Competitive

To ease competitive pressure, we’ve adjusted ranked rewards:
1. Gold-tier rewards remain the same; one costume per half-season. Season 5.0 Gold-tier costume reward is Gambit – Sacrificial Pawn.
2. Crests of Honor (inc. Top 500) and Nameplate Frame rewards are now granted once per season at the season’s end.

Competitive Team Limit Adjustments:
1. Bronze to Grandmaster: Team up with any party size except five-stack.
2. Celestial/Eternity/One Above All: Only solo or duo queue allowed.

Placement Matches

From Season 5 onward, your first 10 ranked matches are Placement Matches. Your performance determines your starting tier.

Placement Rules

1.1 Predicted vs. Actual Rank

• During placement matches, you will receive a predicted rank reflecting your estimated skill level. This predicted rank is used for matchmaking and team formation during placement matches.
• Predicted rank is not your final rank. After completing all 10 placement matches, you will be assigned your actual rank, which may differ from your predicted rank.

• If you don’t finish all placement matches this season, you will not receive any season rewards.
• If you complete placement matches in the first half of the season, you’ll keep that rank in the second half. If you don’t finish placements in the first half, you must complete them in the second half to be eligible for ranked rewards.

Reward Rules:
• To earn the Gold tier costume reward for a half-season, you must complete 10 ranked matches in that season’s half and finish at Gold rank or higher at the end of the half-season.
• To receive season-end rewards, you must complete placement matches and meet the required rank at season’s end.

Example:
If you finish 9 placement matches in the first half of the season with an estimated rank of Platinum III, but don’t complete the 10th match, you won’t get the Gold costume reward. If you complete your 10th placement match in the second half of the season, you’ll be eligible for season-end rewards but not both halves’ Gold costumes.
If you play 10 ranked matches in both halves of the season, you’ll be eligible for both Gold costumes and the season-end rewards.
Additionally, if you don’t finish 10 placement matches in Season 5, your Season 6 initial estimated rank for placement matches will be Platinum III.

1.2 First-Time Placement

When doing placements for the first time (regardless of season), your initial estimated rank is determined by two criteria:
• Initial Estimated Rank A: If you played 10 or more ranked matches in Season 4, your Season 5 placement matches estimated starting rank is your Season 4 final rank minus 3 divisions. Please note that players ranked in the Celestial II, Celestial I, Eternity, and One Above All in Season 4 will be uniformly reset to Grandmaster II as their initial estimated rank for the new season. Players in Bronze III, Bronze II, Bronze I, and Silver III will start at Bronze III as their initial estimated rank.

• Initial Estimated Rank B: We’ll also check your highest historical rank from any previous season with 10+ matches, subtract some sub-tiers, and set this as your historical initial rank for placement matches (capped at Platinum II).

Your higher result from A or B becomes your initial predicted rank.
Example: If A gives Gold I and B gives Platinum III, you start placement matches at Platinum III.
If you do not complete 10 placement matches in Season 5, the same rules will apply the next time you do placements.

1.3 Subsequent Placements

If you’ve completed 10 placements and received a true rank in a previous season, future initial estimated ranks are based on your last season’s final rank minus 3 sub-tiers.
Again, players ranked in the Celestial II, Celestial I, Eternity, and One Above All will be uniformly reset to Grandmaster II as their initial estimated rank for the new season. Players in Bronze III, Bronze II, Bronze I, and Silver III will start at Bronze III as their initial estimated rank.
In such circumstances, the highest rank achieved previously will no longer be taken into account.

1.4 New Players

If you have never played 10 ranked matches in a season, you are considered a new player and will start at Silver III estimated rank.

2 Match Results

Your final placement after completing placement matches is closely tied to wins and losses across the ten matches. Each victory or defeat moves your current estimated rank and shows roughly where you stand. After all placement matches:
•You can be placed up to 1–2 divisions above your previous season’s final rank, but you will not be placed higher than Celestial I.
•Your lowest possible placement varies by tier but will not be lower than Bronze III.
•If you go 5 wins and 5 losses, your final placement will be close to your initial estimated rank.

