New Rocket League Update 1.81 September 16 Kicks Out

Announced yesterday, Psyonix has released the new Rocket League update 1.81 September 16 patch which preps the game for its free-to-play (F2P) transition, and includes a host of new fixes and adjustments. This is called the Rocket League v1.79 patch by Psyonix and we have the full patch notes below.

New Rocket League Update 1.81 September 16 patch notes:

Version: Rocket League v1.79

Platforms: PlayStation 4/Steam/Switch/Xbox One

Scheduled Release: 09/16/2020, 9 a.m. PDT / 5 p.m. UTC

THE HEADLINES

  • Epic Games Account Linking and Cross-Platform Progression are now available

  • Nintendo Switch Online is no longer required to play Rocket League online

  • Check out all of the Menu and UI changes!

  • Added a new Vehicle Preset based on the Merc car

EPIC GAMES ACCOUNT AND CROSS-PLATFORM PROGRESSION

Progression and Account Linking

  • You can now link each platform you play Rocket League to a single Epic Games Account to share progression, inventory, Rocket Pass progress, Competitive Rank, and more everywhere you play

  • For progression data, you will select a Primary Platform to progress everywhere. If you’re Level 1000 and Champion II on PC, and Level 500 and Diamond III on your console, you’ll want to pick your PC profile as your Primary

  • We strongly recommend you link every account you play at the same time so you can make an informed choice when selecting your Primary Platform

  • For more information, please read our blog post on Cross-Platform Progression

  • Players who linked their existing Rocket League platforms to an Epic Games Account will also receive the ‘Chopper EG’ Wheels

Epic Friends

  • Epic Friends have replaced RocketID as the solution for cross-platform friends in Rocket League

  • Your RocketID friends will be automatically converted into Epic Friends on your first login.

  • The In-Game Friends List has been updated to display both your platform friends and your Epic Friends in one panel for easier access

Legacy Status

  • If you played Rocket League before the free to play update was released, you have Legacy status

  • Legacy status includes special loyalty reward items, including a Boost, Wheel, Banner, and a special Title that commemorates the year your account was created:

    • ‘Faded Cosmos’ Boost (limited to accounts created prior to July 21)

    • ‘Golden Cosmos’ Boost

    • ‘Dieci-Oro’ Wheel

    • ‘Huntress’ Player Banner

    • ‘Est. 20XX’ Title

  • Legacy status holders also get special “Legacy” quality versions of every Common item available before the free to play changeover, as well as access to all non-licensed DLC items

Player-to-Player Trading

  • Trading with another player now requires a linked Epic Games Account

  • Trading with another player now requires both accounts to have purchased 500 Credits or equivalent (Esports Tokens, Starter Pack, etc.) to deter fraud.

    • Players with Legacy status are exempt from this requirement

NEW PLAYER EXPERIENCE

  • Players new to Rocket League with this update will see a new interactive intro cinematic, as well as special guidance when navigating the in-game menus

  • New players will need to reach Level 10 before they can matchmake in Competitive Playlists

TOURNAMENTS

NOTE: The new Tournaments system will be live with this release, but only a limited number of test Tournaments will be scheduled until we transition Rocket League to free to play.

  • The Tournaments system has been redesigned and now offers automated Competitive Tournaments at set times per day, per region

  • While you can still sign up with a full party, Competitive Tournament matchmaking will attempt to find you a team if you can’t join with a full group

  • Mixed-Rank parties will be placed in a Tournament based on the Rank of the highest-skill player

  • Playing at your skill – even if you lose! – is always more efficient than winning at a lower Rank

  • Teams knocked out of the tournament in the first round may be able to re-join during a ‘late joiner’ round

  • Leaving a Tournament early may lead to temporary matchmaking and Tournament bans on your account

    • If your entire team forfeits, no bans will be issued

  • Earn rewards over the course of each season by defeating opponents of similar skill

    • You’ll earn Tournament Credits based on your final placement in each Tournament combined with the difficulty of the overall bracket you were seeded into

    • The Tournament Credit reward is the same for all teammates

    • Tournament Credits can be redeemed to get Cups that will grant you a customization item of escalating quality

      • The higher level the Cup, the more often you’ll unlock an item of higher rarity

      • All Tournament items can have special attributes like Painted or Certified

      • These prizes can be traded in within their series, all the way up to Black Market

    • You can play in as many tournaments as you want each week, but most of your earnings will come from your Top 3 Weekly Placements, which reset at the end of each week on Sunday

    • Winning a Tournament earns you a Title that shows off the Rank of the Tournament you won.

