Gran Turismo 7 Known Issues Updated This Week, Here’s the List

Polyphony Digital has listed the Gran Turismo 7 known issues for the game, addressing that several of them are already acknowledged and will be solved in a future update. Check out the full list below, updated as of March 29.

Gran Turismo 7 Known Issues (As of March 29):

The following is a list of known issues for Gran Turismo 7.

Multiplayer
– In the ‘Lobby’, there have been cases where ‘Preparing’ is displayed on screen but the Host cannot start the race. Having all room members leave and re-entering the room will allow the race to be started;
– In the ‘Lobby’, there have been cases where entering the track in Practice does not let you drive and skip directly to the Final Race. In this case, please try to leave and re-enter the room;
– In a ‘2P Split Screen’ race, the Assist Settings for Player 2 are locked. We plan to fix this in a future update. (Player 1 will use the same Assist Settings as defined in [Settings] > [Assist Settings]);
– In the ‘Lobby’, there have been cases where players in the same room do not appear on the member list or during the race. In this case, an application error will occur when the host starts the race;
– In the ‘Lobby’, when the [Room Settings] > [BoP/Tuning Forbidden] is set to ‘On’, the [Assist Settings] return to the default values;
– In the ‘Lobby’, there have been cases wherein completing a race would not let users progress further.
– In the ‘Lobby’, there have been cases wherein players on a PlayStation®4 system are experiencing a black screen and their controller’s inputs stop working when starting a race with a mix of both PS4™ and PS5™ players.

Spectate
– When spectating in the ‘Lobby’ or ‘Meeting Place,’ if a player switches the camera target to a car in the pits, then changes back to a car on track, the 3rd Person view becomes unavailable. Leaving the ‘Spectate’ mode once will solve the issue.

Used Cars
– In the ‘Used Cars’ dealership, there have been cases where browsing the car list when the ‘Add to Wish List’ checkbox is checked for some could make some cars not display properly. In this case, please return to the World Map and re-enter the ‘Used Cars’ pavilion.

Livery Editor
– In the ‘Livery Editor’, when a decal is added and saved to the Custom Parts > Front > Type A location of a Ferrari F430 ’06, the decal on the front lip will not display correctly.

Options
– When the ‘Now Playing’ option from [GT Menu] > [Options] > [Global] > [In-game Notifications] is set to ‘Off’, the option will revert to ‘On’ once the game is restarted.

Car Settings
– There have been cases wherein selecting a part in the ‘Tuning Shop’, cancelling the purchase and then opening the Car Settings thereafter would make the newly created Setting Sheet’s name blank, and the Setting Sheet would reset.

Other
– There have been cases wherein the App hangs during the loading screen at start-up, and rare cases wherein the App crashes when entering certain race events. Deleting and re-installing ‘Gran Turismo 7’ might fix those issues.

Those issues are planned to be solved with a future update.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

There you have it. Once the new update that addresses these issues rolls around, we’ll be sure to let our readers know, so stay tuned. In the meantime, check out the latest patch notes for Gran Turismo 7 here which addressed Daytone in addition to numerous other fixes.

Unreleased Battlefield 2042 Crossbow and Legendary Skin for Casper Unearthed

While DICE has yet to deliver any new weapon in Battlefield 2042 since it launched in November last year, that doesn’t mean there’s none planned. Based on datamined info, it seems DICE is planning to feature (or planned to) a Battlefield 2042 crossbow weapon.

Spotted by reliable Battlefield dataminer temporyal, the unreleased Battlefield 2042 crossbow is called “The Ghostmaker,” and can be equipped with explosive bolts, EMP bolts, and even a red dot sight. This weapon was part of the Battlefield 3 DLC “Aftermath” years ago, which BF vets might be familiar with.

Another unreleased bit of content is a skin for the Specialist named Casper, and this is classified as a “Legendary” set, and can’t be mixed with other cosmetics.

Mind you, while these are still unreleased items spotted in the game’s files, that doesn’t mean we won’t see them at all. For all we know, the crossbow might be one of the new content planned for Season 1.

For more on unreleased content in BF2042, check out images of the unreleased air vehicles and guns here, and we even posted new images of the unreleased Christmas skins (and map!) for the game, too.

