 Community-Requested Changes and Fixes

Notable Changes

We wanted to pull these out specifically as they have been heavily mentioned in the community. 

  • Updated the Weekly Wildcard Missions to set additional start points in missions
  • Dev Note: This feature will allow future Weekly Wildcard Missions to jump straight to the meat of a mission.
  • Class Mods have been adjusted to drop more for your current character
  • Converted the Phosphene weapon challenge from character-based to profile-wide progression
    • Dev Note: This long-term grind is aimed at our most dedicated community members who invest the most time in the game. Still, we agree that completing this collection is more a reflection of your dedication to the game and not to a specific Vault Hunter. This is the first example of allowing more progression to be shared between all characters on your account.
  • Updated the loot feed to display total current currency after spending or receiving money
  • Reduced the likelihood of unintended movements or knockbacks while reviving a teammate
    • Dev Note: When reviving another player, the reviving player is temporarily given more mass, making enemy attacks less likely to bounce you away from your partner.
  • Added a new Legendary Loot Indicator to the combat radar for easier identification of high-rarity drops

Gameplay & Mission Progression

  • Addressed an issue that could cause the loss of SDU Tokens or Specialization points; this also returns missing tokens and points to those impacted
  • Resolved an interaction where players could not repurchase a boss encounter after all party members were defeated and respawned in multiplayer
  • Slide-attacking lootable objects will now open or break them consistently
  • Resolved progression blockers for more intuitive gameplay during Faction SurvivalistWayward GunAnother Day, Another Universe, the Badass Phalanx bounty, and the Black Market Tutorial
  • Corrected behavior where mission items could disappear after replaying and exiting a mission, preventing completion
  • Prevented rare instances of some enemies turning into NPCs and becoming unkillable
  • Adjusted tracking on some challenges and achievements to award progress as intended
  • Dev Note: The Professional now only awards progress for designated challenge conditions, while Private Reserve and What Have We Here? will progress correctly when opening chests with melee attacks. The Arena Grande achievement should consistently unlock in multiplayer.
  • Mort will revive players more consistently during Thresher Rancher
  • Resolved a condition where vehicles could be instantly destroyed if summoned immediately after using a Repkit with the Splat trait
  • Adjusted object placement and pathing across multiple missions, ensuring proper enemy spawns, interactions, Echolocation, and waypoint alignment
  • Synchronized some mismatched animations and behaviors in multiplayer
  • Resolved a reported issue where players could become briefly suspended in midair when exiting mission replay while jumping or swimming
  • Addressed a bug causing the Chopper vehicles to remain in a falling state after performing a vertical jump or powerslide
  • Prevented vehicle summoning in restricted indoor areas such as the Umbral Foundry Fortress
  • Removed the penalty during Scoundrel Roundup: Kilo if the panel is shot twice
  • Updated Mimicron’s combat behavior so it can no longer be stun-locked by singularity effects in the Tipping Point Bunker

    • Dev Note: Visual inconsistencies with Arjay’s wings might appear as a result of this change, but will not impact gameplay.
  • Adjusted arena boundaries so Locust’s gas canisters now spawn correctly within the arena during the Idolator Sol encounter in Fortress Indomita

Vault Hunters

Amon, the Forgeknight

  • Updated Forgeknight Forgedrone challenge so it unlocks properly upon meeting completion requirements
  • Corrected skill tree investment functionality to prevent Forgeknight from applying skill points out of order
  • Updated weapon input handling so Forgeknight can reliably swap weapons after using the whip attack

Rafa, the Exo-Soldier

  • Exo-Soldier’s Soltado Kill Skill passive has been adjusted to function properly with two skill points
  • Improved PROJECT: Raiju capstone behavior so APOPHIS Lance consistently damages enemies during extended uptime
  • Adjusted Booming Business passive’s functionality to prevent grenade spawns when the passive skill exceeds its intended level cap
  • Updated the Temerario passive skill so it provides the intended gun damage bonus rather than a general damage increase

Vex, the Siren

  • Updated challenge tracking so the Target Prescience passive only progresses when damaging valid targets

Harlowe, the Gravitar

  • Ensured that QED passive skill would remain functional in multiplayer
  • Updated Gravitar’s Zero-Point Action Skill so it now properly enters cooldown when used on enemies immune to Stasis. Previously, using the skill on a Stasis-immune target after affecting a normal enemy could cause it to remain active instead of triggering cooldown