      • Winning three similarly ranked tournaments throughout a season will grant you a colored Title at that Rank.

  • Players are still able to create and host their own Custom Tournaments

    • Knocked out of the Tournament you’re hosting? You’ll be able to spectate the remaining matches

MENU AND UI UPDATES

  • The Main Menu has been streamlined to reduce the number of buttons and better organize features

  • Play Submenu: Modes are now grouped into cards instead of tabs

    • Selecting a Playlist will now immediately search that playlist

    • For players who prefer to search multiple playlists at once, you can enable “Multiple Selection” within any of the Playlist groups. This setting is saved so you won’t have to toggle it each time you search.

    • You can now quickly jump into Free Play or the Garage after searching

    • Training is now accessible directly from the Play menu

    • Exhibition, Season Mode, and Private Match have been combined into the “Custom Games” card

  • The Profile Submenu now contains:

    • Career (Stats, Leaderboards, Rankings)

    • Replays

    • Create or Manage Club

    • Banner and Avatar Border customization options

  • The Extras Submenu is now found under Options – Extras

  • The appearance of the Main Menu and some submenus have been updated with new font and button/card designs

CHANGES AND UPDATES

Item Changes

  • Many items formerly classified as Common are now Uncommon or higher, and must be obtained via Drops by new players

  • Common Items are no longer unlocked in large batches per slot by playing matches. Any player with Legacy status that had not unlocked all of these items will receive remaining items in “Legacy” quality

  • Uncommon, Rare, and Very Rare Items no longer drop randomly after matches

  • Some cross-promotional items have been permanently marked as “Legacy” and can no longer be obtained by new accounts

  • Some older ‘V1’ Engine Audio options can no longer be obtained by new accounts

Support a Creator

  • You can now support your favorite content creators by applying a Creator Code to your account in the Item Shop screen

  • Your chosen creator will receive a percentage of your Credits spent while the code is active on your account

Default Settings Changes

  • Control Bindings are now organized into three presets – “Default”, “Legacy”, and “Custom”

    • “Legacy” is used for all existing accounts, and uses the same controls since our 2015 Launch

    • “Default” assigns “Air Roll” to L2/LT by default, and unbinds “Voice Chat”

    • You can switch to “Default” or “Legacy” without losing your “Custom” bindings

  • Voice Chat is now disabled by default

New Hitbox

  • Added a new Vehicle Preset based on the Merc car

  • This hitbox is both taller and narrower than the other hitboxes. Check it out and let us know what you think!

Microsoft on Halo Infinite Delay: We’re Not Reliant on Exclusive Games to Sell Consoles

Just last month, Xbox fans got some rather unpleasant news as Microsoft announced that Halo Infinite would miss its holiday 2020 target release date, and has since been pushed to sometime in 2021.

With the Xbox Series X set to launch this November 13, could this Halo Infinite delay harm Microsof’ts next-gen console from selling as well as it could have? Apparently, that’s a no — at least according to a Microsoft spokesperson.

In a statement to The New York Times (via GameSpot) Xbox spokesperson Cindy Walker commented on the Halo Infinite delay, and stressed that Xbox fans will have “thousands” of games to play at launch, and how the company isn’t reliant on console exclusives to shift hardware.

Having Halo at our launch would have been tremendous,” but “we are not reliant on massive exclusive titles to drive console adoption…Our players will have thousands of games from four generations of Xbox available to play on launch day.