Sony Japan Orders Retailers to Break PS5 Seals in Front of Customers to Curb Scalpers

In an effort to curb PS5 scalpers, Sony Japan is ordering retailers in the country to break PS5 box seals in front of customers, thereby assuring that they will be the ones using the consoles and are not for reselling. It’s a very admirable effort against the always looming threat of scalping, as even now, more than a year later, PS5s are still widely scalped worldwide.

The report comes from Yahoo JP, and here is a short translation from Google:

“Malicious resale” where the home video game console “PlayStation 5 (PS5)” is sold at a price higher than the suggested retail price. It has been revealed that Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE), which sells the product, is distributing a sticker with the word “opened” to retailers.

The seal is operated by the store. Basically, it is a mechanism that puts a sticker on the PS5 box in advance, cuts off the sticker when selling, sells it, and “opens” it. The peeled seal is difficult to peel off, and the box may be scratched if it is forcibly peeled off.

It seems that the aim is to prevent some purchasers who purchased the PS5 from “malicious resale” as it is, and to cut the seal in advance so that it will not sell as a new product. Although SIE said that it distributes stickers to retailers, it avoids mentioning the scale and timing.

The article was brought up over on the PS5 subreddit, where several users praised Sony Japan’s efforts to curb PS5 scalpers and reselling. However, it’s unknown if such efforts can be implemented elsewhere, like in the US; there are sentiments that most buyers in the West would not really care about broken seals so long as the actual console works and is brand-new.

In case you missed it, a Spring Sale is now ongoing for PlayStation, where more than 500 games are discounted! Check out the full list of games on sale here.

Dead Cells Update 1.33 Out for Break the Bank This March 30

Motion Twin has released the Dead Cells update 1.33 patch today, and this one is for the Break the Bank update which adds a new biome plus the usual changes and fixes! Check out the full Dead Cells March 30 update patch notes below.

Dead Cells Update 1.33 Patch Notes | Dead Cells Break the Bank Patch Notes | Dead Cells March 30 Update Patch Notes:

Break the Bank

Important features

  • New biome : The Bank

This is a brand new biome that randomly appears in your run, optionally replacing the following biome if you choose to enter it.

The flashy bank chest is guaranteed to appear once in a transition area between biomes (but not before a boss). You can only enter The Bank by opening the chest as soon as you see it. If you don’t go for it then you lose the opportunity and the chest won’t reappear until you start a new run.

The Bank contains one less scroll and the same item level as the best biome in the replaced biome depth. There is also a guaranteed Cursed Chest.

To unlock The Bank, you just need to reach the Hand of the King or The Queen once. If you’ve already reached one of them, then The Bank chest will start appearing the next time you start from Prisoner’s Quarters.

  • 3 new enemies :

    – Agitated Pickpocket, wants your gold and has the claws to get it.

    – Gold Gorger, collects gold as it grows, but don’t let it reach it’s final form, it’ll kick your ass!

    – Golden Kamikaze, is the same bat you know and love, but it drops more money!

  • 3 new weapons :

    – Gold Digger, gives gold on hits plus critical hits if you’re filthy rich.

    – Dagger of Profit, crits for 3 secs after picking up gold.

    – Money Shooter, fires your gold. If you run out of gold, no more shots…

  • 3 new mutations :

    – Midas’ Blood, gives you gold when you lose health.

    – Gold Plating, you lose gold, not health, when you get hit.

    – Get Rich Quick, stack bonus gold by killing enemies while you have a speed boost and cash in when it ends. Gotta go fast…

  • New biome-specific mechanics in the Bank (including a really surprising one…)
  • 2 new “banky” outfits and a few lore rooms.

Balancing

  • Vampirism rework, now sacrifices a percentage of your maximum health to gain life leech on your melee attacks (effect doubled for heavy weapons) and a speed boost for 10 seconds.
  • Increased War Spear damage. It is no longer flagged as a heavy weapon. This mainly impacts its affix pool.
  • The Queen’s resistance to “crowd control” effects (Stun, Root, etc…) has been increased.
  • Items dropped after boss fights now have +1 item level. Boss loot felt unrewarding due to its level, so we increased it by +1
  • Removed Shield on Use to Face Flask and Serenade affix pool.

