Street Fighter 6 Update 1.000.021 Adds Sagat, Along With New Swimsuit Outfits

A new Street Fighter 6 update (1.000.021 on consoles) is now available to download, and this is a major update as it adds Sagat to the roster, and some new in-game activities.

That’s not all, either, as this update also adds new purchasable swimsuit outfits for some of the characters.

Street Fighter 6 Update 1.000.021 Adds a Familiar Face

Sagat is now available in Street Fighter 6, along with his combo trials and arcade story mode. As part of the 1.21 update, there are several battle changes, which you can read about on the official Street Fighter 6 website.

But Sagat isn’t the only new content that came with this update, as Outfit 4, or as most people know it, the Swimsuit pack, is now live, adding new outfits for Jamie, Chun-Li, Cammy, Manon, A.K.I., Kimberly, and Luke.

Fighting fans are eating good with the swimsuit outfits today, as Tekken 8 also released a batch of Summer-themed swimsuits earlier today. I wonder what game will be next?

Neon Abyss 2 Interview: Multiplying the Chaos with Co-op

With Neon Abyss 2 now out in early access, a highly requested multiplayer mode has finally arrived, bringing a new level of chaos to the beloved rogue-like.

We sat down with Lans Wang, Creative Director of Neon Abyss, to discuss the journey of bringing this co-op experience to the sequel. We ask the developer about its early access launch, the long-term plans, development process, and more.

“When it Came Time to Think About a Sequel, Multiplayer Was Front and Center in Our Vision”

So I suppose we should kick this interview off with the very pitch that got us here: Why introduce multiplayer with the sequel, rather than stick solely with being a single-player?

Lans Wang: Multiplayer was by far the most requested feature from our incredible Neon Abyss 1 community. We had so many players reach out post-launch asking if co-op was possible or planned and, truthfully, it was something that we wanted, too. But the original game’s code structure just didn’t support it. So, when it came time to think about a sequel, multiplayer was front and center in our vision. This also wasn’t something we just wanted to add, it became the core of why we wanted to revisit the Abyss. We wanted to keep everything players loved about the original and then go even further: make it a shared experience, multiply the chaos, and make it more replayable with friends.

From the studio’s perspective, can you tell us how multiplayer is taking the series to greater heights?

Lans Wang: Multiplayer has transformed the Abyss from a personal challenge into a shared adventure. It brings a whole new level of strategy, unpredictability, and hilarity. In Neon Abyss 2, playing with up to three friends creates opportunities for team synergy, on-the-fly tactics, and, of course, ABSOLUTE chaos.

With multiple Agents, builds get more diverse. The game thrives on unpredictability, and multiplayer enhances that tenfold.

It’s been so wonderful to have this echoed in the feedback we have received from our community as well!

The first Neon Abyss is pretty beloved. Of course, bringing in multiplayer has probably shifted the studio’s thinking and approach for the sequel, but what have been some of the challenges in ensuring the sequel is still everything you loved about the first, only you can now play it with friends?

Lans Wang: Absolutely, preserving the core feeling that our community value and wanted was critical. We loved the chaotic item synergies and rogue-like tension, we didn’t want to lose any of that. This is one reason for our Early Access launch – ensuring that the community continue to have a say in what the Abyss looks like.

But multiplayer introduced real technical and design challenges. We had to rebuild much of the game’s foundation to allow for smoother content updates and online infrastructure. Readability was another huge challenge; four players, each with their own weapons, Hatchmons, and effects, it can get wild fast. We’ve added options like trimming UI clutter and adjusting visual noise to help, and we’ll continue to work with the community to have a good balance here.

However, at every turn we’ve kept the spirit intact: that joyful mayhem when you discover a new combo or barely survive a boss together was so important

.

Specifically, how has the studio tackled the balancing act between the single-player and multiplayer experiences? Are there any mechanics or systems that behave fundamentally differently when playing solo versus with a full squad, to ensure both modes feel equally rewarding and fair?

We wanted both modes to feel rewarding and complete on their own. The core systems such as item synergies, Hatchmon hatching, Faith alignment, are consistent between solo and multiplayer, but we’ve fine-tuned certain elements for balance. For example, minigames scale depending on the number of players (more balls in volleyball, etc.), and damage scaling for enemies and bosses adjusts accordingly. Visual effects are also more restrained in co-op to maintain clarity. Faith Temples and loot dynamics are built to feel impactful whether you’re strategizing solo or coordinating with friends. Our goal is to let both playstyles shine without compromising either.

