Mortal Kombat 11 Tower of Time Meteor Secret Cracked

After over a year of speculation, the solution to the mysterious Mortal Kombat 11 Tower of Time meteor secret has finally been found. Long time Mortal Kombat dataminer, TheThiny has long been referencing some buried Mortal Kombat 11 data that has suggested that the Tower of Time had housed some sort of secret event. This discovery was made a little over a year and a half ago, and since then no one has discovered any way to activate this secret. In fact, many had assumed that this may have just been some left over coding that eventually got scrapped, however, with the latest Mortal Kombat 11 update now out, it seems that this secret is now achievable thanks to TheThiny dedication to solving it.

What does it do? Well it unlocks a random tower that rewards players with a random Kombat League skin! The way users input this code is pretty simple, though a costly one. For starters, players must be in the Tower of Time selection menu when the clock is ten minutes past the hour mark every two hours (schedule below). During this time a meteor will be seen running across the background, in which you can then enter the code above (Left, Up, Left, Right, Left, Up, Up) to receive a prompt that a new random tower is available! Additionally you will also need to following resources to actually play in the new found tower.

  • 250,000 Koins to meet requirements
  • 500 Hearts to meet requirements
  • 2,500 Souls fragment to meet requirement

Secret Tower of Time Meteor Schedule (Eastern Time Zone)

  • 1:10 am
  • 3:10 am
  • 5: 10 am
  • 7:10 am
  • 9:10 am
  • 11:10 am
  • 1:10 pm
  • 3:10 pm
  • 5:10 pm
  • 7:10 pm
  • 9:10 pm
  • 11:10 pm

Oh and in case you didn’t recognize the code to unlock this new tower, this just so happens to match the same original input found in Mortal Kombat 1 (for the SEGA), which was ABACABB. This code enabled blood and gore for this version of the game, but was also a reference to the musical group known as ABACABB. Pretty cool little piece of history there for those that didn’t know!

This certainly is a big discovery for the Mortal Kombat community, and an exciting one at that. This is one mystery that can finally be put to rest, and hopefully there’s still plenty more to be discovered. In other MK11 news, make sure to check out this Movie Skin pack fix on PS5 in case it’s not showing up for you.

Apex Legends Holo Day Bash 2020 Starts on Dec. 1

Apex Legends players who are looking to spend the holidays with their favorite legends, Respawn Entertainment has quite a few treats in store to make your home-bound celebrations a bit more colorful, as the Apex Legends Holo Day Bash 2020 start date has been announced for December 1!

Set to start next Tuesday, players can expect sales, the return of a fan favorite mode, an all-new rewards track and more!

Check out the Apex Legends Holo Day Bash 2020 event details below (via EA):

A MONTH OF SALES

Starting today with Black Friday, check back every week from November 24 to January 4 for a new set of sales including all-new Loba, Revenant, and Spitfire Legendary Skins. Here’s a sneak peek at some of the offers below:

LIMITED-TIME MODE: WINTER EXPRESS

Hi everyone, I’m Mark Yampolsky, Systems Designer on Apex Legends, and I’m here to tell you about a fan-favorite mode we’re bringing back this Holo-Day Season, now with some exciting changes!

The train is back in World’s Edge just for Winter Express, and this time it’s not the only vehicle descending into the valley around Epicenter. The supply ships from Kings Canyon are also flying around the frozen explosion.

For those of you who haven’t played it before, Winter Express is a round-based mode where three squads battle for control of the train as it makes its way around World’s Edge. This year, when your squad respawns after a round has finished, you will spawn on your own supply ship as it follows the train. From here, your squad will be able to survey the battlefield and skydive into combat as the train arrives at its next station and the objective unlocks. The squad that won the previous round will respawn directly on the train.

We’ve also added a new station for the train to stop at: Derailment is the scene of a catastrophic accident that occurred as a cargo train travelling the opposite direction took a tricky turn at high speed. This new station has a variety of flanking opportunities, and a unique rotation under the bridge where the train stops. This allows you to quickly change which side of the objective you’re attacking.

These changes should significantly reduce some of the long respawn times between rounds that players experienced last year. We can now spawn you earlier on the supply ships, and the longest section of track between stations is now divided in half with Derailment. We think these changes will make the mode an even more awesome experience.