All Vault Hunters

  • Adjusted critical hit calculations so gun and enhancement damage now applies correctly to all valid hit regions
  • Adjusted Cryo resistance scaling so enemy resistances now correctly match each player’s level in multiplayer sessions
  • Prevented Action Skills from activating during the first loading screen before entering active gameplay
  • Updated kill volume logic to ensure Vault Hunters cannot cheat death while in FFYL and healing with the Legendary Shield Guardian Angel
  • Ensured sniper ammo displays full capacity when creating a level 30 Vault Hunter

Gear and Rewards

  • Adjusted melee damage on Bayonet weapons so that melee damage increases with bayonet parts
  • Updated beam weapon behavior so they will deal proper damage when thrown
  • Addressed an interaction allowing players to infinitely scale the splash radius of homing sticky projectiles when using Torgue Legendary Pistol Queen’s Rest with certain builds and firmware combinations
  • Updated Skully grenade to adjust projectile damage for consistent output
  • Corrected boss health bar updates so sustained heavy Ordnance damage with Amon now displays correctly
  • Updated Torgue Heavy Weapon Ravenfire so it now correctly applies elemental damage when equipped with elemental parts
  • Adjusted Maliwan Heavy Weapon behavior so projectiles created from a hit don’t detonate immediately after spawning
  • Corrected the explosion delay of Fuel Rod Discharge to match its description of 3 seconds when used on Ripper shotguns
  • Adjusted Rolling Thunder underbarrel grenades on Torgue shotguns to behave predictably on vertical surfaces instead of ricocheting excessively
  • Prevented bosses from floating when Exo-Soldier’s Booming Business passive skill was triggered with Order Legendary Grenade Skully
  • Addressed a condition where the Vladof Legendary Shield Heavyweight could lose functionality after activating Forgeknight Onslaughter skill
  • Adjusted projectile interaction during the fight with Vile Ripper so players can now destroy the homing “Unstable Ore” projectiles
  • Updated collision behavior so Jakobs Throwing Knife grenades correctly impact the orb surrounding Vile Ordonite of Corrupted enemies
  • Adjusted some gear that was behaving inconsistently in multiplayer, such as: the bounce-back force of The Order Legendary pistol Noisy Cricket, reload animation timing for the Jakobs shotgun Hot Slugger, and misaligned accuracy of the Daedalus pistol Bonn-91
  • Standardized some instances of Firmware 3-piece bonus cooldowns to appear consistently. Visual cooldowns have been added for Oscar Mike, Ahoy, and Daed-dy O’
  • Drops are no longer kept in the air when lowering the platform in All Charged Up
  • Restored functionality allowing players to loot and preview weapons from red chests after completing the Blacklime Bunker

  • Updated level geometry and collision across multiple regions to prevent players from becoming stuck, falling out of bounds, or being blocked by invisible surfaces
  • Adjusted grappling points and traversal paths in multiple missions to prevent players from chaining grapples into unintended areas or losing functionality
  • Addressed misplaced or inaccessible loot containers, including strongboxes and vending-area chests in The Wireworks and Windspear
  • Addressed inaccurate rendering of water in some locations
  • Corrected lingering slide smoke effects that could appear when moving or jumping after performing a slide
  • Turned off the mining laser after shutting down the second Eridium generator in Terminus Range
  • Corrected visual stretching on character and NPC cloth when adjusting the FOV while the game is paused
  • Updated Dark Subject mission so Tim’s weapon now properly disappears with his model during the “Kill Tim”
  • Addressed multiple reported animation inconsistencies including gear, NPCs, hand stuttering, root-lock issues, and visual glitches during combat actions. These improvements remove visible sliding or snapping during melee or grapple sequences
  • Improved environmental synchronization in multiplayer

  • Repaired a purple light texture that appeared after interacting with the Auger Shrine in Terminus Range

  • Faded the red light trails from Atlas underbarrel tracking Darts and Balls on Jakobs pistols
  • Tuned brightness of target marker visuals when using the Ripper Sniper Rifle tracking mode against certain bosses
  • Corrected firing animations for Vladof submachine guns with the Extra Barrel underbarrel and Torgue shotguns with Daedalus ammo switcher
  • Adjusted Order grenade to no longer slide across the ground when dropped from the inventory
  • Adjusted animation blending for Daedalus shotguns using Maliwan Element Switcher to eliminate abrupt snapping and to prevent the secondary magazine from appearing loaded when using the primary firing mode

Audio

  • Resolved a reported issue where the crowd could continue to make sounds after they stopped spawning during the Null and Void mission
  • Prevented host players from temporarily losing audio if another player joined their session while they were in an ECHO menu in multiplayer
  • Addressed missing or incomplete sound effects when looting in multiplayer sessions
  • Made the really loud bird in Grasslands quieter
  • Additional audio balance adjustments

Player Experience

  • Improvements to stability and optimization
    • Dev Note: We are continuing to investigate and will make further improvements to stability and performance.
  • Updated PS5 controller LEDs to change color based on the player’s active elemental type
  • Addressed unintended adaptive trigger feedback that occurred with Ripper weapons while reloading or firing without ammo

Gearbox has also talked about how it will handle updates moving forward. Players can expect minor and major updates for Borderlands 4, which is more or less what we see from all online games these days.

