Hitman 3 Update 1.10 Patch Notes, Features New Content and More This May 24

IO Interactive has deployed Hitman 3 update 1.10 (PS5 version 1.010), which adds new content, ray tracing on PC, and tons more! This is the Hitman 3 May Update and also brings in a new weapon! Read on for the Hitman 3 May 24 patch notes.

Hitman 3 Update 1.10 Patch Notes | Hitman 3 Update 1.010 Patch Notes | Hitman 3 May 24 Patch Notes:

Patch size: Between 2.15GB and 3.22GB on all platforms.

NEW CONTENT

Long Live Easter
Unlock the Yellow Rabbit Suit by revisiting the Berlin Egg Hunt and completing the new ‘Duck Hunt’ challenge. Everything you need to complete this new challenge can be found on-site in Berlin. Good luck!

Five Quacks
Enter the Elusive Target Arcade and complete a newly-added challenge to unlock The Ducky Gun. This unique weapon cannot be reloaded, but will quack along with every shot you fire.

Ray Tracing on PC
Realtime ray tracing arrives for our PC players with our 3.110 patch and will bring higher quality reflections and shadows to the World of Assassination. Through HITMAN 3, all locations in the World of Assassination will benefit from this new feature. Read more on our Player Support Hub for more details and the Requirements for Ray Tracing and Adaptive Supersampling.

Adaptive Supersampling
Patch 3.110 also adds support for Adaptive Supersampling, such as NVIDIA DLSS and AMD FidelityFX™ Super Resolution 1.0.  We’re also working together with our friends at Intel to introduce their Xe Super Sampling (XeSS) technology to the game in a future patch. AMD’s FSR2 is expected to be supported in the same future patch.

NEW ADDITIONS

Player Profile Limit
We’ve increased the maximum Player Profile level from 5,000 to 7,500 and introduced new visual representations of the profiles to support this new level cap.
The currently achievable profile names are:

Malus Necessarium (01 – 2,500)
Ius Obscurus (2,501 – 5,000)
Mortifer Velocis (5,001 – 7,500)

Mono Audio
We’ve added an option to enable Mono Audio in the Audio menu.

Instinct Kill Conditions
We’ve made some changes to how kill conditions are displayed in Instinct during gameplay. Currently, enabling Instinct when playing a Featured Contract will display the kill conditions (target name, suit, weapon). With this patch, the following improvements have been made:

– Instinct kill conditions are now also displayed when playing Escalations, including Seven Deadly Sins content.

– Default conditions (Any Disguise / Any Method) are always hidden from the Instinct kill conditions

There are a very limited number of instances where the Instinct kill conditions don’t match the mission objectives HUD, due to extremely specific setups in a handful of Escalations. In general though, this change will greatly improve the experience of playing Escalations and Featured Contracts.

Subtitle Background
We’ve added an option to enable a background for the game’s subtitles and choose the opacity.

Master Difficulty
What Is Thy Bidding, My Master? We’ve tweaked the Master Difficulty for HITMAN 3, to add more cameras and enforces – to give you the ultimate challenge.
Dartmoor and The Carpathian Mountain are the only locations without added cameras.

FIXES:

STABILITY

Overall  Stability
We’ve improved stability across all platforms, especially on Xbox platforms and Nintendo Switch.

Resize Crash
We’ve resolved an issue where some PC players could encounter a crash when resizing the active game window.

Disguise Reload
We’ve resolved an issue that could cause the game to crash when players would attempt to change their disguise and reload their weapon (or pick up an item) at the exact same time.

Striker A Pose
We’ve updated the challenge image for the Arcade – Track 2 challenge to reflect the weapon that players will earn by completing it.

Double Up
We’ve resolved an issue where the game could crash when players acquire a weapon from a smuggled briefcase, whilst already having that same item in their inventory. The issue would only occur when using unique items found within a map.

Trophy Troubles
We’ve resolved issues that would prevent players from unlocking these trophies/achievements: Icebreaker, Pure Poetry.

UI / UX

Inventory Limit
We’ve resolved an issue where some players would experience items missing from their inventory during the planning phase. After an investigation and help from our players, we were able to identify that the cause of this issue was due to an ‘item limit’ that we set back in 2015. The game was configured to display up to 200 inventory items. A few months back, we reached that item milestone and this change/fix will raise that cap to allow all items to be displayed.

Menu Mastery
We’ve resolved a visual issue with how Mastery tracks displayed unlockable items. Naming conventions will now be consistent across all tracks.

