XIII Remake Is Looking Much Better in New Gameplay Trailer

Microids has just released the new XIII remake gameplay trailer. The new trailer showcases the new update of the game running on a PlayStation 5 console with improved graphics and seemingly fixed performance issues.

The game’s remake was originally launched in 2020 but, after intense fan backlash, Tower Five took over the project promising great improvements.

According to the XIII remake gameplay trailer, the update is promised to bring a new art direction and an improved AI to the 19-year-old game. More technical improvements including 60 frames-per-second are also coming to the game.

It is also worth noting that anyone who had already purchased the remake on the PS4, Xbox One, or PC will receive the update to this new version of the game for free, and on day one.

Here is the official description of the game according to its Steam page:

XIII is a remake of the cult first-person action game that was initially released in 2003. You play as “XIII”, a man without an identity, in a solo campaign with numerous twists and turns. Inspired by the eponymous graphic novel, the game features a completely reinvented and unique cel-shading design. In XIII, players can also take part in fierce multi-player fights.

XIII remake free update is coming on September 13, to the Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, and PC.

Fortnite Dragon Ball Crossover Event Trailer to Premiere Tomorrow Morning

Fortnite has officially confirmed the long-rumored Fortnite Dragon Ball crossover event. The Twitter announcement also includes the link to the upcoming reveal trailer, which will premiere early Tuesday morning.

Fortnite itself has teased the event just a couple of days ago in a vague tweet that read “Speak. Name your wish… 8.16.2022” with some cool concept of Shenron, a magical dragon from Dragon Ball.

The Fortnite Dragon Ball collab was first leaked in late July. According to r/FortniteLeaks, the event will include Punch Cards with 7-week challenges. One of those punch cards will require players to collect 20 Power Levels, which could be free.

Another Twitter leaker, @ListyPhoenix619 spotted a Japanese poster that seemingly confirms the collaboration weeks ahead of the official Fortnite announcement.

It is important to note that as of this moment, no more information is confirmed regarding this Fortnite Dragon Ball event. For more information, fans will have to tune in for the upcoming trailer at 4 am ET/1 am PST on YouTube.

Fortnite is now available for free download on the Xbox One, PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC.

FIFA 23 Collaborates With Marvel for Special FUT Heroes

EA and Marvel have collaborated to unveil the new cast of FIFA Ultimate Team (FUT) Heroes in FIFA 23. The FUT Heroes are inspired and reimagined by Marvel Comics, recognizing the memorable careers of Football legends. Each FUT Hero will receive a special illustrated FUT item at the launch of the World Cup game mode, with base versions of the FUT Heroes being available at the launch of FIFA 23.

The collaboration will feature each Hero being immortalized as a Marvel-inspired character including tifos, kits, balls, and more. Fans will also be able to get an online version Marvel Heroes comic book alongside a Marvel written bio for the FUT Heroes, with limited physical quantities to be made available at a later date. Players who pre-order the FIFA 23 Ultimate Edition by August 21st will receive a limited-time FIFA World Cup Hero Item, alongside other in-game benefits.

Here’s a look at all of the Heroes and their bio revealed by EA today:

Landon Donovan:

Donovan FIFA 23 MArvel FUT Hero

Some heroes start young and fade away. Others only make their mark later on. Landon Donovan took the reins at his very first FIFA World Cup™ and never looked back. Some heroes start young and fade away. Others only make their mark later on. Landon Donovan took the reins at his very first FIFA World Cup™ and never looked back. There the young American, just 20 years old, stood tall against his team’s arch enemy and headed in the goal to defeat Mexico and launch the US into the semi-finals.

Eight years later, with time about to run out against Algeria, it was Donovan who stepped up and scored to give the US their first top-of-the-group finish since 1930. Then a decade after his early heroics, following a career of unwavering bravery, unstoppable goal scoring, and stalwart leadership, Donovan did it again, slotting home a late penalty to win his fifth MLS Cup with the LA Galaxy. His legacy lives on through the MLS MVP award, named in honour of the most natural leader the league has ever seen. Donovan was a hero from start to finish—his uncanny ability to bravely answer the call with time running out making him a truly timeless FUT Hero.