Graphics & UI

  • Community suggestion Scarecrow outfits now have proper names!
  • Community suggestion Conjunctivius’s eye now searches for the beheaded if invisible in tentacle phase.
  • Maw of the Deep and Bladed Tonfas tooltips updated to reflect the changes made in the DLC3 hotfix.
  • Custom mode Cursed Chest’s maximum curse increased to 999.

Quality of life

  • Community suggestion Added the last fight of the Servants in training room.
  • Upgrading an item in quality at The Blacksmith’s Apprentice doesn’t re-roll affixes anymore.
  • Added permanent light in Servants boss rooms for the Follow the Light custom game gameplay modifier. But seriously, do you really want to try the Lighthouse in the dark ?

Bug fixes

  • Maw of the Deep now properly displays crits.
  • Fixed invisible bullets for out of screen traps.
  • Fixed servants dying off screen after boss fight due to Barbed Tips.
  • Fixed some custom mode softlocks.
  • Fixed Giant’s slam attack not spawning crystals.
  • Fixed various bugs and crashes for the Queen.
  • Fixed Pause Bug. Hopefully for good this time.
  • Fixed custom mode gameplay modifiers incompatibility.
  • Fixed Spoiler Boss‘s flask not appearing in the UI.
  • Fixed falling through the ground on Carnivorous Plants.
  • Cursed Sword now displays its true damage values.
  • Various visual optimizations.

That’s it for the patch. Stay tuned here at MP1st for more once new updates roll out for Dead Cells!

Report: Valorant Console Versions in the Works According to Datamine & Job Listing

According to a datamine by well-known leakers of the game, Valorant console versions are currently in the works and much closer than we think, with strings referencing the platforms already in the existing code. Riot Games, Valorant’s developer, have not discounted the possiblility of porting the game over to consoles, and this may be the proof of it.

Reported by Shiina over on Twitter, here are the references to Valorant for console:

Console release for VALORANT might be closer than actually expected. These strings were added to the files today:

– “Connection to “PSN” has been lost.”

– “Connection to Xbox LIVE has been lost.”

As an additional piece of evidence, Riot Games is now hiring a senior game designer for consoles, and the description reads:

As a Senior Game Designer, you will design, tweak, and optimize the player experience. Your analytical skills, player insight, and creativity aid in crafting in- and out-of-game experiences that engage and surprise players. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and work with every tool at hand to innovate and iterate player-focused designs that’ll delight millions around the world. Design and refine features, modes, and systems to help bring console game products to market. You will report to the Senior Manager, Game Design.

While this post may be for a different game entirely, the timing for these new strings for Valorant may point to the game coming soon to consoles. However, as is with all things rumored and unconfirmed, take this one with a grain of salt until officially confirmed.

    • The ČZ vz. 27, A Czech semi-automatic pistol.
    • The Welrod mk.2, a silenced magazine pistol with a manual reload action.

