Tekken 7 Update Today Now Live, Here Are the Gameplay Changes in Patch 3.20

Those looking forward to gameplay changes in Tekken 7, rejoice — though don’t be too happy just yet. Bandai Namco Entertainment has rolled out a Tekken 7 update today, and it’s full of gameplay changes, but not probably not the one you’re looking for. The Tekken 7 update 3.20 patch notes can be seen below, but for those hoping for a LeRoy nerf, yeah, you’ll have to wait.

Tekken 7 update today patch notes (Tekken 7 update 3.20) – January 28, 2020:

  • New feature called “My Replay & Tips” which will enable players to watch replays of their matches and receive tips for how to improve their performance.

  • Gameplay balance adjustments

tekken 7 update 3.20

If you’re not happy or content with Leroy’s changes, Tekken 7 Producer Michael Murray revealed that the gameplay changes were planned before EVO Japan.

Like some ppl have guessed, these patch notes were planned way before EVO Japan and are just the first round of changes. More on the way. Honestly a more thorough patch was planned with Fahkumram but

@Harada_TEKKEN and I are trying to speed it up.
Let’s hope that the character balancing complaints are being heard, and will be adjusted accordingly. That said, at least Bandai Namco has been transparent. Hopefully, it won’t take them a month to release another balance patch for the new fighters.

  • Weapons/Balancing:
    • The LMGs with 150 ammo capacity (Stoner, MK.48, 6P41) have been nerfed by -17%. (Only for raid boss fights, not for the rest of the game.)

      • Message from the Devs: The LMGs with high ammo capacity were too powerful and dominant in raid boss fights. Their damages have been nerfed for raid boss fights only (not for the rest of the game). It should help more weapons and playstyles to shine.

  • Baal:
    • The HP of the Baal has been nerfed by -5%.
    • Fixed a glitch where the boss could stop moving in some cases.
  • Skell Quantum Computer:

    • The HP of the red wasps in phase 2 has been nerfed by -9%.
    • The fight will now also trigger if a ghost walks on the roof of the control room.
  • Gargoyle:
    • Fixed a glitch where the boss could stop moving in some cases.
  • Cerberus:
    • The HP of the Cerberus has been nerfed by -5%.
    • The attacks on the same boss will come one after another with more delay (ex: after a flash attack, the Cerberus Flasher will wait a bit more before using its precision cannon).
    • Fixed a glitch where the boss could stop moving in some cases.
    • Fixed an issue that allowed players to go under the map after defeating Cerberus.

  • Fixed an issue where players won’t have a crosshair in spectator mode if they die while ADS.
  • Fixed an issue that caused the Special Ability gauge to fully charge on explosion kills.
  • Fixed the Quit to PvP/PvE double pop-up confirmation message if the player quits a PvP Standard Session while in the Matchmaking lobby.

NBA 2K20 Pays Tribute to Kobe Bryant, Community to Honor Bryant on Feb. 1

If you’re an NBA 2K player, chances are super high that you’re an NBA fan. Well, if you are, you’ve no doubt heard of NBA legend Kobe Bryant’s untimely passing yesterday. Developer Visual Concepts has decided to honor Kobe in NBA 2K20.

When you start the game up, you’ll be greeted with a black and white picture of the Black Mamba, and the years he’s lived (image via Reddit user LongKingjaj) .

The in-game tribute to one of basketball’s greatest players isn’t ending there for NBA 2K20 fans. Members of the community have announced that on Saturday, February 1, 2020 at 4 p.m. ET, all 2K, basketball and Kobe fans are invited to take part and pay tribute to Kobe in the NBA 2K20 Park.

Kobe Bryant Funeral in the 2K20 Park
byu/willcrocky13 inNBA2k

NBA 2K fans will remember that Kobe graced the game’s cover back in 2010, and was an alternate cover for NBA 2K17 too for the Legendary Edition.

As a huge NBA fan, and with Kobe being one of my top five favorite players of all-time, I’m deeply saddened by what happened to him his daughter, and the rest of the people that perished in the accident. MP1st’s thoughts and prayers go out to those affected.

If you’re playing any basketball game, go gun for 81 points in one game as Kobe.

We’ll keep an eye out on that Kobe tribute via the community and will give an update on how it turns out.

Surprising Benefits of Gaming for Students

Since video games emerged in the market, there have been heated debates as to whether gaming is good or bad for students. Unfortunately, the majority of people have concluded that gaming is the cause of many physical and mental problems even if there are no research findings to prove it.

However, things have changed for the better since professional researchers started conducting a series of studies to discover the truth. While there isn’t concrete evidence to prove that gaming is good for everyone, researchers have found that gaming is good when done in moderation.

As a responsible student, essay writer and adult, you need to use your time effectively. This means that you should know when to play and when to put the controller down. Here are some gaming benefits!

