Marvel’s Avengers She-Hulk Confirmation Accidentally Leaked by Steamer in Broadcast With Game Dev

A guest streamer accidentally leaked that She-Hulk is coming to Marvel’s Avengers on an official Xbox twitch stream. The developer of the game was also present, which made the situation even more awkward.

TechniqTV was hosting the stream with Brian Waggoner, Lead Designer of Marvel’s Avengers. During the livestream, Techniq went on to ask the viewers if they want to know a “fun fact” about She-Hulk.

“My acting coach is actually the voice of She-Hulk, and I won’t say her name because I don’t know if that was public knowledge yet,” Techniq said laughingly “I think it is, it was announced?” he added.

“Nope. We’ve never announced She-Hulk,” Waggoner replied worryingly. “We’re working on our next hero, we haven’t said who it’s going to be yet.”

You can watch the full awkward interaction here:

They tried to play it off later with Techniq saying his source might be wrong, but it was too late.

Jane Foster was recently added to the playable heroes roster in Marvel’s Avengers, just before her appearance in MCU’s Thor: Love and Thunder. Therefore, it would make a lot of sense if Crystal Dynamics added She-Hulk to the roster around her MCU debut in Disney+’s She-Hulk TV show which launches on the 17th of August. However, we’ll have to wait for an official word from Crystal Dynamics to see when She-Hulk will be joining the game.

Note that last year, the voice actress of She-Hulk in Marvel’s Avengers surfaced even if the character wasn’t announced. It seems this announcement is just a matter of when and not if it’s happening. Of course, we’re expecting She-Hulk to share moves and abilities similar to the Hulk, which leads us to believe that she might not be the next hero to be released for the game given Waggoner has already confirmed the next hero coming to the game will be “new.” Then again, the devs can introduce She-Hulk with an entirely different moveset, which mean she is an entirely new hero to play.

The Quarry Update 1.03 Adds Online Multiplayer Mode, ’80s Outfits This July 7 (Update)

Supermassive Games has rolled out The Quarry update 1.03, which adds the promised online multiplayer mode, ’80s throwback outfits and more! For everything new, read on for The Quarry July 7 patch notes.

The Quarry Update 1.03 Patch Notes | The Quarry July 7 Patch Notes:

Update: Supermassive has confirmed that the patch has fixed the “Hard Pass” trophy/achievement (thanks, MarkHolden!).

Here are the details on the multiplayer mode dubbed “Wolf Pack” straight from the press release:

Wolf Pack is an invite-only mode where a host can invite up to seven friends with access to the game to watch along. While the host plays, their audience votes on each key decision, with the majority vote determining the outcome. With endless replayability already built into The Quarry’s deep narrative experience, Wolf Pack offers a whole new take on the unimaginable choices you face during your journey, enabling you to experience the fright with friends.

In addition to the mode, new cosmetics are available too!

Additionally, today’s patch allows you to send the camp counselors’ looks back in time. Owners of the Deluxe Edition now have access to the ‘80s-inspired cosmetic character outfits for the game’s playable characters; the DLC pack is also available for separate purchase.

It doesn’t look like there are any gameplay-related bug fixes included in this patch, but if we spot any, we’ll be sure to update the post.

While not published by 2K, Supermassive Games’ upcoming title The Devil in Me has a new trailer that horror fans should watch ASAP.

The Devil in Me New Trailer Reveals New Distressing Location

Bandai Namco Entertainment has just released a brand new trailer for their upcoming title, The Dark Pictures Anthology: The Devil in Me. The new trailer reveals the game’s story details and its ‘distressing’ location.

The trailer starts with The Lonnit Entertainment TV crew just as they receive an ominous call from a man called Granthem Du’Met. Du’Met promises the crew a tour around a murder castle, and while that might seem like a bad idea, Charlie Lonnit finds the opportunity appealing as he believes it might just save his show.

Oscar nominee Jessie Buckley stars as a member of this ill-fated crew that visits this strange hotel location, a place that quickly turns into a deadly trap made by their disturbed host Granthem Du’Met. Observed, isolated, and manipulated like rats in a maze, it soon becomes clear that the crew’s checkout is compromised, and they will have to make some impossible choices that they might live to regret or just not live at all!

For those who aren’t familiar with the franchise.  The Dark Picture Anthology is a franchise composed of stand-alone single-player games that are not connected. The games are also always designed to introduce new and horrific experiences to all players on a regular basis. The latest game in the series is House of Ashes, and you can read our review of it here.

Bandai Namco Entertainment’s The Dark Pictures Anthology: The Devil in Me is available now for pre-order on their official website as well as at local retailers.

GTA Online Upcoming Updates Outlined by Rockstar, Red Dead Online Support Slowing Down as Devs Move to GTA6

On Thursday, Rockstar Games published a Community Update for GTA Online and Red Dead Online. The community update highlights future plans for both games, and the future isn’t looking very bright for Red Dead Online.

These are the updates coming to GTA Online in a few short weeks:

  • A new update that will expand upon the Criminal Careers of Executive, Biker, Gunrunner, and Nightclub Owner
  • A set of Contact Missions that presents the opportunity to be sworn in as a special IAA field operative to investigate a budding criminal conspiracy
  • Reduced effectiveness of homing missiles and countermeasures on the Oppressor Mk II
  • Offering a more convenient way to access snacks and armor
  • The ability to launch Sell Missions in Invite Only sessions
  • Increased GTA$ payouts throughout the game to reward players for their time — regardless of what they choose to play.
  • Bodyguards, Associates, and MC Members will see payouts increased to encourage and reward cooperative play
  • Increased GTA$ payouts across a variety of activities, including greater payouts across Races, Adversary Modes, and select Heist Finales.
  • Continued commitment to specially curated seasonal events, additional bonuses and gifts, community challenges, and other surprises for players will ensure that Los Santos remains as dynamic and unpredictable as ever.

On the other hand, Red Dead Online isn’t getting a lot of content, the post reads.

Over the past few years, we have been steadily moving more development resources towards the next entry in the Grand Theft Auto series — understanding more than ever the need to exceed players’ expectations and for this next entry to be the best it can possibly be — and as a result, we are in the process of making some changes to how we support Red Dead Online.

Firstly, with both new and experienced players engaging in the wealth of activities already added to this massively rich world including Specialist Roles, story-based cooperative missions, competitive Showdown Modes, and much more, we will continue to showcase these unique additions through Red Dead Online’s monthly events as we move forward, so players of all levels can enjoy everything the vast frontier has to offer.

Alongside seasonal special events and experience improvements — plus other changes to enhance and maintain a healthy Red Dead Online environment — we plan to build upon existing modes and add new Telegram Missions this year, rather than delivering major themed content updates like in previous years, and we will continue to highlight and share the creative efforts of our Red Dead community at every opportunity via the Newswire and beyond.

We don’t know if this update is enough to keep Read Dead Online alive, as fans have been coordinating in-game funerals for the game. #SaveRedDeadOnline has also been a top trend on gaming twitter, but the developers seem unfazed and fans seem helpless. Who knows, maybe the Red Dead Online team is hard at work on GTA 6?