3 Placement Matchmaking

3.1 Team Restrictions

While any player is in placement matches, they may only queue in teams of up to three players. For teams that include at least one player in placement matches, the difference between the highest-ranked and lowest-ranked player in the party must be less than 3 divisions. If stricter party limits apply (for example, if the party contains players at Celestial/Eternity/One Above All tiers), those stricter limits will take precedence.

3.2 Matchmaking Rules

If a team contains any player in placement matches, the matchmaking will use the highest-ranked player in the team as the search anchor when finding teammates and opponents.

4 Penalty Rules

1. If a player in placement matches experiences a disconnect, reconnect timeout, inactivity, or similar violation, penalties depend on timing:
• If the match ends within 90 seconds of their disconnect:
Normal settlement based on match result and stats; no penalty.
• If the match ends more than 90 seconds after their disconnect, that player will be marked as a loss for the placement match, will receive a ranked suspension, and an offense count will be recorded, regardless of match outcome.
• If the player is judged to have deliberately AFK: if the team wins, no penalty is applied; if the team loses, the placement match result is result is calculated, they receive a ranked suspension, and an offense count is recorded.

2. If squad members (members of your stack) of a player in placement matches experience a disconnect, reconnect timeout, or similar violation, penalties depend on timing:
• If the match ends within 90 seconds of their disconnect:
Normal settlement based on match result and stats; no penalty to the squad member.
• If the match ends more than 90 seconds after the squad member disconnects: Victory: normal settlement; no penalty. Defeat: A loss will be recorded for the placement match player, but no ranked suspension.

3. If teammates (other players you get matched with) of a player in placement matches experience a disconnect, reconnect timeout, or similar violation, penalties depend on timing:
• If the match ends within 90 seconds of the teammate’s disconnect:
Normal settlement based on match result and stats.
• If the match ends more than 90 seconds after the teammate disconnects: Victory: normal settlement; no penalty. Defeat: The match shall be deemed invalid, meaning the data from this match shall not be counted towards the rank calculation for the placement match player.

ARC Raiders Hotfix 1.000.009 Released to Fix Matriarch Spawn in The North Line

Just hours ago, Embark Studios released the first content drop for ARC Raiders with the North Line. Unfortunately, not everything worked as intended with the content drop, which necessitated a follow-up hotfix to be released.

This is another client-side update, which console gamers will see as ARC Raiders update 1.000.009. Expect this to be a small download, and it is intended as an emergency hotfix.

ARC Raiders Receives Emergency Hotfix for The North Line as Patch 1.000.009

According to Embark, the follow-up hotfix is for the following:

We have just pushed a hotfix to address the Matriarch not spawning correctly. Keep an eye on the map conditions if you’re ready to face the Matriarch, good luck out there!

In the notes earlier today, we missed the Security Locker drop rate changes. We understand that this change affects those of you who specifically aimed for that skill tree spec. We’re exploring the possibility of adding a skill reset mechanic. Balancing is important for us and both overperforming and underperforming skills will be adjusted over time.

We also noticed some of you are reporting achievement and quest issues – the team is investigating.

That’s about it. While we expected a follow-up patch to be released, we didn’t expect this to be out this soon. Once another one is pushed out, particularly for achievement and quest issues, we’ll keep our readers posted.

UPDATE | PLAYSTATION 4 SUPPORT

With each new Season of THE FINALS, our technology keeps pushing forward with recent features like Smooth Destruction and Instant Replays and major upgrades in performance and optimization. These improvements are shaping the future of the game, but they also demand more from the hardware that runs it.

As we continue to advance, it’s become increasingly difficult to maintain and optimize PlayStation 4 support, without limiting the features and gamemodes we want to create. Some of our latest systems simply aren’t compatible with the older generation’s technology, and ensuring an identical experience for our players across all platforms means making some tough trade-offs.

When Season 10 begins (18th of March, 2026), we’ll be retiring the PlayStation 4 version of THE FINALS and focusing our support on newer platforms. From that point on you’ll need to play on one of those platforms to keep enjoying the game (your progress and purchases will be stored in your Embark ID and will transfer to anywhere you choose to play). We’re finalizing the details now and we’ll share more information shortly.

