Warframe Update 1.87 July 1 Patch Released for Fixes

While Tennos just got the big Warframe Deadlock Protocol update yesterday for consoles (which we mistakenly dubbed the Warframe 1.85 patch), Digital Extremes has today released the Warframe update 1.87 July 1 patch, and as one might expect, this one is purely for fixes.

Clocking in at just 200MB, check out the full Warframe full patch notes below.

Warframe update 1.87 July 1 patch notes:

Per [DE] Danielle who’s Danielle Sokolowski, the Community Manager of Warframe (via the official Warframe forums):

Given we just got a big patch yesterday, that’s basically it. That said, there is a chance Digital Extremes released some gameplay-related changes, but we doubt that since the studio doesn’t really do stealth changes. Nonetheless, if you spot any that’s not mentioned in the Warframe update 1.87 July 1 patch notes above, let us know down in the comments.

Modern Warfare Playlist Update June 30 Rolled Out

While we just got the big Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Season 4 mid-season update that included new gameplay changes and content, Infinity Ward has released the Modern Warfare playlist update June 30 server-side update. No download necessary (whew!) as this will update itself once you connect to the servers.

Modern Warfare Playlist Update june 30 changes:

Here’s what got changed according to Infinity Ward:

A quick playlist update is going out now across all platforms that moves the BR 200 Quads playlist out of the sub menu and onto the main page in #Warzone!

And yes, that’s basically it. Given we just had a huge patch drop. that’s to be expected.  In case you want to find out what’s new in Modern Warfare’s Season 4 update for Call of Duty: Warzone, here’s a quick rundown of new stuff:

WHAT’S NEW:

200 Player Warzone!

Verdansk will now be able to hold up to 200 players. Jump into Battle Royale Quads with 200 players!

Supply Run Contracts!

Upon activation, you and your squad (if applicable) will be directed to a nearby Buy Station. Reach it within the time limit to get a discount on Buy Station purchases.

Spotter Scope!

Think of this as a high-powered scope without the glint; this re-usable scope allows you to scan the environment around you and mark enemies without being detected. Perfect for scouting ahead, the Spotter Scope is a great tool for Operators who want to plan their next move while keeping a low profile.

For Multiplayer, there’s a new map in Cheshire Park, a new weapon (Rytec AMR sniper rifle), and a new game mode called Team Defender.

If we spot any changes not mentioned in the Modern Warfare playlist update June 30 notes, we’ll update the post.

Monster Hunter World Iceborne Title Update 4 Release Date Announced in New Dev Diary Teaser

Back in April, Capcom announced that the next major update for Monster Hunter World, called Title Update 4, has been pushed back due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Today, the publisher announced the Monster Hunter World Iceborne Title Update 4 release date and even a new dev diary teaser too!

The Monster Hunter World Iceborne Title Update 4 release date is set for July 9 (next week!), while the dev diary, which will feature the new monsters, gameplay improvements and more, will air on July 3 at 1 p.m. BST/2 p.m. CEST/8 a.m. EDT/5 a.m. PDT.

The big addition in Title Update 4 is none other than the new Elder Dragon, Alatreon! Fans can catch the dev diary on YouTube, and we’ll have a recap of sorts once we know more.

In addition to that, Capcom has also announced that Event Quests will be returning to their normal rotation on July 8 — a day before Title Update 4 is out.

Once we have the new patch and details about it, we’ll let our readers know ASAP.

Delayed Battlefield 5 Summer Update Trailer Finally Released Weeks After Patch’s Release

Earlier in the month, DICE released the last content drop for Battlefield 5, which the studio calls the Summer Update. While that patch is already out, the studio didn’t release the Battlefield 5 Summer Update trailer due to protests concerning the George Floyd tragedy.

Over on Twitter, EA Lead Community Manager Adam Freeman posted a few stuff about the Battlefield 5 Summer Update trailer and why it missed its original upload yesterday.

Later this afternoon, we’ll publish that absent Summer Update trailer. Enjoy it for what it is, and let me know what you think of it. Lovely to be asked to help out

Our next update for Battlefield V will release much later in the year and focus on expanding Community Games.

We were looking at setting this live just a moment ago but spotted that our small text on the trailer stated ‘Out Next Week’ rather than ‘Available Now’ so in the interest of making sure things are nice and clear we’ll re-render our trailers and publish them later this week.

Even if the Summer Update is the last content drop for Battlefiedl 5, that doesn’t mean the studio has stopped supporting it. On the contrary, we just got a patch last week that introduced new fixes, and the studio will release another patch later this year as mentioned by Freeman’s tweet above.

Dreams PSVR Support Launches July 22

PlayStation VR owners will soon be able to experience Dreams from a whole new perspective later in July, as Media Molecule has revealed when players can expect to see the Dreams PSVR drop.

Dubbed as “Inside the Box,” this whole new Dreams expansion will not only introduce the ability to use VR during gameplay, but also a whole new toolset for creators to actually make tailored specific VR experiences. From Media Molecule, Inside the Box will offer an in-depth introduction to Dreams PSVR create mode along with a playable level called Box Blaster.

When it comes to Create Mode in VR, sculpting is truly unique, allowing you to bring your Dreams to life around you. If you have PlayStation Move Controllers, you’ll find sculpting in VR is a very one-to-one experience and lets you fully immerse in the creation process. Of course, you don’t need to be in VR to create for PS VR, and non-PS VR users will benefit from the update as well. We’re introducing a handful of new gadgets to Create Mode, and a full slate of accessibility features including comfort mode, vignette strength, static sky, and more to make the experience of playing and creating as great as possible.

Some new screenshots from their Inside the Box expansion.

This is some exciting stuff right here! One could only imagine what kind of crazy stuff users are going to be creating now that VR support is almost here. Of course, VR support is just one of the many features that are currently in the pipework for Dreams as the studio’s next big venture for the title will be multiplayer. Although that currently has no target release, so it may be a while before that actually releases.

Dreams is now available, exclusively for the PlayStation 4.

Overwatch Update 2.92 June 30 Fires Out

Blizzard Entertainment has released the Overwatch update 2.92 June 30 patch, and it includes Competitive changes, hero updates and lots more. This patch is live on all platforms, and you can check the official patch notes below.

Overwatch update 2.92 June 30 patch notes:

COMPETITIVE UPDATES

Open Queue Added to Competitive Play

Starting with Season 23, Competitive Play will support both Role Queue and Open Queue. These will be separate queues, so you won’t see Role Queue teams playing against Open Queue teams. Open Queue will have its own SR and leaderboard, separate from the role-specific Role Queue SRs and leaderboards.