    Gameplay and progression

    • Added the ability to call in AI-controlled bomber strikes in the “Battle of Stalingrad” campaign (available in Radio operators squad upgrades); added the ability to move cannons installed by engineers.
    • Added mechanics of stamina use when aiming down the sights while using heavy weapons. If the stamina level falls too low then the soldier will be unable to lift the weapon and fire. Stamina is not drained when using a bipod (this mechanic is realized in the “Battle for Stalingrad” campaign).
    • Molotov cocktail efficiency has been improved: now it does damage in a radius of 4 meters and is guaranteed to burn soldiers within the radius at the moment of impact,  in addition Molotovs will be able to disable the engines of vehicles more effectively.
    • The damage model for tanks has been updated: the tank’s ammo is now counted correctly and matches the remaining number of shells, which significantly reduces the chance of ammo detonation.
    • Tanks are now set on fire when the engine fails from incendiary and flamethrower damage.
    • The guidance cursor in ground vehicles now follows the turn of the vehicle when changing the course.
    • Added ammo boxes for tanks in Practice mode.
    • Changed the destruction logic of empty tanks: abandoned enemy tanks no longer explode when hit by small caliber rounds.
    • Added physical interaction of vehicles with different surfaces. Depending on the type of surface (dirt, snow, road, etc.) the maximum speed and acceleration time of each vehicle will differ. Also, surfaces will affect tracked and wheeled vehicles differently. Wheeled vehicles will show the best traction and speed on hard surfaces such as paved roads. Tracked vehicles are less dependent on the surface and, for example, do not lose as much speed when traversing through mud.
    • Corrected ricochets from graphite and concrete surfaces.
    • Improved bipod installation of machine guns.
    • Added ammo box usage animations.
    • Now allied explosives, shells and bombs will cause concussive effects. Small shelters do not protect from concussion.
    • Damage against the tracks of armored vehicles has been reduced if the anti-tank weapon’s projectile could not penetrate the track.
    • Increased damage dealt to a tank’s barrel if an anti-tank weapon’s projectile hit but failed to penetrate.
    • Now you can start healing with the first aid kit while running, the soldier will switch to a step.
    • When landing in an open vehicle camera is automatically pointed in the direction of the movement forward.
    • Kills with sniper weaponry are now logged in the correct category, before they were counted as rifle kills regardless of the weapon selected.
    • Improved the mechanics of returning to the battle area when parachuting: now, if there is a chance of getting damaged on landing with a parachute due to an incompletely opened parachute or being too fast, returning to the battle zone will only happen after landing, assuming the jumped out pilot survived.
    • Kills from assault rifles (not sniper rifles) are now counted as kills from submachine guns.
    • Reduced the maximum drop height at which a soldier can survive.

    AI-soldiers

    • Added AI-controlled gunners to control the rear turret of aircraft. The new crew members independently detect the target, warn by voice when the enemy appears and begin firing.
    • When in a tank, the AI crew will now prioritize the loader’s position first.
    • AI-soldiers now take longer to spot and engage a player who is out of their line of sight.

    Interface and Graphics

    • New effects for flamethrowers (tank and manual) and burning have been added.
    • New flash effects for firearms using a muzzle break have been added.
    • Added new visual effects of hits unique to each type of surface.
    • Interior lighting at minimum graphics settings has been made brighter.
    • New menu icons for mines and grenades have been added: Molotov cocktail, smoke grenade, explosive bag, antipersonnel mine.
    • Antipersonnel and anti-tank mines now have separate icons.
    • Widgets for Events, Special Events and Special Offers on the right side of the game menu have been merged into one.
    • Added a “change nickname” button in the profile window.
    • Improved the visuals of soldiers’ eyes. Now they look more realistic.
    • Added funnels of tank shell hits.
    • Score accumulated for capturing points is now displayed for the entire squad, instead of a fraction of a single selected soldier.
    • Disabled display of the killer (outline and camera rotation) when killed by bombs, mines and artillery.
    • Added a “Report a problem” button for consoles.

    Sound

    • Added sound effects of hitting and walking, unique to each type of surface.
    • Updated firing sounds for the following weapons: Mosin M1938 carbine, Mosin M91/30 rifle, Mosin M91/30 sniper rifle, Mosin rifle with Diakonov grenade thrower, PPD-34/38 (box), SVT-38, SVT 40, Sniper SVT-38, PTRS 41, DP-27, DT-29, PPS-42, M1928A1 Thompson with box magazine, AVT-40, Sniper AVS-36, AVS 36, Kar98k, Pre-war Kar98k with scope mount, Mannlicher M93, Kar98k with scope mount, MP 28, Gewehr 41, MP 40, MG 42, MKb 42(H), Sniper MKb 42(H), MP-717(r).

Rocket League Update 2.13 Rides Out for Bug Fixes

Psyonix has released Rocket League update 2.13 for bug fixes, and this is available for all platforms. In addition to that, the studio has also touched on some of the known issues some players are being troubled with as well. Read on for the latest Rocket League update patch notes.

Rocket League Update 2.13 Patch Notes:

    BUG FIXES

    • Fixed appearance of ‘Startrack’ Rocket Boost and Trail when previewing from a Blueprint
    • When backing out of a Playlist, fixed UI focus so you return to the previously selected Playlist card instead of defaulting to Casual
    • Fixed a UI error taking focus off of the Change Playlist/Training menu if selected by a player after a match
    • [Xbox] Improved boot times and general stability
    • Moved placement of Neo Tokyo (Comic) on the Arena list

    KNOWN ISSUES

    • Before v2.13, in a small percentage of Casual matches, a spectator would sometimes join a team, creating uneven teams
      • We believe this issue may be unique to v2.12
      • If this bug persists, we have added additional error logging to the game client with this update so we can better identify and resolve the issue

In addition to the fixes, the Lamborghini Countach LPI 800-4 is coming to the game on March 30 as well!