[Optional] Fix
We’ve resolved an issue where the planning page for Contracts Mode did not always show whether a complication was optional, or not. Now, the [optional] tag will be shown when appropriate.

Zero Leaderboards
We’ve resolved an issue where some players would see a ‘Complete this mission to be listed on the leaderboard’ message after completing a mission. This was an error only evident when players scored 0 points during a mission.

With this fix, existing players will need to earn more than 0 points to see their scores appear and any players earning a score on any leaderboard for the first time will see their score, regardless of how bad it is unlucky they were when playing.

Color me intrigued
We’ve added colors to communicate better what complications are failed, and which are completed.

Shoulder Swapped
Our all-time favorite Shoulder Swap option has been moved to Gameplay -> General, to fit in with all the other gameplay related options.

AUDIO

Footshhhhhhteps
We’re resolved an issue where Xbox One users were able to experience the true Silent Assassin experience, where Agent 47’s footsteps were completely silent. We’ve reverted this back to the intended experience, but it’ll still count as SA (Suitably Audible).

Loud Eliminate
We’ve resolved an issue where non-silenced pistols could not be heard when fired when using the ‘eliminate’ prompt behind a character.

Say THAT Again
We’ve resolved an issue where Diana’s dialogue was noticeably lower in volume during the beginning of some missions, notably the campaign missions in Hawke’s Bay and Mendoza.

ACCOUNT

Game Pass Deluxe
We’ve resolved an issue where some Game Pass subscribers could not download their Deluxe Edition content through IOI Account.

GAMEPLAY

Odium Glass
We’ve resolved an issue where the sunglasses on the Odium Suit (Seven Deadly Sins: Envy) were floating and following 47 around the map, rather than protecting his eyes from the Hokkaido sun. Now, they’ll be worn as you’d expect.

Polar Properties
We’ve resolved an issue that caused the Polar Survival Suit to not function like a regular suit. For example, it was considered as trespassing in zones that should be safe, wasn’t being enforced correctly or was unable to perform certain actions.

My Name is Jefe
We’ve tweaked a few things to make sure that the man known only as ‘Jeff’ is always present on maps for Contracts Mode creation and on created Contracts.

Elusive Target Arcade Intel
We’ve fixed the issue where intel found in any Elusive Target Arcade missions did not award players experience. They do now!

Elusive Target Arcade the first batch
Our first batch of Elusive Target Arcade had many complications on them. These have been removed to match the new version of less restricted Elusive Target Arcades.

HITMAN 3 LOCATION-SPECIFIC CHANGES

DUBAI

Unstuck
We’ve resolved an issue where 47 could get stuck in the floor, after hiding a body in a specific area of the penthouse.

DARTMOOR

Texture Ceiling
We’ve resolved an issue where the textures in the ceiling near the main entrance could flicker.

Not Amoosed
We’ve resolved an issue where the ‘I Find This Amoosing’ challenge did not unlock.

CHONGQING

Rage Quit
We’ve made sure that all guards in Chonqging are fully briefed on which disguises are allowed into certain areas. In the past, 47 was being prevented from entering, despite wearing a suitable disguise.

All Seeing Eyes
We’ve resolved an issue where important dialogue during the ‘All Seeing Eyes’ Mission Story was sometimes not triggered or displayed in subtitles.

Rainy Days
We’ve resolved an issue where outdoors sounds, namely rainfall, can be heard in the lower levels of the facility.

MENDOZA

Jamen Dog
We’ve resolved an issue where 47 was unable to enter certain areas when wearing a disguise that should have been allowed. His name number wasn’t on the list.

A meet W
We’ve resolved an issue where two specific characters in Mendoza had single-letter names when selected as targets in Contracts Mode.

CARPATHIAN MOUNTAINS

Long Journey
We’ve resolved an issue that could cause players to fall off the train when trying to climb onto the roof in a specific spot.

WORLD OF ASSASSINATION FIXES

As well as changes to HITMAN 3, we’ve also listed various improvements or changes to HITMAN 1 and HITMAN 2 locations, when played in HITMAN 3.

Sapienza: Dirty Hands
We’ve fixed a typo the in ‘Getting Your Hands Dirty’ challenge description, where it was incorrectly stated that players must “Assassinate [target] during the meeting the on pier.”

Sapienza: Plant Man
We’ve resolved an issue where players could get stuck in an unplayable area by traversing over plant pots in the cemetery.

Isle of Scat1620: Missing Grey
We’ve resolved an issue where Lucas Grey was missing from the Isle of Sgail opening cutscene.

New York: Flamingo Feet
We’ve resolved an issue where one of the IT workers in the bank had lost their flamingo slippers. You’ll never guess where we found them.