“Minor Updates” will take care of any smaller, more pressing issues outside of the planned update schedule (primarily balance changes, if needed). They also refresh the three types of Weekly Activities: the Weekly Big Encore Boss, Weekly Wildcard Mission, and Maurice’s Black Market Vending Machine location. Minor Updates are scheduled weekly on Thursdays.

“Major Updates” deliver larger-scale changes, including new content, more sweeping balance adjustments, performance improvements, and the addressing of any reported issues. Major Updates are less common, and are planned to deploy about a month apart.

REANIMAL Launches February 2026; Demo Now Live on PS5, Xbox Series

Tarsier Studio, the creators of Little Nightmares I & II, have officially announced that their next horror game, REANIMAL, will be released on February 13, 2026. It’ll arrive on all platforms the same day, with pre-orders now available on some platforms.

That’s not all, though, as there’s a playable demo available right now on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, with a Switch 2 arriving at a later date.

Survive Together. Go Through Hell Together

If you were a big fan of Little Nightmares I and II, then trust me, you aren’t going to want to miss out on this one, given that it’s by the very same studio that created those. Not only that, but if you thought the studio pushed the boundaries of horror under a T rating, imagine what they can do now they they’re making an M-rated game under REANIMAL. Yeah, we’re expecting some pretty terrifying and gruesome moments, but luckily, you won’t have to go it alone, as REANIMAL is fully playable in coop.

A release date isn’t the only news we have for you today either, as a playable demo (which was already on PC) is now live for both PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series consoles. Links below:

Slim Shady Is Bringing Mom’s Spaghetti to Hitman as the Newest Elusive Target

HITMAN World of Assassination‘s newest elusive target has been announced, and it’s quite possibly the game’s most insane collaboration yet. Rap icon Eminem is coming to the Hitman universe, and he’s enlisting the help of Agent 47.

The target? Well, that’s the fun part, as not only will Eminem be himself in this upcoming collaboration, but his alter ego, Slim Shady, is also making an appearance.

He’ll be the elusive target we’ll have to hunt down, and based on the trailer, things are going to get pretty messy.

Will the Real Slim Shady, Please Stand Up?

“I’ve been trying to put Slim to rest, but he keeps coming back. So this time, I’m calling in a professional to get the job done once and for all. We’ve got some surprises in store for everyone…it’s a battle for the ages,” shared Eminem.

I can’t say I was ever expecting to see this happen in the world of HITMAN, but you know what, I’m all for it!

“When we first set out to build the World of Assassination, collaborations on this scale weren’t even part of our dreams. Today, working with one of the most iconic artists in history shows how far HITMAN has grown, and how far we want to take it. This collaboration with Eminem is something truly special and unique, which I’m sure will delight both our players and Eminem’s fanbase,” Hakan Abrak, CEO at IO Interactive, said in the press release.

Here’s a breakdown of everything that was announced today:

Eminem vs Slim Shady – Playable for free starting December 1st

Rap icon Eminem joins the World of Assassination both as himself and his twisted alter ego, Slim Shady. In his latest album, “The Death of Slim Shady” the rapper attempted to put his other self away, but now Eminem recruits the legendary assassin Agent 47 to put his past away permanently. In a surreal new mission crafted by Eminem in collaboration with IOI and creative director/producer Paul Rosenberg, the level is packed with dreamlike twists that mirror Slim Shady’s unhinged reality. Operatives find themselves in a medical facility in Hokkaido that has been twisted into the Popsomp Hills Asylum. Agent 47 will have to track Slim Shady across multiple areas, such as his broadcasting studio, to take him out without being detected. There are abundant Eminem references in the mission from throughout the rapper’s discography, such as a poisoned plate of the iconic Mom’s Spaghetti and a performance of “Houdini”. 

The Season of Eminem VS Slim Shady – Live Updates, Free for HITMAN WOA Players 

A new roadmap will start with the Season of Eminem VS Slim Shady set to bring new content to players, in addition to the new Elusive Target. Players will be able to face two new challenges, two new Featured Contracts batches, as well as three returning Elusive Targets, including The Splitter featuring Jean-Claude Van Damme, and two returning events: Holiday Hoarders and Hokkaido Snow Festival. Two new Twitch Drops will be available to redeem, with the Bomb-Ass Dynamite, and the Solstice Suit, which can be earned by watching thirty minutes of HITMAN World of Assassination on Twitch during specific time periods. 