Adjustments to Seasonal Placements for High SR Players

Beginning with Season 23, the maximum Skill Rating (SR) earned after a player completes each season’s placements has been capped at 3900 SR. Players are still matched with other players of similar skill, as we want to keep matches as fair and fun as possible. As each player participates in more games during the current season, their SR will slowly rise to reach a value that fully reflects their current skill.

This change is intended to address many of the issues that SR Decay tried to fix, but in a more positive manner that rewards staying active and playing more games instead of penalizing players for not playing enough. Achieving a very high SR at the end of a season can no longer be achieved by completing a mere five placement matches. This does mean you may see larger SR differences between all the players in a very high SR match than in previous seasons, as two similar and highly skilled players might have different SRs based on how many games they’ve played during the season.

Overwatch update 2.92 June 30 – HERO UPDATES

Ashe

Dynamite

  • Cooldown increased from 10 to 12 seconds

Developer Comment: With recent improvements to Ashe’s weapon her overall damage output has increased significantly. Toning Dynamite down will lower her overall damage while keeping her damage output focused on her rifle.

Brigitte

Repair Pack

  • No longer grants an additional armor health pool

Barrier Shield

  • Maximum health increased from 200 to 250
  • Regeneration rate decreased from 100 to 85 health per second
  • Cooldown when destroyed increased from 3 to 5 seconds

Developer Comment: Granting additional maximum health is a powerful ability and has proven too effective when combined with the additional healing of Repair Pack. Brigitte’s barrier will now provide more protection up front, enabling her to withstand more directed fire, but will also have a longer downtime if it is destroyed.

D.Va

Fusion Cannons

  • Movement penalty reduced from 50 to 40%

Defense Matrix

  • Cooldown reduced from 1.5 to 1 second

Micro Missiles

  • Activation delay reduced from 0.5 to 0.25 seconds

Developer Comment: These buffs are aimed at making D.Va feel more fluid and responsive to play.

Junkrat

Concussion Mine

  • Trigger delay reduced from 0.156 to 0.1 seconds

RIP-Tire

  • Time to take control of Junkrat post detonation has been reduced from 1.5 to 0.9 seconds

Developer Comment: These are a couple quality of life changes for Junkrat. This makes it possible to do some Concussion Mine jumps that were no longer possible after a previous increase to its projectile speed.

BUG FIXES

General

  • Fixed a bug with patch notes truncation for the Taiwanese locale
  • Fixed a bug with specific hero ultimate voicelines playing both their friendly and enemy team variations

Heroes

Ashe

  • Fixed a bug with an Incorrect shadow displayed across the hood of the Little Red skin

Lucio

  • Fixed a bug with Lucio being able to switch to Heal Song while stunned

Reinhardt

  • Fixed a bug with fire strike appearing invisible for allies

Roadhog

  • Fixed a bug that allowed Roadhog to hook Baptiste’s Immortality Field

Wrecking Ball

  • Fixed a bug where Wrecking Ball could hit an enemy much faster than intended with Roll Damage

Competitive players might want to check how they’ll tackle the High SR and other changes given it is pretty big.

General

  • The performance of the quest tracker UI should be significantly better than before.

For the full details and developer explanation on the new campaign, changes, and more, head on over here.

neverwinter update 7.92 june 30

Neverwinter Update 7.92 June 30 patch notes – Healing Changes:

Incoming & Outgoing Healing Adjustments

Outgoing and incoming healing bonuses have been reduced in order to be closer in value to receiving an equivalent amount of power per item level. Note that these healing bonuses still provide a larger increase to healing than simply opting for power for those item levels, as incoming and outgoing healing of course, do not increase damage dealt.

The Division 2 Operation Iron Horse Raid is Now Live, Ubisoft Rolls Out Fixes Alongside Launch

The race to be first has begun as The Division 2 Operation Iron Horse 8-player raid is finally live! As part of the maintenance earlier today, Ubisoft has also rolled out a few fixes via a server-side update. Check those and the Iron Horse details below.

Iron Horse will mark the release of the second available raid for The Division 2, and similar to the first will have players working together in groups of 8. They’re goal? To stop the True Sons and to once again gain control over the foundry. There’s tons of new gear to be earned in this raid, though for those who are super ambitious Ubisoft is once again holding a “world-first” event, where the team to complete the raid first will not only receive the high rewards from it, but also forever be immortalized in-game with a photo hung in the White House base.

Be sure to read up on all the rewards here: The Division 2  Raid  2 Rewards, Requirements & More Revealed

Patch Notes:

  • Fixed an issue that caused the doors during “Break Through the Black Tusk Forces” to not open during the DARPA Research Lab Main Mission.
  • Allows us to open the Raid doors at 6 PM CEST, 12 PM EDT, 9 AM PDT.

Source: The Division 2 forums

About The Division 2 Operation Iron Horse raid:

Following the initial Black Friday outbreak, a group of civilians gathered to settle in the United Ironworks; a foundry located close to Washington D.C.

Unfortunately, the True Sons raided the foundry sometime later and took control. Here they have hidden themselves away from the public eye and are once more scheming against The Division by expanding their already vast arsenal of weaponry. However, The Division has learned about their plans and are ready to strike back against this new growing threat.

Operation Iron Horse demonstrates how determined and ruthless the True Sons are. During this challenge, you will not only have to face the True Sons and the secrets they are hiding; but also the treacherous environment of a foundry. All bosses will come with their own unique mechanics and will challenge players ability to cooperate efficiently and to operate in a highly challenging environment.

Players who own the base game can participate in the raid after level 30, whereas those who own The Division 2 Warlords of New York expansion will need to be level 40. The raid is now available across all platforms. Good luck!

Warframe June 30 Update Controller Changes & Fixes:

  • Added two new virtual cursor sliders under the Interface tab in your Options to give you more ways to customize and improve how you navigate the UI with a controller to your liking:
    • UI Cursor Acceleration: Adjust the rate the cursor accelerates when moving in a continuous direction can be changed.
      • The Sensitivity Option still determines the overall speed of the cursor, while Acceleration gives players the freedom to set how quickly they’d like to get from point A to B.
    • UI Cursor Magnetism: Adjust the level of “magnetism” (“stickiness”) there is between the cursor and interactive elements in the UI.
      • Before the update, the cursor was set to “stick” to items you pass over by default. It was sometimes helpful but often proved to be an annoyance that prevented you from having reasonable cursor speed on UI windows with many elements. Now, you are able to customize how the cursor “sticks” to these elements. Setting it to “0” simply means that there will be no friction whatsoever between the cursor and the UI elements.
  • The Larkspur now has force feedback when using a controller.
  • Fixed an issue where resetting controller bindings to default would not remove bindings from buttons that didn’t have a default action assigned to them (e.g. D-pad down doesn’t have an action bound under Railjack controls, so if you bound Bank Left to it, for instance, it would remain bound).
  • Fixed a controller issue where you could assign an Archwing action (e.g. Move Down/Dodge/Blink) to a button that has a non-Archwing-exclusive action already bound to it (e.g. Ability Menu), resulting in both being bound to the same button simultaneously (where only one action would actually be executed when the button is pressed). Now, in the above example, the Crouch/Slide/Roll action would trade places with the Power Menu action, resolving the conflict.
  • Fixed an issue where if you rebound Ability Menu under the General tab for controller bindings, it wouldn’t update immediately under the Power Menu tab to that button, which could result in creating conflicting bindings under the Power Menu tab.
  • Fixed an issue where resetting controller bindings would take effect immediately even if you chose not to save when it prompted you upon exiting. Now only takes effect upon confirmation when exiting.
  • Fixed the action list in the Customize Controller controller screen not updating to show the current working bindings as you’re updating them.
  • Fixed holding waypoint button to remove live marker while mounted on K-Drive not working.
  • Fixed certain controls (move up/down and roll left/right) in Captura not working if you had any custom bindings.
  • Fixed an issue where if you rebound the R1 button to another action such as Power Menu, it would trigger Roll instead.
  • Fixed a few cases where bindings under the General tab would sometimes override a binding in a more specific tab. For example, on a controller, if you bound Right-D-Pad to Tactical Menu under General and bound it to Omni-Tool under Power Menu, it would open the Tactical Menu even when you were using the Power Menu.
  • Fixed a case where you would change a controller binding, and the list of actions to bind would still show the default binding.
  • Fixed inability to Pilot the Railjack downwards if you’re Piloting using your Operator with a controller.
  • Fixed another case where R2 would activate Chat instead of aiming.

Misc.:
The following change was reverted on PC due to feedback that it was causing issues for controller users. To save our console users from having similar problems, this change is not live. It will return after more tweaking and with the addition of a Profile setting to customize deadzone values to your liking:

  • Fixed controllers using a higher deadzone value than desired for non-look analog inputs. Was applying a 20% deadzone across the board instead of using platform-specific values, which were generally lower. This should improve responsiveness of analog sticks.’

Warframe June 30 update PS4 Specific Notes:

NEW QUEST: THE DEADLOCK PROTOCOL

Nef Anyo claims to have found an heir to the long-deceased Corpus Founder, Parvos Granum, and has the means to prove it. The Solaris have begun disappearing in droves and Eudico thinks it has something to do with Nef’s power play. Whoever they are, the heir to the Founder would be able to solve the stalemate and stage a total takeover of the Corpus Board. If Nef Anyo has anything to do with it, that spells bad news for the Solaris.

Prepare for The Deadlock Protocol Quest by making sure you have completed the Vox Solaris Quest. The Deadlock Protocol Quest can only be done Solo and you must be at least Mastery Rank 4; ready yourself!

*Players who purchase the Protea Warframe before playing the Quest will receive a Riven as an additional reward.

CORPUS SHIP REMASTER

The entire Corpus fleet has been retrofitted and redeployed for service. Explore remastered levels, complete with shrines to the illustrious Parvos Granum, but beware of new dangers lurking aboard including all new enemies! From ‘Minima Moas’ to ‘Juno’ series of Corpus Troops – take on new threats on the remastered Corpus Fleet!

96859b55eeb360c983fea9ba8dfe357e.jpg

JACKAL REWORK

Return to Fossa to face an upgraded threat. Equipped with a suite of the latest technology and upgraded combat capabilities, the Corpus have spent mind-boggling sums of Credits for the sole purpose of taking you out.

Experienced Tenno will be able to enjoy seven days of Jackal Sorties following release, where you can take on the reworked Jackal in a high-level area!

  • Riven Sliver can drop if the Jackal is above level 41 (Sortie).

GRANUM CROWNS: THE CURRENCY OF CORPUS DEVOTION

Out of desperation to locate any last trace of the long-dead Founder, Nef Anyo has developed a way to open Void portals. Eudico believes they’ve been kidnapping Solaris to use as guinea pigs and needs your help to rescue them.

42985709220aa3630ef96eeb6a3594b6.png

The portals are built through Golden Hand Tributes, a spot of profit-worship for faithful Corpus. By spending their Granum Crowns, a valuable manifestation of their devotion, the Corpus can open a rift and send expeditions to Void sites.

Thankfully, you can use these Granum Crowns to your advantage. Collect three tiers of Crowns from Treasurers in your Missions, each signifying a higher level of devotion than the last: Granum Crown, Exemplar Granum Crown, and Zenith Granum Crown. Use them to initiate challenges in Missions, search for Corpus Temple Reliefs or negotiate the release of Solaris prisoners in exchange for Standing.

Within every Corpus Ship Remastered mission you’ll encounter a Treasurer: A devoted follower of Parvos and all he stood for, willing to dedicate his life to be the keeper of the tokens of his esteem. The level of your mission determines the tier of Crowns the Treasurer will possess. Handle him with haste before he escapes with his sacred tokens!

51b75ca2d4ca0834d99f7ff313319367.jpg&key

Granum Crowns can also be spent at the Corpus Temple Reliefs in Missions to learn more about the Founder. Each new story you acquire will earn you Relief Decorations for your Orbiter!

NEW GAMEMODE

A new gamemode is coming with the remastered Corpus Ship, but since it contains Deadlock Protocol Quest spoilers we won’t share specifics here! What we can say is that you can earn the following rewards:

  • Protea Parts
  • Weapon Parts:
    • Stropha
    • Stahlta
    • Velox
  • Garnum Crown Decorations
  • Mortuus Shoulder Guard
  • New Captura Scenes that feature the newly Remastered Corpus Ship:
    • Corpus Ship Bridge Scene
    • Corpus Ship Hangar Scene
    • Corpus Ship Orbital Cannon Scene
  • Credit Caches

More information will be shared in the official Update thread where we will have that information safely stored in spoiler tags for those who have yet to play the Quest.

19e0e61e81bc1e5fe229b3f7d70e1b32.jpg&key

Atlas – Passive – Rubble Heap
When above 1400 Rubble, Landslide costs no Energy, deals 2x Damage, and travels 2x faster.

Nidus – Passive – Abundant Mutation
Nidus gains an additional 200 max stacks of Mutation. Undying has a 30s cooldown.

Valkyr – Hysteria – Enraged
Damage increased by 200%, Critical Chance increased by 200%. Hysteria lasts for 15s, and receives a matching cooldown.

  • Valkyr’s Enraged Hysteria Augment has a 1 time Energy cost of 50 instead of draining Energy over time. This also allows you to gain Energy while it’s active!

Saryn – Spore – Revealing Spores
Infected enemies within 40m will show up on the Minimap.