Some new Legends have joined the games since Winter Express was last live, including: Loba, Revenant, Rampart, and Horizon. These Legends shake up the mode in new, exciting ways and we can’t wait for you to find new strategies for defending the objective or breaking through a powerful enemy line. We’ve also refreshed and rebalanced loadouts for this mode to include new weapons and purple armor for more exciting engagements that really help show off what our Legends can do.

HOLO-DAY REWARDS TRACK.

This year, Holo-Day Bash contains a rewards track with all-new unlockables. The rewards track will be available the same time as Winter Express, December 1 to January 4.

Check out everything you can earn below:

That’s all for now. See you in the Arena, Legends.

Once the patch is out for the event, we’ll be sure to let our readers know.

Mortal Kombat 11 Movie Skins Not Showing Up on PS5? Here’s a Fix

If you haven’t heard yet, Mortal Kombat 11 movie skins are now available for purchase across all platforms with today’s latest patch, and while eager fans may be excited to try out the 1995 film-themed skins, for those on PS5 you may be encountering an issue where the skins aren’t showing up at all. Well, there’s an easy fix to getting that resolved.

If you’re as big of a Mortal Kombat fan as I am, chances are you probably couldn’t resist buying the classic 1995 movie skin pack that came out this morning. Featuring skins based on the 1995 movie, Raiden, Sonya, and Johnny Cage have all received new skins with facial scans taken from the original actors! How badass right? Especially considering this is now on par with the Shang Tsung version in this game, since the original actor also plays him.

Mortal Kombat 11 Movie Skin Fix

While that’s all good, there seems to be an odd bug occurring for the PS5 version (and possibly Xbox Series) where simply downloading the pack won’t give you access to the skins! After spending an hour or so of troubleshooting, we soon found the solution to getting them to show up in the game’s customization menu.

For those who have already downloaded the skin pack, (and instructions to those planning) all you have to do is navigate to the PS5 storage under the settings tab. Once here, you’ll want to click on console storage and then games and apps, where you will then locate Mortal Kombat 11. You should see a selectable tab to the right of it, where it will show you all the additional content installed.

Click it, then you will want to locate the Klassic MK Movie Skin Pack and select it. It should only be 1.38MB. DOUBLE CHECK the full list of add-ons as you may have the Movie Skin Pack listed TWICE!! If that is the case, delete them both as this has been causing issues.

Once deleted, you will then exit back out to the main menu and boot Mortal Kombat 11. When booted, you will be notified of new available content which you can download directly from there.

You should see a notification in the upper right hand side saying the movie skin pack is downloading. This should only take you a few seconds to download and install and without exiting the game, you should now have access to the new DLC!

Mortal Kombat 11 Movie Skin Fix

We aren’t 100% sure why this bug is happening, though we suspect it may be due to the PS5 possibly downloading a PS4 unlock file rather than the PS5 version. Hopefully NetherRealm Studios is working on a fix for those who are unfortunate in not seeing this post. For now, the above workaround should fix this issue, and for those on the Xbox Series S or X who are also running into this, be sure to give this a try and let us know if it fixes it!

Fallout 76 Update 1.47 November 24 Brings Steel Dawn Early (Update)

Bethesda has released the Fallout 76 update 1.47 November 24 patch and thanks to an error, Christmas is coming early for Fallout 76 players! Earlier today, there was an error that allowed the Xbox community to download the big Steel Dawn expansion ahead of its December 1 launch. While the players can download the data, they couldn’t actually play it.

However, that’s changing now, as the studio decided to just release the free title update today instead of next week! For now, the Fallout 76 servers are undergoing maintenance (started at 4:00 p.m. ET) and will last for six hours! Once maintenance is over, you’ll be able to take on the Steel Dawn questline and more.

Fallout 76 Update 1.47 November 24 Patch Notes:

Update Highlights

  • Ad Victoriam!: The Brotherhood of Steel is back! Explore the first chapter of their story, meet new characters, visit new and updated locations, and unlock rewards as you experience the all-new Steel Dawn questline.
  • Head Underground: Flex those creative muscles by building out your very own instanced interiors with our first three C.A.M.P. Shelters.
  • Gear Up: Complete Steel Dawn quests and take on Daily Ops to earn new weapons and armor that are straight from the Brotherhood arsenal.
  • Don’t Just Survive, Thrive!: We’ve removed all negative effects from Hunger and Thirst. Instead, you’ll receive buffs that increase based on how well fed and hydrated you are.
  • Save Those Atoms: (Coming December 1) Already have some of the items in an Atomic Shop bundle? No problem! Bundle prices now lower automatically if you already own any items they contain.