Note that Walker’s “thousands” refers to the Xbox Series X’s backwards compatibility with Xbox One, Xbox 360, and the orginal Xbox one games, and doesn’t mean the console will launch with thousands of new titles.

Do you agree with Walker? Will Halo Infinite not being available at launch prevent you from buying an Xbox Series X or not at all? Let us know down below in the comments.

Mass Effect Trilogy Listing Spotted on Retailer Website

While the Mass Effect franchise has hit a snag with the release of Mass Effect Andromeda, it seems EA is giving fans another taste of the franchise this gen but this time via a Mass Effect Trilogy!

Portugese retailer gamingreplay has the game up along with the box art for the PS4, Xbox One, and the Nintendo Switch! Here’s a look at it just in case the listing gets taken down.

Over on ResetEra, forum posters noted that there is a Nintendo event for tomorrow, and as such, could the Mass Effect Trilogy be announced there given the Switch seems to be getting a version of it?

We’ve contacted EA regarding this story and will update the post if we hear anything back.

For those not familiar with the trilogy, Mass Effect 1-3 featured Commander Shepard in his quest to save the galaxy from the Reapers. It featured RPG elements, and offered players the chance to answer dialogue options in their own way, and even branched out cutscenes by letting gamers choose between Paragon and Renegade answers.

The original Mass Effect developed by BioWare launched way back in 2007 for the Xbox 360, with the trilogy tying itself up with the release of Mass Effect 3 in 2012. Multiplayer was introduced into the franchise with Mass Effect 2, with its PvE wave-based mode that saw players team up to take out various enemy races and factions.

Let’s hope this gets announced officially soon! If this sells well, there’s a  bigger chance we’ll see a new Mass Effect game make up for Andromeda’s mistakes.

Black Desert Online Update 1.55 September 16 Released

Pearl Abyss has released the Black Desert Online update 1.55 September 16 and it includes performance changes, gameplay adjustments and more. Head on below for the patch notes.

Black Desert Online Update 1.55 September 16 patch notes:

Red Battlefield Changes

Red Battlefield can now be enjoyed on the new ‘Marni’ server. The Marni server will be separated from other servers, and used exclusively for the purpose of Red Battlefield. You will be able to enter Red Battlefield through the start menu. Once you select the Red Battlefield option, a window will open up allowing you to join one of 10 new Red Battlefield channels. When one is selected, you will be transported to the Marni server, and when the Red Battlefield finishes, you will be returned to your original server.

Unlike the previous Red Battlefield system, you will now be able to join Red Battlefield during node and conquest war. We will also be removing the limited Red Battlefields for now, so all Red Battlefields will be open for anyone to enjoy.

The last change is that, if there are now less than 2 participants in the Red Battlefield after it starts, the Red Battlefield will conclude after 1 minute has passed, and any members remaining will be returned to their original servers and locations.

Todays update will combine Red Battlefield servers into one combined form. As a result, you will now be able to enter Red Battlefield without switching servers. Thanks to this new format, we will be able to add new maps, and we are aiming to add new maps as quickly as possible.

1 on 1 Arena

With so many adventurers testing their mettle in the Battle Arena, the Cliff Detached Force have opened a new 1:1 arena. To enter, you will need to talk to Hafun in the Battle Arena. Once you do, will you be able to fight in a 1v1, King of the Hill situation.

The two players who enter will fight each other in a 3-minute bout. If one player overcomes the other, the loser will be moved outside of the arena, and the winner will remain to face the next challenger. If no winner has been decided after 3 minutes, both players will be removed out of the arena and a new set of players will enter.

Much like the Red Battlefield, you will need to select and join one of the ‘Marni’ servers Battle Arenas. If there is currently an active Conquest/Node War on your current server, you will be unable to join the Battle Arena.

Performance Update

This update will also include a performance update to PlayStation 4 players which was applied to Xbox One players through a client patch on September 11th. This update improves the memory usage of the game under certain circumstances.