Ricardo Carvalho:

Carvalho FIFA 23 MArvel FUT Hero

By the time an attacking player decided how they would try to attack Ricardo Carvalho, they had already lost. They just didn’t know it yet. The Portuguese’s amazing sense of anticipation allowed him to thwart even the most impressive offensive attack. He knew what his opponents were going to do before they did, and he never gave them a chance.

At Porto, he went from a lowly loanee to the league’s best player, leading Porto to a 3-0 demolition of As Monaco- the perfect finish to one of the most iconic UEFA Champions League runs of all time. He would go on to another legendary run at Chelsea. Still, anyone who witnessed that unforgettable European night could see it coming. Ricardo Carvalho was a FUT Hero; it just hadn’t happened yet.

Claudio Marchisio:

Marchisio FIFA 23 MArvel FUT Hero

Any hero can amaze us with physical gifts that make them better than everyone else. The greatest heroes inspire us to be better ourselves. There is no more perfect example than Claudio Marchisio. As a midfielder, his ability to coolly adapt to any situation combined with the skill and will to turn any possession into an opportunity to run, shoot, and score gave Juventus a legendary midfield.

Marchisio lifted the bianconeri back to their perch atop Serie A, winning the first of nine consecutive scudetti in 2011/12. He wasn’t called Principino merely for his heroic deeds, but for the way he always accomplished them with perfect poise and dignity, like the stunner he scored on the biggest stage for Italy at the FIFA World Cup 2014™ to send the Azzurri fans into raptures. His incredible skill, impeccable class, and connection to his hometown team make him the perfect example of a FUT Hero.

Yaya Touré:

YayaToure FUT Hero

Like the legendary Colossus of Rhodes, Yaya Touré only had to stand on the pitch to inspire fear and awe in all who saw the size of the mighty midfield mountain. In 2011/12 he helped Manchester City hoist their first Premier League title in 44 long years. That season may be remembered for a certain Argentine striker’s historic last minute goal to win the league, but the influential Ivorian scored both goals in the game prior to keep their title hopes alive.

Combine a dominant club career with over 100 caps and appearances at three FIFA World Cup™ tournaments for Côte d’Ivoire, and Touré proved that when his teams needed him most he could summon the strength to put them on his back and keep their hopes alive.  Yaya Toure may not yet have a statue, but FUT Heroes don’t come any bigger.

Park Ji-Sung:

ParkJi-Sung FUT Hero

Foes who fail to foil his relentless attacks or avoid his persistent pressing claim he has three lungs. Those who fail to escape his merciless marking insist he has two hearts. But the truth of Park Ji-Sung is far more heroic. Inside him beats the heart of a tiger. He not only has the ceaseless stamina to go all out all game, but he also has the tiger’s instinct for the perfect time to strike. Often that moment comes late when an opponent is exhausted, worn out, and has nothing left.

But Park Ji-Sung knows that a tiger does not have to wait. His stunning assist just 36 seconds into a legendary title-deciding match against Chelsea made him a Premier League champion, while his goal for South Korea in the 2010 FIFA World Cup™ made him the first Asian player to score in three consecutive tournaments. The Tiger Heart is an undeniable FUT Hero.

EA says that there are more Hero announcements on the way. Make sure to stay tuned to MP1st as we will update our readers once those announcements roll out. For more information regarding FIFA Ultimate Team, visit the official website.

Marvel’s Midnight Suns Wolverine Gameplay Trailer Reveals the Infamous Mutant’s Abilities

Last week, 2K and Firaxis Games showcased the Hero Spotlight trailer for Wolverine in Marvel’s Midnight Suns. Today, Marvel’s Midnight Suns unveiled the gameplay showcase for Wolverine. The deep dive video for Wolverine’s gameplay is nearly seven minutes long where we see him unleashing his unique set of skills and power. You can watch the gameplay trailer here:

Here’s Logan (Wolverine)’s backstory, via Midnight Suns’ official website:

Logan’s mutant abilities are enhanced tracking senses and an incredible healing factor that allows him to rapidly recover from devastating injuries. Abducted by scientists of a secret organization dubbed Weapon X, Logan was subjected to horrific experiments in their attempts to engineer a perfect soldier. His mutant healing allowed his captors to reinforce his entire skeleton with Adamantium, an indestructible metal, and forge him into an almost unstoppable weapon.