Our focus now is on delivering the best possible experience across modern platforms where we can take full advantage of the tech that drives THE FINALS forward.

We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who’s been part of the PS4 community.

IMPROVEMENTS | QUALITY OF LIFE

Notable fixes in this update include the addition of Instant Replays to Xbox Series S! Never miss a play!

We’ve also fixed a very annoying bug that would prevent players from using Respawn Tokens after being revived while in the Loadout Change screen.

We’ve also been digging deep into performance this patch, identifying many of the in-game stutters that were caused by high memory pressure on the client side, which was caused by high memory pressure on the client side. This update brings major optimizations to help fix that including smarter shader caching (cutting precompiled shaders by 25% and PSO memory by 20%), leaner textures, graphics, and collision meshes, plus smoother replays and improved threading on lower-core CPUs. We’ve also tuned raytraced global illumination for better performance and cleaned up the Weapon and Gadget customization screen. In short,  fewer hitches, faster loads, and a smoother ride all around.

The Finals Mid-Season Update

Let’s dig into the details:

Performance

Dev Note: Various system memory optimizations are listed below. We have seen that high memory pressure can cause in-game stutters due to page faults. The goal of these optimizations are to reduce memory pressure and thus lower the risk of stutters during gameplay.

  • Optimized shader cache based on graphics quality. Reduces precompiled shaders by ~25% and PSO memory usage by ~20%.

Dev note: Note that changing Effects quality during gameplay may trigger shader compilation and cause brief stuttering.

  • Various optimizations to textures, graphics and collision meshes in order to lower memory usage

  • Fixed an issue that could cause overly blurry textures and lowpoly meshes when running close to video memory limits

  • Rebalanced raytraced global illumination graphics quality settings to improve performance

  • Improved performance on the Weapon/Gadget customization screen

  • Improved performance by optimizing audio systems

  • Improved threading efficiency on CPUs with low core count

Private Match

  • Host can now set squad colors separately for spectators and players

  • Removed the round counter from the Choose Contestant Pack screen when a mode has only one round (e.g. Blast Off)

  • Spectators can now see which player is currently stealing a Cashout in the team HUD

  • Fixed an issue where navigating the Private Match lobby could move focus out of visible options and cause lost menu control when confirming with a controller

Social

  • Improved reliability and performance of rich presence to more consistently show player status to friends

  • Friends set to invisible/hidden on their platform no longer trigger “went online” entries in the event log

  • Fixed an issue where the Social menu didn’t update immediately. Requests, Recent, and Blocked tabs now refresh without needing to leave and re-enter the Social menu

  • We’re testing a new voice moderation tool, so all voice chat settings are turned off by default in this Update. Go into your settings to re-enable your voice chat by enabling voice moderation

  • Improved Discord friend presence updates: when a friend returns from Invisible/Offline, their status now refreshes correctly instead of appearing as Online Elsewhere or In Main Menu

  • Fixed a VoIP issue where leaving a match while in a party would mute both members, requiring them to re-enable voice chat

  • Fixed a bug where the Xbox icon was shown on the Xbox platform for Discord-only friends

  • The ‘join game’ functionality is no longer shown on your Steam profile. Now random friends will not be able to enter your party uninvited

Spectator

  • Improved spectator experience by making the spectator launch into the follow player view after the initial tunnel sequence

  • Improved spectator death camera: when spectating in first-person and the player you’re watching is eliminated, the camera now briefly tracks the killer before transitioning to their perspective for a smoother handoff

  • Added a spectator option to hide player names and health bars beyond 80m, with a toggle to control visibility at long distances

  • Added an option to hide all HUD elements in Spectator mode, including world icons and scoreboards

  • Spectator HUD:Team background color now covers the full bottom bar

  • Changed the default keybind for toggling ranged health bars from L to Y while spectating on Mouse & Keyboard to avoid overlapping inputs

  • Improved spectator team view with a gradient backplate and corrected horizontal alignment in the right-side

  • Added more fine-grained camera control

Security

Updates from the Anti-Cheat team!