HITMAN WOA coming to New Platforms 

Alongside the new Elusive Target, IO Interactive announced today that HITMAN World of Assassination will be launching on the ROG XBOX Ally X and ROG XBOX Ally on December 1st. The new Elusive Target mission featuring Eminem vs. Slim Shady will be playable day one on these new devices. The game will also be an Xbox Play Anywhere title, allowing players to enjoy seamless play across Xbox consoles and Microsoft PC with shared progress and achievements.

Battlefield 6 Had Biggest Launch Month in Terms of Revenue of Any Game in Past 3 Years

While publisher Electronic Arts has already touted Battlefield 6’s success, it seems it’s far more successful than initially believed. Sure, it sold millions at launch, but the extent of its reach has surprised even us.

According to one analyst firm, Battlefield 6 has now become one of the biggest games when it comes to launch revenue, and that even factors in mega-franchise Call of Duty!

To say Battlefield 6 was a massive success for EA seems like an understatement when you factor in these new data findings.

Battlefield 6 Finds Sales Success on All Platforms

In a recent report by marketing firm Circana, Senior Director Mat Piscatella shared some interesting facts about October’s video game sales data. Piscatella notes that Battlefield 6 debuted as the best-selling game of 2025 year-to-date, and is currently the best-selling game of the year on both Xbox and PC aggregated storefront charts. It’s in second place on PlayStation, bested by NBA 2K26.

If that wasn’t impressive enough, Battlefield 6 produced the highest single month US physical and digital full game tracked dollar sales total in the last three years (!). The last title to generate a larger full game tracked dollar sales total in a single month? It was Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 when it released in October 2022.

Battlefield 6 is officially the best-selling game in the franchise’s launch history, with its October 2025 sales volume eclipsing the lifetime sales total of the previous record holder, which was Battlefield 1.

Hopefully, EA releases official sales numbers before the year is over or in the company’s fiscal report. With this insane launch performance, we’re hoping the Battlefield Studios roster can sustain the momentum. So far, the game is off to a stellar start with the first season of the game offering a ton more content for free, and proves that the live-service misstep with Battlefield 2042. Speaking of which, the mid-season refresh, California Resistance update, was released this week, adding a new map, weapons and more.

While the game’s sales are already amazing, that number could pile up even more with Black Friday looming over the horizon and the holiday gift-giving season. For its part, EA is pushing for it, as it has announced a free multiplayer trial kicking off next week on all platforms.

One thing the game is suffering from, which we’re hoping gets resolved soon, is the problem with bots and matchmaking. For the first time, someone at DICE acknowledged that there are issues with it, which we’re hoping will lead to a solution soon.

It’s also been labeled by many reviewers as one of the best AIOs you can get, granted that your PC case can fit it, as it’s pretty massive. But if you can, this is quite the killer deal here.

Steam Machine Will Cost “Like a PC, Not a Console,” Confirms Valve

Valve’s new Steam Machine was announced together with a new controller and VR headset last week. Even though it looks a lot like a console, the company says its price will be closer to that of a PC.

This information comes from a Valve spokesperson, which suggests we shouldn’t expect a console-style price similar to the PS5, Xbox or the Nintendo Switch 2.

According to Linus Sebastian from Linus Tech Tips, who spoke with a Valve representative at a recent event, Valve doesn’t plan to lower the Steam Machine’s price by covering part of the production costs itself.

“Valve wasn’t able to give any specific numbers due to rapidly evolving market conditions,” Sebastian explained. “But they will obviously have it nailed down when the Steam Machine launches in Q1 2026, alongside the new Steam Controller.”

He added, “They did give me one hint, though. They said that while they expect it to be very competitively priced for a PC, it will still be priced like a PC rather than like a console, where games help subsidize the cost of the hardware.”

He further explained, “They wouldn’t say why, but if I had to guess, I’d say it’s partly to avoid cutting into the profit margins of their potential partners for Steam games and software. It’s also because they recognize that the Steam Machine is a full-fledged PC that can be used just like any other computer.”

That means large corporate orders — for example, 10,000 units — wouldn’t guarantee game sales, so Valve needs to keep its main business sustainable.

The Steam Machine is a cube-shaped device about 15 centimeters tall that lets users play PC games on their TV. For now, Valve seems unwilling to make it a low-cost system.