Beyond just “playing with friends,” what specific gameplay experiences or design opportunities did introducing multiplayer unlock that weren’t possible in single-player?

Lans Wang: Co-op unlocks a ton of new gameplay layers. With more people playing the chaotic synergy outcomes become things you’d never see alone. Boss fights feel more intense with group coordination, especially with the new randomized boss traits, the fights are harder to predict, so you need to think on your feet!

Additionally, and probably most crucially, multiplayer has allowed our ever-present community that we are so grateful for to play together. We have so many people who have been playing Neon Abyss since day 1 and it’s so fun to see them enjoy this new chapter!

“More Than Anything, We Want Players to Know That We Are Listening”

Given that Neon Abyss 2 has launched into Early Access, what are your goals for this stretch of development? How will player feedback be integrated into the development of the new multiplayer features, and what measures are you taking to ensure the community feels truly heard and involved?

Lans Wang: Early Access is a crucial part of our development roadmap. We’re treating it as an active collaboration with the community. Feedback from the first game taught us so much, and we’re applying that same approach here.

We monitor Steam Discussions, Discord channels, social media, and more. Bugs, balance suggestions, and feature requests are logged and prioritized. We’re also tracking multiplayer-specific data: how people play, where they drop off, and what systems cause friction. We’ve structured our backend to make implementing changes much faster than before, so if players ask for it and it makes sense, we can deliver it quickly.

We’ve also deployed a dedicated Beta branch that has its own updates. While it can be more unstable than the default branch, our community of playtesters have been instrumental in providing additional testing there. More than anything, we want players to know that we are listening, and whatever platform you want to give feedback on, we want to hear it.

Are there any specific experimental features or mechanics that the team is particularly excited to test and iterate on with the community during Early Access, especially those that are unique to the multiplayer experience?

Lans Wang: Definitely. One area we’re excited about is expanding the Faith system. We’re also keeping a close eye on Hatchmon fusion mechanics in co-op: how do companion evolutions behave when different players contribute to the conditions? We have some experimental weapons and synergy effects planned that are absolutely wild that we can’t wait for our players to unleash. We’ve already had great feedback about their scaling and fun factor in co-op, and we want to push that further. Community creativity is key to this phase.

The first game came to consoles. Of course, there are a lot of factors that will determine whether the sequel comes to consoles, but assuming everything goes well, are there intentions of exploring that possibility down the road?

Lans Wang: Yes, console ports are absolutely in our long-term plans. Right now, our focus is on making the Steam Early Access launch as strong as possible. The first game found great success on consoles, and we are keen for the sequel to follow that path. We’ve also taken steps early, like optimizing for Steam Deck, so that we can ensure the game scales well to other platforms.

Beyond the Early Access period, what is the long-term vision for Neon Abyss 2? Do you envision continued content updates, new game modes, or even further expansions that build upon the multiplayer foundation?

Lans Wang: Absolutely. We see Neon Abyss 2 as a platform we can continue growing. Our long-term vision includes new Agents, Faiths, weapons, Hatchmons, and bosses, as well as additional game modes, events, and a couple exciting twists we haven’t revealed yet.

We’ve built the backend to be expandable, which was a big lesson from the first game. Multiplayer adds so many new creative opportunities and we’re eager to explore them all with the community’s help.

Is there anything you would like to add or say to the community to close off this interview?

Lans Wang: Just… thank you. From the bottom of our hearts, we wouldn’t be here without the amazing community that supported the first game and is now embracing Neon Abyss 2 with open arms. We’ve already been blown away by your creativity, feedback, and passion.

Keep the wild builds coming, keep sharing your stories, and know that we’re right here with you, playing, listening, and building the next chapter of the Abyss together.

That concludes our interview! We’d like to thank Lans Wang for taking the time out of their busy schedule for this interview, as well as all the PR team that got us connected. We look forward to see ing how Neon Abyss 2 continues to evolve as it continues on through its early access.

For those interested, you can hop into the co-op chaos on PC through early access on Steam.

Battlefield 6: Spawn Beacon Now Assigned to Assault Class, as Recon Also Gets Major Adjustments Before the Beta Even Starts

With the Battlefield 6 open beta client now available for pre-load, DICE is opening up the line of communication regarding some of the design decisions they’re making from Battlefield Labs to Battlefield 6.

For those unfamiliar with BF Labs, it’s a testing branch of the game where DICE can see feedback, apply changes, and test them with real players in a closed environment. The developers have shared details on some of the changes they’ve made from BF Labs to the open beta, and there are some major ones made due to player feedback already.