Denuvo rollout is now complete and is working almost beyond expectations.
Anybrain rollout is also complete and has proved to be a valuable tool for us in detecting Xim and Cronus Zen like devices.

We are constantly improving our detections and investigating new capabilities to ensure we keep THE FINALS fair and secure for our players. It’s full steam ahead and we’re getting pretty warmed up!

Finally, we’d like to take the opportunity to advise against using third-party tools like Cheat Engine. Depending on how it is used, it could lead to warnings or a direct ban.

MP1st will post more updates on The Finals in the near future. In related news, check out the latest update on ARC Raiders.

ARC Raiders The North Line Update Version 1.000.008 Ushers in First Content Drop

As promised, when Embark Studios revealed the roadmap for ARC Raiders in 2025, the first content drop for the game is here! Players can expect the patch to bring a new map called Stella Montis, new Arc enemies, gameplay items and more.

Console gamers should see this download appear as ARC Raiders update 1.000.008, and expect a hefty download across all platforms given this is a major content drop.

For the info on the new content and patch notes, head on below.

ARC Raiders The North Line Update New Content Brings a New Map, Enemies and More

Join the Community Unlock Event: Breaking New Ground

On November 13, the Community Unlock Event “Breaking New Ground” begins. In this event, players are asked to contribute resources to the tunnel project. In Speranza, nothing comes for free, and the tunnel project is no different. Basic Materials must be collected and donated for the restoration of the tunnels to reach the fifth map: Stella Montis. Any player that has played at least five rounds can participate in this community effort.

Materials needed:

  • Metal Parts
  • Fabric
  • Chemicals
  • Rubber Parts
  • Plastic Parts

But your efforts will not go unrewarded. Donations in the “Breaking New Ground” event will earn Merits, a new event currency that will fuel the next phase of progression. While there is a cap on how many Merits can be earned for material donation, additional contributions will aid Speranza in reaching Stella Montis more quickly.

Once completed, the restoration of the tunnels and unlocking of Stella Montis will trigger Phase II, “Staking Our Claim,” a new progression track.

Map unlock: Stella Montis

Carved deep into the northern mountains, Stella Montis tempts Raiders to explore an abandoned facility that remains relatively well-preserved compared to the wreckage of the lower Rust Belt. Cold and sterile, these ruins hint at what humanity left behind in its push towards the stars.

The reconnection of the tunnels to Stella Montis will trigger the opening of Phase II, “Staking Our Claim.” This is a new progression track with personal rewards and challenges, and will run for a limited time until December.

New ARC enemies, gameplay items, and more

Raiders who investigate Stella Montis will recover rare resources, new gameplay items, maybe even schematics for long-lost technology.

The North Line update also introduces two new ARC enemies, each bringing distinct challenges to those who are brave enough to venture topside. The Matriarch is an imposing ARC machine that makes the Queen look friendly and can be found during a specific map condition. The Shredder will first appear in Stella Montis, challenging Raiders to stay sharp in close-quarter encounters.

New ARC:

  • Matriarch
  • Shredder

New Weapon and Gameplay Items:

  • New legendary weapon
  • Three new mines
  • Two new grenades

Street Fighter 6 Update 1.000.024/1.24 Includes Fixes for C. Viper and More

Capcom has released a new update for Street Fighter 6, and this includes some fixes for the C. Viper character. On consoles, this should show up as version 1.000.024/1.24.

Some crash issues have also been fixed for the game. Check out the full Street Fighter 6 patch notes down below.

C. Viper Fixes in Street Fighter 6 Update 1.000.024/1.24

Street Fighter 6 Update

Bug Fix

Fixed a crash issue that occurred when both Player 1 and 2 performed specific Super Arts at the same time.
Note: This was fixed previously but we’ve confirmed it has happened again so this is an additional fix.

Bug Fix

Fixed a crash issue that occurred when two players are in online training mode and one player using C. Viper would select Character-Specific Settings from the training menu.