Update Version 1.5.0.19

Check the download sizes below for today’s patch on your platform of choice:

  • PC (Bethesda.net): 8.3 GB
  • PC (Microsoft Store): 16.4 GB
  • PC (Steam): 8.8 GB
  • PlayStation 4: 15.2 GB
  • Xbox One: 16.0 GB

New Steel Dawn Questline

The Brotherhood of Steel has returned to Appalachia on a mission to reclaim the region for humanity, to preserve any tech they can find, and to find out what befell Paladin Taggerdy and her crew. Starting today, you can begin your journey with the Brotherhood of Steel and work toward a brighter future for Appalachia in the all-new Steel Dawn questline.

  • Complete New Quests: Meet the new Brotherhood arrivals and begin your journey through the Steel Dawn questline by heading to Fort Atlas (formerly ATLAS Observatory) in the Savage Divide region of Appalachia.
    • Your level 20+ characters can begin the Steel Dawn quests immediately, even if you haven’t completed any prior Fallout 76 quest content.
    • When you log in with an eligible character, a quest called “Welcome to the Neighborhood” will prompt you to visit Fort Atlas.
    • Please note: You can now Fast Travel to Fort Atlas for free. However, if you had already discovered ATLAS Observatory before to today’s update, its icon will no longer be visible on your Map. You will need to revisit the area to discover Fort Atlas, which will cause its Map marker to appear.
  • Meet New Faces: Get acquainted with new characters, like Paladin Rahmani, Knight Shin, Scribe Valdez, and many others who have arrived in Appalachia with the Steel Dawn Update.
  • Explore New locations: We’ve added several new locations and updated a number of existing ones that you’ll delve into during your journey with the Brotherhood.
  • Gear Up with New Rewards: Progress through the Steel Dawn questline and complete Daily Ops to earn a host of cosmetic, C.A.M.P., and item rewards, including the following new weapons and armor straight from the Brotherhood arsenal:
    • Crusader Pistol
    • Plasma Cutter
    • Hellstorm Missile Launcher
    • Brotherhood Recon Armor
    • You can purchase a variety of mods for these new items from Regs in Vault 79 using Gold Bullion, including mods that can alter each weapon to deal various types of elemental damage.
  • Main Menu Updates: The Brotherhood has taken over the game’s Main Menu with an all-new background video and music.

C.A.M.P. Shelters

Head underground with C.A.M.P. Shelters, which are instanced interiors that you can add to your C.A.M.P. and customize to flex your creativity as a builder.

  • We’ve added a brief new quest, called “Home Expansion,” to the game that all players must complete in order to gain access to the C.A.M.P. Shelters feature.
    • Begin the “Home Expansion” quest by reading a Shelters Claim Center poster in Train Stations throughout Appalachia. Or, find your way inside the Claim Center by locating a key in the northern Forest region.
  • With today’s update, we’re introducing our first three C.A.M.P. Shelters, which each offer a different sized space to build in, and feature their own layouts and styles.
    • Vault Utility Room: After completing the “Home Expansion” quest, all players can claim the Vault Utility Room for free in the Atomic Shop.
  • Please Note: Since we decided to release Steel Dawn early, only the Vault Utility Room will be available on November 24. The Vault Lobby and Atrium described below will arrive at a later date.
    • Vault Lobby: Fallout 1st Members can claim this medium-sized Shelter this month in the Fallout 1st section of the Atomic Shop. In the future, it will be available to all players for Atoms.
    • Vault Atrium: The largest of our first three Shelters, the Vault Atrium can be purchased using Atoms.
  • Once you’ve claimed a C.A.M.P. Shelter, you can access its interior by building the associated Shelter Entrance in your C.A.M.P.
    • Your C.A.M.P. can contain one of each type of Shelter that you own, and you can build multiple Entrances to the same Shelter.
    • Find your available Shelter Entrances by scrolling to the new “Shelters” category in the C.A.M.P. Build Menu. Select the Entrance you’d like to build, and then head inside.
  • Every Shelter has its own build budget that is separate from your main C.A.M.P., as well as any other Shelters you’ve built.
    • Your Shelter interiors will be saved as you build, so you won’t lose anything if you relocate your C.A.M.P., move your Shelter Entrances, or if your Entrances get destroyed.
    • Since they are instanced, Shelters are able to offer sizable build budgets. Currently, each of our first three Shelters have larger budgets than your main C.A.M.P.
  • We’ve relaxed certain build restrictions inside Shelters by introducing a “Toggle Snapping” option that you can turn off to place objects anywhere you’d like, or turn on to snap objects to each other or the build grid.
    • Additionally, use the Shelter Control Panel inside of each C.A.M.P. Shelter to quickly scrap or repair everything you’ve built so far.