Battlefield 6’s Assault Class Gets the Spawn Beacon in Class Shakeup

In a new announcement on the Battlefield Communications X account, the developers shared details on the map changes they’ve made, alongside the learnings from Battlefield Labs. One thing that caught our eye is how DICE is moving the spawn beacon gadget from the Recon class, which usually had it, to the Assault class who is usually in the forefront of engagements.

Based on DICE’s wording, the changes regarding classes won’t be felt in the open beta, but at launch, and the studio is making it know to players now that there major changes in the works.

The Assault class is undergoing a major rework in terms of gadgets and traits.

Key Changes to Assault Class:

Adrenaline Injector Rework

  • Old: Focused on self-healing and sustain.

  • New: Now boosts resistance to flash/stun effects, improves explosive/fire damage tolerance, and increases movement speed.

Impact: This reduces pure survivability in favor of tactical utility and push power, encouraging Assault players to lead charges or break through chokepoints with their squad in tow.

New Trait – Commanding Presence

  • Effect:

    • Speeds up objective capture for nearby squadmates.

    • Reduces time to exit combat status.

Strategic Value: Reinforces the Assault’s role as the vanguard in objective play. Squad positioning around the Assault now matters, directly benefiting from proximity.

Deploy Beacon Now Part of Assault

  • Change: Moved from Recon to Assault; renamed from Spawn Beacon.

  • Limitations:

    • Finite uses per squad.

    • Self-destructs if the Assault player respawns on it.

Rationale:

  • Prevents exploitative solo sniper behavior (say goodbye to snipers putting spawn beacons on top of building just to snipe nonstop)

  • Encourages tactical team-based redeployments for flanking, breaching, and coordinated objective pushes.

New Gadget – Assault Ladder

  • Functionality: Deployable as a ladder or ramp based on angle.

  • Uses:

    • Grants vertical access.

    • Enables creative flanks.

    • Opens up new map areas for team movement.

This is a standout addition—giving the Assault class the means to reshape map flow and offer spatial advantages to the team.

While the Engineer and Support classes largely remain unchanged, the Recon class is also getting a few key adjustments.

Battlefield 6 Recon Changes Applied Based on Feedback from BF Labs

DICE states they see the Recon class as someone who sabotages the enemy team and spreads disinformation. The class’ “Pathfinder” Training Class is being replaced with the Spec Ops, which focuses on stedalth, explosive-focused class that was last seen in Battlefield 2.

Per DICE, “This is the path for anyone who wants to take on the stealth function of their squad, providing them with insights on troop movement while quietly operating behind enemy lines:”

  • Spec Ops 0: Your base class training, available from the start and allows quieter takedowns, crouch and prone movement.
  • Spec Ops 1: Spots nearby enemy gadgets (except when sprinting).
  • Spec Ops 2: Going prone takes you out of combat much faster and removes the spot on self.

Additionally, the Recon class has an Active Ability at Level 3 that lets you call in a UAV to a marked position for passive spotting for the entire team.  When you couple that with the Recon’s Signature Trait, “Aim Spotting,” which automatically spots enemies while you’re aiming down sights (ADS). the class should provide more to the team than just sniping.

It’s impressive to see that DICE is doing this before the general public gets to lay its hands on the game; it speaks volumes to the change in the way the studio communicates to its player base.

The chance to try Battlefield 6 won’t be long now, as the pre-load for the open beta kicks off, and you can check the download links, schedules and more in our handy guide.

Ark Survival Ascended’s Latest Update Version 1.069.011 Increases Mod Storage Size

Studo Wildcard has pushed a new Ark Survival Ascended update on what appears to be just for the PS5, and it’s for version 1.069.011. This is a minor patch that focuses on mods, and doesn’t bring in any new content.

Alongside today’s changes, we’ve also included the hotfix released server-side a few days ago, that has some technical and gameplay fixes.

Ark Survival Ascended on PS5 Increases Mod Storage via Patch 1.069.011

Ark Survival Ascended New Update 1.067.027

v69.11 – Minor version for PlayStation Clients – 08/04/2025

  • Increased mod storage size on PlayStation by 10GB (from 20GB to 30GB).

That’s the complete changelog for today, but a few days ago, Studio Wildcard has also released a few changes via server-side too.

v69.18 – Minor version for Servers – 08/01/2025

  • Restricted access to structure inventory if the player is in the mesh. This should prevent cheaters from accessing storage from inside the mesh. Official server only, or use -enablelosinteractioncheck on unofficial servers.
  • Fixed an issue where the player is sometimes killed when teleporting while riding a creature.
  • Prevented character transfer if a build template is active (Clipboard and Hammer). This is a temporary measure to avoid issues with uploaded character loss whilst we work on a more robust fix.
    • Temporarily disabled auto-decay to minimize player loss while we iterate on a fix for uploading character with an active build template.