Riven Disposition Changes:

When we introduced separate Dispositions for each weapon variant back in November 2019, we planned to give new weapons a Disposition of 1 (the “average”), or matching the lowest member of the weapon family if it already had a Disposition lower than 1. Unfortunately, this meant that powerful new weapons (like the Kuva Lich collection) might have Rivens that start too strong, forcing reductions in accordance with our balance methodology.

In order to prevent this situation, we will be changing this policy: going forward, all new weapons will be released with the minimum Riven Disposition of 0.5. For The Deadlock Protocol, this includes the Dispositions on newly added Primary Kitguns, in addition to regular weapons (secondary Kitgun Dispositions will remain as-is.)

Full details can be found here: https://forums.warframe.com/topic/1199009-riven-disposition-procedure-for-new-weapons/
Pet Companion Stasis Removal:
All Stasis slots have been converted into Companion slots. All your Kubrows and Kavats are now listed upon equipping a Companion in the Arsenal!

Due to no longer having Stasis, if you currently have a pup Companion (not yet Matured), upon equipping it in the Arsenal the UI will prompt you to either Mature or let it roam your Orbiter. The option to let it roam is only available if you don’t have a proper Kubrow/Kavat equipped. When starting an Incubation your current roaming Companion will be put away.

  • The ‘Nutrio Incubator Update Segment’ now entirely disables DNA degradation!
  • The Pets Breed is now displayed beside the Pets name in the description when viewing in the Arsenal.
  • Kubrows that do not have a Collar cannot be equipped for missions, but they can be set to roam the Orbiter from the Arsenal.

Warfame June 30 update General Additions:

  • New ‘Update History’ Button!
    • When accessing the main menu, the bottom right will feature an ‘Update History’ button that allows you to get a quick sense of what’s changed since you last logged in!

    176347bf54943cad2e1cbdd9e6d77086.jpg&key

  • Updated the ‘Invasion’ gamemode icon!
  • Smoothed out the coloring on the level up UI lens flare to be a bit less invasive with certain Energy colors.

Warframe June 30 Update Railjack Additions, Changes & Fixes:

  • Changed the Valence Fusion popup if you have no compatible Fusion items but you do have Wreckage partially funded, this popup will indicate that you cannot use partially funded Wreckage for Valence Fusion (you can of course get refunded for cancelling the repair and then Valence Fusion will work).
  • Void Mode will be disabled when Operators use a Railjack Turret.
  • Added “Join Any Crew” option to search for Open Squads in active Railjack missions that you can join in a given Proxima. If there are no open squads, a pop-up will prompt you to try again or launch a new session from your personal Railjack.
    • We’ve added this feature to save time and keep you from needing to hover over node by node to see if there are active squads on them.
      e655ca256188846500ee1cdc008a6ae4.jpg&key
  • Added a ‘Scrap Wreckage’ button to the Railjack Components/ Armaments screens. This removes the step of having to manually go into your Inventory in order view a complete list of Wreckage to Scrap when over the Wreckage limit.

  • Fire hazards that spawn on the Railjack will directly damage the Ship/Hull directly, instead of getting split between Hull and Shields. This means that even if you have full Shields you’ll start taking damage directly to your Railjack if you leave a fire unattended.
  • General stability changes towards Railjack missions when a Host migration occurs. This touches on issues related to Crewships not spawning after a Host migration, and crashing when a Crewship spawning triggers a Host migration.
  • Fixed loss of functionality when performing a Finisher while inside a Crewship when it explodes.
  • Fixes towards inability to use the Archwing Slingshot if two Client players spam the interaction at the same time during a Railjack mission.
  • Fixed a case where the End of Mission screen would pop in for a split second when transitioning from a Railjack mission to Dojo.
  • Fixed being able to launch Railjack missions from an incomplete Dry Dock (still in construction through Rising Tide) after Host migrating from a mission joined as Clients.
    • This also fixes a related issue of infinite loading tunnels when returning to Dojo after host migration.
  • Fixed Wreckage Capacity not immediately being updated until after exiting and then coming back after using Valence Fusion with Wreckage as one of the components.
  • Fixed Railjack Armament stats not displaying properly when viewing the full Railjack stats.
  • Fixed a loss of functionality when viewing the Nightwave screen when a squad member returns the Railjack to the Dry Dock.
  • Fixed some Railjack POIs having a delayed reaction to your presence (i.e not firing Super Weapon, firing Ram Sleds, etc),
  • Fixed being placed next to a POI (if there is one) when skipping the Crewship Archwing exit cutscene.
  • Fixed Railjack mesh collapsing when loading into Dry Dock after mission in the “Configure Railjack” panel.
  • Fixed a crash when aborting a Railjack mission after another player had also aborted.
  • Fixes towards incorrect fog rendering when viewing skyboxes from your Railjack.
  • Fixed Scrapping unrepaired Wreckage displaying that you gained the wrong Resources. When Scrapping unrepaired Wreckage the UI should only show you that you obtained Dirac.
  • Fixed another case of Fire Malfunctions not damaging the Railjack in higher level missions.
  • Fixed Radial explosions from weapons (Penta, etc) not doing damage to Crewship Reactors.
  • Fixed the Join Warp feature not bringing your Pet Companion with you.
  • Fixed Cruising Speed Avionic not applying its 80% increase for Railjack speed when more than 3000m away from any enemy ships.
  • Fixed using a Forging Bay as the Operator not correctly tracking which Forge you were trying to use, causing Forges to appear “Busy” when they really weren’t.
  • Fixed weird Operator animations when using the Forward Artillery on the Railjack.
  • Fixed ‘Countermeasures’ and ‘Fiery Phoenix’ Avionics descriptions not matching their updated functionality.
  • Fixed inability to tag items in Chat when using the Chat window while on a Railjack Turret.
  • Fixed inability to exit the Railjack for a while after returning to the Dry Dock from a Railjack mission.
  • Fixed some Railjack Battle Avionics not firing where the reticle is aimed for Clients.
  • Fixed the default Railjack Skin not being first in the Railjack Skin list.
  • Fixed the End of Mission screen popping in for a split second when transitioning from a Railjack mission to the Dry Dock.
  • Fixed a crash that could occur when destroying Fighters.
  • Fixed Railjack doors sometimes preventing you from moving through unless you move back and approach them again.
  • Fixed a script error related to Scrapping Railjack Wreckage.