The torturous process was only one of the many tragedies that have taken a mental toll on Wolverine. As much as he is now a Super Hero, the damage that he has suffered and that he has inflicted on others is not as easily healed as his mutant flesh. Fighting for his own redemption as much as justice, Logan strives to prove that he is not an animal, but rather a noble man.

You can watch all the other gameplay videos revealed by Firaxis Games here. Marvel’s Midnight Suns is set to launch for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PS5, PS4, and PC sometime in 2023, following a recent delay.

General

  • The patch will come in two parts. The first will be on August 15 and the second will be coming shortly afterwards (hopefully in the next few days). So not every change, but most will be in the August 15 patch.

  • Battle Pass XP match rewards increased to 10 for wins and 5 for losses, up from 5 for wins and 3 for losses.
  • Disabled class based Battle Pass missions other than for Tanks

    • Ringout a player from the top of the map 50 times (previously 75)
    • Ringout a player from the side of the map 50 times (previously 75)

    • Get 50 assists (previously 125)

General Perks

    • We are aware of inconsistencies in this perk’s interaction with Velma’s speech bubbles and Batman’s Batarang. We will address these interactions in a future patch.
  • Make it Rain, Dog! – Projectile speed is now properly applied to thrown items.
  • Painted Target – Fixed an issue where projectiles weren’t applying bonus damage
  • Retaliation Ready – Reduced unstacked gray health from 3 HP for 3 seconds to 1 HP for 3 seconds
    • Reduced stacked gray health from 4 HP for 3 seconds to 2 HP for 3 seconds
  • School Me Once… – Increased consistency on projectile block spawn. Notable – getting hit by Jerry will now spawn a projectile block buff
  • Slippery When Feint – Fixed an issue where evade distance was not increased on hit cancels
  • Snowball Effect – Fixed an issue where projectiles weren’t applying bonus damage
  • Static Electricity – Increased consistency on projectile electric damage application. Notable – thrown items will now apply electricity

Gameplay Systems:

  • Ice Debuff – Movement speed slow at 1 stack reduced from 20% to 15%
    • Slow now scales linearly with each stack of Ice Debuff
    • Removed a bug where fighters affected by Ice Debuff took additional knockback

Gameplay Modes:

  • FFA – Fixed a bug where pop up text would display the incorrect point value.

Tutorials:

  • Various Bug Fixes –
    • Fix for tutorials causing stage hazards to toggle off in other game modes.
    • Down spike tutorial has been fixed so that it requires an actual spike rather than any aerial attack.
    • The Reindog tether step of the intro tutorial no longer counts if you pull your ally in after they have been rung out.
    • Fix for Shaggy falling off the map during the aerial combat tutorial demo.
    • Added a wall to the second step of the KBI tutorial.

Glossary and Terms:

  • New Terms
    • Added Wall Fatigue to the glossary.
    • Added the terms Block, Hazard, and Wipe to the glossary and updated move lists accordingly.

Characters

Legend:
+ = Buff
 = Nerf
~ = Change
Note: Attacks callouts reference default controls.

Arya

The goal of these changes was to make Arya’s combos be more consistent and successful at lower skill levels.

  • + Air/Ground Up Special – Hitting a fighter will now more accurately launch them at an angle to allow follow-ups for Arya
  • + Air Up Attack – The first hit will now more accurately combo into the second hit.
  • + Neutral Air Attack – Now has earlier branching on hit.
  • + Ground Side Attack – Arya will retain velocity on first hit of side attack.
  • + Ground Down Attack – Now has slightly earlier dodge branching
  • ~ Air/Ground Neutral Special – Fixed a bug where Arya would not copy over capsule hitboxes on her normal neutral attacks when stealing a fighter’s face.
    • Set Arya’s hurtbox to match her victim’s hurtbox while she is disguised as them.
    • Fixed a bug where Arya’s top UI would be offset incorrectly when she steals a face.
    • Fixed bug where Arya’s disguise attack hitbox could get disconnected.
    • Fixed bug where Arya’s original hitboxes would be useable during disguise attacks.
    • Fixed bug where the hitboxes from Arya’s disguise would stay active during her normal attacks.