Bangkok: Dancing Boats
We’ve resolved an issue where some of the boats in the harbour would start to ‘dance’ on PS5 after a short period of time.

Hawke’s Bay: Alma Slow
We’ve resolved an issue that could cause Alma to permanently hang out near the coat racks if Orson is subdued upstairs.

HARDWARE

Xbox Wireless Controller x Bluetooth
We’ve resolved an issue where Xbox Wireless Controllers, including Series S/X controllers, would not function properly via Bluetooth. With this fix, all Xbox Wireless Controllers should work either as wired, with Bluetooth or with a Wireless Adaptor on Epic, Steam and Windows PC (Microsoft).

Time to take control (PS5 DualSense Controller Support on PC)
We’ve added support for the rare PS5 DualSense controller to work with HITMAN 3 on PC wired trough USB. On Steam however – It will work both wired and wireless via Bluetooth.

Note, there are no Adaptive Triggers support when using the DualSense Controller on PC.

PC VR

Reset Issues
We’ve resolved an issue that could cause visual issues if players change graphics settings in-game, and then reset them to default.

Fibrewire Tweaks
We’ve improved the control you’ll have over NPCs when initiating a fibrewire takedown.

Support Icons
We’ve added a small icon to menu tiles where VR content is not supported, to make it easier to know at-a-glance what can be played in VR.

BF2042: Battlefield Portal Custom Experiences Test Running for a Week, Will Allow Full Progression Without AI or the Rules Editor

Ripple Effect Studios is going to test something in Battlefield 2042’s Battlefield Portal mode for week starting today! The studio announced that the Battlefield Portal Custom Experiences is getting tested for a week, and during this time, all Custom Experiences without AI bots or the Rules Editor will earn full progression.

This announcement was made by the studio over on Twitter, where it also shared that on May 31, the devs will revert to current Full, Moderate and Restricted progression while they review the impact on the test gameplay.

Today we’ll test further changes to how you earn XP and Progression while building Custom Experiences in #BattlefieldPortal.

This test will run for one week until May 31, and during it all Custom Experiences without AI or the Rules Editor will earn Full Progression.

On May 31, we’ll revert back to current Full, Moderate and Restricted Progression whilst we review the impact of this test on fair gameplay. We remain committed to establishing fair Progression while playing #BattlefieldPortal, and we’ll keep you updated on further changes.
Hopefully, the Battlefield 2042 player base fiddling with BF Portal can put on a good and fair show, so that Ripple Effect can see a positive take on the test.

  • At the end of the season, more Mastercrafts will become available, including the Tracer Pack: Tread Lightly Mastercraft Bundle, which features prototype-themed weaponry.

Serpentine — The Vanguard Perk Arrives in Warzone

Scenario: you are in a dead sprint across the map when suddenly, a sniper from 300 yards out starts taking pot shots. Somehow, one connects to your head, and you’re out of the game.

Serpentine, the new Perk arriving from Vanguard, hopes to remedy this without completely leaving marksmen out to dry.

Available in the Perk 1 slot for all players after the update, Serpentine’s description is as follows:

“Sprinting reduces incoming damage from bullets, explosives, and fire by 20%.”

Will it be an “auto-pick”? Not necessarily — consider some of the other options in the Blue Perk 1 slot: currently, Double Time (which boosts Tactical Sprint) and Cold Blooded (which directly counters Combat Scout) are two extremely popular choices in the current meta. Then there is Quick Fix, which shaves seconds off health-regeneration time, which the most elite players tend to gravitate toward. And we didn’t even talk about E.O.D., a great Perk for those who despise dying to explosives.

New Vanguard Multiplayer Map — Sphere

In Call of Duty: Vanguard, Classified Arms Reloaded will bring Sphere, a new small Multiplayer map featuring an underground weapons lab hidden beneath the façade of a coal mine.

On the top floor, battle in the dusty environs of a mock coal mining village, featuring wooden buildings, crates, and natural formations that will make you feel like a veritable gunslinger in the Old West.

Head underground and you’ll be greeted by the Mine, Concrete Tunnels, Workshop, and the central Lab, where Operators can flood in from all sides

H4 Blixen SMG

Favored by Special Operations Forces, this hard-hitting SMG offers mobility and accuracy in medium range engagements.

The Owen Gun is the most notable slower-firing SMG in this weapon category, but in Classified Arms Reloaded, the H4 Blixen will try and make a claim to power.