Warframe June 30 Update Nightwave Changes & Fixes:

  • Upon falling/jumping off a platform in the Weave, you will be teleported back to the main platform instead of failing the Weave.
    • The non-existent aim-gliding in the Weave was the root of many Weave failures, which is why we have added the teleport. It’s still the Glassmakers game though, so use your time wisely!
  • Slightly reduced the volume of Cephalite Tears opening/closing.
  • Cephalite Resonance Tears and Nora Night transmissions will no longer occur during Quest missions.
  • The Chat window will be hidden during Nightwave Episode Crime Scene cinematics.
  • Your move speed in Glassmaker Crime Scene #1 will match the Leverian move speed. Inspect with more haste!
  • Cephalite Resonance will be linkable in Chat which can also reveal the amount in your Inventory.
  • Fixed the ‘Friendly Fire’ Weekly Nightwave Act only awarding 1,000 instead of 4,500 Glassmaker Standing.
    • Upon login, the outstanding 3,500 will be retroactively awarded to those who completed when it lacked the proper Standing reward.
  • Fixed Cephalite enemies having blown out FX if killed with a Fulmin.
  • Fixed parts of the Mod UI being cut in half if you loaded into a Relay/Town with the Nightwave screen open.
  • Fixed the “Elite Explorer” Nightwave Acts not showing progress in description.
  • Fixed a functionality loss that could occur when falling off the final platform in the Weave.
  • Fixed a script error that could occur if an enemy was Glassed while on a mounted turret.
  • Fixed Titania’s Razorflies contributing toward the Heavy Ordnance Act Arch Gun kill count.
  • Fixed Cephalite Resonance in Railjack not being shared between all squadmates.
  • Fixed Kuva Larvlings and Silver Grove Specters spawning as Cephalites.
  • Fixed a rare crash when exiting the Nightwave crime scene.
  • Fixed a script error that could occur when a Glassed enemy was ragdolled.
  • Fixed cases of Glass Fissures causing spot-loading during stream-in so severe that Clients lose connection.
  • Fixes towards Glass Fissures opening during the Extraction cinematic.
  • Fixed the Confiscated Act of ‘Hijack a Crewship from the enemy’ awarding the Weekly Act amount of Standing instead of the Daily Act Standing amount.
    • This change will be reflected the next time this Act appears. For now you can enjoy this bank error in your favor!

Warframe June 30 Update Kuva Bramma Changes:

The Kuva Bramma has received balance changes to address it’s overwhelming chart topping usage. The Kuva Bramma still goes boom, and we look forward to your feedback once you’ve given it a try.

Full detail can be found here: https://forums.warframe.com/topic/1199010-kuva-bramma-changes-explanation-and-timeline/

  • It has a smaller reserve ammo (15 to 5), and gains fewer arrows from ammo pickups – This is to encourage players to aim the bow deliberately at crowds of enemies and not fire it wildly everywhere.
  • Fewer cluster bombs are produced on impact (from 7 to 3) – Reduces the overwhelming AOE potential somewhat but also makes the Bramma less visually busy. Players have said that the many many explosions produced by Bramma are hard to see through.
  • Increased cluster projectile radial attack size from 2.7m to 3.5m.
  • Reduced cluster projectile fall off from 100% to 50% – Fewer explosive fragments, but they cover more area and generally do more damage.
  • Updated the Kuva Bramnma description to include these changes:
    • This Grineer bow delivers vengeance in the form of cluster bomb-tipped arrows that can be detonated mid-air or on impact. Low quiver capacity, arrows are recovered singly.

Double Tap Mod Changes & Fixes:

  • Changed the Double Tap Mod description to include its stacking function when equipped outside of Conclave:
    • Double Tap (Latron): On Hit: 20% Bonus Damage on next Hit for 2s. Stacks up to 20x outside of Conclave.
  • The Latron HUD now displays the buff combo status when equipped with the Double Tap Mod.
  • Fixed the Double Tap Mod resetting its buff on every shot, as opposed to the intended reset on miss.

Warframe June 30 Update General Changes:

  • Increased the Riven Capacity limit from 120 to 150.
  • The Blazing Step Ephemera will be removed from the Elite Sanctuary Onslaught rewards table and added to two places:
    • Arbitration Honors Store in the Relay
    • Railjack Commander Boss Drop Tables (5%)
      • Out of the growing list of Ephemeras, Blazing Step was the more difficult to obtain due to its drop rate within the Elite Sanctuary Onslaught table. By taking Blazing Step out of the ESO table, the rewards within ESO will normalize and fill in the missing 1.01%. You now have the option to either spend your Vitus Essence in the Arbitrations Honor Store or by bringing demise to Railjack Commanders during your Railjack missions.
  • Increased the amount of invested currency that is refunded for the following:
    • Dissolving ranked Mods refund more of the invested Endo (75% just like Rivens).
    • Scrapping ranked Avionics refund more of the invested Dirac (75% just like Mods).
    • Selling ranked Mods refund more of the invested credits (75% just like Endo).
  • The Earth to Mars Junction will award the Iron Phoenix Stance, and the Earth to Venus Junction now awards the Clashing Forest Stance.
    • This aims to provide new players an easier path to experience the Melee system at an early Star Chart stage. Those who have completed these Junctions will retroactively be given these Melee Stances.
  • Removed Copernics from Mining Nodes on the Orb Vallis and added to Eximus enemies in the Lua tileset.
  • Removed Pustrels from Mining Nodes in the Plains of Eidolon and added to Eximus enemies in the Infested Ship tileset.
  • The Rank Up FX for Warframes, Weapons, and Companions has been given a refresh! This FX also now applies your chosen Energy color instead of the default.
  • Shield Gating is now disabled in the Dojo Obstacle course when you hit intended insta-fail traps such as Kill or Laser Traps.
  • Updated the following Augment Mods to replace the terminology ‘Proc’ with ‘Status’:
    • Vexing Retaliation
    • Shocking Speed
    • Tidal Impunity
    • Neutron Star
    • Hallowed Eruption
    • Piercing Roar
  • The Corpus Ship tileset remaster brings a new home for Razorback! Fight this Corpus creation in a brand new remastered Arena. Gameplay remains the same!
  • Reduced the hit FX of the Cernos Prime and Paris Prime.
  • The Opticor will queue charging if you fire and hold during its re-fire wait time (instead of ignoring the fire command if you didn’t wait the full 1 second).
  • Tweaked some Fortuna hammering NPCs to be more in sync with each other.
  • Corpus Ship Captura scenes “Freight” and “Maintenance” have been updated to the new remastered tileset, they are now “Artillery Battery Scene” and “Corpus Depository Scene”.
  • Polished and tweaked Nagantaka’s firing animation to reduce possible motion blur issues.
  • Changed the Fortress Container codex entry to be “Polished Storage Crate/Container”.
  • Polished glass texturing to improve volumetrics, reflection simulation, and everything a good wall of glass should offer.
    • On the topic of glass, we have removed Reinforced Glass from its respective tilesets.
  • Slight reduction to Elemental FX on Garuda’s Talons.
  • Improved Companion Moa parkour movements when attempting to follow/catch up with its owner.
  • Keep an eye out for new Venus skyboxes when loading into Venus missions and when gazing out your Orbiter windshield.
  • Updated the Arch-Gun animations (recoil smoothing etc.) when using Archwing Deployer in mission to make them even more awesome.
    • Also fixed an issue where players could slide around during the call down animation.
  • The Glaxion Vandal will be tradable.
  • Clem has gained a friend in his special hangout spot!
  • Transmissions and Chat will now be hidden when watching Quest intro cinematics in the Codex.
  • Enemy summons can now be mind-controlled by abilities. Previously, there was a mechanic where ‘owned’ NPCs would not be affected by mind control, but now this only applies to allied owned NPCs (Sentinels, Pets, followers) so that there’s no misleading things happening with Mind Control abilities.
  • Cleaned up Profile Stats by removing the list of scanned items since that information is in the Codex already.
  • The Pluto Oceanum (Corpus Outpost Spy) tileset has been changed to the Corpus Ship tileset on the Star Chart to provide it with the newly refreshed Spy Vaults.
  • Reduced Floof and Noggle Dojo Decoration cost from 20 to 5 (matching the Orbiter).
  • Rotated the Suprema heavy sword skin so it faces the proper way.
  • Baruuk’s Desolate Hands will no longer consume a charge from Baruuk when sharing with Allies.
  • From player requests, the Directed Convergence Mod has been converted to an Exilus Mod.
  • Moved some Sawgaw Conservation start points to not start in a cave.
  • Quests in the Codex will display the Mastery Rank requirement (if applicable) if you currently don’t meet that requirement.