Batman

  • ~ Air/Ground Side Special – Fixed bug where Batman would overshoot his grapple destination if the fighter he was grappling to dodged.
    • Increased the overshooting distance when grappling to an ally.
    • Fixed Batman grapple failing at short distances under high latency
  • – Ground Side Attack – First hit added 3 frames of whiff recovery.
  • – Air/Ground Neutral Attack (coming in patch 2): Batarang pick up will now return 9.45s of it’s cooldown down from 11.55s. This change helps create a window from when the batarang is used for the opponent to react. With perks like Coffeezilla causing this cooldown to be even shorter, we felt this change was necessary to create counterplay against the batarang.

Bugs Bunny

Bugs Bunny is a bit too safe in everything he does. We’ve given him some additional whiff punish windows to help address this.

  • ~ Air Up Special – Fixed an exploit where Bugs could spawn two rockets.
  • ~ Air Side Special – Fixed an exploit where Bugs could spawn two rockets.
  • – Air/Ground Neutral Special – Fixed an exploit where Bugs could spawn multiple safes without triggering his cooldown.
    •  Safe HP reduced from 16 to 14.
  • ~ Air Down Special – Bugs’ previous tunnels will now disappear when creating new tunnels.
  • – Air Up Attack
    • Added 4 frames of whiff recovery.
  • – Air Side Attack – Increased whiff recovery by 5 frames.
  • – Air Neutral Attack – Increased whiff recovery by 5 frames.
  • – Ground Down Attack – Pie max lifetime set to 8 seconds, from infinite.
    •  Pie no longer applies a slow

Finn

Fighting against Finn felt too difficult as Finn felt a bit too safe and could throw out attacks without much fear of a punish due to how quickly he recovered. Hurt/Hit box foundational updates are coming soon, but will not be in this patch.

  • – Passive – Attacks affected by Attack Decay no longer spawn coins
    • Finn now spawns with 100 gold instead of 200
  • + Air Down Special – Fixed an issue where the gem required 200 gold to spawn, but only cost 100 to spawn. Gem now requires and costs 100
  • – Air Side Special – Added additional whiff recovery.
  • – Ground/Air Up Special – Reduced the strength of the vacuum effect on the backpack
    • Weaker hits of the backpack will no longer “overwrite” stronger knockbacks from other attacks
    • Whiffing with all hits will still drop a coin
    • Added whiff recovery.
    • Hitboxes should better match the attack (not perfect until our planned hurt/hit box system overhaul)
  • – Air Side Attack – Reduced active frames to diminish Finn’s ability to hit fighters behind him
  • – Ground Down Attack – The distance Finn covers with this attack now scales with how charged the attack is.
  • – Ground Side Attack – Increased whiff recovery for the first hit.
  • + On The House perk – Fixed an issue where Finn still spent gold on gems spawned by the perk
    • Slightly reduced the launch speed of gems spawned by the perk – this should fix issues that arose when this perk was combined with the “Make it Rain, Dog!” perk

Garnet

  • + Air/Ground Neutral Special – Song activation starts earlier on frame 12 instead of frame 30.
  • ~ Air/Ground Down Special – Fixed bug where Garnet would be stopped by Iron Giant’s collision when she moves with her down special.
  • + Air Neutral Attack – Slightly higher base knockback

Harley

  • ~Stuffie Bat – Harley bomb vfx shrunk to better match the explosion radius
  • + Weight – Increased from 42 to 44.