Crows Nest- Pit of the Undying Update

As the number of adventurers traveling to the Pit of Undying increases, the number of spectators has drew large sums of money for the Crows Nest. Therefore Patrigio, the first crow, has upped the number of Crow’s Black Jewels which are required for ranking up.

  PRI DUO TRI TET
Before 1 2 3 4
After 1 4 7 10

You can win Crow’s Black Jewels by completing fights in the Pit of the Undying.

With this increase, we are also adjusting the number of Crow’s Black Jewels required to do the quest ‘[Promotion] Crow’s Sealed Promotion Scroll.

  DUO TRI TET PEN
Before 10 30 60 100
After 10 40 130 250

A new quest has also been added that will allow you to challenge Yulho, the Pit’s rising star. This quest is available once per family, and you must have completed the ‘[Promotion] DUO: Undying Crow’s Insignia’ to accept the quest ‘Chorpy’s Secret Offer’ from Chorpy. Defeating Yulho with this quest will reward you with Crow’s Black Jewel x10.

Imperial Auction House

The Imperial Auction house is a feature occasionally used to list and sell valuable items. Although like most Auction Houses it rarely gets super rare items, but when it does….

As the Imperial Auction House is newly introduced, we have added NPCs that allow you to access their listings. The following NPCs have been added.

NPC Location Imperial Auction House Manager
Velia Garcia
Heidel Charlotte Penwood
Calpheon Lieber Rousseau
Altinova Den Shamyr
Valencia City Ahina
Grana Erina

Special Items will occasionally make their way through the Imperial Auction House. When the auction begins, a world message will be displayed alerting all adventurers that the bidding has begun. After this message goes out, the Imperial Auction Managers will begin accepting bids on the listed items. The current highest bid price will be

displayed in the window, and then another adventurer can bid higher than that, and it will continue to increase until the auction is over.

After the allotted time, the auction will be extended by one minute. During this time, if another higher bid comes in, the auction will be extended by another minute and so on.

If there are no extra bids, the auction concludes and the winner of the auction can pick up their items from the auction manager. Those who bid throughout the auction and did not succeed will be able to claim their silver back by entering the my bids page from the auction manager.

The first items to be listed in the Imperial Auction House will be as follows:

Item Name Starting Bid
Horse Emblem: Dream Arduanatt 5,000,000,000 Silver
Horse Emblem: Nightmare Arduanatt 5,000,000,000 Silver

The first Imperial Auction will begin as follow;

Field Boss Update

During the September 4th update, a change to Field Bosses went through that we unfortunately did not mention, and for that we are sorry.

The rewards for defeating certain Field Bosses have been updated. We have increased the odds of receiving the current rewards from field bosses, and we have also added the chance to get an Enchanted Scroll +20,+30 or +40. An enchanted scroll can be alchemized with Black Stones to create an Advice of Valks of the same value.

A new item has been added to the Loot Tables of different World Bosses. The Belongings of an Adventurer will now drop at certain boss fights, and offers some of the rarest accessories within Black Desert at grades up to TET. This item will drop at the following bosses:
Kzarka, Nouver, Karanda, Kutum, Quint, Muraka,.

The following accessories can be found in the Belongings of an Adventurer with an enhancement grade up to TET (IV):
Ogre Ring, Laytenn’s Power Stone, Valtarra Eclipsed Belt, Narc Ear Accessory, Basilisk’s Belt, Ring of Crescent Guardian, Eye of Ruins Ring, Orkinrad’s Belt.

Golden Treasure Chests have been discovered around the world of Black Desert. These Golden Treasure chests are scattered around the world, and can only be opened with a Golden Key. These Golden keys can be obtained by trading 100 Silver Keys with Morco of the Crow Merchants guild, who can be found in most major towns and cities. These chests contain a whole range of different items includes Dandelion Weapon boxes, Tungrad Earrings and more!

We have also modified the conditions required when using the Weapon Exchange coupons on new classes.