The company says it will support 4K gaming at 60fps with AMD hardware and use FSR technology. It should also work well for cloud gaming and connect smoothly with other devices, such as the Steam Deck.

In other Steam news, about 20% of this year’s new releases on the platform have disclosed the use of generative AI, an 800% increase compared to 2024.

Battlefield 6 Announces REDSEC Elite Series, a New Competitive Showcase Featuring a $1 Million Prize Pool

The REDSEC battle royale mode from Battlefield 6 will host its first official esports competition — the REDSEC Elite Series — launching on December 10 with a total prize pool of $1 million.

The competition will have two divisions: the Elite Series, designed for top competitive teams, and the Open Series, open to players of all skill levels. Both tournaments will support cross-platform and cross-input play, allowing participants to use either controllers or keyboard and mouse on console or PC.

Battlefield REDSEC Elite Series Announces $1 Million Prize

The Elite Series will feature 50 captains per region, each leading a squad of four players, for a total of 600 competitors across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC regions. Teams will compete in six matches of REDSEC Battle Royale per stage.

This process will repeat across three qualifying days, with teams earning Elite Series Points. The top 25 teams from each region will advance to the regional finals.

All matches will be held online and streamed by the players themselves, while the official Battlefield studios will broadcast the finals. The prize distribution is as follows:

  • Americas: $50,000 per qualifying day + $500,000 for the Finals Gauntlet
  • APAC and EMEA: $20,000 per qualifying day + $285,000 for the Finals Gauntlet

Elite Series Season 1 Schedule:

  • Match Day #1 – Wednesday, December 10, 2025
  • Match Day #2 – Thursday, December 11, 2025
  • Match Day #3 – Tuesday, December 16, 2025
  • Season Finals – Thursday, December 18, 2025

At the same time, the Open Series will expand competitive access. Players can register their squads on Repeat.gg and access match codes directly through the app on game day. Rankings will be determined by the total of each team’s 10 best Battle Royale and 10 best Gauntlet matches across the three match days.

The top 250 teams from each region will qualify for the season finals, and the top eight will automatically move up to the next Elite Series edition. The Open Series will feature a total prize pool of $30,000, equally divided between the Americas, EMEA, and APAC regions.

Black Ops 7 Endgame Unlocks for Everyone This Friday

Originally part of completing the main campaign of the game, Treyarch has announced that they will be unlocking the Endgame mode for Black Ops 7 for all players this Friday. That means that you won’t need to play through the campaign to enjoy this 32-player PvE mode!

If you already have access to the mode, you’ll receive exclusive rewards this Friday.

Call of Duty Black Ops 7 32-Player Endgame Will Be Unlocked for Everyone, Regardless of Whether You Finished the Campaign.

As announced on X (formerly Twitter), Endgame is getting unlocked for all Black Ops 7 players this Friday, even if you didn’t play or finish the campaign mode. Considering the scope of the mode and how a good chunk of the playerbase skips out on campaign in favor of multiplayer, this is fantastic news for everyone. Feelings for the Black Ops 7 campaign aside (which many have been rather vocal about, and not in a good way), the Endgame, which features 32 players in squads of four, has been one of the growing highlights of Black Ops 7.

I know I’ve been having fun with it, though it lacks the PvP aspect that the core multiplayer and other extraction-like experiences offer.

For those wondering, here’s a little bit about Endgame in Black Ops 7:

“Team up with other players to complete objectives, increase your power, earn unique Weapon Camos, and take on new threats across the entirety of Avalon. Keep pushing into escalating zones of difficulty and exfil safely to maintain your Combat Rating and live another day.”

For those who have already completed the campaign mode to unlock Endgame, you won’t be left out of the good news, as Treyarch is awarding everyone who has done so with the following items:

Mafia: The Old Country Free Ride Update Pushed Out via Patch 1.007

The promised free roam update for Mafia: The Old Country is finally here and Hangar 13 has pulled out all the stops to make it a beefy content drop. Called the Free Ride Update, console gamers will see this download as Mafia: The Old Country update 1.007 (complete version 1.007.000), and this is a hefty download.

There’s a lot to take in, as aside from the free ride feature, this title update also adds new weapons, charms, cars, and outfits as well. Players can also expect a new difficulty option, a new Cinema Siciliano mode and more.

Mafia: The Old Country Free Ride Content Explanation

Free Ride Mode

Free Ride offers new ways to experience Mafia: The Old Country’s vision of 1900s Sicily, letting you explore the environment at your own pace and take on a series of new Challenges. This mode is focused primarily on new gameplay content and does not have any bearing on the narrative aspects of Enzo’s journey.