Design Updates

Dynamic Bundle Pricing
  • Please Note: Since we decided to release Steel Dawn early, Dynamic Bundles will not be available until our original patch date of December 1.
  • A common suggestion we’ve received from Atomic Shop aficionados has been to reduce bundle prices for players who already own some of the items they contain. With today’s update, we’ve added pricing tech that will do just that.
    • Going forward, if you own one or more items in a bundle, its Atom price will automatically reduce accordingly. The more items you already have, the lower your adjusted price.
    • Bundles that have been adjusted this way will now display your price vs. the original price.
    • Items you already own will be marked in each Bundle’s description.
  • We’ve also added a new “Bundles” category to the left-hand side of the Atomic Shop menu so that you can more easily find all of the bundles that are currently available without having to hunt for them on multiple pages.
Additional Atomic Shop Updates
  • Backpack Flair: Add even more personality to your characters with Backpack Flair! We’ve added two Backpack Flair slots to the modify menu for Backpacks that you can use to add cosmetic Flair.
    • Going forward, keep an eye out for different Backpack Flairs that you can unlock in the Atomic Shop, claim from Season Scoreboards, or earn as rewards in-game.
    • Backpacks you crafted prior to the Steel Dawn Update will not have Backpack Flair mod slots. Craft new versions of your Backpacks to cause the Backpack Flair slots to appear.
    • Please Note: While the Backpack Flair system is live as of November 24, Flairs themselves are not yet available. We will let you know as soon as we add them on a later date.
  • Fallout 1st: Items that have special discounts for Fallout 1st Members will now appear in the Fallout 1st section of the Atomic Shop while they are on sale.
    • These items will now also display a Fallout 1st icon, both in the Fallout 1st category and in their appropriate sub categories in the Atomic Shop.
  • Lunchboxes: In addition to earning Lunchbox rewards from a Season Scoreboard, or buying them with Gold Bullion in-game, you can now purchase them for Atoms in the Atomic Shop.
    • Please Note: Since we decided to release Steel Dawn early, Lunchboxes will not be available in the Shop until our original patch date of December 1.
    • Lunchbox buff descriptions and the chances to receive each buff have been added to the “Lunchboxes” section of the Help Menu.
Daily Ops
  • New Items: We’ve added a number of new rare rewards that you can earn by completing Daily Ops. They include Plans to craft Brotherhood Recon Armor, the Crusader Pistol, Plasma Cutter, and Hellstorm Missile Launcher.
  • Plan Rewards: Say goodbye to duplicate Plans! Non-tradeable item Plans that can be awarded by Daily Ops, like the War Glaive Plan, will no longer continue to drop as rewards after you’ve learned them.
  • Mutations and Enemies: To help keep Daily Ops feeling fresh each day, we’ve made an adjustment to prevent the same enemy mutation and faction from appearing two days in a row.
Hunger and Thirst Updates
  • We agree with feedback from the community that our hunger and thirst mechanics could feel a little too punishing. We’ve decided to remove the negative effects when you’re hungry or thirsty, and buff up the bonuses you receive when you’re fed and hydrated.
  • Going forward, your Action Points, Health, and Disease Resists will no longer be negatively affected when you haven’t had anything to eat or drink recently.
  • Instead, you will receive buffs that increase depending on how full your hunger and thirst meters are:
    • Hunger: Gain +15 Max HP when partially fed, up to +35 Max HP, +35% Disease Resist, and +1 Strength when fully fed.
    • Thirst: Gain +15% AP Regeneration when partially hydrated, up to +35% AP Regeneration, +35% Disease Resist, and +1 Endurance when fully hydrated.
PVP
  • Pacifist Mode: When Pacifist Mode becomes available to new characters at level 5, it will now be toggled on by default.
User Interface
  • Map: Added a Fast Travel point and Map marker for Vault 51.