Item Name Before After
Main, Sub-weapon Exchange Coupon Usable one month after a new class release date. Usable from a new class’ release date.
Awakening Weapon Exchange Coupon Usable 1 month after a new class’ awakening release date. Usable from a new class’ Awakening release date.

Barhan Nesser’s scouts have recently discovered that an Argos Ritual of Blood has been successful. Although not is much known about how it worked, certain Valencian natives have partook in the ritual and have unlocked a new source of power.

Crescent Chief Gatekeepers of Crescent Shrine, Desert Naga Chief Gatekeepers of Desert Naga Temple, Fogan Chief Gatekeepers of Titium Vallet and Cadry Chief Gatekeepers of Cadry Ruins have undergone the ritual and have become considerably stronger. Once defeated, these monsters will instantly resurrect themselves. As their difficulty has greatly increased, Barhan recommends getting together in a party and attempt to take them down, earning great rewards.

Other Monster Changes

● Fixed an issue where Pit of Undying Boss Kunga would occasionally move abnormally.

● Decreased the damage of the Grudge Bearing Green Orc’s in the Traitors Graveyard.

● Fixed an issue where Belcadas, who appears in Sherekhan Necropolis, would have abnormal effects once attacked.

Fall Guys Cheater Island Was An Actual Thing Until it Backfired

In hopes of teaching cheaters a lesson of ruining fun, developers Mediatonic devised a system that would pool cheaters into their own lobby, dubbing these Fall Guys servers as Cheater Island. Sadly, despite filling these servers with cheaters, the idea didn’t stick for long.

Taking to Twitter, Mediatonic shared the tale of Fall Guys Cheater Island on how it came to be, and how eventually they decided to get rid of it.

They explained that they started with their anti-cheat system, one that wouldn’t insta-ban cheaters but instead matchmake them in their own servers. With them collecting enough data on cheaters and being 100 sure that the system was foolproof, they decided to launch these cheater lobbies, only big issue was they weren’t getting filled. To help solve this, they decided to lower the threshold in terms of what was considered cheating, and eventually these servers got filled with cheaters.

Well despite having good intentions, this idea eventually backfired as it was beginning to get hard to differentiate what lobbies had actual cheaters and which ones didn’t. Many legitimate players ended up uploading videos showing lobbies that, to Mediatonic eyes were indeed cheater lobbies, but in reality were just normal lobbies filled with cheaters.

And thus, due to the big success of the game and the amount of cheaters appearing in it, the team had to call in Epic Games for some help and as of today, has released a whole new anti-cheat system to replace the one they had before.

What do you guys think, was this the right decision for the team to remove cheater island?

Turtle Beach & ROCCAT Announce ELO PC Gaming Headsets

Back in March last year, Turtle Beach announced that it would be acquiring German PC peripheral brand ROCCAT. This week, the first product from the acquisition has been anounced, and it’s the ELO PC gaming headset series.

There are three different ELO variations PC gamers can choose from. There’s the ELO X Stereo, the ELO 7.1 USB, and the ELO 7.1 Air. Read on below for product specs of each as well as what each looks like.

Elo X Stereo Cross-Platform Gaming Headset
Designed for stereo enthusiasts and multiplatform gamers, the Elo X Stereo delivers supreme sound powered by precision-tuned 50mm drivers. Its extended cross-platform compatibility via a 3.5mm jack complements premium comfort features including memory foam cushions and a self-adjusting metal headband for a unique, weightless fit. In addition to premium comfort features like memory foam cushioning and a self-adjusting metal headband, the Elo 7.1 USB also works with ROCCAT’s AIMO lighting system offering vivid color customizations. The Elo 7.1 USB will be available for a competitive MSRP of $69.99.
Elo 7.1 Air Wireless Surround Sound RGB Gaming Headset
The Elo 7.1 Air is the top-end wireless model of the series. It offers exceptional, immersive 7.1 channel surround sound via powerful 50mm drivers and adds Turtle Beach’s exclusive Superhuman Hearing® sound setting for a competitive advantage. Elo 7.1 Air uses ROCCAT’s Stellar Wireless technology for a dependable wireless connection as good as, and sometimes faster than, a wired connection, as well as a long-lasting battery that averages 24-hours of use. The Elo 7.1 Air is also a new addition to ROCCAT’s AIMO product portfolio and will be available for a MSRP of $99.99.