That said, Free Ride contains a variety of Challenges that are unlocked based on your main story Chapter completion. You can jump between the campaign and Free Ride via the pause and main menus as you make your way through the story, or you can wait until you’ve finished every Chapter so you can embark into Free Ride with all starting Challenges available; the choice is yours.

Each Challenge can be completed at three increasing reward tiers, netting you increasing amounts of Dinari (the in-game currency that’s earned via gameplay) to spend at Pasquale’s store. New items unlock in the store as you progress through Challenges, which unlock in sequence; play them all to get the best rewards.

Challenges come in two main varieties, racing and combat, each with their own sub-categories:

Car & Horse Races

Seek out Pasquale to initiate car races, or find Gaspare if you’d rather race on horseback:

Circuit Race (3 Challenges): Get behind the wheel of your fastest car and complete a set number of laps around the track ahead of competing drivers.

Road Sprint (3 Challenges): Race against multiple opponents across the Valle Dorata in these challenging point-to-point races.

Time Trial (6 Challenges): Try to beat the clock and your previous bests as you barrel through these courses without opponents getting in your way. Checkpoint Time Trials take place across a set path, while Freeform Time Trials challenge you to find the fastest possible route between two points.

Horse Race (3 Challenges): Gallop faster than the opposing riders in these intense lap races that require smart use of your spurs.

Combat Challenges

Speak with Valerio to take on these combat-focused Challenges:

Standoff (5 Challenges): Enzo must survive multiple waves of hostile guards, bandits, and soldatos in the horde mode gauntlets of timed Standoff Challenges. Killing your attackers and looting stopwatches off of high-value targets adds precious seconds to the clock as you fight off each wave of bloodthirsty enemies. You’ll have to manage your weapons, resources, and positioning in these increasingly desperate firefights.

Assassination (4 Challenges): Put your stealth skills to the test in timed Assassination Challenges. Sneak around a fixed location, execute your target, and try to escape with your life. Along the way, you have the option to crack any safes you find to improve your score.

Just like the Free Ride modes in previous Mafia games, Mafia: The Old Country’s Free Ride is hiding its share of secrets that are waiting to be discovered. Classic Difficulty

Classic Difficulty takes cues from the original Mafia and Mafia: Definitive Edition, making a return for those seeking a greater level of challenge in Mafia: The Old Country. Hone your skills and test your mastery of combat, stealth, and driving by playing the main campaign or Free Ride mode on Classic Difficulty, where enemies are deadlier, health regen is sparse, and unspent bullets are lost when you reload.

While exploring Sicily in Free Ride mode, you have the power to shift the weather via the interactable sundial found in the Vineyard and Enzo’s apartment. There are four options to choose from, giving the freedom to explore (and take gorgeous shots in Photo Mode) in whichever atmosphere you prefer:

  • Sunrise
  • Afternoon
  • Foggy
  • Ashfall

Given the scope of this patch, I wouldn’t be surprised if a follow-up hotfix is released to address any issues it introduces. If Hangar 13 releases one, expect it here on MP1st.

Baldur’s Gate 3 New Update 1.800.600 Released as Hotfix 35

Larian Studios might be done with content support for Baldur’s Gate 3, but the studio isn’t done improving the game experience. Today, the studio has released Baldur’s Gate 3 update 1.800.600, which is for Hotfix 35.

The majority of the improvements and fixes in the patch focus on stability and even Steam Deck improvements.

Crashes and Performance

  • Fixed a freeze on PS5 that could occur when pressing L2.
  • Fixed a crash on Xbox on the host’s end when a client leaves a multiplayer session.
  • Fixed a crash on Xbox on the client’s end when suspending the game while loading into a multiplayer session.
  • Fixed a crash on Steam Deck Native Build and Mac that was sometimes caused when saving the game after crafting.
  • Fixed a potential crash on Mac on the host’s end during cross-play.
  • Fixed some potential crashes on Steam Deck during cross-play.

Steam Deck

  • Bumped the default Upscaling Type from FSR 1 to FSR 2.2 to improve sharpness on Steam Deck Native.
  • Fixed a bug causing external controllers to stop working on Steam Deck Native when you use the ‘Switch to Desktop’ or ‘Return to Gaming Mode’ functions.
  • Improved loading times in some instances on the Steam Deck Native build. 
  • Fixed a crash on startup when the EN locale is missing on Steam Deck.
  • Improved VRAM consumption on Nvidia GPUs

In other Baldur’s Gate news, while Larian isn’t returning for Baldur’s Gate 4, license owner Wizards of the Coast is already planning the next iteration of the franchise. Whomever is tapped ot develop BG4, they’ll have some mighty big shoes to fill.