  • Video games slow down aging

According to essay writing service, we all have one thing in common. And that is we are growing old every day. While getting older makes us wiser and richer, there are additional mental problems that come with it.

Some of these problems include forgetting things and confusion to name a few. Similar to the physical body, your brain needs exercise to stay in shape. And gaming exercises your brain well.

  • Develops decision making skills

From the time we get out of bed, we have to make decisions. You can’t live successfully without making decisions. You are where you are because of the decisions you’ve made up until now. To become successful in the future, you need to learn how to make good decisions quickly.

Gaming demands you to make quick and precise decisions if you want to win. Most of them are fast-paced with events popping up all the time. You need to take in all the data and make the right decisions quickly. This is one of the most important skills in life.

  • Develops social skills

The majority of people associate gamers with social rejects. Even if you live and play alone in your basement, that does not mean that you have socializing problems or you can’t make friends.

Researchers from my assignment help did a series of studies and found that gamers are the liveliest people in social environments. They tend to form stronger relationships than non-gamers due to their passion for games.

If you need time to build your social life, all you have to do is ask, “who can do my essay for me right now?” When you find someone, you’ll have all the time to socialize and play your favorite games.

  • Games improve your learning ability

Most parents around the world believe that gaming makes their children perform poorly at school. Researchers have discovered that playing video games improves the brain’s flexibility.

72 participants were given the chance to play two different games for forty hours spread in six to eight weeks. They found that fast-paced games enhance the brain’s flexibility because the player has to keep thinking and acting.

  • Enhances body coordination

Students who play video games regularly tend to have better hand-eye coordination than non-gamers. This is because a player has to coordinate the movement of his or her eyes with hands to win.

Researchers also discovered that this trait is crucial for aspiring surgeons. This is why surgeons are required to perform several virtual surgeries during training.

  • Enhances focus and attention

One of the biggest worries among teachers and parents is that children will sit in class thinking about their favorite video games instead of paying attention.

Researchers have performed a series of studies to find out the truth and they’ve discovered that gamers outperform non-gamers when it comes to perception and attention.

  • Games treat depression

Researchers from New Zealand wanted to know whether video games can be used to treat mental disorders. Fifteen participants who had shown signs of depressions were divided into two groups.

Half of them were counseled while the rest played video games. They found that the gamers recovered quickly compared to their counterparts.

Conclusion

Gaming has lots of advantages that have yet to be discovered. Students need to play video games regularly to improve their focus, attention, decision making, and mental flexibility. However, it should be done in moderation. When you do everything in moderation, be it studying, playing or socializing, you’ll have enough time to do the most important things. And you’ll excel in them easily.

On the other hand, playing video games for ten hours every day does not have any benefits. If you think you are addicted to gaming, you should seek help as soon as possible to avoid unbearable consequences in the future.

Destiny 2 Ghost 2.0 Made by Fan Catches Bungie’s Eye

If you’re one of the many Guardians who think that the ghost in Destiny 2 can get an improvement or two, you’re not alone. Well, one gamer actually made a Destiny 2 ghost 2.0 mock up of sorts (at least in terms of features), and it even managed to catch Bungie’s eye!

Reddit user TheSpaghetti posted what he calls Ghost 2.0 that attempts to solve the problem of Ghost perks, seasonal mod slots and more.

The Problems

So some problems I wanted to try and fix with this is making ghost shells cosmetic, making seasonal mods easier to start to use, and the over-restriction of loadouts that the champion mods are causing.

Shells as cosmetics

Currently any shell without Guiding Light is useless. Most of the ghost shells you can buy or unlock are just instant dismantles if they can’t roll the right perks. With this, shells would work the same way as projections and would be swapped by left clicking on the ghost slot in the current inventory.

Right clicking would bring up this interface. Ghost perks would then become mods, dropping and unlocking to be slotted in the center row. The left two slots would be for exotic tier perks, the first right one is for common perks, and the last is for Guiding Light. Guiding Light can then be a perk that unlocks when a ghost is fully upgraded/other unlock conditions. This lets players use whatever shell they want and can expand on the mod system into ghosts.

Seasonal Mods

Right now using the new seasonal mods are a huge hassle. Using them requires grinding out the new armor which invalidates the previous god rolls and using a exotic means you’re missing out on a mod slot. While I get the intention was giving a reason to grind out the new armor but acquiring new pieces with the stats + affinity you want could take a while. Which wouldn’t be a problem but with mods that will go away, it feels bad not being able to really effectively use them until the season is well on it’s way.

With this, the seasonal mods will be moved to the outer ring section of the interface with the ghost having it’s own energy. The ghost could level with the artifact or with the new activities, with the full energy and slots unlocking along the way. This would give the full five slots regardless of the loadout and get people using the seasonal mods earlier and allow players to spend the rest of the season trying out builds.