We’ll try and get our mitts on some of these for a performance review as well.

Call of Duty Warzone Headed to Mobile According to Job Posting

While Call of Duty Mobile has its own battle royale mode currently, it looks like the mega-hit, free-to-play battle royale Call of Duty: Warzone is headed to mobile as well if a recent job ad is to be believed.

The official Careers page of Activision’s site had an earlier listing (since been pulled) fr an Executive Producer, Features for a “WZM” which seems to be a code for Warzone Mobile (not a hard code to crack).  Here’s an image of the job posting (per CharlieIntel):

It mentions how this role needs to “harvest, adapt and deliver the essential features from Warzone console and PC into their best mobile instantiation.” It also talks about improving the Warzone Mobile experience by adding “mobile-specific additions” that will ensure a “best-in-class mobile experience” for players.

If this is indeed legit, and odds are it is, it’s a no-brainer that it would make its way onto mobile devices. That said, if this happens, then Activision will most likely sunset the current COD Mobile battle royale game. Of course, there is the chance that Activision has two battle royale Call of Duty games available on mobile, though wouldn’t that create confusion among gamers?

In other Call of Duty news, Black Ops Cold War will be making its way out this November, and it’s bringing quite a number of changes to the franchise.

Marvel’s Avengers Game Weekly Resets to Be Grouped Into One Day; Fire Adaptoids Nerf Incoming

For those playing Marvel’s Avengers, chances are you’ve already seen that Weekly Challenges, the Marketplace items and more rotate on a weekly basis. Unfortunately though, these things cycle in and out at different days and times, so it’s hard to keep track of all the Marvel’s Avengers game weekly resets.

Thankfully, that’s about to change soon. In a new thread on the game’s subreddit, Crystal Dynamics announced that tehy are moving to a single global content refresh and challenge reset time and day!

Quick Weekly Challenge Reset Update
byu/CD_MeaganMarie inPlayAvengers

Based on your feedback, we are moving to a single global content refresh and challenge reset time and day. Starting with our upcoming V1.3.0 patch (anticipated by the end of the week), challenges will reset every Thursday at 10:00 AM PT. For this week, you can keep any challenge points earned now and V1.3.0. As a token of our appreciation we will provide 22 challenge points per hero to all players who have logged in prior to the refresh to account for the shortened challenge period. These points will be available to claim after V1.3.0 drops until Thursday the 24th at 10:00 AM PT.

Also in the same message, Crystal Dynamics has announced that the next patch is scheduled to drop this Thursday at 10 a.m. PT! This will bring gameplay and technical fixes and more.

In other Marvel’s Avengers good news, it looks like the Fire Adaptoids will be getting “adjustments” which should be a welcome move by the coomunity! This was confirmed by Lead Designer Phillipe Therien on the game’s subreddit where a fan made a thread on how the Fire Adaptoids are just so utterly overpowered, since, well, they are.

This Fire Adaptoids nerf seems to be coming to this week’s patch as well! Once we get the full patch notes, we’ll be sure to let our readers know.

In other Marvel’s Avengers news this week, Crystal Dynamics has acknowledged the daily mission bug, which you might want to read about here.

Overwatch Update 2.97 September 15 Ushers in Tracer’s Comic Challenge

Blizzard Entertainment has released the Overwatch update 2.97 September 15 patch and it brings Tracer’s Comic Challenge! Check out the full patch notes below, which includes bug fixes and character changes.

Overwatch Update 2.97 September 15 patch notes:

TRACER’S COMIC CHALLENGE

Wins in Quick Play, Competitive Play, Arcade, or Experimental will earn you a themed player icon, spray, and an epic skin: Comic Book Tracer!