Iron Giant

  • ~ VFX – Global fighter VFX now better matches Iron Giant’s size without making the screen too busy. Notable adjustments include Projectile Block buff, Speed Boost buff, and Steven Bubble debuff
  • – Air/Ground Down Special – Fixed an issue where VFX trails would persist and fill up the screen
    • Can no longer use cannonball attack when out of air specials
    • Knockback angle changed to send fighters more horizontally and away from Iron Giant.
    • Fixed issues that allowed for infinitely bouncing on enemies near the ground
  • – Air/Ground Neutral Special – Gray Health from activation reduced from 2 + #bolts HP for 5 seconds to #bolts HP for 3 seconds
    • Gray Health from ally overlap reduced from 5 HP for 5 seconds to 3 HP for 3 seconds
  • ~ Ground Forward Special – Iron Giant grabs are correctly blocked by incompatible states.
  • – Air Up Attack – Can no longer hit the same target multiple times
  • – Air Neutral Attack – Final hit knockback angle changed to send fighters more horizontally and away from Iron Giant
    • Increased knockback scaling
  • – Ground Up Attack – Gray Health from scrap reduced from 3 HP for 5 seconds to 2 HP for 3 seconds

LeBron

  • ~ Air/Ground Side Special – LeBron’s solo dunk no longer spawns a shockwave on the ground.
    • The alley-oop teleport version of LeBron’s dunk spawns a shockwave and will launch fighters into the shockwave. The shockwave will launch fighters into a final hit that applies Weakened debuff.
    • Solo dunk knockback and hitbox size increased
    • Fixed a bug where LeBron could dunk himself into the sky
  • ~ Ground/Air Down Special (No Ball) – Adjusted to prevent ball spam
  • + Air Side Attack – Branches earlier on hit; fix for hitbox hitting behind him too much
  • + Air Neutral Attack – Branches earlier on hit to increase combo potential.
    • Fix for ball neutral air branching into no ball neutral air.
  • + Ground Side Attack/ Ground Down Attack – Removed shared attack decay from side attack and down attack
  • + Ground Side Attack – 3 hit combo hits more consistently.
  • ~ Ground Neutral Attack – Fixed angle of attack.
  • ~ Basketball – Fixed some team color issues that would occur when reflecting LeBron basketball.
    • Fixed an issue where LeBron could be stuck attacking without his ball while visually holding his ball
  • ~ Hot Hands perk – When an ally catches a no-look pass while the Hot Hands perk is equipped, the basketball pass buff will emit flames to let allies know they will throw an ignited basketball

Reindog

  • + Air Up Special – Removed hitpause on ally that threw Reindog when Reindog connects in ball form
  • – Air/Ground Neutral Special – Increased cooldown from 13s to 14s
  • + Air Up Attack – Hitbox size increased

Shaggy’s Side Special felt a little too unpunishable, so we’ve added a bit of Whiff Recovery.

  • – Rage Air Side Special – Recovery increased by two frames; now better matches rage ground side special
    • Addressed an issue where Shaggy could perform two rage specials
  • + Rage Ground Down Special – Shaggy’s shockwave will launch fighters into a final hit that applies Weakened debuff.
  • – Ground/Air Side Special – Added 4 additional frames of whiff recovery

    • Fixed a bug where Watermelon Steven could spawn inside ceilings and be stuck.
  • ~ Air Neutral Attack – No longer will animation hitch.

  • – Ground Up Attack – Added additional whiff recovery.
  • – Ground Down Special – Added additional whiff recovery.

Taz

This is the start of our tornado changes for Taz. We will be continuing to monitor the tornado with extra scrutiny in case additional changes are needed.

  • Chicken Debuff –
    • Fixed a bug where transformed fighters could receive buffs that would not appear visually when they returned to their normal form
    • – Reduced chicken duration from 10 seconds to 8
    • + Increased the size of the chicken
  • + Air/Ground Down Special – Adjusted projectile movement direction of Taz spit projectiles to be more forward and less of a lob.
    • When Taz spits a projectile back at a fighter, the projectile will maintain its original speed.
  • + Air/Ground Neutral Special – If Taz eats a projectile that can’t be spit back out, he will refresh a count of his apple core ability.

    • Full power tornado has a 1.5 second duration and receives an additional 1 second duration after passing an ally.
    • On cooldown tornado has a 0.25 second duration and does not gain additional duration by passing an ally.

  • – Air Up Special – Fixed an issue where Jerry would continue to have active hit frames when falling from the rocket

    • The distance this traveled before gave Velma additional recovery that wasn’t intended.