ARC Raiders New Update 1.3.0 Delivers a Small Surprise via Patch 1.000.010

As expected, Embark has released a new title update for ARC Raiders today, November 20, and this not only brings balance changes, but also a nice little surprise.

Console gamers will see the download appear as ARC Raiders update 1.000.010, and once applied, players will see the game version on the start screen as 1.3.0.

Venator

Dev note: The fully upgraded Venator has been over-performing recently, capable of outgunning full squads using close range weapons. We’re re-tuning the fire-rate gained from upgrades to pull down the pacing a bit, while still keeping its damage and accuracy intact. This should encourage players to take some more time with their shots rather than mag-dumping the first poor soul they encounter. The community also rightfully pointed out that the weight of the Venator was inconsistent with the weights of our other pistols, so we’ve corrected that as well.

  • Reduced Fire-rate gained from upgrades from 22/44/60% to 13/26/40%.
  • Increased Weight from 2 to 5.

Explosive Damage

Dev note: We noticed that explosives dealt damage to more parts at once than intended, allowing weapons like the Hullcracker to kill larger drones too quickly. We’ve adjusted explosive damage to make it more consistent across the board, and we’ve re-balanced the damage of the Hullcracker to account for that change. This will require Hullcracker shots to need a bit more precision while still dealing good damage to the targeted spot.

  • Rebalanced explosive damage against ARC for a more consistent experience.
  • Explosions on smaller enemies, e.g. Turrets are largely unaffected.
  • Explosions on larger sized enemies, e.g. Bastion will typically deal a bit less damage.

Content and Bug Fixes

ARC

  • Fixed a bug where ARC could call down reinforcements outside the map.
  • Shredder
    • Shredder will now detect and move more reliably towards Lure Grenades.
    • Shredder movement and handling updated: slightly reduced turn speed, improved braking, stiffer suspension, and more consistent reactions to impacts for steadier behavior in combat.
    • Improved Shredder navigation to prevent it from getting stuck on corners when moving toward the player.

Audio

  • Reduced volume attenuation for explosion tinnitus and concussion effects to improve clarity.

Maps

  • Barricades can no longer be placed overlapping your character, preventing clipping through walls and access to locked rooms.
  • The Dam Battlegrounds
    • Fixed an issue where players would get stuck in the Dam Control Tower elevator shaft.
    • Fixed an issue where players could access the locked room on the Control Tower without a key.
  • Spaceport
    • Added collision to the staircase walls and ceiling in the Hidden Bunker on Spaceport.
    • Fixed an issue where players could enter the wall near the Launch Tower ramp on Spaceport, preventing unfair ambushes.
  • Blue Gate
    • Fixed railing props on Blue Gate that mistakenly blocked bullets; shots now pass through as expected.
  • Stella Montis
    • Fixed a collision issue on Stella Montis near the Train Station that could cause players to fall through the terrain.
    • Fixed a location in Stella Montis Train Station where players could get stuck.
    • Removed two player spawns on Stella Montis that were too close to ARC spawn areas.
    • Fixed missing visibility collision on walls in the Business Center area of Stella Montis that allowed shots to pass through.

Miscellaneous

  • Fixed a crash when using Raider Voice (proximity chat) on PCs without AVX2 support.
  • Fixed a crash that could occur when surrendering after reconnecting to a session.
  • Fixed an issue where scavenging parts from the Shredder could leave behind invisible collisions.
  • Fixed an issue where the Trials weekly rollover could display an outdated rank; the celebration now reflects the correct current rank and the UI remains accurate during the cooldown period.
  • Updated recommended AMD graphics driver to version 25.11.1 to reduce recent crash issues on AMD GPUs.
  • Your Raider Den has been ducked out.

Movement

  • Improved enemy ground detection to better handle steep surfaces, reducing erratic movement when traversing angled terrain.

Weapons

  • Aphelion
    • Fixed an issue where Aphelion tracers could become excessively bright at distance, reducing visibility for the player being shot at.
    • Increased Aphelion blueprint drop rates.
  • Stitcher
    • Corrected player facing stats for the Stitcher, showing incorrect scaling of reload time across upgrade levels.

Today’s patch comes just after a week after Embark delivered our first content drop with the North Line update.

Marvel Rivals Minor Update Version 1.000.057/1.15 Released

Following the launch of Season 5 of Marvel Rivals last week, NetEase has released a new title update for the free-to-play shooter, and it’s one that brings in new store items, and applies bug fixes.

Console gamers will see this as Marvel Rivals update 1.000.057/1.16, and this should be a small download.