Note: While the above crash issue was resolved in the update, we’ve also confirmed that changing C. Viper’s Limit Decoupler setting to ‘Infinite’ under Character-Specific Settings will result in irregular behavior for the character and the Super Art gauge.

In addition, continuing online training mode with this irregular behavior active can increase the chance of a network error occurring. These new issues will be resolved in a future update, but please refrain from using the settings outlined above until that fix has been implemented. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause in the meanwhile.

C. Viper Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where a normal Aerial Burning Kick would be performed when using Modern Controls and manual inputs to perform an Overdrive Aerial Burning Kick even though two attack buttons were pressed simultaneously
  • Fixed an issue where the Super Art 1 timer would disappear when performing a High Jump Cancel even if C. Viper wasn’t in Burnout.

We will update our readers when the next Street Fighter 6 patch is released. In related news, check out the new update for UFC 5 released earlier this month.

Silent Hill f First Update 1.002 Adds Casual Difficulty Mode via Version 1.10

More than a month after it was released, NeoBards has released Silent Hill f’s first update, and this ushers in more than just your standard bug fixes.

Console gamers will see this download appear as Silent Hill f update 1.002 (complete version 1.002.000), which Konami calls patch version 1.10, and should be the version you see on the game’s start screen.

There are also bug fixes and gameplay adjustments slotted in, which makes the overall experience better.

Silent Hill f Casual Difficulty Added in First Update Version 1.002

New Features

  • Added Action Difficulty: Casual

The Casual action difficulty will be playable when starting a game from “New Game” on the main menu or from a New Game+ save file.

For players on the Story action difficulty or higher, the Casual action difficulty will be selectable upon reaching the Game Over screen multiple times.

  • Added Optional Skip Feature for Select Sections of New Game+

Upon completing the “Go through the door” objective after solving the mural puzzle on New Game+, the game will display the option to skip. The game will resume at the scene where Hinako awakens at the corridor of the Dark Shrine for the second time with the “Proceed” objective if skipped.

  •  Items from the skipped sections will not be collected.
  • “Thankful to Be Here,” “Grateful for a Worthy Foe,” and “Clear Skies” do not unlock on a playthrough that uses the skip feature.
  • The skip feature does not impact branching paths or endings.

System Changes

  • Hinako’s stamina replenishes slightly faster
  • Unskippable combat encounters are reduced across multiple sections
  • Fewer enemies are placed across multiple sections
  • Hinako’s line when an enemy is defeated plays at a slightly later time
  • Hinako takes slightly less damage on the Hard action difficulty

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed bug where Shu duplicates in the cutscene that plays when heading from Sennensugi Shrine to Rinko’s house during the “Head to Rinko’s house” objective
  • Fixed bug where interaction icons do not display on the hall leading to the room with the naginata during the “Enter the inner room” objective
  • Fixed bug where the Sakuko-like entity stops moving in combat during the “Defeat the Sakuko-like entity” objective
  • Fixed bug where the Fog Monster stops moving and halts progress during the “Escape from the Fog Monster” objective
  • Fixed bugs across multiple levels where events do not progress despite meeting the required conditions
  • Fixed bugs across multiple levels where specific enemies remain outside of the combat area and cannot be defeated
  • Fixed bugs across multiple levels where clumps of flesh do not spawn
  • Fixed bug where some notes from “Sakuko’s Diary” could not be obtained on New Game+
  • Fixed bug where Hinako may become unresponsive to player input after dodging
  • Fixed bug where Hinako dies upon loading an autosave file if Hinako died during an autosave
  • Fixed bug where the “View Endings” option does not display on the title screen after finishing the first playthrough (may require loading New Game+ data to fix)
  • Fixed bug where Indirect Lighting and Reflections revert to On during cutscenes even when set to Off in the Graphics menu
  • Fixed bug where the cursor moves without player input when playing on the controller

*Various other minor bugs have been fixed, including bugs related to audio, hitboxes, text errors, loading, and graphics.

Given the game’s excellent state, don’t expect frequent patches for the horror game, unless they’re for new features or if this patch inadvertently breaks something.