    •  Will no longer chain into Air Down Attack as easily to prevent easy application of damage.
  • – Ground Side Special – Reduced gray health from 12 HP for 4 seconds to 6 HP for 3 seconds

Ghost Recon Wildlands & Breakpoint Down & “Ribera” Connection Issues Plaguing Players for More Than a Week; Ubisoft Aware of Problems

Those seeking to play Ghost Recon Wildlands (and even Breakpoint), you might be experiencing issues connecting to the game since last week. If so, it’s not just you, but Ghost Recon Wildlands & Breakpoint down reports have been flooding the game’s subreddit, and as of August 15, it’s still having issues.

Ghost Recon Wildlands & Breakpoint Down Status and Updates

The incident was first reported nine days ago, with the Ghost Recon subreddit mods posting the following message:

Hey folks your friendly neighborhood mod here,

Wildllands servers are apparently offline, might be due to it being added to game pass and the influx of new people trying to connect at once, I’m reaching out to the Ubisoft folks we have on the team to see if they have any insight but please refer to this thread for any updates regarding server status.

After that message has been posted, Ubisoft acknowledged the issue affecting both games. It seems with a megathread that’s still active today with players reporting problems connecting. The code that appears the most for people having issues connecting is “Ribera.”

There are a couple of workarounds that players have found, though not with 100 percent accuracy that it’ll work:

I have been looking all over the place for an answer but something I did find that worked was defecting the first boss (LA yuri Y El Pilito) again. I was board and decided to just mess around and replay the first boss mission and after that it said that I was connected and ever since I have been able to play online. I told a couple of my friends about that and it seemed to work for them too.

What’s odd here is, some players have said that they managed to get online, while other people still cannot connect. Some have also said that they managed to connect to the Ghost Recon servers and play, but after logging out and trying again, it won’t let them back in.

The last message from the official Ubisoft Support account regarding the Wildlands server issues was yesterday, where it said that Ubisoft are still looking into the issue:

Image

As for Ghost Recon Breakpoint, Ubisoft has also acknowledged that game’s server and connection issues as well, though that issue should be resolved now per Ubisoft:

If you want to keep updated on the discussion regarding the outages, the game’s subreddit has a dedicated thread for it. Ubisoft’s forums also has a dedicated thread for the Ribera error too.

We’ll be updating this post as more news regarding the situation surfaces. Hopefully, it’ll be resolved soon. In the meantime, bookmark this article, share it with your friends to let them know what’s happening. Once we know more, we’ll update the post. For all things Ghost Recon-related, head on over to our game hub for it.

(Unofficial) Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered PC Modding Tool Released

While Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered just got released on PC, a mod for it featuring the black spider suit has already been released. For those hoping to see more elaborate mods come out, you should be seeing more of it soon, as the Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered PC modding tool has been released to the public!

Posted by jedijosh920 on the Nexus Mods site, the tool is intended to make modding really easy. and allows users to extract and unpack the game files for editing! Here’s the official description straight from the creator:

About this mod

Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered PC Modding Tool allows you to extract and replace any asset in the game’s asset archives. It’s the foundation of creating and installing mods, having an easy to use mod file system where users can create and share their mods, and also install them.

Who knows what we’ll see come out of this. Perhaps a new boss? More elaborate Spider-Man suit variants (this one’s an easy assumption to make), tweaked levels so that Spider-Man swings around Gotham? Who knows, but one thing is certain, PC gamers are certainly going to have plenty of fun modding this one. Once we see some interesting mods swing out, we’ll let our readers know.

Check out the announcement trailer alongside the features list and other info straight from the press release.

Set in a shady and beset post-apocalyptic world you play various characters to unfold a complex story. With countless abilities, a dozen combat styles, and several secondary mechanics, every run is like a new issue of a comic book series!

I have to admit, this looks sick so far (the good kind). We’re going to keep a close eye on this one.

The Division 2 Known Issues Board Launched, Here Are the Issues Being Investigated

It might be a little late to the party, but Massive Entertainment has launched The Division 2 known issues board, which includes the list of issues that’s being investigated and worked on by the studio.

Note that the studio didn’t say that this is the complete list, so don’t assume that just because it’s not listed below, it’s not being worked on or being investigated.

The Division 2 Known Issues (Issues Known After Patch 15.4 Released on August 9):

Investigating:

The team is looking into the reported issue and is investigating or gathering information about the issue such as video/images/files/reproduction steps.