Don’t be surprised to see another Ark Survival Ascended patch reelased within the week by the devs to fix any lingering bugs affecting players.

How to Find and Download the Battlefield 6 Open Beta for PS5 on PSN

It’s August 4, and that means those with early access for the Battlefield 6 open beta can now preload the client! While publisher Electronic Arts has outlined the method on how to find it and initiate the download, but if you’re on PS5, chances are, it’s not working.

We tried EA’s method for accessing the BF6 open beta client to no avail, but don’t fret – there is a surefire way to initiate the download, provided you’re eligible for early access, of course.

How to Start the Battlefield 6 Open Beta Download on PS5

EA’s method is as follows:

The EA Account associated with the email you’ve used to register for Battlefield Labs should have access, and all you need to do is link it to the EA app, Xbox, PlayStation Store or Steam account linked to corresponding EA account.

To find the beta, EA says:

  • Visit your platform’s store on your console or PC (Xbox, PlayStation, Steam, or EA App)
  • In the search bar, type Battlefield 6 Open Beta
  • Once located, download Battlefield 6 Open Beta

Here’s how to link your account:

However, if that doesn’t work, which it hasn’t for us, since we couldn’t find the Battlefield 6 open beta client on the PlayStation Store no matter how many times we tried, there is another way.

  1. Use a web browser
  2. Login/signin to your EA Account
  3. Hit the “Pre-load” blue button which is pictured below:
  4. Select the platform you want to play the beta on
  5. Hit “add to library”
  6. Intiate download to PSN on your PS5 via the browser on PS5 or go to Library section and click download

We tried this method and can guarantee it works! The Battlefield 6 open beta client clocks in at 33.9 GB on PS5, so make sure you have enough disk space before downloading it so it doesn’t error out.

If all else fails, just go directly to the links below:

For the full schedule, rewards and more, head on over to our info article about the BF6 open beta.

For console players, we got confirmation that you’ll be able to use mouse and keyboard as an input method.

Battlefield 6 officially arrives on October 10, 2025, ont the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

F1 25 Latest Update on Aug. 4 Rolls Out as Version 1.10/1.010

Codemasters has released a new update download for racing sim F1 25 on all platforms, and this is an unannounced patch, so don’t expect anything major from it.

Console gamers will see this as the F1 25 update version 1.10/1.010 patch, and it should be a small download across all platforms.

F1 25 Update on August 4 Now Live

F1 25 update 1.010

Unfortunately, Codemasters has not acknowledged today’s patch for some odd reason. We’ve listed the known issues the dev team is looking into, which includes the confirmed fixes that are scheduled to be released via a hotfix patch. Chances are high that these are the fixes implemented today.

AWAITING PATCH

  • Planned for a hotfix patch:
    • Career | Unable to progress past Driver Ratings Update screen in Two-Player Career
      • Note from Dev: Thank you for your patience as we worked to identify the problem with this issue. A hotfix for this will be released early next week. More info about this can be found here
  • Planned for later Patch:
    • Tracks | Monaco ‘Two-Stop’ not being applied correctly in certain circumstances
    • UI | Unable freely to move some OSD elements
    • UI | Time left in session UI appears incorrectly

Aside from that list, Codemasters is also investigating a bigger set of issues.

INVESTIGATING

  • Audio | Engineer refers to drivers as the wrong names
  • Graphics | Incorrect specular highlight in drivers eyes (PC Only)
  • Graphics | Light under wheels in Photo Mode when Path Tracing is enabled
  • Misc. | Canada, Belgium, Britain tyre allocations incorrect vs. real-life
  • Misc. Some Iconic Edition players yet to receive their F1 TV Pro Codes (US Only)
    • Note from Dev: Whilst most eligible players have received their codes, we are looking to generate a number of additional F1 TV Pro codes for those who pre-ordered the Iconic Edition in the US. We will look to share an update soon. This code will also be displayed on your EA Account under Profile > Payment and Wallet > Offers and Promotions.
  • Multiplayer | Host disadvantage at ‘lights out’
  • Stability | Crashes when using DLSS with triple-screens (PC Only)
    • Workaround: When using triple screens, please disable DLSS for the time being. We are being supported by NVIDIA to resolve this problem.
  • Stability | Game crashes on PC
    • ❗Note from Dev: If you are still having issues after following our PC troubleshooting guide, please consider logging a new bug with report codes and as much information as possible. This will allow the team to investigate thoroughly.
    • ❗Note from Dev: Users on AMD Radeon RX 9000 Series graphics cards should update to Adrenaline 25.5.1 drivers.