If you haven’t yet tried or finished the game, you might want to remedy that ASAP. Our review gave it an almost perfect score and said, “Silent Hill f isn’t just the best horror game of the year so far, it’s one of the best games released in 2025.”

In other horror game news, it’s already known that Bloober is working on a remake of the first Silent Hill game. While there’s no release date tied to that yet the studio’s recent comment hints that we might not have to wait long to play it.

Xbox New System Update Released on November 12

Microsoft has released a new Xbox system update on November 12, though this is nothing to get excited about. Players should expect a small file download with the firmware patch appearing as 10.0.26100.6194.

Given it hasn’t even been a month since we last saw a quality-of-life system update, don’t expect anything major from this.

Xbox’s System Update for November 2025 Isn’t Anything to Get Excited About

Per Microsoft, today’s firmware patch is for “General stability and performance improvements.” Yep, that’s about it. In comparison, last month’s system update included game hub improvements and Rewards updates.

Home customization

Players can now show and Hide the play history tile from Home to best suit their needs. To do so, just go to Settings > General > Personalization > Games & apps > Hide play history tile.

Rewards updates

We’ve added your Rewards level to your My Rewards hub as well as updated the content purchasing process to show your Rewards level and the amount of Reward points you will earn with each purchase.

Game hub improvements

We’ve added Official Club content and in-game benefits to the game hub experience for games that support these features making it easier to engage with your favorite games.

Chances are, we’ll get one more Xbox update before 2025 is over, though I wouldn’t expect anything major from it. In other Xbox news, the next-gen Xbox will reportedly run on Windows and remove the paywall for multiplayer gaming. We’re hoping more news about that becomes available starting in 2026.

NHL 26 Update 1.022 Brings Small Artwork Changes, Servers Down for Maintenance

EA Sports has announced that NHL 26 update 1.022 will be released on November 12th. The update mainly includes small artwork-related changes.

According to the developers, the update will go live at 10:00 AM PT / 1:00 PM ET today. During this time, servers will be offline for up to an hour, so players are advised to finish any online matches before the maintenance begins to avoid interruptions.

NHL 26 Update 1.022 Goes Live Nov. 12

It’s worth noting that the tweet mentions no gameplay or balance changes, indicating that this update focuses only on visual and presentation fixes and will not be a major update.

The last major update for NHL 26 was Update 1.2.0, released on October 21. The patch included gameplay adjustments, quality-of-life improvements, various bug fixes, and more. If Electronic Arts releases another update, we’ll be sure to let you know here at MP1st.

If you haven’t picked up the game yet, check out our review, which gave it a score of 7.5 out of 10, stating, “NHL 26 provides a much-needed upward swing for the series that has been treading water for a few years outside of the visual upgrades in the previous entry.”

In other news about the studio, Electronic Arts has assured its employees and the public that it will retain creative control if the proposed $55 billion Saudi-backed buyout proceeds.

  • Fixed an issue where enemies spawned for Chaos Rifts could spawn outside the expected range.
  • Fixed an issue where the Whisper bounty for sealing Chaos Rifts could appear for Eternal Players.
  • Fixed an issue where enemies could spawn inside the walls of Nightmare Dungeons.
  • Various performance, stability, and visual improvements.

This is a minor update, though it’s been two months since the Infernal Chaos patch, which means we should be getting one more major update before the year is over.

Once Blizzard pushes another Diablo 4 update out, expect it here on MP1st.

WWE 2K25 New Update on November 12 Slams Out for DLC via Patch 1.28

The Saturday Night’s Main Event Pack DLC is now live in WWE 2K25, and this ushers in new wreslters and more. Console gamers will see the patch appear as WWE 2K25 update 1.28, and this also adds in new unannounced items.