EA Madden 21 Update 1.19 November 24 Runs Out

In what’s becoming a weekly occurence, EA Vancouver has released the EA Madden 21 update 1.19 November 24 patch! Don’t expect too much from this patch though, as the big next-gen update is coming in hot next week.

EA Madden 21 Update 1.19 November 24 Patch Notes:

Unfortunately, no official notes have been shared by EA so far, which is unsual given we usually have the full notes available ASAP. Per the PS4’s update history, it only mentions” quality improvements which is obscure.

Hopefully, the Madden community can chime in on what the changes are included in this patch. Once we do know what they are, we’ll make sure to let our readers know. If you spot any gameplay-related changes in this patch, let us know what you find down below in the comments. And of course, if we get an update from EA, we’ll make sure to update the post.

If you haven’t done so, go read our Madden 21 review to see if it’s worth picking up on current-gen, while we contemplate whether we need to review the game for next-gen platforms (if there are enough gameplay-related changes we might).

Warframe PS5 Release Date Set for Nov. 26, Here Are the New Features

Tennos migrating from the PS4 to PS5, you’ll be able to shoot, slice and loot your way to new-gen platforms, as Digital Extremes has announced the Warframe PS5 release date is set for November 26! Check out the previously released trailer as well as the list of new features PS5 gamers can expect from the hit free-to-play shooter.

Warframe PS5 Release Date: November 26 (worldwide)

New Features:

ENHANCED POWER AND FIDELITY IN THE NEXT GENERATION
Taking full advantage of the power of next-gen consoles, Warframe will run at up to 4K resolution and 60fps. Drastically improved loading times will zip players into the action as fast as possible, creating a seamless experience from player-filled towns to massive Open Worlds.

The all new Enhanced Renderer introduces dynamic lighting in unprecedented ways to Warframe. From the neon underbelly of Fortuna, to our newest landscape on the Infested moon of Deimos… there’s no better place to see the stunning differences. The light from the sun now casts long shadows through the trees, foliage creates dynamic shadows as players stalk through it, and the reflections of the dense Cetus market can be seen across each Warframe as they stroll through.

A game-wide texture remaster adds new levels of detail and enhanced color throughout the experience and reduces the space Warframewill take up on players’ hard drive!

SQUAD UP WITH CROSS-GENERATION PLAY
This new hardware generation delivers on the promise of cooperative team-play by giving squads around the world one of their most desired features: cross-generation play!

For PS4 and PS5 owners, this means Tenno can move seamlessly between platforms, playing with teammates regardless if they’re on PS4 or PS5. Gamers’ profiles and progress will be saved and will follow them as they move onto PS5.

Look for details on Xbox One Series X cross-generation play in the future on Warframe.com.

ACTIVITIES, NEXT-GEN CONTROLS & MORE ON PLAYSTATION 5
The next generation of Warframe takes advantage of many of the new and unique features of Sony’s PlayStation 5.

Progress Activities will show you exactly how close you are to earning a Trophy, while Challenge Activities will get you right into the action with no need to load the game. The first will be a Sanctuary Onslaught Challenge, with more to come!

At launch using the PS5’s Adaptive Triggers, players will experience the impact of every shot fired with each trigger pull, bringing a new level of immersion and thrill to your actions without comprising the tight, fast, fluid and responsive controls that you can only get in Warframe.

In the future, as Digital Extremes explores Sony’s advanced Haptic technology, it aims to further immerse the player with unique vibration patterns that match in-game environments: from feeling the cold snow crunch under your feet on Venus in contrast to the soft-footing of a dusty Mars settlement!

PS+ PACK EXCLUSIVE: DUALSENSE INSPIRED SYANDANA (AND MORE)
PS5 and PS4 owners can celebrate the next generation by downloading the free, exclusive Warframe®: PlayStation Plus Booster Pack (an approximately $30 value) to get started. This exclusive pack contains a new Sedai Obsidian Syandana — a design inspired by the new DualSense Controller — an Experience Booster, in-game Currency Booster, Credits and Premium Credits.