The latest acknowledged patch for the game was released last week, which added the McLaren x Google Chrome Livery.

If anything changes regarding the patch’s changelog, we’ll update the article.

Battlefield 6 Keyboard & Mouse Input for Consoles Confirmed; Target Framerates on All Consoles and Crossplay Explained

For those who prefer a keyboard and mouse control method in shooters but prefer the convenience of playing on consoles, DICE has you covered in Battlefield 6. The developers have confirmed that BF6 will feature keyboard and mouse support for consoles.

This was something that was spotted in Battlefield Labs before, but it wasn’t working as intended then, which led people to assume that the studio was still debating whether to allow it or not.

Thankfully, all questions about that have been put to bed.

Battlefield 6 KB/M Controller Support for Consoles Confirmed

DICE Producer Alexia Christofi confirmed keyboard and mouse control for consoles over on X/Twitter, where they told a fan they “have it” when asked if there’s MnK support for consoles.

In addition to confirming mouse and keyboard input on consoles, DICE has also confirmed the standard frame rate players can expect as well. In a video chat, Battlefield 6 game designer Florian Le Bihan shared that they are guaranteeing 60 frames-per-second on consoles (PS5, Xbox Series X|S), and it might even go higher in Performance mode.

Le Bihan said (via ) “Optimization has been one of the most important things for Battlefield. We want a game that runs on all configurations, whether PC or PS5/Series” Le Bihan added, “We put a lot of effort into optimization, and “We guarantee 60fps on console in all experiences, even a little higher with performance mode.”

It’s been said previously that for the PS5 Pro. Battlefield 6 will run at 120fps, though standard console owners shouldn’t expect that, of course. Even so, having the game run at a consistent 60fps (or more) with all the destruction, vehicles, infantry, and whatnot, I’d take that.

Battlefield 6 Console Crossplay Explained

When it comes to crossplay for Battlefield 6, while there won’t be a console-only crossplay option (at least at launch), DICE has implemented the next best thing. Christofi explained that for console matchmaking, it will prioritize console players from both PS5 and Xbox Series X|S before picking players from the PC pool.

Christofi explained, “it’s crossplay on or off – but if crossplay is on we treat it as console preferred crossplay, so we’ll try and matchmake you with others playing on console before falling back to full crossplay if we can’t find you a match with only/mostly console players.”

This should be a good compromise for players who prefer matching with console players, mostly. Not only do PC players have an advantage with aiming using a mouse & keyboard, but the chances of people cheating are infinitely higher on PC given the platform’s open nature. I assume that DICE will lump console KB/M players together with PC players and utilize input-based matchmaking.

In other Battlefield 6 news, DICE has acknowledged the server browser concerns and believes their solution will answer the top requests from players.

Battlefield 6 will launch on October 10 on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC, and its open beta kicks off this week! Check out our primer for it to get you started.

We also have a breakdown of the Battlefield 6 classes’ abilities, signature traits, and more. which should prove useful if you plan on playing the beta.

Stellar Blade Gets Surprise Patch on the Weekend via Update 1.013 on PS5 and PC

While Shift Up usually releases updates for Stellar Blade on a Tuesday or Thursday, the studio has released a surprise patch for the action game on both PS5 and PC,

PS5 players will see this as Stellar Blade update version 1.013 (ver. 1.013.000) , while on PC, players will see it as version 1.3.0.

Given the game’s already feature-complete, and the studio is hard at work on a sequel, don’t expect any new features for this outside of fixes. However, we did get a free gift last month, so there is still the possibility that Shift Up has more planned for the game.