In Vanguard Multiplayer, the H4 Blixen delivers a reliable three-shot kill at a farther range than the Owen Gun, albeit with a slower rate of fire. It also has three more bullets per standard magazine and slightly better Vertical Recoil Control, Aim Down Sight (ADS) speed, and reload quickness. The recoil pattern can take time to learn — like all weapons in Call of Duty — but knowing the H4 Blixen’s kick can make it more viable in those mid-range engagements, rather than just have it hold its own up close.

Multiple Mastercrafts Inbound

In-theme with Classified Arms, the Reloaded Bundles coming to the store include multiple Mastercrafts of Vanguard weapons.

Look for the Tracer Pack: High Voltage Reactive Mastercraft Bundle to kick off the season, which contains an electrifying Heroic “Stabistor” Sniper Rifle that is sure to send shock waves through your competition.

Also available this season is the Tracer Pack: Dark Aether Mastercraft Bundle, a Zombies-themed pack that should spark some excitement for the first round-based experience in Vanguard, coming soon. Wield the “Dark Jinx” SMG and witness its awesome Dark Aether Tracer powers, effective against both the living and the dead.

At the end of the season, more Mastercrafts will become available, including the Tracer Pack: Tread Lightly Mastercraft Bundle, which features prototype-themed weaponry.

There’s also a gaggle of new cosmetics incoming. Warzone is getting the Classified Arms Reloaded starts  tomorrow, which you can read about here. Once the full patch notes are out, we’ll update the post accordingly.

What is the lineup of games included with the all-new PlayStation Plus?

The new PlayStation Plus will launch with 700* titles across three membership plans. The curated content will include blockbuster hits such as Demon’s Souls, Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, NBA 2K 22, Red Dead Redemption 2, Returnal, and more. Here is a sample list we announced on PlayStation Blog. Titles may vary by local market, so be sure to check PlayStation.com for the game list when the new PlayStation Plus launches in your region.

I’m already a PlayStation Plus or PlayStation Now subscriber. What will happen with my membership?

Current PlayStation Plus members will transition to PlayStation Plus Essential, enjoying the same benefits that PlayStation Plus provides today, such as PS4 and PS5 monthly games, exclusive discounts, cloud storage for saved games, online multiplayer access, and more. There are no changes to the existing benefits you get from PlayStation Plus.

Existing PlayStation Now members will transition to PlayStation Plus Premium, with no increase to their current subscription fees at launch. For more information, please visit https://www.playstation.com/ps-plus/

Will PlayStation Plus and PlayStation Now still be available as standalone subscriptions?

When the new PlayStation Plus service launches, PlayStation Now will no longer be available as a standalone subscription service, and current PlayStation Now users will migrate to PlayStation Plus Premium.

For PlayStation Plus, benefits will remain the same in the first plan option, which is rebranded as PlayStation Plus Essential. Additional benefit plan options will be added, please see the above chart.

How often will new titles be introduced to the new PlayStation Plus service?

Games will continue to refresh monthly with the all-new PlayStation Plus service, so there is always something new to play. In keeping with our normal cadence for PlayStation Plus and PlayStation Now, the refreshes will occur twice monthly. Please check PlayStation.Blog for the latest monthly game announcements.

PlayStation Plus Essential

  • A monthly refresh will occur on the first Tuesday of the month for the PlayStation Plus Essential plan (and both higher tiers), with new PS4 and PS5 games every month – same as what PlayStation Plus members get today.

PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium/Deluxe

  • Another monthly refresh will occur in the middle of the month with new games across PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium/Deluxe plans. The number of games refreshed will vary per month.

What devices can I use to play games with the new PlayStation Plus membership?

The new PlayStation Plus is currently supported on the following devices:

  • PlayStation 5 console – streaming and game downloads
  • PlayStation 4 console – streaming and game downloads
  • PC – streaming only

PlayStation Plus monthly games that were previously downloaded on PS3 and PS Vita devices will continue to remain accessible as long as the user remains a PlayStation Plus member.

What games will I be able to stream or download on the new PlayStation Plus?

The ability to download or stream games on PlayStation Plus will depend on the plan benefit you choose, and the market location. Please see the list of market locations above that will launch with the PlayStation Plus Premium plan.

Downloading (PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium/Deluxe plans)

  • Original PlayStation, PSP, PS4 and PS5 games are available for download to play.
  • Remastered or remake versions of PS2 and PS3 games will also be downloadable for play on PS4 and PS5 consoles.