Fixes:
8x pages of fixes (which also includes a handful of optimizations) are coming with Update 28.0.5 The full list will be posted once the update is live but here are some highlights:

  • Fixed Mutalist Osprey Carrier’s ignoring Limbo’s Cataclysm bubble.
  • Fixes towards Defense missions breaking due to an inability to terminate enemies that have been changed to Ally status (Nyx Mind Control, Revenant Enthrall, etc), thus inability to complete the Defense Wave.
  • Fixed inability to gain Energy from Energy Restores after using Valkyr’s Hysteria.
  • Fixed Shield Gating mechanic being ignored by weapons that fire multiple projectiles at once for Clients. This resulted in some enemies shot by the Host will survive due to Shield Gating negating most of the damage, while enemies shot by the Client are not protected by the Shield Gate.
  • Fixed the Archwing Launcher Segment Blueprint requiring Mastery Rank 5. It is now no longer Mastery Rank locked.
  • Fixed inability to trade Prisma Shade and Prisma Burst Laser.
  • Fixed Mods that give base Damage (e.g. Pressure Point) not applying to Atlas’ Landslide.
  • Fixed the Kuva Ayanga causing self-damage when out in space.
  • Fixed the Basmu reload not providing Health if you’re the Client.
  • Fixed Hildryn’s Ability Drain not updating in Arsenal Stats.
  • Fixed another case of the Vasca Curative not working on Kavats.
  • Fixed Baruuk’s Desolate Hands daggers not fully working with your Companion.

In other Warframe news, don’t forget that the digital Tennocon event has been pushed back. That said, there is some good news as a hard mode for the game is currently being tested.

Fallout 76 update 1.40 June 30 patch notes (Update 20):

UPDATE 20 HIGHLIGHTS

  • 76 Seasons: Earn S.C.O.R.E. to rank up and claim tons of stellar new rewards with our all-new progression system, which brings a major overhaul for Challenges.
  • The Legendary Run: Our first 10-week Season begins today! Race across the galaxy against the evil Dr. Zorbo and unlock unique cosmetics, in-game currencies, and much more along the way.
  • Public Teams: Use the Social Menu to easily find, join, or form a Public Teams that bring players together under shared team goals and offer themed in-game buffs.

76 SEASONS— EARN S.C.O.R.E., RANK UP, CLAIM REWARDS!

Today’s patch adds the new 76 Seasons system to the game, which includes a new account-wide progression system that will overhaul our current Challenges and offer you lots of in-game rewards. Our first Season is called “The Legendary Run” and everyone can join in the fun and start earning rewards for free immediately following today’s patch maintenance.

We’ve highlighted how 76 Seasons and The Legendary Run will work below. If you’d like even more details, please check out our recent Inside the Vault article or visit the Seasons page on Fallout.com.

RACE AMONG THE STARS
  • We’ve added a new option on the Main Menu for The Legendary Run, which you can access to view the Season 1 progression screen, keep track of your progress, and preview all available rewards.
    • The Legendary Run progression screen features a Captain Cosmos-inspired boardgame, in which you will race across the galaxy against the evil Dr. Zorbo.
    • Your progression is represented as spaceship gamepiece on the board. Can you beat Dr. Zorbo to the finish line before the 10-week Season comes to an end?
  • You will begin “The Legendary Run” at Rank 1, and you can advance your position on the board by earning S.C.O.R.E. through your Daily and Weekly Challenges. These include completing Public Events and leveling up your character.
    • Every time you reach a new Rank, you will be able to claim a new reward, like unique armors, C.A.M.P. items, weapon skins, Power Armor paints, consumables, Perk Card Packs, Atoms—even in-game currencies, like Scrip, Caps, or Gold Bullion!
    • There are 100 Ranks to achieve in total during Season 1, and more than 40 new cosmetic items up for grabs along the way.
    • All players will play using the same progression and reward path, which means everyone is working towards the same rewards through the entire season.
  • Starting two weeks after The Legendary Run begins, players will have the option to spend 150 Atoms to immediately unlock the next rank and claim its reward.
    • Please note: Ranks must be purchased individually and in order.
TAKE ON NEW CHALLENGES
  • Daily and Weekly Challenges have received significant updates with today’s patch.
    • Daily and Weekly Challenges now award S.C.O.R.E. instead of Atoms, and completing them is the primary way to progress during a Season.
    • Nuclear Winter Daily and Weekly Challenges now award S.C.O.R.E. in addition to their other rewards.
    • We’ve streamlined the Daily and Weekly Challenges you receive so that they are more straightforward and easier to complete.
    • We’ve also changed the number of Challenges you receive on a daily and weekly basis so that they are more predictable and consistent.
  • You can access your Daily and Weekly Challenges directly from The Legendary Run progression screen while you’re in a game world.
    • If you would like to keep an eye on your progress toward specific Challenges, you can add them to the Challenge Tracker from the Challenge menu.
  • Lifetime Challenges, like Character, Social, World Challenges, and etc., have not been changed. They still grant the same Atom rewards that they did prior to today’s update.
CLAIM YOUR PRIZES
  • After ranking up, head back to The Legendary Run progression screen to claim your rewards directly from the corresponding Rank on the gameboard.
    • When you unlock consumables, like Repair Kits, or in-game currencies, like Caps, they will only apply to one of your characters. Make sure to select the character that you want to receive the reward.
    • Ranks are account bound and their rewards cannot be earned more than once per Season.
  • Learn more about the rewards you can unlock during The Legendary Run, including Lunchbox consumables, the Ammo Converter, and more by visiting our recent Season 1 Kickoff article on Fallout.com.