Stellar Blade’s Latest Update Brings It to Version 1.013/1.3.0

Stellar Blade Update 1.005

Here are the confirmed list of fixes by Shift Up:

  • Improved Photo Mode so that when selecting a logo, the logo control indicator is now displayed.
  • Fixed an issue where players were unable to exit the shop after purchasing the ‘Polarized Sunglasses’ from Clyde’s shop.
  • Fixed an issue where Eve’s hair would not appear during the final Elder Naytiba cutscene when wearing the ‘Fluffy Bear’ or ‘Pink Bear’ outfits.
  • Fixed an issue where Eve’s final line of dialogue would not display in Korean during the ‘Lost Items from Heaven’ conversation with Clyde in the Great Desert.
  • Fixed an issue where Eve’s arm would occasionally appear unnatural in Photo Mode when wearing the ‘Black Pearl’ or ‘Red Pearl’ outfits.
  • When using FSR upscaler, restarting the game is now required to enable frame generation.
  • Fixed an issue where the Fusion Weapon was not visible when beginning the fight against the Airborne Squad after defeating Providence.
  • Fixed an issue where using the numpad on the keyboard to trigger skills in the Training Room caused the training system to become unresponsive.
  • Fixed an issue where, when fishing for the ‘Betta’ fish with mouse and keyboard, the gray striped pattern of the progress bar would obscure the reel-in progress bar.
  • Fixed an issue where, when using the ‘Stinger’, target lock-on would not function correctly under specific input conditions.
  • Fixed an issue where the zoom function in the Hair Salon menu would not respond to controller or keyboard input.
  • Fixed an issue where dialogue would occasionally not display after interacting with Adam in the Eidos 9 Atelier.
  • Fixed an issue where Dororong would occasionally not appear during their introduction scene in Xion.
  • Fixed an issue where newly unlocked items would not immediately appear after increasing shop affinity level.
  • Improved the save timestamp system so that time since last save is now accurately displayed based on successful saves, rather than attempted saves.
  • Enhanced the save failure message by changing it to yellow for better visibility.
  • Various other bug fixes.

Stellar Blade 2 is in development and is due for release before 2027. In case you haven’t played the game in a while, the PS5 version got a slew of new content to mark the release of the PC version.

New Virtua Fighter Gameplay Breaks Out and It’s as Impressive as the Reveal Trailer; More Info at TGS 2025

Last year, SEGA announced that Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio (Like A Dragon franchise) was working on a new Virtua Fighter project. While the game still has a ways to go before it’s entirely revealed, the publisher and studio made a surprise appearance during today’s EVO 2025 finals, giving us a brand-new teaser for the project.

Here’s our first look at the new Virtua Fighter gameplay, and RGG goes into it without any fluff, which we approve of.

New Virtua Fighter Project Stuns In First Look

Clocking in at a little over a minute, the short gameplay teaser leaves a rather good impression for fighting fans. Where other fighters opt to be flashy and over-the-top with super moves and visual effects (nothing wrong with that), the new Virtua Fighter project appears to double down on its franchise’s core identity of grounded, more “realistic” martial arts.

There’s undoubtedly a sense of “brutality” behind each hit, with animation looking superbly clean, with a big focus on making it appear more “natural” compared to other fighters. Incidentally, did you know the first reveal trailer was a 1:1 recreation of one of Jackie Chan’s films?

It looks great from the short teaser, and we cannot wait to see more of it. Luckily, SEGA has promised to provide more information on the project at this year’s Tokyo Game Show, scheduled to run from September 25 to 28, 2025.

Darksiders 4 Announced, Marking the Long-Awaited Arrival of the Four Horsemen

Well, here’s something I didn’t have on my 2025 Bingo card. As announced by THQ during their THQ showcase, Darksiders is returning with a brand-new adventure. This is not a spinoff, but rather a new sequel, which was teased last year.

That’s right, Darksiders 4 is coming, and it continues where the first game left off.

War, Death, Fury, and Strife. The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse Are Finally Here

Details are still relatively light, though THQ did confirm where the game takes place in terms of story, which is directly where the original game ended. You’ll be able to choose which horseman you get to play as, with the promise of cinematic combat and an expansive world to explore.

About the Game (via official website)

The legendary saga of the Four Horsemen continues in Darksiders 4, an all-new action-adventure set in an apocalyptic version of earth and continues where the original Darksiders game left off.

Darksiders 4 is a 3rd person action adventure game featuring combat, traversal and puzzle solving in a lore rich post apocalyptic world.

Game Features:

  • Choose Your Horseman – Take up one of the legendary Horsemen—each with their own unique weapons and combat styles
  • Cinematic Combat – Experience fast-paced, visceral action blending melee, fluid traversal, and supernatural abilities.
  • Expansive Realms to Explore – Journey through apocalyptic landscapes – each teeming with secrets, enemies, and mythic bosses.

No release date has been announced yet, but we do know it will be released on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. At the moment, no Nintendo Switch 2 version has been announced. The title, which was previously teased by THQ last year, is now available to wishlist on the platforms mentioned above.