Streaming (PlayStation Plus Premium plan)

  • Original PlayStation, PS2, PS3, PS4 and PSP games are available for streaming through the Premium plan, available in select markets. This includes streaming access to titles from the games catalog offered in Extra and Premium plans.
  • Please note streaming access for some titles, including classic games, will occur after launch for the PlayStation Premium plan. Streaming availability may also vary by title. Streaming is also not available for PS5 titles.
  • Games can be streamed on PS4 and PS5 consoles and PC.

Monthly games from the Essential plan remain the same as downloadable games only.

Will original PlayStation and PSP games from the PlayStation Plus classic game catalog offer trophies?

Some original PlayStation and PSP titles may offer trophies such as Ape Escape, Hot Shots Golf, IQ Intelligent Qube, and Syphon Filter. This feature is optional for developers.

Can I transfer game progress from the time-limited game trials included in the PlayStation Plus Premium/Deluxe plan if I decide to buy the game?

Yes. Any trophies and game save data from the trial period will carry-forward if you purchase the game.

If I earned trophies after trying out a time-limited game trial title through PlayStation Plus Premium/Deluxe, and decide not to buy the title, can I still keep my trophies?

Trophies earned during your time-limited game trial through the PlayStation Plus Premium/Deluxe plan will remain on your PSN profile, even after you complete the trial and decide not to purchase the title. If you decide to purchase the title at a later time, you can continue to earn trophies where you left off.

Will game progress from the PlayStation Plus games catalog be transferred between PS4 and PS5 consoles if I choose to finish the game on a different device?

If you are playing a downloaded game from the PlayStation Plus games catalog, the save data will be saved to your PS4 or PS5 console, depending on the console you are playing on. You can manually upload your game save to PlayStation Plus cloud storage and download it to either a PS4 or PS5 console.

If you are a PlayStation Plus Premium member and you are streaming a game from the PlayStation Plus games catalog, the saved data will be automatically stored within the PlayStation Plus Game Streaming Storage and you can pick up and stream on another device without taking any additional steps.

Will DLC and add-ons work with downloaded games from the PlayStation Plus catalog?

Yes. You can purchase DLC and add-on content for the games you download from the games catalog through PlayStation Plus. If your membership expires, or if the content leaves the service you’ll also lose access to the DLC and add-on content associated with that game. Once you resubscribe to the service or decide to purchase the title, you’ll be able to use your purchased DLC and add-on content again.

Please note, DLC and add-on content is not supported when streaming a title.

When I’m offline, can I play games I’ve downloaded from the games catalog offered in PlayStation Plus Extra or Premium/Deluxe?

Yes. However, when playing a downloaded game from the game catalog in PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium/Deluxe plans, you’ll need to connect to PSN every seven days to validate your PlayStation Plus membership and maintain your access to the game.

Please note, this step is only required for game catalog titles in the PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium/Deluxe plans. It does not apply to the monthly downloadable games available through PlayStation Plus Essential.

With this service change, will I have to redownload any games that were previously acquired via PlayStation Plus and PlayStation Now?

For PlayStation Plus games you have previously redeemed to your PSN account, those games will still remain as part of your game library as long as you are a PlayStation Plus member. There are no changes to your PlayStation Plus benefits.

For games you’ve previously downloaded from PlayStation Now’s game catalog, if the titles are also available for PlayStation Plus, you can continue to play and your progress will continue to save. Similar to PlayStation Now, if the content is no longer offered on PlayStation Plus, you won’t be able to access the titles when they leave the service. If the title is available on PlayStation Store and you decide to purchase it, you’ll be able to access your save data again – just make sure you don’t delete your saved data.

When this transition takes place, are there any titles previously available to stream or download via PlayStation Now that are not available with the all-new PlayStation Plus?

The game catalog offered through PlayStation Now will continually change up to the transition of the all-new PlayStation Plus game catalog offering. PlayStation.com will be updated with the game catalog lineup when the new PlayStation Plus launches in your region.

What’s the difference between playing a downloaded game and a streamed version of the same game through the PlayStation Plus Premium plan?

Games downloaded from the all new PlayStation Plus games catalog can run locally on your PS4 or PS5 console at their native graphic quality and sound output modes, so the quality can increase up to 4K if the title, console, and your TV supports it. Downloaded games with PS VR support are also playable using your PS VR system.

Additionally, some online features, such as add-ons and online mode, will only be accessible through the downloaded version of the game.

The PlayStation Plus Premium plan offers streaming in select markets, with resolution options up to 1080p. The quality will vary depending on your internet speeds and bandwidth, requiring a minimum of 5 mbps or 15 mbps for 1080p.

What are the minimum requirements to stream games through the PlayStation Plus Premium plan on PC?