Now through September 28, earn additional rewards by watching Overwatch streams on Twitch! Earn a total of 6 Tracer’s Comic Challenge sprays, loaded with their own special sound effects.

COMPETITIVE UPDATES

Competitive 3v3 Lockout Elimination

Season 3 of Competitive 3v3 Lockout Elimination has begun!

Ranked Leaver Penalty Adjustment

Adjusted ranked leaver penalties. Penalties are now more severe and will lead to a season ban more quickly

WORKSHOP UPDATES

  • The valid range for numbers stored in variables and used in mathematical expressions has been increased

We’re pleased to bring you the ability to scale players to very small and very large sizes, but it comes with one notable caveat: Scaling players to very large sizes and moving them into spaces where they don’t easily fit can impact server load and potentially cause your instance to shut down. There are two ways to mitigate this: First, you can choose one of the Workshop maps. These are designed for experimentation and can accommodate very large players. Second, you can use the “Disable Movement Collision With Environment” action. This will cause the player to pass through walls and ceilings, though the player can still stand on floors if the “Include Floors” option is set to False. (Collision with floors does not have the same server load implications.) When in doubt, you can display the Server Load values in the HUD in order to determine how scaling is affecting server load.

New Action
  • Start Scaling Players
  • Stop Scaling Players
  • Start Scaling Barriers
  • Stop Scaling Barriers

Sombra

  • Fixed a bug that caused Sombra to not be healed by the payload under specific circumstances

Tracer

  • Fixed a bug that allowed Tracer to Blink into unintended areas in Temple of Anubis
Workshop
  • Fixed a bug that could cause the game to enter an endless match restart cycle if too many of certain actions were executed immediately on match start

Neverwinter Update 8.20 September 15 patch notes:

CONSOLE PATCH NOTES:

Content and Environment

Avernus

  • A few lights have been re-added to certain parts of the Avernus environment.
  • Infected Manes now have more potential spawn locations.
  • When dying and reviving in the Wastes, the character is no longer immediately shoved back into their Infernal Machine.

Rage of Bel

  • Certain dialogs now have better-aligned images and text.

Redeemed Citadel

  • Quests which incorrectly counted other player’s progress have been addressed, and now only count the character’s own progress.

General

  • The Dead Rats: If two players are in a party, and one player talks to Gothwan, the other is no longer incorrectly prevented from completing the “Talk to Gothwan” quest step.
  • Trouble Brewing: This quest now provides Sharandar quest credit for the appropriate Legacy Campaign weekly.

Queued Content

  • Cradle of the Death God: Cradle of the Death God: Players should no longer retain Resurrection Sickness stacks after dying and releasing in this trial.
  • Lair of the Mad Mage: There should no longer be respawn points that fail to clear stacks of Resurrection Sickness.
  • Zariel’s Challenge: The initial release difficulty has now been renamed Zariel’s Challenge (Master).

Combat and Powers

Companions

  • Grung’s Instinct has been rebalanced to be more in line with other companion powers, and to function as its tooltip states.

Mounts

  • Various mount powers have been tweaked as part of the upgraded Mounts system.

Enemies and Encounters

Rise of Tiamat

  • Certain warning effects should now display more consistently.

Zariel’s Challenge

  • Rain of Swords no longer deals damage to players who are immune due to recently using a Raise Dead Scroll.

  • Resolved an issue wherein the weekly challenge “Refinement” would advance or complete when a nearby player finished an objective.

    • Items are now available for reclaim when they have been claimed by the character and the milestone has reached the completed state. The error messaging has been updated to indicate such.
    • Note that for items which are available in the reclaim store and from multiple personal tracks such as “Blessed Rings of the Herald,” available in milestone I and II, the final milestone where the item is available as a reward needs to have been completed for reclaim to be available. However, you only need to have claimed the pack from either milestone, and not both.
    • The reclaim price of packs which contain equipment has been increased. This increase does not affect cosmetic items.