Guilty Gear Strive 2.00 Announced for 2026; New Chapter and More Characters Coming

With Guilty Gear Strive’s final Season 4 character launching later this month, many have been wondering, what’s next for the franchise? Well, it seems like the ARC System Works isn’t yet ready to move on from Guilty Gear Strive just yet, as they’ve announced that they are now working on Guilty Gear Strive 2.00, with a target release of 2026.

The news comes with a short teaser that confirms a new chapter, as well as hinting at returning characters.

Guilty Gear Strive 2.00 Update Teased At Evo 2025 Las Vegas

In a rather surprising announcement, ARC System Works has revealed that they are now in development for what they are calling Guilty Gear Strive 2.00, a future update that is going to bring a new chapter to the game, as well as some new characters. While the teaser showed very little, fans were quick to point out that the outlined character designs at the very end of the teaser were those of Robo-Ky (robotic version of Ky Kiske) and Jam Kuradoberi, both of whom have been featured in Guilty Gear Strive, though up until this point, have remained unplayable.

It’s highly likely with these teases at the end that they’ll finally be joining the roster next year, though as for what else Guilty Gear Strive 2.00 will bring, well, that’s anyone’s guess. Considering it’s a major revision number, we’re expecting some significant overhauls, likely a new Season Pass, and more to continue ongoing support.

What this does tell us, though, is that ARC System Works likely isn’t going to be moving on from Guilty Gear Strive for a long while, despite working on PlayStation’s Marvel fighter, Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls. We expect more information to arrive as we approach the new year, but for now, we’ll just have to hang tight. Luckily, the final Season 4 character is arriving later this month.

Lucy From Cyberpunk Edgerunners Joins Guilty Gear Strive as Final Season 4 Character

As revealed during the final day of EVO 2025 Las Vegas, ARC System Works and CD Projekt Red are teaming up to bring Lucy from the Cyberpunk Edgerunners anime into Guilty Gear Strive!

She’ll be the last character of Season 4 and will be making her debut later this month.

Cyberpunk Hacks Its Way Into Guilty Gear Strive With Final Season 4 Character

If you haven’t watched the trailer yet, fair warning, especially to those who have watched Cyberpunk Edgerunners, there’s definitely going to be some emotional damage when you hear that one song start playing. With that said, Lucy is looking pretty incredible as a new addition, and I love the fact that she has the ability to freeze the game so that she can perform quickhacks. Whoever thought to add that to her movesets for Guilty Gear Strive deserves a raise!

As for when she’s arriving, Lucy will be available for Guilty Gear Strive Season Pass 4 holders starting on August 21, 2025. As with any character drop, there will be a new downloadable update ahead of her launch that will also include several changes. We’ll have more details on that update as we get closer to the release date.

DICE Acknowledges Concerns Over Battlefield 6 Server Browser; Believes Their Solution Will Answer Requests

While we already mentioned how Battlefield 6 will feature a server browser that’s now readily accessible on the main page, Battlefield fans clearly want something similar to how it was in past Battlefield titles.

Over on X (formerly Twitter), one DICE dev bravely asked the Battlefield community about server browser suggestions and also offered their opinion on it so far.

Battlefield 6, Server Browser, the Community and DICE

battlefield 6 maps launch

DICE producer Alexia Christofi has asked Battlefield fans what their reasons are for wanting a server browser. Based on the deluge of feedback they’ve gotten, Christofi  has listed what they feel is the most important thing from the community about it:

  • persistent servers
  • a sense of community and a way to play together
  • being able to choose specific maps/modes
  • being able to filter by ping/server fullness
  • support for low pop regions

Continuing with this conversation, Christofi mentioned, “I think our server  (sic) browser solution answers all these wants. Yes, it’s via portal and shows community experiences, but these can award full XP, will be front and center in our main menu, not hidden – and will allow you to filter and search for specific things you want.”

However, they’re not closing the door on making changes. Christofi adds, “more to share on this in the future – but seeing all your replies I think what we have caters to the majority of use cases. We can talk more about if/why it feels like it’s not enough at a later date!”

Personally, I understand where the community is coming from, but in the grand scheme of things, this is a small thing to complain about given we’re getting just what we, as Battlefield fans, have asked for all these years.

Battlefield 6 will be released on October 10 on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC, and based on what DICE have said, do not expect any silly character skins to make its way into the game.

The open beta kicks off later this week, and you can learn more about it in our handy guide that mentions the start time, PC requirements, and more.