Since the team needs to replicate the issue they often need video, images or steps taken before issue occurred to reproduce it in a testing environment.

  • Gear] [Expertise] Hydden Gloves upgraded via the Expertise system were removed from the game causing the materials loss

Description

Even though, the Expertise rollback compensation provided all affected players with an excess of materials, we are considering the possibility of an additional compensation for the materials donated to increase the proficiency ranks of the Hydden Gloves. However, the individual losses cannot be tracked for this specific item, and it would take us time to find a solution that works for everyone.

  • PvP] Remove Expertise and SHD levels in non-invaded Dark Zones

Description

N/A

Priority High)

  • [PvP] Shrapnel Trap Skill is too powerful

Description

We are investigating possible solutions to this issue, but if none are found, we’ll consider deactivating the Shrapnel Trap Skill in PvP, but keeping it available in PvE. Planned for TU17 or later.

  • [DZ] Targeted Loot not dropping in Dark Zone

Description

We are investigating why Targeted Loot is not dropping in DZ as designed. The issue is affecting regular enemies, bosses, and landmark rewards.

In-Progress:

The team has the information they need to fix the issue.

They also need to test the issue and ensure the fix is working before it goes to live game.

  • [PvP] The damage is not increased while shooting the top part of the Hive Skill after the said Skill is detected as a danger zone by Achilles Pulse

PvP | Planned for TU16

  • [Countdown] Players are joining Countdown simply to kill the first wave of Hunters then quitting the mode

Description

Starting from TU16, the loot quantity and quality drops from the second wave of Hunters will be increased to motivate players to finish the session.

  • [Countdown] Players can be kicked out by the Group Leader before extraction

Description

To prevent the players from being kicked out of the group by the Group Leader before and during the extraction, the feature will be disabled for Countdown Game Mode starting from TU16.

  • [QoL] [UI] Raise cap on all crafting and optimization materials

Planned for TU16

Description

For TU15.2 we raised the cap on the materials needed for Expertise upgrades. For TU16 we want to raise the cap on all crafting and optimization materials that can be held by players to harmonize all of them.

That’s about it. Chances are, this list will grow even more — especially since the devs are busy preparing for two big updates poised to be released this year. For more news on that, head on over here.

MultiVersus Best Perks – Offensive, Defensive, Utility

Warner Bros. Games’ new 2D brawler, MultiVersus, focuses on gameplay over everything. One feature of MultiVersus that enhances its gameplay is its perk system. In Multiversus, players can choose from several perks that affect their character’s stats to their play style. Perks can range from buffs to literal attacks. In this guide, we will cover the MultiVersus best perks in each category.

MultiVersus Best Perks – Offensive, Defensive, Utility:

Perks are divided into two categories, signature perks, and general perks. Signature perks are exclusive to characters, while general perks are accessible to every character. This guide will focus on general perks. Perks are divided into three categories: offense, defense, and utility. Furthermore, perks in MultiVersus co-op can be stacked up, so choosing your perks wisely can mean the difference between winning and losing.

The Best Offensive Perks in MultiVersus

Snowball Effect

The icon for snowball effect in MultiVersus

Snowball Effect gives players an additional 7% damage. When stacked, it gives your team a damage boost of 15%. Not only is the damage helpful boost, but it can also be the best thing for a duo of two bruisers or tanks. For players that like to go all out with their combos and like to be offensive, Snowball Effect allows them to make every hit count.

On the contrary, for defensive players and players that like to strategize every move, Snowball Effect ensures that each attack was worth it and did considerable damage. It is also an excellent perk for beginners since no one can go wrong with added damage. All this makes Snowball Effect one of, if not the best MultiVersus Perks.

Hit Em While They’re Down

The icon for hit em while they're down in multiversus

This perk makes you deal 5% damage when your foe(s) is debuffed. For teams, the damage boost is by 10%. This is one of the best MultiVersus perks for skilled players. Debuffing an enemy is tricky, but it is always rewarding. This perk increases that reward. Getting 10% bonus damage when your enemy is in a very vulnerable state means you have an increased chance of quickly getting through their health bar.