PUBLIC TEAMS

Our new Public Teams system makes grouping up with others easier than ever, and offers special bonuses to players who choose to play together toward a shared team goal.

JOIN A PUBLIC TEAM!
  • We’ve added a new “Public Teams” tab to the top of the Social Menu that you can select to browse all Public Teams in your current world, join one, or create a team of your own.
    • Every Public Team has its own Team Goal set by the Team Leader, like Exploration or Events, which can help you find like-minded players to join.
    • Public Teams can have up to four members at once, so as long as there is an open spot you can click one of the teams in the list to join it immediately.
  • You can also open the Map to see where current Public Teams are in Appalachia, and join them from there.
    • Team Leaders display special icons showing their current goal, and you can click on them to view additional details before choosing to join the team.
CREATE YOUR OWN TEAM
  • To start your own Public Team, hit the “Create New Team” button in the Public Teams tab in the Social Menu.
    • Next, select a goal for your team. There are currently six to choose from: Hunting, Roleplay, Events, Exploration, Building, or Casual.
    • Once you’ve selected a goal, all players in your current world will receive a notification that a new Public Team is available.
    • Your Public Team notification will not appear to players you’ve blocked and vice versa.
  • Multiple Public Teams of the same type can exist at once, so you can choose any Team Goal you wish.
    • As the Team Leader, you can freely change your Team Goal at any time using the Social Menu.
    • If needed, you also have the ability to kick or block any players from your Public Team.
  • You can also invite your friends or other players to form a private team with you, and then convert it into a Public Team at a later time using the Social Menu.
    • Please note: Teams formed from the game’s Main Menu or by direct invite will always begin as private teams.
TEAM GOALS AND BONDS
  • While on a Public Team, you will receive a small buff that’s themed to align with your current Team Goal.
  • Over time, you and your new teammates will form Bonds, and each bonded teammate you have will add another stack to your Team Goal buff.
  • Here are all of the current Team Goals and their associated bonuses:
    • Hunting – Bonus: +25% XP for Legendary Kills (100% for a fully bonded team)
    • Roleplay – Bonus: +1 Charisma (+4 for a fully bonded team)
    • Events – Bonus: +25% XP for completing Events (100% for a fully bonded team)
    • Exploration – Bonus: +1 Endurance (+4 for a fully bonded team)
    • Building – Bonus: +1 Intelligence (+4 for a fully bonded team)
    • Casual – Bonus: +1 Luck (+4 for a fully bonded team)

While you are on a Public Team, there are a few additional things you may wish to keep in mind:

  • Your teammates will likely be focused on their current Team Goal. Be sure to join a team that matches your interests, or create a team of your own if you don’t find the type of team you are looking for in your world.
  • You and your teammates will not be able to build in each other’s C.A.M.P.s. However, you can still do this by forming or joining a normal “private” team.
  • You also cannot open locked doors or containers that your Public Teammates have built without becoming Wanted.

Catch additional information about this system by reading our recent Public Teams Overview article on Fallout.com.

DESIGN UPDATES

  • Team PVP: we’ve adjusted the rules of team PVP for both private and Public Teams so that a team member who engages in PVP with an outside player no longer also flags their teammates for PVP.
    • Instead, teammates must start PVP combat with the outside player individually to join the fight.
    • This will help prevent players from being dragged into PVP combat that they didn’t initiate.

SOUND

  • Music: We’ve added some out-of-this-world tunes to the Atomic Shop to delight your ears during The Legendary Run.

USER INTERFACE

  • Icons: Based on community feedback, we’ve added a unique Mole Miner-themed icon to the Map and in the Compass to better indicate the Purveyor’s location.
  • Map: Teammate markers on the Map have been enlarged and animated to make them easier to identify. Additionally, teammate names and player icons now only appear on your Map when you hover over their Map markers.
  • Settings: The Chat Volume audio setting is now completely independent of the Master Volume setting.
    • This should improve cases where players were having trouble hearing others over voice chat. Master Volume will continue to affect other volume settings, but adjusting it will no longer change your Chat Volume.

Fallout 76 update 1.40 June 30 NUCLEAR WINTER BUG FIXES

  • Exploit: Addressed an exploit that could allow the player to become immune to taking damage from the Storm and from taking Rad damage.
  • Localization: Attempting to join Nuclear Winter while running a non-English version of the game no longer disconnects the player for having modified game files.
  • Perks: Fixed an issue causing attacks with the Overly Generous Perk Card equipped to deal less than the intended amount of Rad damage.

I told you this Fallout 76 update 1.40 June 30 patch was big! If there are bugs that arises from this patch, we’ll let our readers know once Bethesda releases one to fix it (as often the case is).

NBA 2K21 Cover Athlete Announced for Current-Gen

Visual Concepts’ super-successful NBA 2K franchise is returning with NBA 2K21! In the press release, it mentions that the NBA 2K21 cover athlete for this generation (PS4, Xbox One), will be Portland Trailblazers star Damian Lillard.

To mark this announcement, a new trailer has been revealed called “Everything Is Dame” which you can watch below.

Here’s what Lillard had to say about his NBA 2K21 cover athlete announcement as well as a look at the cover itself.

This is a special moment for me in my NBA career. I’ve been a fan of NBA 2K for years and love how they represent all aspects of basketball culture. I’ve been playing 2K my whole life and I’m honored to join the other NBA greats who have been on the cover. I’m grateful to all my fans and can’t wait for everyone to experience this game later this year. – Damian Lillard, Portland Trailblazers

While Lillard might be the cover athlete for NBA 2K1 for current-gen (PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PC, Google Stadia), the press release notes that there will be an announcement for the next-gen (PS5, Xbox Series X) cover athlete tomorrow.

Once we know more details regarfing tomorrow’s announcement, we’ll let our readers know. That said, don’t be surprised if a certain no. 24 is announced as the next-gen NBA 2K1 cover.

Rainbow Six Siege Update 1.88 June 30 Patch Brings Y5S2.1 Changes

While Siege players got the massive Operation Steel Wave update just two weeks ago, Ubisoft has released the Rainbow Six Siege update 1.88 June 30 patch, or otherwise known as Y5S2.1! While this doesn’t seem to include new content, there are a lot of gameplay changes.