Battlefield 6 Will Feature a Server Browser That’s Easily Accessible; Server Locations Revealed

Good news, Battlefield fans, Battlefield 6 is going to have a server browser! From what we’ve learned, it’s somewhat similar to how Portal was implemented in Battlefield 2042; however, this time, the studio is ensuring that it’s part of the main menu, rather than separate from the core experience.

That’s not the only server-related news we got for you, either, as we now know some of the regions where the dedicated servers will be.

Battlefield 6 Will Feature a Server Browser on the Main Menu

Perhaps one of the biggest features that fans have been wanting to return to Battlefield is the inclusion of a server browser. A staple feature that has been in nearly every Battlefield release, though when Battlefield 2042 released, the browser was absent from the core experience, and instead packaged within Portal. Given the lack of support for Portal during Battlefield 2042’s run, many overlooked the feature, especially given that you needed to launch Portal within the game’s menu to get to the server browser.

Well, this is changing with Battlefield 6, as while the server browser does appear to be based on Portal-made experiences (which included official, custom, and standard experiences), the studios are making it much more streamlined than it was in Battlefield 2042. The teams noted during the multiplayer reveal event, which MP1st was invited to, that the server browser will now be a highlighted community option, often “elevated” in feature playlists, allowing players to access it directly at startup, rather than navigating through multiple menus.

When we followed up on what this would look like in the game’s menu, we were told that the browser would be an available and easily accessible feature via the community tab on the main menu. We didn’t get a chance to see this in the build we played, as it was designed specifically for the event. However, if the final release is anything like the build we played, it should be very easy to access the browser, given the clean navigation of the UI.

Battlefield 6 Server Locations

Although not finalized, Battlefield Studios is planning to have multiple servers from around the world for Battlefield 6. These include all the following regions:

  • Americas (North, Central, and South America)
  • Europe
  • The Middle East
  • Africa
  • Oceana
  • Asia

Hopefully, they’ll be able to populate every region with plenty of servers, ensuring players have a smooth experience at launch. The upcoming open beta test will certainly put that to the test.

Another concern players have is matchmaking and the dreaded SBMM monster. We have good news for that as well, as DICE explained how it works, and even if the game features skill-based matchmaking, other factors will take priority.

Battlefield 6 is set to arrive on October 10, 2025, on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

Cronos: The New Dawn Will Feature New Game+; Expect Linear Experience With “Moments of Freedom” Says Bloober

While Cronos: The New Dawn is a purely single-player affair, Bloober Team will have something to add to the replay value, and that’s with the inclusion of New Game Plus (+)!

Not only that, as while Cronos is a linear game, Bloober explains how the horror game’s dialogue choices will add another layer of replayability as well.

The developer confirmed these details in an exclusive interview with MP1st, where we got a chance to play the game before its release.

Cronos: The New Dawn Replayability Aided by Souls Player Collect

During the interview, we asked Bloober whether the game will be a linear experience or if there are any open world type of content to chew on.

Lead Writer and Lead Narrative Designer Grzegorz Like, and game director Jacek Zięba both answered the question by explaining how the game is a linear experience, but there’s a certain element of freedom to it still.

Jacek Zięba answered, “It’s hard to answer because we have a time travel story. In the case of structure, it’s linear with moments of freedom, like backtracking, and resolving all the stuff on the level. But still the story will need to go on a proper pace, because we want to say something very specific here.

Grzegorz Like explained, “We thought about doing multiple variations of things, and all that, but after experimenting, we decided to make it more linear because that’s more of a friendly environment for horror stories. Because you don’t want to make it too big, because it wears off, you know? But we still wanted to give the player that kind of feel of choices and all that, so we have dialogue choices, and your choices affect what you see in the game, what souls you have in your collection.”

“People you extract will change the way you perceive the game. They will whisper to you different things and they will give you context of things. After one play through, you meet your friend in a bar, you will talk about the game, and your experience will be a bit different, and maybe that will make you, you know, replay the game,” Like added.

Cronos: The New Dawn New Game+ Confirmed and It Will Make the Game Harder

Continuing with that conversation, we asked straight-up whether the game will feature a New Game Plus of some kind.

Fortunately, the developers didn’t try to be coy or anything, as Grzegorz Like confirmed it, stating, “Yes, and you can also change the difficulty to a higher level.”

Well, there you have it. Given Cronos will feature multiple endings that don’t have clear definitions of whether they’re good or bad, that should also add to the replayability.

Based on what we played so far, horror fans will want to keep this on their radar.

Cronos: The New Dawn is confirmed for release on September 5 on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2 and PC.