Hit Em While They’re Down is an excellent perk for characters that can deal debuffs. Characters such as Harley Quinn and Superman will capitalize on this perk.

Make It Rain, Dog!

The icon for make it rain, dog! in multiversus

Make it rain, dog! Is a powerful MultiVersus perk. This perk increases the speed of projectiles by 25%. Projectiles can be a great way to disrupt gameplay and annoy your foes in MultiVersus. They are, however, often slow and easy to predict. This perk dramatically enhances the speed of projectiles thrown, which can be a great way to quickly stop the flow of an enemy’s attack or protect your teammate from a barrage of attacks. Overall, this is one of the best offensive perks in MultiVersus.

The Best Defensive Perks in MultiVersus

Toon Elasticity

The icon for toon elasticity in Multiversus

Toon Elasticity reduces bounce by 20% and 25% if stacked with a partner. Bounce can be devastating in MultiVersus. The momentum generated from a bounce can lead to a knockout. It often provides foes with the ability to stack up a high amount of damage as soon as possible. With Toon Elasticity, bounce is reduced significantly. This can be a lifesaver since a low health bounce can lead to getting knocked out of the map.

Slippery Customer

This perk increases dodge invulnerability by 10% and by 15% when stacked. Dodging is crucial in MultiVersus. Dodging is arguably the most essential part of the defense, and good dodging means minimal damage. Dodging is, however, tricky in MultiVersus, especially when facing nimble and fast characters like Shaggy and Arya Stark.

This MultiVersus perk increases the chance of a successful dodge by 10% or 15% (when stacked). While this may not sound like much to veterans of the game and genre, it can certainly be the difference between a successful and unsuccessful dodge for newcomers. All in all, this is one of the best defensive MultiVersus perks, especially for beginners.

Absorb ‘n’ Go

The icon for absorb n go in MultiVersus

This perk decreases ability cooldown after being knocked down by a projectile by 7% and 15% when stacked. Given how abundant projectiles are in most games of MultiVersus, the likelihood of being knocked down by one in a game is pretty high. This perk will at least give you something out of that. The ability cooldown can be essential for characters like Shaggy and Wonder Woman, who have potent abilities. Especially when facing players that rely too much on projectiles, this perk will come in clutch.

The Best Utility Perks in MultiVersus

Triple Jump

The icon for triple jump in Multiversus

As the name suggests, the triple jump perk adds an extra jump to your character. Given that MultiVersus is as focused on mid-air combat as it is on the ground, this perk can be very powerful. Mid-air combat is essential and can be crucial for getting knockouts; this perk ensures you get to stay up for longer and means your chances of knocking your opponent off the map when they are high up are significantly increased.

On the defensive side, this MultiVersus perk ensures you have a greater chance of making it back to the map when knocked back pretty far. Making it back to the map is the difference between life and death; with this perk equipped, you will almost always be making it all. All the defensive and offensive capabilities of the triple jump make it one of the best perks in MultiVersus.

Coffeezilla

The icon for coffeezilla in MultiVersus

Coffeezilla reduces ability cooldown by 10% and by 15% when stacked. This alone should explain why we think it is among the best perks in MultiVersus. Abilities can be devastating, with some characters being good only because of their abilities. A reduction in cooldown of abilities means the opportunity to use them more often, which can be extremely handy.

For players that rely a lot on abilities, both offensive and defensive, Coffeezilla should be a no-brainer. A team with two characters with strong abilities and Coffeezilla stacked will almost always be near overpowered.

Leg Day Champ

the icon for Leg Day Champ in MultiVersus

Leg Day Champ increases jump height by 10% and 15% when stacked. As discussed, aerial combat is a big part of MultiVersus and can lead to devastating knockouts. A higher jump means more control over aerial combat and greater time mid-air. This can come in handy, especially with players that emphasize vertical movement. This perk can be convenient, from a greater time to execute combos mid-air to a higher chance of returning to the map. When stacked with the triple jump, Leg Day Champ will give your character the ability to fly.

This completes our list of the best perks in Multiversus. Ultimately, every MultiVersus perk is viable, especially when backed by a strategy, and this is one of the many things we love about the game. Choose your perks wisely and you shall see tremendous results. Good luck!