3. Jeff’s Bubble Trouble: In Marvel Zombies mode, equipping Jeff the Land Shark with Fusion Bubble ability could lead to some… unexpected bubble behavior. The bubbles are now sticking to the script, no more misplaced spheres!

Metal Gear Solid Delta New Update 1.002.003 Sneaks Out on November 20

Konami has pushed out the latest patch for Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater on all platforms on November 20. Console gamers will see this as Metal Gear Solid Delta update 1.002.003, and this adds a minor new feature to Fox Hunt.

Called the version 1.2.3 patch by the developers, players can also expect quality-of-life additions and bug fixes as part of the update.

Main Game

  • Minor bug fixes and adjustments.

FOX HUNT

  • Added ability to place enemy detection pings while aiming with a knife or gun.
  • XP can now be earned in custom matches.
  • Players will now be matched with others from different regions when matchmaking on their current server takes too long.
  • Extended the duration of invincibility after respawning.
  • Fixed an issue where invincibility after respawn was canceled by rolling or using Naked Sense.
  • Minor bug fixes and adjustments.

If you haven’t logged into the game since last week, here are the improvements applied via the 1.2.2 patch:

  • Changed field condition to always be foggy in Sacred Garden (excluding Custom Matches).

Ark Survival Ascended Update 1.075.014 Applies Various Gameplay Fixes

Studio Wildcard has released the latest client patch for Ark Survival Ascended, and it seems consoles and PC have different changelogs. Console players will see the download as Ark Survival Ascended update 1.075.14, while PC players will see this version applied as 75.16.

This title update brings gameplay bug fixes related to the creature drop the other day.

Hollow Knight: Silksong Receives Mysterious New Update Version 1.09/1.000.009

Following the release of a new Hollow Knight: Silksong patch yesterday on consoles, Team Cherry has pushed another one out on consoles again. We can confirm that the PlayStation versions have been updated to version 1.09/1.000.009, though we can’t say for certain whether it’s also available on Xbox platforms.

Note that this is another minor update, especially since the PC version didn’t get one recently. More often than not, the PC version gets patched first, with the console versions getting it a week or two after due to certification and whatnot.

Hollow Knight: Silksong Updated to Version 1.09/1.000.009 Without Any Announcement

Unfortunately, Team Cherry has not mentioned anything about today’s patch. Given the studio isn’t really active on social media, we’re not expecting anything to surface. Chances are, this is a patch to fix something that broke with yesterday’s patch on consoles.

So far, the community hasn’t noticed anything yet. Silksong has a few nagging bugs, and we’re unsure which ones were sorted with this patch. If you noticed something, leave a comment below and let us know.

In case you haven’t updated the game in a while, yesterday’s patch fixed the following:

  • Updated Simplified Chinese translation to use fan translation provided by Team Cart Fix.
  • Switched to Unity’s Input System to improve overall controller support. This includes rumble features now working for various controllers, and additional controllers being recognised.   • Reduced unintentionally long bind time when using Multibinder with the Shaman crest.
  • Updated Multibinder’s initial bind to clear maggots, per community comments.
  • Wreath of Purity durability increased.
  • Fixed void incorrectly conducting electricity.
  • Gurr the Outcast trap-throw attack updated from single lob to spin-style, to reduce time spent static. Other slight refinements.
  • Fixed Beast Crest fury slashes not piercing as intended.
  • Fixed Rune Rage damage scaling incorrectly.
  • Fixed Thread Storm damage tapering (additional hits don’t taper down as sharply).
  • Fixed rare instances of regaining control when grabbed by a Wraith.
  • Fixed couriers incorrectly offering the same delivery immediately after completing it.
  • Fixed additional instances of Hornet being able to push some enemy types through the floor.
  • Fixed issues when using Harpoon to stun or kill certain bosses.
  • Fixed Fractured Mask not protecting against volt hazards.
  • Various smaller tweaks and fixes.

ARC Raiders Down and Having Server Issues on November 19

Raiders having issues connecting to snag some loot in ARC Raiders, you’re not alone. It seems the game’s servers are acting up, with literally thousands of players having issues connecting to the game or matchmaking.

Players worldwide and on all platforms (consoles and PC) are affected with the ARC Raiders server outage happening this November 19.

Over on Downdetector, there are over 60,000 reports that flooded in the past hour. So far, there have been no mention of the outage from Embark, which is surprising to see given how the studio has been very much on the ball when it comes to communication with the player base. Chances are, that will change soon.

Once Embark issues an update, we’ll have it added to the article. There is a chance that the servers are melting due to the influx of players given the game has managed to increase its player count over the past few weekends since launch.