  • Windows 7 (SP 1), 8.1 or 10
  • Core i3 2.0 GHz
  • 300 MB of available storage
  • 2 GB of RAM
  • Sound card; USB port

However for optimal performance, the following specs are recommended:

  • Windows 7 (SP 1), 8.1 or 10
  • 3.5 GHz Intel Core i3 or 3.8 GHz AMD A10 or faster
  • 300 MB or more of available storage
  • 2 GB or more of RAM
  • Sound card; USB port

What controllers can I use to play games streamed on PC through the PlayStation Plus Premium plan?

DualShock 4 will be compatible with games streamed through the PlayStation Plus games catalog on PC.

CoD Vanguard & Warzone Classified Arms Reloaded Changes Detailed; Mid-Season Update Arrives May 24 & 25

Call of Duty players have a ton to look forward to later this week, as Activision has unveiled the changes coming to CoD Vanguard & Warzone Classified Arms Releoaded! The update will be covered in the two titles, with Vanguard set for May 24 and Warzone the next day, May 25. Check out a rundown of the changes below.

CoD Vanguard & Warzone Classified Arms Reloaded Changes:

Here’s the tl;dr version of the highlights incoming this week!

Updates to Warzone include:

  • Three new items to the loot pool in Battle Royale modes: the Gulag Entry Token, Redeploy Extraction Token and Speed Boost
  • New Field Upgrade – the Radar Jammer

Updates to Vanguard include:

  • New Operator for Task Force Harpy – Kim Tae Young
  • New Weapon – H4 Blixen SMG
  • New Bundle – Spilled Ink Bundle, curated and designed by top tattoo artists

  • At the end of the season, more Mastercrafts will become available, including the Tracer Pack: Tread Lightly Mastercraft Bundle, which features prototype-themed weaponry.

Warzone: Navigating Caldera’s New Mine Cart Underground Transit System

Remember that rumbling and creaking beneath Caldera’s surface before Season Three’s launch? Those were the rickety mine carts being rediscovered by intrepid explorers, who were busy opening a new way to get around the island!

Developed by Toys for Bob, this new Underground Transit System features 14 access points, indicated on the Tac Map and minimap by a silver “vault door” symbol.

Keen surveyors of Caldera during Season Two already know where seven of these access points are, as they are the “hidden” Nebula 5 bunkers. The door to the mine-cart hub room can be found right after dropping into each bunker.

The other seven access points are small hatches into the mine-cart hub area. Here, you can find a map of the system, with each hub location corresponding to a letter and number on your Tac Map. Lower numbers indicate areas to the north — for example, the hub near Arsenal is B1 — while higher numbers (e.g., B14) are hub areas near southern points of interest (e.g., Resort).

To travel via mine cart to another hub area, simply interact with the circular hatch and walk toward the cart. When doing so, the destination name will appear on your screen — you can also check the map to see how it interacts. After a few seconds of travel time, you’ll instantly appear at your destination . . . Hopefully with no enemies waiting on the other side.

New Items in Warzone — Gulag Entry, Redeploy Extraction and More

  • Gulag Entry Token – The Hold’s owners love to see good fights, apparently, as they are putting special Gulag Entry Tokens in Supply Boxes for Battle Royale matches. Developed by Raven, this token brandishes the infamous post-death symbol and binds to your Operator on pickup. Only one can be carried at a time, and if one is picked up or kept after the Gulag is closed, you’ll receive Cash compensation for holding one.
  • Redeploy Extraction Token – The other token – also developed by Raven – is something that Warzone veterans may be familiar with — a token that grants an automatic redeploy without any need to visit the Gulag or to be bought back at a Buy Station. – Just like the Gulag Entry Token, this one also deactivates once the Hold shuts down late in a match, and players who hold on to it for that long receive a Cash prize as compensation.
  • Speed Boost – This buff, often found in Warzone’s Clash mode, is another rare item that could appear in a Supply Box. – Once it is picked up, it will automatically grant the Operator a temporary movement buff. Sliding while having this boost grants a quick way around the map, and it allows for a ton of potential movement techniques, such as parkour lines and jumps, which can help before or during engagements.
  • Radar Jammer – Similar to how this tool works in Call of Duty® Multiplayer, the Radar Jammer is a Field Upgrade that scrambles the TacMap of enemy players and prevents Killstreaks for anyone within a short radius. – This Field Upgrade cannot be equipped for modes such as Plunder, but can be found around the map in Supply Boxes or on the ground in rare cases.