Xbox Series X gamers, Digital Extremes will announce the release date for the platform in the future.

Demon’s Souls Update 1.003 November 24 Slashes Out

Bluepoint Games has released the Demon’s Souls update 1.003 November 24 patch on PS5 today. It weighs in at just 225MB, which suggests that it’s purely for bug fixes and the like.

Demon’s Souls Update 1.003 Patch Notes:

Outside of weighting roughly 225mb, as of right now there are no known patch notes. We can only assume this is to address some of the crashes players have been experiencing and potentially the rest mode issues. We will be monitoring community feedback, and will update this post once any confirmed fixes have been discovered. However, we most likely won’t be getting any official changelog as Bluepoint Games  have yet to detail any of the fixes in the last 1.002 update.

Chances are these are for some minor bug fixes, though for those wondering this does not patch to recently found luck glitch that allows you to exploit gold coin for an insane amount of luck that players have been abusing to gain max soul level. Nor does this update appear to fix “wrong warping” a new glitch that allows players to warp to a different location in a means that isn’t normally possible.

Again, we will be updating this post should anyone from the community find any substantial changes for the game. In the meantime, in case you haven’t heard and have been living under a rock these past few days, the secret door that was added in the remake of Demon’s Souls has been cracked open by user Distortion! You can read up on the details here: Demon’s Souls Secret Door Puzzle Has Been Solved

Complete Black Ops Cold War Weapon Stats

For the first time in a Call of Duty game, the developers actually put in the numerical values of gun attachments and how they affect each weapon. While that in itself is awesome, what if you can check out the complete Black Ops Cold War weapon stats?

Thanks to YouTuber XclusiveAce, we can do just that! The content creator best known for publishing gun guides and stat breakdowns of gun attachments has released his full Black Ops Cold War weapon stats one sheet! This treasure trove of info has the damage numerical values, how many shots it takes to kill a character and loads more! Note that this only has the guns released at launch, and of course, there will be constant patches, so expect these values to change. We’ll be updating the table once a new balance patch or new weapon has been rolled out, but if you’d rather check the one sheet yourself, it’s right over here as a Google document.

Here is a short sneak peak of the sheet but if you want more information, go and look at the Google document above!

For those old enough (like me), or just familiar with video game movie adaptations, chances are you’ve heard or seen the original Mortal Kombat movie that was released way back in 1995. It looks like NetherRealm Studios is looking to bring back a blast from the past, as a couple of Mortal Kombat 11 movie skins have been teased!

Over on the official Mortal Kombat Twitter page, we got what seems to be a sneak peek at the Mortal Kombat 11 movie skins for Sonya Blade, Johnny Cage, and Raiden.

Based from the image, it looks like this will be part of the Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate edition or possibly the Kombat Pack 2. In case you didn’t know, Sonya Blade was played by Bridgette Wilson, while Johnny Cage was portrayed by Linden Ashby. Raiden was played by Christopher Lambert, who was pretty well known back then thanks to the success of the Highlander movie franchise.

Of course, no official announcement or release date for these skins have been announced just yet, so we’re unsure as to when we’ll exactly get to rock these. Once we know more info, we’ll let our readers know.

Black Ops Cold War Upcoming 2XP, 2x Weapon XP & Nuketown 24/7 Starts Tomorrow

If you find the weapon XP in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War a little bit slow, then rejoice! Treyarch has announced that a Black Ops Cold War upcoming 2XP and 2x weapon XP event is starting tomorrow alongside the free Nuketown map drop!

The Black Ops Cold War upcoming 2XP event starts tomorrow and will last until November 30, which means you have about a week to grind your progression and weapon attachments!

We are expecting a patch to be deployed with the Nuketown map, and if so, maybe the sniper buff confirmed to be on the way by Treyarch will be part of it too. Don’t forget to redeem your free Nuketown weapon bundle as well (which you can read about here).

Of course, there is the chance that there’s no patch planned for tomorrow, as the Nuketown map data could have been included in this past week’s title update. Once we know more details, we’ll let our readers know.