Champion Mods

So one of the biggest complaints right now is how restrictive champion mods make the PvE endgame. It stops being about what is fun but rather what the game forces players to use. Here I also get the intention was to highlight under used weapon types but this makes the endgame less enjoyable.

The proposed idea here is that the bottom most slot will apply the various anti-champion effects across all weapons of an ammo type. So if you wanted your special weapon to be anti-barrier you’d pick the mod in the picture. All the mods would be pre-unlocked. What this achieves is allowing any weapon including exotics to be used in the endgame. But the restriction being you have one effect on one ammo type. This can then be combined with the seasonal weapon specific mods to highlight weapons and let people deal with multiple champion types if they choose. So players aren’t forced to use the highlighted weapon types but there is still incentive to.

Further Features

Not in the image but there would be a slot for shaders, and the kill trackers/stat trackers could be another slot potentially.

Bungie Community Manager Chris “Cozmo” Shannon noticed the post as well, and mentioned that while he can’t make any promises, they are looking into improving Ghosts. More importantly though, he confirmed that he’ll be providing Bungie devs with the feedback.

Will we see a Ghost update? Who knows, but don’t expect it anytime soon. Speaking of updates, we’re going to get a new Destiny 2 patch this coming week according to Bungie, and will mostly be for fixes.

Need for Speed Heat Wheel Support, Fixes Set for January Update

Those looking to play Ghost Games’ Need for Speed Heat with actual gaming wheels, you’ll be able to do that soon! How soon? Try next week! Ghost Games announced that Need for Speed Heat wheel support will be one of the major inclusions in the game’s January update.

Set for release this January 28, the Need for Speed Heat January update will also add quality of life improvements, a chat wheel, and the “Keys to the Map.” First off, check out the confirmed list of gaming wheels Need for Speed Heat will support once the patch drops.

STEERING WHEELS

At the end of the month, you’ll be able to plug in your own steering wheel to play Need for Speed Heat. We have tested the following models, but a few others might work as well:

  • Thrustmaster T300RS (PS4, PC)
  • Thrustmaster TX (Xbox, PC)
  • Thrustmaster T150 (PS4, PC)
  • Thrustmaster TMX (Xbox, PC)
  • Logitech G29 (PS4, PC)
  • Logitech G920 (Xbox, PC)
  • Fanatec CSL Elite Racing Wheel (PS4, PC, XB1)

Make sure to connect your equipment before launching the game, and that your steering wheel is assigned to your user profile.

Also coming back is the chat wheel from Need for Speed Payback. Here’s how it will look in Heat:

Additionally, “Keys to the Map” will be added too, which will “uncover Palm City’s secrets.” Having said that, it will require real-money to buy, and will instantly reveal locations on the in-game map which includes activities, collectibles and more.

Aside from those, Ghost Games will include quality of life improvements as well.

Driving through a gas station will now clean paint damage and remove scratches. Also, some players using manual shifting have mentioned that it’s too easy to accidentally enter the garage after exiting it or start an event. Now, we’re changing the input settings, so that you’ll have to hold down a button instead of just pressing it in order to perform an action.

Of course, that’s not the entire list of patch notes, but once we get them, we’ll let our readers know. If you haven’t checked the game out, make sure to read our review to see how it fares.

Announcing and Introducing SP1st!

Hey all,

While you might have seen a trickle of single-player gaming news here on MP1st, we’ve decided that it’s best to make the site stick to what it knows best, and that’s multiplayer-focused games. Having said that, we can’t deny the appeal of narrative-driven, single-player games, and the staff are huge fans of that.

So, with that in mind, we’ve decided to launch SP1st.com! As one might expect, it’s the single-player equivalent of MP1st, and focuses on single-player games. Same as with MP1st, don’t expect press releases there, but rather, we’ll be focusing on more granular news that you won’t find anywhere else. This includes detailed patch notes of games, walkthroughs, reviews and more. Speaking of reviews, these will be cross-posted on both sites (if applicable), along with a bunch of other stuff that applies to both fan bases.

We hope you’ll like the site’s design, and support it as much as you have MP1st over the years. We have loads of stuff planned for it, and the launch is but just the start. If there’s multi-platform news that affects both single-player and multiplayer gaming, you’ll see it on both sites, so don’t worry about missing out. We’re aiming for both sites to essentially be one big entity, though one with their own specialization.

If you have comments, suggestions, complaints and whatnot, don’t hesitate to contact me via email directly. Otherwise, please give SP1st a like on Facebook, and follow the site on Twitter.

id Software Aiming for DOOM Eternal Next Gen to Be the One of the Best Looking Games at Launch

id Software opens up briefly on plans for Doom Eternal next gen support as they actively look into it, stating they want the game to be one of the best for the platforms when they launch.