For a look at the new wrestlers and other items added, head on  below,

WWE 2K25’s November 12 Update Adds New Content as Part of Patch 1.28

Here are the new wrestlers added as part of the Saturday Night’s Main Event Pack DLC:

  • Jesse Ventura, often known as “The Body,” was one of the first and most prominent WWE Superstars to make the crossover into Hollywood movies, leveraging his imposing physique and distinctive voice to portray colorful, tough characters in action blockbusters. A celebrated in-ring performer and commentator, Ventura is both a WWE Hall of Famer and former governor of Minnesota.
  • In an era of impressive physical specimens, few could boast the musculature of “Mr. Wonderful” Paul Orndorff, who utilized the devastating piledriver finisher to great effect. At the first-ever WrestleMania, “Mr. Wonderful” made history, teaming up with “Rowdy” Roddy Piper to take on Hulk Hogan and Mr. T in the main event. After his WWE career came to an end, Orndorff went on to capture the WCW World Television Champion and became a two-time WCW World Tag Team Champion, before being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.
  • A two-time Intercontinental Champion, two-time WWE Tag Team Champion, and WWE Hall of Famer, the perennially heroic Tito Santana is one of the most beloved Superstars of the 1980s and 1990s. Among his many accolades, Santana competed in the opening match at the first-ever WrestleMania, and won the 1989 King of the Ring tournament. Utilizing the flying forearm smash finisher and figure-four leglock, Santana could excite fans in the air and on the mat, and in a seat at the Spanish announce table, entertained with his commentary as well.
  • Among a class of unforgettable WWE Legends, Junkyard Dog still managed to stand out. Often barking, biting the air, and crawling on all fours, Junkyard Dog struck an entertaining appearance before he even locked horns with his opponent. But when he did, he stood toe to toe with the biggest and the best, absorbing offense with seemingly little effect and dishing out punishment with headbutts and his crushing “Thump” powerslam finisher. A WWE Hall of Famer, Junkyard Dog also captured the WCW World Six-Man Tag Team Championship and a Slammy Award for “Best Single Performer.”
  • Last but certainly not least, the massive Sid Justice stood at 6’9” (205.74 cm) and punished opponents with his mastery of the powerbomb finisher. Making appearances in WWE, WCW and ECW, Sid took on many of the most prominent names in WWE history, including Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels, Mankind, The Undertaker, and The Dudley Boyz. He became a two-time WWE Champion, two-time WCW World Heavyweight Championship, and a WCW United States Heavyweight Champion, proving himself a dominant force everywhere he appeared.

There are also upcoming MyFaction Live Event rewards, which are avaiable to all players, and this includes a Persona Card of the Wrestlemania 41 version of Penta. The MyFaction Galaxy Opal Token Market will also be offering soon, which will offer powerful new cards to add to your collection.

The new content doesn’t end there. Thanks to dataminer What’s The Status, check out the datamined content from today’s patch in the gallery below.

The items spotted include:

  • New gloves
  • New Roman Reigns pants
  • New jacket (unknown who it belongs to)
  • Solo Sikoa Render updated in latest patch
  • Wrestlemania 41 Penta Persona entrance:

If Visual Concepts releases the official changelog, we’ll update the article with the info.

Battlefield 6 Next Update Is Due November 18; Changes Outlined and It Includes More Bloom Fixes

While DICE just released a new Battlefield 6 update yesterday, which fixed a significant number of issues, the studio is already looking ahead to next week’s update, which brings the mid-season patch that includes another new map, weapons and more.

Aside from the new content, the studio confirmed some of the key changes incoming as part of the California Resistance update due on November 18.

Battlefield 6 Next Update on November 18 Preview of Fixes and Improvements

Battlefield 6 high CPU fix

Coming with California Resistance (November 18)