High Value, High Stakes — New High Value Loot Zones in Warzone

First introduced during Operation Monarch, High Value Loot Zones will now appear in standard Battle Royale games as high-risk, high-reward places to drop or travel to.

Check your Tac Map or minimap to see where these areas are and decide whether to set a course for fortune and frequent fighting.

Champion of Caldera — A New Warzone Limited-Time Mode

This year could arguably be a strong one for Warzone solo players, with Rebirth Resurgence Solos being a fast-paced variant of the traditional Battle Royale free-for-all, and Caldera Clash being an awesome place to level up weapons.

With Classified Arms Reloaded, Solo players will get another high-intensity limited-time mode and – as the name suggests – fight to become the Champion of Caldera.

Launching on the first day of Classified Arms Reloaded, Champion of Caldera features 150 maximum players and a single, continuously closing circle in a Battle Royale-style fight for survival.

All Operators will drop in with their Custom Loadout, a Gas Mask, and a single Redeploy Extraction Token. The item pool is slightly altered to emphasize equipment not normally found in Loadouts and Epic- to Legendary-rarity weapons. Collect Cash to visit an upgraded Buy Station, which features the Advanced UAV, Explosive Bow, and even the Specialist Bonus for a hefty fee.

Rebirth Island Updates: Occupation Scans Active, [[REDACTED]] Protocols to Begin

Occupation Scan In-Game Event

Unbeknownst to us, upgrading the island to include radar towers gave the powers-that-be the ability to scan for hostile forces.

At some point during standard Rebirth Resurgence matches, Operators may be alerted of an Occupation Scan. At this point, they will need to go prone or else their position will be revealed to every other player on the Tac Map and minimap.

Although this effect lasts for only a short period of time, and ends early if the Operator perishes, the Occupation Scan should keep everyone even more alert on an island from which they may need to escape . . .

MEMORANDIUM FOR ALL OPERATORS

SUBJECT: GEN [[REDACTED]] COMMENTS ON OPERATION: REINFORCED

Operators – as noted during our assignment briefing, our goals in the Aral Sea were to reinforce the stronghold known to civilians as Rebirth Island.

As you know, our orders were to construct weapon lockers for boots-on-the-ground defenses, install radar towers for early threat detection, clear the DZ for armored vehicles, and unlock the “golden bunkers” kept sealed for several decades.

Given those parameters, our 60-day assignment could be considered a success. However, we are now aware that at least some of these upgrades to our defenses have been compromised.

On [[REDACTED]], Agents [[REDACTED NAMES]] informed us of hostile forces hacking into radar towers to perform occupation scans. Information on these scans have now been declassified after we confirmed leaks to civilian media, to be embargoed for release on May 23 at 1000 Hours in the interest of public safety.

Although there are no physical threats detected, we are led to believe that mercenary forces, currently stationed at [[REDACTED]] may be contracted shortly to attack our Alliance on Rebirth Island.

Head underground and you’ll be greeted by the Mine, Concrete Tunnels, Workshop, and the central Lab, where Operators can flood in from all sides.

Kim Tae Young Completes Task Force Harpy

The masked fighter and folk hero Kim Tae Young is deploying just in time to link up with her squadmates Mateo and Florence, complete with her own 20-level Operator XP progression that leads to several Operator Skin unlocks and other rewards.

Trained by her mother as a fighter, Tae Young donned a mask to conceal her identity while helping families cross the North Korean border to safety. She soon earned a reputation among the Korean people as a local folk hero and keeper of justice. Even the briefest glimpse of her Dokkaebi mask instills hope in her people and fear in her enemies.

Her preferred weapon is the new H4 Blixen – use it while playing as Kim Tae Young to gain bonus Operator XP and Weapon XP for this weapon.

Spilled Ink Bundle Highlights Classified Arms Reloaded Store Offerings

Whether your Operator wants new ink or Mastercrafts, the Bundles in Classified Arms Reloaded have you covered. Here’s a taste of Store Bundles on offer:

Spilled Ink — Curated and Designed by Top Tattoo Artists

Ryan Ashley. Nikko Hurtado. Scott Campbell and the Scab Shop.

These world-renowned tattoo artists create phenomenal body artwork — and have come together to provide three unique Operator Skin pieces for Lucas Riggs through the Spilled Ink Bundle, available later this season.

Who knows? Maybe it’ll give you some inspiration for your next IRL design; just know that if it isn’t done by these three masters of ink, it won’t be a masterpiece.

This Bundle also contains the new “Tattoo Infection” Assault Rifle and “Tattoo Machine” SMG Weapon Blueprints.