Rainbow Six Siege Update 1.88 June 30 patch notes (Y5S2,1 patch notes):

GAME UPDATES

MATCH CANCELLATION

Match Cancellation will go live with the Y5S2.1 update! We have tested it on the TS and as well as internally against a number of potential circumstances. However as it is a new feature, please let us know if you have any feedback or issues to report with Match Cancellation at r6fix.ubi.com.

Match Cancellation is a new feature that will allow players to cancel their current Ranked match under the condition that team sizes are unbalanced at the beginning of the match (eg: if players disconnect before the first round, or if a lobby is formed with less than 10 players). The Match Cancellation vote option will become available for the incomplete team during the prep phase and a majority vote will cancel the match. A canceled match will show as canceled and have no impact on MMR.

Abandon penalties are still in place and players who abandon an ongoing Ranked Match are still subject to escalating abandon sanctions.

If a match cancellation vote is triggered, leaving before the validation of the Match Cancellation vote will also result in an abandon penalty. Players should remain in the game until the Match Cancellation vote is validated and the game has been canceled.

BALANCING

MELUSI

  • Lowered the penalty zone by approximately 33%.

SMITE Update 11.46 June 30 Patch Brings The Great Dreamer Bonus Update

Just over two weeks ago, Hi-Rez Studios released a SMITE patch that brought in The Great Dreamer update. As is with every major release, there is a mid-season patch or what the devs call a “Bonus Update.” The SMITE update 11.46 June 30 patch is live now, and does just that.

SMITE update 11.46 June 30 patch notes (7.7 bonus update):

BONUS BALANCE LIVE JUNE 30
APHRODITE
The goddess of love is still breaking hearts. Aphrodite’s powerful metrics have persisted through the last round of nerfs, so in this update we are addressing a key counterplay element of her kit. Undying love provides two players on the enemy team with complete damage and CC immunity, which can swing entire fights. The scaling cooldown combined with CDR builds makes Aphrodite too hard to punish, so we are keeping this cooldown at 90s at all ranks. Opponents of Aphrodite can now look to bait out her Ultimate or re-engage shortly after its use to confirm kills against her.

UNDYING LOVE
  • Increased cooldown from 90/85/80/75/70 to 90 at all ranks.
CTHULHU
He has awoken. This new god is making a HUGE impact on the battleground. Cthulhu brings a strong frontline presence that can initiate through almost anything when he assumes his Ultimate form. We are increasing the cooldown of his Ultimate to make sure the pacing matches the power that it brings. We are also removing the very short window of damage mitigation he gained while transforming, as it was causing more confusion than anything else. Along with this Cthulhu will see a reduction in the amount he can heal his team. Many players are still learning how to play and play against this insane god, and he will continue to be a top priority for the balance team in future updates.

DESCEND INTO MADNESS
  • Increased Cooldown from 100 to 120s
  • Removed Damage Mitigation during Intro

TRANSFUSE
  • Ability 3 in Ultimate
    • Reduced ally healing from 10/11/12/13/14% Max. Health to 8/9/10/11/12% Max. Health
HEIMDALLR
SMITE’s newest Hunter has recently ventured into pro play, after a slightly longer than usual bug fixing phase. Even though he was nerfed many times since his launch, he immediately made his SPL debut as a top pick/top ban god. We are looking to adjust Heimdallr’s counterplay in a similar way as Aphrodite. This vigilant hunter can seek refuge in the Bifrost and make escapes no other god can. It requires more planning than usual, but that’s barely a concern at the pro level. We are increasing the time that Heimdallr needs to stand in his Bifrost before he teleports, this should make him more gankable while making greedy plays and expecting a quick escape.

GJALLARHORN
  • Decreased Knockback strength from 350 to 300.

THE BIFROST
  • Increased base time from 0.5s to 0.8s.
HEL
As we have progressed through Season 7 we have seen Hel slowly rise to be a top meta Mid Laner. Hel’s flexibility brings high damage output, along with high healing. Although she can be lacking in long range poke damage, her lane phase generally more than makes sup for it. To address this lane phase we are toning down her base damage slightly across her primary lane ability – Decay. To address her late game flexibility we are also decreasing her late game healing on Restoration. Two small nerfs to two specific aspects of her kit, perfect for a goddess with the duality of Hel.

DECAY (RESTORATION)
  • Decreased damage from 70/120/170/220/270 to 60/110/160/210/260.
    • This counts for both light and dark damage.
  • Decreased light healing scaling from 30% to 25%.
JORMUNGANDR
The world serpent has had a stranglehold on the Solo lane Meta for quite a while now. He was starting to drop out of favor until changes to Warrior’s Blessing brought him slithering back. As we look to make major changes to the Solo Lane, we want to open the meta up to more gods. We don’t want Jorm to be overly bullying all of the new experimentation that will be going on here. To mitigate that, we are decreasing the base damage of his basic attack, which was previously mitigated by Warrior’s Blessing. This is a significant source of damage for him, and should be an impactful nerf.

 GENERAL
  • Decreased Basic Attack damage from 11.2 to 9.6.
NIKE
The Goddess of Victory finally lives up to her name. Nike’s rework yielded a lot of positive feedback for providing a unique new ability while also paving the way for more balance changes. After a few more small adjustments she has finally had her breakthrough moment. Starting as a niche pick in the SPL Jungle, then slowly catching on across other lanes and other skill levels, Nike is putting on quite a show by now. The primary nerf we are applying is the duration of the Slow on her Ultimate. Six seconds is an eternity in SMITE, causing this goddess to secure a few too many kills in the early game. This will now rank up with the Ultimate.

BARRIER FORMATION
  • Decreased damage from 85/140/195/250/305 to 70/130/190/250/310.

SENTINEL OF ZEUS
  • Decreased Slow Duration from 6s to 4/4.5/5/5.5/6s.
SOBEK
Another elusive reptile is being nerfed today. Sobek, like Jorm, has been dominant in the solo lane, and we aim to apply nerfs for similar reasons. One experience that every Sobek opponent is sure to feel is the God of the Nile making a narrow escape. Sobek seems to survive through the most dangerous of fights. We are decreasing the bonus protections he gains during his Ultimate to ensure he is punished accordingly for diving too deep or missing too many plucks.

LURKING IN THE WATERS
  • Decreased protections gained from 30% to 20%.
YEMOJA
This versatile and elegant support has continued to be a top performer across many areas of play. Yemoja’s strength comes from being able to both apply pressure as well as protect her team. The Shield Mending Waters is a potent late game tool, especially when she is able to apply it multiple times in a single fight. This is being toned down along with the Riptide speed buff. To make it slightly harder for Yemoja to keep her allies alive through fights.

MENDING WATERS
  • Shield decreased from 40/160 to 30/130.

RIPTIDE
  • Decreased Movement Speed from 20/40 to 10/30.

For the new skins and more included in this SMITE update 11.46 June 30 patch, head on over here.