  • Weapon Dispersion (Bloom) Fixes: We’ve made a small tuning pass that reduces how quickly dispersion and recoil build up during sustained fire. Dispersion adjustments apply to all weapons, while most also receive recoil tuning. These changes make weapons feel smoother and more consistent, especially at longer ranges where we’ve seen players engage more often. We’ll continue to monitor these updates and refine them based on gameplay data and community feedback.
  • Lighting Adjustments Visibility Upgrades: We’ve made further improvements to soldier visibility, particularly when transitioning between interiors and exteriors. These updates enhance exposure balance to make enemies easier to see in varying lighting conditions. We’ll continue refining visibility and related visual effects based on player feedback.
  • Challenge Clarity Updates: We’ve refined challenge descriptions and tracking to make your progress easier to understand and follow.
  • Fort Lyndon in Portal: More segments of Fort Lyndon will be available in Portal for creating community experiences.
  • Aim Assist Adjustments: We’ve adjusted Aim Assist to make aiming feel smoother and more predictable, helping players build stronger muscle memory. Tuning is now similar to the Open Beta experience. As a result, Infantry Aim Assist and Infantry Aim Assist Slowdown have been reset to match the new values, so try the update before making changes. Note: Infantry Aim Assist Zoom Snap settings are only active in Single Player and Portal experiences, and not in Multiplayer.

Aside from that list, DICE also outlined some of the key changes planned for December 9, which is when the Winter Offensive update is set to be released.

Targeting the Winter Offensive Update (December 9)

In addition to the new limited-time event and new melee weapon, here’s a quick peak at a few of the other updates that are in progress for Winter Offensive:

  • Vehicle Balance Pass: We’ve made an initial tuning pass to smooth out some of the biggest balance outliers between vehicles. Expect more consistent vehicle combat across the board.
  • Breakthrough Mode Adjustments: Several maps in Breakthrough have been updated to improve balance and flow. For example, Sector 1 in Mirak Valley now has fewer available vehicles and adjusted capture zones to help attackers make better progress.
  • Rush Mode Improvements: We’ve updated MCOM placements on Manhattan Bridge and Liberation Peak to create smoother attack routes and more engaging objectives.

Under Review

DICE also listed some of the items the dev team is looking into. These are topics the developers are talking about, but there is no timetable on when these will be pushed out.

  • Map Design and Size: We have seen your comments about map size and pacing. Battlefield is at its best when maps offer different ways to play and constant action around every corner. Striking that balance is always a priority, and we are committed to a variety of map types across future Seasons. With Eastwood arriving in the California Resistance Update, we will continue monitoring existing maps and modes for targeted adjustments (like what’s planned in Winter Offensive) while also learning from community creations in Portal.
  • Review of Challenges: We are reviewing challenges to better support the sandbox gameplay that sits at the core of the Battlefield experience.
  • UI and Menu Improvements: We are looking into adjustments that will roll out over time, with the goal of making navigation more intuitive, from settings menus to equipping earned skins to discovering Community Experiences more easily.
  • Player Stats: We are exploring expanded player stat tracking, including per-season details and other improvements.
  • Social Play Improvements: We are evaluating ways to make it easier to group up with friends and resolve issues that may prevent smooth session joining.
  • Hit Registration (Netcode): We are investigating improvements to hit registration. This work is closely tied to potential updates around time-to-death (TTD) and time-to-kill (TTK) consistency, as well as bugs such as sometimes dying when behind cover.
  • Vehicle Ecosystem: We are reviewing the overall vehicle experience to ensure balanced combat across all-out warfare modes and map types.

REDSEC

  • Audio Performance: We have identified performance and memory issues that can occasionally cause sounds, such as footsteps or vehicles, to not play consistently on larger Battle Royale maps. Optimization work is underway.
  • Battle Royale Solo Mode: We are reviewing Solo mode pacing and difficulty. Playing without a squad can feel punishing, and we want Solo to remain a rewarding Battlefield experience.
  • Casual Battle Royale Mode: We are investigating the potential for a more accessible Battle Royale mode that keeps the core intensity but allows for a relaxed playstyle.
  • Armor Plating: We are reviewing the current action time and availability for armor plating. It provides meaningful tactical choices, and we want to approach any changes carefully to maintain that balance.
  • Tank Availability: We are exploring possible adjustments to tank frequency and placement within Battle Royale matches.

If you’re playing on PS5 and noticed an error in launching the game after yesterday’s update, read on here for a fix. Note that the items above aren’t the complete patch notes, but the major strokes that are on the way. Once DICE releases the complete changelog, expect it here on MP1st.