Once a new patch is out, we’ll be sure to let our readers know.

If you have been trying to play Diablo 2 Resurrected the last hour or so and are having issues, it’s not you. Blizzard has confirmed that Diablo 2 Resurrected servers down as they try to fix an issue related to shared stash.

As announced on the official Blizzard support Twitter account, the company confirmed that at this time, Diablo 2 Resurrected servers are down, as they have been taken offline for some emergency maintenance (so not planned).

We are currently performing emergency maintenance to resolve an issue with shared stash not being available. During this time, the game will be unavailable for play. We estimate this will require 2 hours of downtime.

Hopefully they will be back up shortly, though should the down time extend, or servers statuses change, we will be sure to update this post, so check back regularly.

Instinction Devs Hashbane Interactive Secures Funding to Continue Development

Hashbane Interactive, the studio developing the dino action game “Instinction” has announced that it has secured funding for the game’s continued development. In the press release, Hashbane names New Zealand-based company Hillfarrance as the investor that swooped in with the pre-seed investment.

With the help of the funding, Hashbane is now ramping up development by hiring more staff, which includes devs, 2D/3D artists and animators, as well as partnering with outsourcing studios, too.

If you want to check out the game’s reveal trailer, which features snippets of gameplay, head on over here. We also talked to the studio last year about their vision, and of course, we talked about Dino Crisis as one might expect.

Here are Instinction’s key features per Steam:

    • Layered Narrative: Discover the intense explorative story of April Summers, a driven and formidable adventurer deeply affected by personal demons and fears.
    • Survive and Explore: Play face to face against a wide variety of ravenous prehistoric and extinct creatures. Traverse, discover, solve puzzles and complete quests filled with deadly obstacles.
    • Stunning Locations: Conquer beautifully crafted interactive environments filled with ancient ruins, caves, lore, forests, grassy plains and underwater exploration.
    • Take Control: Switch between third and first person on the fly, with customisable hud, weapons and skins, special items and collectibles.

    II. New Character
5-Star Character “Pillar of Fortitude” Kamisato Ayato (Hydro)
    ◇ Vision: Hydro
    ◇ Weapon: Sword
◇ The young but highly accomplished head of the Yashiro Commission’s Kamisato Clan. Cultured and polite, he is a man of many ways and means.
Kamisato Ayato’s Elemental Skill “Kamisato Art: Kyouka” creates flash-step movements, leaving behind a watery illusion at his original location, and he then enters the Takimeguri Kanka state. After it is formed, the watery illusion will explode if opponents are nearby or after its duration ends, dealing AoE Hydro DMG. In the Takimeguri Kanka state, Ayato will use his Shunsuiken to engage in blindingly fast attacks, causing DMG from his Normal Attacks to be converted to AoE Hydro DMG. This cannot be overridden.
His Elemental Burst “Kamisato Art: Suiyuu” unveils a garden of purity that silences the cacophony within. While this space exists, Bloomwater Blades will constantly rain down and attack opponents within its AoE, dealing Hydro DMG and increasing the Normal Attack DMG of characters within.

    III. New Domain
    The Lost Valley
The ancient ritual grounds were buried beneath the earth amidst a cataclysm that tore heaven and earth asunder before being uplifted by the descent of an alien object, and finally unveiled by a destructive battle that resulted from a betrayal. This effect can be triggered once every 0.8s. Nascent Light will be dispelled when the character leaves the field. If an Elemental Burst is used again during the duration of Nascent Light, the original Nascent Light will be dispelled.
Echoes of an Offering (4-Star and 5-Star)
    ◇ 2-Piece Set: Increased ATK.
◇ 4-Piece Set:When Normal Attacks hit opponents, there is a certain chance that it will trigger Valley Rite, which will increase Normal Attack DMG by a certain percentage of ATK.