The “Tattoo Machine” SMG is built for fast-paced CQB, with a Recoil Booster and an increased-caliber magazine. On its own, it serves as a strong close-quarters option in both Warzone and Vanguard.

The same could be said for the “Tattoo Infection” Assault Rifle, although it leans more toward solo modes in Warzone and longshots in Vanguard Multiplayer. The .30 Carbine short magazines combined with the Ragdoll Barrel make for a weapon with better damage at range, and the rest of the build is great for staying on target.

There you have it. As usual, remember to stay tuned here at MP1st for the complete patch notes once the new updates for CoD Vanguard and Warzone drop tomorrow, May 24, and May 25.

Sniper Elite 5 Spotlight Video Explores ‘The Art of Stealth’

Using a high-powered long-ranged weapon always needs discretion, and the Sniper Elite 5 spotlight video explores that notion in ‘The Art of Stealth!’ Check out the latest trailer for the upcoming game below.

Besides the spotlight video, here are a few more details on stealth in Sniper Elite 5:

Paul Biddiss, the military advisor and action coordinator for a number of high-profile movies and TV shows, provided his expertise to the Sniper Elite 5 development team as well as being the motion capture artist for Karl Fairburne, helping to ensure the highest possible level of authenticity to his movements and takedowns. Speaking about his involvement in the game Paul said: “All the takedowns are realistic to the training that was given to SOE operatives… everything is realistic. There is no embellishment.”

The new video also gives details of the other stealthy options open to Karl including new traversal mechanics which open up hidden areas of the maps as well as giving the player alternative routes to approach their objectives. The player will also have to consider the audible distance of both their weapon and ammo when taking a shot if they want to remain undetected.

For Sniper Elite 5 the player will have a host of non-lethal options at their disposal including the ability to incapacitate the enemy with non-lethal takedowns and ammunition. These options provide the player with even greater scope to approach each mission and game scenario in a way that best suits their playstyle and their objective.

Sniper Elite 5 will release simultaneously on Xbox Game Pass, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, PS5, Steam and the Windows Store on May 26, 2022. In case you missed it, check out the kill cam trailer for the game here.

Diablo Immortal Asia Release Date Set for June 23; Dedicated Servers for SEA Announced

As Blizzard is gearing up for one of their top releases for this year, the publisher has revealed the Diablo Immortal release date for the Asia region, as well as revealing that the Southeast Asia subset will receive its own dedicated regional game servers. Coming June 23, the free-to-play MMOARPG (Massively Multiplayer Online Action Role-Playing Game) will be available in several countries in the region. Check out the full details below.

First off, here are the Asian countries where Diablo Immortal will be available on both PC, iOS, and Android devices:

  • Hong Kong
  • Indonesia
  • Macao
  • Malaysia
  • The Philippines
  • Singapore
  • Taiwan
  • Thailand

In addition to those countries, PC players in Vietnam can also play the game, but the mobile versions for iOS and Android in the same country will not be available. Players who have already pre-registered across all platforms will receive the stunning Horadrim Cosmetic Set when the game launches.

Besides the Asia release date announcement, here are some more details on Diablo Immortal:

Diablo Immortal supports both cross-play and cross-progression, allowing Sanctuary’s heroes to join the fight with each other regardless of platform while being able to seamlessly transition between mobile and PC gameplay.

With the fate of Sanctuary in their hands, players will choose between six iconic Diablo classes – Barbarian, Crusader, Demon Hunter, Monk, Necromancer, or Wizard – and embark on a journey through eight unique zones and the great city of Westmarch. They will join up with new and familiar Diablo characters, including the franchise’s patriarch Deckard Cain, on an expansive quest to hunt down the shattered pieces of the corrupted Worldstone before the forces of the Burning Hells can gather them for their own sinister plans in an epic all-new story taking place between the events of Diablo II and Diablo III.

Diablo Immortal features a MMOARPG (Massively Multiplayer Online Action Role-Playing Game) social experience that’s completely new to the series. Players will share a massive world with others as they explore Sanctuary, form Warbands with up to eight members to take on group challenges such as the intense Helliquary raid bosses, and join Clans with up to 150 friends to earn challenging Clan Achievements.

The game also features a robust faction-based PvP system. With the Cycle of Strife, players can band together to fight in an ongoing war in which the top player of the server will earn the Eternal Crown to become the leader of the Immortals. This puts them in the position of having to continuously defend their reign across a series of modes including brutal 1v30 showdowns.

Diablo Immortal is coming on June 23 to the Asia region for mobile devices and PC. Globally, the game will enter open beta on June 2, and you can read more about it here.