In a recent video interview with Digital Foundry, Doom Eternal executive producer and id software studio director, Marty Stratton took to discussing the number of improvements done to their id Tech 7 engine. Amongst these questions was whether or not the team was looking into supporting Doom Eteneral for next-gen consoles, and while Marty didn’t specify whether they’d offer a new version or release a patch to support next-gen features, he did state that the team is looking into support and sounded confident by the position the team has set themselves up for.

“Whenever we come out, or whatever levels of backward compatibility, I know there’s a lot of discussions around exactly how it’s going to work, but we want to be one of the best looking, besting playing games on that platform right away. We are actively looking at it, and very excited by it and I think in an awesome position”

We assume because the team is under some sort of NDA, chatter on next-gen console must stay on the low, though as we approach their release we are sure we will hear more on id Software plans for Doom Eternal next-gen version.

And despite next-gen consoles arriving near the end of this year, Stratton did state in another interview done by VideoGameschronicle, that current-gen console owners will be in for a “real treat” as they feel this is the best technology that they have built thus far, citing that the game looks really good on PS4 and Xbox One.

“We’re at the end of a hardware cycle where engine teams really understand the hardware and are getting the most out of it. We’ve increased graphics fidelity, polygon count… everything is pushed in this game and it still runs on all the consoles that Doom 2016 ran on.”

Doom Eternal is launching on March 20 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Google Stadia.

We reported yesterday that the game will feature a Battle Pass, which you can read about here.

Age of Empires 3: Definitive Edition Beta Launches Next Month

An Age of Empires 3 Definitive Edition beta has been revealed, giving insider subscribers an opportunity to try the game out in February.

In a now-removed forum post, the Xbox Game Studio posted some details around the beta, saying that if players want a chance to participate they’ll have to be subscribed to the AoE Insider Program. The beta will have very limited spots as the team wants to run trails with a small number of players first, with March opening up to a larger pool. Multiplayer features will be tested, along with a small portion of the main campaign. No exact date was given, though this forum post may have been published publicly by accident as it has now since been removed. We expect to hear official details next month on the Beta, though PCgamer was able to grab the minimum required PC specs for the Beta that’ll be available on both Steam and the Microsoft store.

Age of Empires 3: Definitive Edition Minimum PC Requirements

  • Windows 10 64-bit
  • 8GB RAM
  • 2GB video memory
  • DX11 / D3D11
  • HD Graphics 4400 or more if using integrated Graphics

Modern Warfare Deathmatch Domination & Gunfight Variations Incoming

Those looking forward to new game modes to play in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, you’ll be getting that soon-ish. In this week’s Community Update, Infinity Ward confirmed that Modern Warfare deathmatch domination is incoming, as well as a variation of the 2v2 mode, Gunifght.

We’re also working on some fun twists on old favorites, like Deathmatch Domination…and we’re working on a version of Gunfight with some updated loadouts. We also have some more 2XP events coming your way over the next few weeks too, so stay tuned for more details!

For those not familiar with deathmatch domination, it’s a more kill-focused take on the standard domination mode. In deathmatch domination, kills will count toward the overall score, so those who hate that some players don’t go after objectives and just kills, Modern Warfare deathmatch domination should be a welcome change of scenery.

Those getting stuck with the Spec Ops download loop on PS4, Infinity Ward is still investigating it, and has no update to give just yet. Thankfully, we posted a fix that hopefully works for those affected.

Given the state of the game now due to the 1.13 patch, don’t be surprised if we get a new patch this coming week just to address the issues brought by the latest update.

Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 2 Release Date Announced, Moving to New Engine

Epic Games has finally revealed the Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 2 release date along with a major announcement that the game is moving to a new engine iteration of Unreal Engine next month.

In a very brief blog post, Epic Games has detailed that update 11.50 will be launching on February 20, which will mark the start of Season 2 in Fortnite Chapter 2. It’ll bring many fixes and improvements, though the studio hasn’t detailed any of them, stating that they are currently testing things out with a small group of players.

However, the big noticeable changes that will be coming in season 2 of Chapter 2 is the shift in the game engine as it moves from Unreal Engine to Chaos Engine, which is still technically Unreal Engine by with physics built in mind. A demo of the engine was showcased last year, which demonstrates destruction on a whole new scale for the Unreal Engine.

With Fortnite being so heavily built around the fact that users can build structures, we expect things in Fortnite to get rather crazy with this new scale of Destruction. We aren’t sure if it’ll reach the same level shown in the demo, though the added physics will be a welcome addition to the game. Hopefully, we don’t see any major performance drop when it’s introduced. We’ll see next month when the patch releases.

Speaking of patches, the latest patch released by Epic was the v11.40.1 patch, and here’s what it does.
